  Taurus new moon, it's exactly conjunct Algal, the fixed star

  that is traditionally talked about in our modern and old
• 0:44
  ancient astrology as the demon star.

  But my take on algal, it might surprise you because I actually

  think, what if algal was misnamed?

  What if the reputation for this fixed star of being destructive,

  this demonization, this losing 1 head is sometimes how Algol's

  referred? But what if that's actually just
• 1:04
  part of something being purposefully misnamed,

  purposefully conditioning us to demonize, trusting our bodies,

  trusting ourselves, and trusting our desires, our truth?

  What if this is actually the moment, this Taurus New moon

  where we cause a destruction in the old definitions by

  dismantling all of that bullshit and actually claiming our

  desires, our truth with an absolute unwillingness to

  continue living in a state of denial, self denial, self

  counterbalance to include this coexistence of the energy of

  this new moon. So in this new moon chart, we

  can see that this new moon is happening exact at 25° of
• 5:59
  Taurus. And I love how astrology layers

  similar messages again and again and again.

  Like it keeps pointing to the same thing again and again and
• 6:06
  again if we look at it from different ways, different
• 6:08
  vantage points. Because when this chart, we've
• 6:10
  got a Contra Anticia to Pluto retrograde and Aquarius.
• 6:13
  So that means they're in this secret hidden aspect.
• 6:17
  They have a secret connection and Pluto just station
• 6:20
  retrograde right around the time of the Scorpio full moon.
• 6:22
  O Pluto is working behind the scenes.
• 6:25
  Pluto is sitting in a state of observation, more so kind of
• 6:29
  watching, waiting, really taking notes and observations and kind
• 6:33
  of plotting. Pluto is not necessarily up in
• 6:37
  your face being direct about the power moves that it's going to
• 6:40
  execute or the things that it needs to evolve.

  It's taking notes, babe. It's taking notes on you, or
• 6:45
  maybe you're the one taking notes.

  It's acting from a more quiet place of power and it's also
• 6:51
  shaking hands with the Taurus New moon and the intentions that
• 6:54
  we set, the things that we begin in this secret hidden aspect,

  the Contra and Tisha. Oh, and then another layer we're

  going to add on is that this new moon happening just a day or so
• 7:06
  after that Kazimi means it's conjunct Mercury.

  Mercury just completed its superior conjunction with the
• 7:11
  sun crossing through the heart, being reborn as the evening
• 7:15
  star. And this is important because

  this actually is an exact mirror to what happened at the Scorpio
• 7:21
  New Moon back in November. So back in November, I don't
• 7:25
  know if you remember, but on November 19th, 2025, the Scorpio
• 7:28
  New Moon was at 28° of Scorpio and it was exactly conjunct
• 7:32
  Mercury retrograde. So Mercury at the heart and the
• 7:35
  deepest depths of its retrograde cycle being reborn as morning
• 7:39
  stars, the exact polarity opposite point of this Kazimi.
• 7:43
  And that New moon was also Anticia.
• 7:45
  It was in a secret aspect with Pluto and Aquarius by degree.
• 7:49
  So we have these repetitions and themes coming full circle from
• 7:54
  the depths in the dark and maybe the rock bottoms of the Scorpio
• 7:58
  New Moon moment, the truths that were on deniable.

  There was this turning point that started in November.
• 8:04
  And if the Scorpio full moon was this final confrontation of the
• 8:07
  truth we needed to face in regards to that rock bottom to
• 8:10
  honest living redemption arc that started in November.

  This is the moment at this Taurus New Moon, we are setting
• 8:16
  the new foundation and we are being asked not only just to
• 8:19
  hold this new baseline or hold this new standard, We're asked
• 8:23
  to prove it with our actions. We're asked to actually embody
• 8:26
  it through the way that we live our lives, the choices that we
• 8:29
  make, the things we say yes, and the things we say no to.

  Let's also mention that this Taurus New Moon, it's exactly
• 8:36
  conjunct that fixed star algal. So fixed stars, they are not
• 8:40
  planets, they are not asteroids. They are points in the sky that
• 8:43
  never change position. So if you have anything around
• 8:47
  26° of Taurus like me, like my Jupiter retrograde in Taurus
• 8:53
  exactly conjunct algal, then you might resonate with some of the
• 8:56
  things that we discuss in what's opening and being seated at the
• 9:00
  time of this new moon. And so let's talk about algal
• 9:02
  for a second. Algal, this fixed tar that I
• 9:05
  truly believe is part of the feminine that's been renamed,
• 9:08
  misprinted, and demonized by our systems of the powers that have
• 9:13
  been. But will they always be?
• 9:16
  That is the question of the Taurus New moon.
• 9:18
  So let me just read a little bit about algal.
• 9:21
  Algal is traditionally called the most malefic or destructive
• 9:25
  star in the sky associated with the myth of Medusa.
• 9:28
  And there's a lot of writing out there you can find online.
• 9:32
  It talks about this destructive quality of somebody losing their
• 9:35
  head, so losing their ability to connect to logic or reason, and
• 9:39
  being kind of named as being crazy, acting crazy, and the
• 9:43
  threat of Medusa's eyes casting into stone.
• 9:46
  So there was a demonization of not only this fixed star, but
• 9:49
  also the mythology of Medusa that I could probably spend an
• 9:53
  entire hour talking about, but I want to keep going.
• 9:55
  So thinking about this myth of alcohol and Medusa, what's
• 9:59
  important here is why that reputation exists.

  There's a strong argument that this story reflects A rewritten
• 10:06
  narrative of suppressed feminine power.
• 10:09
  What if Medusa wasn't inherently monstrous?
• 10:12
  What if she became a symbol of what happens when truth, rage,
• 10:16
  and violated boundaries are demonized to maintain control?
• 10:20
  And this archetype extends beyond gender.
• 10:22
  This is about anyone who is made to feel crazy, dismissed, or
• 10:27
  shamed in order to keep them disconnected from their own
• 10:30
  clarity and power. So, thinking in this moment, who
• 10:36
  in your life has ever taught you to distrust your own knowing?
• 10:41
  To discount your own desire? Maybe there's not even one
• 10:46
  specific person that you could locate.
• 10:49
  But what would it be like to live your life trusting your
• 10:53
  desire, trusting your truth, trusting your ability to feel
• 10:58
  safe and secure, to express your needs, your feelings, and your
• 11:03
  standards? Your standards of how you're
• 11:06
  treated, The standards of true social harmony and peace.

  So this Taurus new moon, yes, it's beautiful.

  It's a lunation that's in Venus's home sign and it's in a
• 11:16
  version to both of our malefic Mars and Saturn and Aries.
• 11:19
  So it's free from the planets that bring us gifts through
• 11:23
  challenge. And of course, the cycle, we're
• 11:25
  going to get that incredible Sagittarius full moon.

  It happens to be a blue moon. And we're also going to have the
• 11:30
  Venus Jupiter conjunction. Like there's a lot of really
• 11:33
  sweet, beautiful gifts that are peaceful, that are harmonious,
• 11:37
  that do speak to a sense of bringing blessed, pressing,
• 11:40
  bringing things that we value, bringing valuable connections
• 11:43
  into our lives. And it's also saying that if you
• 11:46
  want to make the most of this new moon cycle, if you want to
• 11:50
  create a true starting point of security and stability from this
• 11:54
  new baseline, that's going to require a deeper level of
• 11:58
  honoring yourself, honoring your body, what your body truly feels
• 12:02
  and needs. When you feel you need to rest,
• 12:04
  what stops you from resting? What stops you from feeling
• 12:08
  permission? Ask for what you really want to
• 12:12
  actually invest your money, your time, your energy, and to things
• 12:16
  that genuinely feel good through and through and through.

  And I just think this new moon, what would it be like if
• 12:23
  everyone in the world started living from that level of truth
• 12:28
  and self trust? I mean, I feel like we'd be
• 12:29
  having a lot more park picnics and we'd be enjoying our roses
• 12:34
  and good times with good people in connections that feel safe
• 12:38
  and equally balanced. An exchange that feels less
• 12:42
  conditional, less like it's going to have to cost us
• 12:45
  something in order to get something that we want.
• 12:49
  So yeah, in my opinion, I think the Taurus new moon is kind of
• 12:52
  intense, but I think it's secretly intense.
• 12:54
  And I think it's more of an internal experience that we
• 12:56
  might be feeling. And with the Mercury kazimi
• 12:58
  right there, the Contra and tissue to Pluto, it's not
• 13:01
  telling you to go on a mountain and scream this out.

  Like, don't get a microphone and tell the world.

  Just show it to yourself. Prove it to yourself during this

  lunar cycle while we have all this good astrology and watch

  what can grow, what kind of quality of living can grow.
