Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. A few days ago, we were talking about
• 0:07
Speaker 1: a story about Hugh Hefner, who had called the FBI
• 0:10
Speaker 1: to report Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein's alleged behavior. Well,
• 0:15
Speaker 1: we have a little bit more about that story now,
• 0:18
Speaker 1: so we're going to talk about it again and add
• 0:20
Speaker 1: a little bit of context to what we talked about previously.
• 0:24
Speaker 1: And I find it striking that a guy like Hugh Hefner,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: of all people, would be a whistleblower. I mean, considering
• 0:30
Speaker 1: some of the vile shit he was accused of, it's
• 0:33
Speaker 1: wild to think that even he thought that Jeffrey Epstein
• 0:36
Speaker 1: was an animal. So today we have an article from
• 0:40
Speaker 1: the New York Post and the headline Hugh Hefner repeatedly
• 0:43
Speaker 1: called the FBI on Jeffrey Epstein after Playboy playmate was raped.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: Lawsuit details reviewal. This article was authored by Gabrielle Sammy.
• 0:53
Speaker 1: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner repeatedly called the FBI or report
• 0:57
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein for sexual abuse in two thousand and five
• 1:00
Speaker 1: after a Playboy playmate told him she was raped in
• 1:03
Speaker 1: traffic by the disgraced financier pedophile. According to new details
• 1:08
Speaker 1: in a lawsuit, Audra Lynn Christiansen, miss October of two
• 1:12
Speaker 1: thousand and three, turned to Hefner for help when she
• 1:15
Speaker 1: was twenty three and living at his Beverly Hills mansion,
• 1:18
Speaker 1: prompting the Late magazine publisher to call the agency multiple
• 1:22
Speaker 1: times for assistance. According to the suit filed by thirty
• 1:25
Speaker 1: two Epstein victims against the United States, that's the lawsuit
• 1:30
Speaker 1: to watch. That's the one that's filed against the FBI.
• 1:33
Speaker 1: And this is gonna be a big deal. I'm telling
• 1:36
Speaker 1: you right now. The fact that Hugh Hefner, captain scumbag himself,
• 1:40
Speaker 1: called the FBI multiple times and nobody did shit, that
• 1:44
Speaker 1: should tell you everything you need to know. I would
• 1:47
Speaker 1: think that you're going to listen to somebody like Hugh
• 1:48
Speaker 1: Hefner if they're calling about sex crimes being committed, right,
• 1:52
Speaker 1: Probably a good idea. In addition to the rape allegations,
• 1:56
Speaker 1: Christianensen said she confided in Hefner that she was also
• 2:00
Speaker 1: traffick to one of his rich friends, macal Casino billionaire
• 2:03
Speaker 1: Stanley Ho, China's godfather of gambling, who died in twenty
• 2:07
Speaker 1: twenty According to the filing, no nobody was ever trafficked.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Come on, Daniel Saiad never existed, Jean lu Brenaud never existed,
• 2:15
Speaker 1: Jess Staley, Prince Andrew Bill Richardson, George Mitchell, Marvin Minsky
• 2:21
Speaker 1: never existed. There was no trafficking. She asked half her
• 2:24
Speaker 1: a call on her behalf in two thousand and five
• 2:26
Speaker 1: because she felt she had law enforcement connections and the
• 2:30
Speaker 1: clout to her allegations were taken seriously. Mister Hefner called
• 2:35
Speaker 1: the FBI multiple times on behalf of Miss Christiansen to
• 2:38
Speaker 1: report Jeffrey Epstein. The complaint states. The revelations are part
• 2:42
Speaker 1: of an amended complaint filed in May in the US
• 2:45
Speaker 1: District Court for the Southern District of Florida by epstein
• 2:48
Speaker 1: survivors who charged the FBI failed to act on multiple
• 2:52
Speaker 1: reports about his sexual abuse as early as nineteen ninety six.
• 2:57
Speaker 1: And for those of you who have been listening to
• 2:58
Speaker 1: the podcast, you know that that's something I've been calling
• 3:01
Speaker 1: for for a very long time, holding the FBI accountable.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: They could have stopped Epstein many many times, but they
• 3:09
Speaker 1: were way too busy engaging in other bullshit. So now
• 3:13
Speaker 1: that the bill is coming due. I hope they have
• 3:15
Speaker 1: to pay it to the tune of hundreds of millions
• 3:18
Speaker 1: of dollars, just like with Larry Nasser, because this is
• 3:24
Speaker 1: even more egregious. We're talking about reports that were made,
• 3:27
Speaker 1: documented time and time again by multiple people, and they
• 3:31
Speaker 1: were just ignored, filed away, given to Jeffrey Epstein's handler.
• 3:35
Speaker 1: Maybe one Thing's for damn sure, they were not acted upon,
• 3:39
Speaker 1: that's for damn sure. The fact that the FBI is
• 3:44
Speaker 1: trying to utilize procedural technicalities to try to avert accountability
• 3:48
Speaker 1: and responsibility for its failure to properly investigate Jeffrey Epstein
• 3:52
Speaker 1: for over twenty years should be deeply concerning to all.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: Jordan Meerson, lawyer for the victims, told the Post, how
• 4:00
Speaker 1: can you learn from errors if you don't acknowledge them,
• 4:03
Speaker 1: And that's one of the biggest problems. We don't know
• 4:06
Speaker 1: who is making decisions. Well we do, but we can't
• 4:09
Speaker 1: confirm it, and we don't know who was involved on
• 4:12
Speaker 1: the ground level, So how can we ever have accountability?
• 4:16
Speaker 1: And that's why the whole entire OIG investigation was a
• 4:20
Speaker 1: bunch of bullshit. It was a whitewash. Who was held accountable,
• 4:23
Speaker 1: who lost their jobs, who lost their pensions, Who want
• 4:26
Speaker 1: to prison? Oh that's right, nobody except for Michael Thomas
• 4:32
Speaker 1: and Tovin o Weel, And both of them should have
• 4:35
Speaker 1: been sitting in a jail cell. By the way, But
• 4:38
Speaker 1: of course we could have this explode. We couldn't have
• 4:41
Speaker 1: people ask more questions. We couldn't have a trial with
• 4:44
Speaker 1: discovery where there'd be actual evidence handed over, could we?
• 4:48
Speaker 1: Of course not. So, like everything else in this gigantic,
• 4:52
Speaker 1: fucking cover up, there was a settlement, an out of
• 4:56
Speaker 1: court settlement that allowed the two guards to go on
• 4:58
Speaker 1: with their little lives. And what about all the other
• 5:00
Speaker 1: people that we talked about, all the other depositions that
• 5:03
Speaker 1: we read through. None of those people are getting called
• 5:06
Speaker 1: before Congress. They have no desire to speak to anybody
• 5:09
Speaker 1: that was there the Knight of Epstein's death. The whole
• 5:12
Speaker 1: entire thing is a fucking sham. And believe me when
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: I tell you, I wish that I didn't have to
• 5:18
Speaker 1: talk about this anymore. I wish we were talking about
• 5:21
Speaker 1: something else. But the truth is, until this weight is
• 5:24
Speaker 1: lifted from our chest, everything else is on the back burner.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: The Minnesota born former model wrote in the two thousand
• 5:32
Speaker 1: and three Playmate data sheet that accompanied her nude centerfold
• 5:36
Speaker 1: that her turn on was a secure, older man who
• 5:38
Speaker 1: makes me laugh, and her turnoffs included being taken for granted.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: Hefner himself was accused of rape five years after his
• 5:46
Speaker 1: twenty seventeen death and the Damning Secrets of Playboy documentary,
• 5:51
Speaker 1: where women said he was a predator who was also
• 5:54
Speaker 1: into bestiality. Imagine that shit. If a guy that's allegedly
• 5:58
Speaker 1: into bestiality and as a known predator like Hugh Hefner,
• 6:03
Speaker 1: thinks you're a dirt bag, what the fuck does that
• 6:06
Speaker 1: say about you? Has there ever been a dirt bag
• 6:10
Speaker 1: that dirt bagged as big as Jeffrey Epstein? I don't
• 6:13
Speaker 1: think so. Maybe the world's biggest dirt bag. Maybe we
• 6:17
Speaker 1: should do some like March Madness kind of pornament and
• 6:20
Speaker 1: we could let you guys decide who the biggest scumbag
• 6:23
Speaker 1: of all time ever was, Because for my money, Jeffrey
• 6:26
Speaker 1: Epstein's one seed without a doubt, and if we're being real,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: so is Hugh Hefner. The claims never made it to court,
• 6:34
Speaker 1: and Hefner wasn't accused of ray. While he was alive.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: In the files release last year by the Department of Justice,
• 6:41
Speaker 1: Hoe is referred to as the richest man in Hong
• 6:43
Speaker 1: Kong in a twenty eleven email from Epstein to his
• 6:47
Speaker 1: friend Boris Nikolitch, adding owns most of Macau, the leader
• 6:51
Speaker 1: of the Chinese Mob. The FBI tried to get the
• 6:54
Speaker 1: lawsuit thrown out in June, saying it was not required
• 6:56
Speaker 1: to investigate every complaint received. The case is still before
• 7:00
Speaker 1: the courts, as it should be. This case shouldn't be
• 7:03
Speaker 1: thrown out. That would be just ludicrous because if anybody
• 7:08
Speaker 1: deserves to pay the price to hold the bag, it's
• 7:11
Speaker 1: the FBI. They had every single chance to stop this man,
• 7:17
Speaker 1: and they chose not to. So who was making the
• 7:21
Speaker 1: decision to not go after this guy? Now, remember when
• 7:25
Speaker 1: this was filed, it was under the Bush administration. And
• 7:28
Speaker 1: that shouldn't shock you either, because remember Epstein was being
• 7:32
Speaker 1: protected not only by Trump but by everybody going back
• 7:37
Speaker 1: to the first Clinton administration. And I know people don't
• 7:40
Speaker 1: like to hear it, but the truth is the truth.
• 7:43
Speaker 1: And unless we understand that both sides of the aisle
• 7:47
Speaker 1: are in on this, we're never gonna have real accountability
• 7:50
Speaker 1: and while the EFTA is a good start, it doesn't
• 7:54
Speaker 1: go far enough. It never did and it never will.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: There's no teeth. So how do you hold people account
• 8:00
Speaker 1: who are named in the EFTA and who have you know,
• 8:04
Speaker 1: ties to Epstein that run deeper than just meeting them
• 8:07
Speaker 1: for a dinner one night. There's levels to this, and
• 8:10
Speaker 1: there's people that were more involved than other people, whether
• 8:14
Speaker 1: that's financially, whether that's with the abuse, whether that's you know,
• 8:18
Speaker 1: just in the enabling. There are different layers to this.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: And when we're talking about people like Hugh Hefner calling
• 8:27
Speaker 1: the FBI on Jeffrey Epstein, I would think that the
• 8:31
Speaker 1: FBI would take that serious, right. I mean, if Michael
• 8:33
Speaker 1: Berry is calling you and telling you that there's financial malfeasance,
• 8:36
Speaker 1: you might want to listen to what he says. So
• 8:38
Speaker 1: if one of the Kings of Slime is calling you
• 8:40
Speaker 1: and telling you that Epstein is abusing women, abused one
• 8:43
Speaker 1: of the Playboy playmates, I would think that would be
• 8:46
Speaker 1: an investigation that you would open at the very least cursory. Right,
• 8:50
Speaker 1: All right, Cool, we got this tip from Hugh Hefner
• 8:52
Speaker 1: and he called multiple times. Maybe we should send a
• 8:55
Speaker 1: couple of agents over to the mansion to get an
• 8:58
Speaker 1: idea about what's going on. But what did they do? Nothing?
• 9:03
Speaker 1: They ignored it. So that makes them negligent, doesn't it.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: And if they're negligent, then they should pay the lawsuit,
• 9:11
Speaker 1: whatever the number is and whatever the judge decides. And
• 9:15
Speaker 1: while I understand it's taxpayer dollars. So what you got, beef,
• 9:21
Speaker 1: take it up with the FBI, because they should have
• 9:24
Speaker 1: done the right thing. They should have done their job.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: They should have held people accountable. They should have investigated
• 9:31
Speaker 1: all of these tips, but instead they ignored it. So
• 9:36
Speaker 1: now the question becomes why did they ignore it? Who
• 9:39
Speaker 1: ordered them to do so? And why would they do that?
• 9:43
Speaker 1: What did the FBI? What did the DOJ What did
• 9:46
Speaker 1: the country have to gain from helping Jeffrey Epstein from
• 9:50
Speaker 1: protecting Jeffrey Epstein, from making sure that Jeffrey Epstein's secrets
• 9:55
Speaker 1: didn't spill out into the public. What was gained? And
• 10:00
Speaker 1: that's where we come to the whole intelligence angle, right,
• 10:03
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein being an asset, Jeffrey Epstein providing a service
• 10:07
Speaker 1: for the government that supersedes what he's doing in his
• 10:11
Speaker 1: spare time, and That's really what it comes down to.
• 10:13
Speaker 1: That's the heart of the story. It's no different than
• 10:16
Speaker 1: Whitey Bulger or any of the other scumbags that the
• 10:18
Speaker 1: government has run throughout time. This is what they do
• 10:23
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. It was just a different level, right,
• 10:26
Speaker 1: a different kind of scam. But when you peel back
• 10:30
Speaker 1: the layers and you start really getting down to it,
• 10:35
Speaker 1: one thing remains at the core, the unanswered questions about
• 10:39
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and his involvement with the United States government,
• 10:43
Speaker 1: and the more stories you hear about the FBI ignoring
• 10:46
Speaker 1: tips like this, they didn't miss it, they ignored it,
• 10:50
Speaker 1: and that dereliction of duty led to decades of abuse
• 10:54
Speaker 1: by Jeffrey Epstein. So, in my opinion, the question isn't
• 10:58
Speaker 1: if the survivors are going to win this lawsuit. The
• 11:01
Speaker 1: question is how much is the FBI gonna be on
• 11:05
Speaker 1: the hook for. And of course, when we get that information,
• 11:08
Speaker 1: we'll get it added to the catalog. All the information
• 11:11
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: description box.
