- Yoel Bakas: Most oncology programs have a service contract with their major vendor. Almost none of them are actively tracking whether that vendor is performing against it. Uptime guarantees. Response times? maintenance windows and parts availability. These are not just line items. They are levers. If your vendor is underperforming against contractual KPIs, you have standing to renegotiate. If you're not tracking, you have nothing. I have sat on the vendor side of these conversations for 20 years. The programs that arrive with documented performance gaps have very different outcomes from the ones that show up with frustration. Pull your contracts, define your KPIs, and start tracking them now. That is where your leverage lives.
