- 3:53Speaker 3: and you're like, mh, I mean, that's in minutes, don't
- 3:57Speaker 3: go too far. Washington's Variety of the eighties, nineties and
- 4:02Speaker 3: today where Toby and Chilly in the morning, it's ninety
- 4:04Speaker 3: seven point one wash FM, and that's Katie Harris playing
- 4:07Speaker 3: the part of Chilium are today And you.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Got to have your coffee in the morning to start
- 4:11Speaker 4: your day, and you also have to have some positive
- 4:14Speaker 4: words of wisdom. It is time to do just that
- 4:17Speaker 4: with Toby and his morning mindsets.
- 4:20Speaker 3: It comes from Colin Powell, the former Chairman of the
- 4:22Speaker 3: Joint Chiefs of Staff, a guy that people talked about
- 4:25Speaker 3: once upon a time that could have been maybe president, incredible, general, legendary,
- 4:31Speaker 3: and he says perpetual optimism is a force multiplier. Colin Powell,
- 4:37Speaker 3: perpetual optimism is a force multiplier. Now, what does that mean?
- 4:42Speaker 3: Means that hope is contagious. It means confidence is contagious.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So the energy that you bring into a room today
- 4:49Speaker 3: will become the energy of the room. What kind of
- 4:53Speaker 3: energy will you bring? Hopeful energy which is contagious confidence
- 4:58Speaker 3: that's also contagious. Think about that energy today and remember
- 5:02Speaker 3: that perpetual optimism is a force multiplier. Colon Palell dropping
- 5:07Speaker 3: the facts and we need to listen and apply to
- 5:10Speaker 3: our lives today. I think it'll benefit us in a
- 5:13Speaker 3: very positive way. It's ninety seven point one WASHFM. That's
- 5:16Speaker 3: your morning mindset and need it again? Find it You
- 5:18Speaker 3: can get us on install, check it out socially. It's
- 5:21Speaker 3: also on the Toby and Chilli page washfm dot com.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Feel Free to share one with us as well in
- 5:26Speaker 3: the meantime. Next with ninety seven point one wash FM.
- 5:30Speaker 4: We just made a discovery in the office kitchen and
- 5:33Speaker 4: it has to deal with something growing. What's the weirdest
- 5:36Speaker 4: thing that you've seen in your workplace kitchen?
- 5:38Speaker 5: We want to know.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Eight six six ninety two, seven forty three sixty one
- 5:42Speaker 3: is the number you might want to call and tell
- 5:44Speaker 3: us now. And we're going to jump into this coming
- 5:47Speaker 3: up Toby and Chilly in the morning. And I've asked Crash,
- 5:50Speaker 3: our producer, to join us because he's no doubt experienced
- 5:53Speaker 3: something similar to what you experienced in the kitchen of
- 5:58Speaker 3: our radio station at Harrison for Chilia.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Mark, tell the class what you discovered.
- 6:04Speaker 4: A bowl right next to the sink filled with chia
- 6:07Speaker 4: seeds that have begun to sprouted.
- 6:09Speaker 5: It kind of looks like little tadpoles.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Now I have questions who leaves dirty dishes by the
- 6:15Speaker 3: sink at the office? I mean, come on, now, it's
- 6:18Speaker 3: not your house, it's your workplace.
- 6:20Speaker 4: I mean I was wondering if they did it on purpose,
- 6:22Speaker 4: like were they trying to create chia sprouts?
- 6:24Speaker 5: Is this like a science.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Experiment or something?
- 6:26Speaker 5: It looks intentional. Yeah, it does really well.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I know that you and Crash went and shot some
- 6:33Speaker 3: video of set offending chias seeds. I guess the video
- 6:37Speaker 3: will tell the story if you check it out on
- 6:39Speaker 3: the Toby and Chili page at washfm dot com. But
- 6:41Speaker 3: in looking at the video right now, I don't know
- 6:44Speaker 3: that it's intentional.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I just think.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Somebody was somewhat lazy and didn't wash out their bowl.
- 6:50Speaker 5: What is the strangest thing that you guys have ever seen?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Well, the chia seeds are kind of tame, but I'll
- 6:56Speaker 3: yield to you, Crash, go right at.
- 6:58Speaker 8: It wasn't a physical thing, but it was something that happened.
- 7:01Speaker 8: And you know how people put their food in the fridge.
- 7:03Speaker 8: There was a half eaten ice cream like cup of
- 7:06Speaker 8: ice cream that someone had finished, like a milkshake that
- 7:08Speaker 8: someone else had finished, And so I became this big
- 7:11Speaker 8: hoofla about who took my milkshake and we never found out.
- 7:15Speaker 8: But it's just the whole thing of who would drink
- 7:17Speaker 8: a milkshake out of the fridge.
- 7:19Speaker 5: That's kind of weird.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Well, that's weird, far more tame than what I've seen.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I mean, I've seen science experiments growing in the back
- 7:25Speaker 3: of refrigerators on things like milkshakes and ice cream that
- 7:29Speaker 3: never got completely eaten. And don't get me started on
- 7:32Speaker 3: some of the free food they bring by. If that
- 7:33Speaker 3: ends up in the fridge and it's there after a month,
- 7:36Speaker 3: oh lord, baby haysus, they're gonna call in freaking the
- 7:39Speaker 3: hazmat team or somebody from down at NIH to come
- 7:42Speaker 3: and figure.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Out what's growing.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I am the one that's guilty of leaving the weird
- 7:46Speaker 4: stuff and the fridge. If you see cabbage leaves in
- 7:50Speaker 4: the freezer.
- 7:51Speaker 5: You will know that it is me. And you do
- 7:54Speaker 5: you know what I do with these cabbage leaves?
- 7:55Speaker 9: Right?
- 7:56Speaker 8: No?
- 7:56Speaker 5: Wait, it is like, look, I like, do I want
- 7:59Speaker 5: to know?
- 8:00Speaker 4: When it gets really hot and I need to cool off,
- 8:03Speaker 4: I take the cabbage leaves and I stick them.
- 8:05Speaker 5: In my brawl.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I seem to remember you telling me that once upon
- 8:09Speaker 3: a time. No, it works, and there is something to
- 8:12Speaker 3: be said about the cooling feeling of cabbage leaves. But
- 8:16Speaker 3: now I don't wait the cabbage leaves. I don't want
- 8:19Speaker 3: to know where they've been. Oh Lord, have mercy. Anybody
- 8:23Speaker 3: see anything ridiculous in the office fridge, Maybe the office, sneak,
- 8:27Speaker 3: call us and tell us and save the show where
- 8:31Speaker 3: Toby and Chilly in the Morning we can't wait to
- 8:33Speaker 3: hear from you. But Top's Stories at the top of
- 8:35Speaker 3: the hour. On the way before we get to anything else, Katie,
- 8:38Speaker 3: what's going on.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Looks like this sports team in DC is really struggling.
- 8:44Speaker 4: We'll tell you all about it in just a few
- 8:46Speaker 4: What wouldn't you do with an extra thousand dollars? I mean,
- 8:50Speaker 4: think of it. Unforeseen expenses popped up, You got it.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Maybe you want to take a vacation or a last
- 8:56Speaker 4: minute summer road trip. You could do it. All you
- 8:59Speaker 4: need to do is listen.

- 10:01Speaker 4: were unenrolled last week after reportedly failing to meet payment deadlines.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Prince George's County is moving forward with a plan to
- 10:09Speaker 4: help finance the Sphere project at National Harbor. The County
- 10:13Speaker 4: Council gave final approval for a special taxing district for
- 10:16Speaker 4: the project yesterday. The county will not finance the construction directly,
- 10:20Speaker 4: but the taxes collected will go to a fund that
- 10:24Speaker 4: will offset some of the costs. County leaders support the project,
- 10:28Speaker 4: saying it could offset recent closures of six Flags America
- 10:32Speaker 4: and the Commander's upcoming move back to DC. Are you
- 10:36Speaker 4: looking for love my hones? See your Dentist. A new
