  Speaker 1: ambitious is divine purpose and that is a spiritual concept.

  Speaker 1: So to be truly self expressed is a part of

  Speaker 1: your spiritual journey. And I think you need your however

  Speaker 1: way in which you do it, and there are lots

  Speaker 1: of ways to be connected. You need your spiritual journey

  Speaker 1: and your practices to help you be truly as ambitious

  Speaker 1: as you want to be. And so yeah, I think

  Speaker 1: they go hand in hand. I think what gets tricky

  Speaker 1: is judging yourself. So there's this sense that if I'm

  Speaker 1: being ambitious, then I must be a bad person or
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: spiritual people don't care about material things and accolades and praise.

  Speaker 1: But that's just not true. Mm hmm. No. I think
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: we're here to live a full life and we're in
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: this time space reality, so yeah, we're supposed to enjoy
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: all that is possible for us. And limiting your yourself
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: to either or I'm either spiritual or I'm ambitious is
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: limiting your journey. I think we're here to blend the
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: two and to move through whatever it is that we're
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: up to with integrity, with love, with peace, with joy,

  Speaker 1: and that's not always easy, and that's the journey is
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: learning how to do that. I think we're running against

  Speaker 1: the belief that ambitious means you're a bad person, and

  Speaker 1: that's not true. Ambition means you did something underhanded, that's
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: not true. That's as bad as all rich people are
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: easy or evil, or rich people are bad. They took
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: advantage of someone. That's a lie. You can be ambitious
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: and not ever take advantage of someone. You can be
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: ambitious and be mother Teresa, you know, in terms of
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: heart of Gold. Yeah, No, I think they go hand
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: in hand. I think your ambitions is supposed to align
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: with divine purpose, and that's all spiritual. And I think
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: truly ambitious people who are succeeding consistently over a long

  Speaker 1: period of time are connected to a source bigger than themselves.

  Speaker 1: No matter how they define it. They may never call
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: it God, they may never call it spirit, but they
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: are connected to something bigger than themselves. It could be love, right,

  Speaker 1: it could be community, whatever is something bigger than you
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: that drives you. Is always good, is always good? Yeah,

  Speaker 1: So we absolutely you can be spiritual and deeply ambitious,

  Speaker 1: and I believe you're supposed to be. The days of

  Speaker 1: I'm either or are so behind us because it's really
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: just a myth. It's just an excuse to suffer. All right, Listen,
