- 0:02Speaker 1: This is a Bramble Jam podcast. Welcome to Girls gott Hallmark,
- 0:23Speaker 1: a Hallmark review podcast. I'm Megan and I'm a longtime
- 0:26Speaker 1: Hallmark fan.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I'm Wendy.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I'm a former Hallmark hater. If you're wondering what's going
- 0:31Speaker 1: on around here on today's episode, we are in the
- 0:34Speaker 1: middle of a fan favorite series of reviews all month
- 0:38Speaker 1: long in April. We are viewing movies suggested by you
- 0:41Speaker 1: are listeners in our Facebook group, and today we are
- 0:44Speaker 1: discussing Her pen Pal, which originally aired on Hallmark on
- 0:48Speaker 1: June nineteenth, twenty twenty one. We mentioned our Facebook group.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We'll talk more about it in a minute, but if
- 0:54Speaker 1: you want to hang out with us, we would love
- 0:56Speaker 1: for you to be our friend on Instagram, where we
- 0:58Speaker 1: are Girls Gone Home.
- 1:00Speaker 2: If you want to join our Facebook group, please do so.
- 1:04Speaker 2: It's Girls Gone Hallmark in Facebook groups. This is where
- 1:08Speaker 2: we mostly pulled everybody for these movie suggestions for our
- 1:12Speaker 2: April fan favorites. So if you want to get in
- 1:15Speaker 2: the mix over there, come join us.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like that's where all of our besties are.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Wendy made like an offhanded request for volunteer to help
- 1:24Speaker 1: us with something and we've got people who were like,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I'll do it. So it just makes me happy that
- 1:30Speaker 1: little community over there. I love y'all so much. Speaking
- 1:35Speaker 1: of how much I love y'all, we just recorded a
- 1:37Speaker 1: Listener mail Bag episode that dropped last week, and I
- 1:40Speaker 1: want to say those are quickly becoming my favorite episodes
- 1:43Speaker 1: because it feels like the only chance we get on
- 1:45Speaker 1: the podcast to bring in the community. Not the only chance,
- 1:49Speaker 1: but the best way to have a conversation with our listeners. Yeah. So,
- 1:54Speaker 1: if you want to participate in a future Listener Mailbag episode,
- 1:57Speaker 1: anything goes. Email us your thoughts on the movies you're watching,
- 2:02Speaker 1: upcoming movies, you've heard about, bonkers ideas you have for
- 2:05Speaker 1: future Hallmark movies. Girls Gone Homemark at gmail dot com.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And speaking of feedback, Wendy, you know, every episode I
- 2:12Speaker 1: close with a request for a rating or a review,
- 2:15Speaker 1: and they are so happy I have a new one. Ooh,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I don't think you've seen this one. Maybe I'm scared, yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 1: because I'm gonna get on here and read a one
- 2:24Speaker 1: story review. I mean, but I would have sent it
- 2:27Speaker 1: to you first and then talk to some serious you
- 2:30Speaker 1: know what. Okay, Okay, this one's five stars from Rosemary Designs,
- 2:34Speaker 1: who says I'm a longtime Hallmark fan but not a
- 2:36Speaker 1: podcast listener. Found Wendy and Megan's podcast when doing a
- 2:40Speaker 1: deep dive online for the Way Home Hallmark series. Love
- 2:43Speaker 1: their thoughtful and genuine conversations about series and movies I enjoy.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I compare their podcast to a favorite book club where
- 2:50Speaker 1: I read a book I adore and then listen to
- 2:52Speaker 1: others share their excitement and dismay on characters, plotlines, and
- 2:56Speaker 1: story endings. You have me as a listening fan. Hey,
- 3:00Speaker 1: with the great conversation, ladies, I'm here for all of it. Welcome.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Don't go too far back, you know, but I everyone's not.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I re listened some of our early episodes. We were
- 3:14Speaker 1: real haters. We I think me might have been the
- 3:19Speaker 1: real hater. Yeah, but I think we shared. Sometimes. I
- 3:24Speaker 1: just want to make those episodes disappear. But some of
- 3:26Speaker 1: those early episodes are real popular, so I just I
- 3:29Speaker 1: just can't do it. Yeah, we've grown. I want to
- 3:31Speaker 1: put a disclaimer on those. I mean, it is what
- 3:35Speaker 1: it is, and hopefully the listener won't won't be like, Oh,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I want to watch never Kiss a Man in a
- 3:43Speaker 1: Christmas sweater and see what Megan and Wendy thought about it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Because we didn't like it. It's on our list of
- 3:49Speaker 1: movies we need to revisit. I will tell you that much. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 3:55Speaker 1: all right, let's hear a synopsis for her penpal event planner.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Victoria can't wait to attend and plan her best friend's
- 4:03Speaker 1: Paris wedding, but when she finds out that her ex
- 4:07Speaker 1: is bringing a date, she reconnects with her French childhood
- 4:12Speaker 1: pen pal. Claire Nitiprum directed the film and has nineteen
- 4:17Speaker 1: directing credits to her name. Her recent work includes The
- 4:20Speaker 1: Royal WI, along with Savoring Paris and An American in
- 4:23Speaker 1: Austin Man. She's one of my faves. Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Juwabotkin wrote the script for her pen pal. She has
- 4:30Speaker 2: a total of thirty writing credits, including standouts like Savoring Paris,
- 4:35Speaker 2: Branching Out and three Bed two Bath one Ghost.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Mallory Jansen plays Victoria. We last saw Mallory in The
- 4:42Speaker 1: Royal WI and is known for her other Hallmark roles
- 4:46Speaker 1: in Francesca Quinn Pi and Paging Mister Darcy.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Joshua Sass plays Jacques. He's an English actor with a
- 4:54Speaker 2: handful of acting credits. This was his first and only
- 4:57Speaker 2: Hallmark role, but can also be seen in a Netflix
- 5:01Speaker 2: movie called Love Is in the Air from twenty twenty three.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Lachlan Nabauer plays ex boyfriend Cameron. Her penpal is his
- 5:08Speaker 2: last known project, but fun fact, he also appeared in
- 5:11Speaker 2: one episode of Downton Abbey back in twenty eleven. Jane
- 5:15Speaker 2: Weisner plays indecisive bride to be Tracy. Jane is an
- 5:19Speaker 2: Irish born actor who has twenty four acting credits. However,
- 5:23Speaker 2: this movie is her only Homewark project.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Gregory Hainey plays fiance Mike, though this is his only
- 5:30Speaker 1: project for Hallmark. He's a working stage actor who has
- 5:32Speaker 1: appeared in Hamilton, Wicked and Bring It On the Musical.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I didn't know there was a Bring It On the
- 5:39Speaker 1: Musical good I'm sure they do the like it's getting
- 5:43Speaker 1: a solder, Yeah cold in here, which I say every
- 5:47Speaker 1: single time I am cold. I freaking love that movie.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Amy Louise Pemberton plays expecting friend Natalie. She is another
- 5:57Speaker 2: English actor who has also appeared in the twenty twenty
- 6:00Speaker 2: three Hallmark movie Pinch of Portugal. Because what I'm realizing
- 6:03Speaker 2: is a lot of people are not using their real accents.
- 6:07Speaker 1: In this movie. John McDonald plays overprotective soon to be
- 6:12Speaker 1: Dad Seth. In addition to acting, he also does stunts
- 6:14Speaker 1: and has doubled for John Krasinski and Tom Clancy's Jack
- 6:17Speaker 1: Ryan and Ryan Reynolds. In The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Amanda Blake plays work wife Jin. She has just nine
- 6:25Speaker 2: acting credits, but has also appeared in the twenty twenty
- 6:27Speaker 2: two movie The Presence of Love, which is in our
- 6:31Speaker 2: April Fan Favorite lineup coming soon. Her pen Pal was
- 6:36Speaker 2: filmed in Bulgaria as well as on location in Paris, France.
- 6:40Speaker 2: We're gonna take a quick break and we're gonna come
- 6:42Speaker 2: right back with our first impressions. Hey, Wendy, what is
- 6:53Speaker 2: your first impression of her pen pal?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Well? I had low expectations for a pen pal romance,
- 6:59Speaker 1: but then they throw in a stone cold hottie. I'm
- 7:03Speaker 1: in Well. Both of our first impressions are about Joshua Sass,
- 7:07Speaker 1: but in different ways. Mine is. I truly can't believe
- 7:10Speaker 1: our news and notes don't call out Joshua Sass as
- 7:12Speaker 1: the star of the CW Netflix one season Wonder No Tommorrow.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I don't know what that movie or show is.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I swear to God, I'm gonna make a super cut
- 7:21Speaker 1: of every single time this comes up, and every single
- 7:23Speaker 1: time you say the same thing. I really don't know
- 7:26Speaker 1: what it is. He's the guy who believes the end
- 7:29Speaker 1: of the world is coming. And the love interest is
- 7:33Speaker 1: another Hallmark actress. She's blonde, she's cute, she was in
- 7:37Speaker 1: that campfire Christmas movie. What's her name? Tory Anderson, Tory Anderson,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I can't remember. That is just for Joshua sass alone.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Don't you think now you need to give that serious chance? Sure,
- 7:51Speaker 1: you're never going to it's so funny, it's so good.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Ted mcginley's in it. Okay, the rest of the cast
- 7:59Speaker 1: is like, they're great, but they're not names that. I'm
- 8:03Speaker 1: telling you. It has become my life's work on the
- 8:05Speaker 1: show to get people to watch that.
- 8:08Speaker 2: S what's it called again?
- 8:10Speaker 1: No tomorrow? No tomorrow? Right? Okay, all right, I'll look
- 8:14Speaker 1: for it.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I will look for it. I'm kind of embarrassed at
- 8:17Speaker 2: our first Both of our first impressions are about him.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It is who we are, I think. So let's talk
- 8:25Speaker 1: about what we liked.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I have a handful of likes I like this movie.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Don't don't get me wrong. I actually did enjoy this movie.
- 8:34Speaker 2: My my biggest like though, was the Parisian setting, because
- 8:39Speaker 2: you know, I love sharifs and I love that they
- 8:42Speaker 2: actually have like on location shots especially I'm gonna totally
- 8:48Speaker 2: buter it, momart, momart.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's like this area of Paris that they went to,
- 8:55Speaker 1: and as soon as they were on the steps of it,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was like, I know that place anyway, and then
- 8:59Speaker 1: it led me to google, like was this actually shot
- 9:01Speaker 1: on location?
- 9:02Speaker 2: And it was so Yeah, I liked I like that
- 9:05Speaker 2: part of it. Did you like any of the Paris stuff? Yeah?
- 9:09Speaker 1: I thought those settings were really gorgeous, down to that
- 9:11Speaker 1: villa that they used, and that of course could have
- 9:14Speaker 1: been in Bulgaria, could have been Paris alike. But it
- 9:16Speaker 1: just I was like, I willn't get married at that.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you get maried of the villa instead of
- 9:20Speaker 1: a stuffy hotel ballroom Anyway.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I couldn't understand that when they're like, this is where
- 9:25Speaker 2: we're having the reception, I was like, in this ballroom
- 9:27Speaker 2: in Paris, like it.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Will be at home, Like there's nothing special about that location. Yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 1: other than that it's our Paris, right, So this movie
- 9:39Speaker 1: was pure romance, and I typically prefer a little more
- 9:42Speaker 1: calm in my rom However, there's no denying that this
- 9:47Speaker 1: really kind of is as sweet and romantic as they come.
- 9:50Speaker 1: The Parisian setting really lends itself to that. Malory Jansen's
- 9:54Speaker 1: wardrobe I think is real romantic in its vibe, sweet dresses,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and even her hairstyling to me like it's soft and
- 10:05Speaker 1: it's curled, and there's like little face framing tundral everything
- 10:07Speaker 1: about it. I just feel like this movie is pure romance.
- 10:11Speaker 1: It was part of the Summer Nights programming in June
- 10:14Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, and Summer Nights is typically like wedding romance.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I think it's very on theme. Oh for sure. For sure,
- 10:22Speaker 1: it's funny. You mentioned Malory Jansen's wardrobe. I have a
- 10:26Speaker 1: note about it as well in my likes as well
- 10:29Speaker 1: as my Digiti dads. But I did think she has
- 10:32Speaker 1: some pretty chic outfits. I was into it. I was
- 10:34Speaker 1: into it.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Speaking of being into I really enjoyed Malory Jansen. I
- 10:39Speaker 2: thought her performance in this movie was really nice. She
- 10:43Speaker 2: is becoming one of my favorite leads to watch and
- 10:46Speaker 2: She's not in a ton of Hallmark movies, so I
- 10:50Speaker 2: think it makes it even more exciting when she is
- 10:53Speaker 2: cast in something.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I would consider her Oh actually, I would not consider
- 11:03Speaker 2: her a comedian. But she did have like some funny
- 11:07Speaker 2: moments in this movie. I thought, mm hmm, my favorite
- 11:11Speaker 2: stuff is like when she was with her friends, Like
- 11:13Speaker 2: all of that kind of dialogue was felt very natural,
- 11:17Speaker 2: like very natural dialogue friends would have with each other,
- 11:21Speaker 2: Like yeah, you know, they were like poking fun at
- 11:23Speaker 2: each other and giving each other a hard time or hoot,
- 11:25Speaker 2: excuse me, I'm sorry, it's okay. I thought it was
- 11:28Speaker 2: very relatable and enjoyable.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Well, speaking of the friends, leave it to Joa vat
- 11:32Speaker 1: Can because I love the friendships that are depicted in
- 11:35Speaker 1: this movie. I think they're the standout relationship in this movie. Relationships.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I think they're all going through something in their personal relationships,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and they're all normal and relatable. You've got Victoria who's
- 11:48Speaker 1: dealing with the end of her relationship. It's free. It's
- 11:52Speaker 1: presented as she misses him, but I think it's more
- 11:54Speaker 1: that she's just trying to like figure out life without him,
- 11:58Speaker 1: because they were together for so long, and she had
- 12:00Speaker 1: all these ideas about what her future look like. You know,
- 12:02Speaker 1: he's absolutely not the right guy for her. Tracy is
- 12:04Speaker 1: wondering if she can trust herself the one time in
- 12:07Speaker 1: her life she's actually being decisive about something. And then
- 12:10Speaker 1: you have Natalie who's like dealing with the transition to
- 12:13Speaker 1: becoming a mom, but she's got this husband who's like
- 12:15Speaker 1: transitioned so far into superdad mode and has completely forgotten
- 12:18Speaker 1: how to be her husband. And I really liked the
- 12:21Speaker 1: way that they all supported each other. And there's a
- 12:27Speaker 1: scene when they're at the villa where it all kind
- 12:29Speaker 1: of comes together, and Natalie's tears of frustration when she's
- 12:33Speaker 1: talking about what's going on with her and Seth felt
- 12:36Speaker 1: so real. It's the best acting in the entire movie. Hmmm,
- 12:40Speaker 1: look at you. Can I ask you a question? Yeah?
- 12:44Speaker 1: I mean, you've seen a lot more Hallmark movies than
- 12:46Speaker 1: I have. Is are there are there other pen pal
- 12:51Speaker 1: to lovers movies? I I don't know. That's a question
- 12:58Speaker 1: for the listeners. Girls gone Hallmark at gmail dot. You know,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I had the memory of a goldfish. Even though I'd
- 13:01Speaker 1: seen them all, I wouldn't remember. Yeah, well, I.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Kind of liked this story, the storyline of like reconnecting
- 13:08Speaker 2: pin pals and falling in love as adults. Like they
- 13:12Speaker 2: I mean, think about like writing letters.
- 13:16Speaker 1: To somebody, especially at like a tender teenage hit, right,
- 13:21Speaker 1: Like you might be vulnerable in those kind of letters,
- 13:24Speaker 1: especially with someone who like you're like, I'm never going
- 13:26Speaker 1: to see this person, right. Yeah, So I kind of
- 13:28Speaker 1: love that they maybe got to share who their their
- 13:31Speaker 1: authentic selves were. And then you really have like a
- 13:34Speaker 1: boy that you wrote letters to that like didn't go
- 13:36Speaker 1: to your school your high school years? Now, no, you
- 13:40Speaker 1: really where was this something I met in the summer?
- 13:44Speaker 1: Oh oh oh I did. Actually it wasn't like a
- 13:48Speaker 1: pin pal situation though, But I spent a summer in
- 13:51Speaker 1: Indiana and met some few people there, and I think
- 13:56Speaker 1: I did write some letters, but not anything like, you know,
- 14:00Speaker 1: not romantic letters. Yeah, I'm not sure that these were.
- 14:04Speaker 1: There was maybe like a flirty vibe to them, but
- 14:06Speaker 1: they weren't. They were not love letters for sure. Now,
- 14:08Speaker 1: were they sprayed with perfume and sealed with the kiss?
- 14:12Speaker 1: They were not. Yeah. The thing about that is like
- 14:16Speaker 1: they're going to their parents' home. Yeah, it's real embarrassing
- 14:19Speaker 1: now that I think totally, our kids have phones. They
- 14:23Speaker 1: can send that shit and delete it totally. That's so
- 14:26Speaker 1: funny anyway.
- 14:27Speaker 2: But I did like this kind of pinpal storyline, and
- 14:31Speaker 2: I like Joshua sass like fine as hell. Like as
- 14:35Speaker 2: soon as he was up, I was like, yeah, that
- 14:37Speaker 2: ex boyfriend.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Nope, nope. The clear answer is oh shock a thousand percent.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And I you know, I'm not a super as mentioned
- 14:49Speaker 1: like romance on its own, I need the comedy to
- 14:53Speaker 1: like make that sort of that would be my preference
- 14:56Speaker 1: right there. It was so sweet when he starts quoting
- 14:59Speaker 1: some back to her yea yea yeah, after her stupid
- 15:03Speaker 1: ex boyfriend had no idea what she was talking about.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I was like, oh, that's real nice he's paying attention. Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 2: No, I like that too.
- 15:10Speaker 1: But I also liked that he could see that the
- 15:12Speaker 1: ex boyfriend was a real dummy and like leaned into
- 15:15Speaker 1: making him feel jealous. Yeah, so I I was super
- 15:19Speaker 1: into that. Uh huh, That's all I got for likes.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Let's talk wishes, Okay, I want to talk Victoria and
- 15:26Speaker 1: Cameron's kiss. Okay. I have a lot of thoughts about it.
- 15:30Speaker 1: One I thought it lasted a really long time for
- 15:32Speaker 1: a kiss that Victoria was obviously conflicted about. Two. I
- 15:37Speaker 1: thought it was kind of gross to sneak attack kiss
- 15:40Speaker 1: your ex girlfriend who clearly has something new brewing. You
- 15:46Speaker 1: were on this trip with somebody else, You two are
- 15:50Speaker 1: not together. It feels like a violation. It was not
- 15:55Speaker 1: a welcome kiss that I did not appreciate, and I
- 15:58Speaker 1: really wanted Victory to immediately stop it, for her to
- 16:01Speaker 1: like put her hand on his chest and push him away.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Just goes on for so long. And I know that
- 16:06Speaker 1: it needs to go on for so long because we
- 16:08Speaker 1: need Jock to catch them and get the wrong idea
- 16:10Speaker 1: about the whole situation. But I didn't like it. That's
- 16:13Speaker 1: so funny. It didn't really bother me that much. But
- 16:16Speaker 1: other than only wants you back because the hot French
- 16:18Speaker 1: dude is there, Yeah, no, one hundred percent, because he
- 16:21Speaker 1: was feeling jealous, but also like, yeah, it's super gross that, like, oh,
- 16:26Speaker 1: now you're.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Feeling like you have to win this chick back and
- 16:30Speaker 2: you're gonna sneak attack her.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah I don't. Yeah, Well, and you're not entitled to
- 16:34Speaker 1: kiss me just because you want to. We are not
- 16:36Speaker 1: in a relationship anymore. You need to go back to
- 16:39Speaker 1: step zero. Now have to start quoting Sabrina to win
- 16:44Speaker 1: right over. Yes, yes, yeah, I mean he has to
- 16:47Speaker 1: do the work for sure. The scent has been rescinded,
- 16:50Speaker 1: my good sir. Yes, yes, yes. I found this movie
- 16:54Speaker 1: a little bit slow.
- 16:55Speaker 2: In some spots. It didn't make me tune out, which
- 16:59Speaker 2: sometimes they do. It didn't make me tune out, but
- 17:01Speaker 2: the whole like revamping of Tracy's wedding, like that kind
- 17:07Speaker 2: of storyline kept me interested. You know, it's like a
- 17:10Speaker 2: party planning scene.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I like it.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I like that.
- 17:14Speaker 1: A one hundred percent is in my notes that I
- 17:16Speaker 1: thought this movie was romantic and pretty, but also a
- 17:19Speaker 1: little slow. I was a little frustrated with Tracy for
- 17:23Speaker 1: her inability to stand up for herself. Oh my god. Yes,
- 17:28Speaker 1: even even her groom seems resigned. When he's like, well,
- 17:34Speaker 1: I got dressed just in case you decided to go
- 17:36Speaker 1: through with it. I was like, come on, like, own
- 17:39Speaker 1: your own life, please, I am begging you.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Well, so that's funny. Like, I was frustrated with her
- 17:45Speaker 2: as well, but I also felt bad for her because
- 17:48Speaker 2: she was like clearly in crisis mode over this wedding,
- 17:52Speaker 2: and Victoria, who is her best friend and wedding planner,
- 17:56Speaker 2: was totally blind to it. Yeah, and I'm like, that's
- 18:00Speaker 2: not a very observant friend or wedding planner in these
- 18:04Speaker 2: moments where she's like Tracy's ina story was planning her vision.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Of the perfect wedding, not Racy's vision exactly.
- 18:12Speaker 2: But like that's what I maybe that's why she was
- 18:14Speaker 2: blind to it, Like she wasn't seeing that Tracy was struggling.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Yes, but I felt like Tracy was not doing I mean,
- 18:24Speaker 1: Tracy was just so unsure of herself. She couldn't just
- 18:26Speaker 1: be like, hey, this isn't the wedding I want.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah, like how do you get to Paris and be
- 18:33Speaker 2: like they were just this is not the wedding I want,
- 18:36Speaker 2: just not connecting.
- 18:37Speaker 1: She just felt like she wasn't good at making decisions,
- 18:39Speaker 1: so she was going to let other people make decisions
- 18:41Speaker 1: for her, but the decisions that they were making for
- 18:43Speaker 1: her were not in line with what she wanted. Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: it's super frustrating. Any other wishes, Yeah, that's it. I'll
- 18:50Speaker 1: stalk Tod just see that.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I have just one, okay, and it has to do
- 18:55Speaker 2: with Malory Jansen's wardrobe. I had noticed that she was
- 19:00Speaker 2: in like these flat, unsupportive like sandals the entire time.
- 19:04Speaker 2: One time she was in like a white tennis shoe,
- 19:07Speaker 2: but most of the time they were like these like
- 19:08Speaker 2: flat sandals, and it made me think. I was like, one,
- 19:12Speaker 2: are they trying to manage her height? Because I think
- 19:14Speaker 2: she's pretty tall. But I'm like, are they trying to
- 19:16Speaker 2: manage her height with her co star and that's why
- 19:18Speaker 2: they have her n super flat sandals? Or you know,
- 19:21Speaker 2: because it's like summertime in Paris, you would wear cute sandals.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I don't know, but.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I could never be on my feet as much as
- 19:27Speaker 2: she was and these terrible flat sandals because I'm one
- 19:29Speaker 2: hundred years old with a port. Yeah, I just was like,
- 19:35Speaker 2: I can't believe she's walking around in these like Sam
- 19:38Speaker 2: Elderman flat sandals.
- 19:40Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about? Right, my did you
- 19:43Speaker 1: see that? Is when they're setting up at the villa,
- 19:45Speaker 1: it's like two days before the wedding, they comment about
- 19:47Speaker 1: it at one point and they set the table like
- 19:49Speaker 1: Victoria e Ngen have their conversation with each other where
- 19:52Speaker 1: they're both like, yeah, this guy sucks. He's not the
- 19:54Speaker 1: guy for either of us. They're putting plates on the table.
- 19:57Speaker 1: You don't put plates on the table even the day
- 19:59Speaker 1: before the wedding. The plates go on the table immediately
- 20:02Speaker 1: before you eat. They're gonna be covered in dust us
- 20:05Speaker 1: and now that's all. Okay. You set the table too early, people,
- 20:10Speaker 1: too early, especially for an outside wedding. Oh that's funny,
- 20:16Speaker 1: you're right, okay.
- 20:17Speaker 2: W'd you rate this one?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I gave it three point seven to five stars.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Oh I gave it three stars.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Oh oh, it's not a bad rating. I just thought
- 20:27Speaker 1: it was like perfectly fine. Yeah, I agree with that assessment.
