- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with her radio. It is another episode of the Almost
- 0:07Speaker 1: Famous podcast I Am a Jerk? Why because when we
- 0:12Speaker 1: got on video today, you you have two braces on
- 0:19Speaker 1: your wrists and uh, and I was worried. I'm still
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'm worried. I know it's a real thing. But I said, Ashley,
- 0:26Speaker 1: oh my gosh, what did you do? And you said,
- 0:32Speaker 1: I have mommy wrist otherwise known as mommy thumb, otherwise
- 0:38Speaker 1: known as something really intense sounding that I don't know
- 0:41Speaker 1: how to pronounce. And it happens, and I giggled and
- 0:45Speaker 1: and it wasn't nice of me. I just have to
- 0:47Speaker 1: admit it to everybody. I wasn't not nice of me.
- 0:51Speaker 1: You laugh. But Jared rolls his eyes every time, like
- 0:54Speaker 1: I say out every time I show pain, and he's like, what,
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'm like, it's my mommy wrist. He's like, nobody takes
- 1:06Speaker 1: mommy wrists seriously, but guys, it really hurts. Basically, it's tendonitis,
- 1:11Speaker 1: it's a strain. It's actually like it's an injury to
- 1:15Speaker 1: your wrist. So that happens from lifting up your baby.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And you know, just like I'm not used to lifting
- 1:21Speaker 1: things up like that, you know that motion, you know
- 1:23Speaker 1: if if you guys can see me a video, it's
- 1:25Speaker 1: like a swooping up motion. You're not used to, like
- 1:28Speaker 1: twisting your wrists and like your thumb holding a bottle
- 1:31Speaker 1: all the time. So I'd say maybe like two months
- 1:35Speaker 1: into motherhood, I started feeling a strain um on the
- 1:40Speaker 1: inside of my wrists and it's just gotten worse and
- 1:44Speaker 1: worse and worse. And Jared and I had a vacation
- 1:46Speaker 1: last week, and I thought a couple of days without
- 1:48Speaker 1: Dawson picking up and picking him up and bottle feeding
- 1:51Speaker 1: and all that I would get a little recovery from it.
- 1:55Speaker 1: But but not at all, actually not at all. And
- 1:59Speaker 1: my dad, and he's doctor. I go, Dad, I need
- 2:01Speaker 1: to go make an appointment to get like a cortozone
- 2:03Speaker 1: shot or like this surgery that they do. So I
- 2:07Speaker 1: posted this on Instagram. I said, anybody have any experience
- 2:10Speaker 1: with mommy wrisk? Holy crap, only so many women have
- 2:14Speaker 1: mommy wrist and we don't talk about it. Another thing
- 2:17Speaker 1: we don't talk about about motherhood. And so many girls
- 2:21Speaker 1: were like, get the braces, make sure you get the
- 2:23Speaker 1: braces that enable um that disable your thumb, put ice
- 2:27Speaker 1: on it. Girls were saying, like, go get a cortozone shot.
- 2:30Speaker 1: They and others were saying, get the surgery, and I
- 2:33Speaker 1: was like, surgery sounds intense. It's actually like they just
- 2:36Speaker 1: numb the area and slice your wrist open a little
- 2:39Speaker 1: bit and they like fix the tendon whatever. But it's
- 2:43Speaker 1: very common and we just don't talk about it. But
- 2:46Speaker 1: I could just go, you know, this is a mommy thing,
- 2:47Speaker 1: a mommy thinking that I can go on and on
- 2:50Speaker 1: and on about. But you're probably already bored, and I'm
- 2:52Speaker 1: just not like you talk and I'm just like blah
- 2:53Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah. I'm sure the mom's out there
- 2:57Speaker 1: are screaming, Yes, somebody else is in a camp where
- 3:00Speaker 1: you aren't alone. You aren't alone in this Ashley. In fact,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you're very much It sounds like um a part of
- 3:08Speaker 1: a big group. I've just never heard of it before.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I have to tell you this one little story though.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yesterday I go into the liquor store because I needed
- 3:16Speaker 1: to get a couple of bottles of liquor for Audrey's.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We're making spiked root beer floats for the summer with
- 3:23Speaker 1: Dr mcgilla Cutty's um anyway, um, And the guys behind
- 3:28Speaker 1: the counter at the liquor store like, what happened? You
- 3:31Speaker 1: fall off your bike? And I'm like, I have um
- 3:34Speaker 1: what they call mommy wrist. Um. Yeah, it's from like
- 3:37Speaker 1: all the movements that I make now that I never
- 3:40Speaker 1: used to. And they're like, mommy wrist, I've never heard
- 3:45Speaker 1: of that before. Like it's like as if they didn't
- 3:47Speaker 1: believe that it was a real thing. Well, actually, here's
- 3:50Speaker 1: the deal. I believe you. I do. Well, thank you
- 3:55Speaker 1: all right. Actually, we have a huge episode in front
- 3:57Speaker 1: of today. This is a big episode. We're gonna break
- 4:00Speaker 1: down all the men that were announced for this season
- 4:03Speaker 1: of The Bachelor at We like to do this every year,
- 4:06Speaker 1: give our first impressions. I like to do it. Ashley
- 4:09Speaker 1: says she doesn't, but I think that she likes it
- 4:12Speaker 1: more than she thinks she does. I think she You know,
- 4:15Speaker 1: I just get scared. I get scared of getting it wrong.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I get scared of people thinking that I have judging
- 4:21Speaker 1: a book by its cover. Well, here's the deal. People
- 4:24Speaker 1: are gonna get mad no matter what they know. This
- 4:27Speaker 1: is all and fun. We know nothing about these guys
- 4:29Speaker 1: I've never met these men. I have no clue who
- 4:31Speaker 1: they are or really what they do or what their
- 4:34Speaker 1: personalities are. Like this is a picture in this a name.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So here's what you do, listeners, you pull up their
- 4:39Speaker 1: pictures and go along with us. You have your fantasy
- 4:42Speaker 1: drafts coming up. You need some research done. We're giving
- 4:46Speaker 1: our information to you so that you can take that
- 4:49Speaker 1: information and make some decisions for yourself as you draft
- 4:52Speaker 1: these men based on your first impression from pictures. No
- 4:58Speaker 1: spoilers here, we know nothing, So pull up your pictures,
- 5:01Speaker 1: right the pictures, guys, it's way better like that. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: uh and here we go. All right, let's dive into it.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Let's start Ashley. I will announce the name and location
- 5:22Speaker 1: and job title, and you give your first impression. I'll
- 5:26Speaker 1: follow up. Come on, alright, let's do half and half. Okay,
- 5:31Speaker 1: all right, well, let me get started here. Here we go. First,
- 5:35Speaker 1: one is Alec. Alec is twenty seven years old. He's
- 5:38Speaker 1: a wedding photographer, so he's into love from Houston, Texas.
- 5:44Speaker 1: He's cute. These pictures are great. With a white background,
- 5:48Speaker 1: everybody looks more attractive. They've really learned, They have really learned.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I still want to know what in the world they're
- 5:53Speaker 1: thinking before. My first impression of Alec is exactly what
- 5:58Speaker 1: I said. This man is look king and he is
- 6:01Speaker 1: ready for love. He just might be a little over
- 6:03Speaker 1: zealous in the hopeless romantic category. Second one is even
- 6:09Speaker 1: even His twenty eight years old. He's a sales executive
- 6:12Speaker 1: from San Diego, California. Okay, he has a Thomas vibe
- 6:17Speaker 1: as well as a Josh Murray vibe. There's a mix there.
- 6:23Speaker 1: So which direction do you see think Avan's gonna go? Obviously,
- 6:26Speaker 1: Thomas became one of bachel Nation's favorites, where Josh Murray, well,
- 6:32Speaker 1: he's just staying around anymore. Um, I think he's gonna
- 6:36Speaker 1: be a prominent character. The guys may not like him, Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 1: I think when I look at even from his picture,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I feel, uh like he is going to be intimidating.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Is it not intimidating? Yeah, not in like a bully
- 6:52Speaker 1: type way, but intimidating in like a he's well rounded. Yeah, yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and so it matters if he is a humble gentleman
- 7:01Speaker 1: or not. Next one is Brandon. Brandon is twenty three
- 7:05Speaker 1: years old. He's a bartender from Carl's Bag, California. All
- 7:10Speaker 1: I gotta say is tree, This guy looks deep into
- 7:15Speaker 1: his thirties. Yeah, wise wise above his years. That's a
- 7:19Speaker 1: nice way of saying it. But he's a nice, handsome man.
- 7:21Speaker 1: He just definitely looks older than his age. Twenty three
- 7:24Speaker 1: is surprising here. Um. Typically I look at people from
- 7:28Speaker 1: the seasons you know now that I'm in my early
- 7:32Speaker 1: to mid thirties, and I say, wow, they look like children.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Well Brandon does not. He looks like a man that
- 7:38Speaker 1: I would listen to for wisdom. Up next, we have Chris.
- 7:43Speaker 1: He is a thirty year old mentality coach from Rodondo Beach, California.
- 7:50Speaker 1: What is a mentality coach? It's all of different things. Yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 1: it can you actually know, I actually do know. It
- 7:57Speaker 1: can be an athletics. Athletics it's a big deal or
- 8:00Speaker 1: especially like the I mean every sport has a huge
- 8:03Speaker 1: mental like component to it, but golf and baseball where
- 8:07Speaker 1: you have to stay focused on a little thing, you know,
- 8:11Speaker 1: either moving or not moving and uh, and it's just
- 8:14Speaker 1: it's helping you get your mind right. I think in
- 8:17Speaker 1: life you get a lot of mentality coaches with leaders
- 8:21Speaker 1: or you know, parents who just need like some coaching
- 8:25Speaker 1: on how to keep their mind in a healthy and
- 8:27Speaker 1: good place. So it's not a therapist to where you're
- 8:31Speaker 1: working through trauma necessarily. It's more of how do you
- 8:37Speaker 1: keep your mind sharp? Oh okay, So it's not like
- 8:41Speaker 1: he is a manifesting coach or is it also along
- 8:44Speaker 1: those lines? It could be. I mean, I don't know.
- 8:46Speaker 1: We don't have a lot of background to what he's
- 8:48Speaker 1: a mentality coach for um, he might have some man
- 8:53Speaker 1: like I know in mentality coaches in sports because I've
- 8:57Speaker 1: I've been around those. They do a lot of visualization,
- 9:00Speaker 1: like visualize your next shot, or visualize hitting a home
- 9:04Speaker 1: run or so, yeah, I mean in a way, I
- 9:07Speaker 1: mean possibly Colin's thirty six years old sales director from Chicago, Illinois.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Colin he gives me throwbacks to one of my friends
- 9:16Speaker 1: ex boyfriends, who oddly is also in sales in Chicago
- 9:20Speaker 1: and just about the same age and has a very
- 9:23Speaker 1: similar look. I'd say he's gonna have salesman vibes, like
- 9:31Speaker 1: very outgoing, very friendly, but like maybe with a little
- 9:36Speaker 1: bit of a sense of phoniness. Yeah, I don't, you know.
- 9:39Speaker 1: When I look at Colin Um, it feels like he's
- 9:44Speaker 1: gonna try really hard. Yeah, he's gonna try really hard.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Good or bad, He's just gonna try really hard. Hey,
- 9:50Speaker 1: try really hard in a way that like May grows
- 9:52Speaker 1: out girls. Yeah, listeners, please go through all these people
- 9:56Speaker 1: with us. Um, just go through, have your first impressions,
- 10:00Speaker 1: see what you thinks in him and does up Next
- 10:04Speaker 1: is Eric. Eric is twenty nine years old. He's a
- 10:08Speaker 1: real estate analyst from Bedminster, New Jersey. Okay, so I'm
- 10:14Speaker 1: going to say that he is going to be pretty
- 10:18Speaker 1: well liked and he's gonna sound like Nick File because
- 10:21Speaker 1: he has that look. Yeah, you know Nick like he
- 10:25Speaker 1: doesn't want to be compared to anybody physically, and Nick
- 10:29Speaker 1: is far. He's a handsome he is. You know you're
- 10:34Speaker 1: saying this. You're saying this to make Nick very happy.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Right now. You're worried he's going to listen to this
- 10:38Speaker 1: and be like, oh, there's Ashley and you know, comparing
- 10:41Speaker 1: me to somebody, there's a look okay, right with the
- 10:43Speaker 1: same coloring, in the same scruff, in the same hair texture. Yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: there you go. Eric looks like a guy that can
- 10:49Speaker 1: pick up a guitar and seeing a country song to me, Yes, yes, yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: see it. There you go. Uh, this will be my
- 10:57Speaker 1: last one and then ashall you take a break and
- 10:59Speaker 1: I'll take it a way. Uh. Ethan Ethan is twenty
- 11:02Speaker 1: seven years old. He's an advertising executive from New York,
- 11:05Speaker 1: New York. Ethan's a good looking guy. Um. I just
- 11:11Speaker 1: feel like Ethan is going to be that guy in
- 11:14Speaker 1: the house that when trouble and chaos is swirling around.
- 11:20Speaker 1: He's been in rooms because he is an executive where
- 11:23Speaker 1: chaos in turmoil is swirling around and he'll just know
- 11:27Speaker 1: how to handle it. Like he'll be that quiet, wise voice.
- 11:31Speaker 1: He might not be loud, but he might not be
- 11:36Speaker 1: loud enough to be seen, but he's gonna be out
- 11:38Speaker 1: of the drama. Okay, Okay, get behind that, you take
- 11:43Speaker 1: over now, all right. Next up we have Hayden, who
- 11:50Speaker 1: looks like Tony Romo old. Actually, you can't say the
- 11:56Speaker 1: name and tell me their age and where they're from
- 11:59Speaker 1: and also take the first impression away from me. Okay, sorry,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I just can't do. That's unfair to me. Okay. Hayden
- 12:08Speaker 1: year old leisure executive whatever the heck that means, Tampa, Florida.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He looks like he looks like he looks like an
- 12:15Speaker 1: announcer he's going to be on sports. He's like he
- 12:20Speaker 1: he maybe played some sports. Not I mean Tony Romo
- 12:25Speaker 1: played obviously, but like Hayden is the guy that was
- 12:28Speaker 1: always the expert in sports. Maybe wasn't didn't come off
- 12:32Speaker 1: the bench very often, but he sure knows the game. Okay, okay, yes,
- 12:39Speaker 1: Next up, we have twenty seven year old mortgage broker
- 12:42Speaker 1: from Scottsdale, Arizona, and his name is Jacob Jacob. Oh,
- 12:49Speaker 1: Jacob Jacob's going home at night one? Um, why no,
- 12:57Speaker 1: I'm not saying he's not cute. I'm saying Jacob goes
- 13:00Speaker 1: home on night one because he he wears something like
- 13:05Speaker 1: I just picturing him being the guy that comes in
- 13:08Speaker 1: and like a hotdog suit and it just doesn't go
- 13:11Speaker 1: over a well, Like, he doesn't show how good looking
- 13:14Speaker 1: he is because he thinks that if he does that,
- 13:17Speaker 1: it's gonna be really funny. He gets convinced by producers
- 13:20Speaker 1: to do something stupid. All right, and again I can
- 13:23Speaker 1: get behind that fury, but there's two girls that are
- 13:28Speaker 1: choosing guys, so like, he's too cute to not make
- 13:31Speaker 1: it through night one in my opinion, But you know,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I guess there's always the grocery store Joe that people
- 13:35Speaker 1: are left speechless. Next up, we have James, a twenty
- 13:40Speaker 1: five year old meatball enthusiasts. Now, is he going to
- 13:46Speaker 1: be our sequel to Pizza Pete? Remember Pizza Peter? Yeah?
- 13:51Speaker 1: I hope not. No, that's just not fun to watch.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Pizza pe was not fun, not enjoyable year old meat Yes,
- 13:59Speaker 1: you heard to write a me eat ball enthusiasts. Uh,
- 14:03Speaker 1: this guy, I mean we've had the food people before.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Grocery store Joe barely got away with it, meaning he
- 14:10Speaker 1: got let go on night one, and then he kind
- 14:12Speaker 1: of owned that he was into food and it was
- 14:15Speaker 1: cute for a while and then he's like, I don't
- 14:16Speaker 1: want to be called grocery store Joe. I'm Joe. Um,
- 14:21Speaker 1: James is gonna way over play the meatball Like he's
- 14:23Speaker 1: gonna have weird and like grotesque jokes about meatballs and
- 14:27Speaker 1: it's not gonna go overwhelm. It's not gonna be funny.
- 14:31Speaker 1: He's gonna he's gonna get one giggle and then he's
- 14:33Speaker 1: gonna be let Oh. We have Jason, a thirty year
- 14:47Speaker 1: old investment baker from Santa Monica California, Jason to me.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You know, his picture, I don't think does him justice.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I have a fe lane that, uh that Jason is
- 15:03Speaker 1: going to do fine during this season. However, I think
- 15:08Speaker 1: he messes up at some point, like he's like one
- 15:10Speaker 1: of the fan favorites until he's not. That's kind of
- 15:14Speaker 1: that's the story. I'm like the vibe I'm getting. He
- 15:17Speaker 1: he means well, he's gonna have a great time in Paradise,
- 15:22Speaker 1: but he just he just doesn't rock, you know, the
- 15:26Speaker 1: Bachelor at Okay. I see mikeel buble in his face,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and I also think that he's going to be like
- 15:35Speaker 1: the best friend character in a rom com, like a
- 15:38Speaker 1: John Krasinski. Oh nice, maybe a little friend zoned. That's okay.
- 15:44Speaker 1: John's a good looking to guy. Joey, a twenty four
- 15:47Speaker 1: year old twin from Brookfield, Connecticut, just you, Oh yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you can't take this from me, either you get one
- 15:56Speaker 1: or the other. Which I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I was
- 15:59Speaker 1: just saying that I can't stand doing the first impression
- 16:01Speaker 1: and now I keep taking them from you. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you want, you want what you can't have. I get it. Okay.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So Joey looks like he does a lot of TikTok videos.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I think he does because I think he's the guy
- 16:14Speaker 1: I've seen, but he looks like he dances on TikTok often.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You are so right. No comment couldn't be put any better. John,
- 16:26Speaker 1: twenty six year old English teacher from Nashville, Tennessee. He oh,
- 16:33Speaker 1: go go go. Okay, this will be your last one
- 16:35Speaker 1: that I'm gonna start announcing again because you you're feeling
- 16:38Speaker 1: it today. This is a new and approved Ashley post
- 16:42Speaker 1: child to where you have a first reaction that is
- 16:45Speaker 1: spot on and we need to hear it and use it. Uh.
- 16:49Speaker 1: John is an English teacher. He's patient, he's wise, he
- 16:54Speaker 1: is kind, but he doesn't last long. We're not gonna
- 16:59Speaker 1: last long in my opinion. Okay, So so I see
- 17:03Speaker 1: that he is. He's like that guy who's like cut cie, right,
- 17:08Speaker 1: Like obviously all the girls think he's so adorable. They
- 17:11Speaker 1: wish that they were like into him like that though.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You know, it's like he's got a really handsome face,
- 17:16Speaker 1: but like I just don't get that vibe where I
- 17:18Speaker 1: want to make out with him. But high schoolers, because
- 17:20Speaker 1: he's a twenty six year old English teacher, all the
- 17:23Speaker 1: sixteen year olds in his class want to be with him.
- 17:26Speaker 1: That's creepy. I know it sounds creepy, but you know
- 17:29Speaker 1: what I mean. It's all like they have a crush
- 17:31Speaker 1: on him. It's all like he's crushing on that. Yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 1: that's a thing. I know in high school all the
- 17:36Speaker 1: girls that we had a we had a high school
- 17:38Speaker 1: teacher that all the girls used to just is weird. Yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 1: I thought I was in love with my high school
- 17:45Speaker 1: English teacher. Alright, infatuation. Here's Johnny. He's twenty five year
- 17:50Speaker 1: old real Ittur from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Johnny, this
- 17:59Speaker 1: picture looks like Amelia Wesvez in a Buddy Ducks And
- 18:02Speaker 1: I love that. Received My thing is really just he
- 18:06Speaker 1: looks like I just like comparing who they look like. Johnny.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Johnny looks like a like a movie star here because
- 18:15Speaker 1: it looks like he is caked with makeup, And I
- 18:17Speaker 1: know they put makeup on for these pictures. Whoever is
- 18:21Speaker 1: doing the makeup from Johnny said, We're gonna load you
- 18:25Speaker 1: thick so that you shine like your skin literally shines. Okay,
- 18:31Speaker 1: yeah he's a front runner. Hey, Jordan's h he's thirty
- 18:36Speaker 1: five year old software developer from Tampa, Florida. Ah. He
- 18:40Speaker 1: looks just like Matt Damon. He's so friendly and he
- 18:44Speaker 1: reminds me of that amazing guy whose name escapes me
- 18:48Speaker 1: now from Ali's season, the one that got away, the
- 18:51Speaker 1: one that left, and I loved him, and I hope
- 18:53Speaker 1: he has a similar character vibe. Jordan looks like he
- 18:56Speaker 1: wears whitey tidy's over boxers. See this is why you
- 19:00Speaker 1: need to do this. I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say
- 19:04Speaker 1: who they look like, and you're gonna say those things. Okay,
- 19:07Speaker 1: does he not look like a guy that wears whitey tidys? Yes, yes,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I yes, I see that. Like in this picture, his
- 19:14Speaker 1: whitey tidies are a little too tight because he basically
- 19:18Speaker 1: wants to do the risky business slide with Jared in
- 19:22Speaker 1: a very non sexual way. I say that, Yeah, there
- 19:26Speaker 1: you go. Hey Jordan vs. Twenty seven year old drag
- 19:30Speaker 1: race here from Alpha Retta, Georgia. A drag racer? Is
- 19:35Speaker 1: that like an occupation? Can you do? Be? A Dragon's
- 19:39Speaker 1: a dragstrip right by my house here in Colorado? It's
- 19:41Speaker 1: a big deal. Oh really? I thought it was like
- 19:44Speaker 1: something you do as a hobby on the road. No, No,
- 19:47Speaker 1: it's a it's a real it's a real thing. Jordan's um, Jordan, Jordan,
- 19:54Speaker 1: Jordan's just like a young thing, like young vibes, young,
- 19:58Speaker 1: youthful vibe. I think that the girls are gonna be
- 20:01Speaker 1: like he's too boyish. Jordan likes to go fast. Jordan's
- 20:05Speaker 1: obviously by his profession. He likes to go fast in
- 20:08Speaker 1: all things relationships, racing. Um, He's gonna speak fast, talk
- 20:13Speaker 1: fast because he's a racer and he's used to getting
- 20:16Speaker 1: that adrenaline rush. Being stuck in a house with a
- 20:19Speaker 1: bunch of guys sitting around drinking and eating all the
- 20:21Speaker 1: time is going to drive him crazy, and I think
- 20:25Speaker 1: drive him pun intended. There you go, Hey, Justin Bees
- 20:28Speaker 1: thirty two years old. He's a physical therapist from Solano Beach, California. Stability.
- 20:36Speaker 1: That's what this man says to me, the opposite. To me,
- 20:40Speaker 1: it sounds like he's selfish. He spends because he spends
- 20:45Speaker 1: forty five minutes of morning on that hair. I mean
- 20:47Speaker 1: he that that does not come naturally. He showers conditions below, drives,
- 20:53Speaker 1: curls combs, puts a little hair spray in it, then
- 20:56Speaker 1: a little gel, then fluffs it again to get that
- 20:59Speaker 1: perfect shine, and then he and then there's no way
- 21:03Speaker 1: you have that white of teeth and those perfect of
- 21:06Speaker 1: eyebrows unless you are manscaping and bleaching at least once
- 21:12Speaker 1: a week. And so he's selfish because he takes up
- 21:15Speaker 1: all the all the bathroom space, all the time. Okay,
- 21:19Speaker 1: and now you've won me over. I see that exactly.
- 21:23Speaker 1: He's a well groomed man. He also reminds me of
- 21:25Speaker 1: Dan Cox, justin why from the other twin we have
- 21:32Speaker 1: a set of twins, the first set of twins since
- 21:34Speaker 1: Haley and Emily, twenty four year old twin brother from Brookfield, Connecticut.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Does he TikTok with his brother? I don't think so.
- 21:45Speaker 1: This one has the b D energy of the two.
- 21:48Speaker 1: He's got a little Pete Davidson vibe going on. He does.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You just notice that you you took now announcing the
- 21:54Speaker 1: name and profession and first impression from me? Uh huh,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I get it. Ash, You're excited about this, this is
- 22:02Speaker 1: one of your favorite episodes. You just don't want to
- 22:04Speaker 1: admit it to anybody listening. You get excited for the
- 22:07Speaker 1: first impressions, and then you act all you know, shy,
- 22:11Speaker 1: like who do you know? Hey? Justin Why? Yeah he
- 22:15Speaker 1: is more Pete Davidson to him, he is less put together.
- 22:18Speaker 1: He does the TikTok videos, but he's the brother that
- 22:22Speaker 1: doesn't enjoy it. He doesn't want to be there. He does, Yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 1: he does it because they're too good looking twins and
- 22:28Speaker 1: he knows he can make some money doing it. And
- 22:30Speaker 1: then they get that has to be on the Bachelor,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and he's like, this is our big shot, you know.
- 22:35Speaker 1: So good for him. I hope he's there for love
- 22:37Speaker 1: all right, Oh my goodness, he is the one. He's
- 22:42Speaker 1: the twin that's like, yeah, we have to do more
- 22:45Speaker 1: twin TikTok's. Yeah, you know, these guys are so used
- 22:49Speaker 1: to hitting on girls together and it works well for
- 22:54Speaker 1: this season since they're two girls together as well. Well,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I don't even think about that. Okay, here's Kurt. He's
- 23:00Speaker 1: twenty nine year old college football coach from Lubit, Texas,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and he's got a Jason Mesnick vibe. Sweet and sensitive
- 23:09Speaker 1: but confident. I get it. Yeah, an old soul who's disciplined,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and discipline is gonna play against him during this season
- 23:21Speaker 1: because there is no rhythm or routine or discipline to
- 23:25Speaker 1: being on the batch story. You really just have to
- 23:27Speaker 1: go with the flow, which is gonna stretch Kirk, but
- 23:31Speaker 1: it's also not gonna be easy for Kirk. Oh my god, Benji,
- 23:38Speaker 1: don't have any more guys we have to go through.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You better keep these descriptions coming. Oh my gosh, there's
- 23:43Speaker 1: a lot of dudes this season, all right. Up next
- 23:47Speaker 1: is Logan. He's a twenty six year old videographer from
- 23:49Speaker 1: San Diego, California. I'm sorry, but I have to do
- 23:53Speaker 1: another comparison. He looks like Chris Souls in this picture,
- 23:56Speaker 1: but like crystals from Andy season, not crystals from a
- 24:00Speaker 1: Bachelor season. Totally different. Suave. Yeah, yeah, he needs a makeover.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Then what you're saying because crystals ton of potential? Oh
- 24:10Speaker 1: I agree. I mean I think that's what we'd use
- 24:12Speaker 1: for Logan. A lot of potential, A lot of potential. There.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Hey Mario, thirty one year old personal trainer from Naperville, Illinois. Uh,
- 24:22Speaker 1: just super friendly, smiley guy, a friend of all um.
- 24:25Speaker 1: But then again, at the same time, I say that
- 24:28Speaker 1: could be an enemytual. He also has that little thing
- 24:32Speaker 1: in his eye that says like I'd like to come
- 24:34Speaker 1: across as your bro, but really I like to store drama. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm getting more of like this guy has muscles and
- 24:42Speaker 1: places that I've never seen muscles happen before. Yeah, I
- 24:46Speaker 1: don't know. I feel like he's skinny based on the
- 24:49Speaker 1: facial picture. Some more like athletic Bill. I could see it.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I could see. Well, he's a personal trainer. He's got
- 24:56Speaker 1: a good smile. The first impression, if I have known
- 24:59Speaker 1: nothing else, is he's going to be similar to a
- 25:01Speaker 1: lot of the guys on the season that we really like.
- 25:04Speaker 1: That makes it a long ways. I think from his
- 25:07Speaker 1: smile when I give him the benefit of the down
- 25:09Speaker 1: and say he's a nice man. Um. I don't know
- 25:12Speaker 1: if he ends up with her at the end, with
- 25:15Speaker 1: them one of I don't know how this is even
- 25:17Speaker 1: working at this point with one of them at the end.
- 25:19Speaker 1: But he's around for a while. He's around for a while,
- 25:21Speaker 1: including this guy Matt. He's twenty five years old. He's
- 25:24Speaker 1: a shipping executive from San Diego, California. I get great
- 25:28Speaker 1: vibes from Matt. Yeah, I do too, Matt. Just I
- 25:33Speaker 1: look at Matt's picture, I do wonder what he's doing
- 25:37Speaker 1: with his facial hair underneath his bottom lip, Like is
- 25:40Speaker 1: it just non existing? There's yeah, and it looks like
- 25:45Speaker 1: he's shaved it. Yeah, it looks like he shaved it,
- 25:48Speaker 1: which makes his like mouth look bigger. You know what
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, yes, yeah, so I don't I've never
- 25:56Speaker 1: seen that before. I've never seen and it happened. Like
- 26:00Speaker 1: that's an interesting tactic um one that might go far.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I hope it's not going on during the season because
- 26:08Speaker 1: I have a feeling that people at first are gonna
- 26:09Speaker 1: be like, oh, Man's a really good looking guy. Then
- 26:11Speaker 1: they're gonna close to be like sums up, and then like,
- 26:13Speaker 1: oh yeah, he has no hair from his bottom lip
- 26:17Speaker 1: to his chin. Um. I don't know who knows. Hey.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Michael is a thirty two year old pharmaceutical salesman from
- 26:24Speaker 1: Long Beach, California. I can't figure him out. I feel
- 26:29Speaker 1: like he might be a night winner. I think Michael
- 26:31Speaker 1: is a strong neck because whatever it is he's wearing
- 26:33Speaker 1: around his neck that piece of joy leg looks heavy
- 26:37Speaker 1: and so at least he has a strong neck to
- 26:40Speaker 1: support the rest of his body. I got nothing else
- 26:43Speaker 1: to say about him, so we'll move on. To Nate,
- 26:46Speaker 1: a thirty three year old electrical engineer from Chicago. I
- 26:51Speaker 1: like Nate. He's cool, he's um, he's funny, and he's
- 26:57Speaker 1: easy to talk to. He is easy to talk to you.
- 27:02Speaker 1: He's a sweet man. You say, it's so definitively and
- 27:06Speaker 1: I love that. Yeah, No, I mean it. He's easy
- 27:09Speaker 1: to talk to. He looks good in a suit, so
- 27:12Speaker 1: he's gonna make a great first impression on the ladies.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I feel like Nate uh is also just gonna be
- 27:20Speaker 1: one of those guys that people in the house enjoy
- 27:22Speaker 1: being around. Uh huh. Concur Quincy, we've switched again. Are
- 27:30Speaker 1: we keeping a rhythm or not? Are you doing first impressions?
- 27:33Speaker 1: And I think we should just I don't know, I
- 27:35Speaker 1: think we should. I'm switching back. I'm doing the reading now.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I'm just gonna follow your lead here. Okay. You do,
- 27:40Speaker 1: you do you you feel, you feel it and you
- 27:43Speaker 1: go with it, and I'm just I'm just gonna ride along, okay, Okay.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Cool so. Quincy is a twenty five year old life
- 27:49Speaker 1: coach from Miami. Well. Quincy is a life coach because
- 27:55Speaker 1: he has a great story to tell. There's something in
- 27:58Speaker 1: his life that has happened. We're all going to be
- 28:00Speaker 1: on the edge of our seat listening to and we're
- 28:02Speaker 1: gonna go. There's a reason why Quincy wants the most
- 28:05Speaker 1: out of life, not only for himself but the people
- 28:07Speaker 1: around him. He is an encourager, He is a supporter,
- 28:10Speaker 1: He is a motivator. He is somebody who makes others
- 28:14Speaker 1: better and as a result, Quincy shines on the Bachelorette.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Do you know what you're going to do really well?
- 28:20Speaker 1: When you're a parent. You're gonna be that parent who
- 28:23Speaker 1: like opens a book and they don't know how to
- 28:26Speaker 1: read yet, and you just make up what every page says,
- 28:30Speaker 1: and you make the most elaborate story. I can't wait.
- 28:33Speaker 1: My my seventh grade principle said I was a B
- 28:36Speaker 1: S rum, which I think makes sense considering where my
- 28:40Speaker 1: career path has gone. You got away with words. You
- 28:47Speaker 1: can Yeah, you can fluff up something you know for
- 28:50Speaker 1: a long time. Um, this is just the most fantastic
- 28:55Speaker 1: thing I've ever read. Underneath this photo of a man
- 28:58Speaker 1: who looks like Jack Black, Robbie is a thirty three
- 29:02Speaker 1: year old magician from l A. I will say that
- 29:05Speaker 1: he will become the audio engineers and the producer's favorites,
- 29:10Speaker 1: because I do know a lot of those people, and
- 29:12Speaker 1: I do know a lot of them love magic, and
- 29:15Speaker 1: I know they love that castle in l A. That's
- 29:19Speaker 1: like the magic the magic Castle. And so Robbie, he's
- 29:23Speaker 1: gonna be there a few weeks strictly because the audio
- 29:26Speaker 1: engineers and the producers are going to say to these,
- 29:30Speaker 1: to the Bachelrettes, you just got to keep him around
- 29:32Speaker 1: because we have to know how he cuts somebody in half.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I mean, how many tricks is he going to do
- 29:38Speaker 1: to try to woo these ladies? So many tricks. It'll
- 29:42Speaker 1: be fun for us to watch. It may not be
- 29:44Speaker 1: fun for them, but I don't know his magic ever
- 29:48Speaker 1: not fun. I guess that if a guy is trying
- 29:50Speaker 1: to do a trick to make you kiss him, it's
- 29:52Speaker 1: probably not fun. But we'll see. This is more creepy.
- 29:54Speaker 1: But yes, I see what you're saying. Ryan is a
- 29:58Speaker 1: thirty six year old investment director from Boston, and I gotta,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I gotta put my two cents into here. He is
- 30:04Speaker 1: like Clayton two point Oh, he's like Clayton in uh,
- 30:09Speaker 1: I guess eight years he's Clayton, but way more like
- 30:14Speaker 1: um not the word comes to mind, and I don't
- 30:19Speaker 1: mean it this way like aggressive in a bad way,
- 30:21Speaker 1: just like very intentional. That's a better way. Um and
- 30:25Speaker 1: intentional and almost say hey, man, like you don't need
- 30:29Speaker 1: to speak so confident confidently to me all the time.
- 30:33Speaker 1: And you also don't have to speak down to me
- 30:35Speaker 1: all the time. And I think I think Ryan has
- 30:39Speaker 1: the ability to not know it, but to speak down
- 30:43Speaker 1: to the people around him. Spencer the twenty seven year
- 30:47Speaker 1: old venture capitalist from Chicago. Um, he is a Oh
- 30:54Speaker 1: I have done anything to say because I got nothing
- 30:56Speaker 1: to say, so I wouna. Let you tell tell a
- 30:57Speaker 1: story here. Oh, well, Spencer's your dreamer. I mean he
- 31:00Speaker 1: is one of those guys. Oh that's hilarious. Okay. Why
- 31:07Speaker 1: why is he a dreamer? Well, he's a dreamer because
- 31:11Speaker 1: his whole life he's always seen the bright spots. He's
- 31:14Speaker 1: always seen the hope filled spots. He's always believed in
- 31:17Speaker 1: the greater story, which is why he's a venture capitalist.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He wants to invest into these new companies he startups
- 31:23Speaker 1: and help be a part of a greater story. So
- 31:25Speaker 1: when he talks about his job, he doesn't say he's
- 31:27Speaker 1: a venture capitalist. Why would he say he's a venture capitalist.
- 31:29Speaker 1: They're gonna be That can mean anything. He is a
- 31:32Speaker 1: story creator, that's what he calls himself. And when somebody
- 31:36Speaker 1: says what does that mean, he goes I like to
- 31:37Speaker 1: invest into the stories of others to see them succeed.
- 31:40Speaker 1: That Spencer, does he mean it? I don't know. I
- 31:42Speaker 1: think he just wants to make money, but he says it. Termaine,
- 31:46Speaker 1: twenty eight year old crypto guy from Naperville, Illinois. I
- 31:52Speaker 1: gotta say something about him. He's full of himself. He's
- 31:54Speaker 1: so full of himself. I'm afraid that he might come
- 31:57Speaker 1: off like that guy on Michelle season who was just
- 32:00Speaker 1: iy ikey. Remember that guy that was a limited really
- 32:03Speaker 1: early on for like a good date. Yeah, he sketch.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I want to know what a crypto guy means. Here's
- 32:10Speaker 1: the deal. Crypto has taken a massive fall during his
- 32:13Speaker 1: season of the Bachelor. So as he has no phone
- 32:16Speaker 1: or computer, and he probably has his life savings invested
- 32:19Speaker 1: in the crypto, he has no clue that his life
- 32:21Speaker 1: savings have quickly dwindled to nothing. I mean, in fact
- 32:25Speaker 1: being cut in half, possibly depending on what his cost
- 32:28Speaker 1: basis is. It's completely gone away. So Tremaine comes into
- 32:32Speaker 1: the season as this visionary, as as this creator, as
- 32:37Speaker 1: this artist, as this guy that talks about he's investing
- 32:40Speaker 1: into the future. He leaves the Bachelor, opens up his
- 32:43Speaker 1: you know, coin base app, and goes, oh, crap, I
- 32:45Speaker 1: have nothing. You think that he's itching to get his
- 32:50Speaker 1: phone in his computer the entire time, and like every day,
- 32:53Speaker 1: there's an anxiety about it. Well, I mean, for a
- 32:56Speaker 1: long time in the crypto world, you made money on
- 32:58Speaker 1: a long term investor. So if you invested early, you're
- 33:01Speaker 1: making a lot of money over the long term. Well,
- 33:03Speaker 1: in the last five months, you really only made money
- 33:06Speaker 1: being a day trader of crypto because crypto is so
- 33:09Speaker 1: volatile and so up and down, and so if he
- 33:11Speaker 1: had to step away from that world for I don't
- 33:15Speaker 1: know how long he was there, let's say a month. Uh,
- 33:18Speaker 1: he lost out on a lot. A lot of people did.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I'm one of them. Hey, no, shame Toremaine in your game,
- 33:24Speaker 1: But we all have been hurting because of crypto. I
- 33:28Speaker 1: just got to watch it happen, and you were oblivious
- 33:30Speaker 1: to it because you were filming, And so I got
- 33:33Speaker 1: the enjoyment of every day waking up mean son of
- 33:36Speaker 1: a gun. This hurts and Tremaine just like was you know,
- 33:39Speaker 1: on a beach or cruise ship or wherever he was
- 33:42Speaker 1: doing random stuff with the bachelorettes. So ignorance is bliss
- 33:46Speaker 1: in this case, possibly possibly until a big shock when
- 33:52Speaker 1: he opened his computer. Okay, Tino is a twenty eight
- 33:57Speaker 1: year old general contractor from i adel Rey, California. Like
- 34:03Speaker 1: like we have seen in the past couple of seasons,
- 34:06Speaker 1: lots of l A locals. And do you know what
- 34:09Speaker 1: I found out recently? The casting producers take to dating
- 34:15Speaker 1: apps sometimes to find these guys, which is crazy to me.
- 34:21Speaker 1: They have not they have that few good applications from guys.
- 34:26Speaker 1: You think that they'd have stacks and stacks and then
- 34:28Speaker 1: they find some diamonds in the rough. But the fact
- 34:31Speaker 1: that they have to go out of their way and
- 34:32Speaker 1: get on dating apps, it's crazy. Tina's throwing me Tyler
- 34:36Speaker 1: Cameron vibes. Really. Oh, I'm just saying it. Watch out
- 34:44Speaker 1: for him. Well, speaking of Tyler's, we've got Tyler a
- 34:48Speaker 1: year old small business owner from Wildwood, New Jersey. He's
- 34:52Speaker 1: giving me Michael a vibes. Interesting. Yeah, he's he's a
- 34:57Speaker 1: sweet boy, sweet boy. He's a sweet boy. He cares,
- 35:03Speaker 1: he cares. He's not around a long time, but he's
- 35:05Speaker 1: a sweet boy, sweetboy. Al right. Next up, we have
- 35:09Speaker 1: Zach at twenty. Lastly, Zach a twenty five year old
- 35:12Speaker 1: tech executive from Anaheim Hills, California. He looks like he's
- 35:16Speaker 1: been on the show before, does he not? Like? Have
- 35:19Speaker 1: you not seen this profile picture before? Chad Johnson? Chad
- 35:23Speaker 1: Johnson right there? I mean that is that is a
- 35:26Speaker 1: Chad Johnson. Zach is the villain. He's the first person
- 35:28Speaker 1: on this whole time. I've said, I am confident that
- 35:32Speaker 1: Zach is a villain this season. I don't know why.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I think it's because of the Chad kind of look alike. Uh.
- 35:40Speaker 1: But yeah, Zach comes in. He's very hot. He didn't
- 35:44Speaker 1: even quit his job to come on the show. He
- 35:46Speaker 1: took a week's worth of vacation knowing that he was
- 35:49Speaker 1: going to find a way to get in and get
- 35:51Speaker 1: out and make a name for himself. And I think
- 35:53Speaker 1: he did it by being the villain. Okay, okay, okay,
- 35:58Speaker 1: now I'm telling you this right now. Actually, for all
- 36:00Speaker 1: the listeners out there, this this last segment would not
- 36:04Speaker 1: be fun unless you walk through each of these guys
- 36:07Speaker 1: with us. Give us your opinions. You don't know anything
- 36:09Speaker 1: about them. You're seeing a picture, So pull up their pictures.
- 36:12Speaker 1: It's been released. Go through them, give us your first impression,
- 36:17Speaker 1: send it into us. What do you think? What do
- 36:19Speaker 1: you what are you feeling? We could be wrong, In fact,
- 36:21Speaker 1: we're mostly wrong on all of them, but at least
- 36:23Speaker 1: now you know their names, their occupation, and where they're from.
- 36:26Speaker 1: And so go do your homework, do your research, look
- 36:30Speaker 1: at the pictures, pick your favorites, because hey, within the
- 36:33Speaker 1: next week, you're gonna have your bachelorette fantasy drafts. We
- 36:38Speaker 1: all know you're doing it, and you need to be
- 36:41Speaker 1: well prepared. And so if you need Ashley's first impression
- 36:44Speaker 1: on these men for that fantasy draft, we're giving it
- 36:47Speaker 1: free and willingly right here on the Almost Famous Podcast. Ashley,
- 36:50Speaker 1: we need to take a break. When we come back,
- 36:52Speaker 1: we have a lot of headlines this week. Um, some
- 36:55Speaker 1: that are not fun to talk about, some that are shocking. Uh,
- 36:59Speaker 1: but hey, it's our job, so let's share our opinions
- 37:02Speaker 1: right here on the Almost Face Podcast. It is time
- 37:15Speaker 1: for bachelor headlines with our resident expert, Ashley I Kennetti Ashley.
- 37:20Speaker 1: The first one here is a big one. It's a
- 37:23Speaker 1: really big one. Uh, and it's shocking to me. Honestly,
- 37:27Speaker 1: I did not expect this or see this coming. But
- 37:30Speaker 1: the bachelorettes Michelle Young and Nate break up after six months. Well,
- 37:36Speaker 1: I guess after the finale eleard six months ago. This
- 37:41Speaker 1: according nine months Yeah, this according to e A Rose
- 37:46Speaker 1: has wilted. They say, Um, this was Michelle's statement on
- 37:51Speaker 1: our Instagram. I'm struggling to say that Nate and I
- 37:53Speaker 1: will be going our separate ways, but I stand with
- 37:56Speaker 1: him and knowing the heaviness that is present in both
- 37:59Speaker 1: of our hearts as this relationship has been very real
- 38:02Speaker 1: for us. Um. She said to you, Nate, you clearly
- 38:06Speaker 1: became my best friend and the love I have for
- 38:09Speaker 1: you is incredibly strong. I will never stop wanting to
- 38:13Speaker 1: see you succeed. Um. She talks about how difficult the
- 38:18Speaker 1: relationship in the public I was, and then Nate echoed
- 38:23Speaker 1: her sentiment by saying, we both started this journey we
- 38:28Speaker 1: were looking for our soulmates are forever our best friends. However,
- 38:31Speaker 1: as we grow and learn, we realize that sometimes somebody
- 38:35Speaker 1: that you hold dear in your heart isn't someone that
- 38:37Speaker 1: you're meant to spend the rest of your life with um,
- 38:42Speaker 1: so you want to speculate a little bit. I mean,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I hate doing like you know. It makes me feel
- 38:46Speaker 1: bad because like we've met these people in real life.
- 38:48Speaker 1: They've always been so kind to us. And then it's
- 38:50Speaker 1: like you want to like dish, do you want to Well,
- 38:56Speaker 1: here's what I know. A few weeks ago, I think
- 38:59Speaker 1: it was probably two weeks ago, there were rumors swirling
- 39:02Speaker 1: about the two of them not being together, and they
- 39:04Speaker 1: both came out publicly and said, Hey, even though we
- 39:06Speaker 1: aren't together our time doesn't mean that we've broken up.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Remember our headline where she was seen out without her
- 39:13Speaker 1: ring and that was within the past month. And then
- 39:16Speaker 1: she got to Instagram and she said, I never liked
- 39:19Speaker 1: to address things like this, but like I was, I
- 39:21Speaker 1: gave my ring across the table for a friend to
- 39:24Speaker 1: put on. So now we have to kind of think
- 39:28Speaker 1: was that for real or was that as an excuse
- 39:31Speaker 1: making was she not ready to be public about it?
- 39:34Speaker 1: But then Ben, there are other things. They were both
- 39:38Speaker 1: spotted at Wango Tango together. After that, they were spotted
- 39:42Speaker 1: and matching outfits at Wango Tango, and that was two
- 39:46Speaker 1: weeks ago. To be specific, it was sixteen days ago.
- 39:50Speaker 1: You were there, right, yeah, I was there. Now. We
- 39:54Speaker 1: did want them on the podcast. They were on the
- 39:57Speaker 1: rundown to be on that Whango Tango podcast, but they
- 40:02Speaker 1: left before their slot to come and sit down with me. Now,
- 40:08Speaker 1: was that intentional or not? I'm not sure. They weren't
- 40:11Speaker 1: the only one, like, okay, so they're rep like their
- 40:15Speaker 1: pr um rep. She wrapped a couple of the bachelor
- 40:20Speaker 1: people that were there that day, and all of them
- 40:22Speaker 1: were kind of leaving Waingo Tango at the same time.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I think that they had another event or dinner scheduled,
- 40:30Speaker 1: so they were like all getting out of there. So
- 40:31Speaker 1: I'm not going to say that they intentionally didn't come
- 40:34Speaker 1: on the podcast because they were on the rocks. From
- 40:37Speaker 1: what I saw, I went go tango and it was
- 40:39Speaker 1: very brief. The times that I saw them. I saw
- 40:42Speaker 1: them like out in the parking lot, they seemed in
- 40:45Speaker 1: good spirits. I saw them at the bar, they also
- 40:48Speaker 1: seemed a good spirits. I was like, you guys were
- 40:50Speaker 1: the most studding couple I've ever seen in my life, Like,
- 40:52Speaker 1: holy crap um. And that was basically it Also, I'll
- 41:00Speaker 1: give credit to the reddit boards. I went on the
- 41:02Speaker 1: reddit boards and read about this stuff, and they wonder
- 41:06Speaker 1: whether or not they were together during Wango Tango, whether
- 41:10Speaker 1: they had been broken up at that point, and then
- 41:12Speaker 1: they just like stuck it through because it was the
- 41:14Speaker 1: weekend of events and they didn't want to cancel. There's
- 41:17Speaker 1: also an interview from the Red Carpet of Wango Tango
- 41:22Speaker 1: in which Nate I watched it, and it's awkward because
- 41:25Speaker 1: Nate is totally checked out and Michelle is talking about
- 41:29Speaker 1: their future and she's the only one for like four
- 41:32Speaker 1: and a half minutes just talking about their their upcoming
- 41:35Speaker 1: plans together as a couple. Uh. So people wonder whether
- 41:39Speaker 1: they were like she was just trying to put on
- 41:41Speaker 1: good face and he couldn't like lie. Uh And then finally,
- 41:47Speaker 1: as far as rumors go, and like you know, message
- 41:51Speaker 1: board chatter, there was somebody said that the week of
- 41:59Speaker 1: the Texas shooting, which was like, I guess four weeks
- 42:04Speaker 1: ago now, Um, Michelle was in the teacher's lounge crying
- 42:09Speaker 1: about their breakup and the shooting was understandably making her
- 42:13Speaker 1: even more emotional that week. I don't know how somebody
- 42:17Speaker 1: would know that. I guess that would be like somebody
- 42:21Speaker 1: at the school saw this soon after it was announced
- 42:26Speaker 1: that she was no longer going back to teaching, but
- 42:28Speaker 1: she did finish out this year. Sounds like no matter what, Michelle,
- 42:34Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know a lot about Nate right now,
- 42:36Speaker 1: but it sounds like Michelle has a lot going on,
- 42:39Speaker 1: right I mean, as a teacher, obviously you have a
- 42:42Speaker 1: lot to process and a lot to hold emotionally. And
- 42:47Speaker 1: then she does leave that profession, which is a big
- 42:51Speaker 1: decision considering how long she's done it and how passionate
- 42:54Speaker 1: she is about it. Uh, she has a breakup. She
- 42:59Speaker 1: sounds she's a lot going on. Uh, it is a
- 43:02Speaker 1: sad breakup because I really thought with their story and
- 43:07Speaker 1: kind of the men at the end of her season
- 43:09Speaker 1: that they were for real. Um. I also thought it
- 43:15Speaker 1: was for real because I mean, geez, the Bachelor gave
- 43:17Speaker 1: him a lot of money to go buy a house,
- 43:19Speaker 1: so I thought, Hey, everyone wants to know what's happening
- 43:23Speaker 1: to the money. Did they buy a house? I'm assuming
- 43:28Speaker 1: they didn't buy a house, because I think there we
- 43:30Speaker 1: would have had a headline saying Michelle and Nate use
- 43:33Speaker 1: money given by the bachelor to buy a house and like,
- 43:37Speaker 1: then they'll end up showing the real estate because that's
- 43:39Speaker 1: what they do. Like in the media world, we never
- 43:44Speaker 1: saw that, so you know, mostly people are like they
- 43:49Speaker 1: have to give back the ring if they've only been
- 43:50Speaker 1: to if they've been together less than two years. Uh,
- 43:53Speaker 1: this is way more money than the ring. Yeah. If
- 43:57Speaker 1: I was them, I would have gone buy a house
- 43:58Speaker 1: right away and said, hey, no matter what happens, we
- 44:01Speaker 1: split this, right baby, They say, yes, Um, okay, Well.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Moving on to happier news Bachelor Nations, Tia Booth is pregnant.
- 44:11Speaker 1: She's expecting first child with fiance Taylor mock Is. According
- 44:15Speaker 1: to e she is so happy for them. He is
- 44:19Speaker 1: going to be a great mom. She's I can't wait
- 44:21Speaker 1: to see the mom realness from her too. She says.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Um this has of course been like the most challenging
- 44:27Speaker 1: follower's day thus far because she lost her dad a
- 44:30Speaker 1: couple of months ago. She goes, I've never felt such
- 44:34Speaker 1: overwhelming sadness and pure joy at the same time. It's
- 44:38Speaker 1: been difficult to be grateful for the good as if
- 44:41Speaker 1: one of the most important people in my life is missing.
- 44:44Speaker 1: As one of the most poor people in my life
- 44:45Speaker 1: is missing the celebration. I wish I could tell my
- 44:48Speaker 1: dad the good news in person. It brings me peace
- 44:51Speaker 1: that he knows about it long before I do. Um.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Welcoming a new little life while mourning the loss of
- 44:57Speaker 1: another proofs that that high emotions can exist simultaneously. I
- 45:03Speaker 1: have no doubt that my dad had a hand in this.
- 45:05Speaker 1: That is so so sweet, so many feelings just reading
- 45:10Speaker 1: those words. Um, I'm really happy again for them, and
- 45:15Speaker 1: I think that she is fully through her first trimester. Well,
- 45:23Speaker 1: she also had some drama when it came to posting
- 45:25Speaker 1: about this right she posted in well why did Instagram
- 45:30Speaker 1: take it down? All I saw like once I saw
- 45:33Speaker 1: on her story a picture with like the hand on
- 45:37Speaker 1: the belly and all that, I was like, oh my gosh,
- 45:38Speaker 1: she's this is a pregnancy announcement. And then she said
- 45:41Speaker 1: something along the lines of like to go go check
- 45:44Speaker 1: out my post. And then she realized minutes later that
- 45:47Speaker 1: the post was taken down. Why would Instagram ever take
- 45:50Speaker 1: that down? That's so strange, it's odd. I'm sure it
- 45:54Speaker 1: was just a mess up. Glitch glitch. Not a good
- 45:58Speaker 1: glitch though. The worst glitch you look forward to your
- 46:01Speaker 1: pregnancy announcement plant and then it goes south like that.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It's tough. It's tough. Oh well, it doesn't matter. Everybody
- 46:10Speaker 1: loved the announcement once they got to see it. Oh,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I know they did. I know they did. Hey, we're
- 46:16Speaker 1: gonna share a little bit about what we know about
- 46:18Speaker 1: Bachelor in Paradise here and just a bit um. But
- 46:23Speaker 1: before we do, we have a couple of headlines from
- 46:26Speaker 1: some past contestants on The Bachelor. At Brian, who was
- 46:31Speaker 1: married to Rachel from Rachel Lindsay season of The Bachelor,
- 46:36Speaker 1: share secret to successful marriage with Rachel Lindsay. Also, they
- 46:40Speaker 1: talked about their plan for kids. This according to US Weekly,
- 46:45Speaker 1: Brian says, I feel like it's been a long time,
- 46:49Speaker 1: but what we really think about it. Time has gone by,
- 46:51Speaker 1: has flown by since meeting Rachel. He said that, Um,
- 46:59Speaker 1: we just got a new how else we have our dogs,
- 47:01Speaker 1: kids are in the future as well. We just got
- 47:03Speaker 1: a lot of things going on. Our careers are flourishing.
- 47:05Speaker 1: We're both in a good place. Um. And as far
- 47:10Speaker 1: as making their relationship a priority, he says, we can't
- 47:13Speaker 1: lose sight of why we came together In the first place,
- 47:16Speaker 1: and that was love right. So we have planned dates,
- 47:19Speaker 1: even if it's just the most basic thing. Um, as
- 47:22Speaker 1: long as we're spending quality time together, that's what matters.
- 47:25Speaker 1: The pastor who performed their wedding did premarital counseling with
- 47:29Speaker 1: them and said that it was important for you to
- 47:32Speaker 1: continue to date and pursue your partner and to set
- 47:35Speaker 1: aside time to have those quality intimate moments with each
- 47:39Speaker 1: other where you can grow as a couple. Next headline
- 47:43Speaker 1: is Mike Johnson is hoping for a love triangle with
- 47:46Speaker 1: Gabby and Rachel on The Bachelorette. This according to US Weekly. Okay,
- 47:50Speaker 1: so this is what Mike said. It's pretty simple. He goes,
- 47:53Speaker 1: I would really love to see a love triangle between
- 47:56Speaker 1: one of the contestants and then two bachelor at leads
- 48:00Speaker 1: slightly a controversial statement since I think a lot of
- 48:02Speaker 1: people are already weary about the girls being pitted against
- 48:06Speaker 1: each other, even though it seems like production keeps saying
- 48:08Speaker 1: that like they've done everything they could to to prevent that.
- 48:13Speaker 1: So he said this on Talking Out his podcast with
- 48:15Speaker 1: Brian absloh and he says, Then Brian responded by saying,
- 48:20Speaker 1: they seem like best friends. They're obviously relying on each
- 48:22Speaker 1: other and leaning on each other throughout this entire journey.
- 48:25Speaker 1: But I got a figure there's gonna be one guy
- 48:28Speaker 1: that's gonna walk in that's gonna knock their socks off,
- 48:31Speaker 1: and there may be going to both veer towards him,
- 48:36Speaker 1: and I have to agree. I mean, I'm not like
- 48:39Speaker 1: rooting for a love triangle because I do want them
- 48:43Speaker 1: to be as little conflict between the girls as possible,
- 48:45Speaker 1: But there's gonna be there's gonna be a guy that
- 48:49Speaker 1: they both want. I just don't know how it doesn't
- 48:52Speaker 1: happen crazy unnatural. Yeah, I just don't know how it
- 48:55Speaker 1: doesn't happen, Like I don't. I still have confused on
- 48:59Speaker 1: the format it has to. I guess the question is
- 49:02Speaker 1: how as Rachel and Gabby handle And it sounds like
- 49:04Speaker 1: they handle it really well. Um Jason or Jason Tartick
- 49:09Speaker 1: brought up a good point and he's like, hey, they
- 49:11Speaker 1: can make it through this season being Bachelorette. It's gonna
- 49:14Speaker 1: be the post show airing where things could get hard
- 49:17Speaker 1: because you see maybe one of the bachelorette's doing better
- 49:20Speaker 1: than the other on social media. Or the fans reaction
- 49:22Speaker 1: is better. So there's just I feel like, right now
- 49:25Speaker 1: they're handling it really well. Um so it makes me
- 49:29Speaker 1: think even if there's a love triangle, they talk it
- 49:31Speaker 1: out and they have good communication. Well yeah, speaking of
- 49:35Speaker 1: good communication, Bachelor Nations, Zach Clark is fiercely defending ex
- 49:41Speaker 1: Tasia Adams from haters. This according to e I loved this.
- 49:46Speaker 1: When I saw this, I think I came across before
- 49:50Speaker 1: there were even articles written about it. So somebody wrote
- 49:56Speaker 1: under tastious picture saying like why do you constantly post
- 50:01Speaker 1: selfies and boobs and bikinis? And then Zach couldn't help
- 50:07Speaker 1: himself and he went and he stood up for his acts,
- 50:10Speaker 1: which is I think it's awesome. He says, congrats you
- 50:13Speaker 1: got me. My first and hopefully last clap back. He
- 50:16Speaker 1: wrote in the comments section directed at her, says enough
- 50:20Speaker 1: is enough. One of the problems with social media is
- 50:22Speaker 1: it gives people like you a voice and unwarranted power.
- 50:27Speaker 1: The truth is, we see this, I see this. It's
- 50:30Speaker 1: hard to avoid and it's just not nice, especially when
- 50:34Speaker 1: you have no idea what you're talking about. Slash, you
- 50:40Speaker 1: just making up, so you're just mad he's just angry. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:45Speaker 1: well makes sense. He's protecting Tasia, which is a big deal.
- 50:49Speaker 1: That's great of him. Maybe it doesn't isn't necessarily his
- 50:55Speaker 1: role or his responsibile anymore. But it's nice that he's
- 50:57Speaker 1: doing it. I think so. He also elaborates. He says
- 51:00Speaker 1: even more. He says, I struggle to see why you
- 51:03Speaker 1: would be mean for no reason. Being kind is so
- 51:06Speaker 1: much easier, I promise, So at Tasha, the noise, keep
- 51:11Speaker 1: doing your thing, wear the clothes you want to wear,
- 51:15Speaker 1: take the videos you want to take, and keep shining.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I know you, and I know you're a really good person.
- 51:21Speaker 1: M m, well, uh, it's nice that Zach is defending Tassia,
- 51:27Speaker 1: and it is. I mean, if I was to read
- 51:29Speaker 1: through the lines, it's like, oh, he's defending Tassia because
- 51:31Speaker 1: they ended on decent terms. It sounds like um, and
- 51:35Speaker 1: then he wants the truth to be out there. A
- 51:37Speaker 1: couple more headlines for you, Jojoe Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers.
- 51:40Speaker 1: TBS show canceled weeks before premiere. This according to page six,
- 51:47Speaker 1: this sucks. Okay, So last summer they filmed this show
- 51:51Speaker 1: called The Big d and before it even premiere. The
- 51:56Speaker 1: network announced on Friday that to ensure we have the
- 52:01Speaker 1: right content mixed to support our network strategies, we're canceling it.
- 52:06Speaker 1: We're grateful to Jojo and Jordans and the executive producers
- 52:10Speaker 1: for their partnership through the process. Was a ten episode
- 52:14Speaker 1: dating series which I saw commercials for UM. Your there
- 52:18Speaker 1: following ten divorce couples who move into a tropical villa
- 52:22Speaker 1: in Costa Rica together and they relearned how to date
- 52:26Speaker 1: and look for love with other contestants surrounded by your
- 52:30Speaker 1: like b X. It sounds like a great concept, a
- 52:34Speaker 1: really great concept, UM. But the cancelation comes after Warner
- 52:38Speaker 1: Media emerged with Discovery in April two and acting the
- 52:44Speaker 1: Big d UM was in a string of other cancelations
- 52:48Speaker 1: after the network announced that it would be cutting three
- 52:51Speaker 1: billion in costs over the next three years. How frustrating
- 52:56Speaker 1: that must be to be excited about being the host
- 53:00Speaker 1: of a show going down and experiencing the filming of
- 53:03Speaker 1: the show and then it getting canceled before it airs. Well,
- 53:09Speaker 1: here's my question. I don't know the entertainment world well enough.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Somebody out there can explain to me. But if it's
- 53:13Speaker 1: already filmed and your hosts are already paid and you
- 53:17Speaker 1: have all the content, why do you cancel it before
- 53:20Speaker 1: you air it? I mean it's just think of read
- 53:24Speaker 1: something about the fact that, like they'd have to pay
- 53:27Speaker 1: for the advertisements that ran during it, and like that's
- 53:30Speaker 1: what they don't want to put the money on the
- 53:32Speaker 1: show that they think they can replace with another show
- 53:37Speaker 1: that would do possibly better or in their opinion, is
- 53:40Speaker 1: like more on brand for them. Now okay, well, hey
- 53:43Speaker 1: that is too bad. That is frustrating. So we have
- 53:46Speaker 1: two more headlines. One is bigger than the other. We
- 53:49Speaker 1: started with an announcement of a breakup, and we're an end.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Really our headlines with an announcement of a breakup. Bachelorrette
- 53:58Speaker 1: star Katie Thurston and John Hersey break up. The decision
- 54:03Speaker 1: was not made lightly this according to People, So the
- 54:06Speaker 1: breakup was confirmed this morning when John took to Instagram
- 54:11Speaker 1: and said, as Katie stayed earlier, we are no longer dating.
- 54:15Speaker 1: The decision was not made lightly and it was obviously
- 54:17Speaker 1: not an easy one to make. I love being able
- 54:20Speaker 1: to share special moments with all of you, the funny ones,
- 54:22Speaker 1: the happy ones, the outrageous, embarrassing and heartfelt ones. But
- 54:25Speaker 1: I don't know if I will ever get it, will
- 54:27Speaker 1: ever get easier to share sad ones. I appreciate every
- 54:30Speaker 1: one of you that has supported us through this journey.
- 54:33Speaker 1: We could not and would not be here without you. So,
- 54:36Speaker 1: you know, quite a week for bachelor breakups. That's really sad,
- 54:42Speaker 1: really sucky. I thought their story was cool. You know
- 54:46Speaker 1: how she ended up dating long, long ish term six
- 54:50Speaker 1: months a guy that she eliminated week three of her season.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Oh but you know alas another breakup. Yeah, I mean
- 54:59Speaker 1: it was an other breakup. Here's the thing. They were
- 55:02Speaker 1: just dating. I know, they're having like talks about the future.
- 55:06Speaker 1: This wasn't a couple that came off of the show
- 55:08Speaker 1: like engaged, and they were thinking that they were going
- 55:10Speaker 1: to make it forever. They were in the figure it
- 55:13Speaker 1: out stage. People break up from the figure it out
- 55:16Speaker 1: stage all the time, Like that's just a thing. And
- 55:18Speaker 1: so it is unfortunate, uh, you know, because it was
- 55:21Speaker 1: a cool story, but it's not shocking in the sense
- 55:24Speaker 1: of you know, the Michelle Nates where it's like, hey,
- 55:27Speaker 1: you two thought you were gonna make it forever, which
- 55:29Speaker 1: you know, this showed sometimes works sometimes doesn't they're just
- 55:33Speaker 1: figuring it out and so they're moving forward now, just
- 55:36Speaker 1: not together. Okay, final headline, it's a big one, just
- 55:41Speaker 1: in the sense of we're excited about it. Bachelor in
- 55:43Speaker 1: Paradise Season eight premier day announced this according to screen right, Okay,
- 55:48Speaker 1: so it's going to be premiering on Tuesday, September at
- 55:52Speaker 1: eight pm, and then the double episodes, you know, two
- 55:56Speaker 1: episodes a week, will begin on Monday, octob over a
- 56:00Speaker 1: third at eight so you'll get one episode the week
- 56:03Speaker 1: of September, and then we will continue the Paradise journey
- 56:08Speaker 1: on October three and have two episodes a week. It's
- 56:12Speaker 1: gonna be weird having Paradise in the fall, right, It's
- 56:15Speaker 1: such a summer show. But maybe we'll get more episodes
- 56:18Speaker 1: because of it. It'll be like a full blown Bachelor's season.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I just feel like I'm gonna enjoy watching Paradise whenever happens.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I'm excited about it. Some good contestants this year. Well,
- 56:26Speaker 1: before we go today, I just want to take a
- 56:28Speaker 1: moment to thank all the fabulous v i P partners
