- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's Almost Famous Podcast. We're here to break down episode
- 0:09Speaker 2: three of Bachelor and Paradise, the horniest episode ever to me,
- 0:16Speaker 2: put on family friendly television. Ashley, you have a lot
- 0:21Speaker 2: of thoughts about this episode.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Well, I really liked the episode, but the word horny,
- 0:26Speaker 3: I've never liked it, Like even when I figured out
- 0:29Speaker 3: what it meant in seventh grade, I was like, Oh,
- 0:31Speaker 3: I don't like this word. I don't know. It's like
- 0:33Speaker 3: visual like to me, I feel like I could like
- 0:35Speaker 3: see somebody actually like turned on, like I can see
- 0:38Speaker 3: their privates. All right, Yeah, I like it, not into
- 0:42Speaker 3: the word because I just feel like, yeah, it's like
- 0:45Speaker 3: a lot. So definitely you're.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Kind of blushing. Does it make you blush when you
- 0:50Speaker 2: hear it?
- 0:50Speaker 3: No, I like, I think it's actually like a I
- 0:52Speaker 3: don't like it. It's a gross, like cheap way of
- 0:55Speaker 3: saying turned on.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It's like how some people uh to moist. Yeah, it's
- 1:02Speaker 2: like kind of like the same visual, same idea.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I get it. Ashley. You started out here just a
- 1:11Speaker 2: second ago saying you have a lot of thoughts in
- 1:12Speaker 2: the episode as do. I let's dive into it. You know,
- 1:18Speaker 2: we're gonna start it out talking about this Justin and Susie.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Situation, which did you see breaking news? Yeah, they just
- 1:24Speaker 3: went back and forth on Instagram.
- 1:26Speaker 2: So I think the only way to accurately cover what
- 1:31Speaker 2: happened actually in Paradise, and if somebody wants to know how,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I believe. I don't know anymore, but I would believe
- 1:37Speaker 2: that the show is still fairly unscripted. It's all unscripted,
- 1:41Speaker 2: but it is definitely produced. This is a good example
- 1:45Speaker 2: of it because we're getting a behind the scenes glimpse
- 1:49Speaker 2: ashlely as you pull up the text conversation or the
- 1:52Speaker 2: Instagram conversation that Lexi and Justin have had publicly first
- 1:56Speaker 2: all to witness here just recently. I want to say this,
- 2:01Speaker 2: I think the show made a massive mistake here. I
- 2:03Speaker 2: don't understand what the show is doing. I am getting
- 2:05Speaker 2: more invested into Paradise, but I do want to talk
- 2:10Speaker 2: to you for a second before we talk about Justin
- 2:12Speaker 2: Suzie LEXI that I think the show has missed the mark.
- 2:18Speaker 2: And if I was in production, and I think the
- 2:20Speaker 2: product producers of the past would have made sure this
- 2:22Speaker 2: never happened. I don't know why these contestants that are
- 2:28Speaker 2: coming to the beach are not given necessarily opportunity to
- 2:32Speaker 2: connect with anybody. It feels impossible to come to the
- 2:36Speaker 2: beach and to make any sort of real connection, to
- 2:38Speaker 2: stick around at all. My second thought to that is,
- 2:41Speaker 2: it wouldn't matter as much if it wasn't Susie. Susie
- 2:46Speaker 2: is one of the reasons I wanted to watch Paradise
- 2:49Speaker 2: or Justin's dynamic for the next few weeks on how
- 2:51Speaker 2: they navigated being a couple, breaking up publicly, being beloved
- 2:57Speaker 2: by so many us, being around them, loving them, thinking
- 3:00Speaker 2: they're both great and really get together. Uh, and then
- 3:04Speaker 2: both being on the beach, which feels like a home
- 3:06Speaker 2: run for the show to get feels like a home
- 3:09Speaker 2: run to convince them both to show up again. And
- 3:10Speaker 2: now Susie's gone after a few short scenes and moments.
- 3:15Speaker 2: And even in those short scenes and moments, she created
- 3:19Speaker 2: a story that we will talk about for the rest
- 3:20Speaker 2: of the season. How did they let her go go
- 3:23Speaker 2: home so fast?
- 3:25Speaker 3: It is so weird. My only thought is that something
- 3:28Speaker 3: went awry and they figured it out like they wanted
- 3:31Speaker 3: him to give Susie the rose and then they and
- 3:34Speaker 3: Susie did look flabbergasted that he decided to do that.
- 3:39Speaker 3: My thought was that maybe you know, you know, guys,
- 3:42Speaker 3: when we speak about this, we're talking about how it's
- 3:45Speaker 3: like high level produced where it's like they have a
- 3:48Speaker 3: plan but like some but sometimes like they can't go,
- 3:53Speaker 3: like their plan just doesn't work out. So I think
- 3:56Speaker 3: that what production wanted to happen was that Susie did
- 4:00Speaker 3: except Justin's rose, and then the two of them would
- 4:04Speaker 3: have stayed in Paradise together and we would have continued
- 4:07Speaker 3: to see relationships happen between the two of them and
- 4:10Speaker 3: between the you know, between the two of them and outwardly.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I my favorite parts of this whole week were the
- 4:18Speaker 3: conversations between Justin and Susie, because there are between two
- 4:22Speaker 3: people that knew each other so deeply and you could
- 4:24Speaker 3: tell love each other so deeply.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I still think Justin's in love with Susie. I don't
- 4:29Speaker 2: know how she feels about it.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Actually I don't know, no, but I have heard that
- 4:35Speaker 3: Susie is the heartbroken one in this relationship, that he
- 4:39Speaker 3: was the one that broke up with her again. I
- 4:42Speaker 3: don't even remember the source so it might just be
- 4:45Speaker 3: total hearsay and watching the show, I also interpreted it
- 4:50Speaker 3: like she was the heartbroken one you thought otherwise, or
- 4:52Speaker 3: you just still think that he's in love with her.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I just think I think it just based on life.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I guess I'm not like pulling back moments from the show.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I could be completely wrong there. Either way, this was
- 5:05Speaker 2: a storyline to keep me watching every week. I'm going
- 5:07Speaker 2: to keep watching every week. It's not like I don't
- 5:09Speaker 2: like the show, but this was a storyline I was
- 5:11Speaker 2: going to be excited to fall along with. It's one
- 5:13Speaker 2: of those that you kind of engross yourself in, yeah,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and say, how does this get navigated? Where did they
- 5:18Speaker 2: end up? Do they rekindle something or are they okay
- 5:21Speaker 2: watching each other date side by side. Those are the
- 5:24Speaker 2: kind of things that I'm so intrigued by in Paradise,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and I think we lost the greatest moment for that
- 5:32Speaker 2: between Justin and Susie.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not going to give myself like the whole
- 5:37Speaker 3: like wow, I had a great storyline, but Jared in
- 5:40Speaker 3: my storyline was obviously interesting because we had had a relationship,
- 5:44Speaker 3: a friendship relationship what everyone call it off camera? Same
- 5:47Speaker 3: with Kendall and Joe that was so interesting, dominated the
- 5:53Speaker 3: storylines in that Bachelor of Paradise four years ago, and
- 5:56Speaker 3: now we had this opportunity to have a couple that
- 5:59Speaker 3: was apparently together for longer than we even a new
- 6:03Speaker 3: interact on the beach together. It was super disappointing to
- 6:08Speaker 3: see both of them leave, even if just one of
- 6:10Speaker 3: them stayed, even if it was just Susie. I couldn't
- 6:12Speaker 3: believe as she left that. I was like, you're gonna
- 6:15Speaker 3: let a prior winner leave like this, like you're golden girl,
- 6:21Speaker 3: like she was supposed to be their golden girl.
- 6:23Speaker 2: To me, Yeah, there's no way they should have let
- 6:25Speaker 2: her go. I mean, old production would have just said, like, hey,
- 6:28Speaker 2: all of a sudden, Jesse comes out with one extra rose,
- 6:30Speaker 2: and it's like, hey, we just want to give it
- 6:31Speaker 2: to you.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Oh I love my girl, Jil, right, I love Jill.
- 6:35Speaker 3: But what I thought what was gonna happen there was
- 6:37Speaker 3: that Jesse was gonna come out with a rose for
- 6:40Speaker 3: both Susie and Lexi.
- 6:43Speaker 2: And say, hey, this is obviously not over. Jesse explains
- 6:47Speaker 2: that there hasn't been enough time to form this relationship, right,
- 6:50Speaker 2: there's no rules in Paradise, and so the show has
- 6:53Speaker 2: decided to let them both stay for another week, and
- 6:57Speaker 2: we kind of see how this is going to go.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I would have loved I know it would have and
- 7:02Speaker 2: I think Bachelor Nation misses those kind of no rules
- 7:05Speaker 2: moments where like, hey, that seems unfair, but I.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Love it exactly, Like I just want my favorites to
- 7:11Speaker 3: stay around at the end of the day, Like, yes,
- 7:14Speaker 3: is that producy? Yeah? But sometimes maybe like we're being
- 7:17Speaker 3: hypocrites right now because we're actually telling them what we
- 7:20Speaker 3: wanted them to step in and like produce the show
- 7:22Speaker 3: a bit.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Right. And then with Justin, well, let's talk about this
- 7:30Speaker 3: online drama between Justin and Lexi. Okay, so I'm not
- 7:35Speaker 3: gonna read it word for word because it's pretty thick,
- 7:37Speaker 3: like they went back and forth quite a bit.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah, just break it down for it.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah, they're arguing that she's saying, you were you know,
- 7:44Speaker 3: exactly who I thought you were. You weren't in it
- 7:47Speaker 3: for me, you still had things for Susie. I was
- 7:50Speaker 3: in the right to have my guard up with you.
- 7:53Speaker 3: And then Justin is explaining himself like he's like, I'll
- 7:59Speaker 3: read justin initial because then and then I'll be able
- 8:02Speaker 3: to sum up better.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Let's be clear here, So this is happening on Instagram.
- 8:06Speaker 2: It's happening on a post that Justin made about this
- 8:11Speaker 2: last episode of the show. It just came out recently.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Lexi then responded to Justin's post and Justin re responded
- 8:18Speaker 2: back to her, followed by Lexi responding back and Justin
- 8:21Speaker 2: finally responding back. It's been a back and forth publicly
- 8:24Speaker 2: for us all to see. This is not something that
- 8:25Speaker 2: you couldn't look up yourselves, but we're here to save
- 8:28Speaker 2: you time on your drives, right and break it down
- 8:31Speaker 2: for you.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Okay, So he said I had no intention to lead
- 8:33Speaker 3: anyone on. I was very intentional with who I pursued,
- 8:36Speaker 3: but unfortunately the same interest was not reciprocated for days
- 8:40Speaker 3: where I was and then informed that this person didn't
- 8:44Speaker 3: have interest in dating somebody that lived outside of where
- 8:47Speaker 3: she lived, and she was I was unsure that we
- 8:51Speaker 3: wanted the same things out of life. This conversation wasn't
- 8:54Speaker 3: shown as well as me as as well as telling
- 8:59Speaker 3: me to pursue other women. So Lexie apparently told him
- 9:01Speaker 3: that as she wanted to pursue other men prior to
- 9:07Speaker 3: ending things with me. Yes, I will get I totally
- 9:12Speaker 3: give Justin credit here. I didn't think Justin look at
- 9:14Speaker 3: a bad guy at all. I think Justin looked like
- 9:15Speaker 3: such a good guy. He's the kind of guy that
- 9:18Speaker 3: you'd want to marry. That's what I thought watching this.
- 9:21Speaker 3: So when I saw this conversation, and sorry, I'm just
- 9:24Speaker 3: interrupting the reading right now, but when I saw his excuse,
- 9:29Speaker 3: you know that he was trying to defend himself on Instagram,
- 9:32Speaker 3: I was like, oh, lots of people out there didn't
- 9:35Speaker 3: think that that was the gentlemanly good thing to do. Interesting,
- 9:38Speaker 3: how like, so people can interpret it in different ways anyway.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Continuing the conversation before the rose ceremony was the first
- 9:45Speaker 3: time I received any sense of interest from her. I
- 9:48Speaker 3: found it concerning that of all the reservations from less
- 9:53Speaker 3: than twenty four hours earlier were no longer there just
- 9:56Speaker 3: minutes before we lined up for the rose ceremony. She's like, oh,
- 10:00Speaker 3: by the way, like, uh okay, see, no right. I
- 10:03Speaker 3: chose to self sacrifice for someone I deeply care about
- 10:06Speaker 3: rather than take the chance of continuing to pursue someone
- 10:10Speaker 3: who I didn't feel genuinely was interested in me. I
- 10:13Speaker 3: hope you can understand it was a difficult situation for
- 10:16Speaker 3: all parties to navigate. Okay, Then Lexi goes on to
- 10:21Speaker 3: basically say, what you're saying is simply not true, and
- 10:23Speaker 3: you know it, so comes out with a bomb, a
- 10:27Speaker 3: bomb that in which to be honest. Maybe it's because
- 10:30Speaker 3: I'm friends with Justin and I've never met Lexi, but
- 10:34Speaker 3: based on what I saw and based on the person
- 10:35Speaker 3: that I know, I'm definitely a team Justin. Here she's
- 10:40Speaker 3: saying that, like you should. She goes, I suggest you
- 10:45Speaker 3: reflect on how you show up in that space because
- 10:48Speaker 3: this narrative isn't it. I won't let you twist my
- 10:52Speaker 3: words or rewrite my truth. We both know the reality
- 10:55Speaker 3: of what happened. I hope you take the time to
- 10:59Speaker 3: grow and heal. I'm sorry, but to me, from the
- 11:05Speaker 3: past seven hours of footage that we've watched, and yes,
- 11:09Speaker 3: I know not everything is there, but it seemed to
- 11:14Speaker 3: me that she was extremely hesitant over him. Seems as
- 11:17Speaker 3: if she basically said, we're no longer continuing this until
- 11:22Speaker 3: we saw that that conversation that happened before the Rowst
- 11:26Speaker 3: ceremony in which she said, you know, she gave him
- 11:29Speaker 3: a kiss. She seemed a little more interested in I know, Ben,
- 11:35Speaker 3: your take, well.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I don't think you use platitudes like I hope you
- 11:39Speaker 2: take time to grow and heal.
- 11:41Speaker 3: That is a massive just punch, really, I think the
- 11:46Speaker 3: punch of this is more so when she says, I
- 11:52Speaker 3: won't let you like basically describe this narrative because it's
- 11:57Speaker 3: not accurate.
- 11:58Speaker 2: None of that's personal until the very and the personal
- 12:00Speaker 2: in the very end is you as a person need
- 12:03Speaker 2: to grow and heal. If I told you that, Ashley,
- 12:05Speaker 2: or if I just confronted you and said, hey, don't
- 12:08Speaker 2: twist my words, you would take a lot more offense
- 12:11Speaker 2: to me saying, you know what, actually, best of luck
- 12:14Speaker 2: to you. I hope you grow and heal and become
- 12:16Speaker 2: a better person, because right now you suck.
- 12:20Speaker 3: She goes further. She goes wishing you clarity and accountability
- 12:24Speaker 3: on that path. Please don't share my story or use
- 12:28Speaker 3: my words that are simply not true. And then he
- 12:31Speaker 3: responds by basically saying, you told me that you that
- 12:36Speaker 3: you are in la justin growing your business. I'm in
- 12:39Speaker 3: Atlanta growing mine. I have no plans of leaving I'm
- 12:43Speaker 3: not sure we even want the same things out of life.
- 12:47Speaker 3: That is what she said to him within twenty four hours,
- 12:51Speaker 3: is what he's saying, And he says luckily cameras were
- 12:54Speaker 3: present for the conversation. In the cameras caught footage that
- 12:59Speaker 3: will never be aired unfortunately.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, okay, a few things take away from
- 13:04Speaker 2: this one. I don't think Justin's times on Paradise have
- 13:07Speaker 2: been great for him. He should probably retire from Paradise.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I like Justin, I like hanging out with him. He's
- 13:13Speaker 2: a great guy. He's really funny, he's very charismatic. He's
- 13:16Speaker 2: a very handsome gentleman. Paradise never seems to be his spot.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It just doesn't seem to work, and I don't know why.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I can't even explain why. My second thought to this
- 13:26Speaker 2: is that I am enjoying out of all of this
- 13:28Speaker 2: and all the issues that I have that Susie left
- 13:30Speaker 2: so early and not really knowing how the Lexi and
- 13:32Speaker 2: Justin conversation went. You can get on Instagram, you can
- 13:36Speaker 2: dive into this for yourself. What I do appreciate about
- 13:40Speaker 2: this season so far is we are at this point,
- 13:43Speaker 2: like barely two plus episodes in and we have a
- 13:47Speaker 2: relationship already causing drama. Amazing for this show. Amazing that
- 13:53Speaker 2: the show, somehow, in this very packed environment at a
- 13:58Speaker 2: very isolated resort, cultivated some type of relationship that is
- 14:03Speaker 2: causing some type of drama. It could have been. I
- 14:07Speaker 2: was worried that this season of Paradise would feel so
- 14:09Speaker 2: light the whole time, where we would never have a
- 14:13Speaker 2: connection made, or if we did, it felt very lucy,
- 14:15Speaker 2: goosey and flighty and never really committed to. Already we
- 14:20Speaker 2: have a fight. Hey, not an advocate of fights, not
- 14:23Speaker 2: an advocate for either side here, but a big advocate
- 14:27Speaker 2: that people care. And it shows me that both Lexi
- 14:30Speaker 2: and Justin cared, and Justin cared. Also about Susie. I
- 14:35Speaker 2: understand where his thought process is at. If Lexi and
- 14:40Speaker 2: Justin didn't have something deep, then he's saying, I would
- 14:43Speaker 2: much rather see Susie stick around out of the goodness
- 14:46Speaker 2: of my heart. I don't know if it was his
- 14:48Speaker 2: sword to fall on. I don't think it was. I
- 14:49Speaker 2: think that relationship's over, he doesn't need to do that,
- 14:54Speaker 2: but there was something inside of him that wanted to
- 14:56Speaker 2: see her stick around. I'm also glad that Jill Chin stuck.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I'm glad that she accepted the rose and she ended
- 15:02Speaker 2: up with the rose. I'm excited to see Jill stay
- 15:04Speaker 2: for a bit and see how that shakes out, because
- 15:06Speaker 2: she will be a great character, always is in Paradise
- 15:09Speaker 2: and always is one to watch and remember. A Lexi's
- 15:13Speaker 2: time because of this is shorter than I thought it
- 15:15Speaker 2: would be. Also, I thought she'd be a hot company
- 15:17Speaker 2: on the beach totally. I thought she would have a
- 15:19Speaker 2: lot of interest from a lot of people, and she
- 15:21Speaker 2: probably could have and would have if this didn't play
- 15:23Speaker 2: out the way it did. But now we lose Susie
- 15:26Speaker 2: and Alexi and Alie, Joe and Zoe on this episode.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Those are some some big names and if you look
- 15:35Speaker 2: at who's left, I think they were for the people
- 15:38Speaker 2: that could have carried it.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to go back to your interpretation of
- 15:54Speaker 3: Justin giving Susie the rose. I don't want to say that,
- 15:58Speaker 3: like if if Justin had a real connection with somebody
- 16:03Speaker 3: and somebody who was like showing positivity towards him for
- 16:06Speaker 3: the most part, I would be like, Justin, come on,
- 16:10Speaker 3: you can't give Seasy the rose, even though you're trying
- 16:13Speaker 3: to be like super nice to the girl that like
- 16:14Speaker 3: you obviously love, like you know, maybe not romantically anymore,
- 16:18Speaker 3: but you love her. But the fact that he didn't
- 16:23Speaker 3: and like, I just thought that Lexi made it so
- 16:26Speaker 3: clear that they weren't going anywhere that I was like, yeah,
- 16:29Speaker 3: I think that was the nice move. And I think
- 16:30Speaker 3: that he always intended to excuse himself from the show
- 16:34Speaker 3: when he gave her the rose, Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I would think, so, yeah, yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it wasn't. I don't think it was her denial
- 16:41Speaker 3: that made him say I'm going home, but maybe it
- 16:44Speaker 3: was who else.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I don't think we gotta
- 16:47Speaker 2: clear picture in that This episode I think will go
- 16:50Speaker 2: down as one that we lost some people that we
- 16:53Speaker 2: could have been really invested into and that kind of
- 16:56Speaker 2: would be very comfortable being in Paradise and kind of
- 17:00Speaker 2: letting their guard down and exploring these relationships. However, I
- 17:04Speaker 2: do want to say that Zoe, who is another big
- 17:07Speaker 2: name to go home that we haven't really talked about,
- 17:10Speaker 2: did the Zoe thing, which is what we have appreciated
- 17:13Speaker 2: her for, and also we're really excited to see her
- 17:15Speaker 2: in Paradise, for it might not be everybody's cup of tea.
- 17:19Speaker 2: But it's fun to watch. She is direct. She says
- 17:23Speaker 2: what she's thinking and what she feels, even if maybe
- 17:27Speaker 2: the other person doesn't see it the same way. Yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 2: those are the type of people I want around in Paradise.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I want her there to continue to do this to
- 17:36Speaker 2: every person that still stays open to other relationships. While
- 17:41Speaker 2: she is very committed to the person that she thinks
- 17:44Speaker 2: has committed to her. We see that this episode she
- 17:48Speaker 2: goes home because of it. I think another one where
- 17:51Speaker 2: I watched her go and I was like, there's so
- 17:52Speaker 2: much more we could have seen from Zoe. I don't
- 17:54Speaker 2: know if it looks a lot different than what we
- 17:55Speaker 2: saw already.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I don't know either.
- 17:58Speaker 2: But it was a loss for this show.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. I wonder what girls are going to
- 18:03Speaker 3: be brought in?
- 18:04Speaker 2: Well, right now we kind of have the group that
- 18:06Speaker 2: we knew were going to be there right now as
- 18:08Speaker 2: it stands, we had the information on some of the
- 18:11Speaker 2: people that we're going to be in Paradise, and we've
- 18:13Speaker 2: seen most of them. We've seen most of them come
- 18:17Speaker 2: in and go some of them, so we'll be interesting
- 18:21Speaker 2: to watch. The great thing about Paradise is for all
- 18:24Speaker 2: the drama that happened, and we've already mentioned those that
- 18:26Speaker 2: left you wake up the next morning it's day six
- 18:30Speaker 2: of Paradise and the women now have control. So the
- 18:33Speaker 2: whole dynamics which is back. It is one of the
- 18:38Speaker 2: most interesting aspects of Paradise to me is kind of
- 18:40Speaker 2: the not the gameplay, but the dynamics shifts that happen
- 18:45Speaker 2: week to week because don't get too confident and don't
- 18:49Speaker 2: get too cocky, because the next week, if you don't
- 18:52Speaker 2: have a committee relationship and you've kind of been playing
- 18:54Speaker 2: the field, well, you're on the hook to go home.
- 18:59Speaker 3: And that brings to Bailey and Jeremy's relationship. How I
- 19:04Speaker 3: was shocked. I again, like, was this all a production
- 19:08Speaker 3: move gone wrong? I'm not sure because I audibly gasped
- 19:12Speaker 3: when Jeremy gave Bailey the road and not Susie. I
- 19:18Speaker 3: thought he was taken by Susie. He seems like a
- 19:21Speaker 3: different person. I know that I often give Jeremy some flak.
- 19:25Speaker 3: He seemed like a gentleman with Susie, like he was
- 19:29Speaker 3: on his very best behavior. He kept saying that she
- 19:32Speaker 3: was the girl that he had put on her list,
- 19:34Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden, he picks Bailey, and
- 19:37Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, all right, So maybe I was reading
- 19:39Speaker 3: that wrong. Maybe he was pretty torn. And then this
- 19:43Speaker 3: bites him in the butt because Andrew Spencer charming, wonderful.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Andrew Spencer, another person that we love to see here
- 19:50Speaker 3: comes in, asks Bailey on a date, and then Bailey
- 19:54Speaker 3: had already said last night. What did she say? She
- 19:57Speaker 3: said basically like, I'm here for you. She said that
- 20:01Speaker 3: of course before Rose was given out. It made Jeremy
- 20:06Speaker 3: feel pretty secure. But when Andrew gives her the day card,
- 20:13Speaker 3: Jeremy is very, very pissed, so pissed that he asked
- 20:17Speaker 3: the producer to call Susie and I love this move.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I love a desperation move in the interview room where
- 20:26Speaker 3: you're like, can have your phone, because like I may
- 20:28Speaker 3: have done that before, and I thought that was going
- 20:32Speaker 3: to be our way to get Susie back. So I
- 20:34Speaker 3: feel like I was just as disappointed when Susie said
- 20:37Speaker 3: to Jeremy, I think you have to figure things out,
- 20:41Speaker 3: and she denied him.
- 20:42Speaker 2: It's rough for Jeremy right now. I will say, no
- 20:45Speaker 2: matter how this plays out, I don't think he's sitting
- 20:47Speaker 2: in a good position. Andrew Spencer showing up to the
- 20:50Speaker 2: beach is a great get for us as a viewer
- 20:56Speaker 2: because he does understand paradise. He is as charming and
- 21:02Speaker 2: funny in real life as he is on the beach.
- 21:05Speaker 2: His personality will shine there. I think out of so
- 21:09Speaker 2: many that have came and gone through the Bachelor franchise,
- 21:12Speaker 2: he's one of those that does confuse me on why
- 21:14Speaker 2: he is still single, because I do believe being around
- 21:18Speaker 2: him he wants to find that forever person. I obviously
- 21:22Speaker 2: don't know him well enough to dissect all the good
- 21:26Speaker 2: and bad, but he does seem like a catch to
- 21:29Speaker 2: me and one that a lot of people will be
- 21:31Speaker 2: interested in. And I'm guessing he was also somebody that
- 21:34Speaker 2: a lot of people were surprised to see show up
- 21:36Speaker 2: to the beach because it kind of felt like his
- 21:40Speaker 2: time on the beach had come and gone, and then
- 21:41Speaker 2: we took a year break and now he's back. Great
- 21:44Speaker 2: get for us. Not only is Andrew back, this is
- 21:49Speaker 2: also the moment that we reveal the Goldens that are
- 21:53Speaker 2: coming up to the beach. They're bringing their spunkiness, their feisiness,
- 21:57Speaker 2: their humor, their excitement, That's one of the things I
- 22:01Speaker 2: love about the Goldens. I think they're very grateful for
- 22:04Speaker 2: these opportunities, and as a result, it is displayed through
- 22:08Speaker 2: their enthusiasm, where sometimes cast members of The Bachelor and
- 22:13Speaker 2: Bachelorette can be a little more hesitant and nervous. Yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 2: more reserve, not ungrateful, just a little bit more.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Help back, just beat me out. Guys like they don't
- 22:22Speaker 3: give up.
- 22:24Speaker 2: No, they are going wild, especially April. Here's who shows
- 22:28Speaker 2: up to the beach April, Leslie, Kim, Ralph, Keith, Gordon.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Big win for me. I wanted to see more of Keith, Natasha,
- 22:37Speaker 2: Kathy Schwartz, who one of the best in the world.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Gotta find her husband. She's working so hard at that. Jack,
- 22:45Speaker 2: Charles King, Natasha and RJ.
- 22:49Speaker 3: So these guys legit. Maybe I die. I was so
- 22:53Speaker 3: hesitant about them coming into Paradise. They made it a
- 22:56Speaker 3: lot of fun. They made it start to feel like
- 22:59Speaker 3: old Paradise again.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I don't know whether they did edit it more slowly
- 23:04Speaker 3: once they came in, but like all that like slow
- 23:07Speaker 3: motion and clip clip clip clip clip, all the loud
- 23:10Speaker 3: music just seemed to like kind of go to the wayside.
- 23:13Speaker 3: And it was old fashioned paradise humor.
- 23:15Speaker 2: It's amazing. I agree with you. I felt like it
- 23:18Speaker 2: was a throwback to the old paradise. I felt like
- 23:20Speaker 2: it was like that warm hug that we all needed
- 23:22Speaker 2: watching this show to remind us that we are still
- 23:25Speaker 2: watching Bachelor in Paradise. The Golden showing up felt like
- 23:29Speaker 2: a comfort to me, like, hey, I understand this again.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I know this again. I do think it was slower paced.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I don't know if it's just because they move at
- 23:37Speaker 2: a slower pace or because it was edited to a
- 23:40Speaker 2: slower pace.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Oh no, I was like, oh, this is fun. I'm
- 23:44Speaker 3: smiling now.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so the Goldens are there.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Yeah, nothing really happens with the Goldens besides them being
- 23:50Speaker 3: just like background humor for a while and enjoying every moment.
- 23:55Speaker 3: We kind of go back to the young ends when
- 23:58Speaker 3: we see Andrew and Bailey go on their day. They
- 24:00Speaker 3: like bathe in coffee or something.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It's a big one for the coffee world, the greatest.
- 24:05Speaker 2: If you're somebody that watched that and said I need
- 24:07Speaker 2: to bathe in coffee, please try to bathe in generous coffee.
- 24:10Speaker 2: It is has no pesticides, no chemicals, It is. It's
- 24:16Speaker 2: just you know, highly highly graded. It's especially grade coffee.
- 24:20Speaker 2: It's so good for your skin if you want to
- 24:22Speaker 2: bathe in it, I recommend ordering one hundred pounds.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Oh, it's a fun I definitely listen to Ben and
- 24:30Speaker 3: you can also buy it through Audrey's Coffee House in lounge.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Yes even better zoom. Yeah. So during this date, we
- 24:37Speaker 3: see one of those flashbacks or no, it's not a
- 24:39Speaker 3: flashbackcne and it's like a dreamed sequence where Jeremy is
- 24:42Speaker 3: imagining what's going on with Bailey and Andrew on their date.
- 24:46Speaker 3: What people seem to really really hate this last week?
- 24:51Speaker 3: What'd you think about this? I don't mind them. They're
- 24:54Speaker 3: not the best, they're not the worst. They're fine.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I could go without it. I don't think it brings
- 24:58Speaker 2: anything to me, Like I'm sure it took a lot
- 25:01Speaker 2: of time in creativity and it does keep some junior
- 25:04Speaker 2: producer up at night, you know, thinking about it. I
- 25:08Speaker 2: don't really enjoy them in a way to me, Ashley,
- 25:15Speaker 2: it kind of like I think viewers for so long
- 25:19Speaker 2: have held on to this idea that The Bachelor is
- 25:22Speaker 2: a real experiment in dating and relationships. They have walked
- 25:30Speaker 2: at times a fine line going, this is way too
- 25:33Speaker 2: edited for me to watch, and some of those people
- 25:36Speaker 2: that they brought back into the show to watch this
- 25:39Speaker 2: show specifically over the summer, we'll see this and they go,
- 25:43Speaker 2: this is too corny, this is too much, This is
- 25:47Speaker 2: just too different for me. I want to see real
- 25:50Speaker 2: life play out on TV. So I don't think it's
- 25:53Speaker 2: a benefit to the show. I think it's one that
- 25:55Speaker 2: we won't see in the future.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Yeah, well, apparently there were no dream sequis. Isn't up
- 26:00Speaker 3: so too? You and I have been getting our screeners
- 26:03Speaker 3: later than usual, which indicates to me maybe I'm just
- 26:07Speaker 3: coming up with drama that they might be editing late
- 26:11Speaker 3: last minute.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It makes sense, you know, it's kind of a quick
- 26:14Speaker 2: turnaround no matter what. Yeah, so the dream sequences could
- 26:19Speaker 2: go without it, but we do see this Bailey and
- 26:21Speaker 2: Andrew day. I think Andrew's probably a great person to
- 26:25Speaker 2: be on a date. I just think he's probably fun, easy,
- 26:29Speaker 2: kind of brings down any anxiety's had. I see the
- 26:32Speaker 2: Bailey potential there at this moment. While I'm watching this Day,
- 26:38Speaker 2: I'm seeing and I'm like, I think this could work.
- 26:41Speaker 2: But obviously we still have the element of Bailey and
- 26:43Speaker 2: Jeremy happening, which kicks off really our morning of day
- 26:48Speaker 2: seven of Paradise. We see Bailey and Jeremy talking, or
- 26:54Speaker 2: at least Bailey feeling some sort of uneasiness about going
- 26:58Speaker 2: on the date with Andrew, because I do think she
- 26:59Speaker 2: does care about Jeremy.
- 27:01Speaker 3: And I think she came home still liking Jeremy Moore.
- 27:05Speaker 3: He now has this predicament on whether or not he
- 27:09Speaker 3: tells Bailey, hey, I freaked out so hard when you
- 27:13Speaker 3: left that I decided to call Susie and call her back,
- 27:19Speaker 3: because that's something that could come and affect them later.
- 27:21Speaker 3: I think he needs say it out.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I don't think so. It's no, you're still so early on.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It didn't work out. She's not coming back. And he
- 27:31Speaker 2: has a really easy excuse, which is, hey, you want
- 27:34Speaker 2: to think another dude, and I decided to call another girl?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Okay, sorry, yeah, yeah, all right. Well then meanwhile, Andrew
- 27:43Speaker 3: and Alex, So if Andrew and Bailey aren't happening, Andrew
- 27:46Speaker 3: and Alex are something that could possibly be happening. But
- 27:51Speaker 3: right now Alex is with Jonathan not really no guy.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Well you know that's their pairing currently.
- 27:57Speaker 2: She pretty much said as she was there that in
- 28:02Speaker 2: a nicer way, like Jonathan's giving her the ick.
- 28:05Speaker 3: You're probably you're actually so right, she says, I hate
- 28:09Speaker 3: the way with the way that you're like putting your
- 28:11Speaker 3: hand on your chin.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I feel very uncomfortable right now.
- 28:15Speaker 3: That is she was picked out. However, she doesn't know.
- 28:20Speaker 3: She wants to give Andrew a chance because she feels
- 28:22Speaker 3: kind of burned by the fact that he took Bailey
- 28:23Speaker 3: on the day instead of her. She gets over it
- 28:26Speaker 3: quite quickly. She does feel bad about breaking up breaking
- 28:30Speaker 3: up quo quote with Jonathan, and I like it when
- 28:34Speaker 3: people have to break up in Paradise and they feel
- 28:37Speaker 3: emotional about it. I mean, I don't like being the
- 28:39Speaker 3: subject of the breakup, but you know, it's always nice
- 28:43Speaker 3: to see somebody like, Oh, I hate breaking up. It's
- 28:45Speaker 3: like an emotional thing. I feel so bad. And it's
- 28:49Speaker 3: interesting that Jonathan is like the single guy here now,
- 28:52Speaker 3: because I don't know. I think Jonathan's real cute, but
- 28:56Speaker 3: I also think he's very fev hungry.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Well, but I also think John kind of has that
- 29:01Speaker 2: like he I think in his life will fall into
- 29:05Speaker 2: the friend zone quickly because he is like very charismatic,
- 29:11Speaker 2: and he's very friendly, and I think girls will quickly
- 29:16Speaker 2: either like be really into that or be like, hey,
- 29:18Speaker 2: you're my best buddy. Yeah, let's go walk the beach
- 29:21Speaker 2: and talk about all the other boys that are here.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I don't know, not shocked by this move. I do
- 29:28Speaker 2: think Alex and Andrew, you know, do have potential. Alex.
- 29:33Speaker 2: The reason I started this saying this is the horniest
- 29:36Speaker 2: episode ever is because Jonathan says the Goldens are just
- 29:40Speaker 2: ready to go, and Alex also says she's ready to go,
- 29:44Speaker 2: which feels like a reference that we've never really heard
- 29:46Speaker 2: on this show before. It feels like you said, it
- 29:48Speaker 2: is uncovering a whole new language and pathway for us
- 29:53Speaker 2: to pursue. It's not like this has never been talked about.
- 29:57Speaker 2: We've had the boom boom room for years.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Boom boom is like supposed to be the cute way
- 30:03Speaker 3: of saying it, though.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well we're skipping that and we're cute.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Well, it's definitely a Love Island thing or you know
- 30:09Speaker 3: whatever the name the competition X on the Beach, what's
- 30:13Speaker 3: the other show about? Too Hot to Handle? It's just
- 30:17Speaker 3: like they're a little references and making it a little
- 30:19Speaker 3: bit dirtier, a little bit more risky, But I will
- 30:22Speaker 3: say the kiss between Andrew and Alex and just their
- 30:25Speaker 3: cutes conversation in the pool made me feel like, yes,
- 30:27Speaker 3: I want to root for this couple. It was another
- 30:29Speaker 3: one of those moments where I was like, I feel
- 30:32Speaker 3: like very interested in seeing where this goes. This is
- 30:35Speaker 3: a good old fashioned Paradise moment, minus the horny.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Ashley. As we kind of wrap things up here, we
- 30:50Speaker 2: do have another guest that arrives that pulls in a
- 30:53Speaker 2: big moment for the show. We have the Jack in
- 30:56Speaker 2: April makeout. That's a wild thing to see. Jack says,
- 31:03Speaker 2: there was tongue. That's exciting. I think April is gonna
- 31:07Speaker 2: have a blast in Paradise. I have no doubt that
- 31:09Speaker 2: she in the next few episodes is gonna be one
- 31:11Speaker 2: to watch.
- 31:13Speaker 3: April so funny from the fact that she has this
- 31:15Speaker 3: connection with Kat and they're sharing a room hilarious. But
- 31:20Speaker 3: my favorite moment from April and the entire episode was
- 31:23Speaker 3: when she told Jonathan, you know where my room is
- 31:28Speaker 3: if you ever need me for some reason. I was like, yes,
- 31:34Speaker 3: and he actually seemed like a little bit weirded out.
- 31:37Speaker 3: I don't know if he was told like bring it
- 31:38Speaker 3: up as if it was strange to your friends, but
- 31:41Speaker 3: like I was like, yes, this is what we wanted
- 31:45Speaker 3: to see. Slight induendo between the two, but nothing like
- 31:49Speaker 3: for real, for real, except for what do you think?
- 31:53Speaker 3: Do you think that he's gonna try to get his
- 31:55Speaker 3: rose from April? I think he is. And guess what,
- 31:58Speaker 3: I think he's gonna get the rose from her. He
- 32:03Speaker 3: is hungry for a rose.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think he sees his opportunity and he says,
- 32:08Speaker 2: I'm all over this. I just didn't think this had
- 32:13Speaker 2: happened so quickly. I don't even have like comments for
- 32:15Speaker 2: this more than like I'll be watching, I'll be intrigued.
- 32:22Speaker 2: I do think something happens.
- 32:24Speaker 3: But then we also see Dale taking that shot off
- 32:26Speaker 3: her belly. That's gonna be during one of the games.
- 32:28Speaker 3: You know that's gonna be one of the challenge.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Sure, but I've zero doubt that April is going to
- 32:32Speaker 2: be a large part of this show. She's made for Paradise. Yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 2: and I think she's gonna drive some of the other
- 32:38Speaker 2: Golden's crazy and she's going to be like whoever, whoever
- 32:44Speaker 2: is ready, Whoever's open. I'm here, and I will make
- 32:47Speaker 2: sure everybody here has a good time. And I think
- 32:49Speaker 2: those are the funniest and best people to have in Paradise.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Some people that we can think of like thrived in
- 32:55Speaker 2: Paradise because they just had a good time all the time.
- 32:59Speaker 2: And I think that's gonna be April Sean shows up
- 33:03Speaker 2: to the beach. He is our final entry during this episode. Sean,
- 33:09Speaker 2: you know what, I've met him. He's a really nice dude.
- 33:12Speaker 2: He is a like, very like kin looking fella.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I know that's what we can't take him seriously because
- 33:18Speaker 3: he does look fake, I.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Know, and I think that goes against him.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I feel bad. It's like, obviously he's attractive, but there's
- 33:26Speaker 3: something so polished about him that makes you like kind
- 33:29Speaker 3: of laugh.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I think, like Jill said it best, Sean looks like
- 33:35Speaker 2: a big yacht guy and she's more of a dingy girl.
- 33:38Speaker 2: He looks like that. I don't think he is that.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I do think he, you know, kind of gives off
- 33:45Speaker 2: that look in the vibe of like I'm really well
- 33:47Speaker 2: put together. I could walk into any room and look
- 33:50Speaker 2: like like I showered five minutes ago, and you know,
- 33:54Speaker 2: did my hair just right?
- 33:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but I.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Think he's a lot cooler than that, and I think
- 33:58Speaker 2: you see that during this date with Sean and Jill.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I think you see him being funny, breaking down, being
- 34:06Speaker 2: kind of like your normal humor, and Jill is obviously
- 34:10Speaker 2: wanted to bring that out in him. She's hilarious. So
- 34:14Speaker 2: for me, I was excited that he chose Jill. I think,
- 34:18Speaker 2: out of anybody on the beach, just from a potential
- 34:23Speaker 2: that she would give him a chance, even she was
- 34:27Speaker 2: the best choice.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, they actually seem to have a genuinely good time.
- 34:32Speaker 3: And then we have to discuss Jill and Jonathan's conversation
- 34:35Speaker 3: because once he realizes that she's probably gonna be he's
- 34:39Speaker 3: only shot at a rose, he comes back to her
- 34:41Speaker 3: and it's just like it's a confusing time because it
- 34:44Speaker 3: seems like it's a conversation, an argument over like one
- 34:47Speaker 3: line where he said something along I know that during
- 34:50Speaker 3: the first episode, like last Monday night, he said something
- 34:54Speaker 3: like we're going on this date, but like, I think
- 34:57Speaker 3: it's just going to be friendly, and I told Alex
- 34:59Speaker 3: that and I was like blow and then he kind
- 35:03Speaker 3: of said something similar to well, then he complicate, he
- 35:08Speaker 3: confused Jill by saying, you know, maybe you're making this
- 35:14Speaker 3: a hard decision for me. So that led Jill to
- 35:18Speaker 3: believe that maybe the two of them had more of
- 35:22Speaker 3: a something than she thought. So then when he addresses
- 35:26Speaker 3: this with her, it's just like a whole bunch of
- 35:30Speaker 3: I don't understand what you're saying. Well, I don't understand
- 35:32Speaker 3: what you're saying, and I wish that you could like
- 35:34Speaker 3: understand where I'm coming from, But I don't understand where
- 35:36Speaker 3: you're coming from. When you're not making any sense and
- 35:38Speaker 3: you're like, hey, guys, guess what. You don't like each other.
- 35:43Speaker 3: This isn't gonna happen. So Jonathan gotta move on. Stop
- 35:49Speaker 3: trying to convince her because the only reason you're even
- 35:53Speaker 3: having this debate is because you want her rose. And
- 35:56Speaker 3: I know Jill, she's not gonna give you the rose.
- 36:01Speaker 2: No, he April. That's his path forward. We kind of
- 36:06Speaker 2: close out this episode with a date sponsored by I
- 36:10Speaker 2: Know What You Did Last Summer, which is a movie. Uh,
- 36:14Speaker 2: this was a huge part of the episode. I Don't
- 36:16Speaker 2: Know What I Know You Did Last Summer? Paid for
- 36:18Speaker 2: this spot? Oh, huge, definitely a big It might it
- 36:23Speaker 2: might be where the five hundred thousand dollars cash prize
- 36:26Speaker 2: is coming in at the end of this, which, by
- 36:28Speaker 2: the way, from the polling that we did at Almost Famous,
- 36:32Speaker 2: a majority of you do not like the idea of.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Fani from that is actually so accurate. I'm not shocked
- 36:41Speaker 3: if it was no, that would make so much sense, Like,
- 36:43Speaker 3: let's just do this ad and then they'll give us
- 36:46Speaker 3: the money for the prize.
- 36:49Speaker 2: I mean it was in their contracts, but I know
- 36:50Speaker 2: you did last summer does their does the date. It's
- 36:55Speaker 2: a big group exercise. It's a funny game. It does
- 37:02Speaker 2: lead to some I think intriguing conversations, especially you know
- 37:06Speaker 2: between like the Kathy and the Keys of the World.
- 37:09Speaker 2: But the game is this, I'll just explain it kind
- 37:15Speaker 2: of how I understand it. Each testine wrote down a
- 37:20Speaker 2: secret and put it in a lock chess. Jesse then
- 37:24Speaker 2: reads these secrets out loud. The contestants vote on which
- 37:27Speaker 2: secret is the most shocking. The owner of the secret
- 37:30Speaker 2: can reveal themselves or remain anonymous, but Jesse says that
- 37:34Speaker 2: is unlikely once they find out what is at stake,
- 37:38Speaker 2: the majority vote will determine which secret is most shocking.
- 37:41Speaker 2: So we have all these people write down their secrets
- 37:47Speaker 2: and then what was at stake.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Actually, well, they didn't say it until afterward. So he
- 37:54Speaker 3: was just like, it's a prize that's going to make
- 37:56Speaker 3: you feel very good. It's going to be advantageous for
- 38:00Speaker 3: you in this experience. Advantageous, That's what he said. And
- 38:05Speaker 3: so it ends up being a VIP room, which I'm
- 38:08Speaker 3: not sure if it was a VIP room to stay
- 38:10Speaker 3: in throughout their entire experience or it was just for
- 38:13Speaker 3: the night. Kathy ends up winning it because Kathy's secret
- 38:18Speaker 3: was that she slept in she slept with someone else
- 38:24Speaker 3: in her house while her partner was in another room. Now,
- 38:29Speaker 3: our producer and I were kind of like coming up
- 38:32Speaker 3: with reasons where that could be true but actually not
- 38:36Speaker 3: true at the same time, like not as selacious as
- 38:39Speaker 3: she may have made it. One theory, my theory, which
- 38:44Speaker 3: was also Kat's theory, was like she just innocently slept
- 38:49Speaker 3: in a bed with somebody else while her maybe late
- 38:54Speaker 3: husband was in the house. Another option that our producer
- 38:59Speaker 3: came up with is that her husband is cremated and
- 39:02Speaker 3: he is in an urn somewhere in the house and
- 39:05Speaker 3: she was sleeping with somebody else. Ben what do you
- 39:08Speaker 3: think do you think she genuinely cheated on a partner?
- 39:11Speaker 1: No?
- 39:11Speaker 3: Well in that now, no.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Shot, I know. I mean knowing Kathy, she's as loyal
- 39:16Speaker 2: as they come. She is also smart, and so she
- 39:20Speaker 2: was like, how can I twist something to sound like
- 39:23Speaker 2: something else? And then once I elaborate on it, everyths
- 39:26Speaker 2: gonna be like, oh that wasn't that sedacious? That was good?
- 39:30Speaker 3: Now? What about the two other things? The secrets that
- 39:32Speaker 3: stood out to me? One, I thought it was very
- 39:35Speaker 3: juicy that somebody it turns out to be Keith changed
- 39:39Speaker 3: the name on a test. Yeah, college, high school, whatever,
- 39:42Speaker 3: It was a long time ago. But you submit your test,
- 39:45Speaker 3: then you take out somebody's name a racer and put
- 39:48Speaker 3: your own. That is really intense to me.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Really, yes, you must have never cheated in school.
- 39:54Speaker 3: I guess I didn't. You know, maybe you look over
- 39:57Speaker 3: just to like double check to make sure you both
- 39:59Speaker 3: have B circles. But yeah, no, Ben's like, I've done
- 40:04Speaker 3: worse than the name change. Okay. So then there was
- 40:08Speaker 3: also the five hundred thousand dollars secret, which they alluded
- 40:14Speaker 3: to being Aprils said that I found five hundred thousand
- 40:19Speaker 3: dollars and I kept it. Was that a production that
- 40:24Speaker 3: was at like a little car that was started in
- 40:25Speaker 3: their right to production?
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I've also found five hundred thousand dollars and
- 40:32Speaker 2: turned it in.
- 40:33Speaker 3: So.
- 40:35Speaker 2: No secrets on my plate.
- 40:37Speaker 3: We found five hundred thousand dollars, is right, was sitting somewhere.
- 40:40Speaker 2: No, the cocaine deal that I found in Southeach.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of similar. Yeah, yeah, see who knows
- 40:45Speaker 3: how much that was costing.
- 40:47Speaker 2: It's a funny game. This is a fun game. I
- 40:48Speaker 2: think one of the best parts of this is it
- 40:51Speaker 2: ends up with Kathy and Keith in the VIP suite.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:55Speaker 2: I personally, I think there's sparks here.
- 40:59Speaker 3: They have fun together, that's for sure.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I like it. I want to see it continue. I
- 41:06Speaker 2: hope it does.
- 41:08Speaker 3: My thought is that seeing these two on a date,
- 41:14Speaker 3: in comparing it to like the flirting of the twenties
- 41:17Speaker 3: and thirties, something's downstairs. It's like they again don't give
- 41:22Speaker 3: a fuck and they're just blabb into each other. There's
- 41:25Speaker 3: no like, oh, I'm just gonna like say this and
- 41:27Speaker 3: I bat my eyes and like, you know, really try
- 41:29Speaker 3: to like seduce you in this moment and be really cool. No,
- 41:32Speaker 3: it's just like we're just talking to each other.
- 41:33Speaker 2: We're just talking a lot about you want to make out,
- 41:37Speaker 2: Let's make out. Yeah, excellent.
- 41:40Speaker 3: It is a really fun watch.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a fun watch. I'm glad they did it.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I'm glad they were there. There's a great part of
- 41:46Speaker 2: the episode actually before we close up here the current
- 41:51Speaker 2: couples that exist in Paradise as we speak, and I'm
- 41:55Speaker 2: talking couples, not like fringe couples. We obviously don't have
- 41:59Speaker 2: roseta into this episode. And so who do you who
- 42:02Speaker 2: would you, in your mind say is a couple moving
- 42:05Speaker 2: into the next week.
- 42:06Speaker 3: So Spencer and Jess and they are getting the always
- 42:09Speaker 3: unfortunate treatment that Paradise gives their strongest couples, which is
- 42:13Speaker 3: no air time. So we don't really know how great
- 42:17Speaker 3: they're getting along, because they're getting along so well that
- 42:20Speaker 3: we're not seeing them. Is that it Wait, that's a couple.
- 42:26Speaker 3: And then we're assuming that Bailey and Jeremy are pretty
- 42:29Speaker 3: much a couple. And then we Cat and Dale definitely
- 42:33Speaker 3: a couple. I can't wait to see the drama unfold
- 42:37Speaker 3: between that, because Dale goes you're reminding me of my
- 42:40Speaker 3: ex right now, and you know, and he's saying that
- 42:43Speaker 3: he's referring to Claire. Let's see who else am I missing?
- 42:48Speaker 3: As far as couples go.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Would you put Andrew Spencer in there with Alex?
- 42:56Speaker 3: They're definitely strong, they're definitely giving each other roses.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Oh, and then what's his name? Brian and Parisa?
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so there you go. And the Goldens, I mean,
- 43:07Speaker 2: they'll we don't really have too much.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I don't have much in my head there, Okay.
- 43:13Speaker 2: The preview for the next episode is this. The Goldens
- 43:16Speaker 2: are doing body shots off of each other. We get
- 43:19Speaker 2: another woman to arrive to the beach. We see more
- 43:24Speaker 2: kissing from April and Jack. Jesse announces that three people
- 43:28Speaker 2: will be going home. It's a big amount for this group.
- 43:31Speaker 2: I'm assuming that also includes the Goldens, so maybe not
- 43:34Speaker 2: as big as I thought it would be. April tells
- 43:37Speaker 2: Jonathan if I was them, I'd be jumping your bones.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Cat and Dale have a heated conversation. Kat then says,
- 43:45Speaker 2: don't interrupt me, which is just legendary. Cat. We've seen
- 43:50Speaker 2: this last time we saw her on the beach. We're
- 43:52Speaker 2: gonna see it again. I love to see it. He
- 43:56Speaker 2: does refer to her as reminding him of his X,
- 44:01Speaker 2: and everyone at the rose ceremony is looking shocked for
- 44:07Speaker 2: some reason. So it's going to be another great episode.
- 44:12Speaker 2: We're going to be here breaking it down right here
- 44:14Speaker 2: on them listening to this podcast. We hope you enjoyed it.
- 44:16Speaker 2: No polls this week, no questions for you all. I
- 44:19Speaker 2: guess the biggest question would be, are you enjoying it?
- 44:22Speaker 2: Are you finding yourself getting used to it and getting
- 44:24Speaker 2: in to this season, or are you finding yourself pulling away?
- 44:28Speaker 2: That's the big question. I think that would be most
- 44:31Speaker 2: intriguing for us. We've already kind of got the answers
- 44:35Speaker 2: to how some of these editing issues have gone, and
- 44:38Speaker 2: it does feel like the show is pulling out of
- 44:40Speaker 2: the dream sequences and entering more into the reality that
- 44:44Speaker 2: is happening on the beaches of Paradise. So until next time,
- 44:48Speaker 2: I've been Ben.
- 44:49Speaker 3: I've been Ashley Bete. Guys.
