She works as a research assistant and coordinator at a diabetes clinic and research center, helping with studies related to advanced diabetes technologies. She loves the great outdoors, photography, writing, live music, and connecting with other T1Ds worldwide. We also talk in length about diagnosis, challenges with post-meal highs, Afrezza, and when a caregiver should give over the reins to a young diabetic.
