Holiday Bonus Episode - Commish's Corner: The Kangaroo Kicker

The Sickos Committee Podcast · Dec 26, 2023 · 23m

We're taking a break from recording while we're scattered, so as a holiday gift, we bring you an episode of our Patreon-only podcast Commish's Corner! In this series, Commish brings you the wildest stories of college football he can find that don't quite fit in our usual format.

This time, he's telling the story of an Australian punter so famous he had to go into hiding... in the early 1900s.

Pat O'Dea, the Kangaroo Kicker, was Wisconsin's most famous player of the late 1890s and went on to coach Notre Dame. He also drop kicked a ball 60 yards in the snow.
