- 1:00Speaker 7: On That Kevin Show.
- 1:08Speaker 4: And now from the Connors in Sullivan Broadcast Studios. A
- 1:12Speaker 4: man who is not what he wants to be, that
- 1:15Speaker 4: is way grateful, that is not who he used to be.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Here all right, welcome in.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It is a brand new week at That Kevin Show,
- 1:27Speaker 2: that kevinshow dot Com for all things related.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Thankful to have you here.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I'm troubled by the fact that we had another attempted
- 1:38Speaker 2: probably assassination or mass killing rather in the nation's capital
- 1:43Speaker 2: over the weekend. Very disturbing to see that these patterns
- 1:48Speaker 2: continue to, you know, occur, and I am thankful, I
- 1:52Speaker 2: guess for a lot today you've got you've got on
- 1:56Speaker 2: some level, you know, really quick acting secret service that
- 2:01Speaker 2: took the guy down. I do have a lot of
- 2:04Speaker 2: questions about why certain things.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Took place the way they did.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I've got big questions about why the security wasn't better
- 2:12Speaker 2: at the hotel itself. Evidently, the shooter, if I'm going
- 2:16Speaker 2: off the latest information or at least what I have seen,
- 2:20Speaker 2: the shooter checked into the hotel on Friday, and between
- 2:24Speaker 2: Friday and Saturday night basically had the run of the
- 2:28Speaker 2: place to kind of case it and scope it out
- 2:30Speaker 2: and do all the rest of it.
- 2:32Speaker 3: And the fact that.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We've you know, had multiple attempts on this current president's
- 2:40Speaker 2: life and nobody bothered to have better security than that,
- 2:46Speaker 2: I think is a real, real problem, and it's it's
- 2:49Speaker 2: just it's just it speaks to the issues that we
- 2:53Speaker 2: have in our country today. There's been some fallout. I
- 2:57Speaker 2: don't know if you saw the sixty minutes interview on
- 2:59Speaker 2: Sunday Night with Nora O'Donnell and President Trump. But that
- 3:04Speaker 2: was not a pretty picture. I mean, he was he
- 3:07Speaker 2: was in relatively you know, I would just say, even
- 3:11Speaker 2: keel mode, until she decided to read part of the
- 3:15Speaker 2: the manifesto from the from the shooter, and she picked
- 3:19Speaker 2: some of the most heinous things that the shooter could
- 3:23Speaker 2: be citing for his rationale for why he wants to
- 3:27Speaker 2: kill the president and kind of just read them without commentary,
- 3:32Speaker 2: and the President got quite agitated, and he said that
- 3:36Speaker 2: she was a terrible reporter and that she should it
- 3:40Speaker 2: should have been beneath her to read the stuff that
- 3:42Speaker 2: she did. I think part of the problem here, and
- 3:46Speaker 2: I think Nora O'Donnell certainly contributes to it, but I
- 3:48Speaker 2: think in general, part of the problem here is that
- 3:51Speaker 2: we have stopped treating certain topics with the disdain and
- 3:56Speaker 2: the disgust that they really deserve. And when you have
- 4:01Speaker 2: someone throwing around the accusation that someone is a rapist
- 4:07Speaker 2: or a pedophile, which was the claim that the manifesto
- 4:12Speaker 2: said was one of the reasons why he was going
- 4:14Speaker 2: to go kill the president, and Nora O'Donnell just repeats
- 4:16Speaker 2: it like it's no big deal, Like, oh, well, you know,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I don't want the blood of a rapist and a
- 4:21Speaker 2: pedophile on my hands anymore. Well, first of all, he
- 4:23Speaker 2: didn't vote for Trump, so like he's technically even if
- 4:27Speaker 2: you thought he was those things, you didn't vote for him,
- 4:30Speaker 2: So how's that on your hands? But secondly, to just
- 4:34Speaker 2: assert that about anyone without actual evidence, and to do
- 4:40Speaker 2: so so casually the way she did in that interview,
- 4:44Speaker 2: it made every bit of sense to me that the
- 4:47Speaker 2: president was incensed as to how she brought it up.
- 4:50Speaker 2: And she's bringing it up like the president hasn't read
- 4:53Speaker 2: it and doesn't know what's in there, and all of
- 4:56Speaker 2: a sudden she's going to surprise him and shock him
- 4:58Speaker 2: on this, and he's going to be on his heels.
- 5:00Speaker 2: The President did the right thing. He should not acknowledge
- 5:03Speaker 2: at all those types of charges, especially ones that are
- 5:08Speaker 2: presented in such a disregarded kind of context of what
- 5:15Speaker 2: the accusation means against the person it's being made against.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And she tried to say, well, those were the words
- 5:22Speaker 2: of the shooter. You could tell she had made she
- 5:26Speaker 2: had chosen poorly, and she was regretting her choice quite
- 5:30Speaker 2: badly while he was chastising her for it. But she
- 5:35Speaker 2: deserved that chastisement. The problem comes from over associating it
- 5:40Speaker 2: with things that it doesn't apply to. And to be clear,
- 5:44Speaker 2: women who have even attempted to make that accusation about
- 5:48Speaker 2: the president have all ended up having to change their accusation,
- 5:53Speaker 2: recant their accusation, take back their accusation. And I don't
- 5:58Speaker 2: know if anybody's noticed this, but the Trump organization when
- 6:01Speaker 2: you do that, when you come at President Trump with
- 6:03Speaker 2: that type of character slander, they they come back at
- 6:09Speaker 2: you with a lawsuit for the slander and for damages.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And he's won every single one of those. Everyone that's
- 6:17Speaker 2: tried to say he was a rapist, he is. He
- 6:21Speaker 2: is counterfiled and they've had to eat those words, and
- 6:24Speaker 2: he's won those cases. It should not be the case
- 6:29Speaker 2: where when if someone wants to just walk up and say, Kevin,
- 6:32Speaker 2: you're a pedophile, that they should be able to do
- 6:35Speaker 2: so with impunity. That's a heinous charge, it's a heinous crime.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It's a heinous accusation, and you should not be allowed
- 6:45Speaker 2: to just make that against me and falsely accuse me
- 6:50Speaker 2: without penalty. And this isn't a limit of free speed.
- 6:53Speaker 2: This is not a speech issue. This is you are
- 6:57Speaker 2: you are damaging. You are attempting to damage the person's
- 7:01Speaker 2: character and their reputation. And in the case of people
- 7:05Speaker 2: that it's not true about, you're doing it as a lie.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And whether Nora O'Donnell believes it or not, she gives
- 7:13Speaker 2: herself the excuse by saying, well, it's the manifesto. This no, no, no,
- 7:18Speaker 2: you read it, you said it. You gave life to it.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Something that should have never seen the light of day.
- 7:25Speaker 2: The guy was messed up, he was sick in the head,
- 7:27Speaker 2: he had had a lot of problems. His own family
- 7:30Speaker 2: had turned him into the cops multiple times. There was
- 7:34Speaker 2: no justification for what she did, and so the president chastised.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He said, this is terrible journalism. You should not be
- 7:42Speaker 2: doing this, and good for him for doing it. The
- 7:46Speaker 2: Nora O'Donnell's of the world think they are doing well.
- 7:51Speaker 2: They pretend to do public good by making these types
- 7:56Speaker 2: of accusations against people who they simply disagree with. Because
- 8:00Speaker 2: I will guarantee you Nora O'Donnell has not asked the
- 8:04Speaker 2: same question of Bill Clinton. There is far more evidence
- 8:07Speaker 2: that Bill Clinton not only was on the island, but
- 8:09Speaker 2: on the plane and around the girls of Epstein's situation
- 8:13Speaker 2: than anything associating Trump with anything related to Epstein. There's
- 8:18Speaker 2: actual evidence that Clinton was around and in and you know,
- 8:23Speaker 2: down for a good time. Trump turned Epstein in, he
- 8:28Speaker 2: kicked him out of mar A Lago, He did all
- 8:30Speaker 2: the stuff that someone who has honor would do. And
- 8:34Speaker 2: I just think, I just think it's insidious that he
- 8:37Speaker 2: and the first Lady continually have to answer this when
- 8:41Speaker 2: everyone that's looked into it knows that it's not true,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and yet journalists like Nora O'Donnell continued to pretend that
- 8:48Speaker 2: we don't know the truth. She absolutely knows the truth.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And if she reports anything but that, President Trump will
- 8:56Speaker 2: take her to.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Court and he will win, and he will win big.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It was a terrible night for journalism last night on
- 9:03Speaker 2: sixty minutes.
- 9:04Speaker 3: And it's my goodness how that show has fallen.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I used to be a big fan of sixty minutes,
- 9:09Speaker 2: and now it's just it's so hard to stomach because
- 9:12Speaker 2: of the particularly the way they handle the presidential and
- 9:18Speaker 2: top figures politically in the country. But she wasn't the
- 9:21Speaker 2: only one making trouble with a member of the Trump
- 9:24Speaker 2: family this week, and I'll tell more of that story
- 9:26Speaker 2: coming up. Coming up this week, We've got a great
- 9:28Speaker 2: conversation with Mark Hollenbeck, who's going to be with us
- 9:31Speaker 2: from Camelback Church from the Scottsdale, Arizona area, and we're
- 9:35Speaker 2: going to look at what the attribute of power is
- 9:38Speaker 2: all about in the New Testament. And a little bit
- 9:40Speaker 2: later on, Eric Oddnald should be with us. It's a
- 9:42Speaker 2: Monday Monday. We've got lots to talk about. I hope
- 9:44Speaker 2: that you will be right here the whole time. It's
- 9:46Speaker 2: that Kevin show. I am that Kevin Cavin M'Call. Glad
- 9:50Speaker 2: to have you with us.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York, Ken Kevin McCullough.
- 10:17Speaker 2: All right, welcome, it's Kevin McCullough brand new week and
- 10:21Speaker 2: always glad to have you with us. And here towards
- 10:23Speaker 2: the top of the show. You know that we like
- 10:24Speaker 2: to dig in before we get on with the rest
- 10:27Speaker 2: of it. And what I mean by that is we
- 10:29Speaker 2: dig into God's word. We actually try to exposit a
- 10:33Speaker 2: few things. Talk about some verses that are making a
- 10:37Speaker 2: difference because God intended them to be things that we
- 10:40Speaker 2: heard and here, and I'm hopeful that our discussion this
- 10:44Speaker 2: week is going to be very impactful. I'm very pleased
- 10:46Speaker 2: to welcome to the show for the first time our
- 10:49Speaker 2: first shepherd from the Phoenix area and Camelback Christian Church
- 10:54Speaker 2: is in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the lead pastor there is
- 10:57Speaker 2: Mark Hollinback and he joins us, and Mark, thank you
- 11:01Speaker 2: for doing this.
- 11:02Speaker 3: You've tentatively called this week that we're.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Going to look at these passages and there's a few
- 11:08Speaker 2: different ones that we're going to look at one each day.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You've called it the attribute of power. What does that mean?
- 11:15Speaker 8: Well, thank you, I appreciate that, and once again, thank
- 11:17Speaker 8: you Kevin for having the weekend partner this week and
- 11:21Speaker 8: move forward with this and yes, God's power alone and
- 11:26Speaker 8: the attribute of power and looking at the New Testament
- 11:30Speaker 8: and over forty times in the New Testament the virtue
- 11:35Speaker 8: of power is associated with Christianity and a Christian life.
- 11:41Speaker 8: To me, that's an amazing statistic, so to speak. So
- 11:46Speaker 8: where is the origin of that power? That's what I
- 11:49Speaker 8: would like us to focus on this week. We obviously
- 11:52Speaker 8: don't have time to look at all forty so I
- 11:54Speaker 8: want to focus on five. Hopefully we can focus on
- 11:57Speaker 8: five of those this week. But the interesting thing is
- 12:00Speaker 8: is that the first generation Christians didn't have the New Testament. Obviously,
- 12:07Speaker 8: they had the Old Testament, they had scriptures of the
- 12:09Speaker 8: Old Testament, didn't have the New.
- 12:11Speaker 7: So where did they get this power from?
- 12:14Speaker 8: And they got it from two sources. They got it
- 12:19Speaker 8: from the Cross, and they got it from the resurrection.
- 12:23Speaker 8: And so once again, so ironic is in first century Palestine,
- 12:29Speaker 8: first century Jerusalem, why in the world would you look
- 12:33Speaker 8: at a cross, Why a new world would you look
- 12:35Speaker 8: at a tomb as a source of.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Power, because they certainly weren't.
- 12:41Speaker 8: And yet once again it boils down to God's power alone.
- 12:47Speaker 8: This has to come from another source. Where we get
- 12:51Speaker 8: our power from. Where they got their power from, hence
- 12:54Speaker 8: where we got our power from.
- 12:57Speaker 7: So that's what I.
- 12:57Speaker 8: Would like to focus on this week.
- 13:01Speaker 7: In our time together.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Well, I think that would be fantastic. And by the way,
- 13:04Speaker 2: Mark is also the host of a very similarly titled
- 13:06Speaker 2: broadcast on our affiliate there in Phoenix called God's Strength Alone.
- 13:11Speaker 3: They're on thirty sixty KP. Excuse so I get.
- 13:14Speaker 2: This feeling that you're kind of plugged into this idea
- 13:17Speaker 2: that God's strength and what we draw from that is
- 13:21Speaker 2: kind of key to the Christian life. You've selected Romans one,
- 13:24Speaker 2: sixteen and seventeen.
- 13:25Speaker 3: For today's discussion. What does that tell us?
- 13:27Speaker 8: That tells us the way back when I was I
- 13:32Speaker 8: attended undergrad at the University of Illinois, and why we
- 13:35Speaker 8: had the camp. I was involved with the Fellowship of
- 13:37Speaker 8: Christian Athletes. I played football there and the guy that
- 13:40Speaker 8: headed up the FCA, and his favorite verse was Romans
- 13:45Speaker 8: one sixteen for I am not ashamed of the Gospel
- 13:49Speaker 8: because it is the power of God that brings salvation
- 13:53Speaker 8: to everyone who believes, first of the jew then to
- 13:56Speaker 8: the gentile. And he just, boy, he just preached, taught
- 14:00Speaker 8: that lived that for the power of God unto salvation
- 14:04Speaker 8: for everyone who believed that. Paul was unashame for proclaiming
- 14:08Speaker 8: a message that caused him disgrace.
- 14:11Speaker 7: That's the amazing thing about Paul's life.
- 14:14Speaker 9: And we all know that that it caused him amazing
- 14:16Speaker 9: disgrace in his life, but he just he was so
- 14:21Speaker 9: passionate and went forward with that well.
- 14:24Speaker 2: And I think it's an interesting contrast because your buddy
- 14:27Speaker 2: that was the FCA head.
- 14:28Speaker 3: You know, he's a football player, he's popular.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It's it's a different level of stage, if you will,
- 14:36Speaker 2: to talk about Romans one verse sixteen, than the apostle Paul,
- 14:41Speaker 2: who's chained to a wall and chained to a Roman
- 14:44Speaker 2: guard and is on trial for his life and he's
- 14:48Speaker 2: going to die coming soon. It's a little bit different
- 14:52Speaker 2: in perspective.
- 14:53Speaker 8: That is true. Absolutely, you are absolutely correct. Yeah, our
- 14:57Speaker 8: perspective is different than obviously Paul was and writing that
- 15:01Speaker 8: to the Romans who were facing, for the most part,
- 15:06Speaker 8: trials that were more intense, more radical, more completely yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 8: completely unfair than where we are in our culture today.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Who knows where this is headed, but.
- 15:21Speaker 8: Yeah, but yes, he just went forward.
- 15:25Speaker 6: I'm unashamed.
- 15:26Speaker 8: I'm unashamed of this gospel, for it is the power
- 15:29Speaker 8: of God unto salvation. I'm not backing down on this.
- 15:33Speaker 8: I'm just not backing down on this. Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So absolutely, So what do we draw from what Paul's
- 15:40Speaker 2: saying there? What what are some ideas because Power was
- 15:44Speaker 2: obviously not getting released from his captivity. Power was obviously
- 15:49Speaker 2: not overpowering his enemies who were chained to him or
- 15:53Speaker 2: pointing spears at him, to make sure he stayed in line.
- 15:56Speaker 2: You know what what was power to Paul.
- 16:00Speaker 8: Is the power, he continues by saying, it's the righteousness
- 16:06Speaker 8: of God. In this power, in the salvation, the righteousness
- 16:09Speaker 8: of God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith.
- 16:14Speaker 8: And he connects it, a righteousness that is by faith.
- 16:17Speaker 7: What is that power? How do we connect with it?
- 16:19Speaker 8: To answer your question, It's a righteousness that is revealed
- 16:22Speaker 8: by faith, and that's where we connect to it. That's
- 16:27Speaker 8: how we connect to it, That's how we embrace it.
- 16:33Speaker 8: That's how we move forward with it. And you know
- 16:36Speaker 8: what does that look like in our lives? You know,
- 16:39Speaker 8: putting off old ways and doing things God's ways. The
- 16:45Speaker 8: fifty cent word for that in Scripture is repentance, and
- 16:49Speaker 8: you know Paul talks about that in Ephesians, you know,
- 16:52Speaker 8: seeking The word he introduces in that passage in Romans
- 16:57Speaker 8: is righteousness, for in it, the righteousness of God is
- 17:00Speaker 8: revealed the Gospel and that is such a say, tough word,
- 17:07Speaker 8: but that we are now the righteousness of God is
- 17:11Speaker 8: is what the New Testament teaches us through Christ. It's
- 17:16Speaker 8: the salvation. It's a power unique to the cross. Salvation
- 17:20Speaker 8: is the power of righteousness revealed and the power of
- 17:22Speaker 8: righteousness embraced by faith. And in that we we put
- 17:27Speaker 8: off our old ways and put on new ways called repentance.
- 17:31Speaker 8: We seek more and more to understand and gain insight
- 17:36Speaker 8: into what is best. And Paul talks about that and Ephesians,
- 17:41Speaker 8: because I think all too often we can the phrases
- 17:45Speaker 8: that sometimes the good.
- 17:47Speaker 7: Can be the enemy of the best.
- 17:49Speaker 8: Yes, and that is just yeah, that is and it
- 17:53Speaker 8: can be in our lives. We settle, We settle for
- 17:57Speaker 8: what is good instead of moving forward, word for what
- 18:01Speaker 8: is best, And Paul says in Philippians he encourages us
- 18:06Speaker 8: to move forward and Philippians won. He says, and this
- 18:11Speaker 8: is my prayer that your love may abound more and
- 18:14Speaker 8: more in knowledge and in depth of insight, that you
- 18:17Speaker 8: may be able to discern what is best and may
- 18:21Speaker 8: be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled
- 18:25Speaker 8: with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ.
- 18:29Speaker 8: And so getting back to your question to discern what
- 18:32Speaker 8: is best, and.
- 18:34Speaker 7: That's that's work.
- 18:36Speaker 8: You know that, and I know that that is work
- 18:39Speaker 8: in our lives.
- 18:39Speaker 7: Well.
- 18:39Speaker 2: The other the other fifty said, word that comes to
- 18:42Speaker 2: mind in that is sanctification like that is the process
- 18:45Speaker 2: of becoming more like Jesus.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Absolutely, absolutely the process, the process. And in our culture,
- 18:54Speaker 8: I say this, we live in such a microwave culture
- 19:00Speaker 8: that if it's not instantaneous, we don't want it. And
- 19:05Speaker 8: and you know that is just true in marriage that
- 19:07Speaker 8: it's it's just yeah, we just we just live in
- 19:11Speaker 8: a microwave culture. And sanctification is not a microwave process.
- 19:18Speaker 8: And you know, why do why do so many people
- 19:22Speaker 8: tend to quote unquote give up on the Christian life
- 19:25Speaker 8: on sanctification And because it's a work.
- 19:28Speaker 7: It is a work, a work of work.
- 19:30Speaker 8: And how many times does Paul talk about that in
- 19:33Speaker 8: a New Testament? And even we're told about Christ that
- 19:38Speaker 8: he learned what it means to be the son of
- 19:40Speaker 8: God through the through his sufferings, and it's like, I
- 19:45Speaker 8: don't want to I don't want to read that. But yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 8: you're right, it's a it's a sanctification. That's another great
- 19:53Speaker 8: word to use here as far as the power of
- 19:58Speaker 8: God and what is sel how does that translate into
- 20:01Speaker 8: our lives?
- 20:02Speaker 2: Well, We're going to spend the rest of this week
- 20:04Speaker 2: talking about God's power and the attribute of it, how
- 20:08Speaker 2: we access it, what it looks like, how when it
- 20:12Speaker 2: is doing the work that it is, what that produces
- 20:16Speaker 2: in our lives.
- 20:17Speaker 3: And I'm looking forward.
- 20:17Speaker 2: We'll be in today, We're in Romans, We'll be in Philippians, Ephesians,
- 20:21Speaker 2: Tewod Corinthians, and even First Peter before the week closes out.
- 20:24Speaker 3: But Mark Hollenbach, thank you so much for what you're doing.
- 20:28Speaker 2: And if people want more info, Camelback Christian Church dot
- 20:32Speaker 2: org is where Mark is at and we'll give you
- 20:35Speaker 2: some more infos would go.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Along through the week. But Camelback Christian Church dot org. Mark,
- 20:40Speaker 3: thank you so much.
- 20:41Speaker 7: High privilege. Look forward to speaking with you tomorrow.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Kevin McCullough coming right back from New York State.
- 20:47Speaker 10: Here, let's stick around for more of that. Kevin next
- 21:08Speaker 10: here he is from New York.
- 21:11Speaker 1: That Kevin. Kevin McCullough.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Hey, Kevin McCullough, glad to have you here, Thank you
- 21:17Speaker 2: for being here. I just want to get to a
- 21:19Speaker 2: really cool little bit of news. As of this morning
- 21:25Speaker 2: when I got my latest report, nine hundred and one
- 21:29Speaker 2: children nine hundred and one children have been fed and
- 21:33Speaker 2: given clean drinking water for the coming year through your
- 21:36Speaker 2: efforts with food for the poor, and we have about
- 21:39Speaker 2: five days left on the campaign. That means we are
- 21:43Speaker 2: just under one hundred kids away from feeding a thousand
- 21:48Speaker 2: children for the coming year, two meals a day and
- 21:51Speaker 2: clean drinking water all they can drink. We're just under
- 21:54Speaker 2: one hundred kids away from reaching that thousandth child. And
- 21:58Speaker 2: I would prefer not to leave that thousand, that thousandth
- 22:01Speaker 2: child out. Would you be willing to help us? Eight
- 22:05Speaker 2: five five nine zero seven four six seven three is
- 22:07Speaker 2: the number eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 22:10Speaker 2: seven three. But it has been such a cool experience
- 22:13Speaker 2: to watch the numbers of children continue to be helped
- 22:17Speaker 2: and now eclipsing the nine hundred child mark because of
- 22:20Speaker 2: your generosity. And I just have to say, you know,
- 22:25Speaker 2: we we can do so much good, but that thousandth
- 22:28Speaker 2: child by this coming Friday, it would mean we would
- 22:32Speaker 2: need about twenty five kids a day to be sponsored
- 22:35Speaker 2: for for this week. And if we can do that,
- 22:37Speaker 2: then then we can get there. Would you be willing
- 22:39Speaker 2: to take care of one one child? One child is
- 22:41Speaker 2: seventy five dollars, two children one hundred and fifty dollars.
- 22:45Speaker 2: But here's what happens when you give that gift to
- 22:49Speaker 2: my friends at Food for the Poor. They're going to
- 22:51Speaker 2: feed that child two meals per day for the coming
- 22:54Speaker 2: year and give them all the clean drinking water that
- 22:56Speaker 2: they can handle. And this is in countries where they
- 22:59Speaker 2: don't have clean source. This is a drinking water and
- 23:01Speaker 2: they don't have enough food. This is a real need
- 23:06Speaker 2: being met on a real level that real children are
- 23:10Speaker 2: going to be really helped by. And my family's involved.
- 23:14Speaker 2: We have more than three hundred and eighty other families
- 23:18Speaker 2: involved that have all jumped up and said, yeah, we
- 23:20Speaker 2: want to be involved, would you help us? Eight five, five,
- 23:25Speaker 2: nine zero seven four six seven three. Now, these are
- 23:28Speaker 2: kids you've if you've been listening in recent weeks, you
- 23:30Speaker 2: know that these are kids that you know, outside of
- 23:33Speaker 2: this feeding program from Food for the Poor, they will
- 23:36Speaker 2: likely die in the next year. These are mothers and
- 23:39Speaker 2: fathers who live in third world situations where they don't
- 23:43Speaker 2: even have enough money to feed themselves, and usually they
- 23:48Speaker 2: have to have their kids, you know, sharing which day
- 23:51Speaker 2: they get to eat, rotating who's eating today and who
- 23:55Speaker 2: gets to eat tomorrow because of the minimal amount of
- 23:59Speaker 2: resources that they have. Friends, you can change all of
- 24:01Speaker 2: that eight five five nine zero seven four six seven
- 24:04Speaker 2: three eight five five nine zero seven four six seven three.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I'm just asking if you would, would you be willing.
- 24:12Speaker 2: To say, Okay, here's one hundred and fifty dollars two
- 24:17Speaker 2: kids right now. If there were twelve of you that
- 24:19Speaker 2: could do two kids today, and we had twelve that
- 24:22Speaker 2: could do two kids tomorrow, and twelve doing two kids
- 24:25Speaker 2: the day following that, we could get to one thousand
- 24:30Speaker 2: children being helped before the end of the week. But
- 24:32Speaker 2: that's my goal. That's my goal to do that remaining
- 24:38Speaker 2: part we need about seventy five hundred dollars. Will you
- 24:43Speaker 2: help us eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 24:45Speaker 2: seven three. Maybe you could do a three thousand dollars
- 24:48Speaker 2: gift and help a whole bunch of kids. The thing
- 24:50Speaker 2: that's going to be beneficial is if you give it
- 24:52Speaker 2: right now, it's going to be matched dollar for dollar,
- 24:55Speaker 2: bite of food for bite of food, child for child
- 25:00Speaker 2: nine zero seven four six seven three. These are kids
- 25:03Speaker 2: that on average will go up to seventy two hours
- 25:06Speaker 2: in between anything that looks like an actual meal. If
- 25:08Speaker 2: they don't have this, that is not good for their body,
- 25:12Speaker 2: that is not good for their immune systems that is
- 25:13Speaker 2: not good for their development. It stunts growth in children
- 25:18Speaker 2: that should never have their grunt, their growth stunted. And
- 25:22Speaker 2: we cannot do it without you. So would you just
- 25:27Speaker 2: ask yourself right now, Okay, God's been good.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I'm going to get a tax rebate.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Let me let me portion off one hundred and fifty
- 25:37Speaker 2: dollars and help two children get seven hundred and thirty
- 25:41Speaker 2: meals each over the course of the next year. And oh,
- 25:44Speaker 2: by the way, if you do it right now, that's
- 25:46Speaker 2: going to turn into four kids because of the matching
- 25:48Speaker 2: challenge eight five five nine zero seven four six seven
- 25:52Speaker 2: three eighty five five nine zero seven four six seven three.
- 25:55Speaker 2: There's also an online giving option. If you want to
- 25:57Speaker 2: read a little more about what you're giving to, you
- 26:00Speaker 2: can go to that kevinshow dot com. Click the banner
- 26:02Speaker 2: at the top of the page with the beautiful little
- 26:04Speaker 2: girl's face who's looking hungry. That kevinshow dot com. Click
- 26:08Speaker 2: the banner eight that kevinshow dot com click the banner.
- 26:11Speaker 2: But I'm just going to tell you my family started
- 26:14Speaker 2: feeding Kids with Food for the Poor about twenty five
- 26:17Speaker 2: years ago, and we just love this organization. I've traveled
- 26:20Speaker 2: to the countries that they work in. I've seen the
- 26:22Speaker 2: projects that they do.
- 26:23Speaker 3: With the kids.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I've seen the houses that some of us have built
- 26:27Speaker 2: to support a family that didn't have one. I've I've
- 26:31Speaker 2: served food in the feeding system lines, big big, big
- 26:35Speaker 2: vats of rice and beans, and I've assembled the bowl
- 26:38Speaker 2: and given it to a child and watched their eyes
- 26:40Speaker 2: light up as that was the food for their day.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Friends.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It's such a rewarding thing, such a rewarding thing. And
- 26:49Speaker 2: to know that, you know, we were looking to help
- 26:52Speaker 2: seven hundred and twenty kids initially, we have now helped
- 26:54Speaker 2: nine hundred and one.
- 26:56Speaker 3: We need ninety.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Nine people to say, Okay, I'll take care of one
- 27:00Speaker 2: or two kids, and your gift of seventy five dollars
- 27:04Speaker 2: will provide seven hundred and thirty meals. Think about that,
- 27:07Speaker 2: talk about return on your investment. Seventy five dollars seven
- 27:11Speaker 2: hundred and thirty meals. So if you do two kids
- 27:15Speaker 2: at one hundred and fifty, that's fourteen hundred and sixty
- 27:18Speaker 2: meals that you're providing for the next year. Eight one
- 27:20Speaker 2: time gift one hundred and fifty dollars fourteen hundred meals
- 27:23Speaker 2: come on eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 27:27Speaker 2: seven three eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 27:29Speaker 2: seven three. You're gonna make a difference and it's gonna
- 27:32Speaker 2: really change a kid's life. Eight five five nine zero
- 27:35Speaker 2: seven four six seven three eight five five nine zero
- 27:38Speaker 2: seven four six seven three. Give online at that Kevinshow
- 27:41Speaker 2: dot com. Click the Food for the Poor banner at
- 27:43Speaker 2: the top of the page. Be as generous as you can,
- 27:45Speaker 2: because every dollar you give is going to be matched
- 27:47Speaker 2: if you give it right now. Eight five five nine
- 27:49Speaker 2: zero seven, four six seven three.
- 28:08Speaker 10: Here he is from New York, That Kevin Kevin McCullough,
- 28:16Speaker 10: Welcome back.
- 28:16Speaker 2: It's the Monday edition of That Kevin Show, That Kevinshow
- 28:19Speaker 2: dot Com and all things associated with it, including the podcast,
- 28:23Speaker 2: which we also house at Salempodcastnetwork dot com. But grateful
- 28:27Speaker 2: for those of you that join us every day four
- 28:30Speaker 2: hundred and nineteen cities nationwide now helping us get the
- 28:33Speaker 2: word out.
- 28:34Speaker 3: We're so grateful.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Every Monday we take a look at how to protect
- 28:36Speaker 2: your money a little bit better, and recently the stock
- 28:40Speaker 2: indexes and how gold and silver are performing have been
- 28:44Speaker 2: being compared by my next guest, David Fisher, of Landmark
- 28:48Speaker 2: Capital and David. Last week, the Federal Reserve nominee Kevin
- 28:52Speaker 2: Warsh spoke before the Senate gave us testimony. Is there
- 28:56Speaker 2: anything he said that would be a major change if
- 28:59Speaker 2: he gets if his appointment gets approved, Well, I think so.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I've always said Kevin that in the last year that
- 29:06Speaker 5: the FED is not going to be able to get
- 29:08Speaker 5: to their target level of inflation, which is two percent,
- 29:13Speaker 5: and that's one of their mandates, price stabilization. The other
- 29:17Speaker 5: one is maximum employment. So we're having employment issues. We'll
- 29:21Speaker 5: talk about that in a second. But he wants to
- 29:24Speaker 5: revamp two things. One how the FED collects the data
- 29:29Speaker 5: on you know, do we have inflation or not? And
- 29:31Speaker 5: there's been a lot of contentions in the past on
- 29:35Speaker 5: you know, are we getting the right data. Obviously we've
- 29:39Speaker 5: had inflation, but Warsh wants to revamp this, and I
- 29:43Speaker 5: think he's going to move the goal post. I think
- 29:47Speaker 5: Warsh has said he's valued to introduce regime change confirm
- 29:52Speaker 5: including on how the measures are, where inflation is conducted,
- 29:57Speaker 5: which and also communicating policy he wants to create. He says,
- 30:03Speaker 5: I'm promising a new inflation framework, is what he calls it.
- 30:07Speaker 5: So that's moving the goal post because they can't get
- 30:10Speaker 5: to two percent, which means.
- 30:11Speaker 6: They're just more illusion of really the dollar devaluing.
- 30:14Speaker 5: But the other thing is the FED balance sheet has
- 30:17Speaker 5: just blown up how much the FED has bought in
- 30:19Speaker 5: government debt, which is in two thousand and eight we
- 30:22Speaker 5: had eight hundred and eighty billion dollars. By twenty twenty
- 30:26Speaker 5: two it reached nine pointy three trillion, and we're currently
- 30:29Speaker 5: at six point seven trillion. So this is, you know,
- 30:32Speaker 5: the quantitative easing and quantity of easing devalues the currency.
- 30:35Speaker 5: We're currently purchasing the Fed forty billion dollars a month.
- 30:39Speaker 5: What does this mean in simple terms, simply this, Kevin,
- 30:43Speaker 5: the FED has to support the massive overspending of our country,
- 30:48Speaker 5: and they're back at it again called quantitative easing, and
- 30:52Speaker 5: which means when they do this, we have a bull
- 30:54Speaker 5: market in gold and in silver. But it also means
- 30:57Speaker 5: the dollar is going to devalue. So that's why we're
- 30:59Speaker 5: going to see once we get past the war, we
- 31:02Speaker 5: have this in place, and they're going to move the
- 31:04Speaker 5: gold post, probably lower interest rates. We're going to see
- 31:08Speaker 5: a massive rally in gold and silver. Equities are going
- 31:10Speaker 5: to rally too. But you know, historically, like we talked
- 31:13Speaker 5: about on your program, equities don't rally at the same
- 31:17Speaker 5: level of gold and silver. Gold and silver outperforms equities
- 31:20Speaker 5: usually about a three to one ratio when we have
- 31:22Speaker 5: both bull markets going on in equities of gold and silver.
- 31:26Speaker 5: You know, as of this week, over ninety two thousand
- 31:28Speaker 5: workers have been laid off so far.
- 31:30Speaker 6: That was last week.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Last week twenty thousand job cuts by Meta and Microsoft combined,
- 31:39Speaker 5: fifty thousand for Volkswagen, thirty thousand for UPS Oracle thirty thousand.
- 31:44Speaker 5: This is just last week, Amazon sixteen thousand. I can
- 31:47Speaker 5: keep going on. Even we're seeing layouts at Nike Verizon.
- 31:52Speaker 5: The CEO is saying this is all AI related and
- 31:55Speaker 5: he predicts another twenty to thirty percent of unemployment will
- 31:59Speaker 5: happen next in the job market in the next two.
- 32:01Speaker 6: To five years.
- 32:02Speaker 5: So I talked about this on your program before that
- 32:05Speaker 5: this could change the landscape and it could cause massive
- 32:09Speaker 5: problems for the FED.
- 32:10Speaker 6: And here we are at the threshold of that.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Central banks. Let's talk about them for a second. They've
- 32:15Speaker 2: been buying gold like it's air to breathe. How much
- 32:21Speaker 2: over the last few years have they gobbled up Well.
- 32:25Speaker 5: Central banks now own the most amount of gold in
- 32:27Speaker 5: the world, eighteen percent of the gold above ground they own.
- 32:31Speaker 5: It's been a bull market in precious metals and we're
- 32:34Speaker 5: still in the early stages, according to the World Gold Council.
- 32:36Speaker 6: Let's put this in the perspective.
- 32:39Speaker 5: This really started in late twenty twenty four and early
- 32:42Speaker 5: twenty twenty five, where gold started out performing stocks, but
- 32:46Speaker 5: the mandate of the purchases laid the foundation before this,
- 32:50Speaker 5: about three years ahead of time. They started this buying
- 32:53Speaker 5: Binge Kevin in twenty twenty.
- 32:56Speaker 6: They buy gold every year, but they upped their quantity,
- 33:00Speaker 6: increased it significantly.
- 33:02Speaker 5: In twenty twenty they bought two hundred and fifty five tons,
- 33:05Speaker 5: in twenty twenty one four hundred and sixty three tons,
- 33:08Speaker 5: and twenty twenty two, get ready for it, over one
- 33:11Speaker 5: thousand tons, more than double and they're on track. In
- 33:15Speaker 5: twenty twenty three and twenty twenty four they bought more
- 33:18Speaker 5: than one thousand tons there and in twenty twenty five
- 33:22Speaker 5: just shy of one thousand tons. Who knows what they're
- 33:25Speaker 5: going to buy this year, but it's going to be
- 33:27Speaker 5: a lot. So as a result, of this buying bin.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Central banks now own more gold than US treasuries and
- 33:35Speaker 5: that's only happened in the last since nineteen seventy three
- 33:39Speaker 5: seventy four.
- 33:39Speaker 6: So this is a big change.
- 33:41Speaker 5: There is a currency devaluation coming on because the very
- 33:44Speaker 5: evidence that the financial system is shifting in the hard
- 33:48Speaker 5: assets the deepest pockets in the world called central banks.
- 33:51Speaker 5: They're the biggest buyers of gold and they are the
- 33:55Speaker 5: biggest printers of debt of money.
- 33:57Speaker 6: So they see this, that's why they're buying mass amounts
- 33:59Speaker 6: of gold.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, last week you started offering a limited time offer.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Remind us what that is.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Yeah, it's great for a limited I offer for qualified accounts,
- 34:09Speaker 5: you can when you move a portion of your four
- 34:11Speaker 5: to one k or ira or all of it into
- 34:13Speaker 5: physical gold.
- 34:14Speaker 6: And silver at Landmark Capital.
- 34:16Speaker 5: At the time of trade, I will be talking with
- 34:18Speaker 5: you and I'm going to apply a specific dollar amount
- 34:21Speaker 5: discount to your trade. This is off sets any startup costs.

- 34:43Speaker 5: no gimmicks, only benefits, and you know call learn about that.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Why once you want something free, this is a freebie.

- 34:54Speaker 5: physical gold and.
- 34:56Speaker 6: Silver, and a lot of people are doing that because the.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Numbers last year aging gold up sixty four percent, silver
- 35:02Speaker 5: up one hundred and forty eight percent. Once we get
- 35:05Speaker 5: past the war, we're going to see some major moves
- 35:07Speaker 5: in golden silver, so don't miss out.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I agree with that, and it's a limited time so
- 35:11Speaker 2: you need to take advantage of it now.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Eight four four six oh four two five seven five.
- 35:16Speaker 3: I moved my four oh one.

- 36:19Speaker 2: you to David Fisher, Thank you to Mark Hollinbeck for
- 36:24Speaker 2: the first hour here. And we've got an even bigger
- 36:27Speaker 2: hour an hour two. Erica Donald's what I hope to
- 36:31Speaker 2: be is the future first Lady of the State of Florida,
- 36:34Speaker 2: but currently wife of Congressman Byron Donald's and a huge
- 36:38Speaker 2: education advocate with the Educational Freedom Foundation.
- 36:42Speaker 3: She's going to join me.
- 36:43Speaker 2: She's been at the White House Correspondence Association dinners in
- 36:47Speaker 2: the past. She's going to take us kind of behind
- 36:49Speaker 2: the scenes, let us kind of see what it was
- 36:52Speaker 2: like there on Saturday. And I think it's going to
- 36:54Speaker 2: be a really instructive discussion. So I hope you'll stick
- 36:57Speaker 2: around for that. And a little bit later on Hillary
- 36:59Speaker 2: Crane will be here too to talk stocks and to
- 37:01Speaker 2: talk about protecting your money. On this Monday. We are
- 37:05Speaker 2: in interesting times, and with the war and with some
- 37:09Speaker 2: of the other global events going on, and the big
- 37:13Speaker 2: beautiful bill still taking root and kind of settling in,
- 37:17Speaker 2: we are still watching companies struggle a little bit. And
- 37:21Speaker 2: I want to talk to the business owners for just
- 37:23Speaker 2: a second, because I talked to my team earlier today
- 37:28Speaker 2: and I had a very blunt conversation with them, and
- 37:30Speaker 2: I said, guys, businesses are struggling. One of the areas
- 37:34Speaker 2: that they that they are having a hard time with
- 37:36Speaker 2: is getting their message out, getting their marketing out, and
- 37:39Speaker 2: they're they're having a hard time looking for responsive audiences.
- 37:43Speaker 2: And I have the best audience in the world. You
- 37:46Speaker 2: guys have already responded to helping more than two hundred
- 37:50Speaker 2: additional children than what our goal was this year for food.
- 37:53Speaker 3: For the poor.
- 37:54Speaker 2: And you're you're, you're, you're just always so responsive to
- 37:58Speaker 2: everything I ask you to respond to. So I want
- 38:01Speaker 2: to do something for you. It's called kevcres and for
- 38:05Speaker 2: the month of May, I just want to make this
- 38:07Speaker 2: all about helping business owners reach audiences with their message
- 38:13Speaker 2: to be able to help their businesses grow and with kevcres.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Here's how it works.
- 38:18Speaker 2: You send us an email that kevinshow at gmail dot com.
- 38:22Speaker 2: You put kevcres in the subject line. If you put
- 38:25Speaker 2: keV k ev cares kevcares in the subject line, You're
- 38:29Speaker 2: going to be followed up with by people on my
- 38:32Speaker 2: team that care about you, that are going to offer
- 38:34Speaker 2: you deeply discounted, but strategically unique options to help you

- 42:03Speaker 4: way grateful that is not who he used to be here, all.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Right, welcome back in.
- 42:13Speaker 2: It's that Kevin show, that kevinshow dot Com. Always glad
- 42:17Speaker 2: to have you with us, and very very thankful that
- 42:20Speaker 2: today we have some very very astute secret Service personnel
- 42:26Speaker 2: and others that helped stop a very chaotic situation before
- 42:31Speaker 2: it really unfolded in Washington over the weekend. I do
- 42:34Speaker 2: have some bones to pick though with how everything was there,
- 42:38Speaker 2: because as I've thought about, and you know, reflected on
- 42:41Speaker 2: and observed some of the coverage and so forth, there
- 42:44Speaker 2: there are obviously some some problems here, and there are
- 42:51Speaker 2: stories that should normally shake a nation awake out of
- 42:53Speaker 2: its slumber, and then there are stories that reveal just
- 42:56Speaker 2: how deeply asleep we've already become. This weekend we saw both.
- 43:00Speaker 2: According to Fox News, the Hilton Hotel, a venue that
- 43:03Speaker 2: has hosted the high profile White House Correspondence Association dinner
- 43:08Speaker 2: for years, was operating kind of largely as it always does,
- 43:13Speaker 2: open to the public. Regular guests were coming and going.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Security focused primarily on the ballroom where the event was held,
- 43:21Speaker 2: not the broader facility. That's just the standard operating procedure,
- 43:27Speaker 2: and let that sink in with what we've seen, after
- 43:32Speaker 2: all these threats to the president, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, etc.
- 43:38Speaker 2: After Butler, after repeated warnings about lone wolves, we are
- 43:43Speaker 2: still treating high value targets like it's nineteen ninety eight
- 43:46Speaker 2: and I don't know what we're doing. Because the next
- 43:48Speaker 2: part of the story gets worse. Authorities say Cole Allen,
- 43:52Speaker 2: this was the guy that charged the security point, planned
- 43:55Speaker 2: to shoot Trump administration officials. He had direct intent to
- 43:59Speaker 2: carry out a mask casualty attack against government figures and
- 44:02Speaker 2: whoever else might be in the way. This wasn't going
- 44:04Speaker 2: to be a disturbance, It wasn't going to be an
- 44:07Speaker 2: excuse me. This was going to be a slaughter. And yet,
- 44:09Speaker 2: somehow the layers of security that are supposed to anticipate,
- 44:13Speaker 2: deter and neutralized threats were not enough to prevent the
- 44:17Speaker 2: situation from reaching a rather important point of engagement. Reports
- 44:22Speaker 2: indicated that when the agents confronted the suspect, multiple rounds
- 44:26Speaker 2: were fired, none of them struck him. Meanwhile, the suspect
- 44:29Speaker 2: managed to hit a federal agent in the Torso think
- 44:33Speaker 2: about that for a second. Multiple trained officials, multiple trained professionals,
- 44:39Speaker 2: only one target close quarters confrontation, but they couldn't hit
- 44:44Speaker 2: him once and there were multiple security guys shooting at him. Now,
- 44:49Speaker 2: I'm not interested in Monday morning quarterbacking, but I am
- 44:53Speaker 2: interested in talking about the real issues here because reality
- 44:59Speaker 2: is what keeps people all live the next go around.
- 45:01Speaker 2: So we need a dose of reality. So over the weekend,
- 45:05Speaker 2: completely personal anecdote here, my son turned sixteen and I
- 45:09Speaker 2: took him to the gun range for his birthday. That's
- 45:11Speaker 2: what he had asked to do. We took a couple
- 45:13Speaker 2: of his buddies, a couple of dads, two moms went
- 45:16Speaker 2: with us, a group of kids. Most of the adults
- 45:19Speaker 2: had little to know experience with firearms. I have my
- 45:22Speaker 2: firearm license, my wife has hers. We had one other
- 45:26Speaker 2: fella that had experience, but almost everybody else in our
- 45:31Speaker 2: group had never fired a serious weapon before. And this
- 45:36Speaker 2: is one of those indoor ones, so it's very loud,
- 45:42Speaker 2: multiple lanes firing everything from handguns to long guns.
- 45:46Speaker 3: And those two.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Moms that were with us using a little pink camouflaged
- 45:51Speaker 2: glock forty three that we rented from the range, they
- 45:54Speaker 2: put a full magazine each into the center, mass and
- 45:57Speaker 2: head zones of the torsos of of their targets. Now,
- 46:01Speaker 2: they weren't under life and death pressure, so you know,
- 46:05Speaker 2: it's not really comparable. But in a chaotic and loud
- 46:08Speaker 2: environment with minimal training, they emptied twenty shots and hit
- 46:12Speaker 2: the torso every single time. So here's what I want
- 46:15Speaker 2: to know, and I think it's a fair question. How
- 46:18Speaker 2: do train professionals miss entirely while taking fire from a
- 46:22Speaker 2: target that's obviously shooting at you. I think that question
- 46:25Speaker 2: deserves an answer, not because I'm looking to blame people,
- 46:29Speaker 2: but I think we should be better than that. Next time,
- 46:32Speaker 2: the stakes could be higher. And here's what makes the
- 46:34Speaker 2: whole thing even a bit more jarring. Despite the miss,
- 46:38Speaker 2: in the moment, law enforcement moved quickly to secure the suspects,
- 46:42Speaker 2: residents in Torrance, California, on the other side of the country.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Within minutes, we had details about his background, his interests,
- 46:51Speaker 2: his habits, where he'd been, how he was recognized as
- 46:54Speaker 2: teacher of the month. But during the moment that mattered,
- 46:57Speaker 2: most system didn't seem to work. And that's the uncomfortable
- 47:02Speaker 2: truth I feel like we have to face. We are
- 47:05Speaker 2: as a nation becoming dangerously reactive and insufficiently proactive. We wait,
- 47:10Speaker 2: we respond, we investigate, we explain, but we didn't prevent
- 47:15Speaker 2: at the level that we should be. So here you
- 47:18Speaker 2: had two scenes, one city, one nation. On one hand,
- 47:22Speaker 2: it would be mass shooter targeting leaders. On the other hand,
- 47:24Speaker 2: citizens calling for the country to go back to its foundation,
- 47:27Speaker 2: the Bible. Which one got more attention? Well, I don't
- 47:31Speaker 2: think that. I don't think that's a big mystery. I
- 47:35Speaker 2: don't even necessarily disagree with it. On the other hand,
- 47:38Speaker 2: there is a bit of a problem. It's bigger than
- 47:43Speaker 2: one suspect or one security failure. What we're dealing with
- 47:47Speaker 2: is a cultural fracture that is no longer subtle. We
- 47:51Speaker 2: have political voices that are increasingly comfortable appearing alongside rhetoric
- 47:56Speaker 2: that openly calls for violence. Just days ago, a prominent
- 47:59Speaker 2: podca cast hosts declared that capitalists should be killed and
- 48:03Speaker 2: the streets should run with their red blood. That's Hassan Piker.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Every Democrat in the country is trying to get on
- 48:10Speaker 2: this podcast. That's not fringe, that's getting actual airtime. And
- 48:15Speaker 2: polling has shown that the disturbing percentage of Americans, particularly
- 48:19Speaker 2: on the political left now believe violence can be justified
- 48:21Speaker 2: as a means to achieve political ends. That's not a disagreement,
- 48:26Speaker 2: that's destabilization. When society begins to flirt with the idea
- 48:31Speaker 2: that violence is acceptable and twenty six percent of Democrats
- 48:34Speaker 2: do for political outcomes, it is no longer operating within
- 48:38Speaker 2: the framework that built it. It is actively eroding it
- 48:41Speaker 2: or cannibalizing it.
- 48:43Speaker 3: And that brings me.
- 48:44Speaker 2: That brings us back to the moment that we're in,
- 48:47Speaker 2: because there are those in this country who no longer
- 48:49Speaker 2: want who no longer want to live within the American
- 48:51Speaker 2: constructor idea. They want to debate it, they want to
- 48:54Speaker 2: delete it, they want to tear it down. They don't
- 48:57Speaker 2: want to reform it, they want to replace it. And
- 48:59Speaker 2: when that desire meets frustration, anger, and a breakdown of
- 49:03Speaker 2: moral boundaries, that's what we get this weekend. That's not
- 49:06Speaker 2: a comfortable thought, but it's the real one. We are
- 49:09Speaker 2: living in a time where the majority still believes in
- 49:11Speaker 2: the country, still wants order, still wants peace, and yet
- 49:15Speaker 2: is increasingly forced to confront those who do not want it.
- 49:20Speaker 2: That's humbling and dangerous, because being right does not make
- 49:24Speaker 2: you safe.
- 49:25Speaker 3: And having the.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Better argument doesn't stop someone who has abandoned arguments altogether,
- 49:29Speaker 2: which is why this moment requires more than policy. We
- 49:32Speaker 2: need clarity, We need courage.
- 49:34Speaker 3: We need a.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Return to moral foundations that made the nation possible in
- 49:38Speaker 2: the first place. Because systems fail, security falters, people make mistakes,
- 49:44Speaker 2: but we need to be a nation that's grounded in truth,
- 49:46Speaker 2: real truth, and that kind of nation has something to
- 49:49Speaker 2: recover with. A nation that abandons truth has nothing to
- 49:53Speaker 2: stand on when things fall apart. So here we are warnings, ignored,
- 49:57Speaker 2: threats escalating, systems strained, and yet in the middle of it,
- 50:00Speaker 2: but voices still rising, calling the country back to what
- 50:02Speaker 2: it was meant to be. The question is not whether
- 50:05Speaker 2: the danger is real. That is the question is whether
- 50:09Speaker 2: we will wake up in time to remember who we are,
- 50:11Speaker 2: because if we don't, if we continue to sleep walk
- 50:14Speaker 2: through moments like this, then one day we will look
- 50:17Speaker 2: around and realize something far more dangerous than a single
- 50:20Speaker 2: failed security perimeter has been breached, and that idea will
- 50:24Speaker 2: be America itself. And we don't want to see that.
- 50:28Speaker 2: We want to preserve her, We want to keep her
- 50:30Speaker 2: well guarded into the future. Kevin McCullough. It's a big
- 50:34Speaker 2: hour on that Kevin Show. Coming up next the future
- 50:37Speaker 2: First Lady of Florida, or so I.
- 50:39Speaker 11: Wish here he is from New York exact.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Kevin McCullough.
- 51:06Speaker 2: All right, welcome back. It's the Monday edition That Kevin Show.
- 51:09Speaker 2: That kevinshow dot com for all things related, including the
- 51:12Speaker 2: podcast where you can really re listen to any of
- 51:14Speaker 2: today's conversations. Joining me now is the head of the
- 51:18Speaker 2: Educational Education Freedom Foundation, Erica Donalds, who is also the
- 51:24Speaker 2: wife of Congressman Byron Donalds, and I hope will be
- 51:28Speaker 2: the next First Lady of the Sunshine State. And she's
- 51:31Speaker 2: also working with the America First Policy Institute, doing a
- 51:35Speaker 2: great job there on the education front as well. Erica,
- 51:37Speaker 2: it's always good to talk to you, and I'm sorry
- 51:40Speaker 2: it's under these circumstances. But when you see what happened
- 51:44Speaker 2: in Washington on Saturday night and you watch it unfold
- 51:48Speaker 2: and then we begin to learn things in the aftermath later,
- 51:51Speaker 2: I'm just curious. You have so many hats that you wear.
- 51:55Speaker 2: You're an educator, so you care about kids, and you're
- 51:57Speaker 2: a mom, so you care about your kids. You're a wife,
- 52:00Speaker 2: married to a public figure. You care about him, you
- 52:03Speaker 2: care about the welfare of the country, and you know
- 52:06Speaker 2: that as a conservative, things are happening to us that
- 52:09Speaker 2: they have not happened like in many, many years. Your
- 52:13Speaker 2: thoughts on this Monday after Yeah.
- 52:15Speaker 12: It was extremely scary and harrowing what happened on Saturday night.
- 52:19Speaker 12: Of course, we've been to that event in the past,
- 52:22Speaker 12: and so.
- 52:23Speaker 1: It really hits home.
- 52:24Speaker 12: And we've seen this repetitive pattern of violence from the
- 52:28Speaker 12: left against the right, especially against Donald Trump in this case,
- 52:33Speaker 12: against his cabinet members as well. It's absolutely unacceptable. It's
- 52:37Speaker 12: not who we are as Americans, and we've got to
- 52:39Speaker 12: get back to debating ideas peacefully and not promoting this
- 52:46Speaker 12: type of violent rhetoric that allows psycles like this what
- 52:51Speaker 12: they believe is a mandate to go out and commit
- 52:54Speaker 12: violence or try to commit violence, especially against conservatives.
- 52:57Speaker 2: And before people start getting too auchi about out Erica's
- 53:01Speaker 2: description as a mandate, let me just tell you the
- 53:03Speaker 2: latest polling on this shows that twenty six percent, fully
- 53:07Speaker 2: one fourth of Democrats have said in public polling, meaning
- 53:12Speaker 2: that the polster asked them and they agreed that violence
- 53:16Speaker 2: is a means to political ends. Less than five percent
- 53:21Speaker 2: of Republicans believe the same Erica. That's a disturbing number
- 53:25Speaker 2: because it doesn't. As we've seen, it doesn't take very
- 53:28Speaker 2: many people to believe in violence in order for it
- 53:31Speaker 2: to happen. Consider two attempts on the President's life, the
- 53:36Speaker 2: assassination of Charlie Kirk and now a third, you know,
- 53:40Speaker 2: kind of what I have been describing as a potential
- 53:42Speaker 2: mass shooting, because the guy evidently wanted to just go
- 53:44Speaker 2: in and just blast people out of their chairs in
- 53:47Speaker 2: the dining room. It is disturbing, and it is is not,
- 53:52Speaker 2: as Chuck Schumer said yesterday, both sides. Now this is
- 53:55Speaker 2: one side coming to the other.
- 53:56Speaker 12: Absolutely. We're seeing that as a pattern, of course, with
- 54:00Speaker 12: Charlie's assassin as well, and with President Trump's previous attempted assassins.
- 54:07Speaker 12: And what I want to see from the other side
- 54:11Speaker 12: is a recognition of what this rhetoric has done to
- 54:15Speaker 12: people who are already radicalized, given them they believe permission
- 54:20Speaker 12: to carry out violence in the name of the cause.
- 54:24Speaker 12: To your point, calling Trump hitler for years and a
- 54:28Speaker 12: dictator and a pedophile and a rapist, all the things
- 54:31Speaker 12: that they say about him, makes these crazy people feel
- 54:36Speaker 12: justified in committing this violence. So we have to stop
- 54:41Speaker 12: this rhetoric. And I think that Democrats need to come
- 54:44Speaker 12: out and condemn in the strongest of terms any violence
- 54:49Speaker 12: in reaction to that kind of rhetoric.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't heard that personally, so I'm not saying
- 54:53Speaker 2: it hasn't happened, but I have not heard it personally
- 54:56Speaker 2: in the forty eight hours since the shooting, and I
- 54:58Speaker 2: have seen Chuck and Hakim Jeffreys come out and try
- 55:02Speaker 2: to say this is a both and problem, which is
- 55:05Speaker 2: just an increasingly tiring response to this, because anybody with
- 55:09Speaker 2: a common sense brain in their head can see the difference.
- 55:13Speaker 2: And there's a tolerance in some of these kind of
- 55:16Speaker 2: institutions that seems to put up with this stuff that
- 55:18Speaker 2: I just think, while I say this in my monologue,
- 55:21Speaker 2: there was a time when you didn't use the term
- 55:23Speaker 2: rapist in mixed company. You didn't say the word pedophile
- 55:28Speaker 2: like it was a lollipop. Like what you talked about
- 55:31Speaker 2: when you talked about those topics, it was serious and sober,
- 55:35Speaker 2: and if somebody was accused of those things, there was
- 55:39Speaker 2: evidence and proof of it, or you did not say it,
- 55:43Speaker 2: whether it was for fear of backlash or not, but
- 55:45Speaker 2: it was something that proper culture just didn't give face to.
- 55:49Speaker 2: And I was totally with the President and how he
- 55:51Speaker 2: got kind of ticked off with Laurel o'donald last night.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Lore o'donald completely agree.
- 55:55Speaker 12: And the First Lady, Milania Trump, came out this morning
- 55:59Speaker 12: saying that Jimmy Kimmel should be held accountable for that
- 56:03Speaker 12: rhetoric and that ABC needs to finally take a stand
- 56:07Speaker 12: and stop enabling this atrocious behavior. Enough is enough, she said,
- 56:13Speaker 12: So good for her for coming out about that and
- 56:16Speaker 12: taking a stand, But to your point, I also have
- 56:19Speaker 12: not heard anyone from the other side come out and condemn.
- 56:23Speaker 12: And unfortunately, this is a repeat of what we saw
- 56:26Speaker 12: after Charlie Kirk's unfortunate assassination, where they made excuses for
- 56:33Speaker 12: the rhetoric that is happening and for the violence and
- 56:36Speaker 12: for the celebration of that violence. And we're seeing in
- 56:39Speaker 12: some cases some celebration, even here in Sarasota, Florida, where
- 56:43Speaker 12: they said that they wish they were waking up to
- 56:46Speaker 12: an obituary instead of the reporting that it was a
- 56:50Speaker 12: failed attempt. They need to condemn all of it or
- 56:55Speaker 12: else blood will be on their hands if this continues.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Well Son Piker, who seems to be the one podcast
- 57:02Speaker 2: that everybody on the left can't get in line fast
- 57:05Speaker 2: enough to get on his show, and he said last week,
- 57:07Speaker 2: let all the capitalist blood run red in the streets.
- 57:10Speaker 2: There's a difference in the mindset. I want to ask
- 57:12Speaker 2: you a little bit more personal, though, Erica, because you
- 57:15Speaker 2: and I kind of know each other from doing so
- 57:18Speaker 2: many of these and you could very well be the
- 57:22Speaker 2: future first Lady of Florida. And I'm just going to
- 57:24Speaker 2: say this publicly, you could very well be the future
- 57:27Speaker 2: first lady of the country at some point in the future.
- 57:30Speaker 3: When you see what's going on.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Is there ever a piece of you that wants to
- 57:35Speaker 2: put your arm around your husband and say, hey, you know,
- 57:38Speaker 2: we can go do this education stuff all day long.
- 57:41Speaker 2: I mean, how do you as a mom and as
- 57:43Speaker 2: a wife, and as someone who deeply cares from a
- 57:46Speaker 2: faithful perspective, because you're a woman of faith.
- 57:49Speaker 3: You know what.
- 57:52Speaker 2: The stuff that you guys have done with your whole
- 57:54Speaker 2: life in terms of serving the public, does it scare
- 57:57Speaker 2: good people away?
- 57:58Speaker 12: Yeah, well, it certainly scares good people away. It is
- 58:01Speaker 12: one of the reasons why it's very difficult to get
- 58:03Speaker 12: good people to leave their private lives and come into
- 58:07Speaker 12: public service. I think for us, it resonated with me
- 58:12Speaker 12: what the President said the other night after the incident,
- 58:15Speaker 12: that they only come after you when you're making a difference.
- 58:18Speaker 12: And that's true. That's why they're after him, because he's
- 58:21Speaker 12: a transformational leader for this country and that's what we
- 58:25Speaker 12: hope to be and we have to do what God
- 58:27Speaker 12: has called us to do. I am constantly praying for
- 58:30Speaker 12: my husband and for all everyone who is in public
- 58:34Speaker 12: service for their safety and had your protection around him
- 58:37Speaker 12: and our family. But it is difficult on family members
- 58:40Speaker 12: who see this and think, you know, if you are
- 58:43Speaker 12: making a difference, then you may be at risk.
- 58:45Speaker 13: But we believe in the.
- 58:47Speaker 12: Protection of God and we just continue to pray for
- 58:51Speaker 12: his protection, Byron's protection as he's out there on the
- 58:54Speaker 12: campaign trail and doing what he's called to do. And
- 58:57Speaker 12: we covet the prayers of believers around the country who
- 59:00Speaker 12: pray for us as well well.
- 59:02Speaker 2: I know a lot of people in my audience pray
- 59:04Speaker 2: for you guys, especially Floridians. If there was something that
- 59:09Speaker 2: you observed in the last forty eight hours that you
- 59:12Speaker 2: kind of are taken away. I know that we learned
- 59:14Speaker 2: a lot of things about stuff, you know, Charlie related.
- 59:18Speaker 2: After Charlie, it seemed like that hotel was just not
- 59:22Speaker 2: secured at all. And I'm just curious, are you for
- 59:26Speaker 2: Byron's events? Are you saying, well, we're going to have
- 59:28Speaker 2: two or three more sweeps before we go. I mean,
- 59:31Speaker 2: I just don't know how they didn't have the guy
- 59:32Speaker 2: checks into the hotel two days before the event and
- 59:35Speaker 2: basically has free roam of the place.
- 59:38Speaker 12: Well, interestingly, though, having been to this event, I don't
- 59:41Speaker 12: think that it's portrayed well how far away that checkpoint
- 59:45Speaker 12: was from the actual ballroom. It was actually an entire
- 59:48Speaker 12: floor away. You have to go down the escalators, you
- 59:51Speaker 12: have to go down another hallway where the red carpet
- 59:54Speaker 12: and the pictures are being taken, and then into the ballroom.
- 59:57Speaker 12: So it's a good to say that he was close
- 1:00:00Speaker 12: to the ballroom, meaning he was of course in the
- 1:00:01Speaker 12: same facility. But I think that that checkpoint and the
- 1:00:04Speaker 12: reason why he ran through it instead of going through
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: it was because it would have stopped him with the
- 1:00:11Speaker 12: weapons that he had, and then ultimately did stop him
- 1:00:13Speaker 12: because he tried to run through it and not actually
- 1:00:15Speaker 12: passed through appropriately the security. So I think that's you know,
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: of course, waiting on all the details, but having been there,
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: he did not get close to the president. He did
- 1:00:24Speaker 12: not get close to his target.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: But it is a good reason to have a big,
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: beautiful ballroom at the White.
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: House is a perfect reason, which we fully support for
- 1:00:32Speaker 12: multiple reasons. But I will say this also, this man,
- 1:00:36Speaker 12: from what we can tell, he's very a well educated person.
- 1:00:40Speaker 12: He is not an obority of the system. He is
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: a product of the system, the system that has been
- 1:00:46Speaker 12: run by leftists, by radicals. Their goal is to radicalize
- 1:00:51Speaker 12: our children and our higher education system, and they were successful.
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: And this is the product of the teachers' unions, of
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: the radical leftist ideology that permeates our higher education institutions,
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: especially Caltech. And this is what you get more of
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: when you allow those people to be in charge of
- 1:01:11Speaker 12: these institutions. That's why I'm an advocate for school choice,
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: for education freedom. We should not be forcing parents to
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: send their children to these institutions that are producing this
- 1:01:21Speaker 12: type of animal.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: You're very very tight on time today, Erica. Thank you
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: for checking in with us. We're grateful.
- 1:01:27Speaker 12: Thank you so much for having me and for talking
- 1:01:29Speaker 12: about this.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: You got it. Kevin McCullough, coming right back.
- 1:01:31Speaker 10: Don't go away, stick around for more of Thank Kevin.
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: Next here he is from New York exactly, Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Hey, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Glad have you here, Thank you for being here. I
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: just want to get to a really cool little bit
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: of news. As of this morning when I got my
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: latest report, nine hundred and one children, nine hundred and
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: one children have been fed and given clean drinking water
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: for the coming year through your efforts with Food for
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: the Poor, and we have about five days left on
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: the campaign. That means we are just under one hundred
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: kids away from feeding a thousand children for the coming
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: year two meals a day and clean drinking water all
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: they can drink. We're just under one hundred kids away
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: from reaching that thousandth child. And I would prefer not
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: to leave that thousandth that thousandth child out. Would you
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: be willing to help us? Eight fivey five nine zero
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: seven four six seven three is the number. Eight five
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: five nine zero seven four six seven three. But it
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: has been such a cool experience to watch the numbers
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: of children continue to be helped and now eclipsing the
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: nine hundred child mark because of your generosity. And I
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: just have to say, you know, we can do so
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: much good, but that thousandth child by this coming Friday,
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: it would mean we would need about twenty five kids
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: a day to be sponsored for this week. And if
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: we can do that, then we can get there. Would
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: you be willing to take care of one child? One
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: child is seventy five dollars, two children one hundred and
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: fifty dollars. But here's what happens when you give that
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: gift to my friends at Food for the Poor, They're
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: going to feed that child two meals per day for
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: the coming year and give them all the clean drinking
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: water that they can handle. And this is in countries
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: where they don't have clean sources of drinking water and
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: they don't have enough food. This is a real need
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: being met on a real level that real children are
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: going to be really helped by. And my family's involved.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: We have more than three hundred and eighty other families
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: involved that have all jumped up and said, yeah, we
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: want to be involved. Would you help us? Eight five
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: five nine zero seven four six seven three. Now, these
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: are kids you've if you've been listening in recent weeks,
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: you know that these are kids that you know, outside
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: of this feeding program from Food for the Poor, they
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: will likely die in the next year. These are mothers
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: and fathers who live in third world situations where they
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: don't even have enough money to feed themselves, and usually
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: they have to have their kids, you know, sharing which
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: day they get to eat, rotating who's eating today and
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: who gets to eat tomorrow because of the minimal amount
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: of resources that they have. Friends, you can change all
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: of that. Eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: seven three eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: seven three. I'm just asking if you would, would you
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: be willing to say, Okay, here's one hundred and fifty
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: dollars two kids right now. If there were twelve of
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: you that could do two kids today, and we had
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: twelve that could do two kids tomorrow, and twelve doing
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: two kids the day following that, we could get to
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: one thousand children being helped before the end of the week.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: But that's my goal. That's my goal to do that.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Remaining a part, we need about seventy five hundred dollars.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Will you help us eight five five nine zero seven
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: four six seven three. Maybe you could do a three
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: thousand dollars gift and help a whole bunch of kids.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: The thing that's going to be beneficial is if you
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: give it right now, it's going to be matched dollar
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: for dollar, bite of food for bite of food, child
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: for child eight fy five nine zero seven four six
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: seven three. These are kids that on average will go
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: up to seventy two hours in between anything that looks
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: like an actual meal. If they don't have this, that
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: is not good for their body, That is not good
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: for their immune systems, that is not good for their development.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: It stunts growth in children that should never have their grunt.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Their growth stunted. And we cannot do it without you,
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: So would you just ask yourself right now? Okay, God's
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: been good, I'm going to get a tax rebate. Let
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: me let me portion off one hundred and fifty dollars
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: and help two children get seven hundred and thirty meals
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: each over the course of the next year. And oh,
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: by the way, if you do it right now, that's
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: going to turn into four kids because of the matching challenge.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Eight five five nine zero seven four, six seven three
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: eight five five nine zero seven four six seven three.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: There's also an online giving option. If you want to

- 1:06:54Speaker 2: But I'm just going to tell you my family started
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Feeding Kids with Food for the Poor about twenty five
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: years ago, and we just love this organization. I've traveled
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: to the countries that they work in. I've seen the
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: projects that they do.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: With the kids.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: I've seen the houses that some of us have built
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: to support a family that.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Didn't have one.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I've served food in the feeding system lines, big big,
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: big vats of rice and beans, and I've assembled the
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: bowl and given it to a child and watched their
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: eyes light up as that was the food for their day.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Friends.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: It's such a rewarding thing, such a rewarding thing, and
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: to know that, you know, we were looking to help
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: seven hundred and twenty kids initially, we have now helped
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: nine hundred and one. We need ninety nine people to say, Okay,
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: I'll take care of one or two kids, and your
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: gift of seventy five dollars will provide seven hundred and
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: thirty meals. Think about that, Talk about return on your investment.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Seventy five dollars, seven hundred and thirty meals. So you
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: two kids at one hundred and fifty, that's fourteen hundred
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: and sixty meals that you're providing for the next year.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Eight one time gift, one hundred and fifty dollars, fourteen
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: hundred meals. Come on eight fivey five nine zero seven
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: four six seven three eight five five nine zero seven
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: four six seven three. You're gonna make a difference, and
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: it's gonna really change a kid's life. Eight five five
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: nine zero seven four six seven three eight five five

- 1:08:31Speaker 2: as you can, because every dollar you give is going
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: to be matched if you give it right now. Eight
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: five five nine zero seven four six seven three.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. Exact Kevin mccolla.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: It's Monday on that Kevin Show, that Kevinshow dot com,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: which means it's time to talk about.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: Money and Hillary Kramer's back with us.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: And Hillary, you've just been giving us all kinds of
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: really good tips lately.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: What are you carry in with you today?
- 1:09:18Speaker 14: Well, I wanted to give all of the listeners safer stocks,
- 1:09:23Speaker 14: stocks that will give you a dividend yield for the
- 1:09:26Speaker 14: most part, which is wonderful in this day and age
- 1:09:29Speaker 14: where you can't even get half a percentage point from
- 1:09:31Speaker 14: money that you put in the bank.
- 1:09:33Speaker 13: And stocks that.
- 1:09:34Speaker 14: Have a place and an importance and that are number
- 1:09:37Speaker 14: one in their sector, then you can't go wrong. And
- 1:09:40Speaker 14: the reason I'm doing this is that at any time
- 1:09:43Speaker 14: we could see a downturn in the stock market. I'm
- 1:09:46Speaker 14: still bullish that we are going to end higher at
- 1:09:49Speaker 14: the end of the year than we are right now,
- 1:09:51Speaker 14: but there might.
- 1:09:52Speaker 13: Be volatility in between.
- 1:09:54Speaker 14: So that's why if you're building a portfolio and people
- 1:09:57Speaker 14: ask me all the time, Hillary, what should I buy?
- 1:09:59Speaker 13: What should I buy?
- 1:10:00Speaker 14: I don't want to.
- 1:10:00Speaker 13: Tell all of them.
- 1:10:01Speaker 14: You'll go out there and buy Coherent and Credo and
- 1:10:05Speaker 14: and you know, and and standalone nuclear reactors.
- 1:10:09Speaker 13: And you know, I want to give you some good ones.
- 1:10:11Speaker 14: So J and J. Johnson and Johnson with a dividend
- 1:10:15Speaker 14: yield of two point three percent is just a phenomenal
- 1:10:19Speaker 14: one to own. Johnson Johnson is very strong in immunology,
- 1:10:23Speaker 14: very strong in oncology, very strong in neuroscience. And their
- 1:10:28Speaker 14: R and D beats no one. And they're really a
- 1:10:31Speaker 14: phenomenal company. H the consumer division that was spun off.
- 1:10:35Speaker 14: Fact if anyone here's the expression can view just information.
- 1:10:38Speaker 14: That's the old Johnson Johnson band aids. Okay, so J
- 1:10:42Speaker 14: and J own it. Here's one I've never talked about
- 1:10:46Speaker 14: c M groups. See as in Charlie Emmas and Michael
- 1:10:49Speaker 14: he is an edgar. You have a one point eight
- 1:10:51Speaker 14: percent dividend yield. There's some variables. Sometimes there's an extra
- 1:10:56Speaker 14: dividend that could even at times be as high as
- 1:10:58Speaker 14: four percent. And this is an exchange, just like if
- 1:11:02Speaker 14: the stock exchange. It's an exchange that handles futures and
- 1:11:06Speaker 14: options and indexes and metals and energy and all things
- 1:11:11Speaker 14: that that individual investors have started now on a standard
- 1:11:15Speaker 14: daily basis to invest in. So you really should have
- 1:11:20Speaker 14: some CME group cme.
- 1:11:23Speaker 13: They haven't.
- 1:11:23Speaker 14: They have the monopoly UH for for most of these derivatives,
- 1:11:28Speaker 14: meaning futures and options, and as we know, metals are
- 1:11:32Speaker 14: hotter than ever before. Procter and Gamble PG we've talked about,
- 1:11:36Speaker 14: you know, Pampers and Gelad and Crest and Prel.
- 1:11:41Speaker 13: For example, a Tide.
- 1:11:44Speaker 14: Uh, you have a three percent dividend year dividend yield
- 1:11:47Speaker 14: here and the dividend has increased for one hundred and
- 1:11:52Speaker 14: thirty six consecutive years, consecutive years, So you really want
- 1:11:57Speaker 14: to be in Procter and gam will have some PG.
- 1:12:02Speaker 14: The other thing interesting, I'll tell you a quick story pre.
- 1:12:05Speaker 14: For example, all of my friends who are in the military,
- 1:12:08Speaker 14: I love PREL. I think it's the best ship who
- 1:12:10Speaker 14: It's so wonderful and light and fruity. And my friends
- 1:12:15Speaker 14: in the military they start to like sort of like
- 1:12:18Speaker 14: get tense and like the hair stands up behind their
- 1:12:21Speaker 14: neck when they see my PRE, because in the military
- 1:12:23Speaker 14: they give you PRE. But what that tells me is
- 1:12:26Speaker 14: the Procter and Gamble has the right contracts. You don't
- 1:12:29Speaker 14: want to just be selling to consumers. You want multi
- 1:12:32Speaker 14: billion dollar contracts with governments.
- 1:12:34Speaker 13: And that's what Procter and Gamble has. Let's move on.
- 1:12:37Speaker 14: To Southern Company, the Southern Company, before you start interrupting
- 1:12:40Speaker 14: me and telling me we're out of time because you're
- 1:12:42Speaker 14: a three point one percent give it a neal for
- 1:12:44Speaker 14: this electric utility that serves Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. And
- 1:12:49Speaker 14: Southern has a great natural gas business, wonderful and they're
- 1:12:54Speaker 14: going into nuclear again. A company that has cash flow, low, volatile,
- 1:13:01Speaker 14: and a one that you might want to own just
- 1:13:03Speaker 14: in case we happen to have a recession.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: Well, those are states that are building a lot of
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: data centers too, which means they're gonna they're gonna they're
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: gonna buy electricity, which means Southern's gonna make money off
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: of them.
- 1:13:13Speaker 13: Southern's gonna.
- 1:13:14Speaker 14: You're so smart, really really smart, you know that, Kevin. Yes,
- 1:13:19Speaker 14: especially in Georgia. Those that data centers in Georgia, you know,
- 1:13:23Speaker 14: are are hungry.
- 1:13:25Speaker 13: For electric electricity.
- 1:13:27Speaker 14: Uh. Pepsi co pp adividan yield of three point six percent.
- 1:13:31Speaker 14: I'll take three point six percent even if the stock
- 1:13:34Speaker 14: never goes up.
- 1:13:35Speaker 13: Look three point six take it. What is you know?
- 1:13:38Speaker 13: It's not just pepsi, right, it's free to lay.
- 1:13:40Speaker 14: It's Dorito's, it's Cheetos, it's Quaker Oats, it's Gatorade.
- 1:13:45Speaker 13: We can't keep it up gearid in our house.
- 1:13:47Speaker 14: Now. The stock had went down because people there were
- 1:13:50Speaker 14: investors concerned at the GLP one weight loss drugs and
- 1:13:55Speaker 14: diabetes drugs. We'd stop people people every day, people from Dorito's.
- 1:14:01Speaker 13: But let's be real.
- 1:14:02Speaker 14: You know there's diversification here and PepsiCo isn't going anywhere.
- 1:14:06Speaker 13: Now I have to add this last one. If this
- 1:14:09Speaker 13: is all the time.
- 1:14:10Speaker 14: We have RTX, which is the old Raytheon has a
- 1:14:12Speaker 14: dividend yield of only one point five percent. That's because
- 1:14:15Speaker 14: the stock has risen so much. But it's aerospace and defense.
- 1:14:19Speaker 14: RTX gobbled Upfield, Pratt and Whitney of the old Colins Aerospace,
- 1:14:25Speaker 14: UH and UH Raytheon also has an entire e system, cybersecurity,
- 1:14:33Speaker 14: a lot of satellites, so it's everything from boots on
- 1:14:37Speaker 14: the grounds. But it's really the it's the command communication
- 1:14:41Speaker 14: technology that I really love about RTX. And they have
- 1:14:45Speaker 14: this backlog from all over the world, meaning even if
- 1:14:49Speaker 14: no one ordered anything in the next year, two years,
- 1:14:53Speaker 14: three years, they'd still have production that they need to
- 1:14:56Speaker 14: get off the ground. Okay, let's jump to Chevron.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: Okay, I thought you were going to work them in.
- 1:15:02Speaker 14: You know, the reason is that it's appropriate for what
- 1:15:05Speaker 14: was going on right now with gas prices up. I
- 1:15:07Speaker 14: love that three point eight percent dividend yield. Chevron has
- 1:15:11Speaker 14: they raised their quarterly different dividend. And you know, earlier
- 1:15:15Speaker 14: this year companies had some nice buybacks operates all over
- 1:15:19Speaker 14: the world, everywhere from where they acquired Hess's assets in Guyana,
- 1:15:25Speaker 14: which has world class oil assets. They're strong in the
- 1:15:28Speaker 14: Permian basin. Chevron strong balance sheet, they're upstream, downstream and
- 1:15:35Speaker 14: oh here you got thirty eight years of consecutive dividend
- 1:15:38Speaker 14: increases and that high yield provides returns that you can't
- 1:15:44Speaker 14: you can't give up three point eight percent, but the
- 1:15:47Speaker 14: underlying stock itself of Chevron CVX should be rising.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: All right, Well, let me review very quickly. Chevron is CVX.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: She also mentioned Raytheon which is r t X, PepsiCo,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: which is PEP southern company powering those AI data centers,
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: s O very easy to find, Procter and Gamble another
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: two letter symbol PG. The CME Group is just cme
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: E and Johnson and Johnson where we started j NJ
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: to start, And if you would like to be in
