Hello everyone and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. It's another edition
• 0:47
and here it is, From Anxiety to Insurance. We're doing a mental health episode,
• 0:53
Finding Peace When Your Mind Isn't Quiet.
• 0:56
My name is Angel and I'm your host of Have Faith, Let It Begin.
• 0:59
I'm glad you're joining me in the middle of the week.
• 1:01
You know, we've talked about end times. We've talked about how to use social
• 1:05
  media without losing faith.
• 1:07
And today we're going to get personal because for so many of us,
• 1:12
myself included, there are moments when the mind just doesn't quiet down,
• 1:17
moments when anxiety whispers louder than peace.
• 1:20
But I believe God has something to say about that.
• 1:24
Today's message is called From Anxiety to Insurance, Finding Peace When Your Mindset Isn't Quiet.
• 1:31
If you're like me and you've had nights when you just can't sleep,
• 1:36
that happened to me this weekend, your thoughts race.
• 1:39
Did I do enough today? What if tomorrow doesn't go as planned?
• 1:43
You check your phone, you scroll through your feed, and instead of peace, you find more noise.
• 1:49
And it's easy to feel alone in all of that. But here's the truth. You're not alone.
• 1:56
Anxiety doesn't mean you lack faith. It just means you're human.
• 2:01
And you need to let God meet you right there, in the middle of the storm.
• 2:07
The Bible is full of people who struggle with fear and doubt And every time
• 2:14
God reminded them, I'm still here.
• 2:17
There were moments in my own life when anxiety felt like it was winning When
• 2:23
I didn't know how things would turn out,
• 2:26
But each time I heard that small inner voice, that small voice,
• 2:32
be still and know that I am God.
• 2:35
You see, God doesn't promise that life will be quiet.
• 2:41
He promises that his presence will bring calm even when it's loud.
• 2:46
Maybe right now you're driving to work, sitting in traffic, feeling the weight
• 2:50
of the world, or maybe you have a to-do list and you feel like you're overwhelmed.
• 2:55
So you'll take a deep breath.
• 2:56
Even when everything feels uncertain, God is still in control.
• 3:01
And the good news, you don't have to have it all figured out, newsflash.
• 3:06
You just have to trust the one who does.
• 3:11
Faith doesn't erase anxiety overnight, but it anchors you when the waves rise.
• 3:18
So, let me read from Philippians chapter 4, verses 6-7.
• 3:23
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition,
• 3:28
with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God,
• 3:34
which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in
• 3:39
Christ Jesus. Amen. Word of the Lord.
• 3:43
That's one of my favorite verses because it reminds us peace isn't something
• 3:48
we create. It's something we receive.
• 3:51
When we take our worries to God, he doesn't just listen.
• 3:56
He responds with comfort, even when your world feels chaotic.
• 4:01
Oh, God knows I feel that way at times. His peace remains unshaken.
• 4:06
So today, whatever you're facing, I want you to take one step at a time.
• 4:10
When your mind starts racing, pause and pray When fear tries to rise,
• 4:17
let faith rise higher Say to yourself, God, I don't know what tomorrow holds
• 4:24
But I know you hold me If you can breathe,
• 4:27
you can believe If you can think,
• 4:30
you can thank And if you can worry, you
• 4:34
can worship Because worship shifts your focus
• 4:37
from your problems to his problems when
• 4:41
anxiety whispers what if let your
• 4:44
faith shout even if thank you for spending time with me today remember that
• 4:50
you're not alone in your struggles god sees you god loves you and god is fighting
• 4:55
for your peace never forget the importance of how you matter and always never forget.
• 5:04
To have faith and let it begin. So may God be with you.
• 5:08
May he share his light upon you and provide you peace on earth.
• 5:14
  See you tomorrow. Take care.
• 5:18
  Have faith.
• 5:23
  Let it begin.
