- 0:00Speaker 1: The S & P is 19 for 19 after the midterms.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It finished higher 12 months following every midterm election. So
- 0:05Speaker 1: from 1950 through 2022. So for everyone worrying about this
- 0:11Speaker 1: big pullback that's supposed to happen, fake news, it's not
- 0:15Speaker 1: here and it's not coming anytime soon.
- 0:18Speaker 2: We can have a conversation about valuation.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Evaluations are too high if some companies could default on
- 0:23Speaker 1: their loans.
- 0:24Speaker 2: But as far as the market, the market is going
- 0:26Speaker 2: to be fine. Nearly 37%.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Of household incomes above $ 500, 000 are living paycheck to paycheck.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Stupid. Cut back, respectfully, cut back on your spendings. Please.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You can't give all your money away to brands and
- 0:43Speaker 1: even people who are asking for money at this time,
- 0:45Speaker 1: you got to tell them no. And last week, Coca-Cola, Visa,
- 0:48Speaker 1: MasterCard hit record highs while chips, stocks were falling apart.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I don't believe in diversification, but pick a company or
- 0:55Speaker 1: two that you believe in and hold it for the
- 0:57Speaker 1: long term.
- 0:59Speaker 2: You'll be fine. That was crazy.
- 1:01Speaker 3: The two points that you ended with was actually where
- 1:04Speaker 3: I was going to start. I think the Coca-Cola thing
- 1:07Speaker 3: is really important. It had a great week and it
- 1:09Speaker 3: actually took a few of Pepsi's clients.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yes, it did.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So we looked at that KFC brand that has predominantly
- 1:15Speaker 3: been inside of the Pepsi-Cola family. It has now switched
- 1:18Speaker 3: over to Coca-Cola. Will we see more companies in that
- 1:21Speaker 3: family leave? That's an interesting one. But I think my
- 1:25Speaker 3: investment fact was that the Semiconductor Index was just had
- 1:28Speaker 3: its longest losing streak since 2008.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So nearly 20 years.
- 1:32Speaker 3: And what that means is the SOSX index, that ETF,
- 1:36Speaker 3: was down eight trading days in a row. We obviously
- 1:40Speaker 3: saw it change around today. But the interesting part, and
- 1:44Speaker 3: this is the part where I'm like, listen, guys, trust
- 1:47Speaker 3: your fundamentals, trust your research, trust the technicals. On Friday,
- 1:52Speaker 3: the SOXL, the leverage ETF, had its largest influx in
- 1:58Speaker 3: its history.
- 1:59Speaker 2: So as it was having its longest losing.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Streak on Friday, $ 3. 6 billion got poured into that ETF,
- 2:05Speaker 4: which tells you that somebody, institutions, smart money is saying, okay,
- 2:11Speaker 4: this is potentially a floor.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Here's where we're going to add some leverage here. So
- 2:15Speaker 2: that's interesting. You got to start watching the ebbs and
- 2:17Speaker 2: flows of how institutions are moving money. The fact that $ 3.
- 2:20Speaker 3: 6 billion got poured in Friday, I guess we didn't
- 2:24Speaker 3: know at the time, but the the tail end of
- 2:27Speaker 3: a losing streak that we haven't seen in over 18 years,
- 2:29Speaker 3: that usually is a sign that was there something fundamental
- 2:32Speaker 3: that happened inside the semiconductor story? There was some talk
- 2:35Speaker 3: about CoreWeave. We'll get into that. There's some talk about Oracle.
- 2:38Speaker 3: We'll get into that. But TSM reported all signs point
- 2:42Speaker 3: to the same amount of demand, if not more. ASML
- 2:45Speaker 3: reported even more demand. So those key clogs we said
- 2:49Speaker 3: were inside of the AI story were going to report
- 2:51Speaker 3: last week, and everything looked like it was all steam
- 2:55Speaker 3: ahead still.
- 2:56Speaker 1: When they have those days like that, when it's like
- 2:57Speaker 1: eight days down in a row, 15 days down in
- 3:00Speaker 1: a row, the market's down 15%, that's the time to buy.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Know your levels in advance.
- 3:05Speaker 1: But even for the Black Monday thing that was being
- 3:08Speaker 1: pushed this weekend, that was a buy sign to me.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Because anytime a big collapse happens, they're not announcing it beforehand.
- 3:19Speaker 1: You're going to see all the billionaires and hedge fund
- 3:21Speaker 1: managers get quiet like they did in COVID.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Don't panic. Hold for the long term. But stop gambling.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 1: A lot of you are getting smacked because you, and
- 3:29Speaker 1: I said this in Stock Club, like a futures only
- 3:31Speaker 1: portfolio or options only portfolio is not an investment portfolio.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Right.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You're gambling.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So you might as well go to Prospects or Calchi
- 3:39Speaker 1: and play that parlay game.
- 3:41Speaker 2: But if you're holding for long term, you have nothing
- 3:43Speaker 2: to worry about.
- 3:43Speaker 6: I think that that's what people need to understand too
- 3:46Speaker 6: is that when you over leverage your portfolio with any
- 3:50Speaker 6: type of trades, you're going to start to panic. Because
- 3:55Speaker 6: you're going to be losing the large majority of what
- 3:57Speaker 6: you have liquid. And no matter how good that you
- 4:01Speaker 6: think the trade is, short-term trades, maybe not so much.
- 4:07Speaker 6: This is actually the time when maybe day trading is
- 4:10Speaker 6: actually more beneficial. Because you can day trade based off
- 4:15Speaker 6: of technicals.
- 4:17Speaker 2: You can't. If they have discipline, that's the other part.
- 4:19Speaker 2: They don't have the discipline.
- 4:21Speaker 3: And the volume and volatility that's happening inside right now,
- 4:25Speaker 3: it makes the conditions viable for them.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You are rotating out of chips. And the chip sector
- 4:30Speaker 1: is the only thing that's keeping America out of a recession.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 5: The world.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Now is not the time to go to even oil.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The oil trade is too late because the prices are
- 4:42Speaker 1: too high in heat and oil and in crude. So
- 4:45Speaker 1: have your plan. But yeah, if you can trade well,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you can make a lot of money in this market,
- 4:48Speaker 1: but most don't have the discipline to do so.
- 4:49Speaker 5: But if you swing trading or if you, you know, leap,
- 4:55Speaker 5: things can go.
- 4:56Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:57Speaker 6: That's out of your control. The economy could fall apart.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Trump could start a war. Iran could have some missiles
- 5:04Speaker 6: headed towards Saudi Arabia, the Houthi rebels, the Ukraine and
- 5:10Speaker 6: Vladimir Putin situation. And, in the midterm elections there's a
- 5:14Speaker 6: variety of different things that can actually go that you
- 5:18Speaker 6: that doesn't mean the company's not a good company yeah
- 5:21Speaker 6: but it's things that can actually go wrong in that
- 5:23Speaker 6: trade so if you over leverage yourself if you have
- 5:26Speaker 6: too much money in just trades then that's not advisable
- 5:31Speaker 6: yeah yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 3: And i think what you're saying is important Because as
- 5:36Speaker 3: you're saying it, those things are actually happening.
- 5:40Speaker 2: There is a conflict between UK and Russia.
- 5:42Speaker 3: And we saw what happened with diesel and potentially reneging
- 5:47Speaker 3: on some obligations in terms of diesel and working with
- 5:50Speaker 3: Russia and China going in the future. We see what's
- 5:53Speaker 3: happening with Iran and Saudi Arabia. There is a midterm
- 5:57Speaker 3: election that is going to come to a conclusion in
- 5:58Speaker 3: two weeks. Those things are actually happening. And that fight
- 6:00Speaker 3: is getting nasty.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And we're down 2%. Well, on Friday, we were down 2%.
- 6:05Speaker 3: So you would think with all of that happening, it
- 6:07Speaker 3: should have been a greater pullback, which is why I
- 6:09Speaker 3: said the most valuable asset, especially if you're in options
- 6:13Speaker 3: or if you're in, well, futures.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Time.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Time.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Time.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Because what you've done by having the time, and we
- 6:21Speaker 3: did some in a class last month where we went
- 6:23Speaker 3: out to 2029, is that we've priced in this volatility.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Right?
- 6:28Speaker 3: The data isn't going to be as volatile because we
- 6:31Speaker 3: understand that we have 900 days to expirations. So you
- 6:34Speaker 3: want to make sure that you put that as a
- 6:37Speaker 3: barrier inside of your plan if you're going to do that.
- 6:39Speaker 3: But definitely, I think the foundation part is important. That
- 6:42Speaker 3: part gets missed.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And for all you debt is good people, not working
- 6:45Speaker 1: for Corweave and Oracle, Apple has underspent on AI, but
- 6:50Speaker 1: with the one thing they did do tremendously well, they
- 6:53Speaker 1: managed that money well.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Did you get the new phone? Not yet.
- 6:56Speaker 1: All right.
- 6:56Speaker 2: You got it?
- 6:57Speaker 3: I did not do it. I was going to preorder
- 7:00Speaker 3: it on Friday. Okay.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The duo. Sold out, yeah. And it was sold out.
- 7:04Speaker 3: And then my daughter's like, Dad, I don't know.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That looks kind of cheesy for you. You should just
- 7:09Speaker 2: get a regular phone. Leave that up to the kids.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I'm like, damn. You don't really need it.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Detroit, Michigan.
- 7:17Speaker 6: Salute to Detroit, one of my favorite cities in America.
- 7:19Speaker 6: We will be in your area Friday. Friday, we will
- 7:23Speaker 6: be in Detroit. We're doing a free event in Detroit.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:27Speaker 6: So, you know, that's always love. Friday, 7 o'clock. Get
- 7:30Speaker 6: there early. I tell you that much. Um, and it
- 7:33Speaker 6: is a downtown is that the, uh, the one campus
- 7:37Speaker 6: that elevate, elevate at one campus. Um, and you can
- 7:41Speaker 6: get your tickets at Horatio Williams foundations, Instagram page. So
- 7:46Speaker 6: go to Horatio Williams, Instagram page, foundations, Instagram page, get
- 7:51Speaker 6: your ticket. It's a free event. It says seven o'clock,
- 7:54Speaker 6: but it's first come first serve RSVP. You must RSVP.
- 7:59Speaker 6: You must get your ticket today. And I think we're
- 8:01Speaker 6: going to be doing some other stuff. Some cool things
- 8:03Speaker 6: in Detroit while we out there, too. So, you know,
- 8:06Speaker 6: Detroit's always been one of my favorite places.
- 8:08Speaker 2: For sure. So much love out there.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Man, Ken, what's the deal?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Ken, what's up, y'all?
- 8:14Speaker 5: Chill.
- 8:14Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 8:17Speaker 6: Man, we got a Bravo. What's the deal? We got a,
- 8:21Speaker 6: you know, what's going on? Shout out to the D.
- 8:24Speaker 5: What up, though?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 5: I will have my Buffalo frames.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Got to do it.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Perhaps.
- 8:30Speaker 5: It's only right.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Perhaps.
- 8:32Speaker 5: But man, shout out to Detroit. So pull up on us.
- 8:34Speaker 6: If you're in Detroit or surrounding areas, pull up on
- 8:36Speaker 6: us on Friday at 7 o'clock.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Thank you for reminding me because I forgot to do this.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I will be at Volume Up Summit Friday at the
- 8:43Speaker 1: Maroon Culture Club. Me, Cortez Bryant, and a few others
- 8:46Speaker 1: will be speaking. Of course, I'll be telling you how
- 8:48Speaker 1: to navigate this upcoming recession if they announce it, how
- 8:52Speaker 1: to get rich from the market, and what companies I
- 8:55Speaker 1: think are going to fall apart post-2027. I'm linking my
- 8:58Speaker 1: bio on Instagram, so I'll see you in Columbus. When
- 9:01Speaker 1: you see us both out on the road the same weekend, indication.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Increase the frequency of activity. That's the perfect edge. That's
- 9:12Speaker 1: the perfect edge.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Perfect. Okay, what's the trading tip of the week?
- 9:16Speaker 1: For all my traders, focus more on the weekly chart.
- 9:20Speaker 1: A lot of people was in such a disarray, and
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm sure your phone was blown up on Friday. And
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm like, zoom out. You're looking at the intraday timeframes,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and I get it. But if you go high to low,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and if you're looking at the weekly for, let's take Oracle, Microsoft, AMD, Nebius, IBM,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you can see a clearer picture. And also look at
- 9:41Speaker 1: the weekly open. I've never talked about this publicly. I
- 9:43Speaker 1: have in Stock Club. But a lot of times you
- 9:45Speaker 1: need to see where the week is open at to
- 9:47Speaker 1: see if we're underneath the equator or above.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Visa was above. Coca-Cola was above.
- 9:54Speaker 1: And even for the ones that slid under, it's usually
- 9:57Speaker 1: a good opportunity to get in. So when there's a
- 9:59Speaker 1: bad week cycle that can be a great indication for
- 10:02Speaker 1: falls five or ten percent to get in and look
- 10:04Speaker 1: forward to rebound and.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Go back above the open yeah i think that's why
- 10:07Speaker 3: that that moving average uh is so important if you
- 10:10Speaker 3: looked at i'm glad it's crazy you said nibius so
- 10:13Speaker 3: nibius was a company we were looking at it hit
- 10:15Speaker 3: its 200 day uh bloom energy we we did a
- 10:18Speaker 3: whole case study on it and watched it run to
- 10:21Speaker 3: 300 and understood like hey if it gets to 300
- 10:23Speaker 3: great but we really like it in the 240 to
- 10:27Speaker 3: 220 range it actually got down to 216 we did
- 10:29Speaker 3: some calls on it but just having those metrics before
- 10:33Speaker 3: it gets there yes yeah you actually gave us a
- 10:35Speaker 3: a price on uh broadcom yes it got to that
- 10:38Speaker 3: price so i saw some people activating that but Having
- 10:41Speaker 3: that plan prior to it getting to these points are
- 10:43Speaker 3: so critical because you know that, hey, it's in the range.
- 10:47Speaker 2: It's in my zone. This is what I said I
- 10:49Speaker 2: was waiting for. Am I going to execute?
- 10:51Speaker 3: And a lot of times we're seeing more than not
- 10:53Speaker 3: people are executing because they have drawn those lines where
- 10:56Speaker 3: there is the 200.
- 10:57Speaker 2: We haven't seen too many get to the 400. Thank God.
- 10:59Speaker 3: We did see Microsoft there in June, but now, I mean,
- 11:03Speaker 3: nearly all-time high. And so it's important. Watch those moving averages.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Set the price points for them. And when they get there,
- 11:10Speaker 3: Look for opportune time. I think the other part, and
- 11:12Speaker 3: this is key, this is key. Not only watch to
- 11:15Speaker 3: see if it gets to that EMA, but let's see
- 11:18Speaker 3: if it falls below it. Because that might even be
- 11:20Speaker 3: a better time, right? I said 220, but it got
- 11:22Speaker 3: to 216. It fell below it. Within an hour, it
- 11:25Speaker 3: reclaimed it. So that tells me that there's some positive
- 11:28Speaker 3: momentum going back up on the upside.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And now, you know, we've seen Bloom kind of rebound
- 11:31Speaker 2: here to the 230, 240 range. Having a good price
- 11:34Speaker 2: is like having good insurance on your home.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Like a lot of people that are trading, They're trying
- 11:39Speaker 1: to get fire insurance after the house is up in flames.
- 11:42Speaker 2: It's too late at that point.
- 11:44Speaker 1: If you're already down or you don't know where to
- 11:46Speaker 1: get in, you got at the top of the market
- 11:48Speaker 1: or 1% off the high, when we pull back, your
- 11:51Speaker 1: portfolio is going to explode. So plan in advance to
- 11:54Speaker 1: know where could this stock that I really love fall to.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Buy at that price. Turn off your phone. Turn off
- 12:02Speaker 2: your laptop. Give it a week. Let it run. You'll
- 12:04Speaker 2: be okay. But quit panicking the day of because you
- 12:07Speaker 2: got in at an all-time high. Did you go shopping Friday? Yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 2: of course.
