  May 26th Wisdom that guides your heart.

  Here's something worth thinking about.

  Of all the things you could develop in your life skills,
• 0:17
  influence, wealth, good looks, a great reputation, What actually
• 0:21
  lasts? What's the thing that keeps
• 0:24
  working for you across every season, every relationship,
• 0:27
  every challenge you'll face? Proverbs chapter 16, verses 21
• 0:32
  and 22 make a compelling case for wisdom and understanding.
• 0:37
  The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of
• 0:40
  speech increases persuasiveness. Understanding is a fountain of
• 0:44
  life to one who has it. But folly is the punishment of
• 0:47
  fools, a fountain of life. That's not a small image.
• 0:51
  Wisdom isn't just useful, it's life giving.
• 0:54
  It flows, it refreshes, it keeps going, and notice that it
• 0:59
  doesn't stay contained. It flows outward through your
• 1:02
  speech, your influence, your relationships.
• 1:05
  A wise heart produces words that actually move people that
• 1:09
  persuade, not through manipulation, but through
• 1:11
  genuine clarity and grace. When you speak from a place of
• 1:14
  real understanding, people feel it.
• 1:18
  And then Ephesians chapter one verse 3 expands the picture
• 1:21
  magnificently. Blessed be the God and Father of
• 1:25
  our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every
• 1:29
  spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, every spiritual
• 1:32
  blessing in Christ. You are not lacking.
• 1:36
  You are not working from a deficit, trying to scrape
• 1:39
  together enough wisdom or enough faith or enough grace to get by.
• 1:44
  You have been blessed, past tense already done with
• 1:47
  everything you need spiritually. The resources are already there,
• 1:50
  already given, already yours in Him.
• 1:54
  And verse 11 grounds that in something even more settled in
• 1:57
  Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been
• 2:01
  predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all
• 2:04
  things according to the counsel of His will.
• 2:07
  God is not improvising with your life.
• 2:10
  He is not reacting to circumstances and trying to make
• 2:13
  the best of a bad situation. He is working all things, every
• 2:18
  detail, every twist, every unexpected turn, according to
• 2:22
  His perfect, purposeful will. Your life is not random.
• 2:27
  It is held and shaped and guided by a God who knows exactly what
• 2:31
  he is doing. That matters so much.
• 2:33
  When you're in the middle of something confusing, when you
• 2:36
  don't know which way to go, when a decision feels too big for
• 2:39
  you, when you're unsure whether what you're doing matters, come
• 2:42
  back to this. You have been given wisdom
• 2:45
  through the Spirit, you have been blessed with every
• 2:48
  spiritual resource you need, and you are in the hands of a God
• 2:52
  who works all things according to His purpose.
• 2:56
  So the invitation today is to actually use what you've been
• 2:59
  given, not to coast on the idea of being blessed without walking
• 3:03
  in it. Use discernment before you
• 3:05
  speak. Bring understanding to your
• 3:07
  relationships. Think before you react.
• 3:10
  Choose words that build rather than damage.
• 3:13
  Let the wisdom God has placed in you be the thing that shapes
• 3:16
  your conversations today. Because here's what's true.
• 3:20
  Your words have impact far beyond what you typically
• 3:23
  realize. An encouragement you offer in
• 3:26
  passing might be exactly what someone needed to keep going.
• 3:30
  A thoughtful response in a tense moment might defuse something
• 3:33
  that could have escalated badly. The wisdom you carry when you
• 3:37
  actually walk in it doesn't just benefit you.
• 3:41
  It touches the people around you in ways you may never fully see.
• 3:45
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 3:47
  blessing me with every spiritual blessing in Christ, including
• 3:51
  wisdom and discernment. Help me to actually walk in what
• 3:55
  you've given me. Let my words be life giving,
• 3:58
  grounded in genuine understanding rather than
• 4:00
  reaction. And on the days when I don't
• 4:03
  know what to do or say, remind me that you are working all
• 4:07
  things according to your will and I can trust you with every
• 4:10
  detail of my life. Guide my heart and my mouth
• 4:13
  today in Jesus name, Amen. What if the battles hitting your

  family are not random and your home can become a place where

  things for the assembly which is his body, the fullness of him
