Mega Edition: The Battle To Unseal The Epstein Court Documents In Florida (6/1/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: Back to the Epstein chronicles. As you're all aware, we
0:04
are at the Christmas break for the trial, so obviously
0:08
there's nothing groundbreaking happening in the mornings or even in
0:12
the evenings at this point. But that's okay, because we're
0:15
still going to be here adding some context, and we're
0:19
going to do that today by talking about the grand
0:22
jury transcripts from Palm Beach. Now, there was a lot
0:28
of talk a few weeks ago that this judge was
0:31
going to release these grand jury transcripts, and that would
0:36
have been a huge boost in the arm for transparency.
0:41
We all know that whatever went on in that grand
0:44
jury room in two thousand and six, it was not good,
0:49
all right. Whatever was going on in that grand jury
0:52
room based on that arrest was not up to par.
0:58
And the fact that only one of those roles was
1:00
able to give their story in front of the grand
1:03
jury tells you everything you need to know about the
1:07
prosecutors and about the whole entire scenario that unfolded this
1:17
prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein. The original prosecution was legitimately one
1:24
of the biggest travesties of justice perhaps ever. When you
1:30
look at the grand scope of it, all, and you
1:32
look at the disgusting nature of his crimes and the
1:39
wake of misery he left. I mean, it's hard not
1:44
to look at it like that. And the fact that
1:48
Barry Krisher and the State Prosecutor's Office in Florida worked
1:52
hand in hand with Dershowitz and Leftkowitz and the rest
1:56
of Jeffrey Epstein's legal team to not only get him off,
2:00
but to destroy his own witnesses, Barry Kirsher's own witnesses,
2:05
meaning these girls, is just unbelievable to me. And you
2:11
have this judge down there in Palm Beach, you know,
2:13
one of the good old boys, one of the been
2:16
around forevers, still mucking things up, still not interested in transparency.
2:25
You would think, after all these years and all of
2:28
the scrutiny over the Jeffrey Epstein case, that some of
2:31
these judges would wise up by now. But like I
2:34
always say, they think they're feudal lords and these courtrooms
2:38
are their fiefdoms and they can do whatever they want.
2:42
And these lifetime elected, lifetime appointed judges bad news. Folks
2:49
talk about people who are power hungry. Every now and
2:51
then you'll run across one of these judges like this
2:54
guy and you just shake your head. But there's been
2:59
a lot of them when it comes to the Jeffrey
3:01
Epstein case. A lot of these judges, a lot of
3:05
these people in positions of power, have failed these girls
3:09
time and time again. And with this latest blow, this
3:15
judge not going to release these transcripts. It's just another
3:19
victory for the scumbags and just another hurdle in the
3:23
way of those who are trying to bring those scumbags
3:27
to justice. This morning, we have an article from the
3:31
Palm Beach Post and the author is Jane Musgrave. Was
3:36
the Jeffrey Epstein case intentionally sunk? Judge won't excuse me,
3:41
Judge won't release secret grand jury papers, And again it
3:46
just it's another blow to transparency, it's another blow to
3:51
those of us who want the truth, and it just
3:55
again throws up another curtain over what everybody perceives at
4:03
this point is government malfeasans. You would think that they'd
4:08
want to expose that, right, you would think that they'd
4:10
want to put that on blast, But that's not how
4:13
it works. They're going to cover your ass mode and
4:17
they got to protect the other scumbags that they work
4:20
with and it's just such a dog and pony show
4:23
at this point, and the illusion that there's a fair
4:28
justice system, the illusion that there isn't a two tier
4:32
justice system is being shattered on a regular basis at
4:36
this point. A Palm Beach County Circuit judge on Monday
4:42
refused to release secret documents that could explain why a
4:45
two thousand and six grand jury indicted serial child molester
4:49
Jeffrey Epstein on a single charge of prostitution despite evidence
4:54
that showed he abused more than a dozen girls at
4:56
his Palm Beach mansion. Now let that sink in those
5:00
of you who aren't really completely up to date on
5:03
the case, you know, those of you who have, you know,
5:05
had a life for the last three years. This might
5:09
seem like, what the hell are you talking about here?
5:11
How is that even possible? But this is what they've
5:14
been dealing with, meaning the survivors from the beginning, law
5:19
enforcement has not been on their side. Law enforcement, in fact,
5:23
a lot of the time has worked against them. And
5:26
you see it here again when you have this judge
5:31
who makes the decision that these grand jury documents will
5:35
not see the light of day, as if it's some
5:37
sort of national security issue where nobody should ever see
5:41
those grand jury documents. Now, I understand if there was
5:46
a legitimate reason, a legitimate issue, keeping those documents from
5:50
the public, But there's no legitimate reason, unless, of course,
5:54
you're trying to cover for somebody, unless, of course, you're
5:57
trying to protect your friends in a In a ten
6:04
page order circuit, Judge Donald Haffl rejected arguments by attorneys
6:09
for the Palm Beach Post who pushed him to release
6:12
the records, citing a rarely used state law that allows
6:15
the secrecy of grand of the grand jury to be
6:18
pierced to further the interests of justice. And if this
6:22
isn't a case where that hits home, I don't know
6:25
what is. These grand jury testimony should be on the
6:30
uh uh uh uh excuse me released. They shouldn't be
6:37
hidden from the public for all of these years, especially
6:42
if it moves the interests of justice, and it certainly would,
6:45
considering the non prosecution agreement is based on all of this,
6:51
So to get rid of that non prosecution agreement, wouldn't
6:55
it stand to reason that having these grand jury documents
6:58
released would go a long way to making that occur.
7:06
While halfel noted the newspaper offered strong arguments. He said
7:10
he was bound by the state's law. The court rules
7:13
against the newspaper because the established and binding maxims of
7:17
Florida law constrain it to do so, Halfley wrote. Halfly wrote,
7:22
and again we know that that's not one hundred percent
7:26
the case. If it promotes the interest of justice, as
7:29
according to the state law in Florida, then the documents
7:32
can be released, the transcripts can be released. But they
7:35
don't have any interest in doing that. Him, the other
7:38
judge that's involved in this, Krystal Marx, all of them
7:41
had ties to Barry Krisher or other people involved in
7:44
the case. That's how these things work with these bureaucrats.
7:48
They're all friends, they're all going to the same company functions,
7:53
and on and on and on it goes. We've discussed
7:56
it a lot here on this podcast. You're not buying
7:59
the lawyer or for what they're going to do in
8:01
the courtroom. For the most part, you're paying for a
8:04
lawyer for the connections they have outside of the courtroom,
8:09
for the access they can get you to the prosecutor's office.
8:14
Why do you think in a situation like Maxwell's she
8:18
hires somebody like Christian everde ex prosecutor has a lock
8:22
with the SDNY knows all of the prosecutors. They're all
8:26
probably chummy. They probably go to barbecues together, you know
8:29
what I'm talking about. While state law allows the release
8:36
of grand jury records to further the interest of justice,
8:39
he said, it is clear the legislature intended that exception
8:43
to be used only in pending criminal or civil cases.
8:47
So just because this happened a while back, and now
8:50
Epstein's dead, let's just forget it ever happened, We'll just
8:53
move on. And you know what it is, what it is. Sorry,
8:56
the girls who are victimized, no justice for them, basically
9:00
what this judge is saying. And I mean it shouldn't
9:04
shock anybody considering, you know what we see these judges
9:08
do on a regular basis from the bench here in America.
9:11
But you would think that something like this, with all
9:15
of the interests surrounding it, all of the questions that
9:19
still need to be answered, that if you were a judge,
9:22
you'd say to yourself, you know what, in the interests
9:24
of justice, in the interests of moving the truth forward,
9:28
I'm going to release these transcripts and that's what the
9:32
law is put on the books for. But unfortunately this
9:35
judge didn't want to interpret the interpret it that way. Instead,
9:40
the newspaper advocates a more expensive interpretation of the term.
9:44
He wrote, the newspaper wants the ability to publish the
9:47
materials and reference them and its reporting, and also to
9:51
make the materials available to the public. Yeah, that's how
9:54
this works, judge. Okay, the public is interested in a
9:57
case that's probably one of the most corre up the
10:00
all time. So yeah, there is going to be a
10:03
bit of hesitancy to trust you. There is going to
10:07
be a bit of cynicism when it comes to court rulings,
10:11
and the fact that you want to keep this stuff
10:13
away from the public is just going to feed into
10:17
conspiracy theories and outlandish thoughts. The government plays a huge
10:24
part in all of that. They could stem and stop
10:28
a whole bunch of the conspiracy stuff with a whole
10:30
lot of different topics if they just stop their bullshit.
10:34
But they don't want to ever be transparent. They want
10:36
to keep everything private. Everything's a national security issue, isn't it,
10:41
And that's what they'll say, Or if you're looking to
10:44
get information about something, say like Jeffrey Epstein's first alleged
10:48
suicide attempt. What they'll say is the information is unavailable
10:52
because it's still part of an ongoing investigation, and that
10:55
ongoing investigation has to do with Tartaglioni. So they'll just
11:00
run you in circles for as long as possible, and
11:04
if somehow you do get some Freedom of Information Act
11:07
information from them, it'll be heavily redacted or partial. You'll
11:12
never get the full story like the newspapers. Attorneys. Halfel
11:20
said the transcripts could help answer troublesome questions about why
11:24
the politically connected, multimillionaire pedophile escaped serious punishment. Some claim
11:30
that then state Attorney Barry Krisher was improperly influenced by
11:33
Epstein's high octane defense team. I agree with that. I
11:36
definitely think he was. When you go back and you
11:39
look at all of the documentation, and you look at
11:41
the reporting, and you look at how things broke, it's
11:46
very obvious that he wasn't working as an advocate for
11:50
these survivors, and neither was the Prosecutor's Office of Florida
11:54
or a hell, the federal prosecutor's office either, because remember,
11:58
while LaCosta was the one who who was the direction man, right,
12:03
the guy who was considered the quote unquote boss on
12:07
the ground, he had people to answer to as well.
12:10
He's just a mid level bureaucrat. He don't make decisions
12:13
like this. He had to kick that up the chain
12:15
to move Mukzi and the rest of them. So they
12:20
all failed from the top down, from the federal government
12:23
all the way down to the state and now all
12:26
the way back to this judge. Absolute failures a top
12:30
of absolute failures. It may very well be that the
12:36
disclosure of Jeffrey Epstein's grand jury records could reveal the
12:39
fair treatment did not occur, and that mister Epstein might
12:43
have escaped appropriate punishment through some failing of our justice system.
12:47
Haffel said, yeah, well, how about releasing the documents then instead,
12:54
you'll just sit on them, right like a dragon hoarding
12:57
its gold. Post. Hasn't decided whether to appeal, but he
13:03
said state law can't be ignored on a whim or
13:05
to satisfy the public's curiosity. The court's interpretation of the
13:09
scope of the state law end of the phrase furthering
13:12
justice is governed and constrained by the established rules of
13:16
statutory construction, Halfley wrote. Attorneys for the posts said they
13:21
were reviewing the order and had not yet decided whether
13:25
to appeal. I really hope they do. I mean, I
13:28
know it's an extra cost on them to appeal stuff
13:32
like this, and the attorney fees get to be a
13:35
bit excessive, but you would think that in the interest
13:38
of justice, in the interest of transparency, that they would
13:44
release this documentation. And really what it comes down to
13:49
is this judge's interpretation of the law. That's all it is.
13:52
Trying to get home. Distress said state law can't be
13:54
ignored on a whim or to satisfy the public's curiosity.
14:01
In a statement, a comptroller and Clerk of the Courts,
14:04
Joe Abruzzo, said that while he hired a top media
14:07
lawyer to represent his office in the lawsuit, he wasn't
14:10
against the newspaper's request. While Florida's statute is clear on
14:14
its prohibition of releasing information from grand jury cases, I
14:18
want to be clear that I have absolutely no objection
14:21
to releasing grand jury information in the Epstein case if
14:24
directed by the court. A Bruso said, So what the
14:28
comptroller is saying, look, I'll release this information, but I
14:31
have to be directed to do so by the court.
14:33
That's the only way that I can release this. And
14:37
once again it goes back to the judges, these guys
14:40
running around like their Taiwan lanister in the courtroom. He
14:49
hired Shane Voight, a Tampa attorney who won a one
14:51
hundred and forty million dollars verdict against Gawker on behalf
14:55
of retired professional wrestler Hulk Cogan and has represented others
14:59
in fights against news outlets, to represent the office. During
15:05
a hearing on October twenty second, Void argued that if
15:08
half of approved the newspaper's request, it would open the
15:12
floodgates for others to do the same. Well, so what
15:15
open the floodgates and then on a case by case
15:17
basis decide what should or what shouldn't be released? Why
15:21
is that so difficult? Oh? Is it going to cause
15:24
extra work for the clerks? God forbid? I mean, are
15:29
we supposed to just slow everything down? And you know, oh, well,
15:35
let's wait on things here, because you know, we don't
15:37
have enough time or enough people. I don't even understand
15:42
what any of it means the floodgates will open. Well,
15:46
if they're legitimate requests, then maybe the floodgates need to
15:49
be opened. Halfele said he could craft a narrow order
15:55
that would assure the clerk wouldn't be inundated with demands
15:58
for grand jury records. Still, he said, after reviewing the law,
16:02
he determined the documents must remain secret. State attorney Dave
16:06
Ahrenberg declined to comment on Halfle's decision. While the paper
16:11
initially named him in the lawsuit, he was dropped after
16:14
he claimed he didn't have the records. Executives of the newspaper,
16:18
which is owned by Gannet Gannet Company, said they were
16:21
disappointed by Halfle's decision. Yeah, you would think so. Right.
16:25
As a newspaper organization, the idea is to get as
16:29
much information to the public as possible, let the public decide.
16:33
And what better way to do that than to provide
16:37
raw data such as transcripts. I don't need the middleman, right,
16:41
provide us with the transcripts, provide us with the information
16:44
that we need, and let us decide what's going on
16:47
here as the public. But no, they'll keep everything hidden.
16:52
And then what he'll do is he'll cite some obscure
16:55
law here. Oh, well, it'll cause a flood of other requests,
16:59
and all of it is nonsense. Whenever I hear any
17:02
of this stuff, all I hear is no, we don't
17:04
want to be transparent. No, you can't know the truth.
17:07
That's basically what I hear every time they start in
17:10
on the nonsense. While the Post appreciates the court's consideration
17:16
of the issues, we respectfully disagree with the legal conclusion
17:20
that public access to the Epstein grand jury materials is
17:24
not warranted under the circumstances, said Marrable Perez Wadsworth, president
17:29
of Gannett News USA Today Network and publisher of USA Today.
17:34
It is our right and responsibility to report all aspects
17:37
of this case, and we will continue to diligently seek
17:40
the facts in our pursuit of transparency. Can argue with
17:44
that and props to them for doing it. I mean,
17:48
is it too much to ask to have some transparency
17:52
or as the public to have the proper information in
17:55
a case that is so important. Post Executive editor Rich
18:04
Christy echoed those sentiments. For sixteen years, the Post has
18:08
been driven to report on the heinous acts of Jeffrey
18:10
Epstein for two reasons, justice for the victimized girls and
18:15
accountability for our readers. He said, today's ruling by Circuit
18:19
Judge Haffl, while disappointing, does not deter us from our
18:23
mission of furthering justice for Epstein's young victims. The Post
18:27
will always fight to shine a spotlight wherever it is
18:30
needed to expose the actions or in actions of those
18:34
charged with serving and protecting the public period. He concluded, Hey,
18:38
I'll tell you what, I'm all for that, and I'll
18:40
be right here with you, Ryde and Shotgun as far
18:43
as trying to get these transcripts, because it's a big deal.
18:48
It's a huge deal. And I can't express enough how
18:52
important that non prosecution agreement is in protecting these people. Still,
18:57
and all of this plays such a huge part that
19:03
the ruling was a blow to efforts to unravel the
19:06
sordid case that grabbed international attention. It also came on
19:10
a day that a federal jury in New York began
19:13
deliberating whether Epstein's longtime girlfriend co conspirator Glen Maxwell recruited
19:19
in groom teen's for his pleasure. The fifty nine year
19:22
old British socialite co conspirator, general all around scusbag bipedal
19:26
Serpent faces a lengthy prison term if connected if convicted
19:30
of multiple charges in connection with the sex trafficking scheme.
19:34
During the October hearing, the newspaper's attorneys argued that the
19:37
case was unique. More than fifteen years has passed. Epstein
19:41
is dead, so none of the information can be used
19:44
against him. The sixty six year old financier pedophile who
19:48
counted former President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew his friends,
19:53
hung himself allegedly in a Manhattan jail cell in August
19:56
twenty nineteen while awaiting trial on dozens of sex trafficking
20:00
charges in New York. Again, he's dead. None of this
20:06
information can be used against him or anything like that.
20:09
So I don't understand how it won't be released. Now. Look,
20:12
if he was still alive and there was a chance
20:15
that this information could be used or all right, I
20:18
get it. I might not agree with it, but I
20:20
get it. I don't agree with it, and I don't
20:22
get it in this instance. The guy's dead, he's rotting.
20:26
It's time for transparency. A dozen girls said they were
20:33
sexually abused. Only one testified as part of a twenty
20:37
nineteen investigation titled The First Failure. Sources familiar with the
20:42
grand jury proceedings told the Post that while more than
20:45
a dozen teens told Palm Beach police that Epstein molested them,
20:49
only one, a fourteen year old girl, was called to testify.
20:53
And this is what I talk about a lot in
20:55
reference how only one girl was called to give testimony,
20:58
and how it flash's shades to what we saw here
21:02
in the Maxwell trial with only four girls being called. Well,
21:06
I understand the scopes a little bit different. It's just
21:09
for those of us who have been through this already,
21:12
it's concerning to see the sources said. Krisher's top lieutenants
21:20
villified the team. Instead of focusing on the abuse she
21:23
suffered at the hands of the wealthy pedophile, they quizzed
21:26
her about her social media activity, which included references to
21:30
boys and drinking. Her posts on her MySpace page were
21:33
given were given to Kersher by Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz,
21:39
one of Epstein's top flight attorneys. And that was the
21:42
strategy then, it's the strategy now, and it'll continue to
21:45
be the strategy until these juries wake up and start
21:49
convicting these people. We all know that the girls were
21:53
absolutely destroyed by not only the authorities, but by Epstein's attorneys. Oh,
22:00
they were talking to boys, they were smoking weed, they
22:02
drank on their MySpace page. Really, let me ask you,
22:07
how many of you out there, as young teenagers didn't
22:10
do any of those things? I know we all did.
22:12
I know I did. If you're gonna base my life
22:15
on what I did as a young man, then boy,
22:18
I'll tell you I'd be in big trouble. Her alleged
22:25
treatment by state prosecutors could explain why grand jurors indicted
22:29
Epstein on the lone prostitution charge instead of multiple counts
22:33
of child molestation that were sought by the police. The
22:39
prostitution charge ignored the tender age of Epstein's accusers and
22:43
the fact that teens under the age of eighteen couldn't
22:45
legally consent to sex. We've talked about that from the
22:48
jump too. How can you even call a girl under
22:51
eighteen a prostitute when they can't even consent to sex?
22:55
How is that? Even logical legal experts say prosecutors will
23:02
tremendous influence over grand jurors who aren't skilled in the law. Cynically,
23:07
some embrace a time honored maxim that a prosecutor, if
23:10
he desired, could indict a ham Sandwich, And this is
23:13
a fact as well. You know, the grand jury rooms
23:18
are places where indictments definitely come down at a huge swell.
23:24
The statement you get a ham Sandwich indicted at a
23:27
grand jury certainly rings true because it's something that a
23:32
lot of people talk about who are in the know.
23:37
After his death, scores of young women came forward publicly
23:40
describing how Epstein sexually assaulted them at his home in
23:43
Palm Beach, his penthouse apartment in Manhattan, his ranch in
23:46
New Mexico, and his private island in the Virgin Islands.
23:50
Some said he forced them to have sex with his
23:52
celebrity friends while aboard his private jet, the Lolita Express.
23:57
Many teen victims were from Palm Beach County, like teens
24:01
from Royal Palm Beach and John I. Leonard High Schools.
24:05
Many were allured to Epstein's homes with the promise of
24:07
being paid two hundred dollars to give him a massage.
24:11
He greeted them wearing little more than a towel. He
24:14
offered to pay them more to disrobe, let him fondle them,
24:17
and to have sex. Boy, what does that all sound like?
24:20
Sounds like a bunch of testimony we just heard, doesn't it.
24:24
Imagine this testimony mirrors that testimony. And if they would
24:28
have actually done their job during this first arrest and
24:32
had more than one of the victims give their testimony
24:36
to the Grand Jerry, a lot of this could have
24:38
been stopped. Perhaps the girls, some from hardscrabble backgrounds, were
24:47
promised careers in high fashion college educations or other perchs
24:51
that were beyond their reach. The Grand Jerry marked the
24:54
beginning of when the case spun out of control. Angry
24:58
at Chrishier's handling, at at his agent's, angry at Krisher's
25:02
handling of his agency's investigation, Palm Beach Police Chief Michael
25:06
Ryder went to the FBI. Ultimately, in his secret deal,
25:10
South Florida attorney Alex Acosta agreed to shell of a
25:14
fifty three page federal indictment against Epstein if he would
25:17
plead guilty to state prostitution charges. And now, remember, it's
25:21
not just a costa here. He's the scumbag with no spine,
25:25
no doubt about it. And he deserves his infamy for
25:28
his role. But he wasn't the one who made the decision.
25:32
He might have been the one who filed it up
25:34
the chain of command, but he didn't okay it, that's
25:38
for sure. As part of the so called non prosecution agreement,
25:44
Krisher added a charge of solicitation of a minor for prostitution.
25:48
Federal prosecutors insisted on the second charge because it would
25:52
force Epstein to register as a sex offender. Howd that
25:55
work out in New Mexico. Oh, that's right. He didn't
25:57
have to register there because he knew he planned all
26:01
of this. He took precautions. On June thirtieth, two thousand
26:09
and eight, Epstein pleaded guilty in Palm Beach County Circuit
26:13
Court to both prostitution charges. He served thirteen months of
26:17
an eighteen month sentence in a largely vacant wing of
26:20
the county stockade. He was given liberal work release privileges.
26:24
He was allowed to spend up to twelve hours a day,
26:27
six days a week working at a private foundation he
26:30
created months earlier. The fallout from what one state prosecutor
26:34
described as the deal of the century was far reaching.
26:38
If delayed, and not only was Epstein out, according to
26:42
some of these other accusers, he was abusing them while
26:45
he was out on this work release program. Fantastic job
26:49
done by the federal government. Huh, fantastic job done by
26:53
the Florida state authorities. After Epstein was charged in New York,
26:59
a cost Of designed as former President Donald Trump's labor secretary.
27:03
When questions were raised about his involvement in crafting the
27:06
non prosecution agreement before his resignation, a Costa sought to
27:10
blame Krisher. He claimed he was forced to clean up
27:12
a mess Krisher created when the state prosecutor refused to
27:16
file serious charges against Epstein. Acosta pointed out that Krisher
27:20
originally offered to allow Epstein to plead guilty to aggravate
27:24
an assault, serve no jail time, and have the felony
27:27
record a raised if he complied with the terms of
27:29
his probation. That was unacceptable, Acosta said during a nationally
27:34
televised news conference. So basically, it's a point him game, right,
27:39
you did it, I did it, he did it, she
27:41
did it. And in reality, what they do is they
27:44
cause enough confusion then that nobody's held responsible. Krisher responded
27:52
that Acosta was attempting to rewrite history. In a prepared statement,
27:57
he said, I can emphatically state that mister acosta recollection
28:00
of this matter is completely wrong. A federal investigation in
28:04
twenty twenty found that a Costa place too much trust
28:07
in Krisher. A two year state investigation completed last year
28:12
concluded that Krisher had little input into the nonprofit prosecution
28:16
agreement and found no wrongdoing. State investigators were denied access
28:21
to the grand jury proceedings. So not only has the
28:25
public locked out, they locked out the state investigators who
28:28
were investigating wrongdoing. Here in the FDL report. Yeah, nothing
28:34
to see here, folks, keep on moving. Everything is just fine.
28:38
We're all fine. After Epstein died, authorities in the US
28:45
Virgin Islands worked with those who were administering his estate
28:48
to set up a fund to compensate his victims. They
28:51
wrapped up their work in August after paying slightly more
28:54
than one hundred and twenty one million to more than
28:56
one hundred and thirty five people, according to the New
28:59
York Time. Yes, look, this is a situation that, obviously,
29:03
as you can tell here, has been going on for
29:05
quite some time, and there was hope that this judge
29:09
was going to release these grand jury documents. Well that's
29:13
not going to occur. So the battle continues for transparency, folks,
29:17
and we'll continue to report on it and we'll continue
29:20
to talk about it until there's some movement and we
29:24
finally get a glimpse behind the curtain. All right, folks,
29:30
that's gonna do it for me today, and I'll be
29:33
back later on obviously with a evening update and expect
29:37
some more context episodes as well. If you'd like to
29:41
contact me, you can do that at Bobby Kapouchi at
29:44

29:59
The link that we discussed can be found in the
30:01
districts dot com. What's up everyone, and welcome back to
30:04
the Epstein Chronicles. One of the biggest battles when it
30:08
comes to transparency in the overall case of Jeffrey Epstein
30:12
has been down in Florida, where there has been a
30:16
battle raging over the grand jury documents for what seems
30:20
like forever and there's still really been no movement when
30:24
it comes to these documents. Now, the state of Florida
30:28
will tell you that it's very important to keep these
30:31
documents secret. Even if Jeffrey Epstein's dead, even if the
30:36
person that we're talking about is no longer around, we
30:39
still have to keep these documents secret. Why what purpose
30:44
does it serve? I mean, especially when we're talking about
30:48
a case with such public interest and that has such
30:52
a reverberating effect in the justice system as a whole.
30:56
Don't you think you'd want to put this all on
30:59
blast and bring this all to light finally, and all
31:02
of the rumors and all of the conspiracy theories. You know,
31:07
it's funny when they talk about conspiracy theories, by the way,
31:10
a lot of them are created by the lack of
31:13
transparency within these institutions. And unless we're talking about national defense,
31:19
like legit national defense, I don't want to hear anything about, oh,
31:23
this is secret Layer's documents can't be seen by people.
31:27
Why what purpose is there to keep these grand jury
31:32
documents from the public, unless, of course you're just trying
31:36
to protect your friends and government who fumble the ball,
31:42
the ones who should have had Jeffrey Epstein locked up
31:45
the ones that should have protected these girls. None of
31:48
that happened, none of it. So now, instead of just
31:53
being transparent and putting everything on blast for people to see,
31:57
they continue to try and hide things they cantinue to
32:00
hide behind loopholes and technicalities and all the rest of it,
32:05
while the battle for justice and the battle for these
32:10
ladies getting some restitution continues to rage on. But we
32:15
shouldn't expect anything less down in Florida. We've seen what
32:18
kind of shit show that that place is. I mean, look,
32:22
just take a look at the Gabby Potito case, then
32:25
you look at Jeffrey Epstein, and then read about Florida
32:27
Man and all the rest of it. And I have
32:30
zero confidence in the authorities in Florida, folks, zero confidence.
32:37
It would be real nice, though, if finally somebody, anybody
32:42
would step up here and say, you know what, we're
32:45
gonna push hard to get this stuff out into the
32:48
light so the public can get a look and then
32:50
we can do away with all of the conspiracy theories.
32:54
But no, they don't want to do that. Do you
32:56
know why, Because a lot of this stuff is not
33:00
conspiracy theory. A lot of this stuff is fat. And
33:06
that's the thing that we have seen throughout these years.
33:08
The things that they called a conspiracy theory, Bill Gates
33:11
hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, the list goes on, has
33:14
actually turned out to be factual. And I have no
33:18
doubt if we took a look at these grand jury documents,
33:21
we'd find out that all of the stuff we've been
33:24
talking about, as far as how the girls from the
33:28
first time around when Epstein was arrested got railroaded by
33:31
not only Epstein's lawyers but by the prosecutors. And I'm
33:36
sure we'd find all of that out with this grand
33:38
jury documentation. It would be a nice roadmap there. And that,
33:43
my friends, is why they don't want to release it.
33:46
So let's check out this article from the Palm Beach
33:49
Post and let's see what author Jane Musgrave has to say.
33:57
Headline built to release Epstein's pomp Each County grand jury
34:01
records debated in legislature. Voicing concern about dismantling a cornerstone
34:08
of the state's criminal justice system, the Florida Senate on
34:11
Friday made it clear they weren't prepared to consider legislation
34:16
that would let the public view grand jury records that
34:19
could reveal why Jeffrey Epstein wasn't charged with molesting teens
34:23
more than a decade ago. Oh isn't that nice. You know,
34:26
down there in Florida, they really got their shit together, right,
34:29
They really have things rocking and rolling, and they know
34:32
where their priorities are. Instead, they'll get busy with some
34:38
more tribalism, I'm sure, and more stuff that really has
34:42
no effect on your life. But it looks good, right,
34:44
the political theater of it all. That's what it's all about.
34:47
The optics. Oh well, let's throw a little red meat
34:50
to our base. Meanwhile, real people everywhere, like you and
34:54
me and the majority of the people on this planet, well,
34:58
we want real news. We want impactful news. We want
35:02
news that actually affects our lives, and this sort of
35:05
thing most certainly does. Senator Tina Palsky, Democrat from Boca Ratan,
35:12
who prepared the measure at the request of Palm Beach
35:15
County Clerk of Courts Joe Abruso, said she didn't expect
35:19
it to come to a vote. She said she offered
35:21
the amendment to a general bill so fellow lawmakers would
35:25
be aware of it when she brings it back next year.
35:28
So this is a posturing move, right, They're going to
35:30
put it in this bill right now, so they make
35:33
the other members of the House aware of what's going on.
35:36
That way, when she brings it to full table next
35:41
term next time around, that everybody's prepared for what the
35:45
bill is and what it says. That's what she's saying here.
35:48
My question is, why does it have to be a
35:52
drawn out, long process, like nobody knows what went on here.
35:55
This isn't all new. You don't need to sit down
35:57
with your team and go through things. The evidence is
36:01
all there, the information is all there. What are you
36:03
waiting for? I fully intended to withdraw it when I
36:08
proposed it, She said. The measure was narrowly tailored. It
36:12
would allow the release of secret records only if the
36:15
subject of the Grand Jerry inquiry is deceased and the
36:18
testimony was previously disclosed to law enforcement. Well, I don't
36:23
see how that's a big deal. Why wouldn't they be
36:25
okay with that. The person's deceased, the stuff has already
36:29
been disclosed to law enforcement, So what is the big
36:33
deal again? It just goes to show you they want
36:36
to hide things. They like to keep things as private
36:38
as possible. They talk about, oh, yeah, we want to
36:41
be transparent, but people have a right to know. And
36:45
then when we have a serious situation such as this
36:48
that literally rocks the institutions we're supposed to trust, they
36:52
don't want to do anything to try and bridge the gap.
36:55
They don't want to do anything to try and make
36:57
it seem like they even care about transparency, because at
37:02
the end of the day, they don't, none of them do.
37:04
What they'll do is they'll say, oh, this is an
37:06
ongoing investigation. We can't give you any information about any
37:10
of this. It's just so ridiculous. It's over and over
37:14
and over again, especially in this case. The proposal was
37:20
unlikely to affect any other case than the two thousand
37:23
and six Grand jerry that ultimately indicted Epstein on only
37:27
a single charge of solicitation of prostitution, but Polsky said
37:31
lawmakers voice concern that it hadn't properly been vetted. I mean,
37:36
come on, already, how many of these lawmakers were friendly
37:39
with Epstein or friends with Epstein's friends. Again, I hate
37:43
to be cynical, but what's the reasoning here. Why not
37:46
just blow the doors off of this. You would think
37:49
that all of these senators or state lawmakers would understand
37:52
that the majority, the vast majority of people want to know,
37:58
and they don't care about your upid little loopholes or
38:01
your dumb technicalities or the reasons why you can't do this.
38:05
You're the lawmakers. You're the ones in charge put a
38:08
new law in the books, very simple like this, like
38:11
she's trying to do here. But with all of the
38:13
vetting and the nonsensical bs, all they do is give
38:16
you the run around. Right, go ahead and try and
38:19
call your local congressmen or congresswoman's office and see if
38:22
you get to talk to them. You'll get some staffer.
38:25
They'll give you the run around half the time. They're miserable,
38:29
these bureaucrats. They've forgotten that they work for us, and
38:33
it's about time that they're reminded. Folks. It's threading a
38:39
very thin needle, she said. It's trying to strike a
38:42
balance between the privacy of those who testify before a
38:45
grand jury and the public's right to know. Here's another idea.
38:49
Why don't you send out a waiver and see if
38:51
the people who testified are willing to waive the privacy
38:55
of the grand jury proceedings. And if so, then what's
38:58
the problem. See, the thing is again, they don't really
39:02
want this stuff to be public. They'll act like they do,
39:04
they'll posture like they do because they know that the
39:08
vast majority of voters out there want this shit to
39:11
be exposed. But when it comes down to actually getting
39:14
into the fight, getting their hands dirty, they never do it.
39:18
They put it off. Ah, well, the legislature says, and
39:21
nobody wants to really step up to the plate and
39:24
do the right thing here. Prosecutors can often convince people
39:29
to provide critical testimony to a grand jury by promising
39:33
that their identities and their statements will remain secret, she said.
39:37
A bruso, who signed a sixty thousand dollars contract with
39:40
lobbying powerhouse Ballard Partners to push for the passage of
39:44
the measure said he knew it would be an uphill battle. Well, look,
39:48
at least a bruso here is trying to get this
39:50
stuff released, at the very least, you know, making the
39:54
motions because the Senate body here saying, oh, this needs
40:00
to be vetted more is just absolutely ridiculous and if
40:04
someone is dead and we're talking about somebody like Jeffrey Epstein.
40:08
We're not talking about, like, you know, someone who was
40:10
involved in litigation over a land dispute or something, somebody
40:15
like Epstein who's already infamous. Yeah, I think that those
40:19
records should be available to the public. The former state
40:24
senator asked Polsky to craft the proposal after his lawyers
40:27
successfully fought the Palm Beach Post efforts to make the
40:30
Epstein grand jury records public. And now that was part
40:35
of the whole battle before right Abruzzo's office was rejecting
40:40
the Post lawsuit, battling the Post lawsuit so that this
40:43
stuff would not become public. Now, all of a sudden,
40:46
Abruzo has kind of switched gears here and now he
40:50
wants to get this stuff released. And I'm guessing a
40:52
lot of that has to do with optics, right, not
40:55
because he's a great guy or anything, but like I
40:57
was saying earlier, it's all about where the political wind blows.
41:05
In rejecting the Post lawsuit, circuit Judge Donald Haffle in
41:09
December said state law prohibited him from ordering a Bruso
41:13
to release a transcript of the hearing the Post is
41:16
appealing that decision. By the time a Bruso began pushing
41:20
to change the law, he said it was too late
41:22
to file a separate bill, so he persuaded Paulski to
41:26
attach the proposal as an amendment to an existing bill.
41:29
And we all know how those amendments usually end up
41:32
right into the old trash ben of history. You got
41:35
to have a separate bill, a bill, a standalone bill,
41:38
no bull crap in it, no pork in it, no
41:40
bs in it. A standalone bill about these transcripts. Not
41:46
very difficult to do. Won't take them long to whip
41:48
it up. I wanted to use the session to educate lawmakers,
41:54
he said. We knew it would be an opportunity to
41:57
have a full debate. We learned about those who those
42:00
who have grave concerns about opening up grand jury records. Yeah,
42:05
I'm sure you know what. Let's be very clear, Okay,
42:09
if you're dead, I don't think there should be any
42:12
issue whatsoever about your grand jury testimony or the grand
42:15
jury documents revolving around what you were involved in being released.
42:19
You're already dead. What are you going to be embarrassed
42:22
while you're dead? Here's an idea. If you don't want
42:25
to leave a legacy that embarrasses you or your family,
42:28
don't be a fucking scumbag. Pretty simple. Tina Polski promises
42:34
to reintroduce Jeffrey Epstein grand Jury Bill next year. Next year,
42:39
he said, Polsky has agreed to craft a separate bill.
42:42
Language would be clear that it would only impact the
42:46
Epstein case, So that won't give these lawmakers an out then, right,
42:50
if it's a standalone bill with very clear language, then
42:53
they'll have to make a choice. Do you, folks, want
42:56
to keep what happened to your private and secret forever?
42:59
Or do you want to step up to the plate,
43:01
do the right thing and release these documents to the public.
43:05
It's only for Epstein. If the bill says that, then
43:08
it doesn't affect any of the other grand jury testimony
43:11
or documents that they're so worried about keeping private. The
43:16
Post filed suit to release the grand jury transcripts after
43:19
records showed only one fourteen year old girl was called
43:23
to testify before the grand jury, even though dozens of
43:26
teens told police that Epstein molested them at his Palm
43:30
Beach mansion. Two sources familiar with the proceedings said that
43:34
lieutenants for then state Attorney Barry Krisher vilified the teen
43:38
during the hearing. They focused on her social media posts
43:42
instead of her allegations against the politically connected financier pedophile.
43:47
So again, this is what I always talk about. It
43:49
wasn't just Jeffrey Epstein's lawyers going after the girl, it
43:55
was the prosecutors as well. They talked about how her
44:00
ipace profile talked about drinking and how hooking up with
44:04
boys and smoking pot. I mean, really, I know when
44:09
I was fifteen, sixteen years old, I'm glad there wasn't
44:13
my Space, I'll tell you that much right now, because
44:15
I was doing all of that and more. What kids
44:19
aren't What kids aren't at fifteen sixteen years old, exploring
44:23
partying with their friends a little bit, trying to go
44:26
fishing for a few beers down at the corner store.
44:29
So you're gonna hold that against them and use that
44:32
as a reason why you don't believe them. That's absolute,
44:36
utter garbage, trash bullshit, and it needs to be exposed.
44:41
And Barry Krisher, his team and the rest of them,
44:44
that we're all involved in this, they all need to
44:47
be exposed as well, because they played a huge part
44:51
in making sure that Jeffrey Epstein just got a little
44:53
slap on the wrist here and wasn't really punished. I
44:57
wonder how many people are sitting around in jail and
44:59
floor right now for a lot less than what Jeffrey
45:03
Epstein did and for what he got off on. Epstein,
45:11
who in two thousand and eight pleaded guilty to two
45:14
prostitution charges, served thirteen months of an eighteen month sentence
45:18
in a largely vacant cell in the Palm Beach County stockade,
45:22
where he was given liberal work release privileges. Nah, he
45:25
didn't get any special treatment, folks. You're crazy to think
45:28
that there's no way Jeffrey Epstein was getting special treatment
45:32
when he was leaving his cell all day every day
45:34
and then coming back to the stockade to be alone.
45:38
It was all absurd. And the way that they go
45:41
about their lives, living their lives is certainly not the
45:44
way they expect you to live yours. The arrangement was
45:47
part of a plea deal negotiated by Krisher and federal
45:51
prosecutors as part of a non prosecution agreement after Epstein
45:55
pleaded guilty to state charges. Federal prosecutors shelved a fifty
45:59
three page federal indictment they had prepared against him in
46:03
June to excuse me. In twenty nineteen, after being charged
46:07
with multiple counts of child sex trafficking by prosecutors in
46:10
New York, Epstein hung himself in a Manhattan jail cell, allegedly.
46:16
So there's where we're at, folks, right now, with the
46:19
battle for these transcripts. And as I've said a million
46:22
times now, what happened in Florida is a huge part
46:26
of uncovering what happened in the arrest of this whole
46:29
entire ordeal. But they've had the lid on it down
46:33
in Florida real tight for quite some time. Hopefully this
46:36
is the beginning of that lid being blown right off.
46:42
All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this morning's update.
46:45
Context episodes most certainly on their way, and I will
46:48

47:12
All right, folks, I'll be back later on Hope you
47:14
all have a great morning. Eight. The Sun Sentinel and
47:19
their editorial board has added their voice to that of
47:22
the Palm Beach Post and the other interested parties in
47:26
getting the grand Jerry records released in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
47:31
Today we're going to read that article from the Sun
47:34
Sentinel and their editorial board, the headline release grand jury
47:39
records of filthy rich Jeffrey Epstein, author Sun Sentinel Editorial Board,
47:47
and this was published in the Sun Sentinel dot com.
47:51
Jeffrey Epstein's death ten months ago denied his survivors the
47:54
satisfaction of seeing the sex trafficker pedophile face justice. Survivors
48:00
and the public, however, still deserve to know everything about
48:03
the secret deal Epstein received in Palm Beach County a
48:07
decade ago. One hundred percent. Let us see the files
48:11
and folks, this is going to be an article kind
48:13
of like the other one we read with the Palm
48:15
Beach Post, probably the same sort of information, but it's
48:18
important to add because it is another strong voice. The
48:22
Sun sentinel demanding that this stuff be released. This week,
48:28
Palm Beach County Chief Judge Krista Marx fitting last name
48:32
ruled that state Attorney Dave Ehrenberg and Clerk of Court
48:35
Sharon Bach can't release transcripts from Epstein's two thousand and
48:39
six Grand Jerry proceeding, which produced a single state count
48:43
of soliciting of prostitution of a minor, which is not
48:47
even a real thing in my opinion. Federal prosecutors in
48:50
Miami at one point had considered charges that could have
48:53
sent Epstein to prison for life for abusing dozens of
48:56
teenage girls at his Palm Beach mansion. Well, that happen,
49:00
of course, because his friends from on high rode in
49:03
on their white horses, wearing their white armor to protect
49:06
their disgusting, disgusting, marred friend. Over and over and over
49:16
we see this again, Jeffrey Epstein being protected by those
49:20
in power. Jeffrey Epstein's friends being protected by those in power.
49:24
Meanwhile the survivors are left twisting in the wind. What
49:29
an absolute joke. But then US Attorney Alexander Acosta filed
49:38
no charges as part of an appalling agreement with then
49:41
Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krisher. Epstein pleaded guilty in
49:45
two thousand and eight to solicitation charge and drew an
49:48
eighteen month sentence in the Palm Beach County jail and
49:52
a further insult to the survivors, the Sheriff's office, which
49:56
runs the jail, allowed Epstein to spend much of the
49:59
time at his office. Meanwhile, while he was at his
50:02
office being involved in whatever he was being involved in, well,
50:06
there was a deputy with him, so that deputy obviously
50:10
wasn't doing his job. If Jeffrey Epstein was still abusing girls,
50:13
still abusing women, what exactly was this deputy doing? And
50:17
did this deputy ever face any scrutiny for his role
50:20
in this? How Come there is never any accountability when
50:24
it comes to situations like this. How Come we can
50:27
never depend on the prosecutors or even the police to
50:32
do the right thing. If Epstein had gone to trial,
50:38
the grand jury records would have become public. Because he
50:41
took a deal, the records remain sealed and the questions
50:44
remain unanswered. All part of the plan, folks, All part
50:48
of Alan Dershowitz's plan to make sure that everything is
50:52
as convoluted as possible, as muddy as possible. And then
50:56
what you do is you finesse the prosecutors into your
51:00
way of thinking. You have the prosecutors do your dirty
51:03
work by the smearing the accusers, and then well you
51:09
head to the back room and you make a deal
51:11
with your good buddies. That's pretty much what happened, right.
51:14
That is exactly what it looks like. That's from all
51:17
the information and all the evidence that's available to us,
51:19
That's exactly what occurred. Though Marx dismissed the part of
51:24
the lawsuit against Arenberg and Bach, she allowed the Palm
51:27
Beach Post to seek a court order that could allow
51:29
the unsealing of the transcripts. Michael G. Reigel, the paper's attorney, said,
51:34
discovery on that count will count. Now will start. The
51:39
Post should win, Yes, they should. So let's see it
51:43
and Judge Christa. Marx knows that the court that the
51:46
Post has a leg to stand on here. They know
51:48
that the Miami Herald and everybody else who is asking
51:51
for this has a leg to stand on here. They're
51:53
trying to make it drawn out. They're trying to go
51:55
as long as possible to save face because we know
51:59
the prosecutor in Florida and to Costa's office and on
52:03
high completely and utterly abandoned these survivors and let these
52:08
people get away with it for all of these decades. Well,
52:12
karma is coming around, folks. Florida law allows three exceptions
52:18
to disclosure of otherwise secret Grand Jerry proceedings. One is
52:22
furthering justice. As Gregyel notes, if learning why Acosta and
52:26
Krisher approved the deal proved the deal that has drawn
52:29
condemnation worldwide doesn't meet the standard of furthering justice, it's
52:33
difficult to imagine that any case could one hundred percent.
52:37
This Gregel lawyer certainly gets it this. These documents would
52:42
do more to further justice than just about anything. We
52:45
need to get to the root cause of this. We
52:47
need to get to the bottom of who was involved
52:49
in cutting Epstein deals. We need to get to the
52:52
bottom of who was providing Epstein cover for so long.
52:56
That is the root of the problem. This other those
53:00
are symptoms of the problem. We need to get to
53:02
the root cause. Okay, it's like cancer. We need to
53:05
get in there and cut it out. Politics almost certainly
53:11
is at play. Krisher support helped Arenberg become state attorney
53:15
in twenty twelve. Arenberg has refused to explain what role
53:19
Krisher continues to have in the office, except to say
53:22
that he isn't a prosecutor. Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick
53:25
Bradshaw's office has also paid Krisher to be a consultant.
53:29
And I think the number was like one hundred and
53:32
thirty five boxes a zd aka one hundred and thirty
53:36
five thousand dollars was what this guy was being paid
53:38
as a consultant. Boy, that's good work if you can
53:41
get it. Huh, that is good work if you can
53:43
get it. Boys and girls. Marks added to the rancid
53:47
politics by taking over the lawsuit. She worked for Krisher
53:50
as a prosecutor. As the Miami Herald reported, her daughter
53:54
is an assistant state attorney under Arenberg. Her son is
53:57
a DIP deputy under Bradshaw, whose office for many years
54:01
did not disclose the deal that allowed Epstein to serve
54:05
such easy time. How is she not recused from this case?
54:10
How can she? There has to be a way that
54:13
there should be some sort of forced recusal. This is
54:16
just beyond the pill. Having this judge oversee this part
54:19
of the case. I just I don't even understand how
54:22
we can be sitting here and talking about it. And
54:24
that's why I'm talking about it again because it bothers
54:27
me that much. This cannot be allowed to happen. This
54:32
is the two tier justice system right in front of
54:35
our eyes, happening in real time. Folks. She has ties
54:38
to every single person who would look bad in this
54:40
case if these files were released. That's why they're not
54:43
being released, not because of a technicality, not because of loopholes.
54:47
It's because, in my opinion, Judge Christa Marx wants to
54:51
protect her friends. Only an effort from outside this cozy
54:56
circle will provide answers. Last August, Governor Ron DeSantis asked
55:01
Bruce Colton, state attorney for Martin, Saint Lucy, Okeechebee, and
55:06
Indian River Counties, to supervise a criminal investigation into Krisher
55:10
and Bradshaw's conduct. Colton was also stonewalled by the way
55:14
the judge also told him to pounce sand Colton also
55:18
sought the Grand Jerry records. In January, Marks ruled against him,
55:22
calling his work a fishing expedition. So that's what you're
55:25
calling the prosecutor, the person put in charge by the governor,
55:31
to look into this. It's a fishing expedition. Yes, sorry,
55:35
The only fishing expedition is the one that you're sending
55:38
us on, Judge Marx. Federal courts have been similar have
55:44
been unhelpful, unhelpful. Last year, US District Judge Kenneth Marraw
55:49
ruled that Acosta had violated federal law by not telling
55:52
the survivors about his negotiations with Epstein. But in April,
55:57
a panel of the eleventh US Circuit Court of Appeals
56:00
sided two to one against that ruling. Now, let's remember
56:03
the head judge. The judge who was in charge of
56:06
that panel graduated from Harvard. What kind of ties does
56:09
he have to Dershowitz. But the panel set Acosta only
56:15
could have violated the Crime Victim's Rights Act if he
56:17
had filed charges. The dissenting judge disagreed, disagreed strongly, writing
56:22
that nothing in the law requires the majority's result. Also,
56:27
her name was Judge Hall who wrote that dissenting piece.
56:31
But we also had three other people who wrote the law,
56:35
actual lawmakers. One of them was Dianne Feinstein, And I
56:39
forget the other two right now. But they filed amicus
56:42
briefs on behalf of the survivors. The people who wrote
56:45
the law are telling the judges you're not applying the
56:48
law correctly. How corrupt must these judges be if politicians
56:53
are telling them that they're corrupt folks, That victory hardly
57:00
mounted to vindication of Acosta. It's not a result we
57:03
like Apple, Appellate judge Kevin Newsom wrote, but it's the
57:06
result we think the law requires. Acosta and Krisher's deal,
57:11
he added, remains beyond scandalous and detail of national disgrace.
57:16
Last month, a lawyer for the survivors asked for a
57:18
hearing before the full court. And again, it's not about
57:22
justice for people like Newsom, the Harvard trained lawyer. It's
57:25
what the law requires, buddy. The people who wrote the
57:29
law have filed an amarchist brief on behalf of the survivors.
57:34
Are you kidding me? Right now? What more do you need?
57:40
Epstein's case drew little notice outside of pom Beach County
57:44
when it was happening. In late twenty eighteen, however, the
57:47
Miami Herald published a series on Epstein called Perversion of Justice.
57:57
His survivors, now adults, went on camera to describe how
58:00
Epstein's enablers recruited them and how he and his powerful
58:04
friends molested them. This case drew such little public interest
58:10
the first time around because Epstein was being protected by
58:13
his scuzbag friends in the legacy media. We've proved that
58:18
over and over again, and now for some of these
58:22
legacy media types to come out and act like they've
58:24
always been allies to these survivors, it's disgusting and it's
58:29
gross on its face. Last July, federal prosecutors in Manhattan
58:34
arrested Epstein and charged them with sex trafficking, which provided
58:37
a measure of satisfaction to the survivors. Epstein's suicide allegedly
58:42
a month later, however, robbed them of the chance to
58:45
confront their abuser and see justice served. This month, Netflix
58:50
premiered a four part series on Epstein called Filthy Rich.
58:54
Despite Epstein's death, the federal investigation continues into those who
58:58
recruited girls and had second with them. Prosecutors want to
59:01
interview Prince Andrew, who allegedly had sex with one of
59:04
the survivors and spent considerable time with Epstein. This month,
59:09
the prosecution team said Andrew had not been cooperative and
59:12
essentially called him a liar. Well, we know that's the case.
59:15
Andrew wants nothing to do with it. We know he's
59:17
hiding in his hole behind his lawyers right now, like
59:19
the coward he is. None of this would be necessary
59:22
if Acosta and Krisher had done their jobs more than
59:25
a decade ago, and Mukasey and Philippe and the rest
59:29
of them A Costa assigned resigned last year as US
59:33
Secretary of Labor and has not re emerged in public life.
59:36
Krisher retired in two thousand and eight and never has
59:40
directly addressed the Epstein agreement. That deal likely allowed Epstein
59:44
to abuse more girls. It shook confidence in the justice system.
59:48
It would further justice to know how and why it
59:52
happened one hundred percent. And Folks, I know we're beaten
59:58
a dead horse here reading an article like this, but
1:00:01
it's important to add it to the catalog and add
1:00:04
the Sun Sentinel's voice to the Palm Beach posts, because
1:00:09
it's going to take a group effort of all of
1:00:12
us together to force these people and pressure them into
1:00:16
doing the right thing. I don't know if If you
