Latest / NO FILTER / Finding A Better Ending For Attack On Titan(MP3_160K)

- 0:16Speaker 1: Attack on Titan was one of my favorite series. Honestly,
- 0:19Speaker 1: I had no issue with the ending. I thought it
- 0:21Speaker 1: kept with the harsh reality that Attack on Titan was
- 0:24Speaker 1: meant to be. It was never meant to have a
- 0:26Speaker 1: happy ending. If you went into this anime expecting a
- 0:29Speaker 1: good chuckle and the warm and fuzzies, then you were
- 0:31Speaker 1: watching the wrong one. This is the reason why I
- 0:34Speaker 1: thought the ending was perfect, a sad ending for a
- 0:38Speaker 1: sad series. I mean, it could have been worse. Anyone
- 0:42Speaker 1: seen the end of Evangelian. Yeah, that's essentially Attack on
- 0:45Speaker 1: Titan's ending, but even sadder somehow, And it was made
- 0:49Speaker 1: worse by the one hundred and twenty minutes of storyboards,
- 0:52Speaker 1: stock images, and constant explanation why Shinji should love himself.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's supposed to be deep, but everyone knew that ending
- 0:58Speaker 1: sucked too bad. So everyone but alas, we're not talking
- 1:02Speaker 1: about Evan Gellian. We're talking about Attack on Titan. So
- 1:06Speaker 1: before I continue, I should offer you a spoiler warning.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I know that the anime is not caught up yet,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and so I assume that if you're watching this you
- 1:14Speaker 1: know what's what. If not, then I'll offer you a
- 1:17Speaker 1: small buffer before I get too spoily about the series.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Welcome to the Amagi. Before we begin be publishing a
- 1:25Speaker 1: new video every day, so be should have subscribed to
- 1:27Speaker 1: our channel and ring the bell to get notified about
- 1:29Speaker 1: our latest videos. The Amagi's reach stretches beyond just this channel,
- 1:33Speaker 1: so if you're a fan of us, please consider subscribing
- 1:35Speaker 1: to our other channels and following us on all of
- 1:37Speaker 1: our social media help us reach our goal of passing
- 1:39Speaker 1: one hundred thousand followers and all of our accounts by
- 1:41Speaker 1: the end of the year. Additionally, we've noticed that some
- 1:44Speaker 1: people seem to be getting automatically unsubscribed from the Amagi,
- 1:48Speaker 1: so if you could double check that you are still
- 1:50Speaker 1: indeed subscribed, it would mean a lot For those who
- 1:52Speaker 1: have been watching since the beginning or at least caught
- 1:55Speaker 1: up after half the story was already told. We know
- 1:57Speaker 1: where everything went bad. The story was going as expected
- 2:01Speaker 1: all the way up to the end of season three.
- 2:03Speaker 1: During the season three finale, were shown the final battle
- 2:06Speaker 1: between the Scouts and the Warrior unit. Zeke Yeager in command,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Reiner and Berthold mustered their strength and fought against the Scouts,
- 2:13Speaker 1: but because of the quick thinking of arman Arlelt, as
- 2:16Speaker 1: well as the medal shared between all Scouts, the willpower
- 2:19Speaker 1: to march straight towards death to accomplish their goals, as
- 2:22Speaker 1: well as the guilt felt by those who survived, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: the ultimate breakdown of command as the battle drew to
- 2:28Speaker 1: a close. Everything about that battle showed us how hard
- 2:31Speaker 1: fought that victory was, and how no matter how sweet,
- 2:33Speaker 1: victory couldn't always cover the bitterness of defeat. And at
- 2:37Speaker 1: that point, even though Reiner, Berthold, and Zeke were all defeated,
- 2:40Speaker 1: we couldn't bear to watch it. No matter who won,
- 2:42Speaker 1: we would be sad because we saw that nobody wanted
- 2:45Speaker 1: to be there and nobody wanted to fight, but duty
- 2:48Speaker 1: forced it to be. In the end, we were all
- 2:51Speaker 1: rewarded for our diligence and loyalty to the series. When
- 2:54Speaker 1: the bombshell was dropped, humanity wasn't wiped out, far from it.
- 2:59Speaker 1: The entire way the world was safe from Titans, and
- 3:01Speaker 1: the people of Paradise were merely on a small island.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Their entire world was opened wide. But for some this
- 3:08Speaker 1: revelation was not the hope filled knowledge they had sought.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It merely told them that there was a new enemy,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and that enemy wasn't Titans, it was other humans. The
- 3:17Speaker 1: Titans were never their enemies. The Titans were their friends
- 3:20Speaker 1: and comrades who had had their humanity robbed from them
- 3:23Speaker 1: by those across the sea. And it was at this
- 3:25Speaker 1: point that Erin began to change for the worse. Aaron
- 3:28Speaker 1: realized that even outside of the walls, he was still confined.
- 3:32Speaker 1: He had merely pushed the boundaries. He hadn't removed them
- 3:34Speaker 1: at all, And so he began to wonder what was
- 3:37Speaker 1: beyond this. If he killed all of their enemies across
- 3:40Speaker 1: the sea, would he then be free? It all began
- 3:43Speaker 1: the moment he kissed the hand of his story Erese.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It was then that he witnessed everything, memories of the future.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Through the mixed power of the attack and founding Titan.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Aaron knew what he would do and what would happen.
- 3:54Speaker 1: He saw everything. This is one of the complaints I
- 3:57Speaker 1: have so commonly witnessed. Why did a do it? Erin himself,
- 4:01Speaker 1: during his short time with armin In the Path, stated
- 4:04Speaker 1: that he had hoped to play the villains, that the
- 4:05Speaker 1: others could stop him and be the new heroes the world.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Needed a new Hellos, and as such, Erin was essentially
- 4:11Speaker 1: playing the new Karl Fritz for Armand's Tiber. But he
- 4:15Speaker 1: then contradicts himself by stating that even if he had
- 4:18Speaker 1: not been stopped, he would have still killed everyone on
- 4:21Speaker 1: earth except for the people of Paradise. I will keep
- 4:24Speaker 1: moving forward. Erin would always keep moving forward no matter what.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But the issue with his desire to destroy all of
- 4:30Speaker 1: humanity is that we witness his conflict in this earlier on,
- 4:33Speaker 1: in which he acts as if he's unable to change
- 4:35Speaker 1: fate and that he doesn't want to do it. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: from here we're shown a theme within the series. All
- 4:41Speaker 1: the characters are a slave to something, and this echoes
- 4:44Speaker 1: in the drunkenness speech of Kennyakerman. All men live their
- 4:48Speaker 1: lives drunk on something, he had said. Well, we're also
- 4:51Speaker 1: shown that all men are slaves to something too. Arman
- 4:54Speaker 1: is a slave to his responsibility, Mikassa is a slave
- 4:58Speaker 1: to love much Awimir had been was a slave to
- 5:00Speaker 1: his depression, and Marley and He was a slave to
- 5:03Speaker 1: her own violence, and Erin himself was a slave to fate.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So what then did Erin have no choice? As he
- 5:10Speaker 1: marched forward, striking Arman and insulting Micassa, alienating his friends,
- 5:14Speaker 1: leading others to their deaths, and trampling the world. Did
- 5:17Speaker 1: Erin ever have the chance to stop? That's something we
- 5:20Speaker 1: simply cannot know. So many theories pervaded this ending in
- 5:24Speaker 1: Erin's true heart of hearts, but one thing is for sure.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He kept moving forward until he was dead, and that
- 5:30Speaker 1: death came at Mikasa's hands. And from that point all
- 5:33Speaker 1: men were free until they found that they could not
- 5:36Speaker 1: handle their freedom and put their shackles back on, their
- 5:39Speaker 1: shackles of hatred. And ironically, it was arin Enzik's formation
- 5:43Speaker 1: of the Yegorists that put these shackles back on, and
- 5:46Speaker 1: in the end, the curse of the Founding Titan would
- 5:48Speaker 1: be reborn. But I just can't help but wonder if
- 5:51Speaker 1: there could have been another ending hidden somewhere, a possible
- 5:54Speaker 1: path that could have been followed that would have possibly
- 5:57Speaker 1: led to a better explained, or at least mild more
- 6:00Speaker 1: happy of an ending. So this is what I want
- 6:02Speaker 1: to look at now. So let me explain something I
- 6:05Speaker 1: saw from reading the story and began to wonder myself.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I first want to start with a personal theory of mine,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and from there, I believe we can build a new
- 6:12Speaker 1: story of it by looking through a very particular looking glass,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and to get to the beginning, we must ironically start
- 6:18Speaker 1: at the end. Aaron's motivations and mentality, as well as
- 6:21Speaker 1: the relation to this, can only be explained if we
- 6:23Speaker 1: look back from a specific point in time. The founding
- 6:26Speaker 1: Titan is a creature of incredible power. The Attack Titan
- 6:29Speaker 1: is also incredible. But it's my belief that the Attack
- 6:32Speaker 1: Titan was created to be incredible, not by accident, but
- 6:35Speaker 1: by design, and I believe that design surpasses causality. For
- 6:39Speaker 1: those who have seen One punch Man's recent arc involving
- 6:41Speaker 1: Ghero as well as Sitama his feet to travel time
- 6:44Speaker 1: and land a punch that was never thrown, you'll understand
- 6:46Speaker 1: my idea. The Attack Titan's ability was orchestrated from the future,
- 6:50Speaker 1: not the past. Yes, the Attack Titan's ability was born
- 6:53Speaker 1: at the death of Amrror and the consumption of her
- 6:55Speaker 1: flesh by her daughters ew but I believe, like so
- 6:59Speaker 1: many others in the series, this was designed from the future.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It is revealed that the Smiling Titan, Kadisha's first wife
- 7:06Speaker 1: that ate Karla Jaeger, Kodisha's second wife, just dealing with
- 7:09Speaker 1: the Homebreaker. Yeah, was actually by Aaron's design. The Smiling
- 7:13Speaker 1: Titan was originally meant to eat Berthold, but Aaron manipulated
- 7:16Speaker 1: the Titan through the paths which exist outside of space
- 7:19Speaker 1: time to cause the Titan to target someone else. Essentially,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Aerin's mission was started solely by Erin. The revenge he
- 7:26Speaker 1: sought was to be on himself during the future. Imagine
- 7:30Speaker 1: if you were a time traveler who had created a
- 7:32Speaker 1: time machine from blueprints you found one day, and then
- 7:34Speaker 1: you used said machine to go back in time and
- 7:37Speaker 1: plant the blueprints you found in a place where your
- 7:39Speaker 1: past self could find them. That is what it is.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Erin has set himself on this inescapable path because of
- 7:46Speaker 1: how he's screwed with causality. But here is the issue.
- 7:49Speaker 1: If Erin is solely responsible for these things, then does
- 7:53Speaker 1: this mean that he could have at any time decided
- 7:55Speaker 1: that it would not happen. Why does he feel so trapped?
- 7:58Speaker 1: It's because he is. Urin isn't the only person who
- 8:01Speaker 1: possesses this power. Erin's usage of the Founding Titan isn't
- 8:04Speaker 1: only himself. The Founding Titan is also controlled by one
- 8:07Speaker 1: other being, Ymir Fritz. Yimir Fritz is herself a slave,
- 8:11Speaker 1: and during the entire time she was a slave, she
- 8:14Speaker 1: waited for someone to save her. That person ends up
- 8:17Speaker 1: being Erin, who teaches her how to be free. And
- 8:19Speaker 1: from here on, it's insinuated that the entire battle that
- 8:22Speaker 1: takes place on Erin's back is solely orchestrated by Amir.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Aaron states that he didn't do a thing, He just
- 8:27Speaker 1: kept moving forward. If Erin didn't do it, then who did.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Amir is the only other person in this battle capable
- 8:33Speaker 1: of controlling the Founding Titan. So moving back, we would
- 8:36Speaker 1: realize that while future Erin manipulated past Erin, we should
- 8:39Speaker 1: also assume that Yamir Fritz manipulated future Erin. To do so,
- 8:43Speaker 1: she created Erin. She needed someone with a heart burning
- 8:46Speaker 1: for freedom, and so she used future Erin to create
- 8:49Speaker 1: past Erin to set him down a path that would
- 8:51Speaker 1: inevitably lead to her being free. Have I lost yet?
- 8:54Speaker 1: If I'll be honest, I lost myself for a second there.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But the TLDR version of events is that Amir is
- 9:00Speaker 1: freed and because the paths exist in neither the past
- 9:03Speaker 1: nor future. Emir can freely manipulate the past and future.
- 9:07Speaker 1: She uses the person who saved her from her slavery
- 9:09Speaker 1: to create the person who would save her from slavery,
- 9:12Speaker 1: and she manipulates him to her own ends. The hatred
- 9:15Speaker 1: Aaron has was planted by himself, who was manipulated by
- 9:18Speaker 1: Emir to put it there. So in this way, Erin
- 9:20Speaker 1: is in control of himself. Yet he is also a
- 9:23Speaker 1: slave to fate, and this is further insinuated that he
- 9:26Speaker 1: was slowly being manipulated by Amir in a subtle way.
- 9:29Speaker 1: There is one scene that's shown in the manga that
- 9:31Speaker 1: occurs during the plane ride heading towards Erin. All of
- 9:34Speaker 1: the Scouts and Warrior Unit declare their desire to save Erin,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and the moment they say so, Erin immediately interrupts their
- 9:40Speaker 1: conversation through the paths and declares that he won't let
- 9:43Speaker 1: them save him. They must either kill him or give up. However,
- 9:46Speaker 1: they notice one thing. Erin is no longer an adult.
- 9:49Speaker 1: He has taken his child form, just as Emir had,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and furthermore, his eyes possess these same dark lines that
- 9:54Speaker 1: Amir has. This confuses everyone, including the reader. At that moment,
- 9:59Speaker 1: Erin's age becomes a jumbled mess as he's suddenly standing
- 10:02Speaker 1: atop the Founder's head. He isn't seeing the destruction. He's
- 10:05Speaker 1: merely seeing the sky and feeling the wind free like
- 10:08Speaker 1: a bird. Now I'm about to get even weirder. Remember
- 10:11Speaker 1: when I said Amre created Erin. A deeper part of
- 10:14Speaker 1: my theory takes that literally. We know one thing, and
- 10:17Speaker 1: that is that the founding Titan can revive dead Titan shifters.
- 10:21Speaker 1: In the final battle, we see the return of Bertholdt
- 10:23Speaker 1: as well as Grisha Krueger and Mystic Sarver. With the
- 10:26Speaker 1: help of Armin, they break their hold on the Founder
- 10:28Speaker 1: and return to life to aid their former allies in battle.
- 10:31Speaker 1: They use the power of the Founder to come back
- 10:33Speaker 1: to life. The Founder has power over life or death.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'll go out in a limb here and even say
- 10:38Speaker 1: that it is my belief that Erin himself is the
- 10:40Speaker 1: reincarnation of Amre Fritz, born herself out of her desire
- 10:44Speaker 1: to be free. And this isn't as crazy as it seems.
- 10:47Speaker 1: We've already shown that a Titan shifter lives on within
- 10:49Speaker 1: their titan and these shifters can give over memories and
- 10:52Speaker 1: even personality traits to their successors. This explains why Armand
- 10:56Speaker 1: developed a sudden devotion and love for Annie Leyonheart was
- 11:00Speaker 1: the one in love and Arman merely took this in.
- 11:03Speaker 1: But on a deeper level, knowing how the Founder and
- 11:05Speaker 1: Attack Titan can deal with space, time and causality, I
- 11:07Speaker 1: posit that Erin himself is the literal reincarnation of Emir
- 11:11Speaker 1: Fritz and this isn't so crazy. We're also shown at
- 11:15Speaker 1: the end of the series a bird who wraps the
- 11:17Speaker 1: scarf around Mi Kasa's neck, fulfilling the promise Erin made
- 11:20Speaker 1: to always wrap it around her neck. So apparently Erin
- 11:23Speaker 1: reincarnated as a bird now, and that further could explain
- 11:26Speaker 1: why people decided that these Scouts would have the wings
- 11:29Speaker 1: of freedom. Aaron designed the bird to be the ultimate
- 11:32Speaker 1: symbol of freedom for them. So with all of this
- 11:34Speaker 1: in mind, what will we think? Is there a better
- 11:37Speaker 1: ending hidden somewhere else in this story? Is it possible
- 11:40Speaker 1: for us to find a better ending? There possibly could be.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You see, even though Erin is manipulated by Amir up
- 11:46Speaker 1: to this point, he's still in control of himself. I mean,
- 11:49Speaker 1: if it's true that Erin is the reincarnation of Emir
- 11:51Speaker 1: through the power of the founding Titan, then he still
- 11:54Speaker 1: possesses free will. So let's roll this back a little
- 11:57Speaker 1: bit and begin our new ending. Eron Jaeger finds himself
- 12:00Speaker 1: escaping the hands of Rhiner by hardening his titan's body.
- 12:03Speaker 1: He manages to get out and finds himself running across
- 12:06Speaker 1: the streets of Shaganshina. This was the town where it
- 12:08Speaker 1: all started, and poetically, this was where it would all end.
- 12:11Speaker 1: The yarn of fate had been sown, and Aaron knew
- 12:14Speaker 1: that they had been sown by himself. To this moment,
- 12:17Speaker 1: he kept moving towards the carcass of the Beast Titan,
- 12:19Speaker 1: where his brother called out to him, his hand held out,
- 12:22Speaker 1: Aaron kept moving forward. Don't stop now, just keep moving forward. Fight. Fight.
- 12:28Speaker 1: As he comes to the end of the street, his
- 12:30Speaker 1: eyes dart to the right and he notices the lens
- 12:32Speaker 1: flare of a massive sniper rifle. A rifle bearing anti
- 12:35Speaker 1: Titan rounds in them. Before he can do anything, it's
- 12:38Speaker 1: too late. The bullet leaves the chamber with a thunderous crack,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and for a moment, all time seems to have stopped.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Aaron's neck is pierced by the round, and it feels
- 12:46Speaker 1: as if his life has just come to an end.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Perhaps it did. Perhaps Aaron at this moment has died.
- 12:52Speaker 1: His head goes flying as his brother screams out and
- 12:55Speaker 1: uses those baseball skills mister Casarver taught him to catch
- 12:58Speaker 1: his brother's head in the world's most morbid game of catch.
- 13:01Speaker 1: But in that moment, the power of the Founder has
- 13:04Speaker 1: been activated within the paths, Aaron meets with Zeke and
- 13:07Speaker 1: realizes Zeke is within chains. He states, it feels like
- 13:10Speaker 1: ages since the moment Aaron's head had detached, yet no
- 13:13Speaker 1: time had passed. Does time even exist in this world?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Perhaps not. It's at this moment that Zeke stands, having
- 13:20Speaker 1: broken his chains. Due to Zeke not being the Founder
- 13:23Speaker 1: yet possessing royal blood, he manages to break the chains
- 13:26Speaker 1: that Carl Fritz had placed on the Founder, and perhaps
- 13:29Speaker 1: this was the first step towards Ymir's freedom. It's then
- 13:32Speaker 1: that Aaron turns and witnesses her walking towards them with
- 13:35Speaker 1: a pail full of water. It was as if she
- 13:37Speaker 1: were still in her home village, living life as best
- 13:39Speaker 1: she knew. How Yet she remained a slave of the
- 13:42Speaker 1: king even in death. For a time, his brother takes
- 13:45Speaker 1: Erin back through time and shows him his life up
- 13:47Speaker 1: to this point to prove that he had always been brainwashed,
- 13:50Speaker 1: a pawn of Gricias. Zeke at this point was only
- 13:53Speaker 1: half right. Erin had always been brainwashed and a pawn
- 13:57Speaker 1: of someone else, but it wasn't who he thought. It
- 14:00Speaker 1: was himself and the siren call of the Founder Emir.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Here it becomes apparent to Zeke that the Founder and
- 14:05Speaker 1: the attack Titans share a strange connection. Gharisha can see them,
- 14:09Speaker 1: he can speak with them. Zeke is surprised when he
- 14:12Speaker 1: finds Grisha unwilling to enter the chapel and kill the
- 14:15Speaker 1: Ree's family. He takes so much time, years even to
- 14:18Speaker 1: muster the courage, and it's only after Shaganhin is invaded
- 14:21Speaker 1: by Titans that Grisha makes his decision, but his nerves
- 14:24Speaker 1: aren't there. He goes in to kill the Rie's family,
- 14:26Speaker 1: but he can't do it. This is when Erin interferes
- 14:29Speaker 1: with his own timeline, essentially orchestrating the events that led
- 14:32Speaker 1: to his current being. Zeke is in awe as Erin
- 14:35Speaker 1: kneels over. Isn't this what you came to do? Gharisha
- 14:38Speaker 1: kills the Rhe's family, and then Garisha cries out, Erin,
- 14:42Speaker 1: is this what you wanted? It's then that Zeke gets
- 14:44Speaker 1: an ominous warning from his father that things would no
- 14:47Speaker 1: longer go the way he wants, and that he has
- 14:49Speaker 1: no idea what Erin is up to, but he needs
- 14:51Speaker 1: to stop him. Suddenly they're back, but this time it's
- 14:54Speaker 1: Erin who's in chains and Zeke planning to make his
- 14:56Speaker 1: ideals a reality. Zeke would not yet know that his
- 14:59Speaker 1: fate is already decided. Aaron breaks free of his chains,
- 15:02Speaker 1: pulling so hard that he rips his thumbs off. Rushing
- 15:04Speaker 1: to a mirr, he would tell her that she had
- 15:06Speaker 1: been waiting for him, hadn't she She guided him there
- 15:09Speaker 1: to free her, and now she was freed, gritting her teeth,
- 15:12Speaker 1: tears in her eyes. Right now, for the first time
- 15:14Speaker 1: in over two thousand years, she was free, and the
- 15:17Speaker 1: first thing she wanted from that freedom to destroy Those
- 15:20Speaker 1: who had so long used her as a slave, kicked her,
- 15:23Speaker 1: called her a devil. She had loved King Fritz, but
- 15:26Speaker 1: she had regretted not having the power to kill him
- 15:28Speaker 1: when she could. This is actually true. This is why
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yamir was so pleased when Mikasa killed Erin. Mikasa and
- 15:34Speaker 1: Erin was seen by Yamir as a mirror to herself
- 15:36Speaker 1: and King Fritz. She was only pleased when Mikasa killed Erin,
- 15:40Speaker 1: and all those two thousand years of hatred had created
- 15:43Speaker 1: the very thing the people insulted her as. Right now,
- 15:46Speaker 1: she was a devil, and she was going to make
- 15:48Speaker 1: sure to validate every single one of the people who
- 15:50Speaker 1: had called her that, before grinding their bones to ash
- 15:53Speaker 1: below her feet. It was then that the strange centipede
- 15:56Speaker 1: that had formed the nexus of Titan power pulled itself
- 15:58Speaker 1: from Erin's body, just grip his head. From there, the
- 16:01Speaker 1: founding Titan's body was formed, a sick recreation of the
- 16:05Speaker 1: status with which Erin's body now was. If Erin's current
- 16:08Speaker 1: body was nothing more than a head attached to a
- 16:11Speaker 1: spine with the shining centipede making its home within, then
- 16:14Speaker 1: his founding Titan form should be the same. With a
- 16:17Speaker 1: single roar, all titan hardening was commanded to fall. This
- 16:20Speaker 1: brought down the walls as Rhiner's very armours seemed to
- 16:22Speaker 1: explode from his body. Erin begins to march, Consumed in
- 16:26Speaker 1: a whirlwind of hatred. What was left of his humanity
- 16:29Speaker 1: began to dim and flicker like a candle's flame under
- 16:31Speaker 1: a heavy gust of wind. A Mer and Erin begin
- 16:34Speaker 1: to feel the same. They begin to connect through mutual
- 16:37Speaker 1: madness and bond as if they were the same person.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Perhaps they would become the same person. Perhaps they were,
- 16:43Speaker 1: perhaps they always had been together. They begin to march,
- 16:47Speaker 1: their massive form, dwarfing even the army of Colossus Titans
- 16:51Speaker 1: that began to emerge from the walls. The walls had
- 16:53Speaker 1: once been the subject of Amir's shield against their enemies.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Now it was their sword, a massive, flaming, instant trument
- 17:00Speaker 1: with which they could eradicate all people. Marching forward, Emir's
- 17:04Speaker 1: hatred of those who had enslaved her, her fear of
- 17:06Speaker 1: once more losing her freedom, and Erin's echo of her
- 17:09Speaker 1: sentiments drove it forward. Where Once Emir had been used
- 17:12Speaker 1: as a tool by King Fritz, now his descendant Zeke
- 17:15Speaker 1: Jeger would be her instrument, a battery with which her avatar,
- 17:19Speaker 1: Erin Yeager, could use her power as they march. They
- 17:22Speaker 1: passed through the sea, leaving a steaming cloud on the
- 17:24Speaker 1: horizon that can be seen from all directions. They would
- 17:27Speaker 1: burn away this world and cleanse it. If the enemy
- 17:30Speaker 1: would steal their freedom, then they would steal their enemies
- 17:33Speaker 1: lives before they had a shot to take Erin and
- 17:35Speaker 1: Emir's freedom or the freedom of their kin. On the horizon,
- 17:38Speaker 1: there stood a fleet of battleships in what was left
- 17:40Speaker 1: of Marley's Port. After Arman shattered it with his own Titan,
- 17:44Speaker 1: they began to open fire. To their credit, they managed
- 17:47Speaker 1: to shred many of the Titans, but the end was inevitable.
- 17:50Speaker 1: There was power in numbers, and Erin right now was
- 17:53Speaker 1: in possession of the largest and most numerous army in
- 17:56Speaker 1: the world. He would offer no mercy. The Titans would
- 17:59Speaker 1: swim through their sad steam, evaporating anything above the sea,
- 18:02Speaker 1: be it human or vessel. Making his way to land.
- 18:04Speaker 1: He would make good on the thought he had awakened
- 18:06Speaker 1: the moment he kissed his Storia's hand. If he killed
- 18:09Speaker 1: everyone across the sea, he would be free. He wondered
- 18:13Speaker 1: where that thought came from. Was it his future self
- 18:15Speaker 1: telling him to fight just as he had told grisha,
- 18:18Speaker 1: or perhaps something more. Seeing the bodies of men, women
- 18:21Speaker 1: and children in the footprints where his titans walked, Erin
- 18:24Speaker 1: seemed to suddenly remember his time in Marlee before he
- 18:26Speaker 1: had made his decision. He remembered saving the boy. He
- 18:30Speaker 1: remembered the good times with his friends in the refugee camps.
- 18:33Speaker 1: He recalled when Mikasa almost confessed her love. She couldn't
- 18:36Speaker 1: say it, but it had been so obvious that even
- 18:38Speaker 1: someone like Aaron could notice it. Tatake, he would hear
- 18:41Speaker 1: in his head a phantom voice, the same word he
- 18:44Speaker 1: had heard when he had made contact with his Storia's hand.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Tatake had said, fight. He responded in his own voice. Fight.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Every time he had a doubt in his head about
- 18:53Speaker 1: what he was doing, or an ache in his heart
- 18:55Speaker 1: for what he would do, he would hear those words
- 18:58Speaker 1: in his head. It felt like the ashe ssurance of
- 19:00Speaker 1: a mother to a child, as if someone were telling
- 19:02Speaker 1: him that it was okay or justified. But the longer
- 19:06Speaker 1: he thought on this, the more it began to dull.
- 19:08Speaker 1: The will to fight was being overpowered by his bleeding conscience. Tatake,
- 19:13Speaker 1: the voice shouted in his head, seemingly becoming more and
- 19:15Speaker 1: more agitated. Tatak Aarin would growl, fight, fight, and then
- 19:20Speaker 1: suddenly there he was in the clouds, as if he
- 19:23Speaker 1: had been shown exactly what he was fighting for freedom,
- 19:27Speaker 1: His mind began to become clouded under the illusion of freedom.
- 19:30Speaker 1: He was in the clouds, but he had no idea
- 19:32Speaker 1: that he had no choice in the matter. The cage
- 19:35Speaker 1: he lived in wasn't the walls, and it wasn't the
- 19:37Speaker 1: people across the sea. The cage he was in had
- 19:40Speaker 1: long been inside of him. He was right now, just
- 19:42Speaker 1: as much a slave to Amir as Emir had been
- 19:44Speaker 1: to King Fritz, mindlessly doing Zeke's bidding, despite being perhaps
- 19:48Speaker 1: the strongest human in the world. He continued to march
- 19:51Speaker 1: in the distance. He heard voices, though they spoke to him,
- 19:55Speaker 1: voices of his past friends, family, allies, enemies. They would
- 19:59Speaker 1: say him, they spoke, and he felt in his heart
- 20:02Speaker 1: that there were no more lines in the sand. If Reiner,
- 20:04Speaker 1: who had himself been a slave to Marley, and Mikassa,
- 20:07Speaker 1: who had been a slave to Erin, had gotten together
- 20:09Speaker 1: despite their hatred to save Erin and the world, what
- 20:12Speaker 1: did that mean was the cage he thought existed across
- 20:16Speaker 1: the sea crumbling. The voice of a mere spoke, don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: trust them, never trust them. I trusted in love once
- 20:23Speaker 1: it brought me to chains. They will chain you, enslave you.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You must move forward, no matter what. Let me deal
- 20:29Speaker 1: with it, Keep moving forward. Erin would then break into
- 20:32Speaker 1: their conversation, and for the first time since the beginning
- 20:34Speaker 1: of the rumbling, they saw Erin. He wasn't the same
- 20:37Speaker 1: Erin as before, though he had reverted to a child,
- 20:39Speaker 1: his mind frayed, and his visage terrifyingly similar to the
- 20:43Speaker 1: one who had borne the Titans. He proclaimed that they
- 20:46Speaker 1: could never save him. They must either choose to fight
- 20:49Speaker 1: him and kill him, fight him and die, or stay
- 20:51Speaker 1: out of his way, and so they decide to fight him.
- 20:54Speaker 1: He keeps moving until he finds the last bastion of
- 20:57Speaker 1: humanity's defense and fighting power, their last of hope. They
- 21:01Speaker 1: launch war Zeppelins, but Yamir forms Warhammer Titans on the
- 21:04Speaker 1: back of Erin and begins to shoot them down. It's
- 21:07Speaker 1: then that a seaplane flies over and Aaron's friends fall
- 21:10Speaker 1: down to his back. They plan to get to Erin's neck.
- 21:13Speaker 1: They know that with the Warhammer he could be anywhere
- 21:16Speaker 1: but they need to take the neck out to stop
- 21:18Speaker 1: this thing from moving. They also know that when the
- 21:20Speaker 1: thing comes out of his neck to Reattach the head,
- 21:23Speaker 1: they'll need to deal with it. Armand's plan is to
- 21:25Speaker 1: transform into a titan and take the neck out, but
- 21:27Speaker 1: this plan is quickly ash in the wind when a
- 21:29Speaker 1: beast titan from the past eats Arman up. The team
- 21:33Speaker 1: fight against these titans, but they're quickly being overwhelmed. And
- 21:36Speaker 1: what's worse, Bertholdt has spawned on Erin's back and is
- 21:39Speaker 1: defending him within the paths. Though Arman wakes up. How
- 21:42Speaker 1: did he get here? Was it merely because he was
- 21:44Speaker 1: devoured by a titan? Was he dead? Perhaps someone brought
- 21:48Speaker 1: him here? Perhaps he was called out to Here. He
- 21:51Speaker 1: finds Zeke Jeger and speaks with him and convinces him
- 21:54Speaker 1: to do what's right. Further still, he would meet Grisha,
- 21:56Speaker 1: Krueger and Bertholtz and convince them to help. But Arman
- 21:59Speaker 1: isn't done. He refuses to stop. He rushes deeper into
- 22:03Speaker 1: the paths, where he would find Erin with Emir. He
- 22:05Speaker 1: would call out to Erin and tell him to wake up.
- 22:07Speaker 1: He would beg him to let him save him, but
- 22:09Speaker 1: Erin would say that if he did, he would be
- 22:11Speaker 1: confined to shackles his whole life. But Arman insists that
- 22:14Speaker 1: Erin is in shackles right now, and suddenly things quickly
- 22:18Speaker 1: click with Erin. He looks back at everything he knows,
- 22:21Speaker 1: the life he had and what he wanted. He realizes
- 22:23Speaker 1: that he had lost it all, but then realized he
- 22:25Speaker 1: lost it all because he forced it to happen. But
- 22:28Speaker 1: then again, who forced him was it Emir? Amir would
- 22:32Speaker 1: look at Erin tatake. Erin would parrot the words fight.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Arman would then beg him to come back to be
- 22:39Speaker 1: the same Erin he and Mikasa had played with around
- 22:41Speaker 1: their favorite tree. He remembered saying that maybe he was
- 22:44Speaker 1: alive for the sole purpose of being in the moment,
- 22:47Speaker 1: and he told Erin that he begged him to be
- 22:50Speaker 1: that old Erin. But Erin would tell Arman that the
- 22:52Speaker 1: old Erin is dead. Armand would scream out to him,
- 22:55Speaker 1: you brought back Berthold, Grisha, Krueger, and kasarver he should
- 22:59Speaker 1: bring his old self back, and from there Armand feels
- 23:02Speaker 1: himself pulled back from the paths. However, these words echo
- 23:05Speaker 1: within Erin, He's caught between his hatred and his love,
- 23:08Speaker 1: between his fate and his free will. Erin, much like
- 23:11Speaker 1: how he broke the shackles earlier by ripping off his thumb,
- 23:14Speaker 1: would do the same here, breaking free of Emir's control
- 23:17Speaker 1: over him by shredding his very being outside. The neck
- 23:20Speaker 1: of the Founder is destroyed by an explosion armand further
- 23:23Speaker 1: destroys the body with his own transformation. Arman is walking
- 23:26Speaker 1: away from the blaze when he senses Erin's appearance. Aaron
- 23:29Speaker 1: walks closer to him in the form of a colossal
- 23:32Speaker 1: titan in the distance. All of the scouts are turned
- 23:35Speaker 1: into tightens by the shining centipede, but as Erin closes in,
- 23:39Speaker 1: they prepare to fight, but Erin stops instead he offers
- 23:43Speaker 1: him his hand. However, behind them, a new roar is sounded.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It echoes out to cross the grounds, causing the ear
- 23:49Speaker 1: drums of Armin and Erin to burst. They turned back
- 23:52Speaker 1: to see a new creature forming from a bright and
- 23:54Speaker 1: violent golden glow. A massive beast begins to form, its
- 23:58Speaker 1: size surpassing even Erin and Armin's colossal titans. It's face,
- 24:02Speaker 1: the pale bones of death and its ribcage protruding from
- 24:05Speaker 1: its chest like tendrils. It would engage with them. Now
- 24:09Speaker 1: at this point, I hear you asking why in the
- 24:11Speaker 1: world Erin and Armin are allowed to fight Amir. Why
- 24:14Speaker 1: doesn't she just remove their powers and kill them? And
- 24:16Speaker 1: I actually have a good explanation for this. The answer
- 24:19Speaker 1: is that Erin has shorn himself into pieces. On a
- 24:21Speaker 1: spiritual and physical sense, Erin right now is still the
- 24:25Speaker 1: founding Titan, but Emir is in possession of the other
- 24:27Speaker 1: half of that power. She exists through the remains of
- 24:31Speaker 1: the former body and is using her half to fight,
- 24:33Speaker 1: and she would use it to take away Arman and
- 24:35Speaker 1: Erin's ability to fight her, but she can't because Erin
- 24:38Speaker 1: possesses the same power and is preventing it. Along with this,
- 24:42Speaker 1: Aaron would use his power and bond with his friends
- 24:44Speaker 1: to give them back their will and allow them to
- 24:47Speaker 1: speak and act as they once had even while pure Titans. Together,
- 24:51Speaker 1: they would fight Amir and the Shining Centipede. This is
- 24:53Speaker 1: a two sided battle. The biggest threat on the battlefield
- 24:57Speaker 1: is Emir, yet she is functionally immortal so long as
- 24:59Speaker 1: the sh Shining Centipede remains and while Erin is also
- 25:02Speaker 1: a founder, he is not the original and thus his
- 25:05Speaker 1: immortality would be negated by Emir, who would not allow
- 25:08Speaker 1: him to resurrect if he were killed. They would fight together,
- 25:10Speaker 1: but it becomes obvious that they're getting nowhere. She regenerates
- 25:13Speaker 1: so fast that none of their strikes can kill her,
- 25:15Speaker 1: and to a point, Armand begins to wonder if they
- 25:17Speaker 1: even can. Erin says it's possible, but to kill her,
- 25:21Speaker 1: they'll need to rob her of her power. Armand would
- 25:23Speaker 1: ask how they would do that, and Aaron would point
- 25:25Speaker 1: back at the shining Centipede. He would tell Armin that
- 25:27Speaker 1: this organism is the source of all of Emir's power
- 25:30Speaker 1: and that she can be defeated if they kill that thing.
- 25:33Speaker 1: So Armand makes his way toward it while Aaron holds
- 25:35Speaker 1: off this massive titan. This is no easy feat considering
- 25:39Speaker 1: the size of it. Aaron channels more of his stolen
- 25:41Speaker 1: power to increase in size. However, this doesn't help much.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Compared to Emir's body shape, Aarin is clunky and heavy
- 25:47Speaker 1: compared to a relatively agile form, which puts him on
- 25:50Speaker 1: the losing side. As it stands, He's doing everything he
- 25:53Speaker 1: can to block her control in him and the others.
- 25:55Speaker 1: There is no way he can control enough of this
- 25:57Speaker 1: power to transform himself further. As much as he hates it,
- 26:01Speaker 1: he would command his friends to help fight. If there
- 26:03Speaker 1: was one thing he learned from his time in the
- 26:05Speaker 1: squad Levi, it was when to trust your friends, so
- 26:08Speaker 1: he called them in. Meanwhile, Reiner and Arman are attempting
- 26:11Speaker 1: to get a grasp on the shining centipede. Arman is
- 26:14Speaker 1: too slow, but Reiner is too light. Arman can't catch it,
- 26:17Speaker 1: and when Reiner does, he can't hold on. But that's
- 26:19Speaker 1: when they suddenly get the help of Grisha, Krueger, Saber,
- 26:22Speaker 1: and Bertholdt. But beyond that, Aaron has managed to regenerate Zeke,
- 26:25Speaker 1: who is pelting it with stones as they speak together,
- 26:28Speaker 1: they managed to corral it, and Arman and Bertholdt manage
- 26:31Speaker 1: to get a hold on it. They lift it up
- 26:33Speaker 1: and with their titan power, begin to generate intense levels
- 26:36Speaker 1: of heat, cooking the creature until it begins to decay
- 26:39Speaker 1: in a similar fashion to a titan. At that point,
- 26:41Speaker 1: a sudden jolt of energy would be felt through every
- 26:44Speaker 1: eld in and then suddenly nothing The titan forms would
- 26:48Speaker 1: begin to melt away. As this happens, Emeers titan also
- 26:51Speaker 1: begins to falter as it lets out a roar. As
- 26:54Speaker 1: it does so, Mikasa and Levi rush through and fire
- 26:56Speaker 1: off whatever ordinance they have left into the back of
- 26:59Speaker 1: its throat, blowing out the nape and causing it to fall. Suddenly,
- 27:02Speaker 1: all titan bodies begin to decay. Erin would rise from
- 27:05Speaker 1: the smoldering embers of his fallen titan, only to be
- 27:08Speaker 1: embraced by Armin and Mikassa. At this point, Erin doesn't
- 27:11Speaker 1: even know what to say. Everything he's done and the
- 27:14Speaker 1: deaths of his friends he had caused strike him all
- 27:16Speaker 1: at once, and Erin begins to cry. Reiner meets up
- 27:19Speaker 1: with Bertholdt and Zeke would embrace his father and mister
- 27:21Speaker 1: kassarver Krueger would watch this from the distance, as he
- 27:24Speaker 1: would proceed to try and make peace within the Eldeans
- 27:27Speaker 1: and Marlians, of which the battle has caused tensions to rise.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Upon return to Paradise, Aaron and Zeke would call out
- 27:33Speaker 1: for the Aegorists to stand down and know that the
- 27:35Speaker 1: victory they fought so hard for had been attained, the world,
- 27:39Speaker 1: having been shattered by this war, would begin to beg
- 27:41Speaker 1: for peace treaties, of which Arman would help the foster
- 27:44Speaker 1: alongside Reiner, bertholdt Ani, and the others. Erin and Miikassa
- 27:47Speaker 1: would end up together, Sorry John, and would have a
- 27:49Speaker 1: child of their own, a girl they would name Sasha.
- 27:53Speaker 1: And if you think that Erin gets away scott free,
- 27:55Speaker 1: you're sorely mistaken. He would give himself up alongside Zeke
- 27:58Speaker 1: for trial and would be sent to life in confinement
- 28:01Speaker 1: for genocide. Aaron would be put under house arrest, in
- 28:04Speaker 1: which he can never leave the premises, but he's okay
- 28:06Speaker 1: with that. For the first time in his life, he
- 28:08Speaker 1: feels actually free. Peace returns, and slowly the world begins
- 28:11Speaker 1: to rebuild after having nearly faced extinction. Nobody's in the
- 28:15Speaker 1: mood for any other wars, and they begin to contemplate
- 28:17Speaker 1: what's best. This doesn't mean that war will never happen again,
- 28:20Speaker 1: though war would once more come and the world would
- 28:23Speaker 1: be thrown into turmoil. Well, I would love to spin
- 28:25Speaker 1: a yarn that ends with cherry blossoms and picnics and
- 28:28Speaker 1: everyone holding hands and singing kumbayah. I just don't have
- 28:31Speaker 1: enough faith in people to justify that hatred is a
- 28:34Speaker 1: beast that self resurrects and can only be defeated on
- 28:36Speaker 1: a personal basis. Everyone in the world has freedom, but
- 28:40Speaker 1: they must choose to live in peace, and that means
- 28:42Speaker 1: that while there are those who will choose peace, there
- 28:45Speaker 1: are those who will also choose war. And when one
- 28:48Speaker 1: chooses war, the men of peace must take up arms
- 28:50Speaker 1: to protect that peace. And so though the curse of
- 28:53Speaker 1: the Titans is gone, the threat to mankind will continue
- 28:56Speaker 1: to exist for eternity until there are one or fewer
- 28:59Speaker 1: people living on the planet. Sound bleak, I'm only quoting
- 29:03Speaker 1: dot pixis here who said the same, and the original
- 29:05Speaker 1: ending of attack on Titan shows us how war once
- 29:08Speaker 1: more begins in the world without the need of Titans.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's just in man's nature to fight. Sad but true.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It won't always be like this for us, though. Call
- 29:18Speaker 1: it a hunch anyway, What are your thoughts on this?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Did my ending to attack on Titan float over better
- 29:23Speaker 1: than the original? And if something went down that you
- 29:25Speaker 1: would change? What is it? I'm eager to know. Leave
- 29:28Speaker 1: a comment below and let us know about it. Don't
- 29:30Speaker 1: forget to like and subscribe if you haven't already, it'll
- 29:32Speaker 1: really help the channel, and be sure to ring the
- 29:34Speaker 1: bell if you want to know about more videos like
- 29:36Speaker 1: this when they drop. Peace
