Central Ohio’s heat advisory just got extended through Friday, September 4th, with temps and humidity making it feel over 100 degrees. The National Weather Service warns of dangerous heat index levels, covering most of the state except areas like Delaware and Licking, where incoming storms will bring cooler air. Residents are urged to hydrate, seek shade, and reschedule outdoor activities. As a community response, COTA is offering free rides for the third straight day to help people stay cool and safe.
