- 1:00Speaker 4: Juicy Scoop.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. All right, let's get
- 1:06Speaker 2: into it. This news came from some creators that I
- 1:11Speaker 2: follow earlier last night. And it was like from good sources,
- 1:18Speaker 2: Angie from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She is
- 1:22Speaker 2: the Greek girl that said you had high body count
- 1:26Speaker 2: hair and she owns many salons. And she has a
- 1:31Speaker 2: husband named Sean and one daughter, and they've been married
- 1:35Speaker 2: for very long, I think 26 years. And so I
- 1:39Speaker 2: started to see some things pop up last night saying
- 1:43Speaker 2: a very good source said that they are separated and
- 1:47Speaker 2: that allegedly it's because he is having an affair with
- 1:51Speaker 2: one of the stylists at these salons that they have.
- 1:56Speaker 5: I was, you know, didn't, know that it was true
- 1:59Speaker 5: or anything.
- 1:59Speaker 2: But then today, page six did say that, it's an
- 2:05Speaker 2: exclusive through page six, that the Angie Katzenovas, I know
- 2:11Speaker 2: I'm saying her last name wrong, and her husband, Sean,
- 2:14Speaker 2: have separated after, sorry, 27 years of marriage. Now, I
- 2:19Speaker 2: did not have time to add up how many divorces
- 2:24Speaker 2: within the Real Housewife franchise happened.
- 2:27Speaker 5: What this one would be. I think last I checked,
- 2:30Speaker 5: it was 18.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It's got to be up to like 24 by now
- 2:34Speaker 2: with Bronwyn, just from this alone, franchise alone, Bronwyn had
- 2:39Speaker 2: filed for divorce. And now I assume they're getting divorced
- 2:43Speaker 2: as well. Now, for those of you that don't remember,
- 2:47Speaker 2: there was controversy in their marriage, as every marriage. I mean,
- 2:51Speaker 2: we've talked about how when you go and audition for
- 2:55Speaker 2: these shows, They want to know about your life, want
- 3:00Speaker 2: to know that it's intriguing. Anybody that's been married that long,
- 3:03Speaker 2: nobody has a perfect marriage. Everyone's going to have some
- 3:06Speaker 2: type of cracks. And there were rumors that then got
- 3:12Speaker 2: brought up to light through the other cast members about
- 3:15Speaker 2: Sean possibly being gay.
- 3:19Speaker 5: And she took.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Offense to that.
- 3:21Speaker 5: There was no proof to it. It was annoying.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And just because they own hair salons and he, I
- 3:29Speaker 2: think himself was a stylist, doesn't mean he's gay. There
- 3:33Speaker 2: are male hairstylists that do women's hair that are straight.
- 3:37Speaker 2: There was a whole famous movie called Shampoo about this
- 3:41Speaker 2: character that like just slept with all these LA beautiful
- 3:45Speaker 2: women that he did their hair and they just, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 2: and he was straight as could be. Anyway, This news
- 3:52Speaker 2: did break. This is all we really know is that
- 3:54Speaker 2: they're separated. We don't know if it's an affair. We
- 3:56Speaker 2: don't know who this, if anybody cheated on anybody or
- 4:01Speaker 2: if they have just come to the end of their
- 4:03Speaker 2: marriage together. Of course, being on reality TV, it highlights
- 4:09Speaker 2: whatever cracks in the marriage there is.
- 4:11Speaker 3: And it.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Changes the dynamic. The biggest thing is that you're famous.
- 4:17Speaker 2: The biggest thing is that you are not who you
- 4:20Speaker 2: were before you allowed the cameras in. And then with
- 4:24Speaker 2: all of that comes, everyone is on social media, including
- 4:28Speaker 2: your husband, your daughter, and they see all these comments
- 4:33Speaker 2: and it could just be really hard on a marriage.
- 4:36Speaker 2: And it's possible that it wasn't that strong of a
- 4:39Speaker 2: marriage when they started the show. And you never know
- 4:42Speaker 2: when someone goes on this show, whether it's solely to
- 4:46Speaker 2: I think it'll be fun and it'll highlight our business
- 4:49Speaker 2: with the hair. I think they also like teach hairstyling
- 4:53Speaker 2: at these salons that it can, you know, really, and
- 4:58Speaker 2: also just fun to be a famous person and fun to,
- 5:00Speaker 2: you know, do photo shoots and all of this. But
- 5:04Speaker 2: as we see, it can really change a dynamic in
- 5:07Speaker 2: the home and in a marriage. And I remember once,
- 5:12Speaker 2: asking one housewife, I'm not going to say who it was,
- 5:14Speaker 2: who did get divorced after a couple seasons of, and
- 5:17Speaker 2: this was quite a while ago. And I said, I
- 5:20Speaker 2: just have to ask you, you know, when you said
- 5:23Speaker 2: yes to doing the show, did you ever think it
- 5:25Speaker 2: would affect your marriage in a negative way? Where was
- 5:29Speaker 2: your marriage at the time when you accepted being on
- 5:31Speaker 2: the show? And she said, I never thought, I always
- 5:36Speaker 2: knew I'd eventually get divorced. but I thought it would
- 5:39Speaker 2: be further along. I thought I would get divorced like
- 5:43Speaker 2: at 60. I didn't, you know, I just thought, and this, this,
- 5:48Speaker 2: it just, it speeds up something that's already broken. I
- 5:52Speaker 2: don't think that you would get divorced because of the show,
- 5:56Speaker 2: but I think it speeds up something and it certainly
- 5:59Speaker 2: doesn't heal it. Like if there was a crack, it
- 6:01Speaker 2: makes the crack bigger and then the crack spreads apart
- 6:04Speaker 2: and everything falls in like a giant sinkhole. And in
- 6:10Speaker 2: LA and also in LA, giant sinkhole, just like Hollywood,
- 6:13Speaker 2: just go into a giant sinkhole. That can happen. So
- 6:17Speaker 2: I've met Angie. We've had dinner. She's lovely. We've hung out.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So this is sad, but also hopefully a new beginning
- 6:29Speaker 2: and It's a great storyline to be going through a divorce.
- 6:33Speaker 2: It's a great way of another storyline of when you
- 6:37Speaker 2: start dating. It's, they do have a child. I believe
- 6:41Speaker 2: she's like around like 14 or 15 now. That's going
- 6:44Speaker 2: to be really hard. She's an only child. I think
- 6:47Speaker 2: that's even, could be even harder that you don't have
- 6:49Speaker 2: a sibling that you can turn to and go, oh,
- 6:52Speaker 2: these two crazy assholes. Thank God they're fucking getting divorced.
- 6:55Speaker 2: We hate them.
- 6:56Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 6:57Speaker 2: So, and then of course it's all on TV. So,
- 7:01Speaker 2: It'll be interesting. They've been currently filming this whole time.
- 7:04Speaker 2: So will we see when the show starts to air,
- 7:08Speaker 2: will we see them having issues or sharing about things?
- 7:12Speaker 5: Are there fights? Is there moments like that?
- 7:14Speaker 2: With Bronwyn on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 2: they were already having issues. Somebody caught him doing... sending
- 7:23Speaker 2: or looking at nudes of somebody on his phone while
- 7:26Speaker 2: on a plane. Do you imagine you see a Real
- 7:29Speaker 2: Housewives husband on a plane and then you lean over
- 7:31Speaker 2: and see that he's like texting and sending nudes or
- 7:36Speaker 2: something or looking at nudes of another woman while texting
- 7:39Speaker 2: and then you like DM that Real Housewife who you're
- 7:42Speaker 2: a fan of and you're like, hate to break it
- 7:43Speaker 2: to you, but your husband literally on a plane, like
- 7:47Speaker 2: where you can like read someone's text. Crazy. So, Bronwyn
- 7:53Speaker 2: is doing amazing though, her castmate. She's been dating this
- 7:57Speaker 2: guy for a while. He's like a 36-year-old model. She's
- 8:00Speaker 2: getting divorced. She is the winner and nobody liked her husband. Now,
- 8:05Speaker 2: Sean seemed always really nice and respectful. So hopefully this
- 8:09Speaker 2: marriage can stay nice and respectful. This divorce, I mean,
- 8:12Speaker 2: because over in Beverly Hills, the divorce is not going
- 8:17Speaker 2: so well. It's not Beverly Hills. The real house is
- 8:19Speaker 2: Beverly Hills. It's Encino. PK is really letting this get
- 8:25Speaker 2: out there. It's another exclusive from TMZ where PK has
- 8:30Speaker 2: called out Dorit over the child's passports fiasco. Last time
- 8:34Speaker 2: we discussed it, he was... put it out there and
- 8:38Speaker 2: ask the judge, could I have the sole responsibility of
- 8:41Speaker 2: selling this Encino house that we cannot afford anymore? Can
- 8:45Speaker 2: we not push off this sale anymore? We need to
- 8:50Speaker 2: sell it so it doesn't go in foreclosure because if
- 8:52Speaker 2: we sell it privately now, there'll still be some profit
- 8:56Speaker 2: that we can split. But if it keeps going... going
- 8:59Speaker 2: to go into foreclosure and we're going to be screwed.
- 9:01Speaker 2: And she keeps putting off the sale because she was
- 9:04Speaker 2: traveling in Europe for her birthday where he said she,
- 9:08Speaker 2: you know, wasn't with the children. The children didn't know
- 9:10Speaker 2: where she was. Yeah, right.
- 9:12Speaker 5: They were in Florida with her parents.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Well, He said that he has asked the court, letting
- 9:20Speaker 2: the court know that he had asked Dorit to make
- 9:24Speaker 2: sure that the kids' passports were up to date because
- 9:28Speaker 2: he is English and he wants to take the kids
- 9:31Speaker 2: to England when it's his time later in the summer.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And he just found out they are both expired. So
- 9:38Speaker 2: now he cannot travel to Europe with the kids.
- 9:42Speaker 3: So.
- 9:43Speaker 2: He's furious. His story is that it was her responsibility
- 9:47Speaker 2: and that she knew she had to take care of this.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I'm guessing renewing someone's passport to someone like Dorit is
- 9:55Speaker 2: a big pain in the ass.
- 9:57Speaker 5: And was it done on purpose? I don't know but
- 10:03Speaker 5: she certainly.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Knows how to update a passport she said she was
- 10:06Speaker 2: a child of How did she say it? She was like,
- 10:09Speaker 2: I was a worldwide traveler. I was a child of
- 10:11Speaker 2: the world or something. I traveled so much. I speak
- 10:14Speaker 2: four languages. She of all people would know to check
- 10:17Speaker 2: the kids' passports. So I believe, even though it's a
- 10:22Speaker 2: little bit of a pain in the ass, she knows
- 10:24Speaker 2: how to do it. Being a world traveler, it's something
- 10:27Speaker 2: that she'd be checking. But because she didn't have any
- 10:31Speaker 2: international plans with her kids, maybe she did let it expire.
- 10:35Speaker 2: And you know what? This is what happens when divorces
- 10:39Speaker 2: get ugly. And Doreen even said to Kyle, like, really, Kyle,
- 10:44Speaker 2: you're going to say that about how much money I
- 10:47Speaker 2: should be spending at Love Shack. I certainly can spend $ 4, 000
- 10:51Speaker 2: on dresses and it's none of your business. And I
- 10:55Speaker 2: really hope that you and Mauricio, I hope that your
- 10:57Speaker 2: divorce stays nice forever because mine certainly hasn't.
- 11:03Speaker 5: And it has not.
- 11:06Speaker 2: You know, and I think sometimes things start out nice
- 11:10Speaker 2: and then they don't. And then you're like, oh, fuck
- 11:14Speaker 2: you for not paying that mortgage and making me move
- 11:16Speaker 2: out of Encino. All your plans with your family and
- 11:20Speaker 2: your relatives involving the kids.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Guess what?
- 11:23Speaker 5: I didn't renew the passports.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Whoops.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 11:26Speaker 5: I was too stressed trying to pay the mortgage that
- 11:28Speaker 5: you didn't pay.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Um, speaking of which Mauricio was seen making out with
- 11:35Speaker 2: a very attractive young girl appeared in a bikini somewhere
- 11:40Speaker 2: in Europe, just, just kissing on like a little doc thing.
- 11:45Speaker 3: And so he's having the time of his life.
- 11:47Speaker 2: They're still not divorced. He's doing special forces with, um, Alexia.
- 11:53Speaker 2: They're going to go do that show together. He's sick
- 11:55Speaker 2: of doing real estate. He's like, let me be a star.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Let me make out with these girls. It's all good.
- 12:03Speaker 2: he's not taking listings. He's the face of the agency.
- 12:06Speaker 2: He's set up this thing perfectly. The fame of being
- 12:09Speaker 2: married to Kyle and being on The Housewives got him
- 12:12Speaker 2: this real estate thing that's going on, and they're still
- 12:17Speaker 2: not divorced, but Kyle has been sober four years, and
- 12:19Speaker 2: she celebrated that. Taylor Frankie Paul over at Secret Lives
- 12:24Speaker 2: of Immortant Wives, her whole situation with her kids is
- 12:28Speaker 2: just horrible, and every... She's posting several times a day.
- 12:34Speaker 2: People report on it. She has a huge following. And
- 12:39Speaker 2: the discussion is, should she not share this with her
- 12:44Speaker 2: fighting with her two baby daddies?
- 12:47Speaker 5: And now there's a.
- 12:51Speaker 2: CPS or whatever the name is for CPS, Child Protection Services.
- 12:54Speaker 5: There was a report on that.
- 12:56Speaker 2: That said, that they were disturbed that her eight-year-old daughter
- 13:02Speaker 2: was changing the two-year-old's diaper and that it shouldn't be
- 13:07Speaker 2: on the eight-year-old to do that.
- 13:09Speaker 5: I disagree. I think.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Kids that age can help with their siblings. It's not
- 13:16Speaker 2: like she's left alone with the child for eight hours.
- 13:19Speaker 2: You know, it's just like, sure, she could change a diaper.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I don't know. So.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Taylor felt she had to come on and explain that
- 13:28Speaker 2: that is not something that happens all the time, that
- 13:30Speaker 2: the eight-year-old wants to help. And it's just so gross
- 13:33Speaker 2: that we know that there was a CPS report made
- 13:37Speaker 2: and that we know all this. And it's just like.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I get it. She's like, I am going to respond.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I feel that I have this platform and I'm going
- 13:48Speaker 2: to share this journey of fighting with my exes about
- 13:53Speaker 2: my kids and all that's going on with me and
- 13:57Speaker 2: my mental health and exchanges and all of this. I'm
- 14:01Speaker 2: going to share it all in this journey so that
- 14:04Speaker 2: I can help others.
- 14:06Speaker 5: And I feel, I definitely think you should tell your story.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I think it would be healthier for you and the
- 14:14Speaker 2: kids if you did all these videos and you journaled
- 14:21Speaker 2: it or filmed it or whatever, or you know what
- 14:25Speaker 2: she should do? She should go offline right now and
- 14:30Speaker 2: she should record all of this, film it and podcast
- 14:34Speaker 2: it with a podcast mic in case she doesn't want
- 14:36Speaker 2: to use the film and just do a podcast and
- 14:40Speaker 2: do dates and times and what she's feeling and what
- 14:44Speaker 2: just happened and do it all herself and don't put
- 14:47Speaker 2: it out in real time. That's what I think she
- 14:49Speaker 2: should do because then she can edit it. She can
- 14:52Speaker 2: decide what she wants to share, what she doesn't. If
- 14:55Speaker 2: she wants to really actually write a bestselling book that
- 15:00Speaker 2: we don't know the truth because we haven't seen it
- 15:03Speaker 2: all happen online and therefore we don't need to buy
- 15:05Speaker 2: the book or we don't need to listen to the podcast.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I understand she makes a lot of money off of
- 15:09Speaker 2: social media, but I just think if she just didn't
- 15:14Speaker 2: post it, you know, maybe after each day before she
- 15:18Speaker 2: went to bed, she journaled or talked into a podcast bank.
- 15:22Speaker 2: And then those times that she is with her kids
- 15:25Speaker 2: or those times when she's not with her kids, she
- 15:28Speaker 2: is not overwhelmed with it. You know, she's taking care
- 15:32Speaker 2: of herself. She's working on other things. She can still
- 15:35Speaker 2: tell her side. I just don't know that we have
- 15:37Speaker 2: to hear her side while it's happening. I don't think
- 15:39Speaker 2: that's the best situation for her or her kids. And
- 15:42Speaker 2: that's just my personal opinion. I don't need to report
- 15:46Speaker 2: on this anymore. Season 20 of Real Housewives of OC
- 15:50Speaker 2: came out. And I was inspired to do a very well-received,
- 15:56Speaker 2: funny video. So please go to my Instagram, go to
- 15:59Speaker 2: my TikTok. It's the Shadabdor School of Acting. because I
- 16:05Speaker 2: feel it's a lot of acting. It's a lot of goofy, whoa, pratfalls.
- 16:09Speaker 2: They go to this bungee jumping exercise class. Shanna Bedore does. Listen,
- 16:15Speaker 2: maybe the producers did it knowing that they'd get a laugh.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I think she upped it a little because it's like
- 16:20Speaker 2: this weird, you know what it looks like? It doesn't
- 16:22Speaker 2: look like you're getting, it looks fun. It doesn't look
- 16:24Speaker 2: like you're getting a ton of exercise out of it,
- 16:27Speaker 2: but it looks like a fun time.
- 16:29Speaker 5: And so we had to see that.
- 16:30Speaker 2: And then we had to see them all dress up
- 16:31Speaker 2: like old ladies to celebrate Emily's birthday at a drag bingo.
- 16:38Speaker 5: And this is an awful idea.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I was talking to some younger girls and it was
- 16:42Speaker 2: her friend's 40th And they were like, yeah, we're all
- 16:45Speaker 2: going to dress up like old ladies and go to
- 16:47Speaker 2: this club out in Westlake. I'm like, why? Why I'll
- 16:52Speaker 2: dress like old ladies? No one looks good in it.
- 16:55Speaker 3: It's awful.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And it's not funny. And we don't need to see it.
- 16:59Speaker 2: It's a stupid shtick. We don't want to see dress
- 17:01Speaker 2: up stuff. And they are old ladies. I mean, two
- 17:05Speaker 2: of them are well into their 60s, you know, and
- 17:08Speaker 2: it just it. it just was weird. And I don't even,
- 17:13Speaker 2: there is no storyline. There's nothing even to discuss. It
- 17:15Speaker 2: was like, Jen is basically poking at Heather to be like,
- 17:20Speaker 2: remember Heather, remember when you said you were annoyed with Tamara,
- 17:24Speaker 2: you know, four months ago, remember that? Remember when you
- 17:26Speaker 2: said that? And she's like, what? No, I'm not going
- 17:29Speaker 2: to fuck with Tamara. The woman scares the shit out
- 17:31Speaker 2: of me. Um, I'm going to stay her friend until
- 17:34Speaker 2: I'm not on the show anymore. And I don't have
- 17:36Speaker 2: to see her face. That is what she's thinking of.
- 17:39Speaker 2: That's what Heather Dubrow is saying when she's like, excuse me, Jen, excuse,
- 17:45Speaker 2: you asked me over and over what I was saying
- 17:51Speaker 2: about Tamara.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Tamara and I are historical friends.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Sometimes I don't love everything she says, but I can
- 18:00Speaker 2: still call her the next day when we have to
- 18:02Speaker 2: film and we can certainly get along.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Oh, and the other thing that was interesting that Brandy
- 18:11Speaker 2: Howard said to me when we were hanging out this
- 18:14Speaker 2: weekend is she said, remember when Heather says, oh, why
- 18:18Speaker 2: does your hair look like that or something to Tamara?
- 18:20Speaker 2: And Tamara goes, oh, Eddie and I were paddleboarding and
- 18:25Speaker 2: they show this tiny clip, less than three seconds of
- 18:27Speaker 2: the two of them paddleboarding and she's getting hit by
- 18:30Speaker 2: a wave.
- 18:31Speaker 5: This is February in the OC.
- 18:33Speaker 3: It's cold.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So it might be sunny out, but it's cold. So
- 18:36Speaker 2: she has to wear a full wetsuit and she has
- 18:38Speaker 2: to paddleboard. And then Heather Dubrow goes, yeah, I'm done
- 18:42Speaker 2: with the daredevil stuff.
- 18:43Speaker 5: I'm over that. We don't need to do that anymore.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And we thought that was a sign to the producers
- 18:50Speaker 2: of like, you're not going to make me jump out
- 18:53Speaker 2: of a plane, paddleboard, go horseback riding, do a stripper pull,
- 18:58Speaker 2: take a bungee class.
- 19:01Speaker 5: I'm not doing any physical shit anymore.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I'll dress up like an old lady and go to
- 19:04Speaker 2: a drag brunch, but I don't, I would rather just
- 19:08Speaker 2: have a beautiful dinner, have a $ 75, 000 party that we
- 19:12Speaker 2: paid for, not Terry's dead brother from Quiet Riot, and
- 19:15Speaker 2: have a good time.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Okay?
- 19:18Speaker 2: That's it. You can see my beautiful outfits and you
- 19:21Speaker 2: can hear my wisdom, but I don't need to, if
- 19:25Speaker 2: you want to see me do physical shit, you need
- 19:27Speaker 2: to follow my TikTok. That's what Heather Dubrow is saying. OK,
- 19:30Speaker 2: you guys, I'm really excited for a hilarious, hilarious comedian.
- 19:35Speaker 2: She is back.
- 19:36Speaker 5: Let's go with my interview.
- 19:38Speaker 2: But the apple doesn't fall.
- 19:40Speaker 3: So easy! Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 20:08Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:11Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:14Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:19Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 20:25Speaker 3: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 20:28Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:30Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:32Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:35Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:38Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 20:39Speaker 3: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 20:42Speaker 3: started crying.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:47Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:50Speaker 4: happens next.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 20:54Speaker 5: You're worth the work.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 20:57Speaker 5: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:00Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have a return favorite,
- 21:19Speaker 2: Zhao Ying.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Hi, Heather.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Summers, hilarious comedian, mother of three, touring comic, actress, writer.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Juicy Scooper.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I'm so glad you could make it. Thank you for
- 21:35Speaker 2: reaching out and coming on.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Heather. I travel the world and I
- 21:40Speaker 3: see your fans. In every show.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 21:43Speaker 3: They had it in me. It's just amazing. Your fans
- 21:46Speaker 3: are very different. They're just all hearts. They're just, sometimes
- 21:52Speaker 3: they've probably never heard of me, but they got to
- 21:54Speaker 3: know me from your show. And they, it's like, I
- 21:58Speaker 3: don't know, like they love you so much. They're like
- 22:00Speaker 3: your sisters. And they say, you are one of us.
- 22:02Speaker 3: You know, that feeling. Oh, I love that. Thank you
- 22:04Speaker 3: so much for introducing me to your amazing fans.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Thank you for coming on.
- 22:08Speaker 3: They're everywhere.
- 22:09Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 22:10Speaker 3: They're in Europe, they're in Asia, they're in Australia, obviously,
- 22:13Speaker 3: but all over. They are everywhere.
- 22:16Speaker 5: I love that.
- 22:18Speaker 2: You just had your third child with your second husband.
- 22:23Speaker 5: It's very Hollywood of you. I love it. Your baby
- 22:27Speaker 5: is so cute. Your baby looks like the husband.
- 22:30Speaker 3: He does. And I look at his help and I'm
- 22:33Speaker 3: afraid that he may lose the privilege to say chink.
- 22:37Speaker 3: You know, I don't think he can say it. There's
- 22:38Speaker 3: no way he can say it. He got crucified. He's
- 22:41Speaker 3: a white man. He's like opium war white. He's not
- 22:44Speaker 3: just like a regular white guy. He's like Ohio white.
- 22:46Speaker 2: My son is like, well, he has like a mature
- 22:49Speaker 2: man name too.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I can't say it. It's Arthur. I say it. I
- 22:53Speaker 3: say author. My daughter's like, it's not author. It's Arthur.
- 22:57Speaker 3: She's correcting me. I'm like, whatever. He's here.
- 23:00Speaker 5: What is home base now for you?
- 23:02Speaker 3: So Austin, Texas is home base. Okay. I kept, I
- 23:05Speaker 3: sold my house in Arcadia. I bought a condo in Hollywood,
- 23:08Speaker 3: West Hollywood.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:09Speaker 3: So I can just live in West Hollywood whenever I
- 23:12Speaker 3: come here for a week. But I miss L.A. I
- 23:15Speaker 3: realize that we are paying for the weather here. The
- 23:18Speaker 3: weather is worth every penny here. You can love or
- 23:21Speaker 3: hate L.A., but there's no weather like L.A. weather. I know.
- 23:25Speaker 3: It is so great.
- 23:25Speaker 5: Nothing like this.
- 23:27Speaker 2: And it's been actually really nice. You got to avoid
- 23:30Speaker 2: that sinkhole, though, that happened.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Oh, it's in West Hollywood, right? Yeah. I think I
- 23:35Speaker 3: missed it. It was last week?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 3: What happened?
- 23:38Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't live in L.A., so I
- 23:40Speaker 2: just see it and just go, oh, God, thank God.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Where's your home base? It's in Thousand Oaks, in a
- 23:46Speaker 2: place called Sherwood. Yeah, it's like we moved out that way.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So everything's a little further, but now let me just
- 23:54Speaker 2: get into how— How is your mother accepting the new husband,
- 23:59Speaker 2: the new baby? What's going on with your mom? Because
- 24:03Speaker 2: she is like a tiger mom, right? Which is the
- 24:06Speaker 2: definition of tiger mom is pretty critical.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Yeah, she's very tough. It's been really hard. She was
- 24:13Speaker 3: not a proof of him because she just feel like
- 24:17Speaker 3: I should be focusing on my career after my divorce.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I am not good with men because I... I talk back.
- 24:24Speaker 3: And she's like, if you talk back, you stay single.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Just talk back. You know, you stay single. After my
- 24:29Speaker 3: divorce and she came to take care of the two
- 24:31Speaker 3: kids and I met my husband, she just think I
- 24:34Speaker 3: should just not get married. I should not have any kids.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I mean, she just feel like if I have a kid,
- 24:40Speaker 3: it's going to age me for five years. I'll expire.
- 24:43Speaker 3: She's just a sick woman. She's like, you got to
- 24:46Speaker 3: be selfish. You got to just not get married anymore.
- 24:49Speaker 2: So was she critical that you got pregnant before you
- 24:53Speaker 2: were married? Yes.
- 24:54Speaker 3: She's very mad. And she's like, you are ruining your life.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I said, it's already ruined. She's like, yeah, it's getting
- 25:00Speaker 3: worse now. And she said, he's going to leave you
- 25:02Speaker 3: because you are turning 40. I said, I'm 34. She goes,
- 25:06Speaker 3: you're 35. 35 is 40. You know, 34 is 30.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I just, you are 40. And he's going to, he's
- 25:13Speaker 3: not going to work.
- 25:13Speaker 5: You're only 34 though right now.
- 25:15Speaker 3: No, I'm 36. It was two years ago.
- 25:19Speaker 2: To her, you're still, she's reminding you that 40 is coming.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Yeah, 40 is here. And then she said that he's,
- 25:27Speaker 3: I don't think he loves you because he's young. I said,
- 25:31Speaker 3: he's one year younger. He's like, if a man is
- 25:33Speaker 3: one year younger than a woman, he's actually 20 years
- 25:35Speaker 3: younger than you. It's different. You know, like you can't
- 25:40Speaker 3: be with a younger woman.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Is she with your dad?
- 25:43Speaker 3: No, they are still together. He's drunk, so I'm happy
- 25:46Speaker 3: for him. You know, I understand why he drink now.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Because when I was growing up, I feel like he's
- 25:50Speaker 3: lazy and drunk. And now I understand that you have
- 25:52Speaker 3: to be drunk to survive around her because she's a problem.
- 25:55Speaker 3: You know, women are always a problem. You work hard.
- 25:58Speaker 3: And you take off the kids and you're a bitch.
- 26:00Speaker 3: You make your husband drink, you know. We do everything,
- 26:03Speaker 3: but people still hate us. People just hate women. I
- 26:07Speaker 3: hate her too. She clean for me. She cook for me.
- 26:10Speaker 3: She take for the kids. I hate her. I realized that,
- 26:12Speaker 3: oh my gosh, that's what it's like to be a woman. Anyway, right?
- 26:17Speaker 3: Like we do everything. And people just hate us. It's like,
- 26:19Speaker 3: why are you breathing? Like, why? You know, why you
- 26:23Speaker 3: still look so beautiful? Or like why you look fat now?
- 26:25Speaker 3: It doesn't matter how you look. You're wrong. You're, yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 3: So basically she, when she, then I got pregnant, she
- 26:31Speaker 3: was furious. She's like.
- 26:33Speaker 5: How did you tell her?
- 26:34Speaker 3: I sent her the little ultrasound thing.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Oh, just out of the blue. You just texted her
- 26:41Speaker 5: an ultrasound photo.
- 26:43Speaker 3: I just like, oh my God, mom, I'm so excited.
- 26:44Speaker 3: She just like, can you get an abortion now? Like
- 26:47Speaker 3: she said this to me. She's so Chinese.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Over text? Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 3: She's like, can you get an abortion now?
- 26:54Speaker 5: And what did you say?
- 26:55Speaker 3: I said, it's a boy. She goes, oh, okay.
- 26:59Speaker 6: What?
- 27:00Speaker 3: I'm serious.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I came home.
- 27:02Speaker 3: She made me dumpling and she hugged me. And she's like,
- 27:05Speaker 3: it's going to be a white man. He's going to
- 27:06Speaker 3: be privileged. I mean, he's half Asian, but you know,
- 27:09Speaker 3: you got to take what you have. He's going to
- 27:11Speaker 3: be white. So he can just like do whatever. His
- 27:13Speaker 3: life's going to be easy. So you don't have to
- 27:15Speaker 3: worry about him. This is good. It's an easy child.
- 27:17Speaker 3: It's an easy one.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Oh my God.
- 27:19Speaker 2: How did the older kids, your... Kids are seven and five.
- 27:23Speaker 2: How are they around the baby?
- 27:25Speaker 3: My son, just being a boy, is like, it's a baby.
- 27:28Speaker 3: My daughter, she's only five, but she's very mature. She
- 27:32Speaker 3: brings the diaper. She likes to clean the milk, and
- 27:35Speaker 3: she likes to put a pacifier and clean the pacifier
- 27:38Speaker 3: for him. So she's full-on big sister duty. She loves him,
- 27:43Speaker 3: and she thinks he's adorable, and she is the best
- 27:46Speaker 3: big sister. My son just kind of, he's a boy.
- 27:48Speaker 3: He's like, oh, there's a boy. He also has a penis.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Oh, ha.
- 27:51Speaker 3: It's like a dumb boy stuff. But you can just
- 27:53Speaker 3: see she's two years younger. She's sophisticated. She looks at him.
- 27:58Speaker 3: She smiles. How cute. I love him. And he looks
- 28:01Speaker 3: at her in awe of her, amazed by her just
- 28:05Speaker 3: because she's so nice to him. And they just have
- 28:08Speaker 3: this beautiful bond.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I love that.
- 28:10Speaker 5: That's so sweet.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Now, for those that don't know, not only are you
- 28:14Speaker 2: a stand-up comic, but you really went about becoming the
- 28:18Speaker 2: comic in such a great way and so smart and
- 28:22Speaker 2: so entrepreneurial because it's so hard to get stage time
- 28:26Speaker 2: as a comedian, especially in LA.
- 28:28Speaker 5: They say it's.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Easier in New York and maybe even Chicago. So you
- 28:33Speaker 2: have your own comedy club and that's where you were
- 28:35Speaker 2: able to really work and hone your craft. And you
- 28:39Speaker 2: had an incident that happened. that I thought was so
- 28:42Speaker 2: terrible but so interesting about these influencers that came for
- 28:47Speaker 2: a night of comedy and chose to make not flattering
- 28:51Speaker 2: content out of your club. Can you tell us about that?
- 28:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they were not really trying to do stand-up.
- 28:57Speaker 3: They actually just want to go there and insult the art,
- 29:00Speaker 3: just go there and get on stage, read things on
- 29:02Speaker 3: phones and get a reaction because they actually reached out.
- 29:05Speaker 3: We're booked out to the open mic night. They're booked out.
- 29:08Speaker 3: There's only 10 people. I think eight spots every hour.
- 29:12Speaker 3: And they reached out to the manager. She's actually here, Paige.
- 29:15Speaker 3: And she said, well, we can't guarantee a spot. You know,
- 29:17Speaker 3: if there's no one show up, you can get a spot,
- 29:20Speaker 3: but it's not guaranteed. So they went there.
- 29:23Speaker 2: There's no spot. And who are these girls? Are they
- 29:26Speaker 2: actual triplets?
- 29:27Speaker 3: They are not really triplets. They also pretend they are 15,
- 29:30Speaker 3: but they are in their 20s. The youngest one is 18.
- 29:34Speaker 3: The other ones are 26.
- 29:35Speaker 2: So they have a persona online as 15-year-old Trev.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:41Speaker 5: And they're not triplets and they're not 15.
- 29:42Speaker 3: No, no. Okay.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Well, pretty smart to make yourself 15-year-old triplets in this
- 29:47Speaker 2: gross world.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I know. I know that's smart. I can see why.
- 29:50Speaker 5: I should have heard from them.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Playboy back in the day was always into twins and
- 29:55Speaker 2: triplets and all that bullshit.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Okay, so go on.
- 29:58Speaker 3: I should learn about, learn about my age. They are
- 30:00Speaker 3: smart about that. Anyway, they just basically, they start cursing
- 30:04Speaker 3: at the host. Like, you fucking moron, fucking stupid.
- 30:06Speaker 2: While they're on stage or while they're... Before they got on.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Stage because they were like, oh, it's booked out, you know, blah, blah.
- 30:12Speaker 3: They just start cursing and... screaming. It was awful. And
- 30:16Speaker 3: then they, the host was young and he's like, okay,
- 30:19Speaker 3: I just got on stage. You can go on stage.
- 30:20Speaker 3: They got on stage. You start basically making fun of everyone.
- 30:24Speaker 3: And they're reading things off their phone. People don't, don't laugh.
- 30:26Speaker 3: And they were like, fuck you guys. Fuck the whole room,
- 30:28Speaker 3: you know, blah, blah, blah. And people just don't laugh
- 30:30Speaker 3: because it's open mic. You know, nobody care about you
- 30:33Speaker 3: have followers. They have like followers everywhere. Anyway. So they basically,
- 30:38Speaker 3: they left the place and they just, uh, had a
- 30:41Speaker 3: terrible review about it as he talked about it.
- 30:43Speaker 5: So then they went on the.
- 30:45Speaker 3: YouTube. They post on YouTube.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Oh, and they did a video about their night bashing
- 30:49Speaker 2: the club.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Before the club, during and after, they basically said they
- 30:53Speaker 3: wait for three hours, which is a lie. And they
- 30:54Speaker 3: said that the host were harassing them, sexually harassing them,
- 30:59Speaker 3: which never happened. Wow. One of the audience, one of
- 31:03Speaker 3: the open mic on stage is like, wow, those two
- 31:06Speaker 3: are attractive. It's like three girls and one boyfriend. That's normal.
- 31:10Speaker 3: It's open mic. It's like, oh, you're attractive.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 3: You guys look rich, you know, those kind of stuff. Like, oh,
- 31:14Speaker 3: they were like sexually harassing us. I'm like, they are
- 31:18Speaker 3: not your dad.
- 31:18Speaker 2: So someone was on stage doing crowd work and they
- 31:21Speaker 2: were waiting to go up. So they were sitting there
- 31:24Speaker 2: and he's like, oh, who are you? Three attractive ladies.
- 31:26Speaker 2: And they called that sexual harassment.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Yes. And that person is also like, he just opened
- 31:30Speaker 3: mic comedian who signed up to the mic.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 31:33Speaker 3: They said this person is my host. Wow. Like the
- 31:37Speaker 3: staff of the club. And they, they basically made up
- 31:41Speaker 3: stories and, And the fans, because they are morons, you know,
- 31:44Speaker 3: those fans, they're so stupid. And they basically send us
- 31:48Speaker 3: thousands of, like, death threats. Like, non-stop. Like, I got
- 31:52Speaker 3: death threats, the ugly, stupid chink. They call off our host,
- 31:56Speaker 3: the N-word. And you should kill yourself. It's like, then
- 32:00Speaker 3: they start giving us, like, negative reviews on Yelp and Google.
- 32:05Speaker 3: My review went to, like... One point. Wow. It was
- 32:10Speaker 3: like 4.5. It went to one. It was so nasty.
- 32:13Speaker 3: But thank God it's a Chinese business. You know, if
- 32:15Speaker 3: we have bad review, it means it's authentic. I don't care.
- 32:19Speaker 3: But it was very bad. A lot of staff were
- 32:22Speaker 3: affected because of death threats. Those people are vicious.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I remember you were doing videos about it. Letting people
- 32:30Speaker 2: know that this had happened. I, of course, never had
- 32:32Speaker 2: heard of these triplets, but, you know, there's so many
- 32:34Speaker 2: people that are just famous within a different demographic that
- 32:38Speaker 2: you wouldn't know today, you know? So I understand the
- 32:42Speaker 2: power they have. So what happened? Did they ever apologize
- 32:45Speaker 2: or take it down or anything?
- 32:47Speaker 3: No, we.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Who are these people again?
- 32:50Speaker 3: They are three bitches from Edmonton. You know, you would
- 32:55Speaker 3: think Canadians are nice.
- 32:56Speaker 5: But is that their name? Three bitches from.
- 32:59Speaker 3: No, I wish they are that funny, but no. They
- 33:01Speaker 3: call them like Caligaris sisters. I can't even say it.
- 33:04Speaker 3: It sounds like an yeast infection. Okay, okay. Anyway, they're just...
- 33:09Speaker 3: My dad told me this, and the dad would be
- 33:11Speaker 3: in the video. I'm like, yeah, he's fucking all of
- 33:13Speaker 3: you guys. Of course, the dad is like... You know,
- 33:16Speaker 3: it's so cringy. He's like, daddy, can I do... I'm like, gosh, bitch,
- 33:19Speaker 3: you're 26.
- 33:19Speaker 2: But that's not their real dad because they're not real
- 33:21Speaker 2: triplets and they're not 15.
- 33:22Speaker 3: It's so gross. Okay. Yeah, they don't do anything. They're
- 33:27Speaker 3: just dumb bitches and these big... I don't know, big
- 33:31Speaker 3: red hair. So it looked like a fetish thing, I think. Okay. Whatever.
- 33:34Speaker 3: So they won't take it on the video. They want
- 33:37Speaker 3: me to apologize to them. Because my staff was, first
- 33:43Speaker 3: of all, it's not my staff, calling them hot and
- 33:45Speaker 3: advancing on them, like predators. I'm like, by the way,
- 33:51Speaker 3: just making up a story is so ugly because it
- 33:55Speaker 3: makes a real victim. Yeah, it's such a weird world.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Where like people do that, you know, and they, or
- 34:03Speaker 2: they think that the world is going to be on
- 34:05Speaker 2: their side because the checker took too long to check
- 34:09Speaker 2: out their items.
- 34:09Speaker 5: And they're like, can you believe this? And do this thing.
- 34:13Speaker 2: And then, but then depending on how certain people present it, yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 2: their quote unquote fans can really come after it.
- 34:21Speaker 5: It can be so disturbing.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the fans with the reviews about our club being shitty.
- 34:26Speaker 3: They had never been to my club and it's very
- 34:29Speaker 3: bad for the business. And I think the press reached
- 34:33Speaker 3: out because they want to talk about it because there's
- 34:36Speaker 3: a chef in San Francisco refused to give a influencer
- 34:40Speaker 3: a free meal. And she basically made a video, a
- 34:43Speaker 3: negative review about it, and they had to close the restaurant.
- 34:47Speaker 3: They lost their business because of the review was so low.
- 34:51Speaker 2: That recently happened with... That was a few years ago.
- 34:54Speaker 2: But not these triplets, other people.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yeah, other influencer.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Oh my God.
- 34:58Speaker 3: So I was lucky I had a platform. Yeah. Also,
- 35:02Speaker 3: I was lucky it's a comedy, it's an open mic place.
- 35:05Speaker 3: You know, people were expecting that.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Right, so if you were just an eatery, like just
- 35:10Speaker 2: a restaurant, and they believed they had an awful experience
- 35:15Speaker 2: and chose to do it, you're right. How could a
- 35:18Speaker 2: small restaurant that maybe doesn't even have social media but
- 35:21Speaker 2: does have a Yelp review, how would they ever recover
- 35:24Speaker 2: from something like this?
- 35:26Speaker 5: That is true.
- 35:27Speaker 3: It's very sad. It's very sad. They wouldn't be able
- 35:29Speaker 3: to recover. And they just destroyed businesses because they didn't
- 35:33Speaker 3: get their free... VIP treatment they are so entitled to.
- 35:37Speaker 3: They have no talents, those girls. I think they are
- 35:43Speaker 3: really sick people. I hope them well. They need whatever.
- 35:48Speaker 3: I realize that as a comedian, I can cry about it.
- 35:52Speaker 3: I feel bad how they treat my staff. But the
- 35:54Speaker 3: best thing I can do is make fun of them.
- 35:56Speaker 3: So I just did a roast on them. I joked
- 35:58Speaker 3: about them, made fun of them. And that was good.
- 36:01Speaker 3: That was good for my mental health. Right. Yeah, people
- 36:03Speaker 3: were so mad. I called them whores from Edmonton. I'm like,
- 36:10Speaker 3: I don't care. You know, I really don't care.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Anyway.
- 36:12Speaker 2: And did they, did you still get some backlash from
- 36:16Speaker 2: their fans?
- 36:16Speaker 3: Every day.
- 36:17Speaker 5: You like put up a video and there's comments in there?
- 36:19Speaker 3: Every day we still have Google review that's negative. Still
- 36:22Speaker 3: to today. Wow. I don't even look at it anymore
- 36:24Speaker 3: because it just, whatever.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yeah, why, why?
- 36:26Speaker 5: Yeah. And so you've got some exciting things going on.
- 36:31Speaker 3: The short film is Andre 3000, which is crazy because
- 36:36Speaker 3: I had no idea he know who I am. And
- 36:39Speaker 3: he likes my comedy. And we became good friends. He
- 36:43Speaker 3: brought me on Andre 3000. I mean, he brought me
- 36:45Speaker 3: on LeBron's podcast, The Shop. So that's how I met
- 36:48Speaker 3: him for the first time. And then we became very
- 36:50Speaker 3: good friends. And I'm very inspired by him as an artist.
- 36:54Speaker 3: And it was amazing to be in his... short film
- 36:57Speaker 3: Seven Piano Sketches for his new piano album. Wow. It's
- 37:04Speaker 3: a lot of fun in New York.
- 37:05Speaker 5: That's amazing.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 37:08Speaker 2: And so tell me what else is going on. What
- 37:10Speaker 2: has been, like, how has the stand-up been going? You
- 37:13Speaker 2: do a lot of crowd work. Or at least that's
- 37:16Speaker 2: what you show in your videos. Because, you know, that's
- 37:20Speaker 2: always good. I hear you said, what's your mama think
- 37:23Speaker 2: about you being a Malaysian gay? You always talk to
- 37:26Speaker 2: the audience and you get a lot of, you know,
- 37:29Speaker 2: fun people to.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Go to your thing.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I love them.
- 37:32Speaker 5: Different couples and things like that.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I love them. So I was just really desperate about
- 37:38Speaker 3: to build my social media business. And it's so difficult.
- 37:41Speaker 3: We can't show our materials. Sometimes if it's our new jokes,
- 37:45Speaker 3: it belongs to a new special. You can't really show it.
- 37:48Speaker 3: But how can fans come to see you if they
- 37:50Speaker 3: don't see you? So I just, I realized like after
- 37:54Speaker 3: I do my materials, the last 10 minutes, I'm just
- 37:57Speaker 3: going to talk to a front row. And I started
- 37:59Speaker 3: doing that just asking, what species are you? Because I
- 38:01Speaker 3: think it's, We're a different species, you know, because racism
- 38:06Speaker 3: is so stupid. If there's an alien, like a human
- 38:09Speaker 3: has black ones and yellow ones and white ones. They
- 38:11Speaker 3: don't think which one is better than which one. They
- 38:13Speaker 3: just see us as different species, indifferent. So I just
- 38:17Speaker 3: started calling them, what species are you? And then I
- 38:19Speaker 3: realized that all my fans, they come to front row,
- 38:22Speaker 3: they expect to get roasted. They'll get ready to get roasted.
- 38:25Speaker 3: You just look at me like, what you got? Do
- 38:27Speaker 3: you ever feel like they.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Since you're doing your material and not talking to them
- 38:31Speaker 2: until the end, do you think they're kind of like
- 38:34Speaker 2: a little disappointed? Or like wanting to get attention or
- 38:37Speaker 2: yelling stuff out or anything?
- 38:39Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. For some shows that I kind of just
- 38:42Speaker 3: do over time. And I know sometimes the theaters, they
- 38:45Speaker 3: are very strict. They just don't let you run over time.
- 38:49Speaker 3: They're going to fine you money or anything. I'm Chinese.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I'm like, don't take my money. So I would not
- 38:53Speaker 3: do any crowd work. I was just like, bye. They
- 38:56Speaker 3: were like... What? What? You are not talking to me.
- 39:00Speaker 3: I paid for the front row, bitch. You know, they
- 39:02Speaker 3: didn't say bitch, but they were just like, huh? They
- 39:05Speaker 3: are sweet about it. Asians don't talk about how disappointed
- 39:07Speaker 3: they are. They just don't come anymore. But anyway, they
- 39:10Speaker 3: actually talked to me after the meeting. They were like,
- 39:11Speaker 3: oh my God, can you roast us now? We are
- 39:13Speaker 3: buying a t-shirt. I'm like, yes. So it was so cute.
- 39:17Speaker 3: The front rows expect that. The people in the back
- 39:19Speaker 3: know I won't talk to them because I can't really
- 39:21Speaker 3: see who they are to roast them. So the front
- 39:24Speaker 3: row actually now expect to talk to them.
- 39:26Speaker 5: Has anyone ever been offended by your roast?
- 39:30Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. When I was in Pasadena, I can't say.
- 39:34Speaker 5: The ice house. The ice house.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Ice house. Ice house. One girl, she was roasting me.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I was on stage. This beautiful Asian girl with an
- 39:47Speaker 3: old white man. Heckling you. You mean heckling? Yeah, I'm like, oh,
- 39:49Speaker 3: there's a white man. I know there's an Asian lady nearby.
- 39:52Speaker 3: She's like, hey, that's rude. Iron your shirt, you know.
- 39:57Speaker 3: What did she say?
- 39:58Speaker 2: Iron your shirt?
- 39:58Speaker 3: Yeah, because your dress is wrinkly. Oh, okay. You look cheap.
- 40:02Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm sorry, mom.
- 40:03Speaker 5: How old was she?
- 40:04Speaker 3: She was probably in her 30s and pretty and little tipsy.
- 40:09Speaker 3: But I'm sorry, you know. She's like... I said, I just,
- 40:15Speaker 3: I want a green card. That's why I'm talking to
- 40:16Speaker 3: your man. She's like, she was so mad. She's like,
- 40:20Speaker 3: I'm a single mother. I make my own money. I'm
- 40:22Speaker 3: also divorced. I'm like, I know I would divorce you too.
- 40:26Speaker 3: And then she just got more angry, angry. But you
- 40:29Speaker 3: are trying to roast a comedian. Come on.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Did she leave or stay the whole show?
- 40:34Speaker 3: She was getting more and more rude and the security
- 40:38Speaker 3: took her out to ask if you please leave. I'm like, okay,
- 40:40Speaker 3: I guess she's deported. So that was one time she was,
- 40:45Speaker 3: my own people, Asian lady is literally just like upset
- 40:49Speaker 3: with me. But I was just calling her like, you
- 40:52Speaker 3: are so pretty. You have, you know, if I'm hot
- 40:54Speaker 3: like you, I would be a bitch too. I'd be
- 40:56Speaker 3: a what? A bitch too.
- 40:58Speaker 5: A bitch too.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, because I'm not like, hey, you ugly, you know,
- 41:02Speaker 3: it's not funny. The funny is like, sure, she's a
- 41:04Speaker 3: pretty girl. I just, I don't offend her in a
- 41:08Speaker 3: way that's direct. So she just like, she didn't hear
- 41:11Speaker 3: that in her life. She's like, wait, but you are
- 41:14Speaker 3: offending me, but not really offending me. So she just
- 41:16Speaker 3: like got mind fucked by me. Yeah.
- 41:18Speaker 2: That, okay. You know, I talk about housewives a lot
- 41:21Speaker 2: and they do this thing called, she knows how to
- 41:24Speaker 2: read you.
- 41:25Speaker 6: Oh.
- 41:25Speaker 2: That expression, which is like, and I, someone showed a
- 41:30Speaker 2: clip of, what was her name? Kenya Moore, who used
- 41:35Speaker 2: to be on Real Housewives of Atlanta. And it's back
- 41:38Speaker 2: when she was on celebrity apprentice. Okay.
- 41:42Speaker 5: That's how long ago it was.
- 41:44Speaker 2: And the clip came up and it was like, wow,
- 41:46Speaker 2: Kenya knows how to do it. And she did this
- 41:48Speaker 2: thing where another housewife from a different franchise, Brandy Glanville
- 41:53Speaker 2: was sitting next to her down the whatever.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Oh, I know Brandy. Yeah. And so she was like.
- 41:58Speaker 5: Look, I, you know, I try to keep it classy.
- 42:02Speaker 2: I didn't say that her skirt short, whatever she thought,
- 42:08Speaker 2: I'm just making something like, I didn't say that her
- 42:10Speaker 2: tampon string was showing because her skirt was too short.
- 42:14Speaker 5: She has great legs.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Her skirt was short. I'm sure she didn't intend to
- 42:18Speaker 2: have her pant tampon string show. I never said that.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Did I?
- 42:22Speaker 2: And it's like, you know, that kind of thing. And
- 42:24Speaker 2: of course, now you're saying it and it's on TV.
- 42:26Speaker 2: You're saying in front of people, it's, that's kind of
- 42:29Speaker 2: the same thing that you're doing, which is really clever
- 42:32Speaker 2: and really funny. Like, Oh, it's a little bit like
- 42:35Speaker 2: a bless your heart. You know how Southern people go
- 42:37Speaker 2: bless your heart.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Bless her heart.
- 42:39Speaker 2: You know, she didn't have the, you know, bless her heart. She's,
- 42:44Speaker 2: She's so pretty, but she can't read. So she wouldn't
- 42:47Speaker 2: have known what I wrote on that piece of paper.
- 42:49Speaker 2: And that is why she misunderstood this whole situation. Bless
- 42:53Speaker 2: her heart. Like whatever it is.
- 42:55Speaker 3: That's so funny. The housewives. I love when they are.
- 42:58Speaker 2: That's not really my like forte, but I see it.
- 43:02Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my God, I fucking love it.
- 43:03Speaker 3: You know?
- 43:06Speaker 2: But so when doing that, yeah, that's crazy. Now, does
- 43:09Speaker 2: your mom care when you talk about your mom?
- 43:12Speaker 3: She doesn't care. I remember that she was on my
- 43:16Speaker 3: podcast because Patton Oswalt got COVID. I think I gave
- 43:21Speaker 3: him COVID by texting him. But he did my podcast anyway.
- 43:25Speaker 3: So we got to the studio and he had to
- 43:27Speaker 3: cancel because he got not feeling well. And my mother
- 43:30Speaker 3: drove me home. I was desperate. She drove me. Yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 3: It's because of my DOI. I couldn't drive back then.
- 43:38Speaker 3: And I was in the studio. I'm like, mom, I
- 43:40Speaker 3: pay for the studio. What do I do? She's like,
- 43:42Speaker 3: you pay for wages? What do you do? I said,
- 43:45Speaker 3: can you be my guest? She said, I don't speak English.
- 43:47Speaker 3: I said, I will translate. So she just sat there
- 43:50Speaker 3: and I said, Mom, you know, China and America is
- 43:53Speaker 3: very different. Because in America, they love when ladies are tanned.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Because when you are tanned, it means you are fit.
- 43:59Speaker 3: You love, you know, vacation means you are wealthy. It just,
- 44:02Speaker 3: people love tanned skin. And my skin is dark. So
- 44:06Speaker 3: in America, I'm actually not ugly. I had to actually
- 44:08Speaker 3: explain to her because she would laugh when I say
- 44:10Speaker 3: I'm not ugly here. And in America, I'm actually not
- 44:13Speaker 3: ugly because my skin is tanned. It's considered attractive. She's like,
- 44:16Speaker 3: she lost it. She's like, ha, ha, ha. That's so funny.
- 44:19Speaker 3: You're still ugly, you know. Yeah. You know, your skin's dark.
- 44:22Speaker 3: It means you work at a farm. You're poor and ugly.
- 44:24Speaker 3: And then I said, my lips is big. In America,
- 44:27Speaker 3: it's a good thing. Big lips is sexy. Like Julia
- 44:31Speaker 3: Roberts and Angela Jolie. She's like, no, you have pig lips.
- 44:35Speaker 3: You got big, big lips. You know, she's just like
- 44:38Speaker 3: roasting me. And I just try to explain to her
- 44:41Speaker 3: because I know her. She doesn't hurt me anymore. But
- 44:44Speaker 3: for the audience, I want them to be like, hey,
- 44:45Speaker 3: that's actually what she thinks. And oh my goodness, I
- 44:48Speaker 3: left China probably 16 years ago. China changed. All the
- 44:53Speaker 3: girls start to like, you know what, try to like
- 44:56Speaker 3: be more confident. And the girls with dark skin before,
- 45:00Speaker 3: they're like, yes, I'm ugly. Now they're like, you know what,
- 45:02Speaker 3: there should be diversity in beauty. You know, we should,
- 45:05Speaker 3: us curvy girls, a girl with dark skin should also
- 45:08Speaker 3: be considered attractive. So they have the movement. So people
- 45:11Speaker 3: saw my video. They're like, oh my God, that's my mom.
- 45:13Speaker 3: That's my mom. It just went viral. It went to
- 45:15Speaker 3: like a billion views on one clip. And I went
- 45:19Speaker 3: to China, did Cosmopolitan and a lot of big magazines.
- 45:23Speaker 3: And all the people in China were like cursing. I'm like,
- 45:26Speaker 3: what the? beast she's a monster mom like what kind
- 45:29Speaker 3: of mother would do that to her daughter and she
- 45:32Speaker 3: was getting bullied online your mom was getting yeah i
- 45:36Speaker 3: said mom i'm sorry you had because she was sending
- 45:38Speaker 3: her saying even on her personal wechat like her personal
- 45:40Speaker 3: facebook she getting hate comments.
- 45:42Speaker 5: How they were able to find her on facebook.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Her chinese uh wechat her chinese account like her chinese
- 45:48Speaker 3: social account oh okay and i said mom i'm sorry
- 45:53Speaker 3: and she's like oh Oh, don't worry. I'm making you famous.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Next time I got your podcast, I slap you. I
- 45:59Speaker 3: don't care what they say. As long as it's good
- 46:01Speaker 3: for your career, I'm happy. I don't give a fuck.
- 46:03Speaker 3: She's like, she's my spirit animal. I now realize that
- 46:06Speaker 3: she's cool. Yeah, she's cool because life can be hard
- 46:10Speaker 3: and you gotta be a tough bitch in order to.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, she did make you perfect for comedy.
- 46:16Speaker 3: I think so.
- 46:17Speaker 5: Does she play Mahjong?
- 46:19Speaker 3: She didn't have time to play because my father was drunk.
- 46:22Speaker 3: She had to work all the time. So she loves mahjong,
- 46:25Speaker 3: but she did have a mahjong room in our restaurant
- 46:29Speaker 3: so people can go there and play and she can
- 46:31Speaker 3: make money.
- 46:32Speaker 6: Oh, really?
- 46:33Speaker 3: She take the fee for housing it.
- 46:37Speaker 2: How does she feel about it being so popular now
- 46:39Speaker 2: with women of all ethnicities and all ages? Like everyone
- 46:44Speaker 2: is playing mahjong now.
- 46:46Speaker 3: I think everyone is trying to max it. Ma Jiang
- 46:49Speaker 3: and drinking hot water. Everybody wants to be Chinese now.
- 46:54Speaker 5: China maxing is a great expression.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I was China maxing. Everyone on social media. You
- 47:00Speaker 3: want China maxing, your mother has to hit you on
- 47:02Speaker 3: the face. Be like, you're ugly, bitch. That's how you
- 47:04Speaker 3: really become Chinese.
- 47:05Speaker 5: You're right with the Korean skincare.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Japanese things always been popular. The anime has always been popular.
- 47:13Speaker 5: What about lymphatic massages? Did you guys used to do that?
- 47:17Speaker 3: What's lymphatic?
- 47:18Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 47:19Speaker 6: It's like everyone just says like, you're supposed to like
- 47:21Speaker 6: do this every day. And then all of a sudden,
- 47:24Speaker 6: like all the lymphatic, like I'm like, what? So if
- 47:29Speaker 6: you do this massage every day, then you're just going
- 47:31Speaker 6: to like pee out all your fat?
- 47:33Speaker 3: I don't think it works. I think cursing at your
- 47:37Speaker 3: husband drinking wine helps with beauty. When you feel good,
- 47:42Speaker 3: you look better.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Yeah. If you hate someone, you have to make sure
- 47:45Speaker 3: they know.
- 47:46Speaker 2: So is your dad still a drinker?
- 47:49Speaker 3: He didn't drink anymore. It was very cute. Me and
- 47:51Speaker 3: my dad never had a connection because he's always drunk.
- 47:54Speaker 3: But he read a lot of books. He loved reading
- 47:57Speaker 3: and he's very smart. He will help with my math homework.
- 48:00Speaker 3: And he's always been drunk. I remember that it was
- 48:03Speaker 3: probably around four or five years ago. I was doing
- 48:07Speaker 3: projects in China and getting a little popular. And then
- 48:11Speaker 3: my father had his high school reunion. And then I
- 48:14Speaker 3: was giving speech in my high school. In China. In China.
- 48:18Speaker 3: And it was a big thing, televised for my city.
- 48:23Speaker 3: And my dad was just like, oh, by the way,
- 48:25Speaker 3: my daughter is going to come. You know, if you
- 48:27Speaker 3: want her to meet your daughter, who is inspired to
- 48:30Speaker 3: go to America, they're like, wait, your daughter is Zhao Ying?
- 48:32Speaker 3: He's like, yeah. They're like, oh, come on. There's no
- 48:34Speaker 3: way she's your daughter. You are such a drunk loser.
- 48:37Speaker 3: And he just felt like he's bringing shame to me.
- 48:40Speaker 3: He's like, I feel so guilty. I felt like I
- 48:42Speaker 3: never was there for your life. And now I'm bringing
- 48:45Speaker 3: shame to you. So after that, I just stopped drinking
- 48:47Speaker 3: and he stopped drinking.
- 48:49Speaker 5: He stopped drinking?
- 48:50Speaker 3: Cold turkey. He just stopped.
- 48:52Speaker 2: So just four years ago or whatever he did.
- 48:54Speaker 3: And because he didn't want to bring shame to me
- 48:56Speaker 3: and that made me cry. And we are very close now.
- 48:59Speaker 3: He likes me a lot because I send him money.
- 49:02Speaker 2: You know, I was talking to somebody recently and I
- 49:05Speaker 2: wasn't aware that did work like, you know, a lot
- 49:08Speaker 2: of business and stuff in China. And he said, you
- 49:12Speaker 2: know what I didn't realize is what heavy drinkers do.
- 49:15Speaker 3: They are. Yeah, you got to drink to close deals.
- 49:19Speaker 3: That's why it's so weird.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Have they always been like that or is it a
- 49:22Speaker 2: more recent thing? Like the last like decades or no,
- 49:26Speaker 2: it's always been like that?
- 49:26Speaker 3: It's always like that. We say if there's no alcohol,
- 49:30Speaker 3: it's not a real gathering.
- 49:32Speaker 2: And what is their, what is their alcohol of choice?
- 49:35Speaker 3: Baijiu is basically a soju or like white liquor. Very, very,
- 49:40Speaker 3: very like a whiskey, vodka, very not wine. So a
- 49:45Speaker 3: lot like a high alcohol. And the thing is in China,
- 49:49Speaker 3: if you drink a lot, you close a deal because
- 49:52Speaker 3: deals are made at a banquet. Banquet, if you can
- 49:54Speaker 3: drink more, you can close a deal means that you
- 49:57Speaker 3: are more sincere. Because, and also, like, in China, if
- 50:01Speaker 3: your husband come home, open the door, just vomiting at
- 50:03Speaker 3: you at 1 a.m., you're like, oh, my God, my
- 50:06Speaker 3: husband work so hard, close the deal, you know, blowjob, handjob,
- 50:09Speaker 3: I'm going to give you a massage. In America, you
- 50:11Speaker 3: come home drunk, you sleep on the couch, you have
- 50:14Speaker 3: a problem, you're going to AA tomorrow. Like, you have
- 50:17Speaker 3: three glasses of wine, you have a problem. Do they
- 50:19Speaker 3: have AA in China? Not really.
- 50:21Speaker 5: What about rehabs and stuff?
- 50:23Speaker 3: No. Not very popular. I don't know how people.
- 50:27Speaker 5: They just expect people to kind of quit on their
- 50:28Speaker 5: own like your dad.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Or you really get, you drink and you get
- 50:32Speaker 3: liver disease and you die from that slowly. But people
- 50:36Speaker 3: just not taking it seriously because it costs a lot.
- 50:39Speaker 3: I have a lot of my father's friends, my uncle.
- 50:42Speaker 3: I call them uncles. They die from liver diseases.
- 50:46Speaker 5: Wow.
- 50:47Speaker 3: From heavy drinking, but they don't think it's a big problem.
- 50:51Speaker 5: And are the women big drinkers too, generally?
- 50:55Speaker 3: Women have to be able to drink skillfully at the banquets.
- 50:58Speaker 3: You probably have to drink and try to, like you
- 51:01Speaker 3: drink here, you have your rice bowl, you spit like this.
- 51:04Speaker 3: For real? Yeah, like when someone like want to come
- 51:06Speaker 3: in your mouth, you want to make them happy, but
- 51:07Speaker 3: you're like, I don't want your coming inside. It's poor,
- 51:11Speaker 3: you know? It's like you put it in your drinking,
- 51:13Speaker 3: but you're like, but you want, they want to see,
- 51:16Speaker 3: because in Chinese culture, when someone give you alcohol, you
- 51:18Speaker 3: don't drink it, it means you are not sincere. You
- 51:21Speaker 3: are sneaky. Because my first husband, I said, mom, he's
- 51:24Speaker 3: a great man. He does not smoke, does not drink,
- 51:27Speaker 3: and he does not gamble. She's like, it means he's selfish.
- 51:30Speaker 3: He's going to murder you. There's something wrong with him.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Why he's not drinking? When someone cares about their body
- 51:36Speaker 3: so much, they are selfish. They're going to fuck you up.
- 51:39Speaker 3: I'm like, okay. That is one way to look at it. Yeah, right?
- 51:41Speaker 3: Because this person is so disciplined.
- 51:42Speaker 2: And then she turned out to be right.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Yeah, she's right.
- 51:44Speaker 5: Arrested the first husband because I remember your story. It
- 51:47Speaker 5: was awful.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Like American Psycho, right? They wouldn't do anything harm their
- 51:50Speaker 3: body because they want to fucking kill you, bitch. They'll
- 51:52Speaker 3: eat you. Right? Like, what a man is so perfect.
- 51:56Speaker 3: No gambling. Don't watch porn. Work out every day. Eat healthy. Hmm.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Something must be wrong.
- 52:02Speaker 2: You mentioned, and I do remember this from last time
- 52:04Speaker 2: you came on, that you did get a DUI.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Yes.
- 52:08Speaker 5: But nobody was hurt or anything? You were just pulled over?
- 52:10Speaker 3: No, I killed three trees. Oh. They are very expensive trees.
- 52:15Speaker 3: For real? They cost me nine grand for three trees.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 52:18Speaker 3: Yeah. It's insane.
- 52:20Speaker 5: What is your relationship with alcohol now?
- 52:22Speaker 3: I think my drinking would be binge drinking.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:25Speaker 3: I don't drink every day. I would not drink for
- 52:27Speaker 3: three months.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:28Speaker 3: I think it's like the bipolar depression. Sometimes I got
- 52:33Speaker 3: into a very bad place or hypomania. I have energy.
- 52:38Speaker 3: I feel like I won't sleep for three days. I
- 52:40Speaker 3: keep working and working and working and I don't eat.
- 52:43Speaker 3: And then, you know, you just feel like, oh, I
- 52:45Speaker 3: have so much energy. I'm feeling great. Then I'll be
- 52:49Speaker 3: drinking and then I feel great. I keep drinking, but
- 52:51Speaker 3: I had no food. There's no food in my system. Therefore,
- 52:55Speaker 3: I would get really drunk without even knowing it. I'll
- 52:58Speaker 3: be driving, I'll fall asleep because I think I wasn't
- 53:02Speaker 3: controlling my hypomania. Yeah, that's what happened to me. Yeah.
- 53:07Speaker 2: So have you been diagnosed with bipolar?
- 53:10Speaker 3: I did. Yes, I did. And I tried the lithium
- 53:13Speaker 3: and it didn't really work for me because it really
- 53:15Speaker 3: makes your pussy stinky.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Wait, it makes your smell down there?
- 53:20Speaker 3: Oh my God. It's sinister. It's not like gross. It's like...
- 53:26Speaker 3: Your mother is not cocking hell.
- 53:29Speaker 2: When did you realize that it was affecting your cooch?
- 53:33Speaker 3: My cooch, I remember that I had, it was actually
- 53:39Speaker 3: my husband. I started dating him.
- 53:41Speaker 5: The first husband or the second?
- 53:43Speaker 2: The second one.
- 53:43Speaker 3: The Chinese men, the first one is Chinese men. They
- 53:45Speaker 3: don't eat pussy. They think it's gay. They do? They
- 53:48Speaker 3: don't eat pussy. That's why for any Chinese woman, I've
- 53:52Speaker 3: never dated a man who eats pussy. I'm like, honey,
- 53:54Speaker 3: you're missing out. Because they don't, that's, like, not eating
- 53:59Speaker 3: pussy is, like, the gayest thing ever. Like, why would
- 54:01Speaker 3: you think it's gay to eat pussy?
- 54:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:03Speaker 3: The gays, like, oh, they are ghost star gays. Right, yeah.
- 54:06Speaker 3: They never eat the same pussy. But anyway, it's crazy.
- 54:09Speaker 3: I was dating my now husband, and I just, like,
- 54:13Speaker 3: realized he didn't eat my pussy. I'm like, why you
- 54:15Speaker 3: don't want to eat my pussy? He just won't tell me.
- 54:17Speaker 3: I just got so angry at him. I'm like, whoa.
- 54:21Speaker 3: Then I just. Oh my God. I'm like, what is this?
- 54:25Speaker 3: It was so bad. It was so bad.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Have you looked it up?
- 54:30Speaker 5: Is that a real thing?
- 54:31Speaker 3: I looked up and I asked my doctor. They said
- 54:33Speaker 3: it doesn't happen to everyone, but it does change your hormone.
- 54:36Speaker 3: It changes your pH balance. And it actually happens to
- 54:41Speaker 3: some people. So it happened to me. And I just
- 54:44Speaker 3: felt so bad. Like when I was crazy, I was
- 54:48Speaker 3: amazing in bed. Now God made me a nice girl
- 54:50Speaker 3: and I have stingy cooch. You know? That's why they
- 54:54Speaker 3: say crazy bitches is good and bad. Because they're crazy.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Because they're not on lithium.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Because they're crazy. They should be on lithium, but they're not.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Yes.
- 55:01Speaker 2: So they're crazy, but their cooch still smells nice.
- 55:04Speaker 4: Yes.
- 55:05Speaker 2: But you tried to get healthy.
- 55:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:07Speaker 5: Took the lithium to make you less crazy.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Gave you a smelling coochie.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:11Speaker 2: So how, did they find another medication or are you
- 55:14Speaker 2: just not on anything?
- 55:15Speaker 3: I'm not on anything anymore because I felt- And you
- 55:18Speaker 3: have a baby to prove it. Yeah. Lithium also makes
- 55:20Speaker 3: me- a little like I just I just I'm happy
- 55:23Speaker 3: like I'm just like okay I'm very mellow and it's
- 55:26Speaker 3: just not me did.
- 55:27Speaker 5: You think it affected your like jokes and creativity it.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Definitely affected my creativity I think because I just don't
- 55:33Speaker 3: get angry at things anymore when I'm angry I write
- 55:35Speaker 3: good jokes yeah because you're invested you're emotional you're like
- 55:38Speaker 3: oh my gosh but I'm just I'm okay with everything
- 55:41Speaker 3: you need to be opinionated and you.
- 55:42Speaker 5: Need to be wanting to rant about something.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Yeah I was just like okay all right I'm like
- 55:48Speaker 3: who's this bitch I didn't like her.
- 55:52Speaker 5: There is this drug that people talk about called Retta.
- 55:56Speaker 5: Have you heard about Retta?
- 55:56Speaker 3: What's Retta?
- 55:57Speaker 2: Retta's like a new, it is a weight loss, like
- 56:02Speaker 2: an Ozempic.
- 56:03Speaker 3: Nice.
- 56:03Speaker 2: And I'm watching these people give their testimonies, you know, online.
- 56:08Speaker 2: And they're like, RETA is the greatest thing. You lose weight.
- 56:14Speaker 2: You also become super focused in, you know, whatever your
- 56:19Speaker 2: business is, you're cleaning things, you're, you know, doing, but
- 56:26Speaker 2: they're noticing that they aren't looking to have fall in
- 56:32Speaker 2: love or have sex or they're, and they're not like
- 56:36Speaker 2: wanting to be social or anything like that. They're only like,
- 56:40Speaker 2: it's like probably if you're like a sex addict and
- 56:43Speaker 2: you like to drink too much and you eat too much,
- 56:46Speaker 2: it's probably perfect for you for a while because you'll
- 56:49Speaker 2: just be focused on like cleaning your house, not eating,
- 56:54Speaker 2: not drinking and not being social.
- 56:57Speaker 5: But then a certain amount of time goes by.
- 56:59Speaker 2: This one guy said he went to a wedding and
- 57:02Speaker 2: And he just like felt nothing. Like he felt like
- 57:05Speaker 2: nothing about the love that was being shared or wanting
- 57:08Speaker 2: to pursue that kind of love. And he's like, I
- 57:11Speaker 2: think it's because I'm on this drug.
- 57:13Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. That's so interesting. Yeah.
- 57:16Speaker 2: I mean, it's, that's why I found your thing really.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I mean, it's funny, but it's also like interesting. It's
- 57:22Speaker 2: making you asexual, making you like asexual robot.
- 57:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Or you're just, yeah. The dopamine that you would get from,
- 57:29Speaker 2: From having sex with someone that you're attracted to, what
- 57:33Speaker 2: makes you fall in love with them is like not there.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 57:37Speaker 5: Yeah. It's kind of weird.
- 57:39Speaker 3: This would be good for someone who's an addict. That's
- 57:43Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Like if you're a sex addict or a love addict
- 57:45Speaker 2: or whatever, it could be.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Also pedophiles need to take that. Maybe. I don't know.
- 57:50Speaker 2: But I don't know if it works. I don't know
- 57:52Speaker 2: with them. I don't know if there's anything that can
- 57:55Speaker 2: cure that. So I want to talk about this. I
- 57:58Speaker 2: noticed that Chloe Fineman, she is on SNL. She's one
- 58:02Speaker 2: of the best impressionists. She does such good celebrity impressions.
- 58:07Speaker 5: She's pretty. She's very thin.
- 58:10Speaker 2: And according to the New York Post exclusive, she just
- 58:15Speaker 2: announced she was leaving NBC's late night sketch show SNL
- 58:19Speaker 2: after seven seasons. Which is interesting because the way I
- 58:23Speaker 2: always remembered it is that that's kind of the time
- 58:26Speaker 2: people leave. I don't know if the contract changes or
- 58:28Speaker 2: the contract is good for seven years or you go
- 58:32Speaker 2: up to seven years and then it's either you need
- 58:35Speaker 2: to sign another five or something.
- 58:37Speaker 5: So then people leave around seven.
- 58:40Speaker 2: But they said while she, she's 37, formed close friendships
- 58:45Speaker 2: with some co-stars, she didn't necessarily mesh with everybody necessarily.
- 58:48Speaker 5: Chloe could rub people the wrong way at times. Well,
- 58:52Speaker 5: who the fuck doesn't?
- 58:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:53Speaker 2: But, you know, I did not realize, and probably other
- 58:58Speaker 2: people didn't realize, she is like a scientist. She is
- 59:02Speaker 2: a Scientologist. And I don't really think that matters. I
- 59:07Speaker 2: think the people that I've known... throughout the years that
- 59:10Speaker 2: were Scientologists, in entertainment, they kind of keep that separate.
- 59:18Speaker 2: They're not trying to recruit you when they're at her level.
- 59:24Speaker 2: But she's also probably still a part of it. Because
- 59:26Speaker 2: they also.
- 59:28Speaker 5: Are so in it.
- 59:29Speaker 2: And I don't know if she is like a second
- 59:32Speaker 2: or third generation Scientologist or what, but when it comes
- 59:35Speaker 2: to entertainment, it's such a weird religion in that they like, um, they,
- 59:41Speaker 2: the people feel like their success is sort of dependent
- 59:43Speaker 2: on all these different weird things that they do within
- 59:46Speaker 2: the religion. So they don't really ever try to leave it.
- 59:50Speaker 2: And also they know all their, your secrets and all this. Yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 3: It's so interesting. I'm just curious because I know that Scientology,
- 59:57Speaker 3: sometimes they would offer free acting classes. Yes. You know,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: and sometimes it'll be very easy for someone who moved
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: to LA, cannot afford acting classes. And you meet Danny
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: DeVito in your acting class. What? You know, you're just like,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: sign me up. But when you are very successful and
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: super smart at doing those shows professionally, at which point
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: that you join when you are rich and successful. I
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: feel like it will be easier for someone to join
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: when they are broke and hopeless and just like, oh
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: my gosh, this is amazing. Free classes. I got new celebrities.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: I can't believe that anybody, that they're getting any new people.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Like there's been like so many exposés and stuff on it.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: I'm like, who is, I could see how some people
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: fell into it.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Five years ago, 10 years ago, 30 years ago, you know,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: trying to make it in Hollywood and walking in and
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: getting the free class and all of that.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: But you're right. Like, no, who's joining now.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: And, um, but I mean, I can also see why she's,
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: why she's leaving SNL because like, if you stay, some
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: people want to stay there forever. Like what's the one guy, Kenan,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: he's been there forever, but most people, it feels like, um,
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: I'm sure she met with her team and everything of
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: like when you need to make the leap so that
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: you can go and do something else. But of course,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: there's also that risk that you won't do anything else.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: But she has such a huge Instagram and TikTok following
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: too because she'll just come up with characters and do them.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Yeah, she's so pretty and she's really talented. I think
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: she's going to do well.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she will do perfectly fine. Did you ever
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: have a desire to do that kind of comedy?
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I can barely speak English. I can barely sound like myself.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: I don't know how do I. I'm just, I have
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: so much respect. I marry people who do impression. It's
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: such a gift. So talented. But I can write, like
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I can write a whole script. I write poetry and
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I wrote novels in China. So I can write it.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: a lot of things, create things with my pen and
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: my imagination. But my body as a vessel, I can't
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: do impression. And I just love my friends doing impression.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: I just hunt them down when I'm around my friend
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: or my friend Godfrey. I just keep begging them, please
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: say like this, talk like Trump, talk like this. It's amazing.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: So I really think she's going to do very well. Oh, yeah. Yeah,
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: but I think you're very funny. Like, someone's like, she
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: rubbed people the wrong way. Who doesn't?
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: It's just like, it's not even like, they want to
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: try to make her sound like she's difficult, but they
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: don't have any evidence. Let's say that.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: That seems like, yeah, someone was just trying. It's exclusive.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Like, this is like, exclusive to what? Not everybody liked you.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: You know, you got along with some of your co-stars,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: but not every single guest star that came on, not
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: every person at craft service is like, So stupid. Like,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I'm sure she was fine. Yeah. You said you were
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: working on your own. Do you have a sitcom coming out?
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: What do you have?
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Well, in development, I'm working on a TV show that
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: is inspired by my life. And then I have a
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: movie I've been working on for years. It was based
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: on my real life experience in Kentucky at a haunted
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: Kentucky ranch.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: When were you in Kentucky?
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: I went there in 2009. I got to Kentucky for college.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Before you had kids?
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Before I came to L.A., before I got into entertainment.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: When you went to college there, right?
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: Okay, I remember that. And you lived on a haunted ranch?
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lady that they need to hire someone,
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: basically do an in-house assistant. It was on Craigslist, and
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: I couldn't find a real job because I didn't have
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: a green card. I found that job, and they need this...
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: to drive them around and stuff. They hired me to
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: drive them around because the lady was blind. You know,
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: I was Asian. She told me how to drink.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: So you were just like her personal assistant that drove
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: her and did everything.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: While you were going to college.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Yeah. She told me how to drink. I'll be driving her.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: She'll be having the box wines. Okay. You gotta have some.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: This is the grape juice. Yeah, yeah. I just, I'm like,
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: this is, tastes like a piss. Like, oh, it's good
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: for you. So I started drinking because I was driving her.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I'll be like drinking. She'll be holding the box juice.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: I'll be drinking. She'll hold one for me, one for herself.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: She was a riot. She was a sweet, funny lady. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: So how was it haunted?
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it was just.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: She lived at this ranch with her?
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: I wasn't living there. And then she offered me something.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: She said, listen... You can live in an attic. I
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: didn't know attic is bad because I'm not American. Yeah.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: In the attic, you know, you can live there. I
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: was like, I can save my money because I just
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: got a car. I spent like $ 500 on this car.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: In my first car. I have a car now. I'm
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: a real, like, I used to have a bike so
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: I can really live a real life. I said, okay,
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: I can save money from my rent. I moved in there.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: It was... I don't see any ghost. I'm not delusional,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: but it's off. It feels off. I was in the attic.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: I just hear door knock. When I hear that, I laugh.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, what is this? And nobody. Really? Yeah.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: So you're living in the room. Yeah. It's the first night.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: And was the attic not high ceiling since you're in
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: an attic?
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: Was it like a pitched roof?
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Pitched roof.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: And just a little bed there?
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bed there. And I just hear a
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: door knock. And I just, I'm like, what is it?
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: And steps. And there's nobody who lives there, just her.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: And you open the door and no one's there?
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: No one's there. And then I went downstairs. I said,
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: also like my computer fell from bed. It was sitting there.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: It just fell. And then the things fell from the bookshelf.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: I was like, I asked her, what is it? Did
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: someone else come to visit? She said, oh, it's Betsy.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Who's Bitsy?
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Bitsy.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Oh, she died in the attic.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: How old was she when she died?
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: I asked her. She's like, oh, I don't know. She's
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: the mother of the owners of the house I bought
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: from them.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: She's nice. Bitsy's been around for a long time, but
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: she said she's nice.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Bitsy's nice.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Well, then why is she trying to break your computer
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: and throw shit around?
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: I'm like, what does Bitsy want? She goes, she's nice.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: I don't think she likes Chinese.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: No way.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: She said that. She's so funny. She's She's so funny.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: She's like, I'm sorry, but I don't think she's a
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: bad lady. She's just never seen your people. She's afraid
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: of you.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Now you're supposed to worry about the ghost being prejudiced
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: and discriminatory?
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it was so funny.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: And so how long did you live there with Bitsy
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: the ghost?
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: Three nights and I couldn't, it just keep going on.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: It just, there's like a song.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: Did it keep you up at night?
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Yeah, just the knocks.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: But did it make you less afraid because she was
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: so not weirded out by it? I wasn't as afraid.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Did it make you less afraid that it was just
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: a racist old female versus being a man? Because I
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: would always think About a ghost, I just think I
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: would immediately think like an old scary man, not.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Oh, scary. Old scary means worse than scary woman.
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: Yeah, like a man. I just would have thought, yeah.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: That's scary. I wasn't very afraid because I'm Chinese. I'm
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: saving almost $ 900 in rent. That's, I can, whatever, she can... Yeah,
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: she could spit on my face.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: But after three days, you had to leave.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: I couldn't. I remember that it's getting really... The sound is, like,
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: really loud. Like, footsteps going upstairs. I hear that. I
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: just want to laugh because... Am I crazy? Am I crazy?
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Because I know I'm crazy, so I'm afraid that maybe
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: I'm being crazy. Because I've been gaslighted my whole life,
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: you know, by my mom. And I open the doors, nothing.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: So I just started, like.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: I just thought like, okay, I think I should go
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: out and check what's going on. I walk outside. It's snowing.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: It's around Christmas. There's nothing. My car is outside the driveway.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: There's nothing. I went downstairs. Again, there's footsteps right there
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: over and over. I just kept going down and up.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: And I called my mom. I think something's wrong here.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: I hear steps and stuff. She's like, there's a ghost there,
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: I think. I think you should leave. She said, you
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: don't want to mess with ghosts. And I want to
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: leave immediately. I remember I just, it got, when I
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: want to leave, it just get more violent.
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: Did you believe that ghosts existed before this?
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: I see things like my grandmother, she believes in ghosts
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: and I see her getting possessed by ghosts. But again,
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: I didn't see ghosts coming in. She would talk like
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: someone who's already dead. Like an impressionist. She's the best impressionist.
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: Your grandmother was possessed by ghosts?
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: Yes. But I didn't know she's just good at impression
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: or she's actually... Because I don't see ghosts come like... oh,
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: you know, I just don't see it. And she she
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: would talk like the lady, her neighbor who had a
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: tongue cancer. She talked like this. She's not just like her.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, my God. I'm like, oh, your grandma's
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: possessed by this lady. I just laugh. I'm like, oh
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: my God, my grandma's so funny. She can talk like this,
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: that lady, just like her.
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: Oh my God.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: You know, I did Celebrity Ghost Story many years ago.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: I love that. I just love ghost stories. Because there's
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: something we don't know. We can't just say it's not real.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: I had a weird experience in a hotel room.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: And then when I was in the airport after leaving
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: that hotel, I got the call. saying, do you have
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: a ghost story? And I just thought that was a sign.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: So then I said, well, maybe this was a ghost.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: And then I had to kind of embellish the ghost
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: story to get on the TV show. But I mean,
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: they told me how much they were paying.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Me, $ 6, 000.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: To do the show for like three hours of work.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: So I was like, yeah, I have a ghost story.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: There was a ghost.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Because why would you call me in the airport right after?
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Because you know.
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: And, um, So yeah, so I did that.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: It was on A & E Celebrity Ghost Stories.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: And I mean, so many celebrities had a ghost story.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Clearly we weren't all, we didn't all really have a
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: ghost story, but we all really needed $ 6, 000. So yeah. Anyway,
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: I kind of, my ghost story was, I felt, I
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: did feel it was the weirdest kind of dream I
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: ever had, where I was in this hotel room and
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: I felt like, a man was in the bed with
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: me and kind of on top of me. And I
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: remember like feeling like a man's hairy arm. And I
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: didn't feel like anything like inserting inside me. It wasn't
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: like I was like raped by the ghost, but it
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: was something weird. And I just remember like wake up
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: in the morning and going, but I felt like I
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: was awake during that time. But it was like, I
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: just was like, oh, that must have been a really
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: weird dream.
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: And then when I had to.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Do my story, we kind of had to add some things.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: So it was like, oh, the air conditioning was hot
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: and cold all the time, but it really wasn't. Also,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: I kept misplacing a lip liner that weekend. So then
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: I was like, well, does this man, is this man
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: kind of like into cross-dressing? I don't know.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: But we added that to the story.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: That's amazing. Oh my gosh. It could also be Rosemary's baby,
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: but he didn't Because he was on the right drug,
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: he can't get his dick hard. You know? He's trying to, like,
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: give you a demon baby, but he's like, fuck, I'm
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: hot now, but I can fight drugs. Like, my dick's
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: not hard.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Remember, did you dream? Do you have weird dreams?
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Oh, I have very similar dream. I would think... It
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: was in Kentucky. I got in this new apartment. It
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: was a duplex, very old duplex. I was laying in bed.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: I can't move. It was night. And this man with
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: a fedora hat, he just walked right next to my
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: bedside and just started staring at me and got closer
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: and closer and closer to my face. I can't move.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: I can look at him.
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: But that was a dream.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: It should be a dream.
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: You think it was a dream or you think it
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: was a ghost? I think it was a dream.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Yeah. You know, when you have a nightmare. Yeah. That terror.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: So I just, I can see him. I just can't move.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Until I woke up. I got up. I'm like, oh
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: my God.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Yeah. But again, maybe, maybe I was a week, maybe
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: that was a ghost, but I didn't touch it. You know,
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: I don't have evidence of it. I wish I filmed it,
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: but again, you can't see ghosts, but you feel so
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: real though.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Like is your, I'm going to switch subjects a little
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: bit before we wrap up. Is your show that you're
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: working on, would it be like in front of a
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: live audience or do you think it'll be more like
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: a filmed single camera?
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I think it's a film and single camera. Oh, cool.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: And it's about your life here?
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: Yes. With your kids? Yes. Awesome.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: Well, I can't wait to see it. And you have
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: a bunch of dates.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: I want everybody, and this one was just one that
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: I popped up that's coming in September, but I know
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: you have international dates and everything.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: Where can everyone find you?
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: It's jiaoyingcomedy.com. And social media, Jogging Summers, everywhere.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: And you post a lot. You're so funny. And your
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: shows are great. And you have a stand-up special.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Yes, called What Species Are You on Hulu and Disney +.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: Then this tour is called the Pony. What's it called?
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: The Lucky Pony Tour.
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: The Lucky Pony Tour.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: How did you come up with that name? The year
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: is a horse. It's this year. And then my baby
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: is a horse. He's a little pony. Oh, cute. So
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: I think Lucky Pony because he's my lucky pony. Yes.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: A horse is a good sign. A horse is good. Yes,
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: You're a snake?
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: What are you?
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: I don't know. Do I tell you the date and
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: you'll tell me?
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: I just need the year.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: The year is 1970.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: It's dog. Oh. Dog is good.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: It is good.
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: What's bad?
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: That's awful. I mean, what is that?
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: That can't be. That means an entire, everybody born in
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: one year is a bad person or a good person? Yeah.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: It depends on the person, I think. Dog is like
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: a loyalty. Lucky. Yeah. Yeah, lucky. Yeah. Like it means
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: money because we say Wang Cai, Wang Cai. A dog
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: represents money.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: And then what snake represent, which is you?
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: Creativity, beauty, but vengeance. Oh. Like you have your bad
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: part of it. Oh, okay. Like every sign has, like
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: a dog is too kind.
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: And what's the best? Is dragon the best? I feel
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: like it is.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: Not really. Dragon, everything has a good and a bad.
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: Even pig. Pig would be, some pigs are like a rat.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: My daughter's a rat.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: My friend was just bit by a pig.
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Pig can bite people? Yes.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: I thought they were vegans. They're not vegans at all.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: No, we went to this beach where the pigs roam
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: in Bahamas. And my friend and her husband, she wanted
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: to feed them all this food. They said, don't feed them.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: But she wanted to because she thinks she's like, you know,
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: helping the pigs. And he had all this chicken and
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: this one big ugly pig just.
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: bit his leg. I was not into the pigs at all.
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: No, they're ugly. I was.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: They were not cute.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: No.
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: I was like.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: There's... I swam onto the shore where the pigs were
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: because she said to just swim from the big boat.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: And I'm like.
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: There's shit in this.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: They're shitting.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: They're pigs.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: It was so, it's not, nobody do the pig beach thing.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: I really, it's not cute.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: No.
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: It's not cute. And they live there and they will
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: bite you.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: They don't deserve to live on the beach. No.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: Well, I'm so excited for everything that you're doing.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: And I'm so glad you came back.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: I love being around you. When I see you, just like,
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: you're so beautiful, so funny, and so kind. Oh, thanks.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Love you too.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: Bye.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Love you.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: TaxAssist.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: We can do more for you.
