Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Crazy Katie is collapsing right along with her city of Seattle, the socialist mayor publicly waived by the Seattle's millionaires, and they said in turn, FU, just as her city budget is collapsing to make matters even worse.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: It turns out she's a trust fund baby her parents pay for her.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: You'll
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: really can't make this stuff up.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: All as crazy Katie's approval rating is in a free full stigma in the very end of this video because we're about to get a master class on how progressive socialism always fails everywhere it's tried and unfortunately for those in Seattle, they're learning that lesson the hard way.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your patron professor here to help you make sense in the madness.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: We're breaking news analysis.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to get anywhere else, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: So a quick recap for anyone new here, Katie Wilson is the self-described Democratic Socialist who squeaked into the Seattle mayor's office last November by less
- 1:23[SPEAKER_02]: than a single percentage point.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's the slimmest margin in over a century in Seattle.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: She's the one who back in April.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_02]: Sad on a stage at Seattle University, got asked about millionaires fleeing Washington's new taxes.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: And she said this.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think the claims that millionaires are gonna leave our state are like super overblown.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: And if, you know, the ones that leave, like, bye.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 1:55[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you'll notice how self-inflicted this economic wound is if those clapping seals are from Seattle, which I'm assuming they are, Katie Wilson is just an extension of their own borderline illiteracy.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: We always seem to get the government we deserve, don't we?
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: And residents of Seattle are getting just that, at least those clapping seals are.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now that was
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: fast forward to just a couple of weeks ago in August.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: That same mayor is watching her approval rating collapse by over 20 points in four months.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: Those clapping seals are starting to disappear or net approvals drop 20 points.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: Since those idiotic comments, she's stuck in the mid 30s and according to a change Washington poll, they found that actually only 22% of Seattle voters approve of her job a performance while 66% disapproved, 60% of respondents said that she should either resign or be removed from office entirely.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Only 30% wanted to stay and get this.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: 53% of self-identified Democrats said she should go in Seattle, one of blue cities in America.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: Her own coalition is bailing on her.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: And now even the legacy media is beginning to corner her on that polling free fall.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to speak, anyone can do a poll, so people can look at the poll and interpret what they want, but my priority right now is delivering for the people of Seattle, and that means projects like this where we are putting paint on the ground, and we are improving our transportation.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: That same poll says a 20 point drop, a 20 point drop, and just a matter of months.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: How do you explain that?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I think there are a lot of concerns right now about public safety, which I understand public safety is an extremely high priority for my office.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're just about to start a search for our new police chief, so I understand we're in a moment of uncertainty in the city where a lot of people are wanting to see action and we are going to be providing that action.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now that there was a reference to her latest gap, Wilson actually fired Seattle's police chief Sean Barnes turning him into the fall guy, the scapegoat for her own administrations botched response to a mass shooting back in July that tore through the bite of Seattle festival at Seattle Center killing three people wounding several others in what police
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: was so ridiculous that Seattle residents filed formal recall charges against or with King County elections and they cited her failure to address crime, drug activity, gun violence, her efforts to deactivate CCTV cameras throughout the city and her handling, of course, police chief barns is outsting as grounds for, quote, dereliction of duty.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: But what they didn't mention, which I was interested in here.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: was the mass exodus of companies and the economic devastation that she's wreaking on Seattle since that fateful wave of a goodbye back in April.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: 70s after she made that quip.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: 70s after she said buy Starbucks announced $100 million Nashville expansion with up to 2,000 support jobs headed south months later by August.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: That same company would cut 224 Seattle jobs while Nashville kept growing.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: The mass started writing itself into memes before Wilson's press team could catch up and Starbucks wasn't alone.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: Tyson Foods is closing one of their plans.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: They just announced they'll be ending operations at their beef processing plant in the Pasco area and as it turns out Starbucks and Dyson are just the beginning.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: showed that 44% of state business leaders said they were considering relocating their personal residents out of Washington.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: A figure that later climbed to 55% as her poll numbers continued to plunge.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: Washington's first ever income tax, a 9.9% levy on household earning over a million dollars annually, took effect after passing this past March.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: the same survey found 28% of employers weighing in exit were already actively scouting new locations while 18% already owned property outside the state.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: And now crazy Katie is staring down the barrel of a projected 175 million dollar budget shortfall for the coming years.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: The city just spirals out of economic control.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: but perhaps the worth, well certainly, certainly the most embarrassing revelation is yet to come.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: If crazy Katie thought her mismanagement woes were bad enough, wait until you see the latest scandal.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: This will blow you away.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: Now, encountering all of this, made me think of the lines, I hear people say, all the time when it comes to goal.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm, I'm good to wait, right?
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: Wait for goal to come down, wait for inflation to settle.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: Then I'll get it.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: Wait for the economy to stabilize.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: Wait until things feel a little more normal.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: But here's my question to you guys.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: What exactly are we waiting for?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: You see the likes of the wealthy around the what?
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: They're not waiting.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: Look at the economic reality around the central banks around the world, continue accumulating gold.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: Nations continue looking for alternatives to their dependence on the dollar.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: We're watching an increasingly fragmented global economy take shape right in front of us.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: These are an isolated headlines.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: These are structural changes, and we've been talking about these trends in this channel for years.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: So when someone tells me that they're waiting for the quote right time to look at
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're still focused on the wrong thing because if debt, currency concerns, central bank buying, geopolitical uncertainty, if those are the reasons you were considering physical gold in the first place, what's changed?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's the question, right?
- 8:10[SPEAKER_02]: Not whether you can perfectly time the price.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: Not whether gold is higher today than it was a year ago.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: Have the fundamental reasons for owning gold gone away.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously from where I sit, they have not.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why people are still looking at purchasing physical gold and silver directly while others are exploring whether a gold IRA makes sense for a portion of the retirement savings.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: And if you're looking into either one, get educated first and that's why I trust Augusta precious metals.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: Their experience educational team will sit down with you one on one, explain physical golden silver, walk you through how a gold IRA works, answer your questions, and then help you understand your options before you make a decision.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: Go to turlybindschool.com or text
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: to 35252 to request Augustus free god because waiting only makes sense if you're waiting for something fundamental to change, debt is still climbing, central banks are still buying, the global order is still shifting, the reasons for owning gold haven't changed.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: Not one bit, click on that link below right now.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: Here's where this whole thing gets even more delicious because it turns out more and more Seattle residents are suddenly realizing to their shock that they were sold to bill a goods.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: A socialist lying can't believe that.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: When she was campaigning for mayor, crazy Katie portrayed herself as a fellow struggling renter.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: So she pushed the whole Mamdoni propaganda of affordability and claims she was actually struggling right along with everyone else.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: So she ran as a $72,000 a year transit activist running a one-bedroom apartment on Capitol Hill with her husband and toddler.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: telling voters that she could barely afford to live in the city.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: That was the story.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: She's one of you.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: She's drowning in the same rent daycare bills as every other Seattle family voters believed her.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: And it helped her win the mayor's office by the slimmest margin in a hundred years less than a one percentage point.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: Except, there was one small detail missing from the campaign literature.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_02]: As it turns out, it was actually her parents who were quietly covering a huge chunk of her family's child care costs.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the exact expense that made her household budget looking possible in paper in the first place, when reporters caught up with her dad, or 76-year-old father, David Wilson.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't deny it.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: He confirmed it.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: He even put a number on it.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: 5,000 bucks.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: He and his wife were paying around 5,000 to help.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: And then said the part that should be the headline in all of this, he hoped that with her new mayoral
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: I kid you not, he said this, his daughter would finally become financially independent.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: Let that hit you, finally become financially in a bit gang.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_02]: Katie Wilson is 43 freaking years old.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's who the Seattle residents just voted in as their mayor, a 43 year old living off of her parents.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and by the way, what is that new salary that she's getting as mayor?
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know it?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's a quarter of a million dollars a year, more than triple what she was making, running a activist nonprofit.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_02]: One of the highest mayoral salaries in the country.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, even Wilson herself admitted, when asked that with the paycheck, she'd no longer need help from her parents.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you know, behind all the pathetic socialist propaganda, these progresses just turn politics into a business model to get access to money, they don't have the competence to access in the free market.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's all it is.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's a business model.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: So let's connect the dots here on this whole disaster because it's almost pathetic.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: The woman who weighed by two millionaires who built a socialist tax platform on the premise that ordinary Seattleites are drowning while the rich coast by she was herself being quietly subsidized by a professor's pension the entire time she ran that campaign and she certainly didn't tell you about it.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: Meanwhile, the actual baristas and the transit rider she claims to represent are paying full freight for daycare with no professor grant parents on speed dial.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: Same playbook is Mamdonny in New York to be honest, right?
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: Run on scarcity, a very scarcity you've never experienced in your life, win on authenticity that's actually just a costume, then go blow up a city budget you've never actually had to balance yourself.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: Seattle didn't elect a struggling renter.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: Seattle elected a performer.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: Katie Wilson ran as the anti-wealth tax-the-rich Mamdoni wannabe candidate promising a more equal more equitable Seattle instead five months into her tenure.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: She's watching a budget hole she helped create a police chief.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: She just fired a recall petition and a majority of her own city telling posters to show her the door.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: This is what happens when you treat capital and public trust, like a fixed resource you can squeeze without consequence.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_02]: Capital moves, companies move, millionaires move, and apparently, so does voter patience.
