Grapevine Welcomes New K9 Officer Atlas | Texas News
Grapevine’s police force just welcomed a new four-legged hero: Atlas, a Dutch Shepherd sworn in on July 1st, already trained for explosive detection and suspect apprehension. Joining him is Thor, a Belgian Malinois handling narcotics and arrests. The city council approved Atlas’ purchase back in February, highlighting the intensive training required to prepare these K9s for duty.
