What does it mean to say that Christ loves the church as a husband loves his bride?
In this lesson, we look at Ephesians 5 and Song of Solomon 1 to explore the intimacy, desire, grace, and closeness Jesus wants with His church. The Song of Solomon describes the longing between a bride and her beloved, and that relationship helps us appreciate the far greater love Christ has for us.
