BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Session Zero Heroes + Future Content · Session Zero Heroes | TTRPG Actual Play Adventures & Improv Storytelling

• 0:04
Hey, everyone, skyler here. I have a huge announcement that
• 0:07
I'm incredibly excited to make. With the end of season two of our
• 0:10
Benders and Brews show coming to an end with a big
• 0:12
cliffhanger, be sure to be caught up on the show, so you know what I'm
• 0:15
talking about. You're going to be seeing some big
• 0:18
changes on our channel. That's right. We'll be
• 0:21
doing some rebranding to reflect some incredible new
• 0:24
ideas we'll be in. I want to
• 0:26
emphasize before I go any further that we are not closing
• 0:29
out on Benders and Brews, the Avatar Legends podcast.
• 0:32
Rather, we're adding new content to it. Let
• 0:35
me explain. Firstly, our plan is to integrate
• 0:38
all new content into the channel new
• 0:40
TTRPG or tabletop role playing game for those that
• 0:43
are unaware representation from a variety of different
• 0:46
games out there. That means instead of having Dead Time,
• 0:49
where we're between seasons of Benders and Brews, you'll
• 0:52
still have brand new episodes of other
• 0:54
TTRPG actual plays to listen to that we'll be
• 0:57
doing. Secondly, to reflect the addition of these
• 1:00
new shows, we'll be changing our channel's name to Session
• 1:03
Zero Heroes. That's our brand new name. We're really
• 1:05
excited about it. It was a lot of voting from the community
• 1:08
and from our team. So by renaming
• 1:11
to Session Zero Heroes, people will be able to know that we're
• 1:14
broadening up our spectrum of shows that we offer. You might
• 1:17
have already noticed this name change kind of, uh,
• 1:19
drifting around on the social media and other networks, but whatever
• 1:22
the case, we're going to fully implement it here in the coming
• 1:25
future. And we're incredibly excited about this change up, and we really
• 1:28
hope that you are as well. Thirdly, we had an
• 1:31
  amazing time collaborating and advertising
• 1:33
alongside organizations and podcasts like the
• 1:36
Flying Bison Podcast, homie and the Dude Snyder's
• 1:39
Return and other TTRPG podcasts that are out there.
• 1:42
If you fall under that classification, we would love to
• 1:45
collaborate with you as well. Now that we've broadened up our spectrum
• 1:48
of TTRPGs we're sharing, we'd love to discuss options
• 1:51
with those looking to promote their TTRPG
• 1:53
  podcasts, their upcoming Kickstarters, and
• 1:56
anything related to that field. Please don't
• 1:59
hesitate to reach out to us on Socials and let us know that you're
• 2:02
looking for some form of a partnership, ad swap or
• 2:05
collaboration opportunity. We love seeing the awesome
• 2:08
projects others are working on and meeting all sorts of amazing
• 2:11
tabletop content creators that are out there. Finally, I
• 2:14
want to end with a massive thank you to everyone who
• 2:16
has followed up from our humble beginnings of Benders and Brews
• 2:19
season one all the way up until now. Uh, all
• 2:22
those amazing, amazing listeners who love and support our
• 2:25
  show. Seriously, we truly
• 2:28
appreciate all of the support, your kind words, your
• 2:31
feedback, and everything that you've given us in between.
• 2:34
It's helped us get as far as we've come, and we
• 2:36
simply hope that we can continue to make you guys proud
• 2:39
and give you content that you enjoy and are entertained
• 2:42
by. Again, thank you all so much for listening to our
• 2:45
podcast. And if you've enjoyed our journey so far, be sure to, like,
• 2:48
follow and subscribe to brand new Session Zero Heroes
• 2:50
channels, both on social media such as Facebook, Instagram,
• 2:53
  Twitter, or AKX and Discord,
• 2:56
as well as wherever you listen to your podcast. If you're already following
• 2:59
the Benders and Brews stuff, that's going to get renamed
• 3:02
to the Session Zero Hero stuff, so you won't have to go in
• 3:05
and find any new it's not any new pages that you had to
• 3:08
find. It's the same pages, just with a new name.
• 3:11
If you're not following us currently on our Benders and Brew stuff,
• 3:14
that'll be your chance to look for us labeled as
• 3:16
Session Zero Heroes from now on. And of course, if you're on
• 3:19
itunes or another podcast network that allows for reviews, we
• 3:22
would love to get your feedback on the channel. So please, if
• 3:25
you have a couple minutes, we would love to hear
• 3:28
from you. We currently have an exciting Dungeons and Dragons Fifth
• 3:31
Edition homebrew campaign that we're already recording episodes for
• 3:34
  titled Criminals of Isla Numis.
• 3:37
And that's going to be rolling out with the same schedule as Benders and
• 3:39
Bruise. This is going to be kind of like our second anchor show that we
• 3:42
do, right? So Benders and Bruise is going to be going on
• 3:45
typically between April and October of the year. Uh,
• 3:48
the Criminals of Isla Numis, dungeons and Dragons, fifth edition
• 3:51
podcast. That one is going to be going on
• 3:54
outside of that season. And we have a lot of fun with that. We have a lot
• 3:57
of fun creating little new stories along the way. Um,
• 4:00
but again, nothing's happening to vendors and
• 4:03
Brews. It'll still follow the same schedule. We'll be doing season
• 4:06
three here the next year. Don't worry. That content's
• 4:09
still coming. Um, and it's going to be on the same
• 4:11
schedule. Nothing's changing. There just the name of the
• 4:14
channel. Jumping back to the announcement with the
• 4:17
Dungeons and Dragons podcast. Like I said, same schedule
• 4:20
every other Thursday. And hopefully based on our group's personal
• 4:23
schedules and availability, you'll see some other shows, uh,
• 4:25
coming in in between, whether those be one shots or sort
• 4:28
of more long form stories. Along with that, we've
• 4:31
updated and upgraded our audio equipment a bit, which is really
• 4:34
exciting. And hopefully that's going to help bring us higher quality
• 4:37
episodes as we move forward. So really excited about
• 4:39
that new channel title, new shows,
• 4:42
new equipment, a lot of new stuff coming your way, which is really
• 4:45
exciting for what we're doing. Again,
• 4:48
thank you all so much for your
• 4:50
support. So stay curious, stay heroic
• 4:53
  until we roll again.
