- 3:41Speaker 4: Oh said, you run on the train?
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah, trained from my gym. Where's that next to my apartment?
- 3:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Okay, hey, it's the set Christopher's Street.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I figured you you know, you know, city bike everywhere.
- 3:54Speaker 3: No, because I was gonna be late if I city biked,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and then I ended up being way later because I
- 3:59Speaker 3: didn't city bike.
- 4:00Speaker 4: That's all good, All right, let's go, let's do it right.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Oh that was a tough clap.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a dud already.
- 4:15Speaker 4: When you go to spank a girl and you just
- 4:16Speaker 4: get the oh no, that wasn't hot, you know what
- 4:21Speaker 4: I mean? Absolutely, and then you got to do it again.
- 4:23Speaker 4: But you feel bad because the first one actually hurt. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 4: because it was all palm.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gonna be a bruise.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Yeah, basically you're just beating the woman at that point. Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Okay, Well, welcome back to the Son of a Boy
- 4:36Speaker 3: Dad podcast. Today. It's April thirtieth to twenty two pm.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I think last time we recorded it was two twenty
- 4:43Speaker 3: two PM as well, you big spanker, and I believe
- 4:45Speaker 3: it was the second, the twenty second.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Wow, all twos, all twos.
- 4:50Speaker 3: You missed that last time when we were recording.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Deuces Wild, I am dreed.
- 4:56Speaker 3: You ever have that where you go to the gym
- 4:57Speaker 3: and then you shower, Yeah, and you're still sweat in
- 5:00Speaker 3: the shower.
- 5:00Speaker 4: You gotta wait a little bit.
- 5:02Speaker 3: I didn't have time, No, but man, oh man, I
- 5:07Speaker 3: couldn't find I thought I brought two shirts like the
- 5:10Speaker 3: one I wore, and then I was gonna change into
- 5:12Speaker 3: one after. And so I was like, after I worked out,
- 5:17Speaker 3: I was I was walking, I was like looking around
- 5:19Speaker 3: my bag for the shirt. I couldn't find a second shirt.
- 5:21Speaker 3: So I just was like, I guess I'll just wear
- 5:23Speaker 3: the dirty shirt that sucks, and then I put it
- 5:25Speaker 3: on after.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I showered, the one you worked out when I.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Worked out it rible. And then I found the second shirt,
- 5:31Speaker 3: so I was like, oh fuck, yeah, I'm gonna change
- 5:33Speaker 3: into this shirt. And then I'm I was trying to
- 5:36Speaker 3: get the shirt off, but I was sweating so much
- 5:39Speaker 3: and I'm so sore because I haven't worked out in months.
- 5:43Speaker 3: That I couldn't get it off, and at one point
- 5:46Speaker 3: I was like, I think the easiest way for me
- 5:48Speaker 3: to get off is to take the big hole that
- 5:52Speaker 3: your head goes in and put it over my head
- 5:55Speaker 3: and then like wiggle out of it. And then I
- 5:57Speaker 3: put it over my head and it got caught around
- 6:00Speaker 3: my neck, and then people came into the locker room
- 6:03Speaker 3: and I have the shirt a rat with my arms
- 6:05Speaker 3: through the armholes and the actual shirt over my neck
- 6:10Speaker 3: and I'm just standing there like this, like squirming around
- 6:13Speaker 3: trying to get it off.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, damn dude, tough you Uh, that's I don't
- 6:20Speaker 4: I don't quite understand the logistics of what you're.
- 6:23Speaker 3: You've never gotten like a you've never gotten like a
- 6:24Speaker 3: penny stuck on your on your body?
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yeah, playing cross Usually that was with pads and a
- 6:30Speaker 4: helmet on.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah, this was sweat and uh sweaty.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Body, gotcha. Yeah, hey man, listen, I'm sorry. I'm glad
- 6:39Speaker 4: you made it out of.
- 6:40Speaker 3: That, thank you.
- 6:42Speaker 4: And I'm glad you're here.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I'm happy to see you. Yeah. I have a feeling
- 6:46Speaker 4: we're gonna have a good episode today. Sweet, I'm pretty pumped. Yeah, yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 4: nice Yeah, uh I have two stories. I'll tell you
- 6:58Speaker 4: the first one because I think this speaks to this
- 7:03Speaker 4: speaks to something that's been happening, which is that for
- 7:06Speaker 4: what I think? I think I have a growing reserve
- 7:09Speaker 4: of rage that is filling up.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Got it?
- 7:13Speaker 4: Almost like imagine the air air tight caverns or the
- 7:20Speaker 4: whatever they were called, the the things on the Titanic, right,
- 7:24Speaker 4: you remember how they would fill with water? Not at all? No,
- 7:27Speaker 4: do you ever see that movie?
- 7:28Speaker 9: No?
- 7:29Speaker 4: You never saw Titanic? Now I know.
- 7:31Speaker 3: It isn't like eight hours long. It's three probably three
- 7:35Speaker 3: and eight same thing once you pass over the two
- 7:37Speaker 3: and a half mark watching two sittings commitment.
- 7:42Speaker 4: It's good. It's an iconic movie. It was the highest
- 7:44Speaker 4: grossing movie of all time for a while.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah, until good movies started coming out, Like fucking what's
- 7:51Speaker 3: that one movie with the blue people have Avatar? Like Avatar,
- 7:55Speaker 3: the same, it's the same.
- 7:57Speaker 4: That is what overtook it, I know, and same director
- 8:01Speaker 4: James Cameron am that's crazy. And I think Titanic won
- 8:04Speaker 4: for picture. Yeah he was. He was all about the blockbuster.
- 8:07Speaker 3: He's a money machine. Yes, nice.
- 8:10Speaker 4: It launched Leo's career. Yeah, I would say it made
- 8:16Speaker 4: him the heart throb, was more always more of a
- 8:19Speaker 4: Gilbert Gilbert guy. I don't know that that put him
- 8:23Speaker 4: in this sort.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Of definitely that he became. I think there might be
- 8:29Speaker 3: more people that were on the actual Titanic than people
- 8:32Speaker 3: have who have seen what's eating Gilbert Grape. Yeah.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Well, anyway, I don't know why I brought that up,
- 8:41Speaker 4: but I guess I would say that. I just I
- 8:43Speaker 4: just have felt lately that there's been this rage that's
- 8:47Speaker 4: been kind of bubbling up within me, and I'm worried
- 8:51Speaker 4: that it's going to spill over at the wrong time.
- 8:53Speaker 4: It's it's because of the city of New York.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I could see that. I would say it was
- 8:58Speaker 3: retard city outside it really today was something different.
- 9:01Speaker 4: It's something they're out. I don't know if they got
- 9:03Speaker 4: off their leashes. If this is like some sort of
- 9:07Speaker 4: like bring your retard to work day, I don't know
- 9:09Speaker 4: what it is. It was fucked, but they have been
- 9:12Speaker 4: unlocked and they're out.
- 9:14Speaker 3: It was a lot of like scurrying up the left
- 9:16Speaker 3: side of the subway exit. Yes, yeah, are walking in
- 9:20Speaker 3: slow motion going up the stairs.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I'm so glad you point this out. I'm so glad
- 9:26Speaker 4: you say this, because you're absolutely right.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Sometimes people have to wait that are trying to go down.
- 9:31Speaker 3: But I don't even feel as bad because I'm like,
- 9:34Speaker 3: it's gonna take me so much less time, Like you're
- 9:37Speaker 3: gonna be waiting for so much less time than I
- 9:38Speaker 3: would be waiting behind these fucking.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Oh you're going up to the off side. Yeah, oh
- 9:43Speaker 4: you're back. Yeah.
- 9:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I was surprised that you agreed with that.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I thought you were mad. I thought you were mad
- 9:49Speaker 4: that people were coming up and you had to wait
- 9:51Speaker 4: to go.
- 9:51Speaker 3: No, no, no, this is.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Again again a left lane. You're a left lane guy.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I wouldn't be surprised if you started telling me that
- 9:59Speaker 4: you were now driving the wrong way down one ways.
- 10:01Speaker 3: It's not a bad idea.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I just you know, get around yeah, and bottlenecks.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Well, I mean this is like I don't have the
- 10:07Speaker 3: time of day to adapt to the world's you know,
- 10:11Speaker 3: the lifestyle of those who choose not to go to
- 10:13Speaker 3: the gym. I'm like, guys like us.
- 10:15Speaker 4: You are saying what so many people apply as a
- 10:18Speaker 4: reason why they don't want to follow the rules, which
- 10:21Speaker 4: is my time is more valuable than the time of
- 10:25Speaker 4: people who do yes, I know your time. It is
- 10:30Speaker 4: Zimbabwean currents.
- 10:32Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 10:33Speaker 4: It might be the least valuable time.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I'm busy as a bee.
- 10:37Speaker 4: You are. You are an old man who is sitting
- 10:41Speaker 4: on a porch with the fucking iced tea looking out
- 10:44Speaker 4: over the land you bought. Wis not a care in
- 10:47Speaker 4: the world.
- 10:48Speaker 3: That sounds phenomenal.
- 10:49Speaker 4: You have time up up the wazoo.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I'm in my fucking apartment stamp till three am, trying
- 10:55Speaker 3: to fucking flip on Facebook marketplace just to score a
- 10:59Speaker 3: quick buck.
- 11:00Speaker 4: I just sold a bunch of stuff on Facebook parking place,
- 11:03Speaker 4: so I actually relate to that, and it went so well.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Yeah, people just show up, right, dude.
- 11:08Speaker 4: A woman paid me full asking price for this sofa
- 11:11Speaker 4: I was trying to unload and she still hasn't picked
- 11:15Speaker 4: it up. She said she was sending movers to come
- 11:19Speaker 4: get it and they haven't come. So I just have
- 11:22Speaker 4: the money.
- 11:22Speaker 3: How much is that? I feel like that's got to
- 11:24Speaker 3: cost right now? I guess I've never moved out of
- 11:26Speaker 3: an apartment where I owned like big things like a
- 11:30Speaker 3: couch or like a desk, You know, is it way
- 11:34Speaker 3: more expen I assume it's way more expensive. Right to
- 11:36Speaker 3: hire a mover, to hire a mover to move apartment
- 11:39Speaker 3: to another apartment.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Depends on kind of what you're doing. I have a
- 11:43Speaker 4: guy that I've connected with one time. I went to
- 11:46Speaker 4: buy stick with me here.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I know, I'm trying to find that water. Oh you say, there,
- 11:50Speaker 3: there's a water right here.
- 11:55Speaker 4: There you go. Sometimes I'll go to the these outlet
- 12:02Speaker 4: stores to buy furniture, and they're all final sales stuff,
- 12:07Speaker 4: you know, yeah, and some of them have dings and
- 12:10Speaker 4: nicks and stains. You're buying the floor model. Of course,
- 12:14Speaker 4: you're buying the couch that a family of four came
- 12:17Speaker 4: in and played bouncy castle on with their shoes on.
- 12:22Speaker 4: So then you have to hire a professional furniture cleaner
- 12:25Speaker 4: and hope that the toddler's footprints come out of it.
- 12:28Speaker 4: But that's the leap of faith you take because it's
- 12:31Speaker 4: eighty percent off. At those stores. They'll often give you
- 12:35Speaker 4: a card of a guy named Phil who lives in Secaucus.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And it's always Phil, Peter, Okay.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Dave, something like that, and he has a moving company,
- 12:50Speaker 4: but it's just him and a buddy and they have
- 12:53Speaker 4: a van and that's it. And they'll come and get
- 12:57Speaker 4: that stuff and they'll bring it to you and you
- 12:59Speaker 4: pay him cash for that moving that sofa one hundred bucks. Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 4: so that's that guy. I've now used him for all
- 13:09Speaker 4: sorts of stuff. Phil. Phil, Yeah, that's your guy. Fills
- 13:12Speaker 4: my guy.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I got a guy for that, and it's always Phil.
- 13:16Speaker 4: He just he just crushes it. Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Where does he? He lives in secaucas he.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Said, I don't know exactly where he lives. I was
- 13:21Speaker 4: kind of just throwing out blank.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I thought this was your guy. Shouldn't you know where
- 13:26Speaker 3: his home ground is? His home turf?
- 13:28Speaker 4: I said, Secaucus because it's near the outlet store where
- 13:33Speaker 4: I bought the thing from. Where that where I got
- 13:35Speaker 4: his card?
- 13:35Speaker 3: Understood, understood, So probably close to secaucas Secacca's area.
- 13:39Speaker 4: We'll say he might be, but he I mean, he's
- 13:40Speaker 4: driven all over the country for me, really well, just
- 13:43Speaker 4: between New York and my.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Two hours correct.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but but by point being, you know, he's not
- 13:50Speaker 4: just grabbing stuff from the outlet and bringing to your apartment.
- 13:53Speaker 4: He'll go, he'll go all over. He's been awesome. It's
- 13:58Speaker 4: it's much cheaper than hiring one of the big moving companies.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely.
- 14:03Speaker 4: It brings three guys and they got to get the
- 14:05Speaker 4: certificate of insurance.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And yeah, I'm not a big.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Three D map the apartment for him beforehand. How many stairs,
- 14:14Speaker 4: how many elevators, whatever, that kind of thing.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, man, moving sucks so much, truly, one of the
- 14:23Speaker 3: worst things that like you have to do.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I think I've moved nine times really in the fourteen
- 14:28Speaker 4: years that I've lived in New York.
- 14:29Speaker 3: No, that's not that crazy. I guess it's not great.
- 14:31Speaker 3: It's not great. It's pretty bad. It's not great because
- 14:34Speaker 3: I guess I moved every year until I lived in
- 14:36Speaker 3: my current apartment. Yeah, now I've been there for two
- 14:39Speaker 3: plus years.
- 14:39Speaker 4: But when you're younger, I mean, I remember I had
- 14:41Speaker 4: a move where I moved in a taxi.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I moved on the subway.
- 14:45Speaker 4: I moved in one of those milk carton shaped taxis,
- 14:47Speaker 4: the big one with the sliding doors. Yeah, and I
- 14:50Speaker 4: had I mean, I had my guitar case in there.
- 14:53Speaker 4: The guy went, are you a musician?
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:56Speaker 4: And I was like, yeah, I took the looking for
- 14:58Speaker 4: my brush.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I moved in ubers and the train when we were
- 15:06Speaker 3: in Hell's Kitchen and moved to West village, and I
- 15:08Speaker 3: had to like walk to we were on forty eighth
- 15:12Speaker 3: I think, And I had to walk to the fiftieth
- 15:15Speaker 3: train station and then go all the way down to
- 15:17Speaker 3: Christopher and then walk to our apartment and drop my
- 15:19Speaker 3: shirt off and then get back on the train and
- 15:21Speaker 3: go back up to the Hell's.
- 15:22Speaker 4: To another trip. Yeah. Wow.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but he was like, I had know. I didn't
- 15:26Speaker 3: know what other option I had.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Well, you could have done the uber.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I probably did mix it up. Yeah, I had to
- 15:33Speaker 3: bring shit here, wow, because I was going home.
- 15:37Speaker 4: It's nice though, it made it makes you realize that
- 15:39Speaker 4: there was a point in your life where you live
- 15:41Speaker 4: with so few belongings that you could just move. Oh yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 4: in a car. Yeah. And then you box You wonder
- 15:47Speaker 4: what do I need all this stuff? Yeah? And the answers, No,
- 15:51Speaker 4: I don't need this many pairs of pants, but I
- 15:54Speaker 4: keep buying them. These are new good pants though, new pants,
- 15:57Speaker 4: you like comfortable. Yeah, I'm fucking roasting. I'm gonna take
- 16:02Speaker 4: this this off. I love it though. Yeah, Cardick Research,
- 16:06Speaker 4: They're awesome, great brand. Cardik listens to the show Kardik.
- 16:10Speaker 4: I went in there in this store. He was in there,
- 16:13Speaker 4: He goes, I watched your program, and I was like,
- 16:17Speaker 4: what does that mean? And he goes, you know, son
- 16:21Speaker 4: of a boy dad, And I was like, calling son
- 16:23Speaker 4: of a boy dad a program would be like, you know,
- 16:27Speaker 4: it's like calling a porno an adult film.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it really is.
- 16:32Speaker 4: I don't know if we deserve program for what we
- 16:35Speaker 4: do on here.
- 16:37Speaker 3: It is very funny. It's funny. I was trying to
- 16:39Speaker 3: think about I was thinking about that this morning, like
- 16:41Speaker 3: when people like justify podcasting, you know, like you were like,
- 16:45Speaker 3: like when people talk about they're like, it's not a
- 16:46Speaker 3: like you ever say someone You're like, God, it's like
- 16:49Speaker 3: the easiest, this is the easiest job in the world.
- 16:50Speaker 3: And people are like it's not. Though, well, I mean,
- 16:53Speaker 3: cutting yourself a little.
- 16:54Speaker 4: There are podcasts that that people do research for and they.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Well, I mean obviously I'm not talking about like I'm
- 17:00Speaker 3: talking about comedy podcasts.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yeah, most of them are are pretty easy to do.
- 17:06Speaker 4: They all just end up being the same thing and
- 17:08Speaker 4: then it's just a question of how funny.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Are Yeah, exactly, so pretty easy. Yeah, it's pretty fun
- 17:14Speaker 3: Like it's pretty not I will say I guess that
- 17:17Speaker 3: I'm glad you come around the fund.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Does that mean we talked a couple of weeks ago,
- 17:22Speaker 4: and we were I made this point. I said that
- 17:25Speaker 4: what we do is not that hard.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I don't recall that conversation.
- 17:30Speaker 4: You don't. We had it quite recently.
- 17:32Speaker 3: We probably have that conversation what once every three weeks.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Well it was since it was since Ron had had
- 17:38Speaker 4: had Yeah, yeah, uh, well, anyway, we got a lot
- 17:44Speaker 4: of a lot in the air right now.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Who cares what I was gonna say.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I have a feeling of dissatisfaction if I don't tie
- 17:52Speaker 4: up loose ends.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I don't tie up any loose ends.
- 17:54Speaker 4: No, you let him float.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Let him float. Yeah, keep people thinking. I'm sure they'll
- 17:59Speaker 3: come back to that in the next time. Ten episodes
- 18:00Speaker 3: or something about ten episode cycle the New York Can.
- 18:04Speaker 4: I can I just finish this thought. I want to
- 18:06Speaker 4: tell you about why I was angry about New York. Yes, yes,
- 18:10Speaker 4: but it is for what you describe, which is people
- 18:13Speaker 4: just not following the rules. This is a city of
- 18:16Speaker 4: people that cut corners, that don't follow the rules, and
- 18:20Speaker 4: everyone's looking to take advantage of people who do follow
- 18:24Speaker 4: the rules. Oh, look at those sheep over there. As
- 18:28Speaker 4: a result, of their adherence to the rules. I will
- 18:32Speaker 4: now get ahead on I'm going to step on their
- 18:35Speaker 4: necks to get ahead. That's what it is. People walking
- 18:40Speaker 4: down the wrong side of the subway, people getting on
- 18:43Speaker 4: the subway before people have gotten off to ensure that
- 18:45Speaker 4: they get married. Rude. I don't even want to fucking
- 18:49Speaker 4: hear it from you, because you've already admitted that you
- 18:52Speaker 4: are a guy who goes down the wrong There's an
- 18:55Speaker 4: up and there's a down, and you know where. They
- 18:57Speaker 4: don't tolerate that shit.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Japan good thing. I don't live in Japan.
- 19:01Speaker 4: I want to move there. I belong in Japan or Norway's.
- 19:07Speaker 3: A great place for a sheep like you to live.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Or a sheep or a soldier, I call it. I'm
- 19:16Speaker 4: a soldier.
- 19:17Speaker 3: They're brainwashing people.
- 19:18Speaker 4: I believe in authority. I believe in in a in
- 19:21Speaker 4: a functioning society where everybody pulls their weight, does their
- 19:25Speaker 4: part and for what it's worth. I'm not talking about communism.
- 19:29Speaker 4: What do you think about social I think Jews are
- 19:33Speaker 4: some of the hardest working people, and I think Jews
- 19:36Speaker 4: fucking lift society up. They they create good businesses, they
- 19:43Speaker 4: create communities, They they they do good ship for sure,
- 19:49Speaker 4: not even kidding you, dude, I didn't. Yeah, I if
- 19:52Speaker 4: the whole world could be Jewish, I would take it.
- 19:57Speaker 4: That is that the state is that like to it's
- 20:01Speaker 4: a lot of Jos over correct it. I mean it
- 20:07Speaker 4: out of respect, but I think it at the cost
- 20:09Speaker 4: of a lot of other religions which maybe then are
- 20:12Speaker 4: going to get offended. I don't know.
- 20:13Speaker 3: There's also like not a lot of Jews already. Like
- 20:15Speaker 3: there's how many Jewish people are there? It's under like
- 20:18Speaker 3: twenty million, isn't it.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Oh, I have no idea that sounds that sounds low
- 20:23Speaker 4: to me.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it is. I think it might actually
- 20:26Speaker 3: be closer to like sixteen million.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Dude, there they are.
- 20:29Speaker 3: It's because we live in York, New York City.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Highly functioning, intelligent, educated people who work hard. And I
- 20:37Speaker 4: don't know, I.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Loved team point seven million people.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Fifteen point seven that's it. That's the total.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Well, because there was six million more.
- 20:48Speaker 4: At a time when at a time when that number
- 20:52Speaker 4: was much lower. True, do you know what I mean? Yeah, gosh,
- 20:55Speaker 4: I wonder what proportion of all of the Jewish people
- 20:58Speaker 4: in the world. Hitler eradicated with its genocide, that's most
- 21:05Speaker 4: Do you think it was most probably man's That makes
- 21:08Speaker 4: it I mean it was already the most fucked up
- 21:10Speaker 4: thing ever. Yeah, that makes it even worse. Yeah, to think.
- 21:14Speaker 3: It's insane, Yeah, it's insane. How how like it was
- 21:18Speaker 3: a long time ago, but like it wasn't that long ago. Yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 3: it's like what like eighty five years ago?
- 21:24Speaker 4: All right, what was worse? Holocaust or slavery?
- 21:27Speaker 3: It's impossible to that's a cop out, No it's not.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I mean, like you were to really look at it
- 21:35Speaker 3: and be like, what which one set those groups of
- 21:37Speaker 3: people back further?
- 21:38Speaker 4: Oh, this is a diplomatic answer, and.
- 21:39Speaker 3: It's hard to judge because a, there's only fifteen million
- 21:43Speaker 3: Jewish people in the world now because Hitler killed what
- 21:47Speaker 3: we think is most of them could not be And
- 21:51Speaker 3: then you know, obviously slavery not good either.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Wow, you really you really put a lot of effort
- 22:01Speaker 4: into that that paragraph of your essay. You really did.
- 22:07Speaker 4: You really committed a lot of research.
- 22:09Speaker 3: And I feel like I made a good point on
- 22:11Speaker 3: the Jewish one. And then I was like, I don't know,
- 22:14Speaker 3: I don't know. I was like, I know, I know
- 22:16Speaker 3: why it was bad, but I don't have the energy
- 22:18Speaker 3: to to explain. I don't have the energy to I
- 22:21Speaker 3: don't feel like saying the wrong thing right now, and
- 22:23Speaker 3: then have a bunch of people be like, that's not why, No,
- 22:26Speaker 3: that's not why slaverery was bad.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, I asked you the worst question I
- 22:30Speaker 4: could think, but not a terrible answer. No, I'm going
- 22:33Speaker 4: to I'll give you some credit for that.
- 22:34Speaker 3: I don't think there's really like a cut and dry.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Dude that that. That's got to be the most the
- 22:42Speaker 4: most polarizing question you could potentially come up with. I
- 22:46Speaker 4: don't I don't know. I don't know the answer. I mean,
- 22:49Speaker 4: each each side is gonna well probably I don't know.
- 22:52Speaker 4: I don't know. You probably got a budge from their
- 22:55Speaker 4: own position, right.
- 22:56Speaker 3: That should be the real Like you've even seeing this
- 22:58Speaker 3: whole like hundred gorillas verse or one hundred people.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Versus one gorilla debates transition right to that after that?
- 23:05Speaker 3: Have you seen that?
- 23:06Speaker 7: Uh?
- 23:06Speaker 4: Yes, I have seen that. Yeah, versus what is it?
- 23:09Speaker 4: It's one hundred men versus one gorilla? Yeah, but this
- 23:12Speaker 4: comes up all the time.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I know, But I'm saying that should be what was worse?
- 23:15Speaker 4: What I keep seeing are these simulations on Instagram on
- 23:18Speaker 4: like a thousand gorillas versus ten million, yeah, Trojan soldiers.
- 23:24Speaker 3: But then they show the men and they pick fifteen kings.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Versus seven hundred thousands aliens and predator. Yeah, and you
- 23:34Speaker 4: know avatars.
- 23:35Speaker 3: I saw I saw one of those AI like simulations
- 23:39Speaker 3: of it.
- 23:39Speaker 4: A thousand Harry Potters.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 4: I've seen all of this and I watch them every time.
- 23:44Speaker 4: I'm like, shortly all the Harry Potters will win.
- 23:47Speaker 3: I know. And the thing that sucks is that, like
- 23:49Speaker 3: in your it's the same thing going back to those
- 23:50Speaker 3: videos of the cars just flying off the cliff in
- 23:53Speaker 3: the video game, and like in my head, I'm watching
- 23:55Speaker 3: those and I'm like, hmm, it seems like the seems
- 23:59Speaker 3: like the raft Or probably is the safest car. I'm
- 24:02Speaker 3: like making real life decisions.
- 24:03Speaker 4: In case I ever find myself going two an hour.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Off the brand can off of the.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Fucking It's good to know.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I have a point two high percent survival rateigh
- 24:15Speaker 3: survival rate. I'm not in the Tesla.
- 24:18Speaker 4: I guess I was. I was gonna buy the range Rover,
- 24:21Speaker 4: but boy I was so misled. Okay, all right, I wonder.
- 24:25Speaker 3: What the what the how realistic those simulations are, I don't.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Know, I don't know it probably zero bullshits.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they're all done on GTA, just add
- 24:36Speaker 3: the numbers in.
- 24:37Speaker 4: So today, I've just gotten sick of the people who
- 24:42Speaker 4: don't follow the rules. The weather's improved, so pedestrians are
- 24:47Speaker 4: pedestrians run this city. Yeah. So that's another thing, right,
- 24:51Speaker 4: Depending on where you live, a different type of person
- 24:56Speaker 4: traveling rules that city. In New York, pedestrians rule the city.
- 25:02Speaker 4: In Amsterdam, cyclists bikers rule the city. In La cars
- 25:08Speaker 4: rule the city, right, yeah, and maybe there's some other things,
- 25:11Speaker 4: but I like, frankly, for my money, I like cities
- 25:15Speaker 4: where bikers rule the city. That's also the case, by
- 25:18Speaker 4: the way, in most of the Scandinavian cities, of course,
- 25:21Speaker 4: bike lanes you gotta really, they're not gonna they'll barrow
- 25:24Speaker 4: you over, and if you take them to court, they're
- 25:26Speaker 4: gonna win. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, So I'm out bike. I'm
- 25:30Speaker 4: biking here. People are just stepping out into the bike
- 25:34Speaker 4: lane trying to die.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you know.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Don't give a fuck. I got I'm going through lights
- 25:41Speaker 4: with I have the green yeah, and I got to
- 25:44Speaker 4: ring the bell like a lunatic and say watch out,
- 25:47Speaker 4: watch out, because everyone's like, oh, surely they're it's only cars.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I have to like, I don't know why. I don't
- 25:54Speaker 3: know why people have made that, because like, you'd be
- 25:56Speaker 3: better off watching for bikes and not looking for cars,
- 26:00Speaker 3: and you'd be looking for cards and not looking for bikes.
- 26:02Speaker 4: It makes me want to join a bike gang.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Yeah, there's way more bikes.
- 26:05Speaker 4: I want to go out with a group of bike
- 26:08Speaker 4: gang guys and figure out how to do wheelies and
- 26:10Speaker 4: and just mow down the pedestrians in their lesson. Yeah,
- 26:14Speaker 4: strike fear into their hearts. You ever see that, so
- 26:16Speaker 4: they stay on the fucking sidewalk instead of stepping down
- 26:20Speaker 4: into the street or the bike lane.
- 26:21Speaker 3: You got to get a motorcycle.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Oh I think that's uh. I like the analog bikes.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Well, twelve o'clock Gang was a gang in Philly.
- 26:31Speaker 4: I heard about them, Yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 3: And they would ride there. They would ride their dirt bikes.
- 26:35Speaker 4: They were the twelve o'clock They were the top league. Yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 4: they were the best of the best.
- 26:39Speaker 3: And they had to stop chasing them because people kept
- 26:42Speaker 3: on dying.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Oh wow.
- 26:43Speaker 3: The cops would chase them and then either they would
- 26:46Speaker 3: die or the cops would die.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Shoot shoot.
- 26:50Speaker 3: So I want to be in Philly next week. Just
- 26:52Speaker 3: brushing up on my Philly history right now. Harrie's had
- 26:56Speaker 3: a website dot com for tickets five shows.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Nice bug. Yeah, all right. So I'm biking and I'm
- 27:04Speaker 4: going through an intersection and there's a car that has
- 27:07Speaker 4: sort of come through from the side and it's turning
- 27:11Speaker 4: left onto the street. So I'm not bothered by that,
- 27:14Speaker 4: but a guy, a sort of door dash grub Hub
- 27:19Speaker 4: seamless delivery guy comes out with that car. And I'm
- 27:24Speaker 4: coming through the intersection and there's a gap between the
- 27:27Speaker 4: car that's turning in the next car that obviously I'm
- 27:30Speaker 4: gonna go through, and he sees me coming. I have
- 27:32Speaker 4: the green light, and he just cuts me off and
- 27:36Speaker 4: I have to slam on the brakes and starts skidding.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I have to put my feet out like a lunatic,
- 27:44Speaker 4: and I go, hey, watch out, man, and I went
- 27:49Speaker 4: like that, and then I don't know what happened, Sony,
- 27:54Speaker 4: I went, what the fuck? And I screamed, I turned
- 28:02Speaker 4: heads in New York. Yeah, I turned heads. Yeah, people
- 28:05Speaker 4: in cafes, whatever, I turned heads. I was the guy.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not surprised. I mean, look, it.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Takes a lot to turn heads in New York.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but when you get one of those almost bike crashes,
- 28:14Speaker 3: like it comes out like I did the same exact
- 28:16Speaker 3: thing when that guy hit me and we both went down.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I came up and I was like, what.
- 28:20Speaker 4: The fuck, dude? I went, what the and I screamed fun,
- 28:23Speaker 4: screamed it at yeah, I hit, I hit, I popped it.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yeah right, and he looked at me.
- 28:29Speaker 3: That happened to That was the one I had that
- 28:30Speaker 3: at JFK too. Remember when I said that. When I
- 28:33Speaker 3: was walking down JFK and the family was walking with
- 28:35Speaker 3: me for like the thirty minute walk to the gate. No,
- 28:38Speaker 3: I don't know if they were like falling over. The
- 28:40Speaker 3: kids are crying, and I finally passed them and then
- 28:43Speaker 3: they I turned and they're right back next to me,
- 28:45Speaker 3: and I just went, you gotta be fucking kidding me.
- 28:47Speaker 9: Great.
- 28:48Speaker 4: I love that you never told that story.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I did. I definitely did.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Oh you did. Yeah, maybe I wasn't on that episode.
- 28:53Speaker 4: All good, So I said, I said, what the fuck? Right? Yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 4: and then he went fuck you men. He went fuck
- 29:05Speaker 4: you man, And then I went, what are you gonna do.
- 29:09Speaker 4: And we're stopped, right, and then he starts taking his
- 29:14Speaker 4: backpack off, Oh my god, And I'm thinking, I don't
- 29:17Speaker 4: think he's pulling pad tie out of that. I don't
- 29:21Speaker 4: think he's about to like apologize and give me, you know,
- 29:25Speaker 4: an order of wings. So I started going and I'm like,
- 29:30Speaker 4: I'm not gonna wait around to find whatever he's about
- 29:32Speaker 4: to take out of his backpack. And you gotta believe
- 29:34Speaker 4: that these guys carry shit.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Well because they probably get stopped constantly, they probably getting altercations.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Well, they're the worst. They're the ones that go the
- 29:42Speaker 4: wrong way down the fucking avenue and heavy traffic.
- 29:46Speaker 3: It's annoying as fun.
- 29:47Speaker 4: And nobody knows that with like their.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Lights off and they have both legs like hanging on
- 29:52Speaker 3: one side.
- 29:53Speaker 4: They got their hands in those big mixing things, and
- 29:56Speaker 4: you don't know. We've never determined in New York who
- 30:00Speaker 4: goes to the right and who goes to the left. Well,
- 30:02Speaker 4: never determine that if we had, if we determined, that
- 30:07Speaker 4: those passes would be less troublesome.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Sometimes I'll give a little.
- 30:14Speaker 4: It's a it's a game of chicken, though you're basically
- 30:17Speaker 4: playing a game of chicken, because you don't know if
- 30:19Speaker 4: you're gonna take the inside and he'll take the outside
- 30:20Speaker 4: or whatever. Anyway, those guys are the worst. And so
- 30:24Speaker 4: I just kept going and I and I was driving
- 30:26Speaker 4: the rest. I kept I bit the rest of the way,
- 30:28Speaker 4: just being like, fuck, fuck this fucking city. I hate
- 30:32Speaker 4: living here. I'm so tired of it. I've been here
- 30:35Speaker 4: for fifteen years. I'm done. I'm done, though.
- 30:37Speaker 3: The city will break you down.
- 30:39Speaker 4: I like New York. I gotta living. This is where
- 30:43Speaker 4: I'm at. I like New York. I still have it,
- 30:45Speaker 4: I still hold it in high regard. It's done a
- 30:47Speaker 4: lot for me. I like working here. I hate living here.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Hate it.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I think that's most people just.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Renewed my lease? Why why did I do it?
- 30:59Speaker 3: I think that's most people that Why did I.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Know my lease? Why am I? Why am I just
- 31:05Speaker 4: fucking succumbing to the I'm pot committed. It's like, well,
- 31:09Speaker 4: surely I can't venture to live in a quiet, beautiful
- 31:13Speaker 4: place and commute in.
- 31:15Speaker 3: There is a certain shame about leaving the city, Like
- 31:19Speaker 3: if you moved to Austin, people would be like, Francisco,
- 31:21Speaker 3: That's not what I would do. He couldn't take it.
- 31:23Speaker 4: I wouldn't move to another city. I would just move
- 31:26Speaker 4: outside of New York within striking distance and live in
- 31:30Speaker 4: a beautiful place and fucking come in when I need to.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Why don't you just do that? Then sell your to
- 31:37Speaker 3: just get rid of your place in the.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Hand, I wouldn't spots is often, and driving in each
- 31:45Speaker 4: spots means I'd get home at two in the morning,
- 31:47Speaker 4: and I'd be upset about that. It would hurt my
- 31:50Speaker 4: comedy career. Not in the mix. That's These are the
- 31:53Speaker 4: dumb voices in my head that say, sure, it's totally
- 31:58Speaker 4: fine to pay an don't for a tiny one bedroom
- 32:01Speaker 4: apartment in Brooklyn, that if I lived forty five minutes
- 32:05Speaker 4: outside of the city, I would be able to get
- 32:10Speaker 4: fucking house.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Yeah, pool, Yeah, maybe I'm totally wrong about that, And
- 32:15Speaker 3: you wouldn't have to live in Brooklyn.
- 32:16Speaker 4: I like living in Brooklyn.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Roo.
- 32:20Speaker 4: My apartment in Manhattan would be at least three grand more.
- 32:24Speaker 4: I've already checked the comparable apartments in Manhattan.
- 32:28Speaker 3: About Staten Island, I mean, I might as well live
- 32:32Speaker 3: on the moon. Take the ferry in every day.
- 32:36Speaker 4: It's the farthest place on earth from where.
- 32:39Speaker 3: We are nothing wrong with Staten Island.
- 32:42Speaker 4: I don't have an issue with Stadaten Island other than
- 32:45Speaker 4: how far away it is.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a fucking hall.
- 32:49Speaker 4: So that was the rage.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Those older comics live upstate.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Yeah right, Giannis and uh yeah, they all moved up there, right,
- 33:03Speaker 4: So that's kind of what I'm thinking. That's kind of
- 33:05Speaker 4: what I want to do.
- 33:06Speaker 3: That's not that far.
- 33:08Speaker 4: I just think that I had told myself that someday, well,
- 33:13Speaker 4: excuse me, I had told myself that I want to
- 33:17Speaker 4: have kids in the city, because having kids in the
- 33:20Speaker 4: city isn't that bad. Little ones, Yeah, and you have
- 33:24Speaker 4: them till they're like four or five, at which point
- 33:27Speaker 4: they want to have a yard to run around in
- 33:29Speaker 4: and you can play cats with your son or whatever.
- 33:32Speaker 4: And then that's when I would move to the I
- 33:34Speaker 4: guess the suburbs. But the suburbs also feel like a retreat.
- 33:37Speaker 4: To me. It feels like I'm just a big adjustment,
- 33:41Speaker 4: bending the knee to this inevitable exodus that fucking.
- 33:47Speaker 3: You Ever seen that episode of Always Sonny?
- 33:50Speaker 4: No oh, yeah, we're back in.
- 33:51Speaker 3: One of the funniest episodes of the show. Yeah, I've
- 33:54Speaker 3: been hearing it.
- 33:58Speaker 4: So anyway, that's that's that's been bothering me, And I
- 34:01Speaker 4: just wish that things worked a little better here and
- 34:05Speaker 4: that people didn't fucking toss their trash on the ground
- 34:10Speaker 4: or you know, because people people work hard to make
- 34:13Speaker 4: the city nice. They plant flowers in the tree beds,
- 34:16Speaker 4: and they create these nice tree lined streets and then
- 34:19Speaker 4: all and then among the tulips that pop up where
- 34:22Speaker 4: you think that's lovely are cartons of cigarettes. Yeah, and
- 34:26Speaker 4: Arizona iced tea cans. And I'm like, fuck this place.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Fuck these people that just are anarchists.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, but it's most cities are like that.
- 34:36Speaker 4: I feel like, I guess so not Tokyo, Oh my god,
- 34:40Speaker 4: not Tokyo.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Yeah, Tokyo is not like that because they kill you
- 34:43Speaker 3: if you throw a pack of cigarette.
- 34:45Speaker 4: No, that's Singapore. That's Singapore. Tokyo doesn't even have trash cans.
- 34:49Speaker 3: People bring your trash home.
- 34:51Speaker 4: People don't go out expecting to eat a fucking apple
- 34:56Speaker 4: on their subway ride to work like a god damn lunatic.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:02Speaker 4: So, anyway, those.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Guys in Japan like sleep on the streets and ship.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Yeah, because they get but they're sleeping.
- 35:08Speaker 3: In suits yeah, so they can go up and work
- 35:10Speaker 3: the next morning.
- 35:11Speaker 4: They're sleeping in suits and and policemen come by and
- 35:14Speaker 4: put pillows under their heads and tuck them in.
- 35:16Speaker 3: It's true. No guns either, it's it's uh, that's why
- 35:20Speaker 3: I can't go to Japan. Lack of guns, lack of iron.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's well, that's where you get one of
- 35:29Speaker 4: those three D printed ones exactly.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Yeah, one round per mag.
- 35:33Speaker 4: That's what killed the former prime minister.
- 35:36Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Shinzo Abbi.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Would you have been able to come up with that name,
- 35:41Speaker 4: Shinzu Abi Abbe?
- 35:42Speaker 3: Would I have been able to like pull that?
- 35:44Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 35:44Speaker 3: No, definitely not.
- 35:46Speaker 4: It's a good poll.
- 35:46Speaker 3: It's a good pull. It's not bad. Almost as good
- 35:48Speaker 3: as my sixteen million Jews.
- 35:52Speaker 4: What was that that was the total? Now? Yeah? Yeah,
- 35:54Speaker 4: fifteen point seven. You said sixteen.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and you said that feels odd. That feels low.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Actually you said, I said twenty, And then you said
- 36:02Speaker 3: that feels low, and I said, I think it actually
- 36:03Speaker 3: might be closer to sixteen. Oh, and then I googled
- 36:06Speaker 3: it and it was fifteen.
- 36:06Speaker 4: I don't remember these seconds that happened forever ago.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Oh, I'm just saying you know if we're gonna be
- 36:11Speaker 3: showing off our polls.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Fine. I got one more story, though, and this one,
- 36:16Speaker 4: this one hopefully will.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Dude, I'm so I'm the level of sore right now
- 36:21Speaker 3: where it's like I don't understand like going to the gym,
- 36:25Speaker 3: and I feel like I felt this way the entire time,
- 36:27Speaker 3: my entire life, every time I've gone to the gym.
- 36:29Speaker 3: I feel like I feel worse when I go to
- 36:31Speaker 3: the gym.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Can I ask you a quick question?
- 36:33Speaker 3: Sure?
- 36:33Speaker 4: So right before you said that, I said I got
- 36:35Speaker 4: one more story, and I think this one's gonna make
- 36:37Speaker 4: you feel And then you said I'm a level of sore.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I just had to chime in with, like, I can't
- 36:43Speaker 3: even focus right now because like my pecks feel like
- 36:45Speaker 3: they're fucking no problem.
- 36:47Speaker 4: I understand that I talk a lot, so I apologize
- 36:49Speaker 4: for that. I think in the absence of Rome, I've
- 36:51Speaker 4: tried to really fill the space a little bit. Yeah, so,
- 36:56Speaker 4: I don't mind, But I just wonder if you even
- 36:59Speaker 4: hear Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 3: No, you said you're gonna tell another story.
- 37:02Speaker 4: And you said, let me get this in. Yeah, let
- 37:05Speaker 4: me squeeze this in. Great, you're sore.
- 37:07Speaker 3: I'm incredibly sore.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Tell me about it.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Just super sore. Smile. I can't even bend my right arm.
- 37:13Speaker 3: This is as far as it goes.
- 37:14Speaker 4: What are you doing in the gym to make you
- 37:16Speaker 4: so sore?
- 37:17Speaker 3: Nothing? Literally, like I'm talking like thirty five minute workouts,
- 37:22Speaker 3: but what it kind of exercises lifting? Today? I did cardio.
- 37:27Speaker 4: What specifically are you doing yesterday? I did uh.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Lat pull downs, I did the those mhm, and then
- 37:40Speaker 3: I did rows and then I did curls and I
- 37:42Speaker 3: did like ten minutes on the treadmill.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Nice. I'm happy with that for you.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, No, I'm not trying to do anything crazy.
- 37:49Speaker 4: No, but I'm saying your soreness will abate. Yeah, because
- 37:55Speaker 4: and I think this is how it works. I don't
- 37:58Speaker 4: know anything. I'm stupid. This is my guess. My thought
- 38:05Speaker 4: is that when you when you work out like that,
- 38:07Speaker 4: you pull your muscles like apart, right, Yeah, you're breaking
- 38:10Speaker 4: them down, and then it's the rebuilt building of them
- 38:12Speaker 4: that causes them to grow, and your muscles will start
- 38:18Speaker 4: to recover and faster mesh back together whatever more quickly
- 38:23Speaker 4: as you continue to work out. Yeah, but that's just
- 38:27Speaker 4: a thought that I've gathered from I don't know, and
- 38:29Speaker 4: I have I could be dead wrong.
- 38:31Speaker 3: No, that's definitely right.
- 38:32Speaker 4: And if I'm wrong, I apologize for thinking out loud.
- 38:36Speaker 3: That's pretty much just uh yeah, that's how muscles grow.
- 38:39Speaker 4: Fucking piste off Man, All good. Everyone telling me that
- 38:42Speaker 4: I think I know in.
- 38:43Speaker 3: The jungle today, Huh, you get in the jungle today.
- 38:46Speaker 4: The gym take it out? Yeah, I got in the gym.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Hit it hard.
- 38:50Speaker 3: You hit it hard enough?
- 38:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I hit it hard. But another fact something happened
- 38:57Speaker 4: in there that made me angry. I was in the
- 39:00Speaker 4: Olympic lifting area. I was in a squat rack doing
- 39:03Speaker 4: a nice thing that I like to do, squatting. No,
- 39:08Speaker 4: I can't really squat anymore in my back.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Tell me you weren't curling with the squad in the
- 39:12Speaker 3: squat rack.
- 39:12Speaker 4: No. I was doing overhead presses, and then I do
- 39:19Speaker 4: upward rows, I guess, and then I do curls, and
- 39:22Speaker 4: then I do put it overhead and I do single
- 39:25Speaker 4: leg squats and that's one cycle, and I do four
- 39:29Speaker 4: of those. But I only put tens on each side
- 39:31Speaker 4: of the forty five pound bar ah because I couldn't
- 39:35Speaker 4: do it with much heavier. It's grueling it's hard. They
- 39:38Speaker 4: are you just doing straight military press? Strict press five,
- 39:44Speaker 4: bring it down, clean it back up five. So I
- 39:46Speaker 4: do twenty five, five sets of five in one, and
- 39:49Speaker 4: then I moved to twelve curls. I do twelve of
- 39:54Speaker 4: the poles, and then I do twelve on each each leg,
- 40:00Speaker 4: single leg overhead lunges basically I guess dips of some kind.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 40:06Speaker 4: Anyway, I'm doing this and I'm almost done, and a
- 40:10Speaker 4: woman comes up to me and says, uh, we've got
- 40:12Speaker 4: a class starting been there, but I'm in the gym
- 40:16Speaker 4: at like twelve twenty pm. Yeah, yeah, what class is
- 40:26Speaker 4: scheduled for noon? I don't know twelve thirty because I
- 40:30Speaker 4: go at five five thirty and there's like two classes
- 40:33Speaker 4: in there, and I'm like, okay, I get it. Yeah
- 40:35Speaker 4: it sucks, but.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Like you know, but I've also been getting weird shit,
- 40:38Speaker 3: like I feel like.
- 40:40Speaker 4: A class at twelve thirty the twelve shitty should be like,
- 40:44Speaker 4: don't don't have a class at that time.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Both days I've been to the gym, last two days
- 40:48Speaker 3: have been they've been cleaning the locker room. Like while
- 40:51Speaker 3: I'm in the locker room, any staff dudes just moping
- 40:55Speaker 3: I'm like trying to change.
- 40:56Speaker 4: They're cool, they've seen it all.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I don't fuck with that. But I realized as they
- 41:00Speaker 3: do it then, because that's the quiet hours of the day.
- 41:02Speaker 4: What's the part of your body you're self conscious about
- 41:04Speaker 4: in front of those men? Oh?
- 41:06Speaker 3: Every part?
- 41:07Speaker 4: But they're not judging you. They've seen all shapes in size.
- 41:10Speaker 3: No, they're all because every dude that works there is fucking.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Jack even the guy's holding them miss.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the janitors, fucking XL polos bursting through them.
- 41:21Speaker 4: Fair enough. Cool, that's cool, That is cool. I like
- 41:26Speaker 4: a jacked janitor.
- 41:27Speaker 3: I'm switching gyms. Anyway.
- 41:29Speaker 4: What are you gonna upgrade to?
- 41:31Speaker 3: You don't even gotta worry about it, little private, little
- 41:33Speaker 3: private course.
- 41:33Speaker 4: You're gonna be a Knox guy.
- 41:35Speaker 3: I might. I might upgrade to the Knox.
- 41:37Speaker 4: You could come in and get some get equal Knox life,
- 41:41Speaker 4: get that, get that equal.
- 41:42Speaker 3: You ever remember those old energy drinks called nos?
- 41:45Speaker 4: Yes?
- 41:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I was trying to make a joke about that
- 41:48Speaker 3: the other day when we were filming, and I don't
- 41:50Speaker 3: think any no one knew what I was talking about.
- 41:52Speaker 3: But one of the one of the dudes that were
- 41:55Speaker 3: filmed with this guy, his kid James. You might have
- 41:57Speaker 3: met him. He works here, but he uh. He was like,
- 42:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna go to the store and grab anything. Do
- 42:01Speaker 3: you just want anything? And I was like, yeah, pick
- 42:03Speaker 3: me up a nase trying to get a nose right now.
- 42:07Speaker 3: No one knew what I was talking about. I thought
- 42:09Speaker 3: those were hilarious. Growing up.
- 42:10Speaker 4: I had a buddy. I have a buddy who only
- 42:12Speaker 4: drinks bang.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Really, he's a band, like.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Three of them a day.
- 42:17Speaker 3: No, dude, three bangs.
- 42:19Speaker 4: You're not gonna live that long.
- 42:21Speaker 3: His heart's going to explode.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's like what because I'll be like.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Six hundred milligrams of caffeine a day.
- 42:28Speaker 4: I'll be with him, we're very close friends, and we'll
- 42:30Speaker 4: be on trips together, bachelor parties and things like that,
- 42:33Speaker 4: and someone's like, you want to eat coffee. He'd be like,
- 42:35Speaker 4: I don't drink coffee.
- 42:36Speaker 3: He he's a bang guy.
- 42:37Speaker 4: And then you're like, oh, people would be like, oh,
- 42:39Speaker 4: you don't drink coffee. Wow, that's amazing. He's like, they
- 42:42Speaker 4: assume it's a healthy choice not to drink coffee. He's
- 42:47Speaker 4: like what You're like, Oh, did you drink green tea?
- 42:50Speaker 4: Howd you kick that. Yeah, No, I turned to Bang Energy.
- 42:54Speaker 4: In fact, I stopped at a seven to eleven stocked up. Yeah,
- 42:57Speaker 4: the entire middle drawer of the phrase just filled with
- 43:02Speaker 4: my supplies for the next I.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Read done that. I mean we were when we were
- 43:05Speaker 3: talking about the nas we were talking about. I used
- 43:07Speaker 3: to drink those rain Energy drinks constantly, and those are
- 43:12Speaker 3: I think they're made by the same people that make
- 43:14Speaker 3: Bang Yeah, but no, those are not a good way
- 43:19Speaker 3: to start your day. It is, dude. It's like I remember,
- 43:22Speaker 3: I remember when I first started working here, Nick got
- 43:25Speaker 3: one of the rains because I put I put him
- 43:27Speaker 3: onto them and he had to leave work early because
- 43:31Speaker 3: of how much the caffeine fucking him up.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Well, dude, the guys on the team used to take
- 43:38Speaker 4: pre workout powders and stuff like that. Yeah, it was like,
- 43:42Speaker 4: uh I remember it was black and red oh four, yes, yeah,
- 43:48Speaker 4: it might have been that. Yeah, I think that's might
- 43:50Speaker 4: have been what it was. Yeah, was the best. And
- 43:53Speaker 4: they would just be under the squad rack and be like,
- 43:56Speaker 4: fucking smack me me.
- 44:03Speaker 3: The original floor blend was like, dude, you would take
- 44:06Speaker 3: it and you'd go to the gym and you'd be
- 44:08Speaker 3: like I would be at like the local gym in
- 44:10Speaker 3: Massachusetts with like moms, and I would be like curling,
- 44:14Speaker 3: and I'd be like like grinding my teeth like fucking
- 44:17Speaker 3: fired up. Yeah, I love it. When I when I
- 44:21Speaker 3: first moved to New York and I lived in East Village,
- 44:24Speaker 3: did you ever get into pre workout or now?
- 44:25Speaker 4: No, I was. I knew that there was a lot
- 44:28Speaker 4: of caffeine in it, and yeah, always been very careful
- 44:30Speaker 4: about caffeine.
- 44:31Speaker 3: They got that whatever the one is, it's is it
- 44:33Speaker 3: alanine or whatever? The one that makes your skin itch?
- 44:36Speaker 4: Is it touring?
- 44:38Speaker 3: It might be I forget what it is. I remember
- 44:40Speaker 3: that when I first moved to New York and I
- 44:41Speaker 3: lived in East Village with like the two dudes from online,
- 44:47Speaker 3: we used to just take that straight on top of
- 44:50Speaker 3: the pre workout. Wow, we were a big gym house.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Yeah we were. It was awesome.
- 44:56Speaker 4: That's great.
- 44:59Speaker 3: The other dude that lived there, like I would like
- 45:01Speaker 3: uber eat something and he'd be like, dude, what it's Tuesday.
- 45:04Speaker 3: What the fuck are you doing? He's a get in
- 45:06Speaker 3: the kitchen and cook something.

- 46:16Speaker 4: investment advice, guys, just said, we know crypto trading involves
- 46:20Speaker 4: risk of loss and is offered to US customers excluding Washington,
- 46:24Speaker 4: New York, and Maine through Payward Interactives, Inc. I was
- 46:29Speaker 4: in the gym, yes yet Monday at five point thirty. Yeah, right,
- 46:34Speaker 4: and I'm in I'm on the rowing machine, and a
- 46:38Speaker 4: guy walked from the locker room across the gym floor,
- 46:42Speaker 4: big gym, long way, in only a pair of shorts,
- 46:48Speaker 4: no socks, barefoot, no shirt. Wow. I didn't know where
- 46:54Speaker 4: he was going. I thought he might be going to
- 46:58Speaker 4: one of the sort of class is like the they
- 47:01Speaker 4: do yoga, you know, pilates, I think, and they're in
- 47:08Speaker 4: darker rooms, so I thought maybe he was going into
- 47:11Speaker 4: one of those. He didn't go into one of those,
- 47:14Speaker 4: and it made me mad. This is not a gym
- 47:17Speaker 4: where you can do no war barefoot, What are you
- 47:21Speaker 4: fucking animal?
- 47:24Speaker 3: Yeah, Barefoot's crazy.
- 47:26Speaker 4: It was as bad as if he had walked onto
- 47:28Speaker 4: an airplane that way, or into a grocery store.
- 47:31Speaker 3: What are the gyms.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Bringing their dogs into the grocery store. It's very clearly
- 47:38Speaker 4: stated you cannot bring your dog into the grocery store
- 47:42Speaker 4: unless it's a service animal. And now people don't even
- 47:45Speaker 4: They don't even bother to fucking pull the wool over
- 47:48Speaker 4: our eyes by having the service animal harness. They're just
- 47:52Speaker 4: coming in with their fucking rats, and those dogs are
- 47:58Speaker 4: shedding all over my kiwis. Yeah, and I gotta wash
- 48:01Speaker 4: them extra hard. This is what I'm talking about, man,
- 48:04Speaker 4: This is why I got to move to Japan.
- 48:06Speaker 3: No dogs in Japan. They eat them all.
- 48:08Speaker 4: They I thought we were gonna be in trouble for
- 48:17Speaker 4: that whole Holocaust conversation, but nope, We're coming at everybody today.
- 48:24Speaker 4: All right. Can I tell you what happened last night? Yeah,
- 48:28Speaker 4: because this was good? All right. I went to the
- 48:30Speaker 4: bodega to buy ice cream because I smoked a joint
- 48:35Speaker 4: that had diamonds in it. I don't even know what
- 48:40Speaker 4: that means. It had diamonds.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I don't know what that's what it said, diamond.
- 48:45Speaker 4: It was covered in that like green powder on the
- 48:48Speaker 4: outside of it. This was what I was saving for
- 48:51Speaker 4: a special occasion. And I had had it for so
- 48:54Speaker 4: long that I was like, I don't think there are
- 48:55Speaker 4: going to be any special occasions, so I need to
- 48:58Speaker 4: smoke it caged out. Well, now it's just dry and
- 49:01Speaker 4: brittle and it's gonna hurt my throat. And at some
- 49:04Speaker 4: point you have to realize that life isn't about waiting
- 49:08Speaker 4: for special occasions. It's about creating special occasions by having
- 49:12Speaker 4: the things that you're saving. Right, the joint itself is
- 49:16Speaker 4: the special occasion.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 49:17Speaker 4: I was going to meet a buddy of mine on
- 49:19Speaker 4: a park bench to watch the ferry boats go by
- 49:22Speaker 4: on the water, and we were gonna smoke a joint together.
- 49:25Speaker 4: And I thought to myself, I'm gonna bring this special
- 49:28Speaker 4: occasion to joint. I never see this guy. That's the
- 49:30Speaker 4: special occasion. I think it was like a fifty dollars joint. Damn,
- 49:35Speaker 4: I had diamonds in it.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know, I don'tn't really know what you
- 49:39Speaker 3: get out of the diamonds though.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Do you guys know what the diamonds are owen, are
- 49:43Speaker 4: you familiar with that? Is? It's some kind of like, uh,
- 49:48Speaker 4: you know, fucking cush at what. I don't know what
- 49:52Speaker 4: it would be.
- 49:53Speaker 3: I don't know that crystal whacks.
- 49:55Speaker 4: Crystals, those kinds of things. There's something something specials in there. Yeah,
- 49:58Speaker 4: I don't think it's real diamonds. I don't I don't
- 50:00Speaker 4: think exact what Pat that carries around with him, the
- 50:06Speaker 4: dude at the smoke shop.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Oh, they are diamonds.
- 50:18Speaker 4: Well, I couldn't see it. I mean, it was all
- 50:19Speaker 4: in there, but on the it was. It came in
- 50:21Speaker 4: a glass tube and baby, I mean as.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Well pick up a rig. It was pretty Wait what
- 50:28Speaker 3: was that? It's crack ship.
- 50:35Speaker 4: You guys.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Ever smoked that weed with the diamonds in it, God,
- 50:40Speaker 3: high as fuck you smoke it out of the little glass.
- 50:47Speaker 4: All right, Well, here's here's what happened. I went into
- 50:49Speaker 4: I went into the bodega, and I haven't done this
- 50:52Speaker 4: in so long. I used to do this all the
- 50:53Speaker 4: time in New York. And I said, I'm gonna treat
- 50:55Speaker 4: myself and buy a bunch of ice cream, and I'm
- 50:58Speaker 4: gonna spend real time doing it. I was, I was.
- 51:01Speaker 4: I was leaning down into the freezer case with my
- 51:04Speaker 4: arms on it to look as closely as I could
- 51:07Speaker 4: at the different flavors. I bought three different types of
- 51:09Speaker 4: ben and Jerry's. I bought a gelato that was a
- 51:13Speaker 4: mango orange gelato that didn't have dairy in it. And
- 51:16Speaker 4: then I bought a dairy free ice cream which I'm
- 51:20Speaker 4: gonna try, but I didn't try last night.
- 51:22Speaker 3: I've had the Ben and Jerry's dairy free.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Is it good?
- 51:24Speaker 3: I'm bad, kind of tastes it's like the textures there,
- 51:32Speaker 3: you know, like it feels like you're eating ice.
- 51:35Speaker 4: Cream, but it's something's wrong.
- 51:37Speaker 3: It doesn't taste like ice something. It tastes like you're
- 51:40Speaker 3: eating just like spoonfuls of like icing.
- 51:43Speaker 4: Oh really like it's it's kind of watered down, right.
- 51:47Speaker 3: It's like there's it's like I've.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Used another a substitute for heavy cream, which is what
- 51:52Speaker 4: makes ice cream.
- 51:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, yeah, so but some sort of like I
- 51:57Speaker 3: don't even know how to describe.
- 51:58Speaker 4: I will say there is a there is an ice
- 52:01Speaker 4: cream that's non dairy that is that tastes like real
- 52:03Speaker 4: ice cream. And it's the Van Lewin. I've had that,
- 52:06Speaker 4: the Van Lewin Vegan. They have a pistachio that's like unbelievable.
- 52:10Speaker 3: Die for, die for.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, but quickly, so I have five pints of
- 52:17Speaker 4: ice cream, yeah, in my hands. I put them in
- 52:20Speaker 4: my hoodie pocket and I'm walking up to the cash
- 52:25Speaker 4: register when a guy that I've seen many times out
- 52:29Speaker 4: in front of that place, who is a panhandler and
- 52:32Speaker 4: he's got a walking kind of cart type thing, you know,
- 52:35Speaker 4: he uses that, yea, the walker. He comes in and
- 52:39Speaker 4: he's upset, he's pissed, and all of a sudden, there
- 52:43Speaker 4: are two NYPD officers in there and the guy, I
- 52:49Speaker 4: don't know if I don't know if I could call
- 52:51Speaker 4: him homeless. I mean, he's put together, he's a he's
- 52:53Speaker 4: a professional panhandler. But he's not annoying. Yeah, he's not
- 52:59Speaker 4: annoying though, you know what I mean. He's like kind
- 53:02Speaker 4: of gentle about it. Yeah, to the point where like
- 53:05Speaker 4: you would give him money because he's just every day
- 53:07Speaker 4: he's in the same place. He's got the same pitch.
- 53:11Speaker 4: He's not like, please help me get money to get
- 53:14Speaker 4: home to Albuquerque. Yeah, Like, dude, you've been here for
- 53:17Speaker 4: four years and never getting back to Albuquerque. In fact,
- 53:21Speaker 4: I don't think you've ever been there. I don't think
- 53:24Speaker 4: you've ever been to Albuquereah. Anyway, he goes. He starts
- 53:30Speaker 4: telling the cops that he was attacked by a man
- 53:35Speaker 4: with a pipe, and then he's pointing to the guy
- 53:40Speaker 4: that behind the bodega counter and saying he saw it,
- 53:43Speaker 4: he saw it. So then the cops start asking that
- 53:46Speaker 4: guy questions, and that guy corroborates his story. Yeah. So
- 53:51Speaker 4: then they start asking do you have security footage? And
- 53:54Speaker 4: he points to the TV on right in front of us,
- 53:57Speaker 4: all which I'm not kidding. You had fifty fucking oh
- 54:02Speaker 4: yeah lenses, of course, fifty points of cameras, but not
- 54:07Speaker 4: a single one was outside in front of the.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Store, damn.
- 54:11Speaker 4: And I'm looking through all of them and I'm being like,
- 54:13Speaker 4: there's just no way we don't have a single view
- 54:17Speaker 4: of the street in front and front.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:19Speaker 4: But he's like, yeah, we don't have it in front
- 54:20Speaker 4: of the front of the store. So I'm like, ah shit,
- 54:23Speaker 4: I guess. And they're taking down in the information, these
- 54:26Speaker 4: NYPD cops. There is a commotion, right, there's this symbiotic
- 54:31Speaker 4: telling of the story where the bodega owner is corroborating
- 54:36Speaker 4: the panhandler guy's story. So he really was threatened an
- 54:40Speaker 4: attack by a guy with a pipe. Yeah, And I
- 54:44Speaker 4: go outside, I get wrung up, and then I go outside.
- 54:47Speaker 4: I'm walking home and all of a sudden, the intersection
- 54:51Speaker 4: at the end of that block are three NYPD cars,
- 54:55Speaker 4: one of which was is I think that like the
- 54:57Speaker 4: FOURD escape one. Yeah, you know, the s small suv
- 55:02Speaker 4: and I'm not kidding you, dude. They were eight NYPD
- 55:05Speaker 4: officers sort of stuffing the doors, the back doors, and
- 55:11Speaker 4: like I see them going like yeah, and it was
- 55:17Speaker 4: like they were trying to like wrestle an animal into it.
- 55:21Speaker 4: But half of them were women, women cops. And so
- 55:25Speaker 4: there's a guy and all I can see is one
- 55:27Speaker 4: of his legs. One of his legs is up in
- 55:30Speaker 4: the air. So he's like mostly before the cop car
- 55:35Speaker 4: and there's there's this crazy stuff's happening in there. So
- 55:38Speaker 4: I realized they got the guy. He's resisting to rest,
- 55:43Speaker 4: but he's in the car and they're trying to like
- 55:47Speaker 4: strap him in or whatever. But they're they're from both sides.
- 55:51Speaker 4: There's a lot of cops that are wrestling this guy down.
- 55:55Speaker 4: So I'm standing there holding two of my pines. I've
- 55:58Speaker 4: got three in my tangaroo pouch, and I'm like, oh
- 56:01Speaker 4: my god, justice in real time. I love this. This
- 56:07Speaker 4: is what happens when you don't obey the rules. You
- 56:10Speaker 4: can't just go round attacking people with pipes, even if
- 56:14Speaker 4: they're homeless. Yeah, I mean, if you're gonna do it,
- 56:16Speaker 4: that's probably the best one to go after but don't
- 56:19Speaker 4: do it. You can't do that right. So then they
- 56:22Speaker 4: closed the door and one guy comes out, the guy
- 56:25Speaker 4: with the leg, and he was this big, handsome guy.
- 56:27Speaker 4: He was one of those guys where like the cop
- 56:29Speaker 4: sleeves but like he's jacket. He's got that like snake
- 56:32Speaker 4: tribal tattoo coming down his arms. He's one of the
- 56:35Speaker 4: guys like the janitors at your gym. And he's handsome.
- 56:40Speaker 4: And he looked around and like he winked at one
- 56:42Speaker 4: of the women. He was like, who you know, he
- 56:43Speaker 4: did one of those I notice the doors are now closed.
- 56:49Speaker 4: Under the car is the sneaker.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Of the purp.
- 56:54Speaker 4: Oh?
- 56:54Speaker 3: Really?
- 56:55Speaker 4: They fought him so hard. One of his shoes came up.
- 56:59Speaker 4: And I've got my and I'm walking by and I go, hey,
- 57:03Speaker 4: you guys, uh, you got a shoe down there? And
- 57:08Speaker 4: they went what, I go, yeah, yeah, you got a shoe.
- 57:12Speaker 4: One of the shoes, the guy's shoes is down there
- 57:14Speaker 4: under the car and they looked under they go they
- 57:17Speaker 4: grabbed it and they go thanks, And then they opened
- 57:19Speaker 4: the door and threw it. They just threw it in there.
- 57:22Speaker 4: They just jumped it in at The guy closed the
- 57:25Speaker 4: door and I walked home and I was like, I
- 57:28Speaker 4: was part of that, do you know what I mean?
- 57:31Speaker 4: Definitely I helped because if if I hadn't done that,
- 57:35Speaker 4: they're gonna drive off without that guy's shoe, which somehow
- 57:38Speaker 4: is gonna be one of those things that that guy's
- 57:41Speaker 4: gonna point to in his police brutality thing where he
- 57:45Speaker 4: shows up for the hearing with his fucking neck brace on.
- 57:49Speaker 4: You know, the cops are day. They beat the shit
- 57:51Speaker 4: out of me. In fact, they took one of my
- 57:52Speaker 4: shoes off and threw it in the trash, the shoes,
- 57:56Speaker 4: so anyway, that was pretty exciting. I stoned out of
- 58:00Speaker 4: my mind. And the diamonds, the diamonds, and I was
- 58:04Speaker 4: watching all this happen, thinking, if I wait any longer,
- 58:07Speaker 4: this ice cream is gonna get too soft. But I
- 58:10Speaker 4: got home.
- 58:11Speaker 3: I love when the ice cream gets too soft. It's
- 58:13Speaker 3: not too soft, though, yeah, like when it gets too soft.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Did you take how many pintes do you take down?
- 58:19Speaker 4: I ate half of one. I did a good job,
- 58:21Speaker 4: but you know how I did that though. When I
- 58:24Speaker 4: got home, I put all the pints in the freezer
- 58:26Speaker 4: and I cooked a big, healthy dinner. Oh, I wouldn't
- 58:29Speaker 4: allow myself to have ice cream until I'd had my
- 58:32Speaker 4: chicken asparagus and my sweet potato.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Very nice, sounds productive.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Then I watched basketball. Oh yeah, and I ate ice cream.
- 58:43Speaker 4: It was a perfect night. So much, so much happened.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I couldn't wait to tell you the story. I
- 58:48Speaker 3: haven't really tuned into too much basketball yet. I've been
- 58:52Speaker 3: loosely keeping up. But I'm gonna start watching the Celtics
- 58:55Speaker 3: after this year. Or they just won it last night, right, yeah.
- 58:58Speaker 4: They beat the Magic. But I'll tell you what, Man,
- 59:00Speaker 4: the Magic are coming in the East. That Pablo Bancaro. Man,
- 59:04Speaker 4: he's a problem. Six to ten fucking beast.
- 59:07Speaker 3: He's huge.
- 59:08Speaker 4: He's just so strong. Yeah, he's so strong.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Hard to keep up with that.
- 59:12Speaker 4: But you didn't watch it, so you wouldn't even know
- 59:14Speaker 4: who he is.
- 59:15Speaker 3: I know who he is. Tall, last dude, right, where
- 59:21Speaker 3: do you said he was six ten? Where do you
- 59:23Speaker 3: go to college? Yukon?
- 59:25Speaker 4: Duke went to Duke? Yeah. NBA playoffs are looking good.
- 59:31Speaker 4: Knicks are have their hands a little fold now with
- 59:35Speaker 4: the Detroit Pistons.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Pistons are putting up a fight.
- 59:39Speaker 4: As a Celtics fan, I think that I want Uh,
- 59:43Speaker 4: that series to go seven games, just to tire them
- 59:46Speaker 4: out a little bit, although in the early rounds of
- 59:48Speaker 4: the playoffs, that might actually just gel your team a
- 59:52Speaker 4: little more. That said, Brunson and Josh Hart both got
- 59:57Speaker 4: a little banged up last night. Yeah, so I think
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: that I'm rooting for injuries. I want a good series.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: We'll get him either way.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: I want Celtics Knicks. I think that's a good.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Celtic Knicks Celtics fun.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: For the city. Yeah, Celtics Knicks. Got to get out
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: to a game that hasn't been a rivalry. I mean,
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: I don't know for whatever reason, to two Eastern Conference teams,
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: there's never really been that much of a rivalry. But
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: between the Celtics and the Knicks, isn't that crazy? Tens
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: mellow and them beat KG and Pierce in the playoffs. Fuck,
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: I forgot about that. I can't even imagine what year
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: that would have been. That's crazy, because are you sure
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: about that? I remember the Knicks playing the Miami Heat
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Lebron's Miami Heat team and they won one game in
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: that series, and I went to it and Baron Davis
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: his knee exploded. I mean, it was one of the
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: worst injuries I've ever seen live.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: The knee explosion is never a good one to see live.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just the whole garden went quiet.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Twenty thirteen.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: The twenty thirteen Knicks beat the Celtics.
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Interesting, Well they're not. They ain't beating the Uh, they're
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: gonna be the twenty twenty five Celtics, that's for sure.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: We'll see. Yeah. No, I feel like I like the
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I like where the Celtics are at right now. I
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: love where the Celtics are at.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Jade fucking Tatum's putting up thirty seven points in game four, correct.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Yeah, he had more than thirty five points in the
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: last three games.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Crazy because you know he started off a little slow.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Yeah, eighteen points I think game one. Yeah, it's okay,
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: you know, oh yeah it's playoff Tatum. Drew Holliday is
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: now already back for the second round. Huge, huge, he's
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: he's I love him. Just he just made so many
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: disruptive plays.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Yeah he's sick.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Yeah all right, Well hold on, I got we got
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: more to talk about him.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Well, we could talk about you know, we can talk
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: about uh the NFL draft, of course, Yeah, sure, talk.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: About shador A little bit.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Sure, what do you think about the whole Shador situation.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: You're gonna have to lead this conversation because I'm a
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: little out in the woods on it all. I don't understand.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Did people Was there a prank call? There was, yeah,
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: what what the fuck? The journalist?
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: No, so there was a prank call. I think round two,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: or maybe it might have been round three. Honestly, it
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: might have been the third day there was a prank call.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Chador had Like the day one, he had like he
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: didn't go to the he didn't go to the draft,
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: so he had like the whole room set up like
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: with like a couch and like cameras and shit. And
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: then the second day they were like outside and he
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: got a call and they showed it from like his
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: perspective first, and it was like like, uh, it was
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: just some someone on the other end being like I'm
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: the Saint general manager and they said the name and
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: they were like, we're gonna make you a saint coming
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: up here, and Shador's like, man, I've been waiting a
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: long time.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: Oh wow, thank you.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: And then the kid, just the kid just goes like, uh,
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: you're gonna have to wait a little longer and then
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: hangs up, Oh my god, and uh. And then it
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: turned out that the kid that did it, because then
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: the video came out of the kid. There pov of
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: these like old mis kids. And it turned out that
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: the kid was the son of the defensive coordinator of
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: the Falcons.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: Oh wow.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: And the Falcons got a two hundred and fifty thousand
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: dollars fine and the dad got a one hundred thousand
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: dollars fine for leaking confution. I think the dad said
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: that the kid must have found it on his laptop.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Yeah, the kid's like the kid's like twenty. So it's like,
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: imagine doing something like that, Like I could see, like
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: maybe if the kid was like sixteen.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: I could see you doing that.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: In a million years.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: I would never do that, not in a heartless way.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: It's just like as a prank.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: I mean, I get like a good prank, but like
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: when it's when it's fucking with your dad's life.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: But that's the thing. He wasn't considering that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: And I feel like I would definitely consider that. I'd
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: be there's probably gonna be massive consequences here for my father.
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: You're really not. Yeah, you're really not that much of
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: a prankster, are you?
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: No?
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I mean, like, dude, that's crazy to do like you
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: have to. It's the biggest headline in the NFL in
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: sports right now. Yeah, all, like in American sports at least.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Boy that George Sanders taking in the fifth round. Well
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: that I guess yeah, but it's just like, wow, that's happening.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: People are like, he might not get not even get picked,
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: and then the prank call surfaces and then you're like, Okay,
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: now we are the biggest Like they must have been
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: sitting in the door and being like this is way
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: bigger than we thought it was going to be.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Because they thought he was gonna get picked sooner.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: No, I'm just sure they thought it was gonna be
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: like a harmless what the fuck is.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: That so dog going? Was zerk? Sorry everyone fucking a.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: Shut that fucking dog up? I know, right, Yeah, pretty
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: crazy that. I think it just came out today that
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: that the fines because they said initially in the if,
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: the Falcons put out of statement saying that they weren't
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: going to fire him.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Oh my god. Yeah, but it's not his fault.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: The dad right now, it's not. But he's still getting
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: one hundred thousand dollars fine from the NFL for leaking
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: confidential information.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: But it's like, yeah, that's that's the type of thing
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: where he's gonna have to send his kid to be
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: like a telemarketer for knives, oh yeah, to pay him back. Yeah.
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: I had a buddy who got in trouble from flipping
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: a golf court cart. Oh yeah, and his dad made
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: him earn the money back by selling knives for like
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: three summers and pay him back for the damage.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: To the car.
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: When I was in high school, I I crashed, uh,
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: our family's car, and I had to pay my parents
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: a bunch of money. But I didn't have like nearly
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: the money to cover it. Yeah, so I just gave them,
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: like a thousand dollars was like all I had.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Yeah, earning one thousand dollars in high school.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Like it's like three years of work, years years of work.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: It's literally like it's the idea of seeing a thousand
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: dollars is impossible.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: I know, I know, it's so funny. Oh well that's yeah,
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: crazy story. So but he did get drafted. Eventually, he
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: got drafted.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: I think what was it one fifty five overall, something
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: like that one seventy five.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: Maybe is there a possibility that this will be considered
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: one of the big oversights of of NFL history, that
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: he is good and will become.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: The only way that happens if is if he's phenomenal.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: Well, obviously, but is there is it unlikely that he
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: will be phenomenal?
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: I don't think it's unlikely. Like, I think he'll probably
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: develop into a pretty good quarterback. I could see it.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: But like I doubt he'll start for the Browns this year.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: No, I don't. I wouldn't expect that.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: But I also don't think that like that Dylan Gabriel
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: is going to start either, the guy from Oregon. Mm hmmm,
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: that's who they took. They took. They took him in
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: the fourth round. What about who did the Browns? Oh,
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: so they took him over Shador and then they took
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Shador the next round.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: He took two quarterbacks.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Yeah, they might have even taken another.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: What about Dart Jackson? Dart Yeah, yeah, I don't think
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: he's gonna be great. Come on really yeah no, No,
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: the college the quarterback class this year was pretty bad.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: Well, the Miami guy was good.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Cam Ward, He's pretty good, but he's still I don't
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: think he's even close to as good as like Caleb
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: Williams or Jayden Daniels or Drake Mayworth.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: M How do you feel about the Patriots draft?
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: People are saying that they had the best draft in
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: the NFL.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Really, Yeah, didn't they take a bunch of like offensive linemen.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: Now, we took a left tackle first, Will Campbell LSU,
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: which was a line so like he'll but he's gonna
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: be sick.
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: And when you said didn't they take a bunch of
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: offensive linemen and you said no, Well.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Because they didn't. They took they got like a good
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: running they got a really good running.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: Back, they did.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: Their number one pick was a offensive lineman.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: Yeah, offensive line. So why would you because.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: They didn't take a bunch of offensive linemen.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: I think you're playing something.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: We got a lot of offensive line, We got like
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: guys in free agency and trades and ship Okay, but
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: we got a sick running back and a sick wide receiver.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: So I think I think I didn't. I mean, I
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: didn't go to in depth with the Patriots draft, but like,
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: from what I've done, what of the research I've done
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: myself and what I've talked about with my friends, it
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: sounds like I'm thinking, I said seven wins earlier in
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: the season, I'm thinking closer to eight or nine.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Wow, I think they make the playoffs.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: I think we come close. Yeah, the problem is the Bills,
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: but luckily the Jets and the Dolphins suck, so sure
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Dolphins could be decent this year.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: I saw some clip on Instagram that was talking about
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: how Tyreek Hill was holding his baby over the balcony
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: of a high rise.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you got you got arrested for like domestic violence
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: again the other day.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: But then I looked at the clip. It didn't really
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: seem as though he was holding the baby over the balcony.
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: He was just close to the balcony holding a baby.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: I honestly, I remember seeing the tweet that there was
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: like police officers going to his house, and then I
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: didn't see anything about it after Bummer Pumped Pumped for
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: fantasy football.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Good news is that Tyreek Hills so fast that if
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: he did drop that baby, he would run down, he'd
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: run down the fire escape and catch yeah.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: Like a cartoon. Yeah all right, well, okay, let's wrap
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: it up. Sure that was solid. I believe Rome will
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: be back next week.
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: Well that's what we're hoping.
