- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with her radio. It's time for an almost famous podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 1: It's the off season. So what do we get to do?
- 0:09Speaker 1: We get to talk about each other for a bit
- 0:12Speaker 1: and it's always really fun. Ashley, what's up, hey, Ben?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Let's talk about your Instagram this weekend? Yeah, being open
- 0:21Speaker 1: because you're like, oh, I got sunburnt, so I photoshop
- 0:24Speaker 1: myself right, and then you got ship because you photoshop
- 0:29Speaker 1: it looked like Jess was wearing white to somebody else's wedding.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I did. First off, people are crazy. Second off, that
- 0:37Speaker 1: was the bride's choice. Like it was a light blue.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It was a very light blue dress like in the
- 0:43Speaker 1: second and third photo. They aren't photo shop and they
- 0:46Speaker 1: still look kind of white. And people. I told Jess
- 0:49Speaker 1: last night, I said, Jess, people are blowing this up.
- 0:51Speaker 1: And she goes why. I said, because they think it
- 0:53Speaker 1: looks white. And she goes, what if the bride wanted
- 0:55Speaker 1: me to wear white? Is that okay for me to
- 0:57Speaker 1: wear white? And I said yes, So Jess was the
- 1:00Speaker 1: turn of honor and so like this was a choice. Um,
- 1:04Speaker 1: people like people are just wild. They just love to hate.
- 1:08Speaker 1: They do love to hate. My sister did the exact
- 1:10Speaker 1: same thing once. She wore a light blue dress to
- 1:14Speaker 1: a wedding. In person, it was very much light blue,
- 1:18Speaker 1: no confusion about that. But in pictures and like in
- 1:22Speaker 1: the actual like wedding photos, it did turn out white
- 1:26Speaker 1: and the bride got piss Yeah. Well, I don't think
- 1:31Speaker 1: this bride, this bride's not the time brad to get mad.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It was a beautiful wedding, though it was. We had.
- 1:36Speaker 1: The wedding was at Frederika Country Club in St. Simon's Island. Um.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Two things from this one. That island is wild. Oh
- 1:44Speaker 1: my gosh. My aunt and uncle got married on that
- 1:46Speaker 1: island in Georgia. Yeah, so pretty. You know, I was
- 1:50Speaker 1: there over fifteen years ago. Still have like a vivid memory.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Just the feel of the air. It's beautiful. And we
- 1:58Speaker 1: were playing golf. We played golf two days. Uh and
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh there is one golf course right next to the
- 2:03Speaker 1: private airport there on St. Simon's Island. Every ten minutes
- 2:06Speaker 1: of private jet flies in. So my question for the
- 2:08Speaker 1: audience is, how does so many people have so much money? Like,
- 2:11Speaker 1: how does that happen in this world? I don't get it. Uh.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Second off, I got really some burned. We had a
- 2:16Speaker 1: great day at the beach. Actually, I'll show you. I
- 2:18Speaker 1: don't think our listeners look at this. Yeah, you know,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you just have to get your first base of. And
- 2:27Speaker 1: that's a really bad dermatological advice. And I sure your
- 2:30Speaker 1: wife would tell you that, but you know it's the truth.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You know, you gotta burn one before you can get
- 2:36Speaker 1: to Yeah, some burns aren't fun. I've literally I felt
- 2:40Speaker 1: like everything I touched yesterday, uh like almost brought me
- 2:43Speaker 1: to my knees. I feel better today, thanks to my
- 2:45Speaker 1: wife and the alle I showered and then there was
- 2:49Speaker 1: alo and then Jessica like put cold packs on my
- 2:52Speaker 1: body because she knew like what to do. We made
- 2:55Speaker 1: it work. Feeling better today. But great wedding weekend, um
- 3:02Speaker 1: and miss miss the Pup. What did you do this weekend?
- 3:06Speaker 1: What did I do this weekend? It was pretty uneventful.
- 3:09Speaker 1: My baby cried a lot. That's that's pretty much what
- 3:14Speaker 1: happened this weekend. I wish that I could say that
- 3:16Speaker 1: something there was something exciting. Not so much. But we
- 3:20Speaker 1: did have our first karaoke night at Audrey's on Friday,
- 3:24Speaker 1: and that was a blast. First off, didn't know so
- 3:27Speaker 1: many people loved karaoke, like was packed and so many
- 3:32Speaker 1: people willing to do it. I'm just a little chicken.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm a little too embarrassed by my voice. I'll do
- 3:40Speaker 1: it eventually, but not open and willing. I'm gonna need
- 3:43Speaker 1: a lot of drinks. Well yeah, I was gonna say,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you know, you know when I do karaoke that I've
- 3:50Speaker 1: had a good night. Um, because there's only one way
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm getting on that stage, only one way. So next
- 3:57Speaker 1: time I'm going to need a d D and a babysitter.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That's right? Is this true? Did Dawson make his first
- 4:03Speaker 1: appearance to Audrey's this weekend? No, He's been there a ton.
- 4:07Speaker 1: He comes to every Wednesday Trivia night. The time there.
- 4:11Speaker 1: He loves being in public. It's really awesome because he's
- 4:14Speaker 1: actually on his best behavior when he's out. When he's home,
- 4:17Speaker 1: he gets bored and that's when he gets cranky. But
- 4:20Speaker 1: if he's out at a restaurant, he is smiling, he's
- 4:25Speaker 1: saying hello to everyone. It's really cool. I wondered because
- 4:28Speaker 1: I saw an Instagram where or TikTok. I don't know
- 4:31Speaker 1: what you guys, you kids are doing these days, but
- 4:34Speaker 1: Instagram real Yeah, where Jared had like a shirt on
- 4:37Speaker 1: with like a baby carrier and he's going around saying
- 4:38Speaker 1: hi to people and it just looked awesome. That's our
- 4:42Speaker 1: regular life. Yeah, there're a lot doing that, always hanging
- 4:46Speaker 1: around like a little monkey on our chest. You know
- 4:48Speaker 1: what else I realized this weekend, Ashley What there's a
- 4:50Speaker 1: big difference between thirty three and twenty six. Um, well,
- 4:55Speaker 1: yeah there are seven years and they are pretty much massive.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Seven years because was I was on the Bachelor, and
- 5:03Speaker 1: four is what about now? Well, because Jess's friends we
- 5:06Speaker 1: all say, in this big, old, beautiful house, fifteen of
- 5:09Speaker 1: us and I love her friends like they're friends of
- 5:11Speaker 1: mine now. But when it comes to like eleven pm,
- 5:15Speaker 1: those people have different ideas for how the night's gonna
- 5:18Speaker 1: end than I do. Like in my mind, I'm like
- 5:21Speaker 1: I've made it to eleven pm, I've done well, We've
- 5:24Speaker 1: had a great day, and their mind, they're like, this
- 5:26Speaker 1: day is just getting started. Like, um, that's one thing
- 5:30Speaker 1: I learned, And it's also one thing I learned that
- 5:33Speaker 1: like I just don't I don't recover well from lack
- 5:35Speaker 1: of sleep. It's not even drinking, it's lack of sleep. Uh,
- 5:39Speaker 1: if you're giving me six hours of sleep three days
- 5:41Speaker 1: in a row, this boy's gonna suffer. Well, can't wait
- 5:47Speaker 1: for you to enter her paras is not bad and
- 5:53Speaker 1: I've become I've always been a night owl. I've always
- 5:55Speaker 1: like had my creative juices roll a little bit better
- 5:59Speaker 1: at night. I'd like to do how stuff at night,
- 6:02Speaker 1: but even more so now because say he goes to
- 6:05Speaker 1: sleep at I know I'm I have him on a
- 6:07Speaker 1: bad sleep schedule because it's like our adult sleep schedule.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But he'll fall asleep between probably real like tennis, and
- 6:16Speaker 1: then I'll have three hours or so to do stuff
- 6:18Speaker 1: around the house and then, like I enjoyed that time,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that alone time to get things done from like ten
- 6:28Speaker 1: to one am, and then I'll feed him and then
- 6:31Speaker 1: he goes back to bed. So I'm a night owl
- 6:34Speaker 1: officially again. So like to bring it on. Oh my goodness. Well, hey, uh,
- 6:39Speaker 1: we have a lot of headlines for you today. That's
- 6:41Speaker 1: mostly what this podcast is gonna be up about. We
- 6:44Speaker 1: have a special episode with Matt James also out. It's
- 6:49Speaker 1: it's really really great talking about his new book, but
- 6:52Speaker 1: also a lot about Hey, he and Rachel and kind
- 6:55Speaker 1: of where they're in their relationship. But today we have
- 6:58Speaker 1: a lot of headlines to get through. We're gonna get
- 7:00Speaker 1: through him. Right after this break, it's time for Bachelor
- 7:12Speaker 1: headlines with our resident expert, Ashley I Kennetie Ashley. First
- 7:17Speaker 1: headline is this the Bachelor alum Shan Low jokes he
- 7:20Speaker 1: has a new favorite child. This according to US Weekly,
- 7:25Speaker 1: they just got a new puppy. If you guys follow
- 7:28Speaker 1: them on Instagram, you may know that they lost his
- 7:30Speaker 1: beloved Ellie in February. I cannot believe it's been over
- 7:35Speaker 1: a year. That's nuts. But he loved his dog so
- 7:38Speaker 1: much and that dog was with him through it all.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And now they just got a new puppy. And he
- 7:46Speaker 1: jokes that Mia, their daughter who's two, had a nice
- 7:49Speaker 1: two year old run. But now that run is over.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And he takes a picture of the new little pup.
- 7:57Speaker 1: He says, hello, say hello to my favorite new child. Guss.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Well there you go. I get what it's like to
- 8:05Speaker 1: get a puppy, and I get that it becomes your
- 8:07Speaker 1: favorite because well he's my only kid, but he is
- 8:10Speaker 1: my I talked to him all day. He doesn't ever
- 8:13Speaker 1: talk back. You didn't get the dog thing like a
- 8:16Speaker 1: couple of months ago, you know, whenever I was like,
- 8:18Speaker 1: look at the lowess like yeah yeah, Lois, And now
- 8:22Speaker 1: you do the same thing. Damn every morning. What a buddy,
- 8:26Speaker 1: You look at me right now as I did. He knows,
- 8:29Speaker 1: he knows. Hey, this is this is more of a
- 8:34Speaker 1: headline than the story leads on Bachelor Lum's Kelly Fan
- 8:37Speaker 1: again in Victoria, Fuller throws shade to ex Peter Webber
- 8:41Speaker 1: at Coachella. This according to US Weekly as well, Okay,
- 8:45Speaker 1: this is this is a little shady, but I guess
- 8:47Speaker 1: it's not super direct. Yeah you know what I mean,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Like you might be you might be stretching it to
- 8:55Speaker 1: say it's throwing shade at Peter Webber, because this is
- 8:59Speaker 1: what happened. The two of them took pictures at Coachella
- 9:02Speaker 1: in front of a dumpster or a few dumpsters, and
- 9:07Speaker 1: the caption said, look, we ran into our exes at Coachella,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and it's like, okay, but that could have been anyone
- 9:17Speaker 1: if it was towards Peter, and there's a high likelihood
- 9:20Speaker 1: that it that it was. It is a little bit like,
- 9:23Speaker 1: oh wow, wow, she went there. Uh huh. It's a
- 9:29Speaker 1: it's something they're still thinking about it. Uh, this is
- 9:33Speaker 1: a more positive headline. Thomas Jacobs opens up about his
- 9:37Speaker 1: plans to proposed to Becca Kouffrin. This according to Bachelor Nation,
- 9:41Speaker 1: do you love how open they are about it, Like
- 9:43Speaker 1: they're gonna get engaged one day, they're getting married. It's
- 9:47Speaker 1: pretty cool. Well, he says that he doesn't have a
- 9:51Speaker 1: full plan yet. Obviously he's planning. He says, I know
- 9:56Speaker 1: it's gonna be small and intimate. I'll have a photographer.
- 9:59Speaker 1: But the last thing I want Rebecca is to have
- 10:01Speaker 1: another grand spectacle. That's so true. Think about that, She's
- 10:05Speaker 1: gotten engaged on t v R twice, so she doesn't
- 10:08Speaker 1: need a grand spectacle. He said. I want this to
- 10:12Speaker 1: be a special moment just for us. I want to
- 10:15Speaker 1: just be able to enjoy that moment the way that
- 10:18Speaker 1: we want to. That's one of the one of the
- 10:20Speaker 1: biggest blessings we've had in our relationship. Um. As far
- 10:24Speaker 1: as planning, UM, what's given me any ideas? Um? Well,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm very well aware that she wants this is he's
- 10:32Speaker 1: talking about her ring that she wants an elongated cushion
- 10:36Speaker 1: cut diamond. I'm aware that she wants it to be
- 10:39Speaker 1: very large, and he says, am I aware, um that
- 10:45Speaker 1: I have one in whoa wait? Sorry. The things that
- 10:51Speaker 1: I realized while reading quotes this say, is am I
- 10:55Speaker 1: aware if I have one in the safety lock box
- 10:59Speaker 1: in my head room. I don't know. Time will tell.
- 11:04Speaker 1: We'll have to find that one out later this year.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Have the ring. That's amazing cool. Well, I mean it's
- 11:17Speaker 1: special too, because Becca has a special place in my heart.
- 11:20Speaker 1: We obviously hosted that tour together a couple of years ago,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and she just finished the tour. Actually she had another
- 11:25Speaker 1: great run with a Sydney taco. Um, and uh, I'm
- 11:30Speaker 1: very proud of them. Uh, they just crushed it again.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I mean, it's so awesome. But she's very happy, and
- 11:37Speaker 1: that's awesome. Um, very happy, So big for them. Big news, Well,
- 11:43Speaker 1: Bachelor's Colton Underwood and fiance Jordan's c Brown jetted off
- 11:47Speaker 1: to Mexico to celebrate their engagement. Yes, the guys went
- 11:52Speaker 1: to the Four Seasons puta Meta resort for a week
- 11:56Speaker 1: in early April, alongside some of their closest friends. Um.
- 12:01Speaker 1: They are apparently big fans at this Mexican hotel. Um.
- 12:05Speaker 1: They made time just for themselves the private dinner. Um,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and they had you know, if you really want to
- 12:11Speaker 1: know what they hated a dinner they had beat salad,
- 12:14Speaker 1: poached lobster, and cheeseca. Do we care? Why do we care?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Why is there an article about this? And? Um? They
- 12:23Speaker 1: were also surprised by an appearance by a mariachi band
- 12:27Speaker 1: during this dinner. They played a few songs for them,
- 12:30Speaker 1: and then their friends came in and joined to sing,
- 12:32Speaker 1: dance and celebrate. Yeah, this is like wow, last weekly.
- 12:37Speaker 1: You know, sometimes things aren't really a headline. I was
- 12:40Speaker 1: gonna say, nobody's at I mean, maybe just shows where
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm at life compared to Cold. But ain't nobody caring
- 12:47Speaker 1: what I'm eating for dinner night? I mean, I think
- 12:49Speaker 1: it's going to be left over post. If anybody does
- 12:52Speaker 1: care with a salad that was made for lunch, hey,
- 12:57Speaker 1: you know I do, But I do get curious. I'll
- 13:00Speaker 1: ask my sister. She calls me like nine pm. I'm like, so,
- 13:02Speaker 1: what you have for dinner? I mean, that's cool, but
- 13:05Speaker 1: I don't really care what Colton made for dinner. I
- 13:09Speaker 1: don't know, not if I can't talk to him about
- 13:12Speaker 1: like the butter that was the lobster. Dear dear Evans,
- 13:16Speaker 1: Will they celebrate their engagement? Good for them? Hey, Also,
- 13:19Speaker 1: congratulations to our podcast guest this week, Matt James. He
- 13:23Speaker 1: sets a personal record after running Boston Marathon. I wish
- 13:27Speaker 1: we were able to talk to him about this. You
- 13:29Speaker 1: know that I'm always so mind boggled when people are
- 13:31Speaker 1: able to run marathons. Um But he says that the
- 13:36Speaker 1: running has been really beneficial for him, and he revealed
- 13:40Speaker 1: that running was a way for him to take care
- 13:42Speaker 1: of his mental health. He said that exercise has kept
- 13:45Speaker 1: his head in the right place and helped him deal
- 13:47Speaker 1: with everything that's happened since. But the main part of
- 13:52Speaker 1: this is his personal record. Right, he did the marathon
- 13:56Speaker 1: in just over three hours and forty nine So three hours,
- 14:01Speaker 1: that's so inferessive. Ben, What is your mile per you know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: minute ratio? Oh my, I mean not this, but I
- 14:11Speaker 1: ran an half marathon and I averaged seven minutes in
- 14:15Speaker 1: ten seconds for the half, which is that's incredible to
- 14:19Speaker 1: you know what I used to run in high school.
- 14:21Speaker 1: It was like eight thirty on a good day for
- 14:25Speaker 1: how many miles? Well, we were forced to run two
- 14:30Speaker 1: and a half miles in twenty minutes to get an A,
- 14:33Speaker 1: and it was two miles and a quarter to get
- 14:35Speaker 1: a B, and then it would be a yeah maybe
- 14:41Speaker 1: that one time that was not I'm telling you that
- 14:43Speaker 1: wasn't typical. I got an A in gym class, but
- 14:46Speaker 1: not in that particular you know event. Oh well your
- 14:50Speaker 1: name in my book and you worked out just fine.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Hey Ashley, Uh, super interesting feedback from Coachella this year.
- 15:08Speaker 1: You know, there were stories of side parties outside of
- 15:13Speaker 1: Coachella kind of turning into firefast. I don't even know buses,
- 15:19Speaker 1: Yeah I did. I read a bunch of articles. Busses
- 15:21Speaker 1: couldn't get to the pickup location and so people stood
- 15:24Speaker 1: out in the sun without water food for hours waiting
- 15:27Speaker 1: for busses that never showed up, or if they did
- 15:29Speaker 1: show up, they were packed out. Um. It just ended
- 15:33Speaker 1: up being kind of a mess. Now, people did make
- 15:35Speaker 1: it to the Revolved party and it sounded like it
- 15:37Speaker 1: was awesome. We saw Instagram videos from those. Um, but
- 15:41Speaker 1: people are kind of making fun of it because you know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: there was videos where people were like, I'm an influencer.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I have this fower posted that and I couldn't believe
- 15:50Speaker 1: are an influencer. Influencers are allowed in. Yeah, it's it
- 15:54Speaker 1: was ridiculous. Um. But anyways, Coachella, you know, for as
- 15:59Speaker 1: much people to make fun of it, people also like
- 16:02Speaker 1: to attend it and go to it. It It looks like
- 16:03Speaker 1: a lot of fun. But Nick Vile, Brie Springs, and
- 16:06Speaker 1: Hannah Godwin and more Bachelor Nations stars attended Coachella in
- 16:11Speaker 1: style this year. That's according to Bachelor Nation. Well but Ben,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you said it looks like a lot of fun. You
- 16:16Speaker 1: know that doesn't look like a lot of fun to you. No,
- 16:19Speaker 1: not to me, No, not to me. I'm pretty good.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I've never been. It looks amiss to me. But the
- 16:26Speaker 1: outfits are amazing. And shout out to Nick and his
- 16:31Speaker 1: girlfriend and Brief Springs and Hannah Godwin for having and
- 16:36Speaker 1: Katie Thurston and Dylan Barber and all the Bachelor and
- 16:40Speaker 1: Amandistan and like everybody who went and looked amazing. Like
- 16:44Speaker 1: I do really joy seeing all the pretty pictures and
- 16:47Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, I could never look that cool. I mean,
- 16:49Speaker 1: that's why I don't like going is because I just
- 16:51Speaker 1: know if I win, I tried to dress cool, I
- 16:52Speaker 1: would look like a fool. Could you imagine me? And
- 16:55Speaker 1: Jared going there and like whearing hippie clothes. It just
- 16:57Speaker 1: wouldn't work for us. No, that's just not it's not
- 17:00Speaker 1: our thing here. Actually, it's not what we're like. It's
- 17:03Speaker 1: not what makes us feel most alive, and so as
- 17:05Speaker 1: a result, we don't do it. But I was watching
- 17:08Speaker 1: the Instagram videos at time, getting envious and jealous honestly
- 17:11Speaker 1: of them there, and then and then it would hit
- 17:13Speaker 1: me It's like, yeah, but if I was there, that
- 17:15Speaker 1: means I had to travel there and stand in the
- 17:17Speaker 1: heat there and listen to really love music there and
- 17:20Speaker 1: be up for hours and people on drugs and then
- 17:24Speaker 1: like um, not being able to get an uber and
- 17:27Speaker 1: then like wanting to drive but not having a place
- 17:30Speaker 1: to park, and then having to walk two miles in
- 17:32Speaker 1: the heat and then all that dust being swept into
- 17:36Speaker 1: your lungs and you know, yeah, so then then then
- 17:39Speaker 1: I come back to reality. They're just jealous they weren't invited. No,
- 17:43Speaker 1: that's fair too well. I mean there's a moment where
- 17:46Speaker 1: I was jealous that we weren't there, and then like
- 17:49Speaker 1: I said, reality hit and I was like, no, I'm
- 17:51Speaker 1: pretty good, pretty good, you know what I'm jealous of?
- 17:55Speaker 1: I'm jealous. I am jealous of the fact that like
- 17:58Speaker 1: fashion brands don't look at me and be like, you
- 18:00Speaker 1: know what, she's cool. She would look really cool in
- 18:03Speaker 1: our clothes. Like that makes me like a little sad.
- 18:06Speaker 1: It makes me sad too, but hey, I'll get over it. Uh.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Mari Peppin shares a wedding planning update for her and Kenny.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It's a big day, they say, this is exciting. Yeah,
- 18:19Speaker 1: so they took a trip or their wedding planning. They
- 18:23Speaker 1: took a wedding planning trip to Puerto Rico for inspiration.
- 18:28Speaker 1: She says, they don't have a date yet, um, but
- 18:31Speaker 1: the trip was all about getting the process started getting
- 18:33Speaker 1: ideas and she said she has so many ideas now.
- 18:36Speaker 1: She said, I thought I had so many ideas just
- 18:38Speaker 1: because my Pinterest bore But now I know what colors
- 18:42Speaker 1: to use and the cake and everything like that. And
- 18:45Speaker 1: as for Kenny's role, Mari says, he's involved, but he's
- 18:49Speaker 1: letting her really make her vision come to life. Again.
- 18:53Speaker 1: There isn't a date yet, but they have a few
- 18:56Speaker 1: ideas sorted out. But like where it's gonna take place? Um,
- 19:00Speaker 1: They agreed that they will get married in Puerto Rico
- 19:03Speaker 1: because she has a lot of family there, her grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, everyone.
- 19:07Speaker 1: She says, um, so they haven't narrowed down to four venues,
- 19:13Speaker 1: but they haven't been able to see them all in
- 19:15Speaker 1: person yet, just through pictures online. So these are the
- 19:18Speaker 1: things that they had to get off the checklist. What
- 19:21Speaker 1: a what a special day love story coming from Bachelor
- 19:24Speaker 1: in Paradise. Well, uh, one of the women that I
- 19:28Speaker 1: was on The Bachelor with, Amanda Stanton, has recently opened
- 19:31Speaker 1: up about why she doesn't discuss her daughter's dad publicly. Yeah. So,
- 19:36Speaker 1: Amanda was actually on our Mother's Day podcast last week
- 19:39Speaker 1: and she talks a little bit about the girls, of
- 19:41Speaker 1: course because it's Mother's Day and how much they matured.
- 19:44Speaker 1: It was Kinsley's tenth birthday this weekend, but she doesn't
- 19:48Speaker 1: really talk about the dad, their dad, and that is
- 19:51Speaker 1: obviously very respectable. She says, I avoid these questions because
- 19:54Speaker 1: I've never I've mentioned anything in the past. It always
- 19:57Speaker 1: tends to get picked up by the media, and that's
- 20:00Speaker 1: not what I want. It's conflicting because I have so
- 20:03Speaker 1: much to say about what I've gone through and what
- 20:05Speaker 1: I've learned that I know I could truly, I could
- 20:09Speaker 1: truly help people by explaining what I've gone through, especially
- 20:14Speaker 1: single parents. Um, but I have to do as best
- 20:16Speaker 1: with my girls always and protect my piece, which is
- 20:20Speaker 1: really important to me these days. So she says that
- 20:24Speaker 1: that's basically why she doesn't talk about any of the
- 20:27Speaker 1: relationship that she has with the ex husband, And she said,
- 20:30Speaker 1: the last time I vaguely answered a question about it,
- 20:33Speaker 1: like if we have a relationship was over two years ago,
- 20:36Speaker 1: and I just said something along the lines of no,
- 20:38Speaker 1: we don't, and I don't think we ever will. And
- 20:40Speaker 1: that still holds true. Um, I'm genuinely rooting for him,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and I hope it can change one day. Um, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: for anybody in a similar situation, she says, I just
- 20:49Speaker 1: hope that you know you're not alone and I'm sending
- 20:51Speaker 1: you so much love. So obviously, like she has a
- 20:54Speaker 1: little bit of a relationship to the point where like
- 20:56Speaker 1: she needs to switch the girls off when they go
- 20:58Speaker 1: to their dads and stuff, but there's no like friendship there. Well, um,
- 21:03Speaker 1: some questions answered. I know people have wondered about that.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But it's also great on Amanda to keep her private
- 21:09Speaker 1: life private and to share with US public people. What
- 21:13Speaker 1: she wants to share with US public people. Well, last
- 21:17Speaker 1: headline of a day something, UM and somebody that went
- 21:20Speaker 1: public recently with their relationship, Hannah Ann. You might remember
- 21:24Speaker 1: her from Peter season of The Bachelor, So bachel Nations.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Hannah and reveals what her parents think of new boyfriend
- 21:32Speaker 1: Jake Funk, who is a football player for the Los
- 21:34Speaker 1: Angeles Rams. Yeah, they came out about their relationship on
- 21:38Speaker 1: Super Bowl Sunday, so that was pretty cool. She says
- 21:41Speaker 1: that now they've he's met, They've met the parents. I've
- 21:45Speaker 1: met his parents, who said, And then the next week, Um,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I had my parents come out from Tennessee. They made
- 21:52Speaker 1: the trip to California and they met him. Um. And
- 21:56Speaker 1: then his parents all also came out and they met
- 22:00Speaker 1: the same day. It was really fun. She said. They
- 22:03Speaker 1: adore him and they think that he's such a great
- 22:05Speaker 1: fit for her and Um. She said that he will
- 22:09Speaker 1: get to see her country upbringing, which will be really
- 22:12Speaker 1: fun when she does take him home to Tennessee for
- 22:16Speaker 1: a visit this summer. She says that she and Jake
- 22:20Speaker 1: Um have a common vision for their future. She doesn't
- 22:23Speaker 1: want to change anything about him. She says that he's
- 22:26Speaker 1: her best friend and they truly just enjoy being around
- 22:29Speaker 1: each other. And she's also said that she's uh m hmm.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And she also said she's making all the efforts to
- 22:39Speaker 1: get acquainted with his world, his football world, and uh
- 22:42Speaker 1: he's teaching her all about the scoring rules of NFL
- 22:46Speaker 1: games so she'll be more of a fan. She said
- 22:50Speaker 1: she grew up in the South, where it was all
- 22:52Speaker 1: about college football versus NFL, and she went to her
- 22:57Speaker 1: first NFL game when they just first started dating. You've
- 23:00Speaker 1: never been to an NFL game before, so like, yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 1: that's pretty crazy. It's so funny. I'm so far removed
- 23:05Speaker 1: from college football, Like I just I don't know anything
- 23:07Speaker 1: about college football, but I love my NFL. It's all
- 23:10Speaker 1: about where you grew up. Yeah, but it scored the same,
- 23:13Speaker 1: so you learn, Well, what she means here is she
- 23:16Speaker 1: doesn't mean scored like you know what a touchdown is,
- 23:19Speaker 1: you know six points. What she means is um like
- 23:22Speaker 1: NFL overtime rules. I think, well, hey, I mean that's great,
- 23:26Speaker 1: but once you learn one, you learn both, and so
- 23:30Speaker 1: you just it's kind of one of those things that's
- 23:31Speaker 1: really beneficial for everybody learned this is football rules. Um yeah, well, hey,
- 23:36Speaker 1: that's all the headlines we have for you today. Again,
- 23:38Speaker 1: go out and listen to Matt James's episode that's already out.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It's it's a very special episode with a former bachelor
- 23:45Speaker 1: talking about his book and ABC Food Tours and his
- 23:47Speaker 1: relationship with Rachel and everything they got going on. Also, Ashley,
