- 0:25Speaker 1: like it, can you color in some more cash? I
- 0:28Speaker 1: don't know. Million tells there's real people in cases.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Thank Justice.
- 0:34Speaker 1: This is Yo gab go go see you over there.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You're doing that thing and you're gabbling real good gabling. Yeah, Hello, everybody,
- 0:49Speaker 1: Welcome to Yo Gabble Gavel. It's great to be back.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Stuff evely, Yo gavel gaveled Shamber. We were a live
- 0:56Speaker 1: last time. I know.
- 0:57Speaker 2: As much fun as that is, it feels home here
- 0:59Speaker 2: in the chamber.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Judge Brand Judge Judge. Yeah, I actually would love to
- 1:04Speaker 3: do the show live every time.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It would be amazing. That's great, that's a dream.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Now, I will say I'm going to do a spoiler
- 1:10Speaker 1: alert that today's episode, at least my case not nearly
- 1:14Speaker 1: as good as Team JJ and the weird sex court
- 1:18Speaker 1: he had.
- 1:18Speaker 2: The snake case last time was really good, but this
- 1:21Speaker 2: case is a hum ding. You think you got a
- 1:22Speaker 2: home dinger. It's it is something.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So now he said, do we get my color care
- 1:28Speaker 1: color case.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I got to back clean up. Okay, it's a It's
- 1:31Speaker 2: care color.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Uh click. I want to introduce you to We're going
- 1:35Speaker 1: to the people's court. This court is the people's Yeah. Look,
- 1:40Speaker 1: a lot of people think that is a lot of
- 1:42Speaker 1: people think that it's millions court below that would be
- 1:46Speaker 1: that would be actually incorrect. This is the people's court,
- 1:50Speaker 1: so it's not millions. Even though she has the final say,
- 1:54Speaker 1: ultimately it belongs to the people.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It belongs to the people. Give it back to this
- 1:58Speaker 2: just people.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Deborah Ostrella. Deborah Ostrella is suing Michelle no last name,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Michelle Nola.
- 2:08Speaker 2: So she related to Tracy.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Sorry, I can see why you would think that because
- 2:12Speaker 1: of Tracy's last name. Is no last name, Michelle did
- 2:14Speaker 1: not use her, didn't give one, okay, so she just Michelle,
- 2:18Speaker 1: just Michelle. Deborah suing Michelle for seven hundred and forty
- 2:22Speaker 1: dollars or doll hairs. Six hundred and fifty of that
- 2:27Speaker 1: is for color and ninety of that is for new color.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Uh So Debrah, prior to going to see Michelle, had
- 2:40Speaker 1: an idea she wanted now best I can figure, she
- 2:44Speaker 1: wanted her her hair. It's you know, you've seen long
- 2:48Speaker 1: hair before, Dan.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I've seen long hair.
- 2:53Speaker 1: So she wanted this part to be black, okay, and
- 2:57Speaker 1: then it to get lights down here.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah okay.
- 3:01Speaker 1: So she decided what she was going to do as
- 3:04Speaker 1: she was going to bleach.
- 3:06Speaker 2: The bottom of the bottom of that. So it's a
- 3:08Speaker 2: tricky mistress.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That is a tricky mistress. Much she did, it did
- 3:13Speaker 1: not turn out good. She did not like that. The
- 3:16Speaker 1: bleach just kind of made her hair orange orange reddish, man,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and it just looked real bad. And so she heard
- 3:26Speaker 1: good things about Michelle, And I want to make this
- 3:30Speaker 1: abundantly clear, I would go to Michelle. Her hair is impossible.
- 3:36Speaker 1: She's got like really nice curly hair like me, obviously longer,
- 3:39Speaker 1: but it's also like silver, which is something I want.
- 3:43Speaker 1: So like, she's kind of my dream.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You know, you always do the gray that you talk
- 3:47Speaker 3: to me about the great thing, and like silver hair
- 3:50Speaker 3: works for you. Gray hair, I think would be a mistake.
- 3:52Speaker 3: I don't know how you get it to the silver
- 3:53Speaker 3: you want it though.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yeah, guys, I'm thinking about doing it.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Do it, man, just do it.
- 3:58Speaker 1: What I've thought about doing is hiring someone to come
- 4:01Speaker 1: during the marathon. Oh my gosh, to do it during
- 4:04Speaker 1: the marath that's out of your own pocket, do you
- 4:06Speaker 1: think so? You don't think that's a good bit. You
- 4:09Speaker 1: don't think it's worth the bitch money?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Is that?
- 4:11Speaker 1: I have no okay idea, Okay, how much can I
- 4:14Speaker 1: what's my budget to one hundred dollars? Boy, that's touch.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I have a feeling, real, I have a feeling it's
- 4:20Speaker 1: going to have a feeling it's not going to turn
- 4:22Speaker 1: out good. So anyway, Michelle is great, and she hears
- 4:26Speaker 1: Michelle's great. So she gives Michelle a call and Michelle
- 4:28Speaker 1: is like, all right, you got to come in in
- 4:30Speaker 1: order for me to give you a price. You gotta
- 4:31Speaker 1: come in. I gotta see what I'm working.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, So she.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Good gets in there, and Michelle says, to do what
- 4:36Speaker 1: you want to do, and to do it well, it's
- 4:39Speaker 1: going to be six hundred and fifty dollars over the
- 4:42Speaker 1: course of two sessions.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Two sessions.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Okay, she sounds really familiar, as I promise it's it
- 4:48Speaker 1: was just uploaded to you. Okay, all right, you have
- 4:51Speaker 1: done a hair case before, but it's not that I
- 4:53Speaker 1: had two sessions too. So she explains that it's gonna
- 4:56Speaker 1: be six fifty over two sessions and that basically, if
- 5:00Speaker 1: what you want, I can I can do this, and
- 5:02Speaker 1: Michelle says, yes, I did say that what I need
- 5:06Speaker 1: to do is called corrective coloring Dan corrective.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Come with you.
- 5:12Speaker 1: The goal is to get you the style, the color
- 5:16Speaker 1: that you want without damaging your hair more. And this
- 5:18Speaker 1: is important because she's already damaged her hair pretty badly.
- 5:22Speaker 1: She's abused her hair. She's a hair abuser, hair abuser.
- 5:26Speaker 1: She's a hair abuser, hair abuser. So uh, she has
- 5:33Speaker 1: a system of doing this. So the hair was orange red,
- 5:38Speaker 1: and she's like, we need to lighten it over multiple
- 5:42Speaker 1: colorings so that it will eventually look right. So for
- 5:45Speaker 1: the first session, it was seven hours of consistently applying
- 5:50Speaker 1: color over and over and over again, lighter and lighter
- 5:54Speaker 1: and lighter. So Deborah says that she gets up after
- 6:00Speaker 1: the session and it's the first time she saw her
- 6:03Speaker 1: hair because apparently Michelle explains that when she's doing a
- 6:08Speaker 1: case like this where the hair is all jacked up,
- 6:10Speaker 1: messed up, the process isn't pretty. So she doesn't let
- 6:13Speaker 1: you see yourself in a mirror until the end, because
- 6:17Speaker 1: she doesn't want you freaking out during it. Well, she
- 6:21Speaker 1: is not happy with the way that it looks.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I see pictures of it, and I think she looks
- 6:25Speaker 1: pretty good. You think it looks great. It's not my hair.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It is like, you know, there's most different colors going
- 6:32Speaker 1: on here, like it's it's a few different colors. But
- 6:34Speaker 1: I think it looks pretty neat. I think it looks
- 6:36Speaker 1: neat personally, obviously, way way better than what she had
- 6:39Speaker 1: going for her, which was like a straight line down
- 6:42Speaker 1: her hair where it just turned to orange orange. Yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but she wasn't happy. But Michelle says that when Deborah left,
- 6:50Speaker 1: she said that she liked it, but that she came
- 6:52Speaker 1: in the next day she said she didn't like it,
- 6:54Speaker 1: and Deborah said, no, I told her that it doesn't
- 6:56Speaker 1: look like how I wanted it to look, and she
- 6:58Speaker 1: explained that I would have to come back tomorrow to
- 7:01Speaker 1: fix it. And Michelle says that Debora came back the
- 7:04Speaker 1: next day and she explained to her that she has
- 7:07Speaker 1: to come to the second session. It won't make it
- 7:10Speaker 1: look the way that we that you want it to look.
- 7:13Speaker 1: The reason why it looks the way that it does
- 7:15Speaker 1: is because there's a history of abuse of your hair.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You're a hair abuser. I don't know if you've heard.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You're a hair abuse and so we need to do
- 7:24Speaker 1: some stuff, and she says. Deborah says, I didn't trust
- 7:28Speaker 1: Michelle because she didn't get my hair to look presentable
- 7:32Speaker 1: after the first session. I have a job. I work
- 7:34Speaker 1: as a bank teller. I can't go I can't go
- 7:37Speaker 1: in there looking a mess. I'm a bank teller. You
- 7:41Speaker 1: gotta look professional. You can't be a bank teller with
- 7:43Speaker 1: two different colors of hair. She had multiple, did lots
- 7:47Speaker 1: of different different shades of order and put it. But
- 7:51Speaker 1: you can put her hair out for one day. She
- 7:54Speaker 1: doesn't think so. So she would like all of the
- 7:56Speaker 1: money back, six hundred and fifty dollars, and then she
- 7:59Speaker 1: would like another ninety dollars so she could go get
- 8:01Speaker 1: it colored somewhere else.
- 8:02Speaker 2: No, not a time.
- 8:04Speaker 3: She told her to come to a second session. She
- 8:06Speaker 3: didn't do it. That's pretty straightforward, right like that. It
- 8:10Speaker 3: didn't take a law degree to figure this one out.
- 8:13Speaker 3: The hairdresser said it would take two sessions. You went
- 8:15Speaker 3: to one. Jokes on you Taste the rainbow. What do
- 8:19Speaker 3: you got jokes on? You taste the rainbows?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Exactly right, she says, Million explains that you didn't come
- 8:25Speaker 1: back for the second session. Can't say that they did
- 8:27Speaker 1: anything wrong if you don't let them finished the proscribed
- 8:31Speaker 1: process to if after two sessions you still didn't like it,
- 8:35Speaker 1: then maybe you'd have a case. But you didn't even
- 8:37Speaker 1: come back for the second session. So for that reason,
- 8:40Speaker 1: no money for you. Taste the rainbow. Taste the rainbow.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Taste the rainbow.
- 8:44Speaker 2: That's the key. You get what you get.
- 8:46Speaker 1: That's exactly right, man.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a real barn burner, Brian. It was
- 8:49Speaker 3: thank you very much. It was good stuff.
- 8:51Speaker 1: The title was great, the thumbnail was great. First minute
- 8:56Speaker 1: wasn't intriguing, but then it got boring real quick.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Well, when you gallole you gavel comes down in your
- 9:02Speaker 2: favorite of good Dina golf course.
- 9:04Speaker 3: All right, you ready, Yeah, Diana Rhodes, this is in
- 9:08Speaker 3: the intro, This is in the the first sentence out
- 9:12Speaker 3: of the narrator's mouth. Is this Diana Rhodes ad mitts
- 9:16Speaker 3: she's a cougar. Fantastic, right, So we know we're in
- 9:20Speaker 3: for a good case. Immediately I'd say Diana Rhodes is
- 9:23Speaker 3: suing Ruben Rocha for three thousand dollars for money.
- 9:28Speaker 2: She owes him for a car, he owes her for
- 9:31Speaker 2: a car.
- 9:31Speaker 3: He is countersuing Diana for two thousand dollars in harassment
- 9:37Speaker 3: for harassment. Now, I typically don't do the thing where
- 9:41Speaker 3: I describe what people look like in their demographic It
- 9:45Speaker 3: is very important for the sake.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Of you picturing what goes on in this courtroom. It's wild.
- 9:50Speaker 3: They're Canadian, yes, and I didn't want to say it
- 9:53Speaker 3: out loud with their Canadian heartsy uh. Diana Rhodes is
- 9:58Speaker 3: a probably five foot two like older. She's borderline senior citizen,
- 10:06Speaker 3: white woman, okay, glasses, white hair.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I know one of them.
- 10:11Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, she yes, she very much looks like
- 10:14Speaker 2: like our.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Mom's everyone's she's everyone's mom or nana.
- 10:17Speaker 2: That's right.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That's white.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 10:19Speaker 3: It's a bit, it's a it's you know, she's basically
- 10:21Speaker 3: in her her sixties and.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Just you know, cardigan sweater whole bit.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Maybe a scoch of racism. But who doesn't, well rubin,
- 10:30Speaker 1: oh is that going to play in here?
- 10:31Speaker 2: No?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Well, she does like Latin guys. Ruben, it looks like
- 10:37Speaker 3: if Kyle Mooney I know him. It was about three
- 10:41Speaker 3: shades darker, put his hair in a ponytail, gained forty
- 10:45Speaker 3: pounds and got a little, a little barely etched in goateee.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Fantastic. I love this guy.
- 10:49Speaker 3: He's wearing all black, got a ponytail. Apparently he is Latin.
- 10:53Speaker 3: He's white passing, but he is Latin. Last night I
- 10:56Speaker 3: saw white passing life.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's a lot of us have.
- 11:00Speaker 3: So Diana starts in. She says, Judge, Judge matthis first things. First,
- 11:07Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of yours. I watch you every day.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Fantastic.
- 11:10Speaker 2: He says, that's why she that's why she picked her
- 11:12Speaker 2: of his show. Probably, She says.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Second thing, I'm a cougar and I love younger men love.
- 11:19Speaker 2: And this point matthis Mathis.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Has so many bits in this in this episode, like
- 11:24Speaker 3: I can't even do them all justice.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I'm not gonna try it. But he's like, all right.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Nothing wrong with that, okay, And he says, well, the
- 11:32Speaker 3: defendants a younger man, and she goes, yes, he is.
- 11:38Speaker 3: He says, were you all involved with each other? And
- 11:41Speaker 3: she says, yes, we were. Ruben immediately says, your own
- 11:44Speaker 3: and that's a lie. Oh wow, that's a want anything
- 11:47Speaker 3: to do with her. Diana says, no, it is not
- 11:50Speaker 3: who would not want all of this? She love her,
- 11:54Speaker 3: love her. She is one of a kind, one of
- 11:57Speaker 3: a kind who would not want all of this. Judge
- 12:00Speaker 3: matthis grimaces. It is a full shocked is like I've
- 12:08Speaker 3: never seen anything quite like. That's good, Ruben says, First
- 12:11Speaker 3: of all, she's living in a fantasy land.
- 12:14Speaker 2: She's into young Latin guys.
- 12:15Speaker 3: As soon as she met me, she was talking poppy this,
- 12:18Speaker 3: poppy that, and matthis. Hears poppy this, poppy that and goes,
- 12:22Speaker 3: hold on, you're Latin, and he goes yeah, and he goes,
- 12:29Speaker 3: you're all so younger. And at this point the audience claps.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Ruben like shakes his head and like hangs it in shame.
- 12:37Speaker 3: He says, look, I work at a restaurant. I'm a server.
- 12:40Speaker 3: She was in the restaurant. She was reading a novel
- 12:43Speaker 3: and I'm very into reading. This is a real follow
- 12:48Speaker 3: up pool Boy situation. I'm really into reading. So we
- 12:51Speaker 3: talked about reading a bit. Judge Mathis is trying not
- 12:55Speaker 3: to laugh. His face is priceless. He's trying to be serious.
- 12:59Speaker 3: It's really really hard. Diana's like, that's not what happened.
- 13:02Speaker 3: We flirted. We flirted a lot. You know it, I
- 13:04Speaker 3: know it, we both know it. Ruben's like, we did
- 13:07Speaker 3: not flirt. I'm just very friendly. I'm friendly. We were
- 13:11Speaker 3: talking about reading. I'm the server and Mathison then pops
- 13:14Speaker 3: in immediately, so you served her up?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Bye, he's I mean, he's got jokes.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Ruben's like, look, when she left, she left her phone
- 13:24Speaker 3: number on the ticket. She was really friendly, and I figured,
- 13:27Speaker 3: you know what, you can never have too many friends,
- 13:32Speaker 3: you can. You can never have too many friends, you know,
- 13:35Speaker 3: And so I took her phone.
- 13:36Speaker 1: And not everybody likes books, not everybody likes to read,
- 13:40Speaker 1: that's true.
- 13:41Speaker 3: So I took her phone number, and I mean, and
- 13:43Speaker 3: he stopped at her. I mean, He's like, but I
- 13:44Speaker 3: never had sex with her. And then Matthews says, so
- 13:48Speaker 3: you called her, and he goes, yeah, yeah, we were friends.
- 13:50Speaker 2: That's it.
- 13:51Speaker 1: He goes, how long were you friends? He says, seven
- 13:53Speaker 1: or eight months.
- 13:55Speaker 3: We would hang out, we'd go get lunch a few times,
- 13:58Speaker 3: we hung out at the park, shoots pool together. Nothing serious,
- 14:02Speaker 3: just a really good friendship.
- 14:03Speaker 1: So you're telling me that this woman who starts a
- 14:05Speaker 1: conversation with I, like younger men, never made a move
- 14:09Speaker 1: on this fellow in eight months, so you're ready for this.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Mathis goes, how old are you?
- 14:13Speaker 3: So we find out both of their ages. Reuben is
- 14:16Speaker 3: thirty five, she's sixty two.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Okay, that's not bad.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Twenty seven years so Mathis goes, all right, almost twice
- 14:25Speaker 3: his age. Woman comes to your employment, drops her number, says,
- 14:28Speaker 3: give me a call sometime. Matheston does a full bit
- 14:31Speaker 3: where he's acting out both parts. Sure, it's not worthy
- 14:34Speaker 3: of me to do it's that good.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I can't. I couldn't possible.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You're not worthy, Yeah, Diana says, can I tell you
- 14:39Speaker 3: what he said? He called me, he said, can we
- 14:42Speaker 3: meet at the park the next day? And then we
- 14:44Speaker 3: met at the park. And the night after we met
- 14:46Speaker 3: at the park, I called him back and I said,
- 14:49Speaker 3: how about you come over to my house? And he
- 14:51Speaker 3: said yes, And we had a relationship since then, friends
- 14:55Speaker 3: with benefits. We've never been out to lunch, we've never
- 14:59Speaker 3: been to shoot pool, We've never done any of that
- 15:01Speaker 3: other stuff he said, aside from go to the park.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Once we've just been in my house. That is it
- 15:08Speaker 3: all right?
- 15:10Speaker 1: All right?
- 15:12Speaker 3: And Mathis goes, ma'am, no disrespect to you, but what
- 15:16Speaker 3: you're defding in modern terms is a booty call. You
- 15:20Speaker 3: were his booty call. She says, yes, I was, and
- 15:24Speaker 3: I'm proud of it.
- 15:25Speaker 1: It was good, greats, greats Ruben.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Ruben says, you'r honor. She's lying.
- 15:33Speaker 3: The only reason we're here is because I rejected her
- 15:36Speaker 3: sexual advances, wanted to just hang out, and she began
- 15:40Speaker 3: to harass me.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Diana said, matthis is like, well, let's get to this contract.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Let's get to what the deal is here, Like, let's
- 15:46Speaker 3: get to the money, because we'll talk about harassment in
- 15:48Speaker 3: a second. But you know, these are two very different
- 15:51Speaker 3: stories we're getting, and they are They're two very different stories.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Diana says. A month into our relationship, he started talking.
- 15:59Speaker 3: About how he needed to write to work and he
- 16:01Speaker 3: needed money and his car wentn't working and blah blah
- 16:04Speaker 3: blah and he just needed money. Matthis is like a
- 16:06Speaker 3: month then, and he looks at him and goes a
- 16:10Speaker 3: true Jigglow would have gotten that money up front, He says,
- 16:14Speaker 3: come on, man, quit playing with the game. Oh gosh,
- 16:19Speaker 3: come on, So she says, I loaned him the money
- 16:23Speaker 3: three thousand dollars and and he said, and then she says,
- 16:27Speaker 3: and he signed a promissory note.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Mathis goes, what kind of jigglow is this.
- 16:36Speaker 3: She has?
- 16:37Speaker 1: So she loaned the money and made him sign a
- 16:40Speaker 1: promissory note that he would pay it back. She's just
- 16:42Speaker 1: better than we deserve.
- 16:43Speaker 3: She's got his signature and got copies of the checks
- 16:46Speaker 3: in court.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Wow, just give her the money. I don't even need
- 16:49Speaker 1: to hear the rest of the case.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Go on, Oh, this is great. You're you're just so
- 16:53Speaker 3: excited that you're that's where you are now. Reuben says, look,
- 16:56Speaker 3: my car broke down. I didn't ask her for any
- 16:58Speaker 3: money she offered. I did take a loan, but there's
- 17:01Speaker 3: a payment plan on that promise right now. You need
- 17:02Speaker 3: to look at it. So one hundred dollars a month.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I've been paying one hundred dollars a month, started in June,
- 17:06Speaker 3: paid it all the way through December. She kept being
- 17:09Speaker 3: friendly during that whole time, and asked me to do
- 17:12Speaker 3: some yard work. And he goes, oh, she wanted you
- 17:15Speaker 3: to work the rest off. Huh. Classic matthis once again.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Diana said, he never did any yard work for me.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Oh my god, I know that's what kind of case
- 17:24Speaker 3: we got.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Like that.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I don't like that, Ruben says, I continue making payments
- 17:28Speaker 3: through December of that year. At this point, Matthis goes, man,
- 17:32Speaker 3: you gotta let this man go and not worry about
- 17:34Speaker 3: his money. He does not know the game. He does
- 17:36Speaker 3: not know the game, and she said. Diana says, she's
- 17:39Speaker 3: sixty two year old white woman, looks like she walked
- 17:42Speaker 3: out of a library job.
- 17:43Speaker 2: And she goes, it's not my fault. He doesn't know
- 17:45Speaker 2: the game.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That's right. Tam boom boom boom. Not your fault.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Ruben says, your honor, I didn't have any relationship with
- 17:54Speaker 3: her at all.
- 17:56Speaker 2: That is not true.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Diana says, your Honor, I have text message.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm sure she does.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Umm. These this messages say that he's gonna pay me
- 18:06Speaker 3: back and give me kisses in the morning. Mathis goes,
- 18:10Speaker 3: kisses in the morning. What and he asks to see
- 18:14Speaker 3: the text messages. As the bailiff is handing Mathis the
- 18:18Speaker 3: text messages, Ruben says, your Honor, that is fake evidence.
- 18:21Speaker 3: It is falsified information. She typed it all up herself
- 18:25Speaker 3: and made it look like I texted.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Her that informa. Wow, so we get these.
- 18:30Speaker 1: This is like some catfish stuff.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Mathis reads the first one and it is very sexy.
- 18:37Speaker 3: He says, very sexy with a bunch of ours. Matthis
- 18:41Speaker 3: then reads that Diana says, I woke up with your
- 18:44Speaker 3: name on my lips. It is at this point Matthis
- 18:47Speaker 3: covers his mouth in shock and all. And then the
- 18:51Speaker 3: next line by Ruben is oo ah, yummy, and then
- 18:56Speaker 3: he reads, well, in that case, come on over and
- 18:59Speaker 3: make my eyes roll back, and you can work on
- 19:02Speaker 3: the money when you find something good.
- 19:06Speaker 1: He reads all this out in the courtroom.
- 19:10Speaker 3: In the courtroom, probably should put a disclaimer at the
- 19:12Speaker 3: front of this episode. Ruben's like, why are you lying
- 19:16Speaker 3: like this, your honor? This is a lie. It's falsified.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I didn't do any such thing. I didn't say any
- 19:22Speaker 3: such thing. Diana's like, no, these are real text messages.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Ruben's like, your honor, she reads romance novels all day long.
- 19:30Speaker 3: She's lying and Mathis goes, you both read remember just
- 19:35Speaker 3: like that.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So Rubin says, Mathews goes, this is all.
- 19:40Speaker 3: You have and she she Diana says, this is all
- 19:43Speaker 3: I need to show you, unless he's gonna countersuit me.
- 19:45Speaker 1: That's all.
- 19:46Speaker 3: She says, wow, And Matthews is like, what's this countersuit about.
- 19:49Speaker 3: So then Ruben says, I made a nine hundred and
- 19:53Speaker 3: thirty dollars worth of the three thousand dollars of payment.
- 19:55Speaker 3: First of all, I made that those payments, and I
- 19:57Speaker 3: was having financial difficulties.
- 19:59Speaker 1: She invited to her house. We were drinking some at
- 20:02Speaker 1: her house.
- 20:02Speaker 2: She came on to me. I think she got the
- 20:04Speaker 2: wrong idea. I left.
- 20:06Speaker 3: After that happened, she started coming to my job every
- 20:10Speaker 3: day asking for me to serve the table she was
- 20:13Speaker 3: sitting at every day. I got in a lot of trouble.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Matthew says, as you get fired. She says no. But
- 20:18Speaker 3: they stopped scheduling me five days a week and scheduled
- 20:20Speaker 3: me one day a week instead of.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Five days a week. They asked Diana about this.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Diana says, I did not harass him, but I did
- 20:27Speaker 3: go to his work every day. I did ask for
- 20:29Speaker 3: him as a server because he's sexy, he's cute, he's.
- 20:33Speaker 2: A good server.
- 20:34Speaker 3: I'd read my book and he'd serve me that's not harassment.
- 20:38Speaker 3: We had a relationship. He even texted me last night
- 20:42Speaker 3: before this court case, Hi, baby, how are you? And
- 20:47Speaker 3: then there's a few more pictures of text about the shower,
- 20:52Speaker 3: like if she just got out of the shower. It
- 20:54Speaker 3: gets more graphic and he's like, your honor, she is lying.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I have never written any of these text messages.
- 21:01Speaker 1: This is an intriguing defense.
- 21:04Speaker 2: You ready for the bomb to drop.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh boy, here we go. Let's go.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Matthis is like, okay, okay, so you did lose your
- 21:10Speaker 3: job over this.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Do you have anything to say to this?
- 21:12Speaker 1: And Diana goes, I have a naked picture of him
- 21:15Speaker 1: on my bed.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Great, matthis looks at Ruben and goes, how would she
- 21:23Speaker 3: have this? If you're if she's lying about all of this,
- 21:27Speaker 3: how would you she have this picture? He's like, He goes,
- 21:32Speaker 3: he's smiling. He goes, I don't know photoshop. So matthis says,
- 21:38Speaker 3: bring me the picture, bailiff, cover up the body. I
- 21:42Speaker 3: just want to see the head of the picture. I
- 21:43Speaker 3: don't want to see anything else. And sure enough we
- 21:47Speaker 3: see a picture of his hands back, his head, clearly
- 21:53Speaker 3: relaxing in the nude on her bed. She has brought
- 21:57Speaker 3: the picture to court, has the receipts.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I love that she wasn't going to use it. She
- 22:02Speaker 1: wasn't gonna use.
- 22:03Speaker 2: She wasn't gonna do it unless she had to. She listen.
- 22:08Speaker 3: It is the best thing in the world. I mean,
- 22:10Speaker 3: you can guess what's gonna happen here. I'm sure you
- 22:13Speaker 3: got do you do? You want to go ahead and
- 22:14Speaker 3: guess because he does rule at this point, But there's
- 22:16Speaker 3: more to this case after that.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like he's been lying because clearly
- 22:26Speaker 1: there was a relationship there. I think he's gonna make up,
- 22:28Speaker 1: make him pay the rest of the money.
- 22:29Speaker 2: He's a rainbow, He's gonna yeah, he's he has.
- 22:32Speaker 3: To pay all of it. His countersuit is dismissed. And
- 22:34Speaker 3: then Matthews says, y'all need to just uh go in
- 22:37Speaker 3: and kiss and make up. Laughs, you know, makes a
- 22:39Speaker 3: couple more jokes.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And that's it.
- 22:40Speaker 3: And then the interviews afterwards, Uh he he sticks with
- 22:46Speaker 3: the we never had sex.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I mean, my guy's got to show his face in public,
- 22:50Speaker 1: like his his his his buddies are gonna be watching
- 22:53Speaker 1: a little shaggy.
- 22:54Speaker 2: It wasn't me, It wasn't mean with the naked picture.
- 22:57Speaker 3: It wasn't me and he he said, we never did
- 22:59Speaker 3: any anything, and she says we did.
- 23:02Speaker 2: It was wonderful and I hope we do it again.
- 23:05Speaker 2: That's the end and all timer.
- 23:09Speaker 1: What a legend.
- 23:10Speaker 2: All timer.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah, Diana, Diana legend, Diana from the suburbs, I mean
- 23:15Speaker 3: Diana Cougar and she likes she loves it.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That's right. That's how you gabble right there.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Well, he likes the thing. The thing that we like
- 23:23Speaker 1: haven't considered is that he likes to read too.
- 23:25Speaker 3: That's right, he likes to read. Look if look, if
- 23:28Speaker 3: I see look, I'm married. If I see a woman reading,
- 23:31Speaker 3: I have to talk books with her like that's just
- 23:33Speaker 3: because you don't find any people that read, right, like
- 23:35Speaker 3: you know, it's just your when you're reading a book,
- 23:37Speaker 3: you're begging to be like talked to and harassed. Like
- 23:40Speaker 3: I think I've said that for years. You know, it's
- 23:43Speaker 3: just a common So few people like to read out there.
- 23:46Speaker 3: So you only do that in the public if you
- 23:48Speaker 3: if you really want attention once you start reading, like
- 23:51Speaker 3: you're asking for it to ask if that's that's what
- 23:52Speaker 3: I know what you're doing.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You know what you're doing all right, Well we did
- 23:58Speaker 1: it everybody. Congratulations.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Gonna be back next with another one.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Until then, all rise.
