- Lucas: Luna, welcome back to another episode of Learn Telugu with Fexingo! We're heading back to the zoo today. Luna: Oh I loved our zoo episodes. Last time we learned animal names like lion, tiger, elephant, monkey. Now we're going to describe them, right? Lucas: Exactly. And before we dive in, I want to say something. Now back to our zoo trip. Lucas: So the first phrase we learned was 'సింహం పెద్దది' — the lion is big. Say it with me: సింహం పెద్దది. Luna: సింహం పెద్దది. That means 'the lion is big'. Lucas: Perfect. Now, what about the elephant? 'ఏనుగు పెద్దది' — the elephant is big. Luna: ఏనుగు పెద్దది. That sounds like 'the elephant is big'. Lucas: Right. And the monkey? 'కోతి చిన్నది' — the monkey is small. Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. So 'చిన్నది' means small. Got it. Lucas: Yes. And the tiger? 'పులి అందంగా ఉంది' — the tiger is beautiful. Luna: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. That's a bit longer. 'అందంగా ఉంది' means 'is beautiful'? Lucas: Exactly. Let's practice all four. Repeat after me: సింహం పెద్దది. Luna: సింహం పెద్దది. Lucas: ఏనుగు పెద్దది. Luna: ఏనుగు పెద్దది. Lucas: కోతి చిన్నది. Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. Lucas: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Luna: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Lucas: Now imagine you're at the zoo. You see the lion. What do you say? Luna: సింహం పెద్దది! Lucas: And the monkey? Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. Lucas: Great. And if you see the tiger? Luna: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Lucas: You got it. Let's do a quick scene. You're at the zoo with a friend. Point to the elephant and say it's big. Luna: ఏనుగు పెద్దది. Look at that! Lucas: Perfect. And your friend asks about the monkey. Luna: కోతి చిన్నది. It's so small. Lucas: Excellent. Now let's listen to a dialogue. Imagine two people at the zoo. Luna: Person A: సింహం చూడు. Person B: సింహం పెద్దది. Person A: అవును, పెద్దది. And the tiger? Person B: పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Lucas: Perfect. So today we learned: సింహం పెద్దది, ఏనుగు పెద్దది, కోతి చిన్నది, పులి అందంగా ఉంది. Practice these and you'll be describing animals like a pro.
