Evening — October 23 — John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. — John 6:63
True spiritual vitality originates exclusively from the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit rather than human performance. Relying on personal discipline to achieve holiness creates a hollow religion that lacks the transformative power of the resurrection. You must abandon the pursuit of self-manufactured righteousness to receive the life-giving work of the Spirit.
