- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Once you start getting to those deeper layers of what those core wounds are and your perspective shifts, then those like deeper awarenesses throughout your daily life are so clear.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: I used to think I was aware of these things.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: And I was aware in triggers of, oh, this is triggering me because this is just like a pattern I'm in.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: This is like a part of who I am.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: How do I change that?
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: What is the behavior?
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: How do I, and now it's not that awareness at all.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: The awareness is, oh no, this is like a core wound.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: This is a part of an old belief system that I'm still needing to shift.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And so I can view those triggers as opportunities.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: They're always opportunities now.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And I actually love it.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: It's so weird to say I like triggers, but like I do.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Unless they're really, really like hurtful and it's really getting to me and it's hard.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: I'm Elise Bassine, trauma and breathwork expert and creator of the Metamorphosis Method, the only methodology bridging the gap between spiritual healing and clinical trauma work.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: In this podcast, you'll discover my unique perspective on trauma healing and how it is the gateway to fully reclaiming your consciousness.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: You'll hear stories and teachings that expand your mind as you discover how every relationship challenge, business block, or limiting pattern is an invitation to reclaim the parts of your consciousness you unknowingly gave away.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive in.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: I am so excited for this week's episode with my client Sage, who has pretty much been through almost everything in my world.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: But this episode particular, we're talking about her experience in the metamorphosis method, breath work and trauma certification.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: And her transformation and her journey, it just blows my mind.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: And she articulates it so well.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: And I just love this conversation because it really, really just shows you what happens when you take the reins and you apply the tools and you get a result.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Like it's not rocket science.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: With the tools that I've created, A plus B does equal C pretty much 99.9% of the time.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: And Sage is a really beautiful example of that.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: And she also just did such a great job, you know, going through the process of first being afraid and not thinking she could actually be able to take clients on a longer journey of permanent transformation.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: And now, still with a month left of the program, she has two private clients that are she's taking on a long-term journey.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: And those clients were just attracted to her just through her being her in the world and talking about her process.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: So it's just really cool to watch how she felt when she came in and how she feels now, and just being able to create such a transformation in such a short amount of time.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna love this conversation.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: And also, if you would like to learn more about the certification and how it could specifically help you in your life, in your practice, if you want to start a business working with clients or you already have one, this is the only skill set you will need to take clients to a permanent result.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: And so many women who come into the certification say that they had a sense that there was something deeper that they weren't getting to with their clients, whether it was a coaching client, whether it was a fitness client or a physical therapy client or as a healer.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: In Sage's case, she already was doing breath work with clients, but they all say there was something they felt like was missing that they knew they needed to be able to get to to take their clients to a permanent result.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: And this certification was the missing piece for them.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Now they feel like they fully understand how to get to the root of what's happening with a client to take them to a permanent result.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: So if you are interested in acquiring that skill set and going through your own personal transformation to gain more confidence and a lot more clarity around your own process and how you specifically work with clients, then the certification is for you.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: You will learn how to facilitate private and group breath work experiences in person or virtually, and you'll learn how to pinpoint your client's core wound and take them through the tools to dissolve it to create a permanent result in their life.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: If you'd like to talk to me about it, you can schedule a call with me.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: We will link the call link below so you can schedule a call.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: And then also, you know, we'll link the sales page so you can see all the information about the certification.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: But I have to say there really is nothing like this certification on the planet.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I've done my research, but I think as far as breath work goes, there's definitely no breath work certification like this on the planet.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: And then also as far as trauma healing, I've taken what is a pretty complicated topic and distilled it down to a simplest form for you so that you can use it in a way that's going to get the fastest and most efficient results for your clients.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Reach out to me about the certification.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: I love you all so much.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Please enjoy the episode with Sage.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: And also don't forget to rate and review the show if you love it.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: And send me a screenshot before you submit your review, and you will receive a$250 credit to apply to anything that you join next in my world.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Have an amazing weekend.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: I'm sending you all so much love, and I will talk to you soon.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Hi, everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: So I've been like very excited for this conversation.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: So today I have Sage King with me, who is a breathwork practitioner and she is just finishing up in the certification.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: She's also been in the metamorphosis and everything else.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna talk about all the things today.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: And I'm really excited.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: So welcome to the show, Sage.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: I'm excited to be here.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Yay.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: If you can just talk a little bit about you and kind of like what got you to where you are now, and then what kind of drew you in to join the metamorphosis and like kind of that whole journey for you?
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: I know that's a big question.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'll try to make it concise.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: My background is actually in public health, so that's what I got my master's in.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: And I was doing some research work at local hospitals.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: And alongside that, I had a macro business.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Being in creativity is really important to me.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: And always into yoga, I taught yoga as well.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: And just always felt like there was like something a little bit deeper that I was moving through.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: And my father passed away a few years ago, and when that happened, it really drew me into back into therapy, first of all, which that kind of came to a close because I just felt like I needed to be back in my body.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: And so breath work just kept coming in at different ways.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: And so I decided to give it a try because I didn't know that breath work was anything beyond what I was doing in yoga class.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: And I had sat down and done an online breath work journey and came out of that.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: I swear it was like a transformation just in those 25 minutes.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: And it was through that that I was able to really process the grief of losing my father.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: And breath work became just a regular part of my life.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And then I just really wanted to share it with the world because it has been so impactful for me.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: And so I dove into a certification program before yours.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: It was mostly just breath work focused.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: It was an incredible program of six months, and that really set me on this new trajectory of what I'm doing now.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Breath work became my primary like business, but there kept being something where I was able to really dive deep with clients and take them on these beautiful journeys where they'd have like really incredible experiences and transformations.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: But then they'd leave and they'd come back a week later.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: And it's like nothing had happened in between, in a way.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: It was like I couldn't quite take them to the depth I wanted, and I didn't know what was missing at that point.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: But that's when I went, I really just asked, like I asked source, what is the next step for me in this business?
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: I know there's something that is gonna be deeper where I can support my clients beyond just breath work.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: And I was sitting down with a friend in a coffee shop and she mentioned doing a program with you, and I was like, there's my answer.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Like I knew, I knew there was something that I needed, but it wasn't clear to me until that point.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: So I came into your world, into the mothership, and the metamorphosis, and had some very big transformations in my own personal journey.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: And then you were offering the certification, and I remember thinking, I don't know what I'm gonna do with this.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: I don't really see myself doing this type of work necessarily.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: I was scared to do it, like one-on-one clients, more than I was in a deeper way.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: But then I just trusted my intuition and it felt right.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: And so I jumped in and everything has changed since then.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: I remember you saying, I don't know why I'm supposed to do this, but I'm supposed to do this.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: And I was thinking, like, I'm pretty sure I know why you're supposed to do it, but okay.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: And then obviously it became clear.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: And I think it was more around, like you said, you wanted to be able to go deeper with clients, but you just you weren't sure what that looked like or how to get there.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: But before we go into the certification, I just want to go back to the metamorphosis.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: And then obviously, you came into the mothership.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: And what were some of the biggest shifts for you inside the metamorphosis and just doing the work on your own?
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: There have been so many.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: The biggest like breakthroughs was having a new awareness in moments of triggers and like what was actually happening underneath the surface, especially around just like the core wounding, which is what you talk about all the time, and just helping me to be able to better understand what the core wounds are within myself.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I am not enough, I'm not good enough.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Those are really like big ones for me.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: And then being able to move through your modules and with your guidance to then be able to view the world in a different way, to be honest.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Like my whole perspective of the way I move through the world, the relationships I have, the cheers that come up are just I see it completely differently now.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: And through that, I've been able to just really release a lot of blocks that I had, whether it was in my business or in my relationship with my husband or whatever it was.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And the abandonment wound, dissolve your abandonment wound, that's really where I started with you.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: That was just a week, and I was already feeling lighter and had a little transformation in that as well.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: And so I just knew that there was more to this and the inner child work has been the biggest part for me.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I wanted to talk to you about specifics.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: There's two things.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: I feel like there was like your relationship, but also the business, and you can pick which one you want to focus on more, but you know, just like how you felt before versus how you feel now.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: I can't remember what it was specifically with your relationship, but I remember there was a lot of big ahas in terms of like how you were showing up and then how you were able to show up differently to have a different level of connection.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: But then also in the business, I feel like there was a lot of, I don't know what I want to do.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: Like I know I want to do something different, but I don't know.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: And then that kind of shifted into just clarity, but also a new level of confidence in it too, like where you knew that you could do it.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'll I'll go to the business because I feel like it's just a little more like tangible.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: The relationship's a little feels a little more abstract still.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: But yeah, with the business, I would say, yes, I came into the certification or just into your world in general of being terrified of being seen, of really putting myself out there.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: So whether that was me like being on social media in a way that I really wanted to be, or just putting out the programs I wanted to, or especially having a longer package with one-on-one clients.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: That was something I didn't know if I wanted and I knew that I was terrified of because it felt like this, there was so much responsibility on me, which now I know it's it's not.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: But and so when I had the transformations through your programs, yeah, I feel like a completely different person.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: I feel like my confidence has skyrocketed.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: I feel as though I can and I do show up on social media in a very different way.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: It's much more genuine and authentic, and I speak to whatever my experience is in the moment or an experience that I have with a client.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: And it's like I went from seeing somebody like you or other people doing the thing that I want to do, and me thinking, oh, that can't be me.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: That's never gonna be me, to I can't wait until that's me.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: Really feeling like that is gonna be me.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: And it already is becoming me.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: So that was a massive shift for me.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: It's just having the confidence and to be able to like be myself and be seen in a different way.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's huge.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: And then before we go into the certification more deeply, I just wanted to say, I feel like you did so well in really mastering the inner child healing process and like really being able to use that in the moment.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: And can you talk a little bit about that?
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: And then also even when it comes to like the confidence or the being seen stuff, like how you were able to use that process to create a shift around those things.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Cause I feel like you did such a good job at that.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's wild.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: I just put something on social media yesterday about how like I can move through these triggers so quickly now.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: It took a little while to develop that relationship with my inner child, but it can be say something on social media and all of a sudden having this fear around, oh gosh, what are people gonna think?
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: I'm being judged, who am I to say these things?
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: The imposter syndrome, like that was like such a big thing for me.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: But when I when I feel that like anxiousness, when I feel that trigger come up, I know how to connect with that little five, six-year-old sage.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: I have a picture of her right there on my desk.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: We formed like a very deep relationship now.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: And it takes me less than a minute to just be with her and ask her what it is that she needs, and she tells me instantly.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: That seems so abstract, but it just, it's a it's a sense and it's a feeling that comes in really quickly.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: And then when I'm able to acknowledge exactly what it is she needs, which is always something deeper, as I'm not enough, then I can tend to her and give her what she needs.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And through that process, I just come out of it and I move on and I post the thing or I write the thing or I have a conversation with my husband or whatever it is.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: So that's been a key part of all of this.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: That was missing.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: That was like such a missing part of the puzzle.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: And I have played around with inner child work before, but I could never really get a solid process for myself.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: And through you teaching your process and me bringing in my own way of doing it, like it's just made it so simple and easy now.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: And the triggers are just they're less charged or they're just so much quicker.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: And that's the thing.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: It's not like we're never gonna get triggered.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: It's just a matter of how you deal with it and how you can quickly move through it.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: And I think that you just did a great job with like really embodying those things because I think for some people it does feel really abstract.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: And it's something that you really have to practice a lot and get good at.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: But once you integrate all of the concepts and make them your own and you understand how to do it like within yourself, then it really does work.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: And I think you did a great job of not only doing that, but also understanding that that's what you needed to do.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: Cause I think some people can look at it like surgery or let me just follow this formula, but it's not really like that.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: It's like you kind of have to like feel it and like dance within it and figure out how to make it work for you.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: And I think that also takes a level of you have to be willing to like be curious and try things on your own and have things not work and then try something else.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: And that is such a key component to this.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: And I think you just did so well at that.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: And I love just how you've been able to use it.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: That's what I want.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this works.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: I want everyone to use it.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, so let's go into the certification too.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: And I want to start with like how you felt in the beginning.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Cause I know in the beginning you were like, I don't know if I want to work with one-on-one clients for a longer amount of time.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: Like you had some doubt around that.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: I had so much self-doubt because I felt so responsible for people's experiences.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: And I felt like I was gonna have to say the right thing at the right time.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: And what if I didn't?
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: And what if I didn't know what to say?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: What if I didn't know how to guide them through an experience or coach them?
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: And no, I just don't feel that way at all.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: I think a lot of it was you helping with through the certification, helping me build trust in myself.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: So how I coach is going to be different from somebody else.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And we've talked about this a lot, where sometimes I can't always articulate exactly what I'm feeling or what I'm sensing.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: It doesn't really matter because the experience is still really powerful.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: And when I was able to just accept that or just get curious about that and not put so much pressure on coaching in the way that I thought people were supposed to coach, not to say I don't have conversations, I do with my clients, of course.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: But I really have learned to trust the senses in my body.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: That's where I gain knowledge, versus like in my mind, actually.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: I was able to just trust that.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: And that has really allowed me to give enough space with my clients' interactions to allow the thing to come through that's supposed to come through, that then I'm supposed to relay to them.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: And sometimes that just takes a little time because I'm just listening to them and I need to leave that space open.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: I need to, it's gonna come and it's gonna hit me in my body in some way.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: And yeah, a big part of the certification was just like building that self-trust that I can actually do this.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: And it's been proven that I can.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: So that was a big piece of it.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think the trust piece is huge because I think that some people come in and they're like thinking they have to do exactly what I'm doing.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: And it's like we all are gonna do it in our own way and we're all gonna do it differently.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: But it's more about really being able to trust like what is coming through for you, what you're feeling, and being able to build that like safety and connection with your clients.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: In the beginning, you were like doubtful in your ability to take one-on-one clients onto a longer journey.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: And now you're like doing it and you're super excited about it.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: So, what would you say?
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: I know we talked about the trusting thing, but what would you say was the biggest shift to go from like not wanting to do it to now like I'm so excited to do this?
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's where like a self-trust, but also that helped me build the confidence and not only self-trust to build the confidence, but your tools, like what you teach in the certification.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: Teaching how to really distill down what the core wounds are for people, being able to see them through what they're talking about and just get to the root of what's actually happening.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: And then using the inner child process that you teach as well as what I weave into it to then help them have the shifts.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: And of course, the breath work is a big part.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: But yeah, no, the tools you teach that's truly gave me so much confidence because they work.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: They worked on me, they work on my clients, and it was just like it feels so much more simple, right?
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Like it doesn't feel as complicated.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: I think it was just I felt overwhelmed at first.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Like, how am I ever gonna be able to do this?
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: But the way you teach it has made it very easy to follow in a lot of ways.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, that gave me a lot of confidence, and yeah, and it's made it really just enjoyable to work with clients now and see their transformations because they are deep and changing their lives.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: And I think you think this too, it's fun to like figure out what's going on.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: Like, I think it's fun.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's like a project.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: I always talk about like the CSI, like connecting all the like diet and all that.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: I think of that all threads.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I think it's so fun.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: The other thing I wanted to talk about too is just your take on because one of the things I think is so important is, you know, that you can't really take clients where you haven't gone yourself and the importance of doing your own work and how that informs how you work with clients.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: What's your thoughts on that?
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's why the certification is great as well, because not only are you training us, but we're also going through the whole metamorphosis.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: And the deeper I go with my own healing, the more I can recognize in other people.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it just goes hand in hand.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: When I've Always known that to be true.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: It's like you can only take deep people as deep as you've gone.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And I understood that before, but I didn't understand it in this way.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: And now that I have gone through such deeper work with you, that translates into deeper work with my clients.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: I think one of the other things that I think is so important is just being able to like recognize what's yours and what's not, and being able to really hold a clear and safe space for people and put your stuff to the side.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: How do you feel about that whole process of learning that?
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's been a key part as well.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: I will say, I think it also takes time.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: So this might not answer the question exactly, and I'm maybe taking a little bit of a turn, but it's related.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: The energy that I used to feel like I expelled during sessions before your certification, I would feel really drained.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: I feel really drained after client sessions, especially group sessions.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: But I think coming into the certification and you helping us through the energy work and also, yeah, helping us be able to hold space with the boundaries between our own stuff and our clients is what has really also been transformative in terms of I never feel drained.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: Actually, I feel like very energized after being with clients, even in group sessions.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: And a lot of the like cord cutting you teach and the energy work has been huge to not feel like I'm taking on somebody else's stuff.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: So I have my own like process now learning from you at the end of sessions of how to disconnect so that I'm not carrying their stuff with me.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: So I think it was just like a learning process of the energetics of holding my own boundary between them and myself.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, that part is huge.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And just not feeling drained after you work with people now is huge because you don't want to feel drained after working with people.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: No.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, the other thing I wanted to talk about too is like the exchanges too, and like your experience with that.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Because I know in the beginning of every round I've done so far, everyone is like, what?
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: You know, you have to start doing them right away.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: And people are like, I don't know what to do.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: What do I do?
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: I don't know how to do this.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: You already had experience with breath work, so it probably wasn't as confronting for you.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: But just in general, what was your experience with the exchanges?
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: So it wasn't confronting because I felt, although your breath work is different than the breath work I sometimes facilitate.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: So in that sense, I was still learning and it was still new for me.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: So it was a little like uncomfortable at first.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: But I'm comfortable like facilitating breath work.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: So that part aside, I think what the exchanges did for me the most was, and you used to keep saying this, your presence is enough, your presence is enough.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: And through those exchanges, I could say, okay, you know what?
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna say a lot because I know that that's not where my power comes through.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: My power is through my presence and what I feel in my body and what I emit from that or what I hold from that.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: And so the exchanges were great for me being able to play with that energy and just say less and just be in it more.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: And now I do that a lot more in my sessions, even in group sessions.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Like so much more of it is just being comfortable, holding the space and knowing that I am enough just by holding that space.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: And the transformations have been equal.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: That's like it's you don't have to say all the things.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: So the exchanges were great for being able to play with those types of things in a way that didn't feel intimidating because we're all on this journey together and everyone is just so supportive in the group.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: And I've made great connections with all of the women.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: So yeah, the exchanges were a huge part.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and also like for you, I know there was this whole thing around like feeling like you couldn't articulate the feelings you were having in your body and say them.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: And I feel like that was a huge shift too, where you're like, oh, wait, maybe I don't have to say them.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: That was exactly it.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: I was like, just have the feelings.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: I don't even need to know necessarily what they mean.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: But and sometimes I may mention, oh yeah, I experienced this thing in this part of my body or this part of me felt really charged when this happened.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: I might share something like that.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Maybe it means something for somebody, or maybe it doesn't, but not feeling like I had to translate that into words just to fill the space.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: I know, and that's huge because I feel like like I think that's the first thing that people ask me for, which is why I like made that whole PDF of like things to say, because everyone feels like they have to say something, which is why I'm like, you don't have to say anything.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: Cause I think it's also for me sometimes too, when I was thinking about this at the Mexico retreat, because I was doing so much in-person breath work, and I actually get so much information just by watching somebody breathe that I don't even know that I can fully articulate in that moment.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: But especially if I'm continuing to work with that person, I feel like I understand their energy and their patterns in this very deep way just from watching them breathe.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: For sure.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: And without like the need to have to say the things, then you can really tap into that more energetic level versus being in your head of what am I supposed to say here?
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: So that was huge.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: I appreciated that so much.
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: And then I feel like the other thing too that happened really easily for you was just like, I feel like you started to get clients just by talking to people, not even about this, but just like sharing what you saw based on all these tools.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: And then people were just like, I want to work with you.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: I just would be sharing about my own experience.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: And and again, I think that's another connection to the you can take people as deep as you've gone, is because then they're feeling a reflection from you and they're resonating with something that you're saying, where before this program, I didn't even have gone through that experience or felt that healing in myself.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: And so I wouldn't have been able to even share that.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: We've done it so much, not just through the exchanges, but just it's like some of our calls are turns into coaching calls, right?
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: And so we're able to see how you're coaching people through things.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: And in the back of my mind, I'm always like, oh yeah, okay.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: So what would I have asked or what would I have said?
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: And some very on point, oftentimes, right?
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was another part that really changed for me.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Is the other clients just coming in because I don't know, they resonated with what I was saying because I was speaking it from my heart and my truth, and it wasn't like made up, and it was just really like the healing that was coming through me was then being transferred out and they could relate.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: I know that was incredible.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: And it was just like cool to watch.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: And I love when that happens for people where like it's just, oh, these people are just like coming in.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: And like, yes, of course, we want to do like all the business stuff, but I think a lot of times when you're like just out in the world being you and sharing like the truth of who you are, then people just want more of that.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: And I think people can sense too that you do have a level of expertise, and like I think that's one thing that I that we talk about is really being able to show up as like the authority and the expert and remembering that you do know a lot now, and you can take somebody on a journey and to really embody that.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: But I think when you are around clients, you're like, oh yeah, I do know a lot.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: And just the difference from before coming into this program and the way I facilitate an experience for somebody, like I was very confident in breath work.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: But again, it was like the missing links of okay, but then what?
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: What are we doing with this experience that you have?
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: And that's where I was so stuck.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Like I didn't know the next step for them.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: And now I do, and I have so much confidence around taking them on a really deep journey, whether it's three months, six months, whatever it is.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: And it's really shifted like the way I want to work with people.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: Like one-offs to me, I will do because I think it's nice for people to experience, but you can't go so deep with just one session.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: And I want to work with people that really want to take the investment in themselves for a longer period of time, because that really is where the deeper healing and transformation comes.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: So that's been a nice kind of shift in just the way I run my business as well, because that's really where like the impact happens is one-on-one or group programs, but they they can't do it in just one session or even four sessions.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: No, I mean, that's why the mothership is a year, because it's I mean, it really is a lifelong process.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: You don't need to commit to something for life.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: I think I think you can go through seasons of it.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I mean, the long term is so rewarding because also, like, then you can really look back, like we're doing right now.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: If we look back, it's been almost a year, I think, like a little less than a year since you entered my world and to be able to look back from that time till now, it's like a huge difference, a huge transformation.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: But that's not gonna happen in one session or three, you know?
- 31:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: Then you ended up doing a group program.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: And yeah, so let's talk about that for a minute because I know that was something that, but you teach like group breath work, but this was like an online, like longer group program.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: So yeah, let's talk about that.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: And also you're just like, I don't think you had a lot of fear around it per se, but I think it was something that you were a little bit like, you know, you wanted to do, but you weren't sure.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: And then I think you just ended up having clarity around it and it just happened.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: It did.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: I had clarity around the inner breathwork session.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: Literally, the whole thing came to me and I was like, okay.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: And so I like got up and like within a week I had it launched because I think it's important that you like run with that inspiration when it comes, right?
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Because it came to me for a reason.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: I learned a lot.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: I love that group program, but it was one of those things where it's four weeks, and now I know I that's just not enough time to really take them into as deep of a transformation as I would like.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: But I really enjoyed it and I definitely have many ideas of where the next one is is gonna take them and when that's coming, which is exciting because I've had a lot of clarity around that lately as well.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: I think group work, I love one-on-one, which is so funny because I wouldn't have said that before, and I really love it now, but I really love the group work too, because there's just something in being able to heal through other people's experiences and what they share.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: Like we are all healing together, and you can sometimes just feel so alone in it.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: So just having other women there to support you or just reflect back to you, or for you to just literally like have their energy that they've just experienced something major transformation, like seep into you as well.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: Like we're all healing each other in that way.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: So it's just a beautiful way of going on a journey as well.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: And also I think like you benefit from like people will ask questions or bring stuff forward that you relate to or you actually would benefit from hearing about, but you wouldn't have thought of saying it.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 33:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: And then it's just like aha moments through, you know, what they said too.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: I think there's benefit to both at different times.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: Like I always will have people like they'll come into a group, but then there might be a time where I'm like, let's do some private work to focus on this specific thing.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: So I think both is always important and necessary.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: And then also in person.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: So, like, how was that transition?
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Because I know you were just doing in-person stuff and now you're doing online stuff.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: So, what was that transition like?
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: Because I know that was something you were like, I want this, but I don't know.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: I don't know what direction to go or whatever.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: So I really love in person because it is a different energy.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: But I think what I used to believe is that it couldn't be as powerful over a computer.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: I have since debunked that for myself.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: So I know that that's not true.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: It's just different.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: It's just different, period.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: And I really just had this desire to reach more people.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: That is the thing I want to do.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: I love being in Hawaii.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: I love supporting the women in my community here so much and being with them in person.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: But I'm also like, I want to reach people outside of Hawaii because I know there's so many people that need this work.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: And I just felt like I was holding myself back from only doing in person.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: And I think from a business standpoint, maybe for women that are listening, I also think it's a different type of energy that is expelled in some ways when you're in person versus virtual.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: Like I can hold a lot more client interaction and experiences virtually than I can in person.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: But it doesn't tire me out as much so I can support more people.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: Whereas just these in-person sessions, it was longer, it was more energy.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Again, I love them, but it just wasn't from a business standpoint, it really wasn't sustainable for me in the lifestyle that I have with two children and a busy life and all of the things.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: Like I couldn't just do in person anymore.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: So it was really nice to build that confidence through this program as well and be able to reach more women.
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for sure.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: And I mean, I think it can be such a great mix of both.
- 35:38SPEAKER_01: Like now for me, I'm more like, okay, I obviously do everything I do online, but then it's so nice to be able to bring people in person and kind of like have accelerate the process and then we continue it online.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: But I think there's so much power in meeting people in person and having like an experience that kind of like skyrockets things, and then we can keep it going.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: But I think it's both.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: And I enjoy both for different reasons for sure.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: I look forward to offering more retreats and and all of that too.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that's amazing.
- 36:14SPEAKER_01: I wanted to go back to a little bit to more of the just like the transformation.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: Cause I know you came in to dissolve your abandonment wound, and that was like the first thing.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: And even within that little amount of time, I feel like there was such a big shift.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: And I think that was the first thing that we identified for you as like the abandonment.
- 36:33SPEAKER_01: But then it got deeper and deeper and deeper.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: So maybe we can talk about that a little bit too.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: Cause I feel like that was such a powerful process that I feel like went really quick and really deep.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: I think once you start getting to those deeper layers of what those core wounds are and your perspective shifts, then those like deeper awarenesses throughout your daily life are so clear.
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: I used to think I was aware of these things.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: And I was aware in triggers of, oh, this is triggering me.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: This is just like a pattern I'm in.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: This is like a part of who I am.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: How do I change that?
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: What is the behavior?
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: How do I, and now it's not that awareness at all.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: The awareness is, oh no, this is like a core wound.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: This is a part of an old belief system that I'm still needing to shift.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: And so I can view those triggers as opportunities.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: They're always opportunities now.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: And I actually love it.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: It's so weird to say I like triggers, but like I do.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: Unless they're really, really like hurtful and it's really getting to me and it's hard.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: But the awareness that I have been able to cultivate through the program is like beyond anything I could have imagined and has been such a game changer for my life.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: So I like welcome the triggers and I learn through each one.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: And what I really want to say about this certification though, because it just dawned on me again, is like I came in knowing and being very confident in my breath work facilitation.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: But what that breathwork program did not teach me was yes, it was like trauma informed, and we had a we have a trauma expert and we learned not tools though, we just learned how to be cautious and like support people.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: But it was missing all of the other work.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: It was missing the inner child.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: Like when you pair breath work and inner child work together, it's incredible.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: So your program just goes so much deeper than so many of the breathwork programs out there.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: And so I just want to share that.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: If there's anyone out there that is like a breath worker and that's what she's doing right now, and you are feeling like there's something missing, jump into this certification because it was the missing link for me in my own personal journey and facilitation for clients.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: So if you want to take your breath work further, this is such a great program for that.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: I totally just tangented out of what we were talking about.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Like I want to make sure to say this because it's like an all-encompassing certification.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, and I think that's been my whole goal with it.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: Because I've been doing breath work for so long, too.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: I also understand what it really is, what it can be.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: And there's so much more to it than just having an experience.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: Like it actually has the power to like really change things for you and shift things on like a fundamental level, if you know how to use the tools to make that happen.
- 39:30SPEAKER_01: So I think that's been my primary goal with the whole thing is to like be able to effectively take people somewhere to a permanent transformation beyond just like a one-time experience.
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: I think that if someone's just doing the breath work piece, not that they can't create changes because I think they can, but it's not on this level.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: It's not.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: Thank you for saying that.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: And and what I've noticed is like the people that will come to it, it's just a different person, right?
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: Some people are just like, yeah, I just want four breathwork sessions because it makes me feel better, right?
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: They leave and it makes they feel better.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: They felt more peace.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: They maybe have some aha moments, but they're not really ready to go to the deeper level.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: So it's just that it's a different, I think, client in that respect.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then I think also it's like the person who comes to yoga class to get fit.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: Yes, they come in to get fit, but then eventually, if they keep going, they're most likely gonna get interested in like the spiritual aspect of it.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: And I feel like it's the same way because it's like, well, you don't want to have to always go to you for a breath work session in order to feel better.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: Like you want to be able to do that on your own.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: And that's what this is all about is like being able to not have to rely on somebody else.
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: And obviously, yes, it's so important to get support from people.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: We know that.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: But you like you were talking about being able to before you make a post on social media, go through that process so you can feel confident again.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: Like you don't want to have to reach out to somebody to get support every time you're about to post on social media.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: That's not efficient.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: No, it's not.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: Then you get to the place where gradually you don't even need to do that anymore.
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: Because it's not even triggering to you anymore.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: And that's the whole point.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's really been a big thing in my relationship.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: If we want to go in that direction too, is it's definitely changed my relationship with my husband and it's changed him.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: This is the crazy part about the work, right?
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: And you talk about this all the time, but until you actually experience it, you're like, yeah, whatever.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: But you're always like, listen, when you do the inner work, like the external world changes and your relationships change.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: And that has a hundred percent been true.
- 41:47SPEAKER_00: And so instead of just like nitpicking my husband for things, I'm able to just be like, wait a minute, what is actually happening here?
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: And identify it very quickly and then address it with myself.
- 41:58SPEAKER_00: And then we're all good because it wasn't something had nothing to do with him.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: And so, like, we don't argue about the same things.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: I like overhear some things he'll like sometimes be saying to his friends or someone he knows, and I'm like, huh, that's interesting.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: I don't think you've had that perspective before I started doing this work.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: I don't remember what it was, but I remember you shared at one point.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: You're like, so I just overheard my husband like saying this thing.
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: He would never have said that before.
- 42:27unknown: Yeah.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, it's seeping in, that's right, without having to like have the conversation around so much of this stuff.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: And that was like a really freeing part of this work, too.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: It's been huge.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: That was like part of therapy.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: It was like, how many times are you gonna tell me I need to go have the conversation with my mom about how like her leaving me when I was younger was like so hurtful and is still affecting me today.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: Like, she knows that.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: I actually forgive her 100%.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: I've forgiven her for a long time.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what she did was shitty, but like I love her.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: I've moved on from that.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: I don't need to like have a conversation with her about it that does me no good.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: It actually is worse because she can't not cry in those situations.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: So it just takes me to a place that is actually worse for me than if I don't have a conversation with her and I just deal with my own abandonment wound and I deal with it with my inner child, and I don't have to go to her with it at all.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: And that's been so freeing.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 43:25SPEAKER_01: Like, how many times do I tell people not to talk to their parents?
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you've probably heard me say that over the last year like a million times to people, because I'm always like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, we're not talking to them about this.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: Yes, it does have something to do with them, but it actually doesn't because it's not about them, it's about you taking responsibility for what your experience was and how you created beliefs and you have unmet needs based on that experience.
- 43:51SPEAKER_01: It really has nothing to do with them.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: And I think that's the part that is that can be a little hard to like grasp or understand.
- 43:58SPEAKER_01: Cause I think in the beginning, A lot of people are like, oh, they realize something, and then they're like, oh, I need to go explain this to my mom.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: And it's no, no, that's only gonna make things worse.
- 44:08SPEAKER_01: In fact, don't.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be worse.
- 44:10SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: It's not a good idea.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: I do like mindset too, for sure.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Because it's easy to get wrapped up in that.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: But yeah, so I really appreciated that about the program too.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: And being able to do that for my clients too.
- 44:23SPEAKER_01: Now it is true.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: Like everything shifts when you shift the patterns.
- 44:28SPEAKER_01: So like whenever anyone comes to me and is, I don't know if I should stay in this relationship, or I don't know if I should leave my job.
- 44:35SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, that's fine.
- 44:37SPEAKER_01: Like you don't, you don't have to decide.
- 44:39SPEAKER_01: Like you'll know, or it'll just naturally happen once you clear the pattern and once you address the wounding.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: Like it always does.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: That's why so many people who come into the metamorphosis end up like they're leaving their jobs, or like something happens where they have a long leave that happens.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: Something like that always I know it happens every time in one of your programs.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: No, it happens all the time.
- 45:01SPEAKER_01: And like I like laugh about it now.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: It's just literally, I don't think there's been any time where that doesn't happen.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: So I'm just kind of like, oh yeah, that's because it's just a result of clearing the pattern.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: And the funny thing is sometimes people don't even realize it's part of it.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, this is it.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: This is because like when you're in the work, you can't see it as clearly when you're like in it and you're doing it.
- 45:27SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 45:28SPEAKER_01: But then when you look back over time, you're like, I'm a completely different person now.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: So the other thing too, I wanted to ask is about like your relationships with your kids too, or just like how you feel as a mom, because I know that's shifted as well.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it has.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: I think I can just connect with them better, but also I've recognized that they're just mirroring my stuff.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: And I've seen it pretty clearly, especially with my daughter and abandonment stuff, because when she goes through these phases that are very intense of not being able to be away from me, or if I leave her having a really hard time with it, even if it's going to the store, it's finally becoming less.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: But it was like years of this being able to recognize, oh my gosh, that's it's just my inner child.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: There's something to her too.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: But a lot of it was like because of my energy that I was feeling that was then being like translated onto her, and she was reflecting it back.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: So it's like this back and forth that we were having, and so much of it was because I just needed to tend to like my little self that was her age when my mom left, right?
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: And being able to see that now in those interactions with her.
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: And now that we're talking, I'm like, yeah, things have actually drastically changed with her.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: It is rare that I leave for the store and she is sad about that doesn't really happen anymore.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: I don't even know if I realized that until just now, but it's very seldom that that happens anymore.
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: Because you addressed your abandonment.
- 47:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:01SPEAKER_01: Isn't that funny how we like don't even realize it's crazy?
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: We don't even know that the reason why is because it just seems normal, because you just became the person that like doesn't have that abandonment wounding anymore.
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: So it's not going to be a reflective back to anymore.
- 47:16SPEAKER_01: So it just feels normal.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: Like you just became that person.
- 47:19SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I feel like that happens all the time.
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: That's why it's so important to have somebody reflect it back for you.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: That's why I will always tell people like, wait a second, I feel like you would have dealt with this in a much worse way before, like or whatever it is, because you don't even realize a lot of time how much things are really shifting.
- 47:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: That's incredible.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: So she doesn't do that anymore.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so rare.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: It's so freeing.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: Well, that's amazing.
- 47:49SPEAKER_01: Tell us a little bit about like your business now and like where you're going with it and what you are offering and all of that stuff.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:58SPEAKER_00: So I work, I would say prep with women primarily, like coming into midlife or midlife seems to be most of my clients, which is where I'm at in my life.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: And I love to work one-on-one with packages, or I am still offering some smaller packages for just breath work to give people a feel for that.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: And then throughout the year, I do offer workshops in person and online.
- 48:22SPEAKER_00: And I will have a group program coming up soon.
- 48:25SPEAKER_01: Aren't you doing like monthly group breath work sessions online?
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, thank you.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: So the Sacred Portal, I have a monthly free virtual breath work circle the second Thursday of every month.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: So people can join that for free.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: It's always a great group of women and breath work and maybe some journaling, maybe some embodiment practices.
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it's like one of my favorite things to do every month.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: And that's in your Instagram for people to sign up.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you can go to Sage Breath Work on Instagram or Sagebreathwork.com.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: I also have a freebie on there for just like an expansion breathwork if they want to tap into their most embodied self.
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: So they can also grab that for free or join my monthly circle.
- 49:12SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I just loved like your whole kind of like trajectory, especially just because so much of it was just going from like these one extremes to the other.
- 49:25SPEAKER_01: Which was like just really fun to watch.
- 49:28SPEAKER_01: And yeah, just how you were able to like go from being afraid to really like share stuff online to then every day I'm like, oh my god, there's Sage and everything you post looks like so good.
- 49:39SPEAKER_01: I'm like, are you sure you weren't like doing this already?
- 49:42SPEAKER_00: Like I was like doing posts, but not no, I wasn't showing up in this way, I wasn't really like putting myself out there in this way.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: So yeah, and I think you're like sharing with the depth of knowledge that you have, but also your own transformation too.
- 49:59SPEAKER_01: And I think that's like the most important piece of it.
- 50:02SPEAKER_01: Cause again, you can't really speak to something you haven't gone through.
- 50:06SPEAKER_01: And then like when you go through it, you can speak to it, and people can really feel that and feel that you're like uh like somebody who can hold them and their transformation, and you can just feel that.
- 50:18SPEAKER_01: So it's a totally different feeling.
- 50:20SPEAKER_01: And I think that's why you just have been like walking around town and people are asking to work with you.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's been great.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: I know it comes out of most random places.
- 50:32SPEAKER_01: No, it really does.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: That's why I always say, as a business owner, you have to like just talk to people, just go be around people and talk to people because that's what happens.
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: I think I just want to add one more thing about like in my business, what I love to add into my experiences with people is just the embodiment work of being able to really tap into the version of yourself where those blocks are no longer there.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: Cause for me, that's always been like a really big part of my own personal practice.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: And so I love to like just share those practices with people where, yeah, you can still be stuck and we can still be working through the blocks and the trauma and all of that.
- 51:14SPEAKER_00: But let's maybe just take a break over here for a moment and put on this playlist and dance it out or go do this thing or that thing, but like the things that I love to do that really get me into the kind of the other side of that.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Because I think you can be going through all this stuff and sometimes it can feel really heavy.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: And I love to balance it with, but look, if that wasn't happening right now and you didn't have those blocks anymore, like how would she feel?
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: And let's really, really get into that feeling.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: So that's something else that I love to weave into my brands, is just it.
- 51:44SPEAKER_01: That's so important because you have to be able to know where you're going.
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: Cause then if you don't have that, okay, this is where I'm going, this is how I want to feel, then it's like we're just like I say, we're digging around the mud for no reason.
- 51:57SPEAKER_01: You want to be able to know where you're going and have a frame of reference for what that feeling is for you.
- 52:03SPEAKER_01: So, like that's not just like a fun thing to do.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: It's like very important to do that and to have that awareness because if you don't, then it's like you don't know where you're going.
- 52:13SPEAKER_01: And even if you felt it, you wouldn't know it.
- 52:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so true.
- 52:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:17SPEAKER_01: So that's like super important to be able to like access that version of yourself.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: And then slowly, as you do this work, you're able to access it more and more and more and hold it for longer periods of time.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: And then it just hits you.
- 52:31SPEAKER_00: I love those moments too, where you're just like taking a walk and you're like, you just feel that immense joy and depth in yourself of just like, hell yeah, I am incredible and powerful and amazing.
- 52:44SPEAKER_00: This is who I am, you know?
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: And it's just it's beautiful when that happens.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: And I think the more you can bring in those practices, like the more you can really begin to connect to that part of yourself too.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 52:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:56SPEAKER_01: And it's just like connecting to your power.
- 52:58SPEAKER_01: And I always say, too, it's like the inner child stuff, that's when you drop your power, right?
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: Because when you were a kid, you didn't have power.
- 53:06SPEAKER_01: So anytime you drop your power, like you know that your inner child is triggered and you're like operating from that place.
- 53:13SPEAKER_01: So in order to get your power back, you address it and then you can access your power.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: So it's like the two go hand in hand.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: And I also keep saying this to people.
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: It's like, I I really believe it's like our radical responsibility to do this work because we did not have the ability or the capacity to do this for ourselves when we were six years old, five years old.
- 53:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 53:40SPEAKER_00: But it's our responsibility as grown adults.
- 53:43SPEAKER_00: Like, we can handle this now.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: And it is our true responsibility to take care of this and clean it up.
- 53:50SPEAKER_00: Just anyone out there, this work is profound.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: And I truly think it's just like a responsibility of being a grown adult.
- 53:57SPEAKER_00: I wish everybody would do this because the planet would look drastically different.
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: I say that all the time.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this is all that needs to happen because if everyone did this work, then everything else would be solved because everyone would figure out how to solve everything because they wouldn't be projecting their shit onto each other.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: It's really not that hard to figure out.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 54:19SPEAKER_01: That's a whole other conversation.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: But yes, everything would be solved because everyone would be aware and taking responsibility for their experience.
- 54:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: We try and impact as many people as we can.
- 54:33SPEAKER_01: Anything else you'd like to share about anything, the program or your business or anything before we wrap up here.
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: Just if anyone's like on the fence of joining any of your programs or the certification, like, guys, I don't know what else to say except it will change your life.
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: And I don't say that lightly.
- 54:54SPEAKER_00: I really don't say that lightly.
- 54:55SPEAKER_00: I've been through other programs and they have not done what this program has done for me.
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: It's life-altering.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: Don't second guess, just do it if your heart is like pointing you in that direction.
- 55:05SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like so in indebted to you for the work that you do and just guiding me through my own process because it's been yeah, life-changing.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 55:15SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 55:15SPEAKER_01: Now I'm gonna go cry.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: Crying so thank you so much.
- 55:21SPEAKER_01: And we'll share all of your stuff so people can follow you and come to your breath work and all of that stuff.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: But you're incredible.
- 55:28SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited for you.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: And thank you so much for being here.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
