- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah, people would really like that.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Put it out at noone, Ah fools.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Do you guys ever pull an epic April fool was
- 6:00Speaker 1: prank on your parents or.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Any I never had any good ones. I don't even
- 6:04Speaker 3: think I ever really got fooled either.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Impervious to foolery.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I don't think I was ever fooled. And I definitely
- 6:11Speaker 3: did no fool laying. I know you probably did. You
- 6:15Speaker 3: throwing cactus at people, and.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Shit, you're a fool, You're a fooler.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I went in and at midnight and told my parents
- 6:21Speaker 1: that I forgot about a homework assignment that I had,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and they got pissed off, and then I was like,
- 6:26Speaker 1: April fools, the master is struck again.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Holy shit, at midnight?
- 6:29Speaker 1: You did it right after midnight?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah that's a power move. How old were you eighteen?
- 6:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:33Speaker 1: It was probably my late college. I was in grad school.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think.
- 6:38Speaker 3: You called your parents at two am.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You fucking missed your homework again, Adam fried my ass
- 6:46Speaker 1: Adam Road.
- 6:48Speaker 4: That's it, you're coming home.
- 6:50Speaker 3: You go to military school.
- 6:52Speaker 1: The gravy train's over. I wish I rode the gravy train.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I did no riding of the gravy train. I should
- 6:59Speaker 1: have of no.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Neither, Francis. How you doing.
- 7:05Speaker 4: A little loopy today? Not a lie. Something's going on
- 7:09Speaker 4: like having a hard time with my balance, a little
- 7:13Speaker 4: bit kind of wobbly.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Are you concussed?
- 7:16Speaker 4: No, No, that's never a good one. No, I know.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I just feel very almost almost as if I'm on drugs.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Do you know any drugs this weekend? No, Francis.
- 7:31Speaker 4: You know what I did do? I went to Florida
- 7:36Speaker 4: in My mom's birthday was on She's two days after mine,
- 7:41Speaker 4: so very nice Friday.
- 7:43Speaker 1: She must have been pissed.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Yeah, let's put it this way. Had it been the
- 7:47Speaker 4: other way around, it would have been a lot worse
- 7:49Speaker 4: for the family if my birthday had come two days
- 7:53Speaker 4: after hers.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 4: So my dad was performing in a talent show. What
- 8:02Speaker 4: was his talent? He was reciting a Winston Churchill speech.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Why it's all starting to make sense now, Yeah, this
- 8:10Speaker 3: is really.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Focus because he does this. He memorizes Winston Churchill speeches
- 8:15Speaker 4: and then he recites them. That and fucking monologues from
- 8:20Speaker 4: like Henry the Fifth War stuff. So he's a history
- 8:24Speaker 4: he loves history, and he loves good writing.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, good speeches, and.
- 8:28Speaker 4: He does that. He does it. He just breaks out
- 8:30Speaker 4: into it. Nobody asks did he win? Nobody says, hey,
- 8:34Speaker 4: you don't know any Winston Churchill, do you? You don't know? Now,
- 8:38Speaker 4: it wasn't a contest. It was sort of a variety show,
- 8:43Speaker 4: got it? And then the island was Boca Grant that's
- 8:48Speaker 4: where they have a place, and it was called Boca
- 8:52Speaker 4: Grand's Got Talent and it was all There were two
- 8:55Speaker 4: MC's and then various.
- 8:57Speaker 3: People came like comics.
- 8:59Speaker 4: No, nobody did stand up. Everything was kind of in
- 9:03Speaker 4: the vein of the show. So my dad had to
- 9:07Speaker 4: come up from the audience and interrupt the MC's because
- 9:12Speaker 4: they had a bad hurricane, which I've told you guys,
- 9:14Speaker 4: parents lost their home and so they were talking about
- 9:19Speaker 4: the hurricane. And then my dad came up and had
- 9:23Speaker 4: gently adapted this Winston Churchill speech to be more rousing
- 9:27Speaker 4: about rebuilding the island from the hurricane rather than fighting
- 9:34Speaker 4: off the Nazis.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Of course, did people fuck with it?
- 9:39Speaker 4: Oh, he got a big, big applause, nailed it, didn't
- 9:43Speaker 4: miss a line. He was pretty nervous about it.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Sounds awesome, sounds like your dad was leading the charge.
- 9:49Speaker 4: He was a good one. He was a good act.
- 9:52Speaker 4: They did The Real Housewives of Boca Grand with a
- 9:56Speaker 4: guy who was playing sort of an Andy Cohen moderator.
- 10:01Speaker 4: That was very funny because it was for beautiful women.
- 10:04Speaker 4: And then one cross dresser guy and he was very funny. Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 4: lots of golf puns. There was a guy who in
- 10:12Speaker 4: the middle sang a song he had written for a
- 10:16Speaker 4: musical many years prior, and he Oh, that's me. Hm,
- 10:27Speaker 4: can you guys talk for a minute. I need to
- 10:28Speaker 4: take this.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I'm sorry, totally fine.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Holy shit. It must be nice being like old and
- 10:37Speaker 1: rich as fuck and then still having like a hobby.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, where people are like gonna applaud you.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Well, it's crazy for him to just drop that on
- 10:44Speaker 3: a bit and then leave that. His dad recites Winston
- 10:48Speaker 3: Churchill and then but he rewords them towards the tragedies
- 10:52Speaker 3: that have affected him and his friends to.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Rile people up. My initial instinct was to hate on it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: But it's like, if you're an older like you need something,
- 11:02Speaker 1: you need a thing, and if it's nice for the
- 11:04Speaker 1: people around. It's like, well why not? What's wrong with it?
- 11:08Speaker 4: Exactly?
- 11:09Speaker 1: That's the hater in me.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Bro.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I need to fucking kill the hater. Peak Florida season
- 11:13Speaker 1: two right now.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Great time to be out in Florida.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I know half the office was down there last week.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Every woman at barstool was down in Florida this past
- 11:22Speaker 1: weekend and paid a fucking bag.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I'd imagine, Oh yeah, big time, big time. Do you
- 11:27Speaker 3: think they're going. Do you think people go now because
- 11:29Speaker 3: of spring break? They want to get some some young cock?
- 11:33Speaker 1: I think so, right, I think that's the best time.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Well, isn't that like like it's always a thing like
- 11:38Speaker 3: freepy dudes will go down to spring break still.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Like Francis's dad. Like Francis, he's at the fucking Fort Lauderdale,
- 11:46Speaker 1: like the three tiered bar with his arm up posted
- 11:49Speaker 1: on a wall. As reciting Churchhill to.
- 11:52Speaker 3: A coed, I never had a spring break?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Can I go once more into your breach, dear friend?
- 12:00Speaker 1: I don't know if that's Churchill? You never went on one, nah,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I never did it. We used to go.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I mean I only was in school for he dropped
- 12:08Speaker 3: out before spring break was even a thing.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we would go everything good. We would go
- 12:14Speaker 1: to Lauderdale by the Sea, but we wouldn't even like
- 12:17Speaker 1: my friend's aunt had like a place that we would
- 12:20Speaker 1: go to. It wasn't like a fucking rowdy spring break.
- 12:23Speaker 1: We go play golf and shit, it wasn't crazy. So
- 12:27Speaker 1: it's where'd you leave off this?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Well, this guy in the middle of the show sang
- 12:31Speaker 4: a song that he'd written for a musical. And I
- 12:35Speaker 4: don't know if it was a Broadway musical or what,
- 12:37Speaker 4: but you know, it was a really lovely song. And
- 12:39Speaker 4: he's standing up there and he's it's not obvious that
- 12:43Speaker 4: he's super old. He was ninety one, and he sang
- 12:49Speaker 4: with so much feeling and it was very earnest and sweet.
- 12:52Speaker 4: It was almost moving. Guess what this guy did in
- 12:55Speaker 4: his life. He's an inventor.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Oh, okay, to post it invented no, no, no, I
- 13:01Speaker 3: don't say it was a clue.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Crass macaroni and cheese, the elbow of macaroni.
- 13:06Speaker 4: He invented two products that are very products, things that
- 13:11Speaker 4: are very popular with children.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Okay, the lego, no close director sets Lincoln logs.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Oh I like those guesses, but no, one's a game.
- 13:24Speaker 4: I'll give you a Connect four No, sorry, trouble. It's
- 13:29Speaker 4: a very physical game, twister, ringo. He invented twister, Jesus,
- 13:36Speaker 4: and he invented NERF, NERF footballs, NERF balls, maybe all
- 13:43Speaker 4: of NERF.
- 13:44Speaker 3: So is he a billionaire?
- 13:45Speaker 4: I think he's pretty well off. Yeah, oh my god.
- 13:48Speaker 1: People are playing Twister, Yes they are.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Can you imagine being ninety one and being able to
- 13:55Speaker 4: look back on your life and say, my business accomplishments
- 13:59Speaker 4: what I did are the most absolute joy bringing things
- 14:05Speaker 4: one could have done. Yeah, nobody could ever dight him.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Does that bring joy? I think they can bring some sadness.
- 14:15Speaker 1: There's definitely a shame element. There's no shame in most
- 14:18Speaker 1: Twister games.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Nobody ever finishes a game of Twister and says, I
- 14:21Speaker 4: gotta get my life together. I really wish this was
- 14:24Speaker 4: a real human being.
- 14:28Speaker 3: What if you have a really embarrassing game of Twister
- 14:30Speaker 3: like you, like you don't even make it after round two?
- 14:33Speaker 4: Yeah, you play a co ed game and the girls
- 14:35Speaker 4: realize you're only doing it to grope them.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Sure. Well then similar to the pocket Well, do you
- 14:41Speaker 4: think he knew that it would turn into such a
- 14:43Speaker 4: freaky ass game he has it. Oh people play. Oh,
- 14:50Speaker 4: they freaked it, they freaked it.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I think that this guy, I mean maybe, I don't know.
- 14:54Speaker 1: He's a book of a tone. Man.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Some things you just got to leave for the kids.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Well, the same thing happened with nerf Right. Have you
- 15:00Speaker 4: ever seen a woman's stuff one up? No, the whole football?
- 15:03Speaker 1: You ever see the ladies football on the propeller on
- 15:08Speaker 1: the back.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they whistle and it whistles out, whistles, Yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 4: she queeps it out. That's where that song make that
- 15:13Speaker 4: posty where where Drake came from.
- 15:16Speaker 1: She's shooting nerves.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Oh, man, that's devastating. They got to leave some of
- 15:21Speaker 3: that ship for the kids.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Yeah, well he said so, I don't know. I guess
- 15:25Speaker 4: maybe he wrote musicals too. But he sang this song.
- 15:28Speaker 4: It was unbelievable. And he's ninety one. I just I
- 15:30Speaker 4: love this guy. The of the song, heartfelt Sweets, it was.
- 15:35Speaker 4: It felt like something that would have played during the
- 15:38Speaker 4: opening ten minutes of that film Up. Oh, I love
- 15:42Speaker 4: that movie. You ever see it? Yeah, the first ten
- 15:45Speaker 4: minutes they're incredibly sad. That's what this felt like. Yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 4: it was like an incarnation.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yeah, of that.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Character singing the song to his dead wife. Interesting, before
- 16:00Speaker 4: he attaches a bunch of balloons to his house.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And before he finds fat Stephen Chay to come along
- 16:06Speaker 1: with him.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I've never finished up, honestly, really, I think all I
- 16:11Speaker 1: saw was the beginning.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Oh, that movie's so good.
- 16:14Speaker 4: It's good. Squirrel he makes that's not up, that is,
- 16:20Speaker 4: remember that he makes the thing for his.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Dogs, his dogs.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Oh, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right, And all.
- 16:24Speaker 3: It says is just squirrel.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Yeah, he keeps getting distracted, right, Yeah, that's hilarious.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Good gag the adults.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I mean, how many weeks without spoiling white Lotus for
- 16:37Speaker 1: you and then immediately spoil so fucking selfish rules for
- 16:43Speaker 1: thee and not for me.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I guess the show ninety percent of the way through
- 16:50Speaker 4: in the middle of the Real Housewives of Boca grand One,
- 16:54Speaker 4: where my godfather, by the way, was doing the He
- 16:58Speaker 4: was the Andy Cohen character, and he's very theatrical and
- 17:03Speaker 4: got a lot of stage presents. One of the moderators,
- 17:06Speaker 4: someone came up to her on the side one of
- 17:08Speaker 4: the MC's and whispered something to her and she stopped
- 17:12Speaker 4: the sketch in the middle and said, I'm really sorry.
- 17:16Speaker 4: And this is the kind of thing that had been
- 17:17Speaker 4: happening the whole time, where they were like, I'm sorry,
- 17:20Speaker 4: we have we have an urgent announcement like blah blah blah,
- 17:24Speaker 4: and it was part of the show. Yeah yeah, But
- 17:25Speaker 4: she goes, I'm really sorry, like this is really important.
- 17:28Speaker 4: This isn't part of the show. Is there a doctor here?
- 17:32Speaker 4: So there a doctor in the house. Quite literally, is
- 17:34Speaker 4: there a doctor in the house. That's what everyone says.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Nobod ever, nobody ever says like do we have a
- 17:39Speaker 4: doctor available? Yeah?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:42Speaker 4: And on an island in Florida among well to do
- 17:46Speaker 4: people where there were two hundred plus people in the audience,
- 17:51Speaker 4: not a single doctor. Really, can you believe that?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Well, I've heard that, especially on the plane situation, a
- 17:56Speaker 1: lot of doctors will like wait until the last second
- 17:58Speaker 1: to see if there's another doctor because they don't want
- 18:00Speaker 1: to have to wait for the ambulance to do all
- 18:03Speaker 1: the paperwork and have to report to everybody. So I
- 18:07Speaker 1: think there could have been just some doctors sitting on
- 18:09Speaker 1: their hands being like I'm not ruining my night.
- 18:11Speaker 3: There also probably was there was probably some doctor adjacent people,
- 18:14Speaker 3: but maybe no one that actually practiced. Probably someone who like,
- 18:17Speaker 3: you know cotton, Yeah, like the Sacklers.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Yeah, the Sacklers are definitely down there. I'm not a doctor.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Are they in pain?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Because you know there is an epidemic on pain right now,
- 18:30Speaker 3: we're fighting the war on pain.
- 18:32Speaker 4: I've got something that is no way addictive. How much?
- 18:37Speaker 4: How many years left would you say that?
- 18:39Speaker 1: Mister Viagra was there.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Talked them out on one hundred and fifty milig.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Do they need to get rock hard right now?
- 18:48Speaker 4: So they they they stopped the show, and I thought
- 18:53Speaker 4: that that was going to be to ruin the show. Yeah, right,
- 18:58Speaker 4: because it was real. Yeah, something bad had happened. Everyone
- 19:02Speaker 4: immediately presumed heart attack. Everyone kind of looking around. Obviously.
- 19:07Speaker 4: They brought the house lights up. Jesus, it was bad.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Was it inside or outside? Inside?
- 19:11Speaker 3: I was picturing outside this entire time.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 19:14Speaker 3: I don't know either.
- 19:15Speaker 4: It wasn't ancient Greece.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I was picturing like an outside stage.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I was picturing an amphitheater.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what he was thinking.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Amphitheater, amphitheater, amhitheater, amphitheater.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Amphie, it's a phone.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Oh okay, I got it pronouncing it wrong my whole life.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Say it right.
- 19:32Speaker 4: You've been saying AMPI.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I've been saying amphitheater, amphitheater, Amphi. I didn't know it
- 19:37Speaker 3: was amphitheater like amphibious. Yeah, that's my bad. Would have
- 19:40Speaker 3: got that two ways. Probably I would guess that that
- 19:44Speaker 3: root is amphi. Yeah, meaning of two.
- 19:48Speaker 4: So say it.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I'm not going to say it like that because you
- 19:51Speaker 3: can't say it because you don't.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You have a speech impediment, and you can't say anphitheater.
- 19:55Speaker 4: You have a speech impediment. You're the one that said amphitheater.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Don't cash like me, bro fucking kick you in your head.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Let's move on here, Yeah, let's move on.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Sorry, Sorry about that, Francis, sorry about I'm sorry. Both
- 20:08Speaker 3: are here literally something someone on the wrong side.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Of the personal that he has going on. You can't
- 20:14Speaker 1: just say the word that. I guess.
- 20:15Speaker 4: This is a really weird, he said. He said, kind
- 20:18Speaker 4: of get it.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Three weeks out from kids coming into your life.
- 20:21Speaker 4: It's stressful. But you don't have to bring that to
- 20:23Speaker 4: the podcasking about his kids already.
- 20:26Speaker 1: They easily easily will kick you in the head too,
- 20:30Speaker 1: No problem. I'll throw a kid at you, no problem.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Just kids not being named here anymore. You lost it.
- 20:40Speaker 1: It is, got shave the kids. They won't even be
- 20:42Speaker 1: Harry two Francis's.
- 20:44Speaker 3: I got the text the other night.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Frank and Frank, Harry.
- 20:47Speaker 3: And Harry Jr. They're both being named Harry.
- 20:50Speaker 1: No, not after.
- 20:50Speaker 4: That's crazy. How would one of them be junior?
- 20:54Speaker 3: It's just whatever one comes out second, Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Exactly, but that would imply that the other one is
- 20:58Speaker 4: the father.
- 20:59Speaker 3: No senior or just og.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Again, that's what that means. Harry first, Harry second, Harry
- 21:07Speaker 4: one Harry two numerals. That works.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Yeah, but we did want to work in a juniard
- 21:12Speaker 3: at some point, so.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Holy shit.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Anyway, the house lights come up.
- 21:18Speaker 4: House lights come up. That took us a long time
- 21:21Speaker 4: to get to the house lights to get out of that,
- 21:23Speaker 4: not really probably.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Like probably realistically, like one and a half minutes.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I enjoyed it, though, tasty Jesus purposely obstinate.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Yeah, you got that one. Obstinate. No, I'll have to
- 21:36Speaker 4: look at one up to go over your head. Continue.
- 21:39Speaker 4: So the house lights come up, and everyone looks around
- 21:43Speaker 4: and then they try to resume the show, and I thought,
- 21:45Speaker 4: boil boy, that'll be That'll be the death knell of
- 21:50Speaker 4: this whole show. There's no way people will come back
- 21:53Speaker 4: into a mirthful mood to laugh at whatever's happening on
- 21:58Speaker 4: stage after finding out that someone probably know just had
- 22:01Speaker 4: a heart attack. Right, that's the presumption, dude. These people
- 22:04Speaker 4: were dialed back in so fast, so fucking fast. And
- 22:10Speaker 4: then my godfather had the wit to say to bring
- 22:15Speaker 4: everyone back. He goes, well, it wouldn't be Boca grand
- 22:18Speaker 4: if we didn't have that interruption of needing a doctor
- 22:22Speaker 4: for a heart attack. Yeah, Like he was like, that's
- 22:24Speaker 4: not the first time one of these shows. He said
- 22:26Speaker 4: something like that. That was perfect. Everyone laughed. They were
- 22:29Speaker 4: right back in hell.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 4: And you do realize that when you do, when you
- 22:33Speaker 4: are hanging out among a group of elderly people like that,
- 22:37Speaker 4: and it's a talent show. We're gathering two hundred plus people,
- 22:41Speaker 4: there's a pretty good chance someone's gonna have a heart attack.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I never found out when we walked out the show
- 22:47Speaker 4: ended ten minutes later. There were two fire trucks there
- 22:50Speaker 4: in an ambulance. So that's what I was doing. I
- 22:52Speaker 4: never found out. That's crazy. I try to respect, yeah, privacy.
- 22:57Speaker 4: We had a h I was.
- 22:59Speaker 3: I had a flight when I was coming home from
- 23:03Speaker 3: somewhere last week. I don't remember, Oh when I was
- 23:06Speaker 3: coming home from Seattle or Portland. Had they had paramedics
- 23:11Speaker 3: had to come on the flight?
- 23:12Speaker 4: Really? Yeah, when you landed, when we landed, but you
- 23:14Speaker 4: didn't have to do an emergency land.
- 23:15Speaker 3: We'd have to do emergency land, which was surprising because
- 23:17Speaker 3: they came over the speaker like an hour into like
- 23:19Speaker 3: a five hour flight, and there was there a doctor
- 23:22Speaker 3: on board? No, And then we just did the next
- 23:25Speaker 3: four hours and then they were like, the paramedics have
- 23:27Speaker 3: to come on. And then it was just an old guy.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Is there a doctor on board? No? How about a guitarist?
- 23:35Speaker 4: Do we have a cattle driver in seat thirteen? No?
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yeah, but they it was just an old dude. And
- 23:47Speaker 3: he was fine, he's just dead. No, he was fine,
- 23:49Speaker 3: he walked off the plane completely fine.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Pilot trying to organize a game of like murders. Yeah,
- 23:55Speaker 4: it's gonna be a long flights to see what sort
- 23:58Speaker 4: of occupations we have.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Here, Any lawyers, any ranchers.
- 24:04Speaker 4: I need a kindergarten teacher and an unruly student who
- 24:11Speaker 4: would like to play the mischiefs little elf.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Do you think if you're a paramedic, that's something that
- 24:18Speaker 3: you dread or enjoy the storming of a of an
- 24:22Speaker 3: A three eighty as you as it as it hits
- 24:25Speaker 3: the runway.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I think if you're working at the airport, you know
- 24:28Speaker 1: that that's the deal. Like, that's all the airport paramedics
- 24:33Speaker 1: get to do.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Probably, why would you dread it? Though? What do you mean?
- 24:37Speaker 3: Well, it's kind of like they're they're front and center.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I could see getting a little stage right from that,
- 24:42Speaker 3: getting little nervous.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Forgetting the beat of staying alive.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean like, yeah, like the plane lands, you
- 24:48Speaker 3: have two hundred people on a plane that desperately want
- 24:51Speaker 3: to get off of the plane.
- 24:53Speaker 4: It's yeah, but a paramedic comes on. I don't know
- 24:55Speaker 4: anyone who's such a dick as to be like me.
- 24:58Speaker 3: First, No, I don't mean that you've got a connection.
- 25:01Speaker 3: That's not what I mean. I mean, like, do you
- 25:03Speaker 3: think the paramedics are like because you get on that plane,
- 25:05Speaker 3: it's you're pretty much on stage, yes, but everyone is
- 25:10Speaker 3: looking right at you with the Everyone's like, who is it,
- 25:13Speaker 3: who's the guy that's gonna with me?
- 25:14Speaker 4: The benefit of everybody in the plane, you know, admiring
- 25:21Speaker 4: you and and being probably relieved to see you and saying,
- 25:27Speaker 4: finally the experts here. Yeah, it's not like comedy where
- 25:33Speaker 4: that guy could then bomb the resuscitation. Everyone is like,
- 25:38Speaker 4: by this fucking guy.
- 25:39Speaker 3: He could he could mangle it, well, he.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Could, but we probably wouldn't know, you know, he just
- 25:45Speaker 4: mangles the rhythm. He's dead. Yeah, he's dead since Iowa.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Dude, his eyes were open thirty seconds.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Why didn't you guys land earlier?
- 25:55Speaker 1: Worse?
- 25:55Speaker 3: What did you do?
- 25:56Speaker 1: He wanted to get off.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Did anyone hold his elf closed? What's going on here?
- 26:02Speaker 3: It was though we had to come on and one
- 26:04Speaker 3: of them seemed like he was a little nervous, and
- 26:06Speaker 3: the other one was like a showman. He was like, yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 3: I just don't worry. We're gonna be quick, all right.
- 26:12Speaker 1: You guys like Winston Churchill. Yeah, So who won the
- 26:18Speaker 1: talent show?
- 26:19Speaker 4: Again? It wasn't a competition.
- 26:21Speaker 1: It was sort of just a like a vaudevillian Yeah.
- 26:24Speaker 4: One to the next. It was great. It was really good.
- 26:27Speaker 4: There were some really talented people, And I did think that,
- 26:31Speaker 4: you know, again, a lot of these people were advanced
- 26:33Speaker 4: in age, and I thought that the preparation for this
- 26:38Speaker 4: show and to do some sort of line memorization and
- 26:42Speaker 4: all that the rehearsals. What a good thing, What a
- 26:45Speaker 4: good thing. I'm always looking for ways to stave off dementia.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Oh yeah, and I think that memorizing lines is a
- 26:52Speaker 4: good way to do that.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Definitely, any sort of memorization just activating the brain.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Trivia meeting, well, it's great. Perhaps do you think that
- 27:03Speaker 1: a lot of people in the audience felt like a
- 27:04Speaker 1: need to be charitable audience members and like kind of
- 27:08Speaker 1: something that's not that funny, but you realize that this
- 27:10Speaker 1: might be the last laugh that some one ever gets.
- 27:13Speaker 4: No, because one person really bombed. Oh they really really bombed.
- 27:19Speaker 1: And then pretended to die afterwards. I gotta get out
- 27:25Speaker 1: of heretick. I actually need the ambulance and to fire
- 27:34Speaker 1: trucks and wake up, sit up in the ms.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Now keep going five more blocks. Who what was their act?
- 27:41Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say because I don't want to. I'm
- 27:43Speaker 4: sure they don't, but I don't want to discredit. But
- 27:48Speaker 4: they were trying to be funny, and it went on
- 27:51Speaker 4: and on, and nobody was laughing. Nobody, really, nobody, I'm
- 27:56Speaker 4: telling you nobody. It was as if people didn't get
- 27:59Speaker 4: that they were trying to tell us.
- 28:01Speaker 1: What they did.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Was this person like I won't Was this person like
- 28:04Speaker 3: a new person in the community.
- 28:05Speaker 4: They weren't that old?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Were they hot?
- 28:08Speaker 3: Like they just made they just made the age minimum.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Leave this open, let this, let this be vague. Dying
- 28:17Speaker 4: they've said too much, And he told the story about
- 28:20Speaker 4: the guy almost dying.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Song stand up not doing it.
- 28:25Speaker 4: They were doing.
- 28:25Speaker 3: They were doing improv for black people.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Can I get a place?
- 28:32Speaker 1: Can I get a skin condition? Florida?
- 28:35Speaker 3: Fucking idiot?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Psiiasis.
- 28:40Speaker 4: All right, I got one more thing, which is that
- 28:43Speaker 4: I was supposed to fill my prescription. I had filled
- 28:46Speaker 4: my prescription right before I left, right, and I forgot.
- 28:51Speaker 3: You could have just skipped the whole the whole live
- 28:55Speaker 3: concert thing and just gone to this, oh you don't
- 28:57Speaker 3: know where this is withdrawing from well be trend.
- 29:01Speaker 4: I forgot to pick up the new prescription, right, So
- 29:03Speaker 4: I went down there with no pills, noel butch and
- 29:07Speaker 4: you can transfer it though I had to. I then
- 29:12Speaker 4: called a pharmacy in Florida and asked them if they could.
- 29:19Speaker 4: I had my doctor call them and put in an
- 29:21Speaker 4: emergency you know, ten pills, Yeah, yeah, holdover. But the
- 29:25Speaker 4: insurance company denied that refill because they had just done
- 29:29Speaker 4: the one in New York. So then the one in
- 29:33Speaker 4: Florida said, you need to call your pharmacy in New
- 29:35Speaker 4: York and have them send the pills back so that
- 29:37Speaker 4: we can then fill. It was a very challenging thing,
- 29:41Speaker 4: but she was on her game right, So I had them.
- 29:44Speaker 4: I called them and had to leave a voicemail in
- 29:46Speaker 4: New York and then she called me back and was like, okay,
- 29:49Speaker 4: we'll send it back. And then the woman in Florida said, well,
- 29:52Speaker 4: since this is only a ten pill refill and you
- 29:54Speaker 4: still have a fifty dollars copay, do you want me
- 29:56Speaker 4: to just expand it by calling your doctor to the
- 29:58Speaker 4: full month? You're going to pay the same kope. And
- 30:01Speaker 4: I was like okay, sure, And she handled all that
- 30:04Speaker 4: and I went and picked it up that day. Let
- 30:06Speaker 4: me tell you something, I was so fucking impressed by
- 30:12Speaker 4: the pharmacist at this place in Florida.
- 30:15Speaker 1: So amazing they get a good pharmacist.
- 30:17Speaker 4: It occurred to me, if there is a place in
- 30:21Speaker 4: America where you're going to get the top of the
- 30:25Speaker 4: line pharmacists.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Oh, it's got to be Florida.
- 30:28Speaker 4: It's Florida.
- 30:28Speaker 11: Yeah, it's Boca Gardens, specifically Boca Grand They have been
- 30:33Speaker 11: fucking dealing with heart of hearing people who are pulling
- 30:37Speaker 11: out shopping receipts instead of prescriptions.
- 30:40Speaker 4: And I don't know. My last month it was this.
- 30:45Speaker 4: They are the best of the best. These are battle hardened,
- 30:49Speaker 4: tried and tested pharmacists.
- 30:52Speaker 1: There used to be one at City Chemist in Dumbo.
- 30:56Speaker 4: I used to get my stuff felt down.
- 30:57Speaker 1: This woman named Stephanie. Oh my god, she was the
- 31:00Speaker 1: best pharmacist. Nice, discreet, she would be proactive about getting
- 31:06Speaker 1: stuff refilled. You didn't have to do anything. She's a
- 31:09Speaker 1: mass She probably moved down to Florida. She probably got
- 31:11Speaker 1: called up to the big leagues.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Honestly, was it Stephanie with a pH or enough? It's
- 31:15Speaker 4: probably pH in which case to Harry would be Stephanie, Stephanie.
- 31:20Speaker 1: You got a You got ninety seconds to get a
- 31:22Speaker 1: derailed on this one chat?
- 31:24Speaker 4: Is that Stepanie? To you? Do you call her step
- 31:26Speaker 4: for short? Your step sister I'm laughing.
- 31:29Speaker 3: I'm laughing. I'm amused.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's funny because like, wasn't to really call it back together.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Wasn't Florida one of the epicenters of the Sackler stuff, Like,
- 31:43Speaker 1: wasn't like a lot of weren't a lot of the
- 31:45Speaker 1: pharmacies that were.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I think it was easier to get a prescription down there.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because they were were probably just like pretend to
- 31:52Speaker 1: be an old person.
- 31:53Speaker 3: I think you just had to like fuck the doctor
- 31:54Speaker 3: or some ship. Yeah, it's probably happens in dope sick. Yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 3: it was the Broward County boys. It was probably just
- 31:58Speaker 3: nicky smokes.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking the doctor, yeah, fucking pharmacy Stephanie.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yeah, pick up a couple oxy coffins.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Pharmacy, Stephanie, a.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Couple oxy eighties. Not funny, bro, that's what they call them,
- 32:12Speaker 3: oxy coffins.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Oh, I know, Bro, she's not funny.
- 32:14Speaker 4: It is.
- 32:15Speaker 1: We've had a lot of soldiers lost to those fucking things,
- 32:18Speaker 1: and you think it's funny doing them. No, I'm doing
- 32:22Speaker 1: tiling all with Cody Dumbassi.
- 32:27Speaker 4: It all with Cody. What are you?
- 32:28Speaker 3: What are you crushing up the time? I'm pouring it
- 32:30Speaker 3: into the codine.
- 32:32Speaker 1: It's coded and codin. You don't ship. You've never done
- 32:36Speaker 1: a fucking hard drug in your life. You've been on
- 32:38Speaker 1: the straight and arrow.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I do hard drugs all the time.
- 32:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to help you out.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Bro, What are you talking about?
- 32:46Speaker 3: You know I do hard drugs.
- 32:50Speaker 1: You know I love that ship. You know I cannot function.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here if I wasn't doing about drugs.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Bro, take that back. I love oxy.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Look between my toes, look at the track marks between
- 33:01Speaker 1: my feet.
- 33:01Speaker 4: No, Harry Ball, you don't do hard drugs, But at
- 33:04Speaker 4: what point is the amount of weed I considered a
- 33:08Speaker 4: hard drip?
- 33:08Speaker 3: Here we go again with this fucking propaganda.
- 33:11Speaker 1: What's your dispensary of choice? This papaganda is potaganda.
- 33:15Speaker 3: This potaganda.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I can't stop fucking reading this out of the corner
- 33:22Speaker 1: of my eye.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I've been getting fucking uh just destroyed online the last
- 33:27Speaker 3: forty eight hours.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Because of your terrible takes.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess. I mean, look, something you gotta consider
- 33:36Speaker 3: is a it's a comedy podcast.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Nope, we're not doing that.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Well. The one thing that bothered me, I will say,
- 33:43Speaker 3: I like I Yeah, I do do the left lane
- 33:45Speaker 3: camping thing that I'll admit that if.
- 33:47Speaker 4: You didn't show the last episode. He's referring to the
- 33:50Speaker 4: fact that we uncovered that Harry is a left lane
- 33:53Speaker 4: driver and in camps out in the highway and will
- 33:55Speaker 4: not move over if faster cars come up behind him.
- 33:58Speaker 3: This is it's not quite that. It's when I'm going
- 34:01Speaker 3: like twenty over.
- 34:04Speaker 4: You said ten over. I did not. You said you
- 34:07Speaker 4: said the speed them was seventy and you were going
- 34:09Speaker 4: eighty If I'm going eighty, If.
- 34:11Speaker 3: I said that, I was just saying that because I
- 34:12Speaker 3: didn't I didn't know people were I didn't know it was.
- 34:14Speaker 3: I think I was trying to beat around the bush
- 34:16Speaker 3: of speeding because I thought that was less socially acceptable
- 34:20Speaker 3: than going ten.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Oh. You know what we call this right now lying patchwork.
- 34:25Speaker 4: This is you patching up holes. What I will say
- 34:28Speaker 4: is not a permanent fix, It's a patch.
- 34:30Speaker 3: What I will say is the shopping cart thing was
- 34:33Speaker 3: the one that bothered me the most, because that was
- 34:36Speaker 3: I thought that was pretty clearly a joke. I haven't
- 34:38Speaker 3: been to a grocery store with where I've taken a
- 34:41Speaker 3: shopping cart outside in over six years.
- 34:45Speaker 4: I totally believe that, So.
- 34:47Speaker 3: I don't understand, like, yeah, where I'm bringing a shopping.
- 34:53Speaker 4: What am I cart?
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna wheel it back to my apartment.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I'm just gonna ride it downhill.
- 34:59Speaker 3: And and I haven't been to a sh I haven't
- 35:01Speaker 3: been to a grocery store with my parents in over
- 35:03Speaker 3: a decade. So the whole thing about me just letting
- 35:07Speaker 3: the cart fly down the kill and hitting other cars
- 35:10Speaker 3: was a joke. I do not do that. But people
- 35:13Speaker 3: were dming me like I'm gonna find you and I'm
- 35:15Speaker 3: gonna kill you, like straight up like that, which I've
- 35:19Speaker 3: realized too. If you just reply and you're like I'm
- 35:21Speaker 3: gonna find you first and I'm gonna kill you, usually
- 35:24Speaker 3: they reply back and they're like haha, just kidding.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Or they'll be like totally uncool man.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I was hitting people back with a lot of
- 35:31Speaker 3: those i'll find you first.
- 35:33Speaker 4: That's what it takes for you to respond to DM's
- 35:35Speaker 4: death threats.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I was replying just being like you better hope
- 35:39Speaker 3: I don't find you.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Wow. Yeah, they hit a nerve.
- 35:43Speaker 3: It was kind of that. It was more just bored,
- 35:45Speaker 3: just laying in bed.
- 35:47Speaker 1: But I do agree with that that like on a
- 35:49Speaker 1: on a level, people like will take things that we
- 35:52Speaker 1: say clearly in jest and be like little SATs is
- 35:57Speaker 1: actually a fucking scumbag.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah yeah, yea.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Not indicative of your character.
- 36:02Speaker 4: No, he was also.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole uh, which maybe maybe this is man,
- 36:08Speaker 3: I'm completely wrong about this, but the whole like the
- 36:11Speaker 3: whole privileged thing. And I don't understand how that played
- 36:13Speaker 3: a part at all. They were all like they were
- 36:16Speaker 3: like these this privileged fucking prick sitting in the left lane.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Anytime you say something that.
- 36:22Speaker 3: People that are are in like BMW or Audi I
- 36:26Speaker 3: eight's and they're going fucking nine hundred. I'm the privileged
- 36:29Speaker 3: one because I'm in a fucking Toyota Corolla.
- 36:31Speaker 4: You're you're I'm surprised at your confusion over this. This
- 36:36Speaker 4: is this is you. Anytime someone you say something that
- 36:39Speaker 4: people don't agree with, they'll just throw out the stuff. Yeah,
- 36:43Speaker 4: they'll throw all this stuff at you. Yeah. Anytime I
- 36:46Speaker 4: say something that people don't like, even if I'm like, boy,
- 36:49Speaker 4: I think blue is a nicer color than yellow, people
- 36:52Speaker 4: are like, that's what you would say because you're born
- 36:54Speaker 4: on fucking face, Yeah, I wish my dad taught me
- 36:58Speaker 4: that blue was better than yellow. Growing up, we had
- 37:00Speaker 4: no blue. Okay, it must be nice to have blue.
- 37:05Speaker 4: Everyone knows it's more expensive paint houses in blue. Those
- 37:08Speaker 4: children forty eight percent more likely to graduate with a degree.
- 37:12Speaker 3: It is pretty crazy, dude, Like, I like like, I
- 37:16Speaker 3: like we posted or the clip was posted the second
- 37:20Speaker 3: I started getting uh not kind messages about it. The
- 37:24Speaker 3: second I started getting them, I was like, they're gonna
- 37:26Speaker 3: post on the barstool main page one thousand.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Ye.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Not any other clips that we've had that have gone
- 37:32Speaker 3: like that have gotten like done well because they were funny.
- 37:36Speaker 3: They post the clip of me looking poorly.
- 37:38Speaker 4: It's but it's not that it was. It was a
- 37:40Speaker 4: it was a societal divisive topic. And for what it's worth,
- 37:46Speaker 4: there were a few people that agreed with you. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 4: so that's what it is you need. It's it's exactly
- 37:53Speaker 4: the same thing as my shoulder stopping thing.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Yeah I know, not really because that was more poor.
- 37:59Speaker 3: People were agreeing with you than disagreeing.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But fine, like you a hero. Nobody thought you're a hero.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Which this isn't.
- 38:04Speaker 3: This isn't like a hill that I'm gonna die on.
- 38:07Speaker 3: I don't give a fuck.
- 38:07Speaker 1: You drove in the middle lane.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't care.
- 38:09Speaker 4: But I also made it much more clear that I
- 38:12Speaker 4: was somewhat kidding, if not fully kidding. Yeah, I did
- 38:15Speaker 4: my thing by calling myself a hero.
- 38:17Speaker 1: And you were not kidding, if you, if you, and
- 38:20Speaker 1: this is a comedy podcast, right.
- 38:22Speaker 4: You weren't kidding, You were angry.
- 38:24Speaker 1: You chose it, You chose that moment.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Look, I don't like it justified your point.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Where are they going?
- 38:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and look like it doesn't really bother me that
- 38:32Speaker 3: much because, like I know in my head what I'm talking.
- 38:36Speaker 3: If I'm going sixty in the fast lane and someone's
- 38:39Speaker 3: riding my ass, I'm gonna get over.
- 38:41Speaker 4: And I didn't. That's not If I'm going to.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Eighty five in the fast lane and then there's a
- 38:45Speaker 3: dude behind me that's going one hundred and fifty, I'm
- 38:47Speaker 3: not going to get over because realistically, he's gonna fly
- 38:51Speaker 3: around me and then fly around someone else, and then
- 38:54Speaker 3: we're all gonna get caught in traffic because.
- 38:56Speaker 1: He's a whole different tune.
- 38:57Speaker 4: He's gonna wrap brought up a spackle yeah pretty soon.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's like like you see these cars
- 39:06Speaker 3: that are that are like I drive all the time.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I drive constantly. I'm always driving from city to city.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Ship like that. I don't wrap my car around a track.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I did not sound like someone who drives all the time.
- 39:17Speaker 4: I don't know, but I'm behind the wheel.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Why why are we defending these people that are driving
- 39:21Speaker 3: like like they're putting everyone else in danger?
- 39:24Speaker 4: Why?
- 39:24Speaker 3: Why is that the person that I'm supposed to be like, Oh, yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 3: excuse my manners. Let me get over to the right
- 39:29Speaker 3: lane for you so you can go two hundred miles
- 39:31Speaker 3: per hour.
- 39:32Speaker 4: This is a classic technique, by the way, where you
- 39:36Speaker 4: are now taking yourself away and pointing to a far
- 39:39Speaker 4: more nefarious cause.
- 39:41Speaker 3: But that's what it like. I when I drove home
- 39:43Speaker 3: from Stanford. Take when I drove home from Stanford. Every
- 39:47Speaker 3: I went Friday, Saturday, every night that I was going home,
- 39:50Speaker 3: it would be like the streets would be pretty empty.
- 39:52Speaker 3: The only other streets on the cars would be cars
- 39:54Speaker 3: that were like like like GTA five fucking brick dout
- 40:01Speaker 3: like BMW's going nine hundred miles per hour with like
- 40:04Speaker 3: no license played on the back. Those are the people
- 40:07Speaker 3: that I'm supposed to be like, oh, let me follow
- 40:08Speaker 3: the rules of the road and get over so that
- 40:10Speaker 3: you can go Tommy g Yeah, yeah, why.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Go from eighty to one twenty to one fifty to
- 40:16Speaker 1: two hundred miles an hour?
- 40:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:18Speaker 1: And am I supposed to get out of the way
- 40:20Speaker 1: just because they're going up the speed of light just
- 40:22Speaker 1: because they've cracked the sound barrier, because they go mock
- 40:25Speaker 1: genuinely about why.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Now you're gonna say it would actually be dangerous for
- 40:29Speaker 4: you to switch.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Because if you get switched lanes and they're weaving, then
- 40:32Speaker 1: you might it was simultaneously, which would have been.
- 40:35Speaker 3: But anyways, Yeah, that's all I had to say. I
- 40:37Speaker 3: don't fucking let shopping carts smash into And I apologize
- 40:41Speaker 3: to everyone who was like molested when they were working
- 40:43Speaker 3: at a fucking star market when they were thirteen, and
- 40:45Speaker 3: now they're furious with me. People are going being like,
- 40:49Speaker 3: you have no fucking idea how hard that job is
- 40:52Speaker 3: moving the carts. I'm not the guy to be mad at.
- 40:55Speaker 3: I wasn't actually throwing carts into the middle of.
- 40:57Speaker 1: The road, so you weren't the one molesting.
- 40:59Speaker 3: I wasn't molested. Also, Kansas City, I was never booked
- 41:03Speaker 3: to perform Kansas City. Stop fucking dming Kansas City. People
- 41:08Speaker 3: are so mad at me about Kansas City.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Hang on, I'm going to Kansas I.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Was never supposed to perform there.
- 41:14Speaker 4: I will be. If you'd like to come see a
- 41:15Speaker 4: comedian in Kansas City, come see me that. I am
- 41:18Speaker 4: going back to Kansas City. Not a minute, stop, but
- 41:22Speaker 4: I'm going to be there May second, and third. That's
- 41:25Speaker 4: when I'll be there at the Comedy Club of Kansas City.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Tickets at Punch Up Dot Live, Slash fr instance also Dallas.
- 41:29Speaker 3: After that, going I'm going back to Kansas City. I
- 41:34Speaker 3: talked to my agent last night. I don't know what
- 41:37Speaker 3: happened with that, but it was like the show was canceled.
- 41:41Speaker 3: It was never the show was never supposed to happen,
- 41:42Speaker 3: it was canceled. And then last night, I guess people
- 41:45Speaker 3: went to the show not knowing it was canceled. People
- 41:48Speaker 3: actually went yes, and I DMD A lot of those
- 41:51Speaker 3: people back because a lot of them were dming me.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I got DMS people being like, never gonna support you again,
- 41:55Speaker 3: hope you fail.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Yeah, a rough night of DM.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Rough night of DM.
- 42:00Speaker 4: A guy who doesn't ever check his DMS.
- 42:02Speaker 3: No, I have said that before I check. I read
- 42:04Speaker 3: every DM. I don't respond to any of them. I
- 42:06Speaker 3: was replying last night, though.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Boy don't you think that's a little not so man
- 42:11Speaker 4: of the people ish you'll read everything they say, but
- 42:14Speaker 4: keep them in the dark.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Well, if it's like something like that, I'm gonna reply.
- 42:18Speaker 1: What's your reply rate?
- 42:20Speaker 4: I don't know, probably like forty to fifty.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Of all dms that come in.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Well that's too much when people, No, I don't know.
- 42:29Speaker 4: I don't know the answer to that. I read most
- 42:31Speaker 4: of them or a lot of them, not not most maybe,
- 42:34Speaker 4: but I will. If someone says something meaningful or nice,
- 42:39Speaker 4: I will typically respond, yeah, I do that if they're
- 42:42Speaker 4: if they're like safe or no. It's more like if
- 42:46Speaker 4: they if they're like, you know, I'm going through divorce,
- 42:49Speaker 4: to do you and it's I'm having a really hard
- 42:52Speaker 4: time any advice. All get into contact with that person,
- 42:56Speaker 4: usually are.
- 42:57Speaker 1: They asking for advice?
- 42:59Speaker 4: That's good.
- 43:00Speaker 3: I just want to city thing though, because genuinely people
- 43:04Speaker 3: are mad. I wasn't supposed to perform in Kansas City.
- 43:06Speaker 1: So there's probably four people who are mad.
- 43:08Speaker 3: No, there was like two hundred tickets sold for the show.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I guess, so damn fuck you. Uh, there was a
- 43:16Speaker 3: lot of people that were mad. I wasn't supposed to
- 43:18Speaker 3: perform there. I will be coming back there, so just
- 43:21Speaker 3: keep an eye out. Fool me once twice. Actually I
- 43:25Speaker 3: fooled them twice because you canceled the other one them.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Why are you even apologizing?
- 43:31Speaker 4: We were quite vocal about that, tho we were we were.
- 43:34Speaker 3: I was not vocal about this because I didn't know
- 43:36Speaker 3: that I was booked there. So I apologize. You got
- 43:39Speaker 3: full refunds, but I apologize if you were planning on
- 43:42Speaker 3: going to the show last night. The show was never
- 43:44Speaker 3: supposed to happen. It will happen at a future date,
- 43:46Speaker 3: probably not for like six months or so though. Anyways.

- 47:43Speaker 4: I found myself last night quite late in what I
- 47:47Speaker 4: could only describe as the densest honey hole of people
- 47:53Speaker 4: in earth on Earth that would know who I am?
- 47:58Speaker 4: Any idea where that would be?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Oklyn Public Library close.
- 48:03Speaker 4: That's a good guess.
- 48:04Speaker 3: The fucking breakdown lane at the Hall in Tunnel No, it.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Was the oversized baggage collection area at LaGuardia, where half
- 48:14Speaker 4: the bags were ski bags, half were golf. Just white
- 48:20Speaker 4: bros as far as the eye could see, coming home
- 48:23Speaker 4: from Colorado and fucking golf bachelor parties in Florida. We're
- 48:28Speaker 4: all standing there. I'm telling you, every one of those suits.
- 48:32Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, you should have run, you should have
- 48:36Speaker 3: done some material.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we were all waiting for bags, and you know
- 48:40Speaker 4: what I've do? You know what I did? What did
- 48:42Speaker 4: you do? They were just sliding all the bags out
- 48:46Speaker 4: and they were running out of room on the on
- 48:49Speaker 4: the sort of slide which made us feel as though,
- 48:52Speaker 4: made me feel as though they were going to wait
- 48:55Speaker 4: to put more bags in until someone. So I started
- 49:00Speaker 4: rearranging the bags and making them as organized as possible
- 49:03Speaker 4: so that they could I actually stood up on the slide.
- 49:06Speaker 4: I got really and the fact that these people didn't clap.
- 49:10Speaker 4: You took charge, and I don't know what else you
- 49:11Speaker 4: need to wait.
- 49:12Speaker 1: They knew who you were and you took charge.
- 49:14Speaker 4: I think I took charge because they knew who I was.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, that would make me less likely to.
- 49:19Speaker 4: I wanted to give him a little taste of of
- 49:22Speaker 4: who I am. You know, I'm the guy who takes
- 49:25Speaker 4: two shopping carts and returns them. I'm the guy who
- 49:29Speaker 4: if someone's camped out in the left lane, I will
- 49:32Speaker 4: flash my lights and honk my horns, not even for
- 49:34Speaker 4: my sake, because I don't drive that fast.
- 49:36Speaker 1: One could be pregnant.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Get over, you're ruining the road. I'm the guy who
- 49:42Speaker 4: I'm the guy ever has a phantom comedy show in Kansas.
- 49:46Speaker 1: City, who always shows up in Kansas City. Yeah, I
- 49:50Speaker 1: don't know the last time you canceled any ship.
- 49:52Speaker 4: I don't.
- 49:53Speaker 3: I do actually have five shows books together, and you
- 49:55Speaker 3: canceled all of them.
- 49:56Speaker 1: You know it doesn't sound like are you sure that
- 50:01Speaker 1: wasn't Julio.
- 50:03Speaker 4: Or you get the wrong guy. Also, by the way,
- 50:07Speaker 4: you tried hitting five road road dates when you got
- 50:10Speaker 4: a fucking noose hanging from chandelier.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Who's got to swing to the road every morning?
- 50:15Speaker 3: You're like, don't a longer noose, don't get mobile with it?
- 50:19Speaker 1: Well, sleep with my noose. My noose around my neck
- 50:24Speaker 1: is loose.
- 50:24Speaker 4: Is the caboose. I'm a goose.
- 50:27Speaker 1: This brother was spitting fucking bars right now.
- 50:30Speaker 3: I'm the kind of guy that when I get my groceries,
- 50:32Speaker 3: I take the cart and I just kick it as
- 50:34Speaker 3: far as I can into the street.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I try to find I wait, your lady comes out, Yeah,
- 50:40Speaker 1: that's what I shove it right at her and try
- 50:42Speaker 1: and mow her down.
- 50:43Speaker 3: The grocery stores that I've been to in the last
- 50:45Speaker 3: six years don't even have shopping carts. They have just
- 50:48Speaker 3: to get something you can carry a.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Basket basket and a security guard who has like three
- 50:53Speaker 1: cone drill because they're getting robbed so much.
- 50:56Speaker 4: I love the baskets though, I do. Oh yeah, I
- 50:59Speaker 4: really like them. I like I like filling them up.
- 51:02Speaker 4: I do get a little annoyed if it's a heavy
- 51:05Speaker 4: grocery run for myself and I start having to really
- 51:09Speaker 4: perch items on top, yeah, because then I think to myself,
- 51:12Speaker 4: why didn't I just take a cart? But it feels
- 51:15Speaker 4: ridiculous to take a cart. Where are you taking a cart?
- 51:17Speaker 3: At those tiny ass grocery stores, there a lot I
- 51:22Speaker 3: could see whole food, so they don't have any of
- 51:24Speaker 3: those really around me though, So I just go to
- 51:26Speaker 3: those small ass grocery stores with a lane with the
- 51:28Speaker 3: lanes or like this.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Thing, yeah, where everything's really overpressed.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw oh yeah, TikTok of the Whole Foods
- 51:37Speaker 1: that was that had a line down the block on
- 51:39Speaker 1: a Saturday ship insane. Why would you ever do that?
- 51:43Speaker 1: There's a billion grocery stores in New York.
- 51:45Speaker 3: When I used to go to Trader Joe's when I
- 51:47Speaker 3: lived in East Village, I would get there if it
- 51:48Speaker 3: was like a weekend, I would get there and I
- 51:50Speaker 3: have to wait outside.
- 51:50Speaker 4: Ye get a lot usually, Why, bro, it's not that good.
- 51:56Speaker 1: There's no grocery that is that good, and Trader Joe's
- 51:59Speaker 1: is cheap and it's good food. So what though there's
- 52:02Speaker 1: like a fucking safeway around the.
- 52:03Speaker 4: Box those chocolate covered salted almonds they.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Have waiting there.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Your privilege is screaming right now.
- 52:10Speaker 1: That I'll go cheaper. I think your privilege that.
- 52:13Speaker 12: You'll your privilege is Trading Jones comfortable that you're you're
- 52:18Speaker 12: so locked in Ondega you will go to the bodega
- 52:24Speaker 12: that's owned by the brother.
- 52:25Speaker 3: The bodega is more expensive than Trader Joe's. Your privilege, Yeah,
- 52:29Speaker 3: but you're supporting a local business. You want to put
- 52:32Speaker 3: your money into the corporations. That's kind of weird, bro,
- 52:36Speaker 3: Brother that's that you're when you're when you're less privileged,
- 52:38Speaker 3: like some of us on the show.
- 52:40Speaker 4: You have to go to Trader Joe's.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Because the meat is cheaper.
- 52:43Speaker 1: No, because your dad is a shareholder at Trader Jos.
- 52:47Speaker 1: That's why it's cheaper, because you get a fucking discount. Yeah,
- 52:50Speaker 1: it's on the board.
- 52:51Speaker 4: Actually, it's no secret that Harry has won that Raffle
- 52:55Speaker 4: ticket card that they give out every day seventeen to Yeah.
- 53:01Speaker 1: It's like fucking Whitey Bulger lottery.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Skipping the line at Trader Joe. Sorry, my dad owns
- 53:06Speaker 3: my Dad Joe. Yeah, my dad's.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's not a trader.
- 53:12Speaker 3: He's actually extremely loyal.
- 53:14Speaker 4: Harry's the only guy who can walk in the outdoor.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Like that scene in Batman. I'm sure we could get
- 53:23Speaker 3: a couple of tables together. They're gonna let us do
- 53:26Speaker 3: sor right. I own the place.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Skipping the line.
- 53:30Speaker 10: Yeer, friends are swimming in the mango display.
- 53:37Speaker 3: If it makes anyone feel any better as well, I
- 53:40Speaker 3: also don't go grocery shopping. I uber eats every meal.
- 53:44Speaker 4: You've made that clear. That's privilege. We get it. In well,
- 53:49Speaker 4: I get it. I'm privileged and you're doing well, just
- 53:51Speaker 4: paying huge delivery fees and getting banged for service things
- 53:55Speaker 4: and all that, throwing all your dirty plastic in the
- 53:58Speaker 4: trash things.
- 54:00Speaker 3: I'm falling back hard on spending.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Falling back on spending, cutting back on cutting back on spending.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Falling back means that you're starting to spend more. I
- 54:10Speaker 1: think the Freudian slip. You're falling back on spending.
- 54:13Speaker 3: I'm cutting back on spending though, no you're not. I
- 54:16Speaker 3: am big time.
- 54:17Speaker 1: What's one thing that you cut back on?
- 54:19Speaker 3: Well, I bought another monitor, which was a mistake, and
- 54:23Speaker 3: so you're falling back. I will say a comfort because
- 54:26Speaker 3: I'm going to Winnipeg this weekend, and I thought I
- 54:28Speaker 3: was going to make a lot more money than I'm
- 54:31Speaker 3: going to make.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Then you realize that the Canadian dollar is.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I went on a little bit of a spree. I
- 54:36Speaker 3: was like, you know what, I do need a new monitor,
- 54:38Speaker 3: even though I just bought a new one six weeks ago.
- 54:41Speaker 3: And then I bought a three hundred dollars monitor and
- 54:44Speaker 3: then I tried to return it and I can't return it.
- 54:46Speaker 3: If I want to return it, I have to go
- 54:47Speaker 3: to the USPS and like ship it. So I'm just
- 54:49Speaker 3: keeping it now. I have four.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Monitor I get that. I get what you've done there.
- 54:53Speaker 4: I get that feeling. There was a period, do you
- 54:56Speaker 4: remember when I The period I went through what I
- 54:58Speaker 4: didn't tell you guys where I bought all the clothes
- 55:01Speaker 4: and all the ship was that I had gotten an
- 55:05Speaker 4: offer to rent my place upstate the entire year. And
- 55:11Speaker 4: it was from a couple whose house had burned down
- 55:14Speaker 4: in the California fire. Where was that again, California? What
- 55:19Speaker 4: was the name of that neighborhood that burned on Palace
- 55:24Speaker 4: House Aids. So their house had burned down and they
- 55:26Speaker 4: wanted There was an offer to rent my place for
- 55:28Speaker 4: the entire year, and I was like, holy shit. I
- 55:32Speaker 4: calculated exactly how much I would get from that after
- 55:37Speaker 4: taxes and deducting my mortgage and you know, fees and
- 55:41Speaker 4: all that, and I was like, holy shit, I mean
- 55:45Speaker 4: I can go out and buy all these clothes. They bailed.
- 55:49Speaker 4: They ended up buying a new home in LA and
- 55:52Speaker 4: I'm like, fuck, how do I commit arson renew their
- 55:57Speaker 4: need house? Yeah? And uh. At that point, I'd taken
- 56:04Speaker 4: all the tags off the clothes, which were non returnable anyway,
- 56:07Speaker 4: because it was a sample sale, tough final sale. Yeah,
- 56:12Speaker 4: I guess the lesson there is, do not spend money
- 56:15Speaker 4: you don't have you hope to have as a result
- 56:19Speaker 4: of a natural disaster.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Do you not spend money that you're expecting.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Yeah, So nobody has spent cutting back on spending.
- 56:27Speaker 4: No, I actually have been. I've been better than Harry.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Nobody has given an example of cutting back on spending.
- 56:33Speaker 4: I'll give you an example. I'll give you an example though.
- 56:39Speaker 4: I was sa was I was out late last week
- 56:46Speaker 4: doing shows, and it was probably I got I got
- 56:49Speaker 4: off because I got bumped. There were so many people
- 56:52Speaker 4: that bumped me at the stand. Donnel Rollins. Yeah, I
- 56:56Speaker 4: already said this said, And so I ended up going
- 56:59Speaker 4: on super late and getting out at like, I don't know,
- 57:03Speaker 4: twelve twenty or something like that, yea something late, and
- 57:07Speaker 4: I could have I didn't want to take a city
- 57:10Speaker 4: bike home because it was cold and dark, and I
- 57:14Speaker 4: didn't I didn't want to take a cab or an
- 57:16Speaker 4: uber because they're expensive, so I took the subway home.
- 57:19Speaker 1: How much were they would the cab and uber have cost?
- 57:21Speaker 10: It?
- 57:21Speaker 4: Probably like thirty five forty bucks or some shit, you know.
- 57:25Speaker 4: So I took. I took a cutting back on spending. Yeah,
- 57:28Speaker 4: I took the uber, which was excuse me, I took
- 57:31Speaker 4: the busy subway subway which was twelve minutes away, so
- 57:34Speaker 4: I had to wait twelve minutes. And then when it
- 57:36Speaker 4: finally came, I'm not kidding you. Every single train car
- 57:39Speaker 4: that I saw was packed. No, had at least four
- 57:43Speaker 4: homeless people sleeping on it. Twelve twenty Yeah, you sleepway dead,
- 57:47Speaker 4: sleep and fully prone across a bench.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:52Speaker 4: So I got on and you know, started singing to them.
- 57:56Speaker 3: He started rehearsing, reciting Churchill.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so you're saying it's thirty bucks.
- 58:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess so developed a nose infection from the
- 58:06Speaker 4: scent of rotting leaves. I didn't.
- 58:10Speaker 3: I stopped booking first class plane tickets. That's a start.
- 58:14Speaker 4: Nice that you that you were doing that. I haven't
- 58:16Speaker 4: booked the first class plane ticket in a long time.
- 58:19Speaker 3: I got upgraded immediately.
- 58:21Speaker 4: I flew coach down to Florida and back.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Jesus Christ that I got I booked.
- 58:27Speaker 3: I booked coach instant upgrade. But I booked coach because
- 58:31Speaker 3: I had to book Mook's flights too. Because I decided
- 58:34Speaker 3: that I wanted him to come to Winnipeg, even though
- 58:36Speaker 3: the flights were expensive. But it's because it's gonna be
- 58:38Speaker 3: my birthday and I don't really feel like spending my
- 58:41Speaker 3: birthday just in a hotel room in Winnipeg.
- 58:44Speaker 1: You're gonna spend it.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Dues in a hotel room next to Mook's hotel room
- 58:49Speaker 3: alone playing video games.
- 58:51Speaker 1: So he's basically your birthday present to yourself.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Is exactly.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Yes, just to have somebody around that, like, we'll open
- 59:01Speaker 1: for you. It makes a little bit less money than Yeah,
- 59:03Speaker 1: it was probably.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Gonna make like the same amount of money as me realistically,
- 59:06Speaker 3: because I bought his flights.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah that's sick then, Yeah, job creator, job creator, that's
- 59:12Speaker 1: fucking nice. What do you want for your birthday?
- 59:15Speaker 4: Oh?
- 59:15Speaker 1: You guys were supposed to have a gear off last
- 59:18Speaker 1: week scheduled on my calendar.
- 59:20Speaker 4: Now I'm in this freeze. I'm in the spending freeze.
- 59:23Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to wait on that reel I wanted.
- 59:25Speaker 3: I've already got my gear ready to go.
- 59:27Speaker 1: So you have not cut back on spending at all.
- 59:30Speaker 3: I haven't bought. I've been bought a year in months.
- 59:33Speaker 4: We are seven days. We are seven days into new
- 59:36Speaker 4: my new billing cycle, into my new balance on my
- 59:39Speaker 4: credit card, and I looked at it today, I've spent
- 59:42Speaker 4: one hundred and twenty six dollars in seven days. That's
- 59:45Speaker 4: pretty solid, that's pretty fucking I thought you were.
- 59:47Speaker 3: Gonna say, one hundred twenty six thousand dollars.
- 59:49Speaker 1: So you don't pick up the bill when you're with
- 59:51Speaker 1: your parents, No.
- 59:54Speaker 4: Thank god, no offend anyone who does. I mean, that's
- 59:58Speaker 4: awesome that you do.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I always do.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: That's cool. I dig that I don't.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Want my parents pay for If I'm going to any
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: type of meal with them, I'm always paying for it.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: That's why you're my favorite host.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: Given that I currently have negative one hundred and twenty
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: six dollars, my parents are worth exactly negative fifty something
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: times fifty thousand times what I'm worth. I don't know,
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: so it would make sense that they are. Math there, well,
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: you'd have to do the negative as negative times negative
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: equals positive.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: There you go, You know that round. Yes, you probably
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: didn't know that.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: That's a mathematician. Of course, scientists, same.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Thing can't just change the You can't just change it
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: every day every week. Physicists supposedly that is.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Cool that you buy that you buy the bill, that
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: you pick up the bill, roam, what do you want?
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: What do you want for my birthday?
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: For your birthday and for your big h your big day,
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: well big day for the family.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: When's your birthday?
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: April fifth?
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: It I was gonna say twenty sixth, though.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: Yours didn't know.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: April fifth.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: April fifth.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Maybe just a dinner of us, guys. Maybe we go
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: back to four Charles.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Four Charles would be nice.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: You're gonna be able to slip away. No, God, you
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: got a lot of mess.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe you guys go to four yeing.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: Harry to four Charles again. You know your mind.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: I'll bring one of my monitors. We can zoom you.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: Last time he was there, one of the nicest restaurants
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: in New York. Didn't even take his fucking hat off
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: the whole time for me. Yeah, that's not true.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: I didn't wear hats back then.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Yeah you did, No, I didn't. I remember you wearing
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: a hat and a hoodie.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: They didn't even tip. Yeah, you said, why should I tip?
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: These guys?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: They're wearing white gloves. They're already richer than me.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Fucking gas goes there once a week, best burger joining town.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Still he's always posting the white gloves of them cutting
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: the burger up.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it is nice.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: It is funny as people act like they're like food connoisseurs.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Well, I think Gas is like a uh burger guy. Yeah,
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: he ranks burgers, but that's also like uh and I
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: believe them.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess I believe.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: I trust.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: But it's like you don't need to like know a
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: lot to know what the best burger is. I think
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I guess that's a common man.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: I feel like you kind of do. I had Seventh
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Street Burger the other night, phenomenal diarrhea.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: The next day was I heard Seventh Street is amazing.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: It's good smash burger though, Oh yeah, guys doesn't like
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: smash burgers. You should know that.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I did not know that.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I was in Red Hook where he's his top burger is.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: But I went to Hometown Barbecue.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that place too.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Insane.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: What you pick up?
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I got there right when they open.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: They have a you got a picture of the plate.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Of course, you got a plate pick of course.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I got a b frib that's forty dollars and it
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: was maybe the best I've been to every every great
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: barbecue city and a showing brother every single b frib.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Look at that plate. Whoa, the b frib was insane,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: that's crazy. But I waited in the line like it
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: was a goddamn Whole Foods on a Saturday right there
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: at twelve when it opened, and uh waited in line
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: for probably forty minutes to get the food. Fucking say,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: that's a plate right there.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: So hungry.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I probably spent one hundred I think it was one
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: hundred and twenty six hours for that place.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Jesus Christ, that looks good.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: It was a and it was just like a pull
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: pork sandwich, brisket whipla.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: I'm a hugeslag guy, I should have.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's good for It's nice to have a like
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: a fiber in there to kind of drag the barbecue
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: through your body big time.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Like I've been big on fiber lately, and my ships
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: are just flying out. I know, you pinch every time.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I've been big on black beans. I've been buying cans
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: of black beans, just having that as a meal. Nice
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: can of beans.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: I've been eating. I've been having a green smoothie and
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: oatmeal for breakfast every day.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: Good for you. Yeah, here starting the day off with some.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Fuel, with some power.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: What do you mean every day two days in a row.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: We'll be on.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: I've realized that I don't eat a lot in the morning,
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: and then if I don't eat in the morning, and
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: I have shit all day, Like we've been filming this show,
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: so like I just won't eat until like six pm,
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: and then I get like the worst stomachache imaginable, and
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: it's because I'm not eating. Yeah, So I've been making
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: it a been making a strong effort to eat something
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: healthy in the morning.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: I genuinely think if I have an assertion, which is
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: that if I had the choice to have whatever cocktail
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: I want, okay, drink of any of alcohol for the
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: rest of my life, it might be a Pina colatta
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: with a rum float.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Oh I don't need the rum float, but pina colattas
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: are amazing.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Dude, you gotta do the rum float.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Why to get more tanked or because it tastes better.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: I think it tastes better. It cuts down the sweetness
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: a little bit. I mix it in. I don't just sip.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: I don't go half rum float.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Half because that is a problem. Why I wouldn't be
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: able to eat them every day. Is because they're so
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: fucking well. I only have one, you only need one, really,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: but blended drink, a blended ice drink at a beach bar,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: hot area, freshing pineapple.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: And they got the best blenders for whatever reason. When
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: you when those blenders, you get those blenders going those
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: ones pure. Whereas like a home blender, whenever I've tried
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: to make a crushed you know, blended drink at home,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: you get ice chunks in it.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: You need a ninja, you need the one that they
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: have on White Lotus.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Yeah, don't you guys think that, Uh it isn't spoiler.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: This is uh, this is theories for White Lotus that
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: there's gonna be something with that blender in the last episode.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: I don't know anything about the blender. I haven't seen
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: last night's episode.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: I've seen him in last night's episodes last night, but
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: maybe you know Schwartzenegger's always he's always blending something. He's
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: asking his brothers like you want a protein chick?
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: Yes? Yeah?
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Why would that? Why would that be like such a prevalent.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: Someone's head is going through that fucking blender or the
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: poison fruit.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Do they have poison fruit?
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: And they talk about that in like the first episode,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: I think, so, yeah, Wow, you think that there's something
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: with that blend. They keep on coming back to the blender.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: Guys, have you been up to speed on the Karen
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: Reid trial? I realized this is very So many people
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: are so dialed into this that is crazy to even
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: bring it up.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: I only know what I've seen in the Chinese newspapers.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I honestly, I've only heard about it from other people.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Is your long fat or Karen Reid?
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: Oh? Is that what it says?
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Interesting?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: What is it? What's going on?
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: Wait?
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Well, Max?
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Max did a documentary that, let me tell you, I
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: didn't follow. I didn't know anything about the case. I
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: just had missed it and then thought I was too
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: late to catch up. I watched this Max documentary on
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: the Karen Reid trial as if it was I was
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: guzzling pina coladas. Really, it was unbelievably scintillating. Now, I'm sure,
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: as all documentaries are, that this one was quite biased.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: What's the case? What happened?
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: I don't really know anything about it.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: A Boston police officer.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: I know everything about it. Take that back was.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Killed in the middle of the night at a at
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: a house outside. The next morning his body was found.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: He'd been he'd been hitting the head, he was bleeding,
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: and he had whatever his arm was covered in scratches
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: and there were There are two possibilities basically that one
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: is that Karen Reid, his girlfriend, Uh, they got into
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: a fight. She dropped him off the house, and she
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: backed her car up into him and hit him, and
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: then he fell backwards, hit his head and passed out
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: and died in the snow. Another alternative theory, because she
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: says that she didn't do that all, is that he
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: went into the house where his cop buddies were. She
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: left because she was angry. Something happened inside that house,
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: his cop buddies gotten to a fight, killed him somehow,
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: and then dragged his body outside and planted it in
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: the snow where he died. Was dead or died that
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: didn't happen. Yeah, dude, you gotta watch this. It is
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: so nuanced, It is so impossible. Look, I haven't followed
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: the particulars of the case. I'm sure I'm very naive,
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: at least from the presentation of this documentary, which I'm
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: sure is very biased. I was back and forth the
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: whole time. My theory and my conviction was a game
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: of tennis.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: Is this really? Is the documentary really good?
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: It's unbelievable. This is an unbelievable story. Boilers, you gotta
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: watch it. I'll watch and uh it's it's just it's
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: just beyond belief. Dude, I've never been so card.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Did they just drag him just outside?
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Sounds like the Kansas City.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Dudes, chiefs Kelsey Mahomes.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Those guys that all died, they all died in the snow.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: But it turned out they were they were doing coke
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: and they had fedonol on it. But it was like
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: they all got an Airbnb together and like one of
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: them was asleep inside and then the other three were
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: all just dead in the snow outside.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: This is the two theories that were presented by the
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: defense and the prosecution. The defense said he was killed
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: and she was by his buddies and she was framed
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: for it, got it. The prosecution says he was killed
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: by Karen Reid when she backed her car up and
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: hit him.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Didn't she just come out with like a makeup line too.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: There's been a lot of publicity around her.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Doesn't she is she she got signed to Alex Cooper's
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: podcast network.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, unwell no.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: My sense is that, like, if she did it, I
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: feel like she's been getting so much publicity about it
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: without knowing even anything about the case. You have to
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: be such a sociopaths to be like seeking the publicity
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: once you have committed a murder the girl.
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: That was part of the strategy of her team though,
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: was to bring it out and make it a huge
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: public thing. Uh, because by rallying public support for.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Her, because everybody's like, oh, she's hot.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Well, I don't know. God, yeah, I love.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: To hear in a Matt Damon movie is she hot?
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: Yeah? Detractive? I wouldn't call her the most Well, let
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: me say something. There's a cop. There was a cop,
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: a lead detective who was going through the evidence. He
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: kind of took all the evidence from the case, and
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: they read the text messages that he sent to other
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: cops about the case, and they were like, someone was like,
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: is she hot at least? And he goes, yeah, she's
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: like a bombshell no ass though, and then and then
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: someone was like and he was he was like, she's
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: a crazy, fucking whack job. Cunt and and he has
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: to read these times the whole courtroom and then laugh
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: and then and then he goes, he goes, no nudes yet,
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: because he's going This guy ends up losing his job. Sure,
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: I mean it was really bad. It was really really bad.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Just because he's doing a little detective work. I know, seriously,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: what happened to our thin blue line.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: It was really bad.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: But that seems like all crucial evidence.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I can't wait until Amy Ryan plays her in the
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: next Yeah.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Yeah, the rest needs work.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: Yeah yeah. And you know, also the guy, the cop
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: who died, could not have been a more you know,
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: sort of lovable person. He his sister had passed away,
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: I think, and then and then her husband passed away
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: shortly thereafter, orphaning their two young children, whom anyone looks
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: he adopted and just as a single dad, took over
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: the sort of parenting of his two of his niece
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: and nephew. Anyone looking into that, Yeah, she did it
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: for sure.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: She was probably jealous of all the attention that he
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: was given to the kids, and she fuck it through
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: that thing. In reverse to.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: The Boston accents in this in this case, in this
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: documentary are unbelievable. They're just amazing. It is tailor made
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: for a benefflict.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Everybody in Boston wants to be a detective so bad.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Everybody like thinks they're like an undercover like cop. This
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: is kind of I'm actually a cop, already could have
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: been a cop.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: It's like gone girl.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Slash, gone baby, gone slash the.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: Town casey Anthony, Yeah meets uh good.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: It doesn't get much better than that.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I'm actually a cop.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Either take an eat to you take any I don't
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: go watch the go watch the documentary. We would all
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: talk about it.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Maybe remyt she was killed by Remy Barssot.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: I'm sure it's I'm sure it's old news now to
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: everyone else, but.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Uh now people are like obsessed about it.
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: Dude. I was so glad that I had not followed
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: the case so that when I watched this documentary, I
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: just couldn't even breathe. I was chugging it. Episode ends right.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: How many episodes are there?
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Five now each. I watched it back to back to
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: back to back to but I haven't been that hooked
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: on something in a long time.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: I'm now excited to watch it today.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: It was excellent. It is very in favor of her.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: I would say it's much more favorable to her.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because Alex Cooper is fucking producing it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, she also greenlit the doc and is the
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: featured player of it. I mean she's giving literal interviews
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: to the documentary filmmakers as the case cases developing.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: I don't understand how that's legal.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: Well, this is what makes the case so hard and
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: may have been a strategy of the defense, which is
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: that you create a world where there isn't a single
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: person you can select for a jury who has not
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: already heard about the case and can render an impartial verdict.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: But that's the motive of the cop buddies. What's the
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: implied motives that they would have.
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: The theory of the defense is that this is a grand
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: conspiracy where the Canton Police Department is, you know, they're
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: all looking out for each other. One of their own
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: ended up killing one of their own, and then they're
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: all covering it up on his behalf. It seems far
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: fetched to me.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: You need to put mayor of Eustown on the case.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: What Philly girl up there?
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: There are a lot of pieces. There are a lot
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: of pieces of the Karen Reid theory that are a
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: little kind of don't make that much sense either, and
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: which makes me believe that maybe there's a third scenario. Oh,
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: I see, there may be a completely different situation that happened.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: But I don't know, man.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I has anybody looked into ghosts maybe being probably?
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel weird even talking about this is like
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: this has turned into almost like a civil war in
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: Boston of opinion. Interesting either for the police or you're
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: for Karen Reid.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: I haven't heard anything. I really haven't seen much about it,
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: even online, but my sister told me about it, and then.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: You just Jerry Thornton has been blocking up a storm
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: about Oh my god.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: He was probably like, any ass on it, you find
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: any nudes?
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Imagine if she did have an.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: Put the Boston Police Department leam.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Imagine if there was, as in the leaks, the whole
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: BPD would have the nudes fuck flying through there. You'd
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: have to subpoena every phone. Thank god she didn't have
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: any ass, dude.
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: It is amazing to see true crime documentaries in the
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: present day. Yeah, I think I've made this point, but
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: when you when you watch ones about you know, Ted
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: Bundy right.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: Ted Bundy, want I think is one of the best.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: It's one of the best ever. But it's just shocking
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: to learn things like, Yeah, he managed to elude police
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: because two police departments that were a town apart don't communicate. Yeah,
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: there's no uniformity of their databases. Yes, before the Internet,
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: like they they didn't know. So he escaped simply by
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: getting on a bus. Yeah, and the people in this
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: state couldn't get in touch with these people now. And
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: there's no footage, right, there's no footage of anything. There's
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: no security cameras, so they're using reenactments street. A lot
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: of those true crime docs use dramatic reenactment with some
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: shadowy figure is slow motion walking down the hall as
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: a narrator describes hearing his footsteps. Do it for you, No,
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: a awful, it sucks.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: They did that in the Epstein documentary and it was
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever seen.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, like that's you should put that should have its
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: own documentary about whoever stayed.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: Well, they didn't have reenactments of the molesting. They had
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: reenactments of like the the actual victims, like walking into
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: the courthouse for the first day, like crying, and there's
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: like a shit ton of cameras everywhere, so it's so
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: shit and it's like, why would you make them relive
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: this moment?
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: Well, they're not using the actual victims, as they're not
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: playing themselves.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: In the in the Epstein documentary, they were.
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: You're telling me that the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, Yes,
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: did those dramatic reenactments in the documentary, Yes, and walked
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: into the court room. Yes, yes, as themselves. Is that true?
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: That's exactly what I'm telling you.
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: WHOA If that's true, that is really bizarre.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: In the there was like I think there was one
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: or two who were like they were grown up, but
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: they were victims obviously when they were younger.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: I mean I didn't watch that one, but I could
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: see them giving interviews.
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: But but I've talked about this on the podcast before.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Maybe I didn't make it ever make it clear.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: That did you see the clip of RFK Junior talking
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: to Jesse Waters, and Jesse Waters was like, and just
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to be clear, you were never on Epstein's plane And
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Rfk's like, I was on his plane too.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: Tome.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: Jesus Christ, Annie Farmer self, survivor, Shanna rivera survivor. Yeah,
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: there's like it's all all these people are all actual.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: Yeah, but again that could they could be getting those
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: credits simply because they interview They were interviewed and gave testimony.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: But I'm telling you they did.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: There were scenes where they'd be like strolling on the beach,
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: like crying, and there'd be like a nice like sunset
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: in the background, and then there would be a scene
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: of them walking into the courthouse. Okay, full on reenactments.
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: It's bizarre.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Are well.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: What I was going to say, and I may have
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: made this point before, is that true crime documentaries are
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: going to become and have become to me so much
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: more interesting because as these crimes always continue to happen
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: and divisive cases present themselves, we will we will, as
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: viewers of these documentaries, be blessed with ring camera footage
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: oh yeah, and fucking you know evidence that's like up
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: to speed and much more modern sort of investigative procedures
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: that just make things, I don't know, much more convincing
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: one way or the other.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: I have a hard time with true crime now like
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: I used to be. I was into it a lot
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: when like the Ted Bundy documentary came out, and then
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: I watched like the night Stocker documentary, which was awesome.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't love that one. I thought that one
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: was fucked crazy. It was just too much bad shit. Yeah,
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: and then I went a little weighted down by it.
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: That was like I didn't get weighted down by that.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: You just want and variety.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: Murder, yeah, murder and rape together. Was he raping the Nightstalker? Yeah?
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: I thought so.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: I thought he was just pulling up and just killing
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: people on leaving. Wasn't that the one probably raped realistically?
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: Wasn't that the one where he was he was raping
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: people and making the husband's watch out in California and
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: it turned out to be a cop. No, Well, I
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: don't know which one. I'm thinking I'll look it up.
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: This one like Patton Oswalt's wife was investigating writing a
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: book about yeah, and she died.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Uh yeah, I think, But no, this was the guy.
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: He was like a Mexican bro say, was like Rodriguez
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: or some shit, and like he he would just go
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: to like nice neighborhoods in Hollywood and just kill people
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: and then are in California and then go back and
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: stay at that fucking hotel.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: I'm thinking of all be Gone in the dark. Yeah,
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: did you watch that one? Now? Yeah, that one was
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: pretty heavy.
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: The Nightstalker one was good, and then then then I
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: tried to watch the John Wayne Gacy one, and then
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: that one I think was the last full I guess
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: like the Murder one was really good.
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: I liked that that one was good and that was
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: more modern. That was more modern, which I liked.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: John Wayne Gacy one was literally just just graphic stories
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: of him killing young boys.
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: Did you watch the Jinks? That's no, that's the one
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: right probably for me is the one that almost spawned
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: because during the case right True crime docs?
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: Sorry, does that one happened? That one happens during the
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: case right?
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: Was documentary? Yeah? They they catch him because there's.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: The part two was supposed to be like insane, right.
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: I don't think people told me the part two wasn't
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: as good. Oh.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: I thought the part two was the one that where
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: they shoot where they like revealed that they had him
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: on camera.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: No, that's the end of the part one.
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: Interesting. Yeah, but yeah, the murderot one was really good,
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: and I'll yeah, I'll check out this one, but yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: the the true crime stuff for me got a little too.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: I was kind of like, well, I started to be
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: fully honest, I was. I watched the Dahmer movie, and
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: then I watched a documentary about Dahmer, and then I
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: watched the other Dahmer movie, and then I started listening
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: to the audiobook that his dad wrote, and then about
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: halfway through that, I was like, this is weird. I'm
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: done with this. I since then, I haven't really gotten
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: into true crime.
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: Yeah, you were a real.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: Well, I just found it interesting reading about like his
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: dad's The dad's book was actually very interesting, but it
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: was kind of like, I don't need to know all this.
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: I couldn't watch the show.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: The show was pretty fucked.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: Because I couldn't handle it. I tried for five minutes
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: and I was like, I know where this is going.
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: I don't want any part of it.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: The show was pretty crazy.
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: It was pretty good, though. It's just tough to be like, yeah,
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: it's no, you got to check this one out. It's
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: fucking amazing.
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's uh, the perversity of the human spirit.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not into any of the true crime stuff. No,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: into I find it to be a ball. I found
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: it to be a little gossip.
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: Roan.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: You literally watched reality TV with my wife. You watch
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: like Summerhouse to be a.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Companion to my wife.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: No, if your wife wasn't around, you'd still be watching
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: that ship and you know it.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I've never watched it without and it's it's with a
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I mean, especially.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: If you never watched it out your wife, because you
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: guys have to like watch together because you're caught up
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: on the same episodes.
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, it's normal.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I watched it to support my wife.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: If your pipe wasn't around, I know you'd be still
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: tuning in Summer House on tonight.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: I've never watched it.
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: Dude.
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: You went to the convention by yourself. You went to
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: the Bravo.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: This is a lie and this is showing your privilege.
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: You actually did he actually did? Did you know that?
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Well? I did it.
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: He went to the Bravo convention solo. You two and
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: like photos, took photos with the reality stars.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Now my wife did with her friend and I stayed
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: at home.
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: You went.
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: I remember you going.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: I went to watch What Happens Live with my wife
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: as a birthday present.
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: It was you would have gone by yourself. You got
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: a VIP ticket and you didn't get your wife one.
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: You had her her go wait in general admission, and
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: you went backstage and met the stars.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Dude, you're trying to deflect from the fact that you
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: would take apart the shopping carts and scatter the fucking
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: wheels and handlebars in different corners of the parking lot
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: just to make it harder on the poor thirteen year
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: old who had just been molested. You waited until right
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: after they were molested to try to scatter and make
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: a fucking I felt scavenger hunt.
- 1:24:32Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: I did feel bad that I said that they were molested,
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: but it just felt right at the moment.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I know a kid who got his dick grabbed at
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: a uh at a he was working in the checkout
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: of a grocery store when he was like fifteen, someone
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: grabbed his dick, I'm sure, and he got so fucking
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: jacked afterwards, like shredded, like big body. I think you
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: wound up doing boxing and shit like that. Like he
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: would beat the fuck out of people, so it sucked
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: him up. Well, I mean, fuck a lot of people up.
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: It's like the third act of Moonlight.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: What happens in the third act of Moonlight.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: I remember getting sucked off.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: He's incredibly jacked.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he's like a fucking He's like the rock.
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: The most jack dude I've ever seen on TV on
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: a television screen man. What a movie that movie.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I was more into La La Land that year.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: I was more into anything other than moon.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Joking sucked ass. But isn't that the one that they
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: said won the Oscar instead.
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: Of they missed. They announced the wrong one.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: What even was Moonlight?
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: I don't know, a beautiful portrayal of a tortured closet,
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: a gay young You liked that movie? My heart broke
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: watching it. It was very sad. I felt horrible.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: I thought it was nowhere near like the best movie
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: that year, and nor was La La Land. I thought
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: they were both trash. And that's when Moonlight was some
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: dog shit. And that's when I was living in La
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: writing for that battle Rap show, and it was like
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: a diss. I think it was one of the this
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: is in one of the battle raps that like, you
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: like La La Land better than Moonlight? Really like you
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: didn't like Moonlight?
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: It was like that forgot Yeah, yeah, but I.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: Said you said, the battle rap scene got pretty woke
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: for a minute, right, Well.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: That was the battle Rap show. So it was like,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I mean that whole show had people like walking off
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: if you like, compared to people of the same race,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: if you like, said an Indian person looked like another
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Indian person.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: Like.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: There were multiple people that like refused to do the show,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Like people literally drove off the set because they're like,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: this is not what I signed up for. I think
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: it was the wocust that Holly has ever been. Not
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: to be an anti woke crusader.
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: But La La Lamb was better than Moonlight.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: I swear to god that was.
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: The insane this. You should have just clapped back and
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: be like I didn't watch either of them.
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: I mean, can I be honest with you. I loved
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: La La land.
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: I actually have heard. I never saw it, but I
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: heard it was great.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: What do you like about it? Citio Stars.
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: I liked the music. I thought it was catchy. Uh
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: that that boom boom at a stone in it Can't
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: go right? I love her, I loved I thought their
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: relationship was stoner.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I didn't like her until Poor Things. I wasn't a
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: stone until I saw her dump them out in Poor Things.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Then I was like, all right, Bush, we're doing Bush.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: Start Stoner's I'm a stone fans.
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: You would like her.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: I'm a big Stoner.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: I do like her Stoner.
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: I just told you I'm a stoner.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Bro, what so what?
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: Did you?
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: You? Just like the fantastical repord?
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: I like the music. I don't know. I thought it
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: was funny. I thought, uh funny. No, Bro, I didn't
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: like that your car gets broken, ease on it.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Twenty seventeen was a heartbreaking year. Yeah, didn't Fences come
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: out that year?
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: Too?
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Heartbreaking movie?
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: That is a heartbreaking movie, aust which I saw. I
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: saw the I saw the play with Denzel I.
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: Saw the play. I read the split my heart into
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: six thousand pieces.
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: You don't have a heart. You are utterly devoid of heart,
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: did I tell you, guys?
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: Still trying to put it back together?
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: So you told you, guys. I saw gr Glengarry Glenn
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: Ross with Bill Burr right and saw it. Yeah, how
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: was it?
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: I think you said you were going to see it.
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: I don't know if your har talked about you saw it?
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: Yeah? I went and saw it. Yeah, I thought it
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: was pretty good. I don't know, I just don't really
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: like to play that much.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: What's it about again, like an overbearing father.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: In Like, No, it's salesmen and they are selling I
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: guess like condos or real estate units. It's never really
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: that clear, and they're all vying for commissions and quotas,
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: and ultimately there's some corruption and it gets revealed. But
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: it's just I don't know. It was not it was
- 1:29:01Speaker 4: not that compelling, and the cast was unbelievable. It's Kieran Culkin,
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: Bob Odenkirk, Bill Burr. I actually thought Bill Burr's acting
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: was maybe the best of any of the cars. Yeah,
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: I really did. And then the guy from Better call Saul,
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: who is his brother who's like an allergic to electromagnetic waves.
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys ever watched that. He's
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: in it. Michael McKean. I think it is his name.
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: So a pretty all star stellar.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: I'm hearing all white males is what I'm hearing.
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: The boss of the company was a black actor. There
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: we go, But thank god, you gotta watch. You got
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: to go see O Mary. I'd like to.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: Oh my god, Yeah, I've got to get out to
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: Broadway soon.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: That's a fucking play. Oh Mary, I'll get you some tickets.
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: I'd love to.
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: It's the least I could do for my birthday. We
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: talked about Mary Lincoln, Mary Mary Todd Right, Yeah, how
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: she because of how much of a bitch she was. Yeah,
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: the ants did not go to Ford's Theater at the
- 1:30:02Speaker 4: right that Lincoln was sassity and they were to sit
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: in the box with him.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: You gotta go see that. Where So where'd you sit
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: at the play?
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Good seats?
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: But what's your definition of good seats?
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: Orchestra or in front of in front of the overhang.
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: You're right by the pit.
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: There was no well, there was no pit in that theater.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: I don't think that's what we would call the orchestra.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Glen Gary, Glen Raw.
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: You are showing your naivete my lack of privilege.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Maybe stick to the lion kin kidding, I apologize my
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: lack of privilege.
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: The orchestra refers to the lower, the lowest level of seating.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Got it's got it?
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Maybe when I went to play stick to Joseph in
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: the Amazing Technicolor dream Coat. Something more your speed not familiar?
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Donnie osmondam not ringing a bell? You don't know who.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: Donny Osmond is not ringing any bells.
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: It may refer to that because that's usually where the
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: orchestra pit is. So I'm gonna I might give you
- 1:31:01Speaker 4: have credit. I'm gonna have to look this up.
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Brother, you're talking to someone who.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Stick to the Phantom of the Opera, keeps.
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: Trying to make see that's a good one that works.
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: That works, Phantom of the Opera, I mean, doesn't get
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: much better than that, that movie or that played. Sorry
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: my bad.
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: That book.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: The book is incredied.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: That showing is phenomenal.
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, look at this. Oh this is a full
- 1:31:30Speaker 4: circle moment. You guys ready for this. I was right.
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: The low level of seating in a theater or concert
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: hall is called the orchestra because it's historically the area
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: where the orchestra or chorus would perform. In ancient Greek
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: Antipipite theaters amphitheaters and do they call the amphibian eaters,
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: and the term evolved to describe the seating closest to
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: the stage. All right, I'm going half credit for you
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: on that one.
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: But do they they never mentioned the pit?
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: No?
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Interesting, you ever see a Phantom of the opera in
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: the round.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: The only time I've ever seen fan of the opera
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: was when our high school did it, and it was phenomenal.
- 1:32:11Speaker 4: They did That's a big play to put on.
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: My sister was in the pit chosing the orchestra.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: What'd you play?
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: Violent? God? Damn?
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: The ftum of the opera is here, so sord Oh mind?
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: All right, I'll be in Kansas City. We're ending it
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: first weekend of May.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: I was just getting heated.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: I thought I had some more juice.
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: I need to go. I'm starving. You guys are gonna
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: do that. This is you're gonna do that. You're gonna
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: make me look like the guy who fucking called it quits.
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: You know what, Let's do it good. I guess we'll
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: just end it. Let's keep talking now it's ended. Let's
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: keep singing show tunes. Let's end it. Keep going on.
