Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty five Wists stuck in full
- 0:08Speaker 1: and they wear room whist.
- 0:09Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's too bad. But what didn't you expect?
- 0:13Speaker 3: It's a podcast called twenty five Wits.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Souls Twine, We Welcome Blood. All Right, where do we start?
- 0:22Speaker 2: I just kind of want to get to the Cowboys
- 0:24Speaker 2: stuff first and get it over with.
- 0:25Speaker 1: What's up?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Also, I'm not a Cowboys hater, but I do hate
- 0:30Speaker 2: Eddie Waffle so hard. One week he's We're gonna win
- 0:33Speaker 2: it all. The next week like, I'm never watching another
- 0:35Speaker 2: game again, and then he's like, challenge me, I'll never
- 0:37Speaker 2: watch another game in next week's I get. I think
- 0:39Speaker 2: we're back in it. That's the only part that's kind
- 0:41Speaker 2: of annoying.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I get that.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I don't even I actually I like the Cowboys. Now
- 0:45Speaker 2: you love the Cowboy I'm gonna tell you why because
- 0:47Speaker 2: they haven't won a long time and I never I'm
- 0:49Speaker 2: gonna just like a team out of nowhere that wins.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Right. I like the Cowboys, But you know what, I
- 0:53Speaker 1: think this is the year. It's good to jump on
- 0:56Speaker 1: this year because we're gonna be good.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I will here we go, but I will bet if
- 0:59Speaker 2: you you're on them super Bowl to win or two. Now,
- 1:05Speaker 2: if they get close, you can always cash out. Yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 2: of course, but I know I'm going to put a
- 1:09Speaker 2: future on the one super Bowl. But the Cowboys, they
- 1:13Speaker 2: still have the most valuable franchise in the NFL.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Oh, I think you can say the most fights in
- 1:18Speaker 3: camp history.
- 1:19Speaker 2: No, I saw that too.
- 1:20Speaker 3: They always get fights.
- 1:21Speaker 2: The Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl in thirty years.
- 1:23Speaker 2: They are the most valuable NFL franchise for the seventh
- 1:26Speaker 2: time in a row. They're worth fifteen point five billion dollars. Wow,
- 1:32Speaker 2: it is the brand, it is the logo.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I definitely contribute to that, to what
- 1:38Speaker 1: to what that wealth what I buy jerseys, hats.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Kids, So does so many Americans.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yes, it's funny though, I do think like that, like
- 1:47Speaker 1: Pearl Jam, Like I've bought so many Pearl Jam shirts
- 1:49Speaker 1: throughout the years.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Oh, you're the reason they're big gets. So man.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Yeah that when I jump on Instagram and I see
- 1:55Speaker 1: Eddie Vedder like in a cool car, I'm like, I
- 1:57Speaker 1: help them buy that car.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah, you're that guy. That's like, I'm the reason you
- 2:02Speaker 4: are who you are because I support you, Right, I.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Mean not necessarily, but in a way. You look at
- 2:06Speaker 1: the Cowboys like I help pay for one of those helmets.
- 2:10Speaker 2: One of those helmets.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Okay, you know what I mean.
- 2:12Speaker 2: On the helmet, I can agree with that. Who do
- 2:14Speaker 2: you think number two is? Eddie?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Do you know this?
- 2:17Speaker 3: I don't.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Okay, then I want you to play too.
- 2:19Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Sometimes Kevin just knows stuff.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah, he that random stuff like that algorithm, yeph the
- 2:24Speaker 1: most valuable.
- 2:25Speaker 2: The second most valuable team in the NFL. The Cowboys
- 2:28Speaker 2: are at number one, fifteen point five billion.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Okay, I think I feel like the Patriots probably would
- 2:36Speaker 1: have been there at some point. Uh yeah, you're the Patriots, Kevin.
- 2:44Speaker 2: You can guess the same thing if you'd like.
- 2:45Speaker 4: No, I don't think it's Patriots. I'm gonna guess just
- 2:50Speaker 4: because of their success and where they've been it's already
- 2:52Speaker 4: been a decade now. In La the Rams.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Correct, Oh wow, The Los Angeles Rams are second at
- 2:58Speaker 2: twelve point seven, which is bizarre to.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Me though, because like, how many fans do they really have?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Fair But they are in Los Angeles and it is
- 3:09Speaker 2: a strong brand, Like those two things together matter, and
- 3:13Speaker 2: they've been good. Yeah, and they're in Los Angeles, and
- 3:17Speaker 2: that's it. That's why everybody else wants to be in
- 3:20Speaker 2: Los Angeles, even if they're not like the Anaheim Angels
- 3:23Speaker 2: of Los Angeles, the La Angels, you know, or the
- 3:27Speaker 2: Chargers they were in San Diego now there are Now
- 3:29Speaker 2: everybody just wants to be LA because you're worth more
- 3:31Speaker 2: if you're there. It's crazy. The Chargers still aren't the
- 3:34Speaker 2: San Diego Chargers, and that's starting to be the old
- 3:36Speaker 2: guy thing now the San Diego Chargers.
- 3:37Speaker 3: But it happens all the time still, like even with me, with.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Us, because they were San Diego Chargers for our life.
- 3:43Speaker 2: If they're teenagers that watch the NFL, they're like, what
- 3:47Speaker 2: do you guys keep calling that? I know it'd be
- 3:49Speaker 2: like when you were calling them the LA Raiders.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's what I forget the Raiders. I forget the Raiders
- 3:53Speaker 1: are in Vegas. That's a hard one for me to remember.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Sometimes I hit them up with Redskins still, and that's
- 3:59Speaker 2: the old some old guys sometimes a yeah, and I
- 4:03Speaker 2: have Jane Daniels, I mean the Redskins sor right, all right, Commanders.
- 4:07Speaker 3: At least they have a team instead of the football team.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I didn't mind that because it was so different than football,
- 4:13Speaker 2: football team, football club, football team. Now I'm getting soccer
- 4:17Speaker 2: mixed up.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure his team because the club is always soccer.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Oh.
- 4:21Speaker 2: If I were going to bet money on this, so
- 4:24Speaker 2: it'd be like the Washington Football I think I'd bet
- 4:26Speaker 2: five bucks on.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Club, I would too.
- 4:29Speaker 2: What is it?
- 4:29Speaker 1: My it is team?
- 4:30Speaker 2: Okay, I lose five bucks.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Because I guess club would be football. Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I like that because it was I still like some
- 4:36Speaker 2: mixed lot.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I like that big, but they're not.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I liked it because it was different, But I don't
- 4:43Speaker 2: think commander's as good.
- 4:45Speaker 3: They're not going to change, right, Remember they were talking
- 4:47Speaker 3: about that.
- 4:48Speaker 2: New owner, new owner game, but Dan Snyder, I thought
- 4:50Speaker 2: they were going to change. It's the same guy that
- 4:53Speaker 2: owns the seventy six ers, right, Commanders socked. That's a
- 4:58Speaker 2: bad name.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Well, I just yeah, it's terrible, man, What does he mean?
- 5:02Speaker 2: I'm glad they didn't go with his commander in chief.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I don't think that's why.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's what that needs to d C commanders like the
- 5:09Speaker 1: commander the military.
- 5:11Speaker 2: If it was like the DC commander generals, I think
- 5:14Speaker 2: that's what it like the military. Oh, I think it's
- 5:16Speaker 2: the military Commanders.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Yeah, DC, Mike, what is it?
- 5:20Speaker 6: It says the Command Center of the United States, Washington,
- 5:23Speaker 6: d C.
- 5:23Speaker 1: The Command Center. Got it.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Jerseys are cool, though.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I don't like them either, disgusting.
- 5:30Speaker 3: You just hate the Commanders?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yes, I like the Reds and the football team. I
- 5:35Speaker 2: just feel like the Commanders is kind of a lame logo.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And I like red, and that's kind of red.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Right, that's dark maroon.
- 5:41Speaker 2: It doesn't feel close to me like I like red,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and it doesn't feel No.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I wouldn't even call that red. Now, okay, so the.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Rams are two? What you got three? Boys?
- 5:52Speaker 1: You don't think the Patriots would be like top five?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they're top five.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'll go Patriots next.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with Steelers.
- 5:59Speaker 2: The Patriots are four. Okay, the Steelers did not make
- 6:03Speaker 2: the top five. What I would encourage you to do
- 6:05Speaker 2: is markets for the reason that the Rams were two.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Okay, I got it. Then Giants yeah yeah, I mean
- 6:12Speaker 1: my mind was kind of going there, but then a
- 6:14Speaker 1: thought night, they're so bad. They're so like, I don't
- 6:16Speaker 1: even see any money there.
- 6:18Speaker 2: The Rams at two, the Giants at three, the Patriots
- 6:21Speaker 2: at four.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Oh, I got one at five.
- 6:24Speaker 2: What the Chicago Bears probably top ten, but they did
- 6:28Speaker 2: not make the top five at number five Vegas? No, no, no, no,
- 6:32Speaker 2: you the same logic.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, the Jets.
- 6:34Speaker 1: The Jets.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you're talking about two terrible teams.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But because they're a New York ad team.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah, what about the thirty second ranked team in value
- 6:45Speaker 2: Arizona Cardinals and this team? No, but I bet you
- 6:48Speaker 2: that's thirty or thirty one. Okay, this so if the
- 6:51Speaker 2: Cowboys are at fifteen point five billion, and this is
- 6:54Speaker 2: basically Zillo, so it's not real because no one's buying it,
- 6:56Speaker 2: but they're just guessing they've zillowed this team to be
- 7:00Speaker 2: if they were sold right now at seven point four billion.
- 7:02Speaker 2: So for less than the Cowboys, I'll go to Jaguars.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good guess. Cleveland, Brown's Eddie, you're closer,
- 7:12Speaker 1: so geographically closer, I don't know. Oh the Bengals Wow?
- 7:18Speaker 4: Wow?
- 7:19Speaker 7: Really?
- 7:21Speaker 1: And it's funny because I look at the Bengals as
- 7:23Speaker 1: a pretty solid team, like ability, right, They've got good players,
- 7:29Speaker 1: and it seems like they've got a good fan base
- 7:31Speaker 1: and good money.
- 7:32Speaker 2: They have a cheap owner, This is just me talking,
- 7:34Speaker 2: so I'm not reading it from paper year because I
- 7:36Speaker 2: could be wrong on some of this. They have a
- 7:37Speaker 2: cheap owner and they were terrible until they got Joe Burrow.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I was a Bengals fan as a kid because my
- 7:44Speaker 2: favorite player was Boomer A. Sizon because he was left
- 7:46Speaker 2: handed and I was a left handed quarterback when I
- 7:48Speaker 2: was young, and that was my guy.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Massive Bengals fan. Coolest helmets had never even been to Cincinnati,
- 7:56Speaker 2: but I loved them. And then they were just really
- 7:57Speaker 2: bad for a decade maybe or forever because they didn't
- 8:01Speaker 2: spend any money.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and they're they're known for their facilities or terrible.
- 8:06Speaker 4: They get back grades on all those every year.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Hey, people get mad at us for a clip on
- 8:10Speaker 2: TikTok where we were guessing the w NBA teams. Oh no,
- 8:14Speaker 2: oh no.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I was the main guesser.
- 8:17Speaker 2: But I'm the one that knew that it would be
- 8:18Speaker 2: funny what they say. Well, people were one that's sexist?
- 8:24Speaker 1: What sex is? I was legitimately trying to answer these
- 8:26Speaker 1: questions to the fool he tried.
- 8:29Speaker 2: The question was how many w NBA teams can you
- 8:31Speaker 2: name me that he goes? I don't know for six,
- 8:33Speaker 2: but also there's not a ton no. And secondly, yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 2: if Kaylen Clark didn't play for them or somebody that's
- 8:42Speaker 2: trying to steal from Kaitlin Clark, I don't know who
- 8:45Speaker 2: they are. But then others were like, you're a sports
- 8:49Speaker 2: show and you don't even know one of the major sports.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I replied to that on my own account. I was like,
- 8:53Speaker 2: I ain't a major bot.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Come on, stop, come on stop, they.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Need a new commissioner.
- 9:00Speaker 4: I mean we could also go through like the Premier
- 9:02Speaker 4: League and soccer, which is a major sport. I couldn't
- 9:04Speaker 4: name five if.
- 9:05Speaker 2: That would be not American though, to be fair, okay,
- 9:07Speaker 2: hockey would be hard. Uh yeah, yeah it would. I'd
- 9:10Speaker 2: agree with that. Yeah, I struggle with that, and I.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Feel like I can probably get eighty percent of them,
- 9:16Speaker 1: but I wouldn't.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I'd be weak week week in hockey.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, i'd probably do like half.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Really those Canadian teams where I get mixed up, what do.
- 9:26Speaker 3: You mean, like for Whalers and the I don't that's
- 9:29Speaker 3: not the team, is it?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh yeah Hartford?
- 9:31Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:32Speaker 3: Is that a minor league team?
- 9:33Speaker 2: I know that they're green, right.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the Whaler.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Is that a new team? There we go?
- 9:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and who are that? There's a Canadians. We didn't
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah Montreal, Montreal Canadian.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Yeah you're right.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Sorry, wow, Yeah, tell me the city, Mike, would you
- 9:49Speaker 2: pull them up?
- 9:49Speaker 1: There we go?
- 9:49Speaker 2: I want to read this before we do it. I
- 9:51Speaker 2: got them, so I want to read this because I
- 9:54Speaker 2: stand by Caitlin Clark is the reason anyone cares about
- 9:56Speaker 2: the WNBA that already wasn't a massive fan of the WNBA.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I mean, they had the hard course, but they were
- 10:01Speaker 2: losing money handover fist. They were taking having to take
- 10:04Speaker 2: public transportation. It was not good for them. They were
- 10:08Speaker 2: making no money. Kaylen Clark comes around, everything changes. I'm
- 10:11Speaker 2: not saying she's the greatest of all time. I'm not
- 10:13Speaker 2: saying that she's not standing on the shoulders of other greats.
- 10:16Speaker 2: But she is the face of that league, and she
- 10:19Speaker 2: is the reason. How lucky was it for that entire
- 10:22Speaker 2: league that their agreement their their CBA. Yeah, their collective
- 10:29Speaker 2: bargain agreement happens whenever she is like here one or two,
- 10:33Speaker 2: it's the law. It's one of the most fortunate things
- 10:35Speaker 2: I have ever seen that created the minimum salary at
- 10:43Speaker 2: maybe like two fifty thousand dollars. That created that from
- 10:47Speaker 2: the max salary being that it's wide and it just
- 10:50Speaker 2: happened to time up perfectly. The biggest star in the
- 10:53Speaker 2: history of the WNBA sou but people hate honor sucks.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I never met her, try to meet her. I think
- 11:00Speaker 2: she's my favorite American athlete. Now I'm gonna it's close.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I've got a I've got a close somebody maybe overtaken.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I guess you'll nail it. I bet you you'll nail it,
- 11:09Speaker 2: nail it it could. I'm still gonna go. Kaitlin Clark
- 11:12Speaker 2: is my favorite because one, I like when people tell
- 11:14Speaker 2: somebody they're not good and they have to prove themselves.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But my number one, I'm an American athlete.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Kaylin Clark at one, but number two is
- 11:23Speaker 2: now a strong Number two.
- 11:24Speaker 1: No, I'm like, dang, yeah, I don't know if I
- 11:27Speaker 1: can nail it. And there's Dak Prescott, but would you
- 11:31Speaker 1: pick him?
- 11:32Speaker 2: And there's Drake May Yeah, I know you guys look
- 11:35Speaker 2: hard to hear guys. Kaitlin Clark my favorite American athlete.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Can you give me the sport?
- 11:41Speaker 2: My second favorite American athlete. Obviously, since you guys are
- 11:45Speaker 2: picking your guys, it's gonna be one of my guys.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I'll take it.
- 11:50Speaker 1: You got it.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he's the m v P if it was right now,
- 11:55Speaker 2: I he You don't give it to O Tani the
- 11:58Speaker 2: same reason that you don't allow Belichick to win for
- 12:01Speaker 2: it coaching in rows.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Like your guy is Pete crow Armstrong.
- 12:06Speaker 2: He's the most electric player in baseball.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I agree, but I've never ever heard you talk about him.
- 12:11Speaker 2: When do we talk about the Cubs here? Never?
- 12:13Speaker 1: We should though, all those fights happening did pretty great sucks.
- 12:17Speaker 2: You see the one in the stands and it was
- 12:18Speaker 2: riding in the running on the camera was pounding him.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So I think he's my second favorite.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Did you know his parents were actors?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Never? I saw.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I don't know where he's from. I just saw his
- 12:28Speaker 3: parents were actors.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Okay, Kaitlin Clark through eighty five career games, it's my
- 12:34Speaker 2: favorite American athlete. Kayln Clark more points than Asia Wilson
- 12:38Speaker 2: and Diana Tarassi, more assistant anyone in the history, more
- 12:44Speaker 2: threes than anyone in history, more triple doubles than anyone
- 12:47Speaker 2: in history through eighty five career games. Yeah, but she sucks.
- 12:51Speaker 2: She's the tenth best guard right now.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:55Speaker 4: You know what's crazy when they were comparing her to
- 12:57Speaker 4: Angel Reese a couple of years ago and then like
- 12:59Speaker 4: how far and says no shot at her, but just
- 13:01Speaker 4: and Caitlyn stays in the talk. And then Angel Reese
- 13:05Speaker 4: has kind of fizzled out.
- 13:06Speaker 2: You know, did you see the end of that game
- 13:07Speaker 2: they played each other, and so before it went to overtime,
- 13:11Speaker 2: all Atlanta had to do was make the lay up
- 13:13Speaker 2: and Angels missed it, and then they she misses it. Well,
- 13:16Speaker 2: Kayla Huk's laughing behind her and I don't even know
- 13:18Speaker 2: if it was because of that, but she was smiling
- 13:20Speaker 2: behind that, and so that's the story. Caitlyn Herk laughs
- 13:23Speaker 2: and then they end up winning in overtime.
- 13:26Speaker 3: That was pretty funny.
- 13:28Speaker 2: She's the superrest of stars.
- 13:29Speaker 3: She is, and she's like doesn't do anything that makes
- 13:32Speaker 3: you not like, there's nothing she stays out of it.
- 13:34Speaker 1: She I don't think I've ever heard her talk really
- 13:37Speaker 1: like about anything controversial.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the picture that just happened where the one
- 13:40Speaker 2: player is walking through angry and Caitlin Harker standing behind
- 13:43Speaker 2: signing autograph like it's a recent one.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw that.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Oh really, I don't know who the other person is,
- 13:47Speaker 2: But who does you know exactly?
- 13:48Speaker 6: It's not Clton Clark.
- 13:51Speaker 2: We got these hockey teams, yeah, Mike, give me the city.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Let me see if I can name them all, right,
- 13:55Speaker 2: Bust and the Bruins, Good John, Buffalo, the Sabers, Detroit,
- 14:01Speaker 2: Rock City, Yeah, I know, Detroit, the Red Wings, Florida.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I want, I want to say Panthers. Hold on, I'm
- 14:12Speaker 2: gonna commit to Panthers. Panthers, Panthers, Montreal Canadians, Yeah, Ottawa Senators,
- 14:20Speaker 2: Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto, Maple Leafs. Carolina Hurricane and that
- 14:31Speaker 2: is what the Hartford Whalers are. Now, by the way,
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'm not claiming I know hockey. I'm surprised that I've
- 14:40Speaker 2: gotten this mini.
- 14:42Speaker 1: So is is Carolina just hurricane or hurricane ricanes?
- 14:47Speaker 2: Multiple?
- 14:48Speaker 6: Okay?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead, Columbus, the Columbus, the Columbus. We talked
- 14:59Speaker 2: this out here. The Columbus shakes want to say, like
- 15:05Speaker 2: quakes or shakes the Columbus crew, the Columbus. Okay, I'm
- 15:11Speaker 2: gonna just pick one and let these guys see if
- 15:13Speaker 2: they can get it. The Columbus baloney sandwiches close, what
- 15:19Speaker 2: is it?
- 15:19Speaker 3: Blue jackets?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you knew that legit.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, never got that. I would have guessed one hundred
- 15:28Speaker 2: different mascots. I never got a blue jacket their mascot
- 15:32Speaker 2: whatever it is.
- 15:33Speaker 1: That they had a plane on their symbol.
- 15:35Speaker 2: The Columbus, I don't know.
- 15:37Speaker 1: You know where my mind first went. The Knights. Wasn't
- 15:40Speaker 1: there like Knights of Columbus?
- 15:43Speaker 2: Would you have got blue jackets? No? No, I didn't.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Never I would have thought that that's not like a
- 15:48Speaker 2: minor league team. It does, Okay, New Jersey, the Devil's
- 15:53Speaker 2: New York, the Rangers.
- 15:55Speaker 6: New York again, The.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Island Ye, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Senators, No, son
- 16:09Speaker 2: of a gun. Okay, hold on the Washington because doesn't
- 16:15Speaker 2: the old Russian guy who has the most goal? Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 2: pewtin is that putin? By the way, the Washington it's
- 16:25Speaker 2: not the Senators, huh, the Washington.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Man.
- 16:30Speaker 2: This one's gonna be one that I would never got.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Blue bombers or whatever that was. Blue jacket, Yeah, I
- 16:35Speaker 2: never got that one. This one it's gonna bother me.
- 16:37Speaker 2: The Washington.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Kevin Capitals.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Son of a gun. Oh that's so, would you get that?
- 16:47Speaker 1: No, No, I was thinking Sators.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Such an idiot knew that one for sure.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Go ahead, we got two more divisions.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I've missed two. Okay, go Chicago, the black Hawks, Colorado,
- 16:58Speaker 2: Avalanche Stars, Minnesota. Dang, it's not the Links, that's w NBA.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Not the Golden Gophers, because that is the football team.
- 17:13Speaker 2: It is not. It's the Minnesota Wild that is it.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Nashville Pride, there's Saint Louis Blues. Utah they have a team.
- 17:27Speaker 3: It seems new.
- 17:28Speaker 2: They have a team. Wow. So if I were Utah,
- 17:33Speaker 2: I would want to maybe a mountain or snow or
- 17:36Speaker 2: a Mormon, right I thought Mormons.
- 17:38Speaker 6: The debuted in twenty twenty four.
- 17:40Speaker 2: They're new AI.
- 17:44Speaker 1: AI because of the data centers.
- 17:46Speaker 2: It's new. Yeah, yeah, like the Utah data centers. Right.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's funny, the Utah.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Utes because it's not because Seattle's crack and I know
- 17:58Speaker 2: that's coming.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Yeah did you do?
- 18:01Speaker 2: You know? You talk an Okay, let's take let's all
- 18:05Speaker 2: make a guess and see who gets the closest based
- 18:07Speaker 2: on just context closes, because it's I think it's gonna
- 18:09Speaker 2: be something winter like the snow Caps or something. I'm
- 18:13Speaker 2: gonna go with the snow Caps.
- 18:14Speaker 3: That's a good one. Let me go with the chair lifts.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Interesting, Okay, I'll go with the same theme. Ski pass.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Okay, it is the Mammoth.
- 18:24Speaker 1: No, like, that's I never heard of that.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Okay. Winnipeg Flyers Jets. You already said fly Jets, Jets,
- 18:35Speaker 2: Jets fly got it? Okay, So Jets are the labor
- 18:39Speaker 2: are the logo that I thought was what did I
- 18:43Speaker 2: say flyers was? And that is their team? Yes? Okay,
- 18:46Speaker 2: God dang all right?
- 18:47Speaker 6: Last division?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:48Speaker 6: Anaheim uh Ducks?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Are they still the Mighty Ducks? Are they just Ducks now?
- 18:54Speaker 2: They don't do Disney anymore?
- 18:55Speaker 3: No slame?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Okay, Calgary Flames, yep, Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, San
- 19:06Speaker 2: Jose Sharks, Seattle Cracking, Vancouver Canucks and Vegas Knights Golden Knights.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Ye did you got? You missed? Two? Maybe three?
- 19:19Speaker 3: Three?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Because Utah never Columbus. What I can't believe they have
- 19:26Speaker 2: a team sandwiches and and nothing against Columbus that that
- 19:33Speaker 2: that city is nothing big and what other one guy?
- 19:35Speaker 2: That's awesome. They have a team to have a city
- 19:38Speaker 2: that's not that watching you that Wizards. I didn't or
- 19:41Speaker 2: I would have got it. You knew the capitals, Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 2: I do. Now it's easy to say once as toll,
- 19:45Speaker 2: I know mammoth now.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Most not sexist.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Uh yeah, we're just stupid. We're not sexist, not sexy.
- 19:53Speaker 6: We're just stupid.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Like football or basketball and some baseball.
- 19:58Speaker 1: We're just stupid.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Was hostile college football stadiums. I have the list here.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Have you ever been to away game at a college
- 20:05Speaker 2: football stadium where you're like, this is.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Crazy Alabama Tennessee a couple of years ago.
- 20:09Speaker 2: It also has to be a good game too.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Yeah. It was like you act like that's an away
- 20:14Speaker 1: game for you, Like you're not a Tennessee fan. You
- 20:16Speaker 1: need to stop acting like you're a Tennessee fan.
- 20:18Speaker 4: He just asked if I've been to an away game
- 20:20Speaker 4: I went as a Tennessee fan to Alabama.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Right now?
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, because he forgets sometimes that he's a Tennessee fan.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Well, I didn't forget that day. I was at the game.
- 20:32Speaker 2: So what stadium?
- 20:34Speaker 4: Brian Denny so in Alabama touchclusive and it was wild
- 20:37Speaker 4: and Tennessee was leading at half and then Alabama came
- 20:40Speaker 4: back in the second half off of a fumble that
- 20:43Speaker 4: that picked up and ran in for a touchdown and
- 20:44Speaker 4: the stadium was literally shaking.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's cool when that happens. Yeah, it feels and
- 20:49Speaker 2: is it really? I don't know what it feels like that.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I have no idea.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Sometimes you'll see like Death Valley goes, we had an
- 20:54Speaker 2: earthquake on the Richter scale the student size. My just
- 21:00Speaker 2: said there was a three point two where it's quake.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you remember what's the school we went to
- 21:04Speaker 1: where they said it shakes, Uh, yeah, Central Florida, Central Florida,
- 21:08Speaker 1: And I went to a game as just another time.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I took my family there and that they were right,
- 21:14Speaker 1: it moves.
- 21:15Speaker 2: That's called the bounce house, right, yes, yeah, and do
- 21:18Speaker 2: that thing moves. What stadium have I've been to? This
- 21:23Speaker 2: is a hard question for me because I've been, but
- 21:25Speaker 2: a lot of times we don't win and never is
- 21:27Speaker 2: that crazy because we're never in the game.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah, so.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I've been to some cool like I've been to Bryan Denny,
- 21:34Speaker 2: but it really wasn't that crazy because there wasn't that
- 21:36Speaker 2: much of a game, so no.
- 21:38Speaker 1: One went crazy.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Killed chill you've had some good home ones. He talked about, yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 3: staying a few times, but.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Uh man, I'm telling you, any away game we get killed.
- 21:52Speaker 2: That I've ever been to just about so I've not
- 21:55Speaker 2: been to one that's insane. LSU seems like it'd be
- 21:59Speaker 2: a really fun night game to go to.
- 22:01Speaker 3: They tell you, guys, I'm going to a game there
- 22:02Speaker 3: this year.
- 22:03Speaker 1: What the Tennessee is playing? LSU?
- 22:05Speaker 3: No A, Texas A and M L S.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Valley. Yeah, I Kyle Phil will be at one also, one.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Of the I've been there. Who they play, I don't remember.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Does that matter they're playing they're playing UTEP though that
- 22:21Speaker 2: it's not going to be that crazy.
- 22:22Speaker 1: No, no, no, there was. They were playing another big school,
- 22:24Speaker 1: but they were big twelve at the time. Maybe they
- 22:27Speaker 1: were playing Tech or something. I think maybe Texas Tech.
- 22:30Speaker 1: But it didn't matter that. The energy at that stadium
- 22:35Speaker 1: is crazy because everyone just gets so into it. They're
- 22:38Speaker 1: waving those towels.
- 22:39Speaker 2: They don't sit down.
- 22:40Speaker 1: They don't sit down at all.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's high in the list for me to go there.
- 22:43Speaker 2: The actual list here as I look at it, number
- 22:46Speaker 2: five is Kyle Field, Texas A and M I remember
- 22:49Speaker 2: Texas and Texas and I'm playing a couple of years
- 22:51Speaker 2: ago at Kyle Field and it was a big game
- 22:53Speaker 2: and that place just from television was wild. It felt
- 22:58Speaker 2: through you could feel it that the TV has been
- 22:59Speaker 2: a couple games I've watched. One was a soccer game
- 23:01Speaker 2: Mexico England last year.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that was good that one. You could feel
- 23:04Speaker 3: the World Cup mothers so ago.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't again, don't. I don't even follow the
- 23:10Speaker 2: Mammoth and soccer. And I turned that game on and
- 23:15Speaker 2: you could just feel how electric, how intense that stadium
- 23:20Speaker 2: was and that Texas Texas A and m game. I
- 23:23Speaker 2: felt that too, and it was awesome and they were
- 23:25Speaker 2: walking in and then Texas just dog walked them.
- 23:28Speaker 6: They did.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Was that the first time they played like ten years
- 23:30Speaker 2: or something too. It was a time where it was
- 23:33Speaker 2: a lot of fun up until about five minutes in
- 23:35Speaker 2: the game. And I was root for am because you
- 23:36Speaker 2: know me, hey, Texas number four, Bryant Denny, Alabama number three,
- 23:41Speaker 2: Beaver Stadium, Penn State. All I think about when I
- 23:45Speaker 2: think of Penn State, how crazy it is.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Is dum.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Was that song Mike.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I got call No?
- 24:07Speaker 2: I mean I can because it's Also, whenever you play
- 24:11Speaker 2: college football, they play it it's mobile. I think it's mobamba.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Uh, I think it's what it called.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Yeah, actually, let me oh yeah, I'm looking for a
- 24:20Speaker 2: song that Penn State plays at halftime or during the
- 24:23Speaker 2: game that's like their big hype song. I think it's
- 24:25Speaker 2: something Mobamba. Let me check that.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Mobamba by check West has been a big hype
- 24:35Speaker 1: song there.
- 24:36Speaker 2: But if you're thinking of the one that practically feels synonymous,
- 24:40Speaker 2: that's that one.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Definitely, Yeah, that's crazy.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Number two is the Horseshoe Ohio State number one Tiger
- 24:52Speaker 2: Stadium l s u Oh yeah. Carolina makes the list
- 24:56Speaker 2: of nine we got invited, let's go?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Well games should we go to?
- 25:02Speaker 2: If I were to take up I'm not gonna say
- 25:05Speaker 2: my friends. I have a couple friends, but I would
- 25:08Speaker 2: say I would say that he isn't a friend, but
- 25:12Speaker 2: somebody I could reach out to for sure, right, I
- 25:15Speaker 2: mean for South Carolina Beemer did you No, he did,
- 25:19Speaker 2: But I'm saying we don't have a semi constant communication,
- 25:23Speaker 2: So we don't. We don't have a constant we don't
- 25:24Speaker 2: even have a semi But he hit me up before
- 25:26Speaker 2: and been like, hey do you know Sam Hunt. I
- 25:28Speaker 2: was like, I do, so I got a whole family.
- 25:30Speaker 2: There was Sam right perfect and then he texted me,
- 25:32Speaker 2: you say, it's been a few years that you've been
- 25:34Speaker 2: here come to a game. So it's random, and but
- 25:37Speaker 2: I feel like I could text him, but I would
- 25:40Speaker 2: not ask him for like one of their big games. Yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 2: I would ask him for like a mid SEC game,
- 25:48Speaker 2: like because if they were playing Tennessee or I'm out,
- 25:53Speaker 2: I don't want to have to be the focus of
- 25:56Speaker 2: anything about that or him to feel like he has to, hey,
- 25:59Speaker 2: good to see you, because they have to for a
- 26:00Speaker 2: second if they're like, you know, to be hospitable to you.
- 26:04Speaker 2: So what like a Missouri maybe yeah, maybe something like
- 26:07Speaker 2: that and something not at the very very end of
- 26:09Speaker 2: the year, Mississippi State, that would be a good one.
- 26:14Speaker 2: So here's where we could go if we wanted to go.
- 26:17Speaker 2: And I feel like we could get sweeter sideline just
- 26:19Speaker 2: by asking, I mean to buy me texting. I think
- 26:22Speaker 2: we could go to Beemer, South Carolina.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that'd be cool.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we could probably put the pads on the play
- 26:28Speaker 2: at Kansas.
- 26:31Speaker 1: That'd be great. Like, let me kick I talk.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I talked to Lance coach Lapwold once a week probably.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I love that guy.
- 26:39Speaker 2: And when he's in town, we had dinner and so, yes,
- 26:42Speaker 2: we could do that. I could do that at Purdue
- 26:47Speaker 2: and there's still a building program because when Barry Odom
- 26:51Speaker 2: went in, they were garbage. He left you no v
- 26:54Speaker 2: and it's like I got it's a lot of work.
- 26:56Speaker 2: So but we could go to Purdue and watch and
- 26:58Speaker 2: get on the sideline there as like friends of the coach.
- 27:01Speaker 2: We could go to Cincinnati.
- 27:04Speaker 1: That stadium was cool, close, not a far drive.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Because I know him a little better. And when they
- 27:12Speaker 2: came to the Opry, I like, I performed and they
- 27:15Speaker 2: came with me like Sodderfield. No, but they met me.
- 27:20Speaker 2: They're not took him backstage. Yeah, like Cincinnati, we could
- 27:23Speaker 2: do that that way. Uh, Appalachian State we could do.
- 27:30Speaker 4: I still want to go there because I've just heard
- 27:32Speaker 4: that campus is beautiful, but it's hard to get to
- 27:34Speaker 4: right it's in the.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Middle of nowhere.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Arkansas, we could do.
- 27:39Speaker 3: That's what you want to do.
- 27:40Speaker 2: It's just a rough relationship right now. I don't even know.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I don't know Silverfield. I'm sure he's nice. I text
- 27:45Speaker 2: him happier today that's about it.
- 27:47Speaker 3: You did nice.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That's nice to you. Yeah, did you do an emoji
- 27:50Speaker 1: in that or just happy birthday? Or was it the
- 27:52Speaker 1: one where automatically just does balloons on the whole screen.
- 27:55Speaker 5: You know what?
- 27:55Speaker 2: That might have popped up on his Let me see
- 27:59Speaker 2: what I said to him.
- 28:00Speaker 1: It shakes the phone, come up.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Let's see. I said, happy birthday, coach, Hope, it's a
- 28:09Speaker 2: great one. He said, thanks, Bobby. Working hard to get
- 28:10Speaker 2: this place right back. No, get it back right, be
- 28:13Speaker 2: working hard to get this place back right. So. I
- 28:16Speaker 2: don't know him, but I know people who know him well.
- 28:19Speaker 2: They say he's a nice guy. But I just I'm
- 28:22Speaker 2: not good with the athletic director right now. But yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 2: we could probably do that.
- 28:26Speaker 1: But you know what, which other one we can probably do?
- 28:29Speaker 1: We can do two of us Akron. How you bought
- 28:35Speaker 1: those tickets?
- 28:36Speaker 2: That's not on the sideline, that's just season tickets.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I know, We'll just go to the game sitting in
- 28:39Speaker 1: your game.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I'm not going I was saying, like, oh, connections, Like
- 28:45Speaker 2: what strings could I pull to get us on the
- 28:48Speaker 2: sideline or filled passes to experience it? I would I
- 28:52Speaker 2: think it would be a good friend of me to
- 28:54Speaker 2: go to our Kansas a game.
- 28:56Speaker 3: That would be awesome. They had that new stadium too, right,
- 28:59Speaker 3: is it done?
- 29:00Speaker 2: I think this year last year, like that'd be a
- 29:03Speaker 2: good friend of me to do that. But it's cold
- 29:06Speaker 2: and far.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Not always early in the season. Should be nice and
- 29:09Speaker 1: comfortable early.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Yeah, they got a couple good early games.
- 29:13Speaker 1: We're gonna really try to go to some games.
- 29:15Speaker 2: That's the thing. No, Okay, this is us saying we
- 29:18Speaker 2: should go. We should hang out sometime. I would like to.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Because I mean, as you were talking, I'm like, wow,
- 29:24Speaker 1: that'd be cool.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I'm thinking about going to the Arkansas opener, but I
- 29:28Speaker 2: won't it's a bad game. But we literally have a
- 29:32Speaker 2: house right by the football stadium.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that's perfect. We could tail gate there.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Oh no, you can't.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yes, dude, I'll smoke sauce.
- 29:41Speaker 2: You look out the door in the football stadium. It's
- 29:43Speaker 2: the top of the it's right but that close.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And we need to go. That's what we need to do.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Easy.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Can we take all the kids and the family?
- 29:51Speaker 3: Yeah, big house, you know, you know at all?
- 29:57Speaker 2: Okay, Hey, what happened to your sauca? By the way,
- 30:00Speaker 2: did you get Eddie sausa.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Well I perched it, purchased it from Eddie. Yeah on Monday, right, Yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 3: did you enjoy it?
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:07Speaker 4: I remember it paid you purchased it and everything, and
- 30:08Speaker 4: then I stuck it in the fridge because I had
- 30:10Speaker 4: to go to a doctor that day. And I was like,
- 30:11Speaker 4: I'll get it tomorrow and bring it home because I
- 30:12Speaker 4: gotta say in the fridge, come back on Tuesday.
- 30:15Speaker 3: It's gone, dude, no way.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Somebody stole your salsa.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I have a drawer in that fridge that I always
- 30:22Speaker 3: put my food in, like for the week.
- 30:23Speaker 4: I always bring in a food for the week every Monday,
- 30:26Speaker 4: and that's where I put it and everything else.
- 30:28Speaker 3: All my other food was there. The salsa is gone.
- 30:32Speaker 1: That's crazy a little bit and make you feel good.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I mean I feel terrible for Kevin. Terrible Kevin. You
- 30:39Speaker 1: have nothing to do with this.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Like this, you're trying to double down on something.
- 30:41Speaker 1: No, dude. On the contrary, I will get you another
- 30:44Speaker 1: one on the house.
- 30:46Speaker 2: That's nice. Take it on the media.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I was gonna say it, Okay, I'll take leaving anything
- 30:50Speaker 3: in that fridge.
- 30:50Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Oh, your sauca is a hit apparently.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Wow, So much that somebody stole it.
- 30:55Speaker 2: His sausa is a hit because it's so hyped.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the Cowboys.
- 31:01Speaker 2: It can never be as good as the hype we've
- 31:03Speaker 2: built around it. And it's really good, so you don't, Oh,
- 31:05Speaker 2: you could do it.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I really like it.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I think it's as good as good as the hype.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I think it's fantastic, and I think partially I know
- 31:12Speaker 2: it's really good because it's so fresh, and that messes
- 31:15Speaker 2: with my mind. I'm going, this is absolutely fresh.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It just made it.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, it's it's almost like you put the pepper
- 31:20Speaker 2: and stuff in my mouth and smashed him in my mouth.
- 31:22Speaker 2: That's how fresh it is. Yeah, like you put all
- 31:23Speaker 2: the angers in my mouth then took my channer to
- 31:24Speaker 2: hit it, helping you choo.
- 31:26Speaker 3: He made it.
- 31:27Speaker 2: You made it in there, and he switched it around
- 31:30Speaker 2: in my mouth, and you made me swallow it.
- 31:32Speaker 1: That's why it's so good.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's how fresh it is, Like you picked it.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I'm laying on the ground in the garden as he
- 31:36Speaker 2: picks it and switches it in my mouth.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Yeah that's pretty good. That's pretty fresh.
- 31:40Speaker 2: But have you not had it? No?
- 31:42Speaker 3: I had one last week even, and I was like, dude,
- 31:44Speaker 3: I want another one. I'll bring it home.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Okay, I'll make it. I'm making a batch next week.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'll get you another one.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I don't know if I told you we'll take a break,
- 31:50Speaker 2: but I'm ninety nine point nine percent positive Driftkings is
- 31:54Speaker 2: coming back on his main sponsor. What good.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Shoot, Maybe I shouldn't hit him up on that customer
- 32:00Speaker 1: service in that hut five dollars stopped doing that.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Let's go. So I don't have any details yet, but
- 32:08Speaker 2: and this is every year. It's what we've been able
- 32:10Speaker 2: to do. Every year. We kept them up on our
- 32:12Speaker 2: page as sponsor. Oh it's been such a big part
- 32:14Speaker 2: of this show for so long. But there's always like
- 32:16Speaker 2: three months where there's no sports going on where they go.
- 32:19Speaker 2: We'll have to re evaluate. We do every single year,
- 32:21Speaker 2: and then we wonder, oh, boy, are they coming back?
- 32:23Speaker 1: So you know what, I crop them out. Do you
- 32:25Speaker 1: want me to widen the camera up so we can
- 32:26Speaker 1: get the sponsor in?
- 32:30Speaker 3: That is awesome?
- 32:31Speaker 2: Well, they're not right now because there's nothing. There's nothing
- 32:33Speaker 2: to gamble on.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Oh there's ready.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I put features out there. That's awesome. Out of
- 32:40Speaker 3: the draft Kings.
- 32:41Speaker 2: All right, there you go, take a break.
- 32:45Speaker 7: All right, guys, we got a mail bag. Hey, twenty
- 32:47Speaker 7: five whistles. My wife thinks I just stop wearing jerseys
- 32:51Speaker 7: because I'm forty. She says wearing athletes jersey as an
- 32:54Speaker 7: adult is embarrassing unless you're actually going to the game.
- 32:57Speaker 7: I think she's completely wrong. At what age does wearing
- 33:00Speaker 7: a jersey become unacceptable? If ever signed jersey, Jeff, I.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Can start here. I think I'm kind of torn on
- 33:12Speaker 1: this one because I like jerseys, like I enjoy buying jerseys,
- 33:18Speaker 1: like I am tempted to buy a George Pickens jersey.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Really yeah, because that's that's a recent one. You know
- 33:25Speaker 1: where I'm kind of looking at because I have a
- 33:27Speaker 1: Ceedee Lamb jersey, I have a Dak jersey. I have
- 33:29Speaker 1: a Zeke Elliott jersey. I don't wear the Zeke one anymore,
- 33:33Speaker 1: but I'm thinking about getting to George Pickens jersey because
- 33:36Speaker 1: I like wearing jerseys. But do I feel stupid? Like
- 33:40Speaker 1: here's the deal. When I'm at the house, I wear
- 33:41Speaker 1: the jersey. If I gotta go to the grocery store,
- 33:43Speaker 1: I'll take it off.
- 33:44Speaker 3: And that's important.
- 33:45Speaker 4: It's like where you wear the jersey, Yes, what about
- 33:48Speaker 4: when you go to a game, would you wear the jersey?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Probably not, like you just wear like a shirt. I
- 33:53Speaker 1: wear a shirt that says Dallas Cowboys.
- 33:56Speaker 7: That's where you can wear the jersey and not get
- 33:58Speaker 7: any shame here, you think. So that's the only place
- 34:00Speaker 7: I feel like, as somebody in our age range could
- 34:04Speaker 7: wear a jersey and it not even be an issue.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Guys, this is not fair at all. But when I
- 34:08Speaker 1: see an older man at a college game wearing a
- 34:13Speaker 1: jersey like that just grosses me out.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Just like college is a little different though for sure,
- 34:20Speaker 4: especially because college is just like he doesn't have their
- 34:22Speaker 4: name on it.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Usually it's just a number, or.
- 34:25Speaker 1: They're still wearing the tebow jersey like that was so
- 34:27Speaker 1: long ago.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 34:29Speaker 4: I think has Bobby said this in the past, and
- 34:33Speaker 4: I've heard it somewhere and I kind of agree with it.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Where it's like, you can wear the jersey if the
- 34:37Speaker 4: players older than you.
- 34:39Speaker 1: But okay, so great, I can wear a Joe Montanna jersey.
- 34:42Speaker 4: What a Niners fan I'm saying, though, Or for the Cowboys,
- 34:47Speaker 4: say like Troy because then at the game, because then
- 34:50Speaker 4: it doesn't look as weird. Like, but if you're wearing
- 34:52Speaker 4: like a twenty two year old kid, like you know,
- 34:55Speaker 4: they just got drafted Caleb Downs, I'd be like kind
- 34:58Speaker 4: of like the same age as your SO doesn't.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Like Michah Parsons, He's he was awesome. Why wouldn't I
- 35:05Speaker 1: want to wear a Micah Parsons jersey to support Micah Parsons.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Yeah, as a girl, man, I don't wear jerseys as
- 35:12Speaker 4: a girl. As a girl, you should wear all the jerseys.
- 35:16Speaker 4: I don't really wear jerseys. I have a couple Brady
- 35:18Speaker 4: of course and Gronk, I think, but I'm I'm never
- 35:22Speaker 4: older than you both.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Yeah older.
- 35:24Speaker 4: I think Gronk's just a year or two older. Okay,
- 35:26Speaker 4: but I've never been a huge jersey guy. I just
- 35:28Speaker 4: don't think they're very comfortable. But going to a game
- 35:31Speaker 4: and wearing a jersey, to me, it's just I can't
- 35:34Speaker 4: do it, okay as.
- 35:35Speaker 3: A grown man, as an adult.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Hippocrit alert hit in my hippocrid alert because he hippocrit
- 35:41Speaker 1: pull over. Pull over, And I'll tell you why. When
- 35:44Speaker 1: we went to the Cowboys game, you hypocrite, you wore
- 35:47Speaker 1: Darryl Johnston's jersey.
- 35:49Speaker 3: But that was a gift you remember, team Do you
- 35:52Speaker 3: remember that was a gift by a friend?
- 35:54Speaker 2: Wait?
- 35:55Speaker 7: What was it?
- 35:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I was a gift from a friend. I can't
- 35:57Speaker 3: even remember what it was.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Cool.
- 35:58Speaker 3: I was just trying to support you, all right, And you, Mike, it.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Wasn't a gift. You asked a friend, I'm going to
- 36:04Speaker 1: a Cowboys game. Do you have a jersey I can borrow?
- 36:06Speaker 3: All Yeah, I think it's the last jersey I ever
- 36:11Speaker 3: wore to a game.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Baseball's okay, but football, for some reason, it's just not
- 36:15Speaker 4: as a grown man.
- 36:15Speaker 1: You should be ashamed.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Dude.
- 36:17Speaker 1: You sat here with a microphone in front of your
- 36:19Speaker 1: face talking about how as a grown man you can't
- 36:21Speaker 1: wear a jersey and you wore one. How long ago
- 36:24Speaker 1: was that, Mike? Two years ago?
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, well that was two years ago. This is me now, Okay,
- 36:31Speaker 3: I've grown.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Yeah, this is before the kid. That was before the kids.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Now with the kids, I'm like, no, I can't wear
- 36:36Speaker 4: a jersey.
- 36:37Speaker 1: What's your take, Mike.
- 36:39Speaker 7: I think if you go to the game, you can
- 36:41Speaker 7: wear a jersey no matter your age, whether you're five
- 36:43Speaker 7: or fifty, wear the jersey. Even if the player is
- 36:45Speaker 7: younger than you. I think at a sporting of it
- 36:48Speaker 7: is fine. If you go out to a bar, I'd
- 36:51Speaker 7: say after twenty two, you can't wear a jersey.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Twenty two, twenty two soon.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I mean, you're right, you guys are right, though it
- 37:02Speaker 1: does depend where you are a bar man. That's tough, Mike, because,
- 37:06Speaker 1: like I mean, I don't go to bars, so a
- 37:10Speaker 1: sports bar. I've been to a sports bar watching the
- 37:12Speaker 1: game before. Not gonna wear a jersey. The house really
- 37:16Speaker 1: is the only place that I feel comfortable wearing my jersey.
- 37:18Speaker 3: I think that's the worst place you could wear a jersey.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Why.
- 37:25Speaker 7: I'm not by my cycle loser if I do it, though,
- 37:27Speaker 7: because I'm sitting on my couch and I'm in a jersey.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 37:30Speaker 7: You think about it, like, Okay, I'm dressed like the player,
- 37:33Speaker 7: and I'm sitting here in my couch, and I got
- 37:35Speaker 7: my dreams and I got my chips. But to hate
- 37:37Speaker 7: it feel ridiculous, But it is acceptable. It'd be no
- 37:40Speaker 7: different than me dressing up like a superhero and Halloween.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Right. Does it help that I have all my kids
- 37:47Speaker 1: and we all dress up.
- 37:48Speaker 2: That helps? Yeah? That helps.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I've made Yeah, I've made it a point to where
- 37:54Speaker 1: on game days and I kind of like guilt them
- 37:56Speaker 1: into a little bit because sometimes, like on Sundays, there's
- 37:59Speaker 1: one of my boys out of my four boys, one
- 38:01Speaker 1: of them, as soon as we get home from church
- 38:03Speaker 1: or if they have a noon game whatever, he runs upstairs,
- 38:05Speaker 1: gets his jersey on. He's ready to go.
- 38:07Speaker 3: The other three.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Like, dad, do we have to? But I make it
- 38:11Speaker 1: a big deal Sundays, boys, are you not wearing your
- 38:15Speaker 1: jerseys like the Cowboys playing thirty minutes? Get your jerseys on?
- 38:19Speaker 1: And then they kind of get pumped about it.
- 38:20Speaker 4: That's cool, that is cool, that whole aspect of it.
- 38:23Speaker 4: But if you didn't have kids that you think you
- 38:24Speaker 4: would still do it?
- 38:26Speaker 1: Probably not?
- 38:27Speaker 2: All right?
- 38:27Speaker 3: Then that's good. That's all right.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Then are you guys flag like people in front of
- 38:32Speaker 1: your house?
- 38:33Speaker 6: I was about to order a flag for our house.
- 38:36Speaker 7: I had a pole already set up, and I'm like,
- 38:38Speaker 7: I need to order my flag and get my Texas flag.
- 38:41Speaker 3: What pole?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Like, is it one of the poles you you kind
- 38:43Speaker 1: of screw into the walls.
- 38:44Speaker 7: It's already screwed in, so all all I have to
- 38:47Speaker 7: do is click it on Amazon and then I just
- 38:49Speaker 7: throw it up there, and I'm like, should I do that?
- 38:51Speaker 7: Then what if somebody doesn't like my team and they
- 38:53Speaker 7: like target my house and whatnot.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I don't think that's its fag.
- 38:57Speaker 4: I was like that neighborhood, then, yeah, where do you live?
- 39:02Speaker 4: I buy the little ones like that are in the ground,
- 39:05Speaker 4: not the one on the house.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Oh well that those don't count. The yard decoration things.
- 39:10Speaker 3: That's all. Like the flags graduate my student goes to,
- 39:16Speaker 3: that's all I have.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Yeah, uh no. At my old house, the when I
- 39:22Speaker 1: lived at before this, I did have what Mike's talking
- 39:24Speaker 1: about were you screwed into the wall and I just
- 39:26Speaker 1: had an old American flag on there. And I thought
- 39:29Speaker 1: about one year doing a Cowboys flag, but I just
- 39:33Speaker 1: I don't think I can be that person.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Like it's just too much.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Like I drive by some houses and then the
- 39:38Speaker 1: like Oregon Ducks, I'm like, oh, that's random. There's a
- 39:41Speaker 1: house I drive by almost every morning and they have
- 39:44Speaker 1: a Chicago Cubs flag that they wave around.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I don't know if they wave around or they it's
- 39:52Speaker 3: on the house. Okay, that's normal.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:55Speaker 7: I didn't even consider getting a Dallas to one because
- 39:57Speaker 7: I was like if I put one up, somebody's going
- 39:58Speaker 7: to egg my house for sure.
- 40:02Speaker 3: So you get Texas or you're gonna get Texas.
- 40:04Speaker 6: I think I'm gonna get Texas.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Yeah, okay. So if you get a flag, Kevin, which
- 40:08Speaker 1: one are you put in?
- 40:09Speaker 5: Uh?
- 40:10Speaker 3: Oh, the Patriots?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Which one do you have in your yard? In your
- 40:12Speaker 1: little uh next to the troll?
- 40:14Speaker 3: Right right now?
- 40:16Speaker 1: What do you call it?
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 40:17Speaker 3: No, red Sox, that's what you have now right now. No,
- 40:23Speaker 3: actually we might even have our Fourth of.
- 40:24Speaker 1: July one till do you they're interchangeable?
- 40:28Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you can take them off, just like with
- 40:30Speaker 4: all just like the one in the house. You can
- 40:31Speaker 4: buy like the little ones anywhere you can get them.
- 40:33Speaker 4: You know, it's springtime, it's all that stuff.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Is happening here. What did you change him for the season?
- 40:40Speaker 4: I do the sports ones. My wife does the other one,
- 40:44Speaker 4: and I let her know football season is coming. So
- 40:47Speaker 4: that flag is getting removed very soon, just so you know.
- 40:49Speaker 1: So what's right now? The summer flag? Yeah? What does
- 40:52Speaker 1: that look like? It has like a sun?
- 40:54Speaker 3: No, it's just got the it's the fourth of July one.
- 40:56Speaker 4: You it's got like a truck with like the the
- 40:59Speaker 4: fourth of July, the stars and stripes, all that kind
- 41:01Speaker 4: of suff you the rainbow flag in June that's in
- 41:04Speaker 4: the back of the house.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's for you. Okay, that's interesting. I did
- 41:09Speaker 1: want to give you guys a kind of update on
- 41:11Speaker 1: what we talked about last time. I had some friends
- 41:14Speaker 1: coming to town. They hit me up. They're like, man,
- 41:18Speaker 1: i'd like to see you, like, but we're there to drink,
- 41:20Speaker 1: Like we'd like to go meet at a bar someplace,
- 41:22Speaker 1: and I'm like, I don't go to bars. So I
- 41:24Speaker 1: asked you guys, like, what you thought, Mike. I loved
- 41:27Speaker 1: your idea of going to a rooftop. I thought about that,
- 41:29Speaker 1: but the only rooftops really were downtown, and I just
- 41:34Speaker 1: had the better idea because they went to They were
- 41:35Speaker 1: staying around the Vanderbilt area, which is like called midtown
- 41:38Speaker 1: yeah for people that don't know. So I told them,
- 41:41Speaker 1: why don't we just go somewhere where you are? And
- 41:43Speaker 1: I found a place called Odie's the best, Okay, So
- 41:48Speaker 1: I said, meet me at odies. So we went to ODIs.
- 41:52Speaker 1: They brought their daughter who's going to college, but she's
- 41:56Speaker 1: like nineteen and so they didn't allow her in there.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Weren't able to go to Odie's. Oh really no. But
- 42:03Speaker 1: here's the thing, guys. We ended up going across the
- 42:05Speaker 1: street to some brewery. They said, all ages, you're fine,
- 42:08Speaker 1: you can go in there. It was probably six o'clock,
- 42:11Speaker 1: almost seven when we got there. Guys, it was dead.
- 42:15Speaker 1: All the bars down there were dead. No one was
- 42:18Speaker 1: out there drinking. I know it's been forever since I've
- 42:23Speaker 1: been out, but what's happening.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I think was this Saturday night last week?
- 42:26Speaker 1: Saturday night last week?
- 42:27Speaker 4: So there was a concert at Stable Center, I mean
- 42:29Speaker 4: Stable Center, Nissan Stadium.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Boo Fighters. We was so what the whole city goes?
- 42:33Speaker 4: And then PBR was at Bridge Zone. I think everyone
- 42:37Speaker 4: was just downtown because my mom went to the concert
- 42:41Speaker 4: at Nissan and she said downtown was insane.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Okay, that makes sense.
- 42:45Speaker 3: But I am surprised it was still that dead in August, guys.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I'm talking about nobody in there at any place. I
- 42:51Speaker 1: saw Riley Green's, Duck Blind or whatever that's called. Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I didn't know those places were over there, by the way,
- 42:57Speaker 1: I thought, because ODI's is what old a Minion's bar,
- 43:01Speaker 1: that's all West End. I didn't realize that's not downtown.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why it's great too, because it's off downtown.
- 43:08Speaker 4: But they get packed to Odie's is a great spot.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Losers, All those dude completely empty. I parked in front
- 43:14Speaker 1: of the bar.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Really, I could park there, that's surprising.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yeah, So how did it go? It was great, We
- 43:21Speaker 1: caught up.
- 43:22Speaker 3: We it was mellow. You guys were sitting the whole time.
- 43:25Speaker 1: We weren't yelling, like it was exactly what I wanted.
- 43:28Speaker 1: But at the same time, they were like, wow, the
- 43:30Speaker 1: city's kind of dead.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Dang, did they go downtown at all?
- 43:33Speaker 2: They?
- 43:33Speaker 1: I think they went later on that night, but I didn't.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I was, you know, I was only to do two
- 43:37Speaker 1: hours with them. But I realized, like, that's I don't know. Again,
- 43:42Speaker 1: it's been a long time since I've gone out there,
- 43:45Speaker 1: and I figured we'd be kind of struggling to find
- 43:48Speaker 1: a place where we can actually talk. Yeah, wasn't the case. Boys,
- 43:52Speaker 1: Well future future spot is Odie's cool. Oh yeah, Odie
- 43:56Speaker 1: is awesome.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Yeah, you love it.
- 43:58Speaker 4: You got a big old patio area, like in the back.
- 44:00Speaker 4: There's a pontoon inside that you can sit in, a
- 44:02Speaker 4: real like a boat. Yeah, a real pontoon and like
- 44:04Speaker 4: it faces where the band plays inside.
- 44:06Speaker 1: It's awesome, that's cool.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a fun place.
- 44:08Speaker 1: My col long has e Ben since you've been down there.
- 44:12Speaker 7: I mean when we have friends and family come in,
- 44:15Speaker 7: we take them down there. So maybe like earlier this summer.
- 44:17Speaker 7: But yeah, drinks, so I'm like getting a water.
- 44:19Speaker 1: That's true.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Dang, it's gotta be tough, dude.
- 44:21Speaker 6: It's really not for me anymore.
- 44:23Speaker 1: What not drinking.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like being in that environment and not drinking.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I feel dude, you know where I am. I've graduated
- 44:31Speaker 1: to where when I would go to dinner with the kids,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I'd get a beer. Now it's like I'm eating so
- 44:38Speaker 1: I'm like, skip the beer one. It's gonna it's gonna
- 44:40Speaker 1: jack the price up of our dinner tab. Like every
- 44:43Speaker 1: single time if me and my wife have one beverage,
- 44:45Speaker 1: it's gonna be like it pushes it over the level
- 44:47Speaker 1: where you're like, what yep, this cost is how much?
- 44:51Speaker 1: So now I just get water or like a doctor pepper.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Dan.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I know I've become that guy.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Will I get there one day? Yes, because I'm like,
- 45:01Speaker 4: give me a margarita.
- 45:03Speaker 1: With all your kids there, all my kids there. Hey, Mike,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you know what I just saw last night? I saw
- 45:09Speaker 1: the Travis Barker documentary.
- 45:10Speaker 6: What did you think about it?
- 45:11Speaker 1: Dude? I loved it. I'm a casual blank Oney A
- 45:15Speaker 1: two fan. I've actually seen them live. I was in Vegas,
- 45:21Speaker 1: uh like ten years ago and they were playing a
- 45:25Speaker 1: pool party at the Cosmo and we had passes to it,
- 45:28Speaker 1: no plans to go at all to it, but they're like,
- 45:31Speaker 1: if you guys want to go to blank Oney two,
- 45:32Speaker 1: you can't hear your passes. Dude. It was one of
- 45:35Speaker 1: the best concerts I've ever been to, like because you realize, one,
- 45:39Speaker 1: you know all those songs, right, blah blah blah whatever.
- 45:41Speaker 1: But like Travis Barker, I'll never forget watching him play,
- 45:45Speaker 1: and dude, he really is so so freaking good, Like
- 45:50Speaker 1: he's almost like the star of the man. If you
- 45:52Speaker 1: get past the song, yes, like if you're jamming two
- 45:55Speaker 1: fell in Love with a Girl, if you're jamming to
- 45:57Speaker 1: those songs, yes, you can get lost in like this
- 45:59Speaker 1: is cool. I love Blnkland too, But if you're watching
- 46:02Speaker 1: them perform, your eyes gravitate to Travis Barker playing the drums.
- 46:06Speaker 7: Yeah, I've seen him multiple times, and it's crazy at
- 46:10Speaker 7: the times he has like just a solo where it's
- 46:12Speaker 7: like just him plague and they have him on that
- 46:14Speaker 7: revolving ball and he just like goes to like they
- 46:17Speaker 7: like raise him up and then he goes all the
- 46:19Speaker 7: way around three sixty degrees.
- 46:20Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we were at that because you were at
- 46:23Speaker 4: the one in Nashville here a couple of years ago. Right, Yeah,
- 46:24Speaker 4: I was that that one too.
- 46:25Speaker 1: You went to that one.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think I'm as like big Big as
- 46:30Speaker 3: a fan.
- 46:30Speaker 6: I mean it's literally wearing a blank, yes, but.
- 46:34Speaker 3: They are my favorite band of all time too.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Mike and I what are you talking about? Is this
- 46:39Speaker 1: like Tennessee Dude?
- 46:39Speaker 4: No, you have to stop what I've never play, I've
- 46:45Speaker 4: never heard you talk about because when do you ever
- 46:47Speaker 4: hear me talk about like my favorite band ever?
- 46:50Speaker 1: Okay, we got Mike.
- 46:51Speaker 3: We don't talk about Mike.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Mike, can you do a test?
- 46:53Speaker 2: Like?
- 46:53Speaker 3: I know, Mike, I know we sure we don't talk music.
- 46:56Speaker 1: I know for sure. One Mike, he doesn't have to
- 46:58Speaker 1: prove anything to me. Yeah is blank two massive fan? Yeah, Mike,
- 47:04Speaker 1: test him? What album is damn it on?
- 47:07Speaker 3: Okay, come on Gosh.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Yes, it's one of their biggest songs. I know, but
- 47:12Speaker 4: I'm not good with the album names. I'm not a
- 47:14Speaker 4: music junkie. That's not what I'm saying. But this is
- 47:18Speaker 4: your favorite Ranch take off your pants and jacket.
- 47:21Speaker 6: It was Dude Ranch, Jooter Ranch.
- 47:23Speaker 1: But you guess too.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Oh, I said Dude Ranch first.
- 47:26Speaker 4: But they're they're self titled until three. That album is
- 47:30Speaker 4: my favorite album. Does that help sure?
- 47:34Speaker 2: You?
- 47:35Speaker 1: What about you? Does that help?
- 47:37Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 47:37Speaker 2: That helps?
- 47:38Speaker 7: That kind of tells me, like what time period you
- 47:40Speaker 7: got into them, because like I was probably more in
- 47:43Speaker 7: the Enema of the State era, Like I remember in
- 47:45Speaker 7: third grade loving Blankelin eighty two, and then they had
- 47:48Speaker 7: like this different wave with with MTV where a bunch
- 47:51Speaker 7: of people once that self.
- 47:51Speaker 6: Title came out, we're huge fans.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Yeah, that's just a great album, like front to back.
- 47:56Speaker 4: You can listen to that album, dude.
- 47:58Speaker 1: One thing I didn't know about I didn't know how
- 48:00Speaker 1: he joined the band, and I didn't realize that their
- 48:03Speaker 1: drummer had had to leave for personal family reasons. Was
- 48:08Speaker 1: it was it one gig?
- 48:10Speaker 7: Yeah, well he's been kind of around that time. It
- 48:12Speaker 7: was a drummer named Scott and they were kind of
- 48:14Speaker 7: like on the outs a little bit. He was getting
- 48:16Speaker 7: kind of sketchy about touring, like when they were starting
- 48:18Speaker 7: to go overseas, so he was kind of flaky. And
- 48:20Speaker 7: then it was just that one show that he like
- 48:22Speaker 7: couldn't do, and then they had Travis Barker phil In
- 48:24Speaker 7: and then.
- 48:25Speaker 1: The rest is history.
- 48:26Speaker 3: All Right, you're out.
- 48:27Speaker 5: Man.
- 48:27Speaker 3: The crazy part was seeing him dressed in the aqua
- 48:30Speaker 3: the aqua back.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I'm like, what, that's so funny. That was Barker, Dude.
- 48:35Speaker 1: That reminded me of when and Brandon's not here, but
- 48:37Speaker 1: he would love the story when Raging Idiots. When Brandon
- 48:40Speaker 1: joined the Raging Idiots, Uh, he showed up to the
- 48:42Speaker 1: gig and we were like, all right, you got to
- 48:44Speaker 1: put on your jumpsuit. He was so mad. I remember
- 48:47Speaker 1: Brandon be like, we look stupid, dude, we look stupid
- 48:50Speaker 1: these jumpsuits. I'm like, Brandon, that's just what we wear. Man,
- 48:53Speaker 1: we are the Raging Idiots, Like you have to just
- 48:55Speaker 1: get used to it. That reminded me of that.
- 48:58Speaker 4: It was really good though the documentary. I mean, I
- 49:00Speaker 4: knew he'd been through obviously a lot in his life,
- 49:02Speaker 4: but man, that plane crash and everything that came with it,
- 49:05Speaker 4: even before all that with his mom and.
- 49:06Speaker 3: It just it was pretty sad.
- 49:09Speaker 4: But it was interesting to hear him just talk about
- 49:12Speaker 4: it because I never really watched anything as far as
- 49:14Speaker 4: from his perspective that his whole life and what's come
- 49:17Speaker 4: about with it and whatnot.
- 49:19Speaker 3: So I don't know, it was just crazy to see.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I think what was cool for me is that I
- 49:23Speaker 1: didn't watch his show very much on MTV. Was MTV, Yeah,
- 49:26Speaker 1: I didn't really remember much of it. I didn't watch
- 49:28Speaker 1: that show really. I remember he had a show, so
- 49:30Speaker 1: i'd really as a drummer, you don't really get to
- 49:33Speaker 1: know them because they're just quiet. They're not frontmen. They
- 49:37Speaker 1: don't talk, they just play the drums. And for me,
- 49:40Speaker 1: I always had this impression of him as this like
- 49:43Speaker 1: just tattoo drug using, kind of like a loser, you
- 49:49Speaker 1: know what I mean. But you watch this documentary and
- 49:52Speaker 1: you end up just really loving the dude.
- 49:53Speaker 4: Right, even just the way that he talks about like everything, Yeah, everything,
- 49:58Speaker 4: He's so soft spoken.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I've spoken, and I feel like, you know, he had
- 50:03Speaker 1: he did have a crazy life, you know, crazy childhood
- 50:07Speaker 1: overcame a lot of things and you kind of feel
- 50:10Speaker 1: proud proud of him for doing that.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't imagine that, but I loved it, Mike.
- 50:16Speaker 7: I think I love that the whole thing was shot
- 50:18Speaker 7: over ten years because some of these documentaries come out
- 50:21Speaker 7: and they just like spit them out. They film them
- 50:22Speaker 7: for like three months and you don't get their full story.
- 50:24Speaker 7: This you get his entire life story documented so well.
- 50:28Speaker 7: So I think without spoiling all the things that happened
- 50:30Speaker 7: in the documentary, just the actual like integrity of the
- 50:36Speaker 7: documentary was really good where I felt like I would
- 50:38Speaker 7: have paid money to see this thing in theaters.
- 50:39Speaker 6: Because I thought it was put together so yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 7: Yeah, and learning all about like his family, like that's
- 50:44Speaker 7: the stuff that hit me emotionally, Like his relationship with
- 50:46Speaker 7: his dad that got.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Me like, Okay, I want to say something, but I
- 50:51Speaker 1: don't want to say it's funny because like documentaries, I
- 50:53Speaker 1: feel like, you really don't spoil document but.
- 50:56Speaker 3: I would want people to watch it.
- 50:57Speaker 7: I know, and there's certain part parts that happened that
- 51:01Speaker 7: I feel like it's kind of revealing a little bit
- 51:03Speaker 7: too much because they hit me emotionally, So I don't
- 51:04Speaker 7: want to ruin that for it.
- 51:05Speaker 1: I got you, I got you. I just think that
- 51:08Speaker 1: there is sometimes and he's not the only one that's
- 51:10Speaker 1: done this, like Travis Bark is not the only one.
- 51:12Speaker 1: But when when someone talks about a family member's mistake,
- 51:18Speaker 1: like private mistakes, I always feel for that family member
- 51:24Speaker 1: because like, and I don't know if they want that
- 51:27Speaker 1: out there or if they've kind of made peace with it,
- 51:29Speaker 1: like you know what, Like, yeah, I made mistakes.
- 51:31Speaker 5: It is what it is.
- 51:32Speaker 1: But every time that happens, I'm like, Travis, I know
- 51:34Speaker 1: it's part of your story. I know it is, but
- 51:37Speaker 1: I feel so bad for that family member that you
- 51:39Speaker 1: just literally put it on blast. Yeah you guys know
- 51:42Speaker 1: what I'm talking about.
- 51:43Speaker 4: Yeah, and it fairly in the beginning. So the rest
- 51:45Speaker 4: of the documentary are kind of like, you can't help
- 51:47Speaker 4: but think that, yeah, oh when that family member keeps.
- 51:50Speaker 1: You any time he popped up, yeah yeah, I'm like, oh.
- 51:55Speaker 4: But at the end, the thing he revealed when it
- 51:57Speaker 4: not be weird took his shirt off cool, remember, mm hmm, Okay,
- 52:02Speaker 4: is that too much?
- 52:03Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 52:04Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 52:05Speaker 1: And honestly, Mike, I normally don't think I can spoil
- 52:08Speaker 1: a documentary because it's all history, right.
- 52:11Speaker 7: Yeah, because I think the way this one was put together,
- 52:13Speaker 7: it felt like a movie, Like I saw them all
- 52:15Speaker 7: the people in his life as characters, and that part
- 52:18Speaker 7: in particular felt like character development to me, where it
- 52:20Speaker 7: was like, oh my gosh, not expecting that.
- 52:22Speaker 1: So when they interviewed Tom DeLong, Tom, yeah, he was
- 52:27Speaker 1: he looked bigger.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Yeah that was probably.
- 52:31Speaker 7: Because I mean even the drummer from Foo Fighters was
- 52:34Speaker 7: in there and he's dead. Yeah, the interviews like over
- 52:37Speaker 7: different periods of time, because you see him earlier in
- 52:40Speaker 7: the documentary looks bigger and then later looks a little
- 52:42Speaker 7: bit more like what he looks.
- 52:43Speaker 6: Like right now.
- 52:43Speaker 1: They never addressed that Taylor Hawkins is dead, right, not
- 52:46Speaker 1: in the documentary. You know, that's that's wild.
- 52:48Speaker 7: That's crazy that he filmed that part like and then
- 52:51Speaker 7: later when it actually comes out, he died.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I know, I know. Anyway, man, I think that's a great,
- 52:57Speaker 1: great documentary. Like I love music documentaries. It's I mean,
- 53:01Speaker 1: if I threw it in music documentaries right now, I'd
- 53:03Speaker 1: put it top twenty five easily. But I love when
- 53:07Speaker 1: I learned something about someone that I didn't know much
- 53:11Speaker 1: about and end up like really kind of wanting to
- 53:14Speaker 1: explore more because of the documentary. So that's how I felt.
- 53:17Speaker 1: What do you rate it, dude, I'll go four and
- 53:19Speaker 1: a half. Be careful with this one. I'll go. I'll
- 53:25Speaker 1: go four and a half tattoos.
- 53:28Speaker 6: And the same for four and a half drumsticks.
- 53:31Speaker 1: There we go.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Hey, that was gonna be mine, dude, the drumsticks, Come on,
- 53:34Speaker 3: you gotta think hard. Four and a half snares, Oh, dude.
- 53:37Speaker 1: By the way, those shots of the snares and the
- 53:40Speaker 1: drums and violames, Dude, it's so freaking cool. Like I
- 53:45Speaker 1: I watched that as like a you know video. Guy,
- 53:48Speaker 1: I'm like, god, I love that.
- 53:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I think about how many takes it took too,
- 53:52Speaker 4: Yeah for sure to get the right one.
- 53:54Speaker 6: Crazy thought.
- 53:55Speaker 7: The end up marrying a Kardashian at the end of
- 53:57Speaker 7: it like that, like there's a whole story. He goes
- 54:00Speaker 7: through all this stuff and then he ends up in
- 54:02Speaker 7: the Kardashian family.
- 54:03Speaker 6: You're like, how does this make sense?
- 54:05Speaker 1: Dude? I loved his Boto friends man, like his trouble friends,
- 54:09Speaker 1: like those hardcore punk dudes. Yeah, the security guard who
- 54:13Speaker 1: ended up being like I love that group of people
- 54:15Speaker 1: you rob.
- 54:16Speaker 6: From the Transplants.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Yes, dude, those guys, Like I was like, I would
- 54:19Speaker 3: not want to fight those guys.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Hell no.
- 54:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:22Speaker 7: I went to a Warped tour where the Transplants played,
- 54:24Speaker 7: and I remember I remember seeing Travis Barker at that show,
- 54:27Speaker 7: and it's like you were saying earlier, like he stood
- 54:28Speaker 7: out so much in that band, is not about him?
- 54:31Speaker 1: Yeah, man, that's that's I really enjoyed that one. So
- 54:34Speaker 1: and I thought about Mike the whole time, the whole time.
- 54:36Speaker 1: You I didn't. I didn't know, dude, you were a
- 54:38Speaker 1: number one.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:39Speaker 3: I'm just saying, just saying, all right, I gees out
- 54:43Speaker 3: of here right, all right, that's it.
- 54:46Speaker 1: You guys have anything.
- 54:50Speaker 3: No, no, no, I feel like I had something is
- 54:52Speaker 3: blank touring right now, do you know? Yeah, they're coming
- 54:55Speaker 3: to Nashville this weekend. You want to go to the show.
- 54:57Speaker 1: We'll meet at Midtown Odi, I'll see on the bone
- 55:02Speaker 1: all right, I'll blow us out of here. All right.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Well for you guys, Thank you all so much. By Mind.
