- 0:02Speaker 1: On Scorn Loves Australia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Weader Paney Show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the readA panicky show coming
- 0:11Speaker 3: up tonight.
- 0:11Speaker 4: A man convicted of a.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Double murder wants to be housed in a woman's prison
- 0:16Speaker 3: in New South Wales.
- 0:17Speaker 4: The panel will be here to discuss that and much more.
- 0:21Speaker 4: A hospital worker in Melbourne stood.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Down after her role in a chaotic protest that an
- 0:26Speaker 3: Israeli restaurant was revealed.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Carli Douglas will join me shortly. The Great Josh Hammer
- 0:32Speaker 4: will have.
- 0:32Speaker 3: The latest from the US, and later in the hour,
- 0:35Speaker 3: Corey DeAngelis on the role teachers unions play in indoctrinating
- 0:40Speaker 3: children and Left He's Losing It features the president of
- 0:44Speaker 3: the biggest teachers union in America.
- 0:47Speaker 4: This calm and considered Lady Nay, God not rise.
- 0:51Speaker 5: Up, Pennia, Oh God, Oh God, go let go.
- 0:58Speaker 3: But first, a double murderer who is serving a forty
- 1:02Speaker 3: three year sentence has begun identifying as female.
- 1:06Speaker 4: And wants to be transferred to a woman's prison. Naturally.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Terry Mark Donnay was convicted of the brutal murders of
- 1:14Speaker 3: Bill and Pamela Weightman, but Terry now calls himself mackenzie
- 1:20Speaker 3: and has they then pronouns which, for some reason the
- 1:24Speaker 3: Daily Telegraph chose to obediently respect today, mangling the English
- 1:29Speaker 3: language in the process, and an otherwise excellent report. Let's
- 1:33Speaker 3: bring in Sky News contributors Tina McQueen and Peru McSween. Tina,
- 1:38Speaker 3: the Min's government has come out strong against this. It's
- 1:42Speaker 3: very unwoke of them, I've got to say. Acting New
- 1:44Speaker 3: South Wales Premier Ryan Park told The Daily Telegraph the
- 1:48Speaker 3: proposed transfer won't be happening. He said, this individual is
- 1:53Speaker 3: convicted of murdering a woman. I don't find it at
- 1:56Speaker 3: acceptable and I don't think the community would find it
- 1:59Speaker 3: at acceptable. It won't be happening. What do you make
- 2:03Speaker 3: of that? Is that fair enough? Because the state does
- 2:07Speaker 3: not have fairly so called progressive laws where you can
- 2:11Speaker 3: identify as another gender, you can change your documentation to
- 2:16Speaker 3: reflect that.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Even I bet they're regretting those change of laws now. Reader,
- 2:21Speaker 1: this is a strong statement, and you know, I'm really
- 2:25Speaker 1: pleased to see the men's government is making some sensible decisions.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I mean, this is mad that there's no way in
- 2:30Speaker 1: hell this guy should be allowed anywhere near a female
- 2:34Speaker 1: prison and the community is not going to copy it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: No one's going to copy it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: It's just reached a point where it's insanity and good
- 2:41Speaker 1: on the men's government, and let's hope they stick to it,
- 2:44Speaker 1: because they can ham it if they don't.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Reader prove there are around fifty inmates inside New South
- 2:51Speaker 3: Wales's prisons who identify as transgender. So I don't think
- 2:55Speaker 3: this issue is going away anywhere. I can tell you
- 2:58Speaker 3: right here in Melbourne, in our biggest female prison, we
- 3:01Speaker 3: do have a male who identifies as female, who is
- 3:05Speaker 3: a sexual predator hows with women, and those women, many
- 3:09Speaker 3: of them are terrified. They've signed petitions to have him removed,
- 3:13Speaker 3: and no one in this state is listening to them.
- 3:16Speaker 3: So at least things are a little bit different in
- 3:18Speaker 3: New South Wales at the moment.
- 3:19Speaker 6: Proof well, yes, good on Chris Min's government. But isn't
- 3:23Speaker 6: his government, like all the labor governments, unable to define
- 3:27Speaker 6: what a woman is So there's a bit of a
- 3:30Speaker 6: conflict there. I have to say, this bloke who claims
- 3:35Speaker 6: to have transitioned or wants to transition, is a proven liar.
- 3:39Speaker 7: He murdered these people.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Friends of parents of a friend of his by suffocating them.
- 3:46Speaker 6: He then lied and said that they were in a
- 3:48Speaker 6: car accident. So he's a proven liar. He's calculating, and
- 3:53Speaker 6: he's decided that he's going to take an opportunity to
- 3:57Speaker 6: get be exposed. And you know, and I guess women
- 4:01Speaker 6: in a women's prison if he's given this nod. So
- 4:04Speaker 6: let's hope that what the men's government is saying is
- 4:07Speaker 6: true and they do not accommodate him.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Reader, I hope all those guys in Victoria that you
- 4:13Speaker 1: know are in a female prison. I hope they've had
- 4:15Speaker 1: all their male bits chopped off, because that should be
- 4:18Speaker 1: a prerequisite for any of these feels trying to stay
- 4:20Speaker 1: in a women's prison when they're males.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Well, I can tell you the case I was referencing.
- 4:27Speaker 3: They haven't had their bits chopped off, to use that expression.
- 4:31Speaker 3: They're intact and in a women's prison. So it's just
- 4:36Speaker 3: pure madness. But this state is lost, and you don't
- 4:41Speaker 3: want to be following in our footsteps.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I can say that much.
- 4:44Speaker 8: Now.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Donald Trump has threatened to hit Australia with tariffs of
- 4:48Speaker 3: two hundred percent on pharmaceuticals, one of our biggest exports
- 4:52Speaker 3: to the US. Last year we exported more than two
- 4:54Speaker 3: billion dollars worth of pharmaceuticals. President Trump also announced plans
- 4:59Speaker 3: for a fifty peers and tariff on copper, again another
- 5:03Speaker 3: one of our major exports Tina. What is the Albanesi
- 5:07Speaker 3: government doing to secure and an advantageous still for the country.
- 5:12Speaker 1: They're doing nothing, And they shouldn't be shocked by this
- 5:14Speaker 1: because President Trump, in both his terms, is doing exactly
- 5:18Speaker 1: what he said he was going to do, and the
- 5:20Speaker 1: Albanesi government has had plenty of time to prepare to
- 5:23Speaker 1: try to try and get round this.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It's disgraceful that.
- 5:27Speaker 1: You know, they've made no attempt to speak to.
- 5:30Speaker 2: To meet with President Trump. He's too busy visiting China.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So I think it's all a little bit too late.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Like I said, that President Trump has no time for Rudd.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's a real mess. But like I said, the Australian
- 5:44Speaker 1: government should not be shocked by this, and they should
- 5:47Speaker 1: have been preparing all along for President Trump to introduce
- 5:50Speaker 1: these triumph tariffs and making a great relationship with him
- 5:53Speaker 1: to try and you know, keith them as low as possible,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and they haven't. It's absolutely it's disgraceful. So we're in
- 6:00Speaker 1: for a bit of a thump, I'd say, reader.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Well, pro we saw those letters go out from the
- 6:08Speaker 3: Trump administration. More than a dozen countries got their trade
- 6:13Speaker 3: arrangements organized. Australia isn't amongst them. We continue to be
- 6:19Speaker 3: an outlier and.
- 6:22Speaker 4: It's not a great situation.
- 6:24Speaker 3: We're talking about our biggest Ally, we should be having
- 6:28Speaker 3: the most advantageous still on the table, but it seems
- 6:32Speaker 3: like Kevin Right is a massive impediment to that happening.
- 6:36Speaker 3: We need to have an ambassador that the Trump administration
- 6:39Speaker 3: has some respect for and is willing to work with.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Well, it's a total liability, but of course the labor
- 6:46Speaker 6: mats take precedence over the national interest and so he's
- 6:52Speaker 6: going to stand by him. And meanwhile, we all suck
- 6:55Speaker 6: eggs and suffer when you look at the hypocrisy of
- 6:59Speaker 6: this government, and you know they did this big fans
- 7:02Speaker 6: fare about, you know, the Maid in Australia, the Future
- 7:05Speaker 6: Made in Australia campaign. Where is the manufacturing? Why are
- 7:09Speaker 6: we having to rely on you know, the other export markets.
- 7:14Speaker 6: We don't make enough here. We're closing down manufacturing because
- 7:18Speaker 6: of the absurdity of our energy policies and ir policies.
- 7:23Speaker 7: So we are reliant on these exports.
- 7:25Speaker 6: It's two billion a year for just the pharmaceutical stuff.
- 7:29Speaker 7: But we've never made any.
- 7:31Speaker 6: Case to save that industry.
- 7:34Speaker 7: So what can you do.
- 7:35Speaker 6: We've just got to suck it up because we've got
- 7:38Speaker 6: an inept government.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Now let's go to Queensland.
- 7:43Speaker 3: A major music festival called Earth Frequency Festival has been
- 7:48Speaker 3: forced to defend itself from claims of racism. It's propalacedin
- 7:52Speaker 3: and organizers are making musical acts sign an ethics pledge.
- 7:57Speaker 3: It's led to one act, a duo from Israel, pulling
- 8:00Speaker 3: out of the festival.
- 8:03Speaker 4: This so called.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Ethics pledge includes things like acknowledging Israel's genocide in Gaza
- 8:10Speaker 3: and rejecting racism, apartheid and genocide. But it's the ethics
- 8:18Speaker 3: of the organizers and their definition of those terms.
- 8:22Speaker 6: Well, the ethics of the organizations. Are organizers who are
- 8:25Speaker 6: of course associated with Palestinian organizations.
- 8:30Speaker 7: This is what's happening in this country.
- 8:33Speaker 6: It's quite insidious where you know, you have Anthony Albanizi
- 8:37Speaker 6: saying we're going to we won't stand for anti semitism.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Yet he is and it's in bigling itself through every
- 8:46Speaker 6: aspect of our lives, and we're doing nothing and have
- 8:50Speaker 6: done nothing. He appointed a woman, a Jewish woman, to
- 8:55Speaker 6: be an advisor. He's only just now getting around to
- 8:59Speaker 6: adopting some of her recommendations. You know, they turn a
- 9:02Speaker 6: blind eye because we know where their sympathies lie.
- 9:06Speaker 7: They're anti Israel and this is the.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Problem and so it's insidious, it's scary, and it's not
- 9:13Speaker 6: going away fast because we have governments that are not
- 9:17Speaker 6: turning a blind eye to it for political reasons.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Well, we saw some.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Well we saw some really ugly scenes in Glastonbury which.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Been shocked by how quickly.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Those chants from Glastonbury have spread because we keep hearing
- 9:33Speaker 3: these death to idf chants now here in Australia. And
- 9:38Speaker 3: really it began with that idiot rap duo chanting that
- 9:43Speaker 3: on stage Tina. In this case, the festival has, after
- 9:47Speaker 3: a considerable backlash, softened its position. They've revised the policy
- 9:53Speaker 3: and they're saying they're going to be banning political flags
- 9:57Speaker 3: and protests at this October events. When we see this
- 10:02Speaker 3: over and over again with the artistic community. They're not
- 10:05Speaker 3: standing with members of the Jewish community. They're very clear
- 10:09Speaker 3: in where their loyalties lie.
- 10:12Speaker 2: That's right read.
- 10:12Speaker 1: And it was so bad in Glatsbury that the BBC
- 10:16Speaker 1: had to apologize for even showing the clip. That's how
- 10:20Speaker 1: shocking it was against the Jurish.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Community over there, and I'd hate.
- 10:24Speaker 2: To see that repeated here.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Look, it's all right to say they're going to pull
- 10:27Speaker 1: back and revise.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I don't believe a word of it.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I think they're just you know, saying what needs to
- 10:33Speaker 1: be said for the festival to go ahead.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Then they'll do as they like.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Now let's go back to the US.
- 10:40Speaker 3: A new book called twenty twenty four, How Trump Retook
- 10:44Speaker 3: the White House and the Democrats Lost America details.
- 10:49Speaker 4: The influential role Jill.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Biden played in her husband's administration.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Tina.
- 10:55Speaker 3: This influence only increased as the president's cognitive decline became
- 11:01Speaker 3: more and more pronounced. Tina, I do wonder did we
- 11:05Speaker 3: already have a female president?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Look, doctor Jill, I think fully took the reins, and sadly,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I think the more he declined, the more power herself
- 11:15Speaker 1: and her chief of staff Baranoff.
- 11:18Speaker 2: God, you know, they covered up everything.
- 11:20Speaker 1: This book is an absolute bombshell and totally says how
- 11:25Speaker 1: Jill and her doctor, Jill and her chief of staff
- 11:27Speaker 1: pretty much ran everything. And the chief of staff now
- 11:30Speaker 1: who has been called to a coup of inquiries and
- 11:32Speaker 1: the White House refused.
- 11:34Speaker 2: To go, has a lot to answer for.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I think Trump is going to really really drill deep
- 11:38Speaker 1: on this. But of course doctor Jill and her chief
- 11:42Speaker 1: of staff are in a protective species, and he's now
- 11:45Speaker 1: the chief of staff is now heading up.
- 11:47Speaker 2: The President Biden Library. But I think the full.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Truth it's coming out now, and we all knew, I mean, we.
- 11:53Speaker 1: All witnessed it, and it's disgraceful how everything was covered up.
- 11:59Speaker 3: It was a wonder Tina, whether we'll ever know who
- 12:04Speaker 3: really ran the show, not just for those last few months.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Proue.
- 12:08Speaker 3: The cognitive decline was obvious from the start. We were
- 12:12Speaker 3: covering it in the election campaign, in the twenty twenty
- 12:15Speaker 3: election campaign. Do you think we'll ever have any sort
- 12:18Speaker 3: of transparency on who made some of these big calls,
- 12:22Speaker 3: who decided, even in the final days, was going to
- 12:26Speaker 3: be on the pardon.
- 12:27Speaker 4: List, the presidential pardon list.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Well, there's been such a cover up, and when you
- 12:31Speaker 6: look at how Jill Biden attended Hunter's trials, even when
- 12:37Speaker 6: she had to travel, you know, overnight from international countries.
- 12:42Speaker 7: The influence was cancerous.
- 12:45Speaker 6: I also wonder how much Obama had a play in
- 12:49Speaker 6: it all as well. Although Jill seems to be such
- 12:52Speaker 6: a power hungry type and a controlling type. The fact
- 12:55Speaker 6: that she's a doctor too, you know, she knew what
- 12:58Speaker 6: was wrong with her husband.
- 13:00Speaker 2: How a real doctor, Well.
- 13:03Speaker 7: Whatever, she wanted.
- 13:06Speaker 4: A doctored education.
- 13:10Speaker 6: All right, Well, she needed to learn a few things
- 13:13Speaker 6: about democracy, and Whay was perhaps appointed and that you know,
- 13:18Speaker 6: it was totally undemocratic for the wife, the plus one
- 13:22Speaker 6: to be running the country.
- 13:23Speaker 7: If that's the case.
- 13:23Speaker 6: But you know, there was something so smelly about that
- 13:26Speaker 6: whole administration and the Democratic Party, and it's all coming
- 13:31Speaker 6: out and it needs to and you know, people throw
- 13:34Speaker 6: a lot of mud at Trump, but this is so
- 13:36Speaker 6: much worse.
- 13:37Speaker 1: The House committees are not giving up. There's still there's
- 13:39Speaker 1: still requesting they appear. We'll see what the consequences of
- 13:44Speaker 1: these guys refusing to appear continually.
- 13:49Speaker 3: No, no, I think they're going to be digging continuously
- 13:52Speaker 3: into precisely what happened, because I think there's some people
- 13:55Speaker 3: that need to go to jail over what happened.
- 13:57Speaker 4: I mean, what we.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Saw should not happen in a democracy is Banana Republic stuff.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Before you two go, I do want to get your
- 14:07Speaker 3: take on the Epstein saga. I'll be talking to Josh
- 14:11Speaker 3: Hammer about that a little bit later in the program.
- 14:13Speaker 3: But this Tina has the danger of fracturing the Trump base.
- 14:18Speaker 3: There are some very unhappy souls, understandably, so they wanted
- 14:22Speaker 3: to see these files released. They wanted to see powerful
- 14:26Speaker 3: men get their comeuppons for their associations with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 14:31Speaker 3: And we're now told there is no list, there is
- 14:34Speaker 3: no further crime to be investigated here.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Well, I think whatever they've got, they've got to release it.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You know, Trump said he would Elon Musk is not
- 14:44Speaker 1: going to hold back on this.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He's going to keep pushing.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So I would strongly advise no matter what details they've got,
- 14:51Speaker 1: they must release it to the public to shut this down.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 14:57Speaker 3: I think this is really under my trust in the
- 15:01Speaker 3: Trump administration for the first time in this second term.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Prue, what is your take on this?
- 15:08Speaker 7: Well, I think you're right.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Both of you are right, and what Trump really should
- 15:13Speaker 6: do is trump them you know, out himself. If he's
- 15:15Speaker 6: been to a party at Epstein's tell them.
- 15:18Speaker 9: You know.
- 15:19Speaker 6: I just think that if he's got nothing to hide,
- 15:22Speaker 6: if no women have come out of the woodwork naming Trump,
- 15:25Speaker 6: then maybe he should just gazump them and do it.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Look, I really don't think that is the issue, because
- 15:33Speaker 3: let's remember the FBI, the very highly politicized FBI. The
- 15:37Speaker 3: Biden administration had these files for years. If there was
- 15:41Speaker 3: anything hinting at anyone close to Trump or Trump himself,
- 15:46Speaker 3: it would have leaked. I don't think that is the issue.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I think whatever evidence they had has been destroyed. They
- 15:53Speaker 3: knew who was coming in, they knew Cashpttel was going
- 15:55Speaker 3: to be FBI director. That's my suspicion unless there are
- 16:00Speaker 3: still people within the FBI and the Justice Department who
- 16:04Speaker 3: are not acting in the full interests of the justice
- 16:08Speaker 3: system and transparency. But yeah, I think this is something
- 16:11Speaker 3: that Donald Trump can't ignore.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I think he wants to.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Move on from it and concentrate on other things. But
- 16:18Speaker 3: this is a matter of trust. Tina McQueen, Frow McSwain,
- 16:22Speaker 3: thank you so much for your time.
- 16:23Speaker 7: Tonight.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Let's bring in Harold's Sun reporter Carlie Douglas. Carly, thanks
- 16:28Speaker 3: for joining me. Let's start with your story in today's paper.
- 16:32Speaker 3: What can you tell me about this anti Israeli protester
- 16:35Speaker 3: who has been stood down from her role at Saint
- 16:38Speaker 3: Vincent's Hospital. This follows the chaotic frightening protest Wesort, a
- 16:43Speaker 3: popular restaurant in Melbourne CBDA. Prominent pro Palestinian activist has now.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Lost her role at Saint Vincent's.
- 16:52Speaker 10: She has so Jmima Demanuel. She is a very prominent
- 16:56Speaker 10: pro Palestine protest that we often see her with their
- 16:59Speaker 10: drums anti Israel slogan's.
- 17:02Speaker 4: At these protests.
- 17:03Speaker 7: She's been stood down after.
- 17:05Speaker 10: These reports came out about her flipping the bird off,
- 17:08Speaker 10: flipping the bird of patrons and at staff at Miznon
- 17:12Speaker 10: on Friday amid all the chaos.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Now, why was mis Non targeted because that came as
- 17:19Speaker 3: a shock to many people. Why were they focusing on
- 17:22Speaker 3: this one eatery.
- 17:23Speaker 10: So the owner seems to have a connection to this
- 17:25Speaker 10: group called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, and that group has
- 17:30Speaker 10: all these activists claim that there is evidence that some
- 17:33Speaker 10: of their staff members have been killing Palestinians in Gaza.
- 17:36Speaker 10: So he's been connected to them through his advocacy work.
- 17:40Speaker 3: So he's providing humanitarian aid to people in Ghas are
- 17:45Speaker 3: associated with a group that does, and they've targeted him
- 17:48Speaker 3: for that despite being propound.
- 17:51Speaker 4: This is very confusing.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I think to the average Victorian Australian it.
- 17:55Speaker 10: Is it is, and I mean when it comes to
- 17:57Speaker 10: what these activists are saying, they believe they have proof
- 17:59Speaker 10: that some of the staff members on the ground in
- 18:01Speaker 10: Gaza have shot Palestinians at a lining up for food.
- 18:05Speaker 10: When it comes to his work, I can't imagine he
- 18:08Speaker 10: has any real direct influence on what's going on there.
- 18:11Speaker 10: He's now actually resigned from that position. He's no longer
- 18:14Speaker 10: a spokesperson for the group.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Following this, he has been essentially bullied into relinquishing that position.
- 18:20Speaker 3: So these violent protests do have an impact. We like
- 18:24Speaker 3: to think they don't, and there's some consequences. We have
- 18:27Speaker 3: had three people charged now over this particular protest. All
- 18:34Speaker 3: three were charged with assault, afreight righteous behavior and criminal damage.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Two have been bailed Krli one was denied bail. Now
- 18:43Speaker 3: you've covered these stories for some time. What is the
- 18:47Speaker 3: mood like in the Jewish community. Do they feel that
- 18:50Speaker 3: police are taking tough enough action against these protesters.
- 18:54Speaker 10: They're incredibly frustrated leaders and community members alike. They feel
- 18:58Speaker 10: like for the past almost two years or more than
- 19:02Speaker 10: eighteen months since October seven, that police haven't done enough,
- 19:05Speaker 10: that the government hasn't done enough. We have seen some
- 19:07Speaker 10: changes these new hate laws. We don't actually know whether
- 19:11Speaker 10: they actually will stamp out slogans like chance like debts
- 19:15Speaker 10: of the IDF and or Zion as a terrists. We
- 19:17Speaker 10: have to wait and see. But they're certainly frustrated that
- 19:20Speaker 10: more people weren't actually arrested on the night on Friday night.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Well, yeah, three people.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I saw the scenes and there were a lot more
- 19:28Speaker 3: than three people behaving violently. So yeah, that just doesn't
- 19:32Speaker 3: seem good enough, given that police were on the scene
- 19:35Speaker 3: very quickly. You mentioned this task force just into Allen
- 19:39Speaker 3: has announced that the premiere when we we'll see what
- 19:42Speaker 3: that looks like and what it's going to deliver.
- 19:45Speaker 2: It's a good question.
- 19:45Speaker 10: They met for the first time on Tuesday night. It
- 19:48Speaker 10: is with new Chief Commissioner Mike Bush, Jewish leaders, a
- 19:52Speaker 10: whole heap of ministers. They will be looking at things
- 19:55Speaker 10: like more police powers at these protests. One thing that
- 19:59Speaker 10: has always come up is protest permits, very similar to
- 20:02Speaker 10: New South Wales. The government doesn't seem particularly open to
- 20:05Speaker 10: that though they do have another meeting coming up for
- 20:07Speaker 10: the next few weeks, so we'll see.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Well, if they just followed some of the recommendations or
- 20:12Speaker 3: requests from the police, it will probably make life ease
- 20:14Speaker 3: if we're everybody, what are we expecting this weekend?
- 20:17Speaker 4: Last weekend we saw those ugly scenes.
- 20:19Speaker 3: We saw motorists having chaos in the CBD with these
- 20:23Speaker 3: protests blocking traffic. We saw those chants or death to
- 20:27Speaker 3: the IDF. So it wasn't good enough in Melbourne's CBD.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Are we expecting more of the same or we.
- 20:33Speaker 10: Live in Victoria so absolutely yes. They are planning another
- 20:36Speaker 10: one outside the State Library this Sunday. I'm sure that
- 20:39Speaker 10: we'll probably be hearing the same chance of death to
- 20:42Speaker 10: the IDF. Along with all Zionisa Terris and what has
- 20:46Speaker 10: been going on for the past eighteen months, I feel,
- 20:48Speaker 10: you know, there are a lot of people that feel
- 20:49Speaker 10: that they have been emboldened by lack of enforcement, and
- 20:53Speaker 10: so I don't think we're going to see this go
- 20:54Speaker 10: away anytime soon.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they've seen two tier policing in this
- 20:59Speaker 3: state as well, because I have seen again multiple times
- 21:03Speaker 3: the protesters who are countering these activists who might show
- 21:07Speaker 3: up with an Israeli flag and just stand there.
- 21:09Speaker 4: The police come along and march them along.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Or threaten to arrest them for disturbing the peace, and
- 21:16Speaker 3: the people chanting these genocidal chants, or being aggressive and
- 21:21Speaker 3: intimidating just people going about their business. They're allowed to
- 21:25Speaker 3: carry on as they wish. Karlie Douglas, you're doing fantastic work.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Thanks so much for your time.
- 21:30Speaker 11: Thank you reader.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Still to come, Lefties losing it?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Plus, it turns out a clear majority of Americans do
- 21:36Speaker 3: want to have every single illegal immigrant deported.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Josh Hammer has the details.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Next Welcome Back, It's time for lefties losing it, and
- 21:54Speaker 3: let's start in the bluest of blue cities of San Francisco.
- 21:58Speaker 3: A city report that The Guardian asks, why is San
- 22:02Speaker 3: Francisco covered in human feces? That's a real headline, folks,
- 22:07Speaker 3: it's real. And today in San Francisco, the far left
- 22:10Speaker 3: weren't just dodging the human poop epidemic. They were attacking
- 22:15Speaker 3: ice agents trying to do their jobs. So much screeching.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Let's stay in California. Here is a blue headed woman
- 22:35Speaker 3: in San Diego laying hands on an officer not recommended.
- 22:41Speaker 3: This was during a protest against the arrest of an illegal.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Immigrant from Guatemala.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Who had allegedly rammed his car into a government vehicle.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Oh lady, you can't do that. You know, these people
- 23:03Speaker 3: live in denial of democracy. There was an election Donald
- 23:07Speaker 3: Trump won on these very policies.
- 23:09Speaker 4: He has a.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Clear mandate to deport every single illegal immigrant. But even
- 23:14Speaker 3: some commentators on Fox News seem to misunderstand that. Here
- 23:19Speaker 3: is lifty Jessica Talov with this claim.
- 23:22Speaker 11: I'm saying that if you commit a crime, once you
- 23:24Speaker 11: are on US soil, you should be turned over to ICE.
- 23:27Speaker 11: And I think that's an easy exchange, and that's what
- 23:29Speaker 11: people voted for in November, and you would have a
- 23:32Speaker 11: much stronger case against the overreach that we're seeing in
- 23:35Speaker 11: terms of what ICE is doing now that is not
- 23:36Speaker 11: commensurate with what the American public wants. They didn't vote
- 23:39Speaker 11: for people to show up at home depots, they didn't
- 23:41Speaker 11: vote for people to show up at immigration courts.
- 23:43Speaker 7: They didn't vote for the fact.
- 23:44Speaker 11: That there's no data out from CATO that sixty five
- 23:47Speaker 11: percent of the people that ICE has taken into custody
- 23:50Speaker 11: have had no convictions.
- 23:52Speaker 3: What that's precisely what they voted for. Are we just
- 23:55Speaker 3: broadcasting wishful thinking?
- 23:57Speaker 4: Is analysis?
- 23:58Speaker 3: Now, Jessica, I don't know what parallel universe you've been inhabiting.
- 24:02Speaker 4: But Donald Trump took a policy.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Of deporting every illegal immigrant to an election and one
- 24:07Speaker 3: in a landslide, and the polls have been clear ever
- 24:10Speaker 3: since the majority of Americans, including the majority of legal immigrants,
- 24:15Speaker 3: support Trump's deportation plan. Let's go to CNN for this
- 24:20Speaker 3: bit of analysis.
- 24:21Speaker 4: A reality check for Jessica.
- 24:23Speaker 12: All immigrants who are here illegally fifty five percent of
- 24:26Speaker 12: the New York Times, Marquette sixty four percent, CBS News
- 24:28Speaker 12: fifty seven percent, ABC News, with a slightly different question
- 24:31Speaker 12: fifty six percent. So what you're seeing essentially here is
- 24:35Speaker 12: very clear indication that a majority of Americans, in fact,
- 24:39Speaker 12: when they're asked us one question, which I believe gets
- 24:41Speaker 12: that the underlying feelings do in fact wan to the
- 24:44Speaker 12: port all immigrants who are here illegally. There's no arguing
- 24:47Speaker 12: with these different numbers, because they're all essentially the same
- 24:49Speaker 12: across four different posters.
- 24:51Speaker 4: There you go, it's pretty conclusive.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Now let's have a little fun with the National Education Association.
- 24:57Speaker 3: This is the largest teachers union in a min America.
- 25:01Speaker 3: It's full of hard left activists led by this woman
- 25:04Speaker 3: any A president Becky Pringle her.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Nay, God not rise up, Annia old ond Oh God, God,
- 25:15Speaker 5: let go anyone pen.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 25:19Speaker 3: She's rather excitable, isn't she. I'm sure she'll calm down
- 25:22Speaker 3: and make more sense if we just give her a chance.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Hell no, you're not tagan money from our public schools, Hoover,
- 25:32Speaker 5: not one election.
- 25:34Speaker 4: The elections.
- 25:35Speaker 3: We will stand.
- 25:37Speaker 4: We will stand. And let's check in on Stacy Abrams.
- 25:41Speaker 3: You remember her, the Democrat with delusions of grandeur who
- 25:46Speaker 3: somehow believes she won.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Elections she clearly lost.
- 25:49Speaker 3: She really thought she was the rightful governor of Georgia. Well,
- 25:52Speaker 3: this democracy denier is now having delusions about living in
- 25:57Speaker 3: a tyrannical Trump dictatorship where.
- 26:00Speaker 4: There'll be no more elections. I've said it before and
- 26:04Speaker 4: I'll say it again. These people are nuts.
- 26:06Speaker 13: You send the US Marines into spaces they should not be.
- 26:10Speaker 13: You send the National Guard in, you kidnap people off
- 26:13Speaker 13: of the streets and pretend that's normal, because that's how
- 26:16Speaker 13: you quiet dissent, because you make everyone afraid that if
- 26:18Speaker 13: they don't do.
- 26:19Speaker 4: What you want, they might be next. And once you've done.
- 26:22Speaker 13: Those nine steps, steps ten is easy, that's when you
- 26:24Speaker 13: decide there won't be new elections because everyone's either afraid, poor, broken,
- 26:29Speaker 13: or complicit.
- 26:30Speaker 7: Do you know what I mean now?
- 26:31Speaker 3: Is Newsweek's senior editor at Large at Article three projects
- 26:35Speaker 3: Senior Council Josh Hammer? Josh, have you voted in your
- 26:39Speaker 3: last presidential election?
- 26:40Speaker 4: Will Trump even outlaw the midterms?
- 26:45Speaker 14: Yeah? Stacy Abrams is indicative, frankly, where the current Democrats are, right,
- 26:49Speaker 14: I mean, she is indicative of the current manifestation of
- 26:53Speaker 14: this party that is a purported democratic party that ironically
- 26:56Speaker 14: read it stands against democracy. Now, frankly, if you actually
- 27:00Speaker 14: want to go back far enough, if you really want
- 27:02Speaker 14: to go back far enough, the Democratic Party going back
- 27:04Speaker 14: to it, it's not so savory origins. The nineteenth century
- 27:07Speaker 14: here in the United States has a long and somewhat
- 27:09Speaker 14: inglorious history actually of opposing democracy. The Democratic Party back
- 27:13Speaker 14: in the day was the party of chattel slavery. The
- 27:15Speaker 14: Democratic Party back in the day was the party of
- 27:18Speaker 14: trying to disenfranchise black Americans in the Jim Crow South.
- 27:22Speaker 14: So the Democratic Party ironically has a very mixed history
- 27:25Speaker 14: when it comes to democracy. This is kind of just
- 27:27Speaker 14: the latest manifestation of it, by the way. You know,
- 27:31Speaker 14: it's just so ironic. It's just pure hit hypocrisy, is
- 27:34Speaker 14: not that The American left bleeds on and on and
- 27:37Speaker 14: on and on to this day about Donald Trump in
- 27:39Speaker 14: the twenty twenty election, he cannot let the election go.
- 27:42Speaker 14: Stacy Abram is one of the original election deniers who
- 27:45Speaker 14: still has not let her twenty eighteen gubernatorial election go
- 27:49Speaker 14: Hillary Clinton for them matter. Actually, in the days after
- 27:52Speaker 14: the twenty sixteen election, she was denying that one as well.
- 27:54Speaker 14: So the Democrats readA you know, not only are they
- 27:57Speaker 14: trying essentially to undermine democracy, but when democracy happens to
- 28:01Speaker 14: go the wrong way in against them there they oftentimes
- 28:03Speaker 14: cry foul as well. But Stacy emer's this point, I mean,
- 28:07Speaker 14: she is best set to just get out of politics.
- 28:09Speaker 14: Who is her visa at this point? There, she's a
- 28:11Speaker 14: completely irrelevant figure. If I were her, I would just
- 28:13Speaker 14: go set up shop and a nice house or a
- 28:15Speaker 14: nice farm there, get out of public light and enjoy
- 28:18Speaker 14: the rest of your because, frankly, girl, you're not making
- 28:19Speaker 14: it very well in politics.
- 28:22Speaker 3: She's not, but she remains a media darling somehow, so
- 28:26Speaker 3: I'm sure we'll keep hearing from her.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Now.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I want to play you a short clip from the
- 28:31Speaker 3: Vice president.
- 28:32Speaker 4: This is JD.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Vansy gave a keynote speech at the Clermont Institute over
- 28:39Speaker 3: the weekend, and there were some fascinating insens and I
- 28:43Speaker 3: have to say his analysis here of the radical left
- 28:47Speaker 3: and the danger they pose is spot on.
- 28:50Speaker 8: I was once comforted by these contradictions within the modern left.
- 28:54Speaker 8: How could privilege whites march around with a straight face
- 28:57Speaker 8: to crying white privilege? How could progressives pretend to love
- 29:05Speaker 8: conservative Muslims despite those Muslims views on gender and sexuality.
- 29:11Speaker 8: But the answer is obvious if you think about it,
- 29:15Speaker 8: and it's a very, very dangerous and very sad answer.
- 29:20Speaker 2: The radicals of the far.
- 29:21Speaker 8: Left they don't need a unifying ideology of what they're for,
- 29:26Speaker 8: because they know very well what they're against. What unites Islamists,
- 29:33Speaker 8: gender studies majors, socially liberal white urbanites, and big pharma lobbyists.
- 29:39Speaker 8: It isn't the ideas of Thomas Jefferson or even of
- 29:42Speaker 8: Karl Marx. It's hatred. They hate the people in this room.
- 29:49Speaker 8: They hate the President of the United States, and most
- 29:52Speaker 8: of all, they hate the people who voted for that
- 29:55Speaker 8: President of the United States in the last election in November.
- 29:59Speaker 8: This is the the animating principle of the American far left.
- 30:02Speaker 4: He put that so beautifully, Josh.
- 30:05Speaker 3: The animating principle of the far left, not just in
- 30:08Speaker 3: America but across the West, is their shared hatred. I
- 30:13Speaker 3: would argue their share hatred of the West of conservatives.
- 30:18Speaker 3: It seems to be the only thing that unites them
- 30:20Speaker 3: because they share little else in common. Their values are
- 30:24Speaker 3: pole opposites in many cases.
- 30:28Speaker 14: So, first of all, this is really this speech encapsulates
- 30:31Speaker 14: why I, along with many others, wanted Jdvance to be
- 30:34Speaker 14: vice president in the first place, because he is of
- 30:36Speaker 14: a younger generation. Jady Nier are of the same generation
- 30:39Speaker 14: we kind of came up with this modern, deeply illiberal
- 30:42Speaker 14: left ascendant in the United States and throughout the West.
- 30:45Speaker 14: More generally, and because we are of this generation, of
- 30:48Speaker 14: this age, we fundamentally just kind of see it and
- 30:50Speaker 14: get it in a slightly different way. So that is
- 30:53Speaker 14: what you heard there at the speech from the Vice president.
- 30:56Speaker 14: He's totally right, of course, Riata. I oftentimes wonder as well.
- 30:59Speaker 14: You know, I actually think think about a name that
- 31:01Speaker 14: you don't really hear very often anymore. Linda sarsor Linda
- 31:03Speaker 14: Sarsar was the Muslim girl who was the leader of
- 31:07Speaker 14: the Women's March against Donald Trump orley in the Trump prenzity. Now,
- 31:11Speaker 14: Linda Sarsar deleted a lot of her old tweets, but
- 31:14Speaker 14: she has this very odd old tweet from like twenty eleven,
- 31:17Speaker 14: twenty twelve around then where she praises sharia law when
- 31:21Speaker 14: it comes to interest rates on credit card payments or
- 31:23Speaker 14: something like that. There and you know him. I mean,
- 31:26Speaker 14: let's think about what sharia law says about. Oh, I
- 31:28Speaker 14: don't know, the Women's March, like feminism, like women in general.
- 31:33Speaker 9: There, I'm not sure you want to go there, do hear?
- 31:35Speaker 14: But ultimately it's this whole idea of what some people
- 31:37Speaker 14: refer to as this red green alliance between the Marxist
- 31:40Speaker 14: between between the communists and the radical Islamist. Zoran Mamdani
- 31:43Speaker 14: in New York City is actually a singular, one person encapsulation, frankly,
- 31:48Speaker 14: of the of the Red Green alliance there, and JD.
- 31:51Speaker 14: Vance is totally correct that what they have in common
- 31:53Speaker 14: is a deep, utter, dripping disdain for Western civilization, for
- 31:58Speaker 14: the Jews and the Christians who have built Western civilization
- 32:01Speaker 14: all today we call the West. They want to tear
- 32:03Speaker 14: it down. That's what the left rider has been trying
- 32:05Speaker 14: to do, at least as far as Caral Marx's Communist Manifesto,
- 32:08Speaker 14: probably going further back and that to the French Revolution,
- 32:10Speaker 14: the Jacobins there, but today that's all they stand for,
- 32:13Speaker 14: and they're just dripping, seething with bitter envy, resentment, and hatred.
- 32:19Speaker 3: And I've got to say, every time I see JD.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Vans give a speech like that, certain he's going to
- 32:26Speaker 3: be president, it seems to be something that you could
- 32:29Speaker 3: put the house on.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Not that I'm suggesting people go out there and gamble.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Now, Josh, I played a clip just a little bit
- 32:35Speaker 3: earlier from CNN showing that the poles are clear, and
- 32:40Speaker 3: we're talking here about poles run by leftist media like
- 32:43Speaker 3: The New York Times, CBS, ABC, and these polls show
- 32:48Speaker 3: that the deportation program is popular with voters, and that
- 32:52Speaker 3: a clear majority of Americans want to see every single
- 32:56Speaker 3: illegal immigrant deported, not just those who have been victed
- 33:00Speaker 3: of additional primes.
- 33:01Speaker 4: It seems the media.
- 33:03Speaker 3: An activist classes campaign is not working, Josh referring to
- 33:08Speaker 3: the detention centers as concentration camps and calling Ice agents Nazis.
- 33:13Speaker 3: That's not having an impact on the American public.
- 33:18Speaker 14: So this is a crucial point at this particular juncture
- 33:20Speaker 14: because there's been somewhat of a whisper campaign, a trial
- 33:23Speaker 14: balloon happening in some American conservative circles over the past
- 33:26Speaker 14: week or so, trying to float this trial balloon of
- 33:29Speaker 14: an amnesty program. So Brooke Rollins, who's President Trump's agriculture secretary,
- 33:34Speaker 14: has been front and center of this, talking about, oh,
- 33:36Speaker 14: you know, maybe we want to help the farmers out
- 33:38Speaker 14: have a greater supply of certain H TWOA visas for
- 33:42Speaker 14: farm labor. They are trying to give more people who
- 33:43Speaker 14: are here illegally permits there. But you know, put simply,
- 33:47Speaker 14: the people are not buying it. And above all, Donald
- 33:50Speaker 14: Trump's own voters are not buying them. You know, we
- 33:52Speaker 14: in Magna and America first and President Trump's voting base.
- 33:56Speaker 14: As someone who has voted for Donald Trump and presidents
- 33:59Speaker 14: numerous times like myself, this is simply not what we
- 34:01Speaker 14: voted for. We did not vote to legalize a lot
- 34:05Speaker 14: of legal lands they are, frankly, we voted for exactly
- 34:07Speaker 14: what Tom Homan the Borders are is doing, which is
- 34:10Speaker 14: attempting to lead the largest mass deportation operation in the
- 34:13Speaker 14: history of the United States. But as that CNN polling
- 34:16Speaker 14: indicates there, it's really not just voters for President Trump.
- 34:19Speaker 9: Like me who actually sympathized with this.
- 34:21Speaker 14: In fact, if you look at the polling of Americans
- 34:23Speaker 14: who supports mass deportation of the country's large and growing
- 34:27Speaker 14: legal alien population, now compared to where it was fifteen
- 34:30Speaker 14: years ago, the percentage of Americans who support that has
- 34:32Speaker 14: almost doubled. It was roughly one third during the Barack
- 34:35Speaker 14: obam presidency. It's now sixty percent, bording on two thirds
- 34:38Speaker 14: in some polls there. That is a massive, massive change.
- 34:41Speaker 14: Donald Trump is himself almost singularly responsible, frankly, for that change,
- 34:45Speaker 14: and it would be a total disaster if the pro
- 34:47Speaker 14: amnesty forces somehow went out in this internal struggle. The
- 34:50Speaker 14: good news read is that I'm pretty sure that they're
- 34:51Speaker 14: going to fail, and fail epically at that.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Now Too news broken exclusively earlier today by Fox Use
- 35:00Speaker 3: and they reported that former CIA director John Brennan at
- 35:04Speaker 3: former FBI Director James Comy are under criminal investigation for
- 35:10Speaker 3: the potential wrongdoing related to the Russian collusion hoax, including
- 35:15Speaker 3: allegedly making false statements to Congress. Josh, this is potentially
- 35:20Speaker 3: explosive stuff. I would argue this is well overdue. What's
- 35:25Speaker 3: your take on this?
- 35:27Speaker 14: My take on this is that Cash Bettel was born
- 35:28Speaker 14: for this moment. Cash Mittel is the FBI director. Cash
- 35:32Speaker 14: Bettel is one of the first people in the entire
- 35:34Speaker 14: American political class who saw the Russia collusion delusion, as
- 35:38Speaker 14: I call it, who saw that for what it was,
- 35:40Speaker 14: which was this wild, this wild information operation foisted on
- 35:45Speaker 14: the American people by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Fusion GPS,
- 35:49Speaker 14: this very sketchy outfit along with Perkins Koolie, the Tony
- 35:53Speaker 14: Waite shoe lot from there. The Russia hoax is one
- 35:56Speaker 14: of the greatest hoaxes perpetrayed against the American people in
- 35:59Speaker 14: American history, and very few people have actually paid any price.
- 36:02Speaker 14: That's maybe the utterly most damning detail. Kevin Kleinsmith essentially
- 36:06Speaker 14: got a slap on the wrist, but none of the
- 36:07Speaker 14: people who were actually responsible actually served any jail time
- 36:10Speaker 14: for Russia Gate whatsoever. Cash Bettel back when he was
- 36:13Speaker 14: working in the National Security Establishment there, he was on
- 36:16Speaker 14: this since day one. He has always, always, always talked
- 36:19Speaker 14: about Russiagate. I knew that if Cash became the FTDI
- 36:21Speaker 14: director that he would not let it go. So this
- 36:23Speaker 14: is looking like a potentially very very big deal. And again,
- 36:27Speaker 14: it's really perfect that Cash the best guy is lenient.
- 36:30Speaker 14: I finally, I will say this, especially after what happened
- 36:32Speaker 14: with the Epstein files, I think that Cash Betel could
- 36:34Speaker 14: definitely use somewhat of somewhat of a win right now,
- 36:37Speaker 14: especially to try to make sure that he is viewed
- 36:40Speaker 14: this the right way by President Trump's base. I personally
- 36:42Speaker 14: read it. I'm not necessarily one crying foul as others are.
- 36:45Speaker 14: That's not necessarily might hell to die on the Epstein files.
- 36:47Speaker 14: But a lot of people in the MAGA movement are
- 36:49Speaker 14: very upset with how this has been handled. So I
- 36:52Speaker 14: think this is also a politically beneficial move for Cash
- 36:54Speaker 14: Betel as well. In addition to the substantive merits of it, which,
- 36:58Speaker 14: as you said, are very much long overdue.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Well, Cash Patel, the FBI director, I think does have
- 37:05Speaker 3: a problem, Josh, the Jeffrey Epstein issue.
- 37:09Speaker 4: I don't think it's going to go away. We're hearing some.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Very angry words from very influential people on the right.
- 37:18Speaker 3: And I'm talking about people from Tucker Carlson to Jesse
- 37:21Speaker 3: Waters from Fox News to Benny Johnson, people who are
- 37:26Speaker 3: been very much on the America First bandwagon, but they
- 37:29Speaker 3: are just not believing this conclusion. They say there are
- 37:33Speaker 3: massive holes in these conclusions and that there has been
- 37:37Speaker 3: little transparency. Is this something that Donald Trump can afford
- 37:41Speaker 3: to ignore? Does it have to come back to this
- 37:45Speaker 3: and have Pam Bondi give a greater explanation of how
- 37:49Speaker 3: they've come to this decision and answer some of the
- 37:53Speaker 3: glaring questions that remain unanswered.
- 37:56Speaker 14: So the adminstruation is obviously not handled this well. I mean,
- 37:59Speaker 14: to be clear, reader, I am definitely not apologizing for
- 38:01Speaker 14: the administration. I mean Pam Bondi said at one point
- 38:03Speaker 14: that the Epstein files were sitting on her desk. She
- 38:06Speaker 14: said this during a Fox News interview and then we
- 38:09Speaker 14: saw just a few days ago that the US government,
- 38:12Speaker 14: with all of its force and might say that there
- 38:14Speaker 14: actually is no such thing as the Epstein client list.
- 38:17Speaker 14: So I mean, one of these two things clearly is
- 38:19Speaker 14: not true. So it seems I think on the one end,
- 38:21Speaker 14: that some people were definitely led to believe that there
- 38:25Speaker 14: was a big there there that was not there. Personally,
- 38:28Speaker 14: I have long believed that the folks who are promising
- 38:32Speaker 14: more than they're likely is have has been trying to
- 38:35Speaker 14: I think do frankly a lot of global people. The
- 38:38Speaker 14: Epstein case back in two thousand and five was essentially
- 38:40Speaker 14: dropped by the Bush era DOJ was given to a
- 38:43Speaker 14: Palm Beach County, Florida state prosecutor, which frankly makes no sense,
- 38:47Speaker 14: And that really was kind of the origin of any
- 38:49Speaker 14: cover up, if there was any, If there was any
- 38:51Speaker 14: cover up, was the decision of the Bush era DOJ.
- 38:54Speaker 14: That was when I'm thinking investigve journalists really should have
- 38:56Speaker 14: been sniffing around there. But the fact that twenty years
- 38:58Speaker 14: later that we haven't been able to piece together a
- 39:00Speaker 14: lot of details after a lot of these victims of
- 39:03Speaker 14: these horrific crimes have signed nondisclosure agreements oftentimes to take
- 39:07Speaker 14: in large sums of money to not talk there. So
- 39:09Speaker 14: I'm not shocked that there's no there there, and I
- 39:12Speaker 14: think a lot of people do have an explanation to do.
- 39:14Speaker 14: I would encourage the President of the United States, Donald
- 39:16Speaker 14: Trump to be the guy to actually get in front
- 39:18Speaker 14: of the camera and just explain what happened here. He's
- 39:21Speaker 14: the right guy to do it. It will be more
- 39:22Speaker 14: credible coming from him and not Pambondi this point, but
- 39:25Speaker 14: that that explanation definitely is needed at this point.
- 39:27Speaker 12: I believe.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got to say I've got some major doubts
- 39:32Speaker 3: about this one. Josh Hammah, thank you so much for
- 39:35Speaker 3: your time tonight.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Thank you, Rita.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Still to come, we'll expose the role teachers' unions are
- 39:40Speaker 3: playing in indoctrinating children.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Corey DeAngelis joins me next, welcome back.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Now we all know the indoctrination we see in schools
- 39:58Speaker 3: is harming kids, harming their academic progress, and filling their
- 40:02Speaker 3: heads with hard left ideology rather than you know, fax
- 40:06Speaker 3: figures and any notion of critical thinking. The teachers' unions
- 40:10Speaker 3: embraced this political activism.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Let's hear from an.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Educator that won the Teachers Union's twenty twenty five Teacher
- 40:18Speaker 3: of the Year. Now, this teacher sees her role as
- 40:21Speaker 3: inherently political. Once I realized how deeply political our profession
- 40:27Speaker 3: had always been, I knew I could no longer stay
- 40:30Speaker 3: on the sidelines.
- 40:32Speaker 4: So I got involved.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I found my pupil, and my pupil helped me find
- 40:38Speaker 3: my voice. And here are more activist teachers discussing how
- 40:42Speaker 3: they can start the political indoctrination earlier. Don't wait for
- 40:46Speaker 3: high education, don't wait for universities, start much sooner.
- 40:50Speaker 15: I left higher education and work in a high school now.
- 40:53Speaker 15: So everyone who raised her hand and said that you
- 40:55Speaker 15: got radicalized in college, imagine if you got RADICALI four
- 41:00Speaker 15: years earlier. We need to organize undergraduates to join in
- 41:03Speaker 15: this struggle, because we're students and workers. And now I
- 41:07Speaker 15: just want to say, because I think a lot of
- 41:08Speaker 15: people here on higher ed like work with the high schools,
- 41:11Speaker 15: connect with the teachers' unions.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Joining me now is American Culture Projects Senior fellow and
- 41:16Speaker 3: school choice advocate Corey Diangelis. Corey, how widespread is this
- 41:22Speaker 3: problem and how culpable are the teachers' unions.
- 41:26Speaker 9: Yeah, it's pretty widespread. And there's actually a nationwide survey
- 41:30Speaker 9: that came out earlier this year in the United States
- 41:32Speaker 9: showing that about thirty six percent of students reported that
- 41:37Speaker 9: their teachers reported often or almost daily that America is
- 41:41Speaker 9: a fundamentally racist nation. So it's pretty crazy. You had
- 41:45Speaker 9: this going on at the higher education level, but it's
- 41:48Speaker 9: also going on at the K through twelve level. I
- 41:51Speaker 9: think it actually bubbles up through the government school system
- 41:54Speaker 9: and they take that same ideology with them to college.
- 41:58Speaker 9: And you had this person, Tina you just showed from
- 42:01Speaker 9: the Socialism twenty twenty five conference. They're saying it out
- 42:04Speaker 9: loud that they want to use the school system to
- 42:07Speaker 9: indoctrinate kids with far left ideology. It's about time we
- 42:11Speaker 9: have school choice so that families can seek alternatives that
- 42:14Speaker 9: align with their values.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Well, let's hear from the biggest teachers union in America.
- 42:21Speaker 3: This is the president of the National Education Association.
- 42:25Speaker 4: This is a pecky pringle.
- 42:27Speaker 5: They go, not right of any hold on, hold on,
- 42:34Speaker 5: don't let go anyone.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Then, oh, dear me, Corey, that's the president. Then you
- 42:43Speaker 3: can see what direction the union's going to go. They
- 42:46Speaker 3: are out and loud and proud activists. They're not backing
- 42:50Speaker 3: down at all.
- 42:53Speaker 9: Exactly. They see this as a tool of indoctrination. They
- 42:56Speaker 9: don't see the school system as a way to improve
- 42:58Speaker 9: educational outcomes. And this was the NEA's leadership summit where
- 43:04Speaker 9: they're basically having the inmates run the asylum. Do you
- 43:07Speaker 9: want this person educating your kids? Do you want them
- 43:10Speaker 9: teaching your children in a public school? Absolutely not. So
- 43:14Speaker 9: this is free advertising for homeschooling and school choice. This
- 43:18Speaker 9: is the person who controls the school system of the
- 43:21Speaker 9: United States, the biggest teachers union in the country. They
- 43:23Speaker 9: also have a federal charter. Why do they have the
- 43:27Speaker 9: backing of Congress. The United States Congress should evoke that
- 43:30Speaker 9: charter immediately and not allow them to have any more power.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Well, you've got a leaked copy cory of the National
- 43:40Speaker 3: Education Association's resolutions that they pass at their annual meeting.
- 43:45Speaker 4: This is incredible stuff. It's got resolutions like this this.
- 43:49Speaker 4: Look at this one.
- 43:50Speaker 3: We're talking here about America's like you said, largest teachers
- 43:53Speaker 3: union vowing to defend against Trump's embrace of fascism by
- 43:58Speaker 3: using the term fascism misspelled in any materials correctly characterized
- 44:04Speaker 3: Donald Trump's program and actions. Now, never mind the spelling
- 44:08Speaker 3: and grammar crimes in that sentence, Cory, The ideology here
- 44:12Speaker 3: is so wacky, so dangerous, and so out of touch
- 44:16Speaker 3: with the mainstream. We're talking here about the popularly elected president.
- 44:22Speaker 9: Yeah, this is insane, I mean, and it's just beyond
- 44:25Speaker 9: parody that they can't even get the spelling right to
- 44:29Speaker 9: spend thousands of dollars to call the president of fascist.
- 44:33Speaker 9: They also had a separate one to call abolishing the
- 44:35Speaker 9: Department of Education racist. So everything they don't like is
- 44:39Speaker 9: either racist or fascist. They're just going to name call.
- 44:42Speaker 9: But it's just it's so ridiculous. If anything, the school
- 44:45Speaker 9: system is what is racist. It's trapping poor, low income kids,
- 44:49Speaker 9: minority kids in failing school districts just based on their
- 44:52Speaker 9: zip code, their sentenced to a lifetime of poverty. And
- 44:55Speaker 9: the school system is to blame. We should give the
- 44:58Speaker 9: money to those families so they can go to other
- 45:00Speaker 9: schools that give them better academic achievement results and better opportunities.
- 45:06Speaker 9: So yeah, the NEA is just it has an incestuous
- 45:09Speaker 9: relationship with the Democrat Party. That lady that was screaming
- 45:12Speaker 9: Becky Pringle. She actually has a position as an at
- 45:16Speaker 9: large member in the US's Democratic Party at their Democratic
- 45:22Speaker 9: National Convention. They're basically the same organization at this point.
- 45:26Speaker 9: They're so partisan and they can't they just can't help themselves.
- 45:30Speaker 9: They just inject politics into the classroom day after day.
- 45:34Speaker 9: And this is again free advertising to pull your kids
- 45:37Speaker 9: out of those schools.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Absolutely, it's free advertising for homeschooling as well, if you
- 45:44Speaker 3: don't have school choice. Corey looks look at a couple
- 45:47Speaker 3: of other resolutions that were pasted, including defending birthright citizenship
- 45:53Speaker 3: and opposing the attempt to revert to pre Civil Rights
- 45:58Speaker 3: movement Jim Crow legal concept or states' rights in order
- 46:01Speaker 3: to deny citizenship to the children of immigrants, again a
- 46:05Speaker 3: passage filled with grammar crimes.
- 46:08Speaker 4: And there was also this with the.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Union vowing to support students who dissenting and organizing against
- 46:15Speaker 3: Trump's policies with regard in particular to ice to immigration
- 46:20Speaker 3: and customs enforcement activities. They're creating not just activists but
- 46:28Speaker 3: agitations here.
- 46:30Speaker 9: It's insane. What is anything None of these resolutions have
- 46:34Speaker 9: anything to do with education of doing the basics, getting math, reading,
- 46:38Speaker 9: and writing correct. It's ideological conformity that they're enforcing, and
- 46:45Speaker 9: they are brainwashing kids. They have about fifty million kids
- 46:48Speaker 9: in the government school system in America. They have a
- 46:51Speaker 9: lot of power over these children. These are young, impressionable minds,
- 46:54Speaker 9: and it should really upset the parents. I mean, they
- 46:57Speaker 9: tried to position this reservue on immigration policy as being
- 47:03Speaker 9: about pro freedom for students expressing themselves. But as you
- 47:07Speaker 9: can see in their resolution, they say they're all for
- 47:11Speaker 9: the students expressing theirselves when it's about when they're against
- 47:15Speaker 9: Trump's policies. It doesn't say, well, we support the students
- 47:18Speaker 9: and their First Amendment right to support or oppose Trump's policies. No,
- 47:23Speaker 9: they only they put their thumb on the scale in
- 47:26Speaker 9: one direction, and that's against their political opponents. Because again,
- 47:30Speaker 9: the teacher Union is just in arm of the Democrat Party.
- 47:32Speaker 9: It's so obvious all of their political contributions go to
- 47:36Speaker 9: the left wing Democrats. Every single year, about ninety nine
- 47:39Speaker 9: percent of that funding is funneled to Democrats. It's a
- 47:42Speaker 9: money laundering operation and it ought to be illegal. At
- 47:45Speaker 9: the very least, we need to revoke their federal charter.
- 47:48Speaker 9: They're a political organization they're not an education organization.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Now, Corey, before you go, you scored a big win recently.
- 47:58Speaker 3: I win in a First Amendment lawsuit in a federal
- 48:03Speaker 3: court against the school district. Tell me briefly about this
- 48:06Speaker 3: case and why this school district now has to pay
- 48:09Speaker 3: you thirty thousand dollars and also pledged to have their
- 48:13Speaker 3: employees undertake training on the First Amendment.
- 48:18Speaker 9: I mean, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Imagine you
- 48:21Speaker 9: have a school district that doesn't understand the First Amendment
- 48:24Speaker 9: and they're having to do mandatory trainings to now tell
- 48:27Speaker 9: all of their employees how to respect the First Amendment
- 48:31Speaker 9: rights of their constituents and the parents and the students. Basically,
- 48:34Speaker 9: what happened was they were illegally using taxpayer resources to
- 48:38Speaker 9: lobby against school choice last year, and so I called
- 48:42Speaker 9: them out on it, and they blocked me on their
- 48:45Speaker 9: Facebook page, and they also started to restrict comments because
- 48:49Speaker 9: other people were calling them out for this activity as well.
- 48:53Speaker 9: And that's a First Amendment violation. They're a government entity.
- 48:57Speaker 9: They cannot restrict the free speech rights of their issuance
- 49:00Speaker 9: or school choice advocates. The judge ordered them to pay
- 49:04Speaker 9: my thirty thousand dollars in attorney's fees and legal fees,
- 49:08Speaker 9: and they also have to do this mandagory a training.
- 49:10Speaker 9: They also had to admit that they were wrong and
- 49:13Speaker 9: promise basically to never do it again. And this is
- 49:15Speaker 9: enforceable by a federal judge. So it's a big win
- 49:18Speaker 9: for free speech.
- 49:20Speaker 4: Fantastic.
- 49:21Speaker 3: That's what conservatives have to do. You have to fight
- 49:26Speaker 3: these battles and win them. And Corey DeAngelis, you are
- 49:28Speaker 3: very good at it. Thank you so much for your
- 49:30Speaker 3: time tonight, and that's it from May. We'll see you
- 49:34Speaker 3: tomorrow night at eleven. Up next, it's Newsnight.
