- 0:00Speaker 1: NewsRadio 570 WKBN 406 here on a Wednesday, on a
- 0:03Speaker 1: wet Wednesday afternoon, 54 degrees. Ron Furb from the Kingdom
- 0:07Speaker 1: of Mahoning. All right, let me go back to Fort Lauderdale.
- 0:12Speaker 2: You're in a bad mood.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I'm not in a bad mood, but I don't want
- 0:15Speaker 1: to dwell on that situation that you want to dwell on.
- 0:17Speaker 3: I just don't.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Ron, you're incorrect, though. There's nobody personally responsible for buying
- 0:26Speaker 2: anything because I am not allowed.
- 0:28Speaker 3: To give advice over the phone. Don't you understand that?
- 0:33Speaker 3: I get it. So drop it. Or drop you.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to just dwell on it.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It's an insignificant thing to me.
- 0:42Speaker 3: All right, before.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I get to Bassey, can I ask you a question?
- 0:47Speaker 2: If you're accusing me of name-calling, why.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Do you allow..
- 0:52Speaker 1: I'm saying I'm trying to improve things. I do not
- 0:56Speaker 1: approve of personal attacks on callers.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I'm trying to prevent that from happening. All right.
- 1:01Speaker 2: But you allow Rich the pharmacist to call me.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I'm trying to prevent it.
- 1:05Speaker 2: And I semi, don't you?
- 1:06Speaker 3: I'm trying to prevent things.
- 1:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:09Speaker 2: All right. I appreciate it. Now, Massey.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yesterday, an emailer said that I said that Massey voted
- 1:17Speaker 2: with Republicans 97% of the time. I said last year
- 1:22Speaker 2: I told you Massey voted with Republicans 97% of the time,
- 1:27Speaker 2: but that was 2024. So I was off by 2%.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Big deal.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I was right.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But he also voted with Republicans 87% of the time
- 1:32Speaker 2: last year, and you said yesterday... He voted 90% of
- 1:45Speaker 2: the time with Republicans. But the Zionist lobby poured huge
- 1:49Speaker 2: amounts of money in the race to oust a Republican
- 1:53Speaker 2: who votes with the Republicans almost every time. And Ted
- 1:58Speaker 2: was wrong. He said 75% of the time. But now
- 2:02Speaker 2: the Republican Party is 100% the party of Israel and
- 2:08Speaker 2: of pedophile protectors.
- 2:10Speaker 4: And Ron..
- 2:11Speaker 2: Also, 70% of farmers in the latest poll say they
- 2:16Speaker 2: can't afford to grow food because of the high cost
- 2:20Speaker 2: of fertilizer because of the Iran war. But NVIDIA is
- 2:26Speaker 2: about to report earnings any minute now, and that could
- 2:29Speaker 2: drive the market even higher. Now, I got good news
- 2:34Speaker 2: for Donald Trump. Donald Trump... has more than 3,600 trades
- 2:41Speaker 2: were made between January and March 26 in Trump's personal accounts. Now,
- 2:47Speaker 2: the cumulative value of trades ranged from $ 220 million to
- 2:52Speaker 2: $ 750 million because federal ethics disclosures require broad valuations rather
- 3:00Speaker 2: than specific figures. But Trump, you know what he's doing?
- 3:05Speaker 2: He's buying the Mag 7, and he's also way overweighted
- 3:11Speaker 2: in companies that deliver the hardware for AI. And, Ron,
- 3:16Speaker 2: Trump is personally hyping his stocks. On May 8th, he
- 3:20Speaker 2: told people to go out and buy Dell, and Dell
- 3:24Speaker 2: surged 14.6% and made an all-time high. It's more than
- 3:29Speaker 2: doubled now. Now, Ron... I would like to tell Trump
- 3:36Speaker 2: that here's what. If you're going to buy stocks, the
- 3:41Speaker 2: best way for your stocks, AI stocks to go up
- 3:45Speaker 2: in price, is end the wars in the Middle East.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Because every time Wall Street thinks these wars are going
- 3:53Speaker 2: to end, what happens? The stock market surges.
- 3:58Speaker 3: There you have it. Are you done?
- 4:00Speaker 2: No. Do you want me to be done? Sure.
- 4:04Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Now, Ron, we've known each other for such a long time.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I mean, we've talked to each other for such a
- 4:14Speaker 2: long time.
- 4:15Speaker 3: But there's times that I will disagree with you.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Listen, I am the first guy to say, in agreement
- 4:20Speaker 1: with you, I think a great American was defeated last
- 4:23Speaker 1: night in Mass. He's losing that election. I agree with G2.
- 4:26Speaker 1: He's a conservative. First and foremost, he is a conservative.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Trump has a beef with Massey on three issues. Well,
- 4:34Speaker 1: he would have a beef with a lot of people
- 4:36Speaker 1: on it. Those three issues are the Epstein files, the
- 4:39Speaker 1: war in Iran, and stopping all foreign aid.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Well, guess what? I agree with Massey on all three
- 4:48Speaker 3: of those issues.
- 4:50Speaker 5: So..
- 4:51Speaker 1: I voted for Trump three times. I would vote for
- 4:54Speaker 1: a Democrat, period, because they're just lunatics. But I'm looking
- 4:58Speaker 1: at a president that's attacking anybody who disagrees with anything.
- 5:03Speaker 3: He stands for.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Well, I do not agree with keeping the Epstein files
- 5:08Speaker 1: closed and secretive and not exposing it. I am totally
- 5:11Speaker 1: opposed to that. And I think it's a double standard
- 5:14Speaker 1: of justice.
- 5:16Speaker 3: And I try to figure out why he did that 180.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Do you agree that now Margie Taylor Greene and Massey
- 5:24Speaker 2: are gone? Any chance of seeing the Epstein files by
- 5:29Speaker 2: the general public is now zero?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yes, I do agree with that. Unfortunately, I do agree
- 5:36Speaker 1: with that. And I think any real debate on certain
- 5:39Speaker 1: foreign policies will be nil and void because of the
- 5:43Speaker 1: fear of the lobbyists.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Ron, I told you last week there was a CEO...
- 5:49Speaker 2: of a large bank that says that he considers human
- 5:53Speaker 2: capital to be low-value capital. That's why he's going to
- 5:58Speaker 2: fire thousands of workers and replace them with the AI. Now,
- 6:03Speaker 2: in economics, the factors of production are land, labor, and capital.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And I told you, Ron, 36 years ago, I include
- 6:13Speaker 2: human brainpower or human capital which I believe is by
- 6:17Speaker 2: far the most factor of production of all. So what
- 6:22Speaker 2: these guys are saying, by the way, Larry Fink gave
- 6:26Speaker 2: a speech at the University of Arizona the other day,
- 6:30Speaker 2: which he was pushing A.I. and he was roundly booed
- 6:36Speaker 2: by the graduates of the university. You saw that?
- 6:39Speaker 4: Okay.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now, this is what they are saying, him and Lex
- 6:43Speaker 2: Wexner and all these A.I., guys like Larry Fink, that
- 6:49Speaker 2: AI can replace human capital and human brainpower. I'm not
- 6:55Speaker 2: sure if that's possible. I think you're always going to
- 6:58Speaker 2: need human brainpower, but maybe they're correct. Maybe they can
- 7:03Speaker 2: replace me and you.
- 7:05Speaker 3: We shall see.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Stocks rally back as rates and oil fears ease. Dow
- 7:09Speaker 1: jumps more than 600 points.
- 7:11Speaker 3: All right, Frank. Appreciate it. NewsRadio 570.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Hey, one time Bobby from Austintown called me a troublemaker.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Well, in that case, it wasn't name-calling. It was identifying you.
- 7:28Speaker 3: That's my chosen pronoun. I think he also referred to
- 7:33Speaker 3: you as a muckraker.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I was glad to hear that. I have a little
- 7:42Speaker 4: problem spelling it, but we'll straighten it out. Ron, you've
- 7:49Speaker 4: been talking to Frank for 104 years. So when did
- 7:54Speaker 4: you guys first start talking about the Epstein files or
- 7:57Speaker 4: Epstein in general, a pedophile, pedophile island, Lolita Express? When
- 8:02Speaker 4: did you guys start talking about this?
- 8:04Speaker 1: I have absolutely no clue. I mean, if you're asking
- 8:08Speaker 1: me what month and what day, I don't know.
- 8:12Speaker 4: How about a year? How about a year?
- 8:16Speaker 1: I can't. At some point, it all blends together. We're
- 8:19Speaker 1: talking about Epstein. Obviously, we've been talking about that before
- 8:23Speaker 1: he killed himself. How long ago has that been? How
- 8:29Speaker 1: long has it been since the story's been out there?
- 8:32Speaker 3: I mean, it's been around for years.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Years. So, like, 1997 is years ago? That's a lot
- 8:42Speaker 4: of years.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I mean, it depends.
- 8:44Speaker 1: If you want to go back to the original case,
- 8:46Speaker 1: I think out of Florida, when the original case and
- 8:50Speaker 1: then the case after that, I think people became more
- 8:52Speaker 1: familiar with it, I would say, several years ago, a
- 8:58Speaker 1: couple years ago on a timeline.
- 9:00Speaker 3: People became familiar with Epstein.
- 9:03Speaker 4: And the reason I bring it up is I don't
- 9:06Speaker 4: know what the hell was going on, but it was
- 9:08Speaker 4: the mid into the late 90s when I was hearing
- 9:14Speaker 4: about it going, what the hell's going on? Who's this
- 9:16Speaker 4: Epstein character? But so the big cheese of the FBI
- 9:22Speaker 4: who might have been looking at this was Robert Mueller
- 9:25Speaker 4: at the time, right? You said that the case was
- 9:30Speaker 4: brought in Florida. Oh, who was the governor of Florida
- 9:34Speaker 4: at that time, Ron? Was that Jeb Bush? Who was
- 9:38Speaker 4: the president of the United States at that time? It
- 9:41Speaker 4: was George W.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Bush.
- 9:44Speaker 4: So I just crack up when I hear the people talking,
- 9:49Speaker 4: and I'm going, whoa, whoa, whoa. Where were you? Where
- 9:54Speaker 4: were you, Massey, in 2012? Oh, you weren't paying attention.
- 9:59Speaker 4: to this, I guess. You weren't standing up and shouting
- 10:03Speaker 4: about it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The first criminal case against Jeffrey Epstein began in March
- 10:08Speaker 1: 2005 when Palm Beach, Florida, police launched an investigation after
- 10:12Speaker 1: a local couple reported that he molested their 14-year-old daughter
- 10:16Speaker 1: at his mansion. So it goes back to 2005.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Well, it goes back further than that with Bill Clinton,
- 10:21Speaker 4: but go ahead.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Listen, I'm just telling you what it says, all right?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I don't know when Bill Clinton was involved or any
- 10:28Speaker 1: of this nonsense. I can only tell you when it
- 10:30Speaker 1: became really noticeable to the vast majority of people as
- 10:35Speaker 1: to what's going on, and that's been over the last
- 10:37Speaker 1: couple of years, all right? I mean, most people probably
- 10:40Speaker 1: weren't aware of this stuff in 2005 or how he
- 10:43Speaker 1: got this pass back in the original case with the
- 10:47Speaker 1: Attorney General.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Or the local federal attorney.
- 10:52Speaker 4: No, the attorney general, you're right.
- 10:56Speaker 1: In the original case that happens, whatever year that was.
- 11:01Speaker 4: So can you can you look up on your Google
- 11:03Speaker 4: machine when Donald Trump called the police about Epstein?
- 11:06Speaker 1: No, I can't, because that's always it's always some degree
- 11:11Speaker 1: of speculation. It's speculated that I have heard that he
- 11:14Speaker 1: was the one Epstein felt he was the one who
- 11:16Speaker 1: called the police on him. But I don't know. I mean,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I don't know what is we can debate it all, all,
- 11:23Speaker 1: all along. All I'm saying is release the damn files. Listen,
- 11:28Speaker 1: I don't know why there's any debate on this other
- 11:32Speaker 1: than I agree with the people that it's a double
- 11:34Speaker 1: standard of justice. I don't give a damn if Trump's
- 11:38Speaker 1: in them or not in them. It doesn't matter to me.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Release the files. I don't believe they will ever be
- 11:45Speaker 1: released and it will continue to be covered up. And
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think that's unfortunate because the masses that you want
- 11:52Speaker 1: to attack or the Marjorie Taylor Greene or the people
- 11:55Speaker 1: that are supporting that..
- 11:57Speaker 3: And remember, Trump.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Ran on that. He ran on that issue. And these
- 12:02Speaker 1: people supported that issue. And in the blink of an eye,
- 12:06Speaker 1: Trump changed his opinion.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Why did he change it? I don't know.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Did they have something on him? Was he worried about
- 12:13Speaker 1: something coming out? Why did he change all of a sudden?
- 12:17Speaker 1: I don't know. Should I believe Elon Musk who said
- 12:21Speaker 1: he'll never expose the Epstein files because he's in them?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Remember when Elon Musk said that?
- 12:26Speaker 3: I don't know. Is that true or false? I don't know.
- 12:29Speaker 3: But you've got.
- 12:31Speaker 1: To sit back as an American and say, there's a
- 12:32Speaker 1: damn cover-up going on here. I mean, I don't know
- 12:36Speaker 1: where you want to go, what year this, what year that,
- 12:38Speaker 1: Massey this, Massey that. I give Massey credit, Marjorie Taylor
- 12:41Speaker 1: Greene credit, or any of these other people that say,
- 12:43Speaker 1: you ran on it. You said you would put it
- 12:46Speaker 1: all out there. Pam Bondi said it was on her desk,
- 12:50Speaker 1: and they reversed themselves on it. So put the stuff
- 12:53Speaker 1: out there.
- 12:53Speaker 3: I don't get it.
- 12:57Speaker 4: So a guy does something. So how much of the
- 13:00Speaker 4: Epstein files were released so far?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Not all of them. A lot of it, but not
- 13:06Speaker 3: all of it.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Okay, okay, so this guy, this one guy, did something.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to parade around with the people,
- 13:15Speaker 4: not take them to the police station or take them
- 13:17Speaker 4: to a lawyer. She wants to parade around with them,
- 13:20Speaker 4: making a show of it. Same thing with Massey.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You're attacking, you as a Republican or whatever, are attacking
- 13:27Speaker 1: people that say they want it all released.
- 13:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 13:31Speaker 3: In which it all should be released.
- 13:32Speaker 4: You did nothing about it. You did zero zilch about it.
- 13:36Speaker 4: This guy did something.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Not enough.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Probably more than half.
- 13:42Speaker 3: But not enough. What did he run on?
- 13:45Speaker 1: Don't you think you have the ability to say to yourself,
- 13:48Speaker 1: why the sudden reversal?
- 13:51Speaker 4: Well, and here's my deal. This is just me. I've
- 13:56Speaker 4: been hearing about it since 1997, okay? And none of
- 14:02Speaker 4: those people did a darn thing about it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And what president ran on it? Did any of them
- 14:11Speaker 1: run about releasing the FC files? Trump, it was one
- 14:15Speaker 1: of the things he was running on. I mean, is
- 14:19Speaker 1: it wrong for people?
- 14:20Speaker 4: Because nobody has done anything about it.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And he hasn't done enough.
- 14:25Speaker 4: And he hasn't done enough. And it's just funny that, right,
- 14:29Speaker 4: we pick out one guy, the only man who did anything.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Because we're talking about the Epstein files. When were the
- 14:36Speaker 4: Epstein files, I don't know, put together? When did we
- 14:39Speaker 4: know we had the Epstein files? For Trump to say,
- 14:44Speaker 4: I'll release them, right? So it must have been, oh,
- 14:47Speaker 4: I don't know, before Trump was elected the second time,
- 14:50Speaker 4: would you say?
- 14:52Speaker 3: We're just going around in circles. I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Did he do what he said he wanted to do?
- 15:00Speaker 6: All right.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I mean, we're just going in a holding pattern here.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He did not do what he said he wanted to do.
- 15:08Speaker 4: That's fine. That's fine. I accept that.
- 15:11Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And that is what the beef is with the conservatives
- 15:15Speaker 1: who say you ran on this. Why the reversal? Hey,
- 15:18Speaker 1: Pam Bondi, why the reversal? All of a sudden, she's gone.
- 15:22Speaker 4: And that's fine. How about this? Stand by.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Stand by. Stand by. We'll come back with more with
- 15:30Speaker 3: Jake in a minute. Hang in there. Youngstown's News, Weather,
- 15:35Speaker 3: and Talk Station, 570 WKBN. All right, back to it.
- 15:40Speaker 3: News Radio 570 WKBN. Ron Ferb, you're on the air.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Go ahead. So it comes down to this. Listen.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It comes down to here's what he ran on and
- 15:50Speaker 1: what he stood for. And so release the damn files.
- 15:54Speaker 1: You understand there's an issue here. There are victims here.
- 15:58Speaker 1: These are children that were molested by these individuals. Whether
- 16:02Speaker 1: it's Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, I don't know. But we
- 16:06Speaker 1: know Gates got divorced. We know his wife cited that
- 16:10Speaker 1: as part of the reason or implied it was. He
- 16:14Speaker 1: claims he was with prostitutes. We know the situation with
- 16:19Speaker 1: Prince Andrew that's going on. We know that there's always
- 16:24Speaker 1: questions about Epstein's suicide that has taken place in the
- 16:29Speaker 1: pictures of Clinton. And I'm not saying because you were
- 16:34Speaker 1: by Epstein that makes you guilty. But let's get to
- 16:39Speaker 1: the bottom of this and stop this double standard of justice.
- 16:43Speaker 1: And I don't think we will ever get to the
- 16:45Speaker 1: bottom of it. And that will disappoint a lot of
- 16:47Speaker 1: people who voted for Trump for that reason to stop
- 16:51Speaker 1: the deep state or whatever you want to call it
- 16:54Speaker 1: from covering this kind of stuff up. We all as
- 16:57Speaker 1: Americans should be offended that the intelligence community from whatever
- 17:01Speaker 1: country would engage in activities like this to try to
- 17:05Speaker 1: get dirt on somebody using children. That alone is disturbing
- 17:11Speaker 1: to me. But the fact is... We're not holding these
- 17:15Speaker 1: people accountable.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Why?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Because of their money and their influence? Well, I don't
- 17:19Speaker 1: know how to score that other than that's a double
- 17:21Speaker 1: standard of justice, and it's wrong. And so he ran
- 17:24Speaker 1: on that. I would like to see that released. Pam
- 17:26Speaker 1: Bondi said the thing she said, and none of that materialized,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and she's long gone now. So I don't think you're
- 17:33Speaker 1: ever going to see it. I don't think you will
- 17:35Speaker 1: ever get to the.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Bottom of this.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I don't know that you'll ever see anybody actually prosecuted
- 17:41Speaker 1: for it.
- 17:42Speaker 3: For crimes against children. And that is sad.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Call me to help out. I'll be glad to help out.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That is sad to me. It is absolutely sad. So
- 17:52Speaker 1: why does a guy with these great political instincts do
- 17:55Speaker 1: a 180 on this where I was shocked to see
- 17:57Speaker 1: him when he's championed all this. And all of a sudden,
- 18:00Speaker 1: in the blink of an eye, he says to that reporter, oh,
- 18:02Speaker 1: that's old news. You still dwelling on that? Like all
- 18:04Speaker 1: of a sudden, we should stop thinking because the almighty
- 18:07Speaker 1: Trump said something and only think what he thinks. He's
- 18:12Speaker 1: getting to the point where if you don't agree with
- 18:14Speaker 1: him on everything, if you actually have an opinion that's
- 18:18Speaker 1: different than his, you're scum. If you don't agree on
- 18:21Speaker 1: everything he does, and I don't go along with that
- 18:25Speaker 1: when it was the Democrats and Biden, and I won't
- 18:28Speaker 1: go along with it with the Republicans. If you don't
- 18:31Speaker 1: have the ability as a representative to think about your
- 18:33Speaker 1: district and think about where you stand on these issues,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and if you don't agree with the president, you should
- 18:39Speaker 1: disagree with him and stand your ground.
- 18:42Speaker 4: So his premier legislation, the big, beautiful bill, he calls
- 18:47Speaker 4: Massey and says, dude, need your vote on this, because
- 18:50Speaker 4: otherwise the tax breaks and stuff will sunset if we
- 18:53Speaker 4: don't get enough votes. And he says, go pound salt.
- 18:56Speaker 4: And we look back to the election. So is it
- 19:00Speaker 4: a bigger issue with the border or Epstein? During the election.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Well, no, you look back at what Massey said. He said,
- 19:09Speaker 1: I'm not going to support the Big Beautiful Bill because
- 19:12Speaker 1: of the massive government spending and the debt deficit. Remember,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you had the conservative coalition. that was overwhelmingly opposed to
- 19:21Speaker 1: it because it wasn't cutting government spending. We're kicking the
- 19:23Speaker 1: can down the road again.
- 19:25Speaker 6: Enough.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Add in enough.
- 19:27Speaker 4: It wasn't cutting spending enough. And I agree.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So that's why Massey didn't support it. So we want
- 19:32Speaker 1: to hang him out as a result of it? We
- 19:35Speaker 1: want to say..
- 19:36Speaker 4: You've got to play ball. That's why Rand Paul's father,
- 19:40Speaker 4: Ron Paul, had to change to be a Republican so
- 19:43Speaker 4: he could.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Be in the game. All right, so go ahead and
- 19:49Speaker 3: make your point. and then I'll move.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Along. I'm just asking you to understand that I was there. Whatever,
- 19:57Speaker 4: 15 years before this all happened and people started talking
- 20:02Speaker 4: about it again, I was already there and nobody did anything.
- 20:06Speaker 4: All the establishment, the communist James Comey, FBI, Robert Mueller,
- 20:12Speaker 4: who's dead now. And James Brennan, the other communists, they
- 20:17Speaker 4: did nothing about it. And along with Mitt Romney, all
- 20:21Speaker 4: the loudmouth people who think they are something. And you're
- 20:26Speaker 4: always yelling about Amy Acton, and I would, too, because
- 20:29Speaker 4: she's a loser. But you say that she quit. What
- 20:32Speaker 4: did MTG do? Didn't she quit?
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yes. And did I criticize her for it?
- 20:38Speaker 4: I don't remember.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I said she should fill out her term and then
- 20:45Speaker 1: let somebody else run for it. Now, she claims she
- 20:47Speaker 1: quit because she was concerned about her safety. And I
- 20:51Speaker 1: also understand that as well. But I would have completed
- 20:55Speaker 1: my term if I was her.
- 20:58Speaker 4: But before she quit, she made the top three list
- 21:02Speaker 4: in the website where you look at how much money
- 21:05Speaker 4: they made in the stock market. Yeah, her and Dan
- 21:08Speaker 4: Crenshaw were in the top three with Nancy Pelosi. It
- 21:13Speaker 4: just bothers me a little bit. Like, okay, you're this
- 21:17Speaker 4: superhero of the downtrodden, but you're kind of making money
- 21:22Speaker 4: on the side there, aren't you?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Okay, so what do you want to do?
- 21:31Speaker 4: I'm just saying, these people give you their character... and
- 21:37Speaker 4: some people aren't accepting it. You know, Tucker Carlson with
- 21:44Speaker 4: all his insane stuff about demons and how he hates
- 21:48Speaker 4: Christians more than anybody, and all the stuff that he says,
- 21:53Speaker 4: and he lies, and the stupid New York Times has
- 21:55Speaker 4: to remind him that he lies and play it for
- 21:58Speaker 4: him right in front of his face because he's lying.
- 22:03Speaker 4: I don't get why we're following these people. And it's okay.
- 22:09Speaker 4: I appreciate that Trump did something about the Epstein files,
- 22:13Speaker 4: and other people don't appreciate that he did something, and
- 22:17Speaker 4: no one else did anything. Nobody else did anything except grandstand.
- 22:22Speaker 4: And the grandstand is 20 years too late. Whatever.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 22:26Speaker 4: That's all. Hey, Ron, I'll say like Emanuel says, I'll
- 22:30Speaker 4: say like J.J. says, and J.J., God dang it, it's
- 22:34Speaker 4: opening a can of worms, not a bag of worms, J.J.
- 22:37Speaker 4: All right.
- 22:39Speaker 3: See ya. You're on the air.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Hello?
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 22:43Speaker 6: Hey, Ted called me today, and he said that you
- 22:50Speaker 6: might be suffering from NDS, Netanyahu derangement syndrome.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I see. Okay. Is there a cure?
- 23:00Speaker 6: Interesting concept, right?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Is there a cure?
- 23:04Speaker 6: I don't know. For Fort Lauderdale, Frank, I don't know.
- 23:07Speaker 5: But, you.
- 23:09Speaker 6: Know, him and the Zionist Jews, I hear him say
- 23:14Speaker 6: that one more time. Yeah, he's got a problem with
- 23:19Speaker 6: the Jews. But anyhow, getting back to Ted. He was
- 23:25Speaker 6: talking about the Tea Party.
- 23:30Speaker 5: You there?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm listening.
- 23:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:33Speaker 6: All right. Remember, I think it was a Democrat you
- 23:37Speaker 6: voted for, Obama. You know, he set the government out
- 23:42Speaker 6: to destroy the Tea Party. Remember that?
- 23:45Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 23:45Speaker 6: Nobody listens to that, right?
- 23:50Speaker 3: Oh, I remember it.
- 23:52Speaker 6: Yeah, but how many times do you hear about it anymore?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Well, you know, time moves on.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I mean, for God's sakes, I mean, it's like time
- 24:00Speaker 1: does march on from when Obama was there. I mean,
- 24:05Speaker 1: what are we supposed to still talk about it? I
- 24:07Speaker 1: mentioned it's today. I mean, I mentioned when they sick
- 24:10Speaker 1: the IRS after reporters or did them on a tea party.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I mean, I remember it. I'm not going to talk
- 24:16Speaker 1: about it every day. It was back when Obama was president.
- 24:19Speaker 3: What do you want me to do?
- 24:21Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I just..
- 24:22Speaker 6: These liberals bring all this stuff up from the past,
- 24:25Speaker 6: but they never mention any of this. But Trump, you know,
- 24:29Speaker 6: they're talking about maybe he's making deals for his family.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Yes.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Did you hear about that?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Well, maybe he's just trying to make a point. You know, like,
- 24:41Speaker 6: if they could do it, I could do it, too.
- 24:43Speaker 6: So he'll just make all these deals for his family,
- 24:46Speaker 6: all right? And they'll get rich, and then when.
- 24:49Speaker 4: He leaves office..
- 24:51Speaker 6: He'll follow the precedent that Joe Biden, and he'll just
- 24:57Speaker 6: pardon his whole entire family, all his friends, 30 years.
- 25:01Speaker 5: You know what?
- 25:02Speaker 6: He did it, so why can't he?
- 25:06Speaker 3: Well, there's always that possibility.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I mean, it's a possibility. You're just going to have
- 25:13Speaker 1: to wait and see.
- 25:13Speaker 6: I mean, they, you know.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Let me put it this way to you.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I don't support if Trump's kids are making a bunch
- 25:22Speaker 1: of money because of who their father is any more
- 25:26Speaker 1: than I supported it with Hunter Biden making a bunch
- 25:29Speaker 1: of money because of who his father is. So it
- 25:32Speaker 1: doesn't justify in my mind. I don't care if it's
- 25:35Speaker 1: a Democrat or Republican. It doesn't make one doesn't make
- 25:38Speaker 1: the other right. So if you were opposed to it
- 25:41Speaker 1: when it was Hunter Biden, if Trump's kids are making money,
- 25:44Speaker 1: you should be opposed to it in that scenario as well.
- 25:48Speaker 1: You just can't say, well, it's my team now, so
- 25:51Speaker 1: all of this stuff is okay. I mean, as I started,
- 25:54Speaker 1: am I concerned about the fact that, if I bring
- 25:58Speaker 1: it up again, that we're this deal with Trump's IRS settlements?
- 26:07Speaker 3: I get it.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with him saying, okay, we're
- 26:09Speaker 1: going to put together this fund for people that are,
- 26:14Speaker 1: let's see, they put the nine-page agreements together. DOJ released
- 26:17Speaker 1: Monday setting up a $ 1. 8 billion fund to compensate victims
- 26:21Speaker 1: of alleged weaponization of law enforcement. I don't have a
- 26:26Speaker 1: problem with that. I think that there are many people
- 26:28Speaker 1: that were the victims of this for political purposes, including
- 26:33Speaker 1: people on January 6th that were victims of this for
- 26:36Speaker 1: political purposes.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I think we've all witnessed that.
- 26:39Speaker 1: So I think if there's a fund to compensate people
- 26:42Speaker 1: for that, I don't have a problem with it. The
- 26:45Speaker 1: only problem I have in this agreement is where it says,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and keep in mind, the attorney general is Trump's former lawyer.
- 26:55Speaker 1: So the only problem I have in this agreement includes
- 26:58Speaker 1: a sweeping release under which the IRS is forever barred
- 27:03Speaker 1: and precluded from pursuing examinations of Trump related or affiliated individuals.
- 27:09Speaker 1: That means his family and related trust and businesses. So
- 27:13Speaker 1: basically the IRS is forever barred and precluded from pursuing
- 27:19Speaker 1: examinations of Trump's tax returns ever or his family members ever.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Or his trust, or his businesses ever.
- 27:28Speaker 1: That I find bizarre. Now, I mean, I think that
- 27:33Speaker 1: that's really odd. Would I say that's okay if Joe
- 27:36Speaker 1: Biden did that? No. I would say, well, wait a minute.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Why are you and your whole family exempt from this?
- 27:45Speaker 1: I wouldn't approve of that if Biden did that for
- 27:47Speaker 1: his whole family. So am I supposed to say that's
- 27:50Speaker 1: okay because it's Trump and I voted for Trump and I'm... No,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I'm not going.
- 27:55Speaker 3: To do that.
- 27:57Speaker 6: Don't get me wrong. I feel the same way. I
- 28:00Speaker 6: don't think either party should do it. But if he gets,
- 28:04Speaker 6: if he does, you know, do it, then they try
- 28:10Speaker 6: to say something. At least he'll expose the fact Joe
- 28:15Speaker 6: Biden did it, so why shouldn't he? He'll bring the
- 28:18Speaker 6: problem to light.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I think he's just trying to.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Solve a problem while getting his family rich, possibly. No,
- 28:27Speaker 6: I think, you know, what are they going to say? Oh, yeah,
- 28:32Speaker 6: Joe Biden didn't do any of this. He didn't pardon
- 28:34Speaker 6: his kids or anything after he said he wouldn't.
- 28:38Speaker 4: You know.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I get what you're saying, but it doesn't make it right.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm not going to be a damn hypocrite and criticize
- 28:45Speaker 1: it when Biden and the Democrats did it and say
- 28:47Speaker 1: it's okay when the Republicans do it. I mean, I'm
- 28:53Speaker 1: the first guy that says when the Democrats are there
- 28:55Speaker 1: that once again, they're going to walk in lockstep. They're
- 28:58Speaker 1: going to check their brain at the door. Well, it
- 29:00Speaker 1: was my biggest criticism of Tim Ryan. He stopped representing
- 29:04Speaker 1: his community. He stopped being a he started being a politician.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Whatever Nancy Pelosi said is what they did. Do you
- 29:10Speaker 1: think that was admirable? He got so out of touch.
- 29:14Speaker 1: He became such a politician and so much with the party.
- 29:17Speaker 1: He failed to represent his district. Well, I don't think
- 29:21Speaker 1: we should be punishing people that are in our party
- 29:25Speaker 1: that disagree with the president on a war, that disagree
- 29:29Speaker 1: with the president on Epstein, that disagree with the president
- 29:32Speaker 1: on foreign aid. I think that's a discussion worth having
- 29:38Speaker 1: and that we should be able to disagree on that.
- 29:40Speaker 1: It doesn't make you less of a Republican or that
- 29:42Speaker 1: we should run you out.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Of the party.
- 29:46Speaker 6: Do you think that they should impeach a president more
- 29:50Speaker 6: than once and Get them on five criminal charges?
- 29:54Speaker 1: No, I do not. But if that's what the Democrats do,
- 29:59Speaker 1: that's what they do. But I wouldn't support it if
- 30:02Speaker 1: the Republicans were doing that either. I mean, if you're
- 30:05Speaker 1: asking me, should we do that because they do that?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Does that make it right? Well, if it irritates me
- 30:10Speaker 1: when they do that, why should I compromise myself and say, well,
- 30:14Speaker 1: it's okay now.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Let's just lower our standards. Is that what you want?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Do I want a congressman that becomes nothing but a
- 30:23Speaker 1: pawn for whatever the Republican Party tells him to support?
- 30:27Speaker 1: That he gets elected, but he's not making decisions using
- 30:30Speaker 1: his own brain power. He only does what the Republicans
- 30:33Speaker 1: tell him to do. Or what Trump tells him to do.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I mean, why do I like Fetterman? Because Fetterman doesn't
- 30:42Speaker 1: always go along with his party. Well, I think that's
- 30:46Speaker 1: okay for Republicans to be that way, too.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Well, you were.
- 30:51Speaker 6: Bringing up, you were talking about January 6th, you know,
- 30:55Speaker 6: this whole thing where, you know, Trump is basically compensating
- 31:02Speaker 6: people who had to get lawyers and everything. They could
- 31:06Speaker 6: find a grandma halfway across the country, but they couldn't
- 31:10Speaker 6: find who had the cocaine in the White House under
- 31:12Speaker 6: Joe Biden. I mean, come on. There's obvious corruption going
- 31:17Speaker 6: on here, and the deep state went after anything that
- 31:20Speaker 6: anybody that disagreed with them. And I don't think that's right.
- 31:25Speaker 6: I agree.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I'm in total agreement with you.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I don't think it's right to seek the IRS on
- 31:32Speaker 1: Democrats or Republicans, period. I don't think that's what these
- 31:37Speaker 1: agencies are for. I am at the point where To
- 31:42Speaker 1: show you how I always thought, if I go back
- 31:46Speaker 1: years ago, it seemed to me it didn't matter what
- 31:48Speaker 1: a judge was, what party, Democrat or Republican, that they
- 31:51Speaker 1: pretty well ruled on the law and what was in
- 31:53Speaker 1: front of them. Somewhere along the line in my lifetime,
- 31:57Speaker 1: that changed. Somewhere, somehow, that changed. to where all of
- 32:02Speaker 1: a sudden politics became involved. I think if you go
- 32:05Speaker 1: in front of a judge, you should be judged. It
- 32:09Speaker 1: shouldn't matter if you're a Democrat or Republican or if
- 32:11Speaker 1: that judge is Democrat or Republican. That should have nothing
- 32:14Speaker 1: to do with the case that's presented to them. It
- 32:17Speaker 1: has to do with justice. But anymore, that isn't what's
- 32:21Speaker 1: happening now. And I find that deeply disturbing. I don't
- 32:31Speaker 1: support it. I absolutely don't support it. And am I
- 32:36Speaker 1: supposed to now? If the Republicans do it, am I
- 32:40Speaker 1: supposed to say, well, now that's okay because the Republicans
- 32:44Speaker 1: are doing it?
- 32:45Speaker 6: No. You have to find people that will interpret the
- 32:51Speaker 6: Constitution and all the amendments right down to the wire,
- 32:56Speaker 6: you know?
- 32:57Speaker 1: I mean, I think that this woman that Biden put
- 33:00Speaker 1: on the Supreme Court is a ding-a-ling.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 33:04Speaker 1: And I think she's an absolute ding-a-ling. But do I
- 33:06Speaker 1: support Biden saying, well, I've got to put a woman
- 33:08Speaker 1: on and it's got to be a woman, it's got
- 33:10Speaker 1: to be a black female? No, I think that's racist.
- 33:13Speaker 1: You've eliminated everybody else from consideration because she has to
- 33:17Speaker 1: be a black female. And when you look at it,
- 33:19Speaker 1: you're saying this is a great legal mind that belongs
- 33:22Speaker 1: in the Supreme Court?
- 33:23Speaker 3: The answer to that is absolutely not.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I wouldn't support that anymore if the Republicans would do
- 33:28Speaker 1: something like that. Find somebody that's going to come in
- 33:32Speaker 1: and view it from a constitutional standpoint, not a political
- 33:36Speaker 1: standpoint of I'm a liberal or a conservative. You're there
- 33:39Speaker 1: to interpret the law and the Constitution. That's all I'm
- 33:42Speaker 1: looking for. That's all I want.
- 33:46Speaker 6: So this black woman he appointed to the court, how
- 33:50Speaker 6: did she get an identification? Can she even vote? And
- 33:54Speaker 6: she's on the court. I mean, what's this Democratic Party doing?
- 34:01Speaker 3: Well, that's a shining example. It's a shining example.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Am I supposed to sit back when the stock market
- 34:09Speaker 1: was soaring and Main Street was hurting and we criticized
- 34:14Speaker 1: it under Biden, high gas prices and all this kind
- 34:16Speaker 1: of stuff, that it's not okay to criticize it under Trump.
- 34:21Speaker 1: We're all supposed to say, oh, this is great, paying
- 34:23Speaker 1: $ 4. 75 a gallon. High energy prices are okay. I mean,
- 34:31Speaker 1: that's what my problem is with people is, see, some
- 34:35Speaker 1: of these Trump supporters, and I find them to be bizarre,
- 34:38Speaker 1: they have checked their brain at the damn door.
- 34:41Speaker 3: They stop thinking.
- 34:44Speaker 1: They criticized Biden when we had high fuel prices and
- 34:49Speaker 1: affordability issues, and they made excuses for it. Well, we're
- 34:54Speaker 1: right back with those problems, and you're hearing excuses again. Well,
- 34:58Speaker 1: that doesn't ease the pain that the citizens of our
- 35:00Speaker 1: country are suffering as a result of it. So am
- 35:04Speaker 1: I supposed to say, oh, high gas prices are okay
- 35:07Speaker 1: because Trump decides he wants to go after Iran? I'll
- 35:11Speaker 1: be the first guy to say I was not staying
- 35:13Speaker 1: up at night worrying about Iran and a nuclear weapon.
- 35:18Speaker 1: And I think Trump got into a mess and it's
- 35:22Speaker 1: taken much longer than he thought it would. And he's
- 35:25Speaker 1: in a quagmire and he's going to have to try
- 35:27Speaker 1: to figure out what to do now and how to
- 35:30Speaker 1: get out of this.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Right, but how long has Trump been president? Like a
- 35:35Speaker 6: year and a half? I mean, just thinking he shut
- 35:37Speaker 6: down the border immediately.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I understand all that. I'm not talking about that. I
- 35:41Speaker 1: don't have a problem with that. I'm not against Trump.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I'm against some of the stuff that Trump has done.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I mean, don't you get it? I mean, I can
- 35:52Speaker 1: hash the border. And frankly, to be blunt with you,
- 35:55Speaker 1: I think he should be doing more on the border.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I don't think he's.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Pursuing it as aggressively as he should be right now.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I think you've seen it curtail since Minnesota. So, yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 1: he was getting the border shut, but he needs to
- 36:10Speaker 1: get these people out of the country. But you don't
- 36:12Speaker 1: see that aggressively happening anymore now, do you?
- 36:16Speaker 3: What happened to that?
- 36:17Speaker 6: He's got so much on the table. Just like this
- 36:20Speaker 6: ballroom thing, everybody's complaining. He's probably not even going to
- 36:23Speaker 6: enjoy it. If you look back at the..
- 36:30Speaker 1: Stand by. Just stand by. Back with him and more
- 36:33Speaker 1: in a minute. Stay tuned.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Radio 570, WKBN.
- 36:37Speaker 1: This is Radio 570, WKBN. And Ron Furb onward we go. Okay,
- 36:42Speaker 1: go ahead with what you were saying.
- 36:45Speaker 6: With my rant. All right. How about if I switch
- 36:48Speaker 6: it up?
- 36:49Speaker 1: No, but do you understand what I'm saying? You can't have...
- 36:53Speaker 1: What I'm saying is... The people that were criticizing stuff
- 36:57Speaker 1: under Biden, all of a sudden Trump gets a pass
- 37:00Speaker 1: on it because they're Republicans or Trump. Well, that isn't...
- 37:06Speaker 1: You're checking your brain at the door. That is ridiculous.
- 37:10Speaker 1: If you're critical of it... I'm sitting here, I believe,
- 37:13Speaker 1: in America first. I believe affordability is a major factor
- 37:18Speaker 1: right now in this economy.
- 37:21Speaker 3: And I think... High gas prices do matter.
- 37:25Speaker 1: And I think the economy would be far better off,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and Americans would be far better off, if he never
- 37:30Speaker 1: got involved in Iran. And I think Iran was a
- 37:33Speaker 1: huge mistake. And I think he's got a difficult situation
- 37:37Speaker 1: on how to get out of it. And what to do.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Because I think as this drags on, it just gets worse.
- 37:47Speaker 5: The jury..
- 37:48Speaker 6: Is still out on that for me. I think he
- 37:51Speaker 6: will find a way to resolve it and stay safe.
- 37:54Speaker 6: I truly believe that. I mean, he's pretty smart. But, hey,
- 38:01Speaker 6: my wife told me the other day, she goes, when
- 38:03Speaker 6: did you get done? And I told her, like, three
- 38:05Speaker 6: different things. And she goes, wow. I said, well, you know,
- 38:08Speaker 6: I set my goals high every day. If you set, like,
- 38:11Speaker 6: a goal, you know, like, doing ten things, you get
- 38:14Speaker 6: three done, you know, you're doing good. So she goes, yes.
- 38:18Speaker 6: You set your goals high, but your expectations low. What
- 38:23Speaker 6: do you think about that?
- 38:24Speaker 3: I think it's good because when you call, I always
- 38:26Speaker 3: have low expectations.
- 38:29Speaker 6: And then you're thinking, when's he going to go, right?
- 38:32Speaker 3: Well, you've got to go now, I know.
- 38:34Speaker 6: I think so.
- 38:35Speaker 3: All right, you're on the air.
- 38:38Speaker 5: Good afternoon, sir.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 38:42Speaker 5: I think the biggest takeaway that I have from what
- 38:46Speaker 5: happened with Massey last night is that if you're going
- 38:49Speaker 5: to go after the king, you better take him out.
- 38:54Speaker 5: Because if not, the king's going to come after you,
- 38:56Speaker 5: and he's probably going to win, because he's got more power,
- 38:59Speaker 5: more clout, and more tools in his arsenal than you do.
- 39:03Speaker 5: And I think the problem is, when you have a
- 39:07Speaker 5: Congress that is so closely divided, to the point where
- 39:12Speaker 5: you only, what do the Republicans have, three or four
- 39:14Speaker 5: or five seat margin at most? So when you've got
- 39:19Speaker 5: a couple people that just decide to vote their conscience,
- 39:22Speaker 5: and I agree with you. I mean, I like a
- 39:23Speaker 5: lot of what Massey stands for, and I applaud him
- 39:27Speaker 5: for that. However, when the rubber... it's time for the
- 39:30Speaker 5: rubber to hit the road, and you've got to get
- 39:31Speaker 5: stuff passed or not passed, and you've got people that
- 39:34Speaker 5: are going to vote their conscience and stand on principle
- 39:37Speaker 5: and obstruct what you're trying to get done legislatively, don't
- 39:41Speaker 5: be surprised when they come and take you out. And
- 39:44Speaker 5: I think that's what you saw last night.
- 39:47Speaker 1: What you saw last night was a guy that's never debated,
- 39:50Speaker 1: a challenger who never would debate the incumbents. You saw
- 39:54Speaker 1: a stealth Trojan candidate that you really don't know what
- 39:58Speaker 1: he believes in and what he stands for, other than
- 40:01Speaker 1: whatever Trump tells him. That's what was voted in last night.
- 40:07Speaker 1: And is that what you want representing you?
- 40:12Speaker 5: I'm not saying whether I want it or not. I'm
- 40:14Speaker 5: just saying that when the rubber hits the road and
- 40:16Speaker 5: a party has to get stuff passed legislatively, if there
- 40:20Speaker 5: were 30 or 40, if the Republicans had a much
- 40:23Speaker 5: larger margin, let's say the margin was a 20-seat margin,
- 40:27Speaker 5: you could afford to have the Rand Pauls and the
- 40:29Speaker 5: Massys and Marjorie Taylor Greens that sit there and say,
- 40:32Speaker 5: I'm standing on principle and I'm not going to vote
- 40:34Speaker 5: for this because the legislation is still going to pass.
- 40:37Speaker 5: But when you've got just a couple votes and you've
- 40:40Speaker 5: only got a couple people that are holding everything up,
- 40:44Speaker 5: your legislative agenda.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Stand by, stand by. Back with Richard Pharmacist. More of
- 40:48Speaker 1: your calls. We're here tonight till 6.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Stay tuned.
- 40:57Speaker 7: From ABC News, I'm Lindsay Davis, anchor of Prime, streaming
- 41:01Speaker 7: weeknights on ABC News Live. The Justice Department announcing charges
- 41:05Speaker 7: including murder against ex-Cuban dictator Raul Castro and several others
- 41:09Speaker 7: related to Cuba shooting down two relief planes in the
- 41:12Speaker 7: 1990s that killed three American pilots, acting Attorney General Todd
- 41:16Speaker 7: Blanch in Miami.
- 41:18Speaker 1: We expect that he will show up here by his
- 41:22Speaker 1: own will or by another way.
- 41:24Speaker 8: So what's next? ABC's Catherine Folders.
- 41:26Speaker 9: The question is, do they really go in, does the U.S.
- 41:28Speaker 9: really go into Cuba and do some... operation like they
- 41:32Speaker 9: did with Maduro, especially to capture a 94-year-old former leader.
- 41:36Speaker 4: So that's part number one.
- 41:38Speaker 9: And if he were to even stand trial, of course,
- 41:40Speaker 9: there are questions over his health. Also, it could take
- 41:43Speaker 9: years to get this before a jury, given that these
- 41:46Speaker 9: incidents were 30 years ago.
- 41:48Speaker 7: Two police officers who defended the Capitol in the January 6,
- 41:52Speaker 7: 2021 attack by Trump supporters are suing to stop creation
- 41:55Speaker 7: of the nearly $ 2 billion fund that could potentially compensate
- 41:58Speaker 7: rioters from that day. and others claiming harm by the government.
- 42:02Speaker 7: ABC's Peter Haralambos.
- 42:03Speaker 1: The officers allege the creation of the fund violated federal
- 42:06Speaker 1: law and the prohibition in the 14th Amendment barring the
- 42:09Speaker 1: government from funding insurrections.
- 42:11Speaker 7: Former Trump administration official Michael Caputo says he is requesting
- 42:15Speaker 7: $ 2. 7 million from the fund, claiming that he was targeted
- 42:18Speaker 7: in the Russia investigation. Lawyers for former FBI Director James
- 42:21Speaker 7: Comey are asking to delay his July criminal trial by
- 42:24Speaker 7: at least three months. Prosecutors are not opposing it. Comey's
- 42:27Speaker 7: accused of threatening to kill President Trump by posting a
- 42:30Speaker 7: photo of seashells arranged in the numbers 8647. An update
- 42:34Speaker 7: on the American missionary doctor who was working in Congo
- 42:37Speaker 7: and Africa and tested positive for the Ebola virus, Dr.
- 42:41Speaker 8: Satish Pailai with the CDC.
- 42:43Speaker 6: The American has landed in Germany and is at the
- 42:47Speaker 6: hospital and in stable condition.
- 42:49Speaker 8: That's the hospital at a U.S. airbase in Germany. You're
- 42:52Speaker 8: listening to ABC News.
