- 0:03Speaker 1: And coming up on Saturday, we have got the original
- 0:06Speaker 1: Fargo Saint Patrick's State Pub Crawl. It is back and
- 0:09Speaker 1: it is presented by bud Light. We're gonna have one
- 0:12Speaker 1: heck of a time downtown Fargo.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Basically how it works is, first, let me say, you
- 0:18Speaker 2: don't have to spend any money if you.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Don't want to. You can do the whole pub crawl
- 0:23Speaker 3: and not spend a dime.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Yeah, you just pay for whatever you want to eat
- 0:26Speaker 4: and drink.
- 0:27Speaker 2: But to participate and to get that passport, your pub
- 0:30Speaker 2: crawl passport, that is free, and that's thanks to.
- 0:33Speaker 4: The Bridge's apartments.
- 0:34Speaker 2: So then you're gonna just pub crawl your way through
- 0:37Speaker 2: downtown Old Broadway, Sports Bar, Fort Knox, Ruters, the Northern Cabaret,
- 0:42Speaker 2: Side Street, Cowboy Jack's, the Larney Stone, Downtown Worst.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Beer Hall, Rough Cut Social.
- 0:48Speaker 2: So there are plenty of places to go get your
- 0:51Speaker 2: passport stamped.
- 0:52Speaker 4: And then at the end you just go to the
- 0:53Speaker 4: OBI and they.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Hand you a medal pub crawling And I love that now.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So if you are unaware of this, our Angie is
- 1:03Speaker 1: very good at doing accents, and I am horrendous at accents.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I got nothing other than maybe like I could do
- 1:12Speaker 1: the Godfather a little bit, but that's about it. Or
- 1:14Speaker 1: if it's really early in the morning, I can maybe
- 1:16Speaker 1: hit you with a sca, you know, from a lion king.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Yes, it's my favorite thing.
- 1:21Speaker 1: But it is time, I think twenty twenty six, this
- 1:24Speaker 1: moment is when I've chosen we are gonna perfect the
- 1:27Speaker 1: Irish accent this morning.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Angie.
- 1:29Speaker 1: What I googled this because you know you find everything
- 1:31Speaker 1: on Google. Yeah, including learning how to talk. The Internet
- 1:35Speaker 1: says the trick. You just add a little musical rhythm
- 1:38Speaker 1: to your voice. So I got just a couple you know,
- 1:40Speaker 1: these kind of classic Irish sayings at.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I don't I don't like that you started this with
- 1:45Speaker 2: Angie's great at accents and I'm not You're setting me
- 1:48Speaker 2: up for failure.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I am not good at an Irish accent.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Well, this is the perfect time for us to learn together, Okay, Angie,
- 1:54Speaker 1: top o the Morning to you? If you're going to
- 1:57Speaker 1: give that your best irishow, do you want me to
- 1:59Speaker 1: go first? Yeah, I gotta get into character here, like
- 2:01Speaker 1: Sarah Sharon top of Top.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Of the Morning to you. All Right, that's fine, that's
- 2:07Speaker 3: not great.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I gotta say it now.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Yeah, give me it.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Top of the morning to you.
- 2:11Speaker 1: You're so good at it.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Up it is, you're so good at this. I don't
- 2:17Speaker 3: think that sounded I thought that was great.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You're so kind getting What about another one?
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yes, the luck of the Irish?
- 2:25Speaker 4: Oh, yes, the luck of the Irish.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I can't do it. That's not good. You're so good
- 2:30Speaker 3: at this.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I got just two more for you here, Angie. What
- 2:34Speaker 1: about pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?
- 2:37Speaker 4: That was good?
- 2:38Speaker 3: That wasn't bad. That wasn't bad.
- 2:40Speaker 4: A pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:44Speaker 2: It's okay, incredibly kind gave. I don't know that you've
- 2:48Speaker 2: heard an Irish person what it is.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It's just what I'm seeing on TV. All right.
- 2:52Speaker 1: What about the last one? Happy Saint Patrick's Day.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I don't want to say Saint Patrick's say. Can I
- 2:59Speaker 4: say Patty's?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Yeah, Happy Saint Patti's Day.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I think you're wonderful with this, celebrating life's little victories.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Every morning we practice gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:14Speaker 6: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:16Speaker 6: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Sure, your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:23Speaker 5: two and oho one ninety eight seven kids.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I also needed to win that day.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And we got to give Ryan a big shout out here. Angie, Ryan,
- 3:29Speaker 1: this is actually kind of more of a major victory.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But I feel like Ryan wanted to tell someone about it,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and I just told us about it. So Ryan said,
- 3:37Speaker 1: almost two years ago, I was going through a divorce
- 3:39Speaker 1: with my now ex wife. My mental health was garbage,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and my work suffered because of it. I wound up
- 3:44Speaker 1: losing my job at the same time, I had to
- 3:46Speaker 1: leave my home.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Of eight years.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 3:49Speaker 3: With no job and nowhere.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Else to go, I went back home and moved in
- 3:52Speaker 1: with my mom two years later. So now I now
- 3:55Speaker 1: have the best job I've ever had. The credit cards
- 3:58Speaker 1: that I had to live off of during that time
- 4:00Speaker 1: until I got the job, they're almost all paid off.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And I close on a piece of property and build
- 4:05Speaker 1: my own home within the next week.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Wow.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Talk about like a roller coaster ride of emotions and congratulations.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That's normally when Angie and I are talking about little victories,
- 4:16Speaker 1: were like, oh, I made pasta last night, But congratulations, Ryan,
- 4:20Speaker 1: that's awesome and it's good to hear you're doing well
- 4:22Speaker 1: and things are looking up.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I have a green diratulation.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That's fabulous to hear. You know, that's more of a
- 4:26Speaker 1: major victory, but we still love hearing him. Nonetheless, Angie,
- 4:30Speaker 1: what's your little victory today?
- 4:32Speaker 3: Well, mine is gonna pale in comparison.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Oh mind too, but it is something I'm really excited about.
- 4:38Speaker 4: So I am.
- 4:39Speaker 2: A Bravo holiic, meaning I love all of the shows
- 4:42Speaker 2: on Bravo, The Real Housewives, vander Pump Rule, Southern Charm,
- 4:46Speaker 2: all the things. And so I've roped my boyfriend Mikey
- 4:50Speaker 2: into watching vander Pump Rules from the beginning.
- 4:55Speaker 4: That's right, and he has been invested.
- 4:57Speaker 7: He likes it.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Whenever we have a spare moments, like you want to
- 5:01Speaker 2: watch another episode of Vanderpump.
- 5:03Speaker 4: And we finally.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Got to Scandaval if you know, you know Scandaval the.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Major I mean, the hugest.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Heating scandal in reality television history to date. This was
- 5:20Speaker 2: so important to me when it happened, it was just
- 5:23Speaker 2: a couple of years ago. And to watch Mikey see
- 5:28Speaker 2: how this all unfolded, it's like, you know what I
- 5:31Speaker 2: could equate it to if you were trying to get
- 5:34Speaker 2: someone to watch Game of Thrones for the first time,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and then you did, and you got to watch them
- 5:39Speaker 2: react during the process of watching. Yes, it feels so good.
- 5:44Speaker 2: That's how I was feeling. Yesterday, we finally made it
- 5:48Speaker 2: after ten seasons. We got to Scandalval and I mean
- 5:54Speaker 2: Nike's reactions were not disappointing. I should have recorded it,
- 5:58Speaker 2: but we were so in the moment and I'm just
- 6:00Speaker 2: glad that we're finally here. Now he knows all of
- 6:03Speaker 2: the lore. Now I can reference all these things and
- 6:06Speaker 2: he knows what I'm talking about. So that's a major victory.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Actually, well, Angie, my little victory also pales in comparison
- 6:16Speaker 1: to the one we got to read this morning. My
- 6:17Speaker 1: little victory is yesterday I found this little snicker bar.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Okay, and on the.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Wrap, your little victory is my major misery. For the record,
- 6:30Speaker 4: go ahead.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Your little victory was a tiny, little baby prank that
- 6:33Speaker 1: I got to play on Angie, which you can see
- 6:36Speaker 1: on the internet right now. It's on the big ninety
- 6:38Speaker 1: eight point seven Instagram. I think it's on our Facebook
- 6:41Speaker 1: page too, yep. And what I had found was this
- 6:44Speaker 1: little snicker bar. Okay, we have this like candy bowl upfront,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and once in a while there's some Snickers in it,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and that's my favorite candy. So I take one from
- 6:50Speaker 1: time to time and I'm like the outside of the wrapping.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I don't even know how it was possible, But there
- 6:55Speaker 1: was this letter L. I mean just a letter L.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And when I saw that, I knew instantly what absolutely
- 7:02Speaker 1: had to be done. I walked in and I said, Angie,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I think this snicker bar has your name on it, Like,
- 7:08Speaker 1: what's this letter right here?
- 7:09Speaker 3: And she was like, well what letter? I was like, well,
- 7:12Speaker 3: the one right here.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And you looked at me and you instantly you're like, oh,
- 7:16Speaker 1: this is some BS.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I was so annoyed the thing with you and I
- 7:21Speaker 2: because when you posted the video I commented this because
- 7:23Speaker 2: I had a little back and forth with your sister.
- 7:25Speaker 3: That's right with you.
- 7:27Speaker 4: I know it's always about to be some BS. I
- 7:31Speaker 4: just know always, and so.
- 7:33Speaker 2: For me it's just a matter of waiting to find
- 7:35Speaker 2: out exactly what it is. So the second you walked
- 7:39Speaker 2: into the studio that I was in, I thought, great,
- 7:43Speaker 2: what is this man gonna do to me today?
- 7:46Speaker 1: And I said, Angie, I think this snicker bar is
- 7:48Speaker 1: destined for you. There's an L on here blah blah blah,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and you're like, an L what's that for?
- 7:53Speaker 3: And I just said loser. Yep, so great.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Listen. I enjoy this retail.
- 8:00Speaker 2: But you can see my full annoyance in this video
- 8:04Speaker 2: if you check out the big ninety points up on
- 8:06Speaker 2: Facebook page or our instagram.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Very recently, I put together a crib at the Glitten
- 8:20Speaker 1: Household as we are excited to welcome a little baby girl,
- 8:24Speaker 1: little baby g sometime this spring. And let me tell you, summer.
- 8:29Speaker 3: What did I say? Spring break?
- 8:31Speaker 1: Bro?
- 8:32Speaker 3: You better learn that, do date?
- 8:34Speaker 1: I got pregnancy brain. Okay, leave me alone, But I
- 8:39Speaker 1: have learned. You know, putting together a baby crib with
- 8:42Speaker 1: no instructions not exactly the easiest thing on planet Earth. Now,
- 8:48Speaker 1: there was some missing hardware, and once the hardware arrived
- 8:51Speaker 1: that was needed, I was able to put it together
- 8:54Speaker 1: pretty pretty quickly, thank goodness. Right, But I'm sitting here,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I have this crib and you got to set the
- 8:59Speaker 1: height for the mattress, and I'm going, is this is
- 9:02Speaker 1: this too high?
- 9:03Speaker 7: Like?
- 9:04Speaker 3: Kid?
- 9:04Speaker 1: They they're gonna be jumping, crawling, rolling out of this thing. Now,
- 9:07Speaker 1: obviously a brand new baby, it'll be just fine, okay,
- 9:11Speaker 1: But once I get to like five, six, seven, eight
- 9:14Speaker 1: nine months old.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Yeah, no, especially when they can pull themselves up to
- 9:17Speaker 2: stand exactly.
- 9:18Speaker 3: It's really careful.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And the reason I bring that up is there's this
- 9:21Speaker 1: mom named Reagan who posted this TikTok that went uber viral.
- 9:25Speaker 1: And you've probably seen things like this before, but the
- 9:28Speaker 1: video shows her baby moving around all night, climbing, hanging
- 9:33Speaker 1: all over this crib, this rail, It even gets out
- 9:35Speaker 1: and falls asleep on the floor, and it left viewers,
- 9:38Speaker 1: of course, amused on TikTok, And so I wanted to
- 9:41Speaker 1: know this morning as I gear up to be a
- 9:44Speaker 1: first time dad. Yeah, what is the strangest thing you
- 9:48Speaker 1: have ever seen and or caught your baby or child?
- 9:51Speaker 1: It could just be your kid doing you know, as
- 9:53Speaker 1: your kid ever been on the old baby monitor talking
- 9:56Speaker 1: to ghosts or something. Let us know about it this
- 9:58Speaker 1: morning at seven oh one two eight zero one seven.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Now, Angie, you're a mom, yep, multiple times.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I got two kiddos and they were doing all
- 10:08Speaker 2: kind of weird things always and they've never stopped. I
- 10:12Speaker 2: remember I remember what specifically though, that cracked me up
- 10:16Speaker 2: because I walked into the kitchen.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Gosh aiden had to.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Be maybe a year old, and this kid was making
- 10:24Speaker 2: out with the refrigerator.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Oh wow, he was. I have a.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Picture, you know what, I gotta find this picture.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'll post it on the big ninety points on Facebook page.
- 10:32Speaker 2: But he was like just really in love with this fridge,
- 10:36Speaker 2: I guess, and he had his hands up and he
- 10:38Speaker 2: just was really going for the kiss on this stainless.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Deal over fridge. Sounds like he could have been on
- 10:45Speaker 3: that show my stranger did.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, thankfully he's grown out of that. He is not attracted.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we do have Whitney on the phone. Whitney, what's
- 10:57Speaker 1: the strangest thing you ever caught your baby or your
- 10:59Speaker 1: kid doing?
- 11:00Speaker 7: My baby monitor alert goes off at three am, So
- 11:03Speaker 7: I checked the camera and my nine month old is
- 11:06Speaker 7: just sitting straight up in the crib clapping, not crying,
- 11:09Speaker 7: not playing, just slowly clapping in the dark like she's approving.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Of something instantly. The scene of a horror movie.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I hate that.
- 11:16Speaker 3: I hate it so much. Scene not of a horror movie. Yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 3: I couldn't.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I was trying to think of anything that maybe I
- 11:21Speaker 1: did that was weird when I was a kid. I
- 11:23Speaker 1: think I was just too young. I don't remember doing
- 11:25Speaker 1: it now. I just do it when I'm thirty five,
- 11:28Speaker 1: So weird seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 11:32Speaker 1: The weirdest thing you have ever seen your baby doing? Uh, Paul,
- 11:36Speaker 1: what about you? What's the weirdest thing you ever caught
- 11:38Speaker 1: your kid doing.
- 11:38Speaker 6: I walked into my son's room and I saw him
- 11:40Speaker 6: talking to the wall, like, not a picture on the wall,
- 11:43Speaker 6: not a doll up against the wall, the actual wall.
- 11:47Speaker 6: And I asked what he was doing. He said, just chatting.
- 11:50Speaker 1: All of these things make for chatting. All of these
- 11:53Speaker 1: things make for a wonderful horror movie.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Well, tomorrow's Friday at the thirteenth seven oh one two
- 11:59Speaker 2: eight zero on nine eight seven.
- 12:00Speaker 1: If you want to chime in this morning, The strangest
- 12:03Speaker 1: thing you ever caught your kid or your baby.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Doing because you had a bad day.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson has come out and revealed that she never
- 12:15Speaker 1: got the million dollars or the car from winning the
- 12:18Speaker 1: first season of American Idol, which to me, it feels
- 12:21Speaker 1: like there should almost be a law against that.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess it's all in the wording yeah if
- 12:27Speaker 2: legal protected them and said no, no, no, you're good.
- 12:29Speaker 4: You can say whatever you want.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to read the fine print.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And we're actually gonna hear her talk about that coming
- 12:34Speaker 1: up in about ten ish minutes or so with the tea.
- 12:37Speaker 1: But I was wondering, then, if you have you ever
- 12:41Speaker 1: been really looking forward to something and it ended up
- 12:45Speaker 1: kind of being a bit of a bummer, or it
- 12:47Speaker 1: wasn't as awesome as you thought it might be, or
- 12:49Speaker 1: there was a big I don't know. I'll just downturn
- 12:52Speaker 1: to it because I know exactly what my answer is
- 12:55Speaker 1: to this day. I'll remember this for as long as
- 12:56Speaker 1: I live, because I had one shot at it and
- 12:58Speaker 1: then it got had to get canceled.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Oh, mine actually just happened at the beginning of the year.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Oh what's yours?
- 13:06Speaker 4: Starting at the end of last year, I went, I've
- 13:09Speaker 4: had sorry.
- 13:10Speaker 1: If you want to chime in though, seven oh one
- 13:12Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven, yes, you're.
- 13:14Speaker 4: More important than me, for sure, so please let us know.
- 13:18Speaker 4: I have had some time.
- 13:20Speaker 2: To process this, so now I feel comfortable saying it.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I also feel like the people involved don't listen to
- 13:26Speaker 2: this show, so it's fine.
- 13:28Speaker 4: I went on a cruise.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Oh sure, at the end of twenty twenty five going
- 13:33Speaker 2: into twenty twenty six. I was there on the boat
- 13:38Speaker 2: on New Year's Eve and I thought it was going
- 13:42Speaker 2: to be so fun and like, what a great time
- 13:47Speaker 2: for all of us, and I it was just such
- 13:51Speaker 2: a lot down because I feel like there was a
- 13:53Speaker 2: lot of bickering amongst parties.
- 13:56Speaker 1: It wasn't necessarily the cruise itself, it was just the
- 13:59Speaker 1: company were with.
- 14:00Speaker 4: It was the good that sounds even worse.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I just feel like there was a miscommunication. Sometimes
- 14:07Speaker 2: there were like back and forth and like there was
- 14:10Speaker 2: like ten of us and so clicks that formed, and
- 14:13Speaker 2: it just didn't feel as like joyous as I wanted to.
- 14:17Speaker 4: And on New Year's.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Eve, I started an ant Flow visited Aunt. Flow was like,
- 14:23Speaker 2: I want to go on a cruise and I was
- 14:25Speaker 2: not prepared for that. She came unexpectedly and then everything
- 14:29Speaker 2: was closed. Although I was like, great, yeah, a letdown
- 14:35Speaker 2: for sure.
- 14:36Speaker 1: We have Bradley on the phone. Bradley, what was something
- 14:39Speaker 1: that was a bit of a letdown for you?
- 14:40Speaker 6: My wife kronised that we would go on vacation this year,
- 14:43Speaker 6: but that fell through. We can't get the same time
- 14:46Speaker 6: off as each other, and the kids are in school.
- 14:48Speaker 6: Let's we just don't have enough money in the budget
- 14:50Speaker 6: for anything significant. I mean there's always next year.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Well, it's still early. I wouldn't give up hope. I
- 14:57Speaker 1: mean it is March. Maybe things aren't looking great now,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but it things might turn around by September. You could
- 15:02Speaker 1: do an end of the year thing.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Yeah, fingers crumbed.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah. For me my thirtieth birthday.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Okay, my sweet wonderful wife at the time was not
- 15:11Speaker 1: my wife, but my girlfriend Corey. Back then, she had
- 15:15Speaker 1: this surprise thirtieth birthday party for me where she had
- 15:19Speaker 1: spent a bunch of money on stuff, had everybody roped
- 15:22Speaker 1: into helping and YadA, YadA, YadA. Well, we didn't get
- 15:27Speaker 1: to have it because my birthday is December fifth. It
- 15:30Speaker 1: was in like November when the big COVID hit and
- 15:34Speaker 1: you couldn't get big, giant groups together like that, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: so we never got to have it.
- 15:38Speaker 3: We never were able to really like reschedule it.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Oh, I will never ever probably a surprise party for
- 15:45Speaker 1: as long as I lived. But I was so looking
- 15:48Speaker 1: forward to it, and well I didn't know about the
- 15:52Speaker 1: surprise party. But once I found out that it had
- 15:54Speaker 1: to get canceled, I was like, well I want to
- 15:55Speaker 1: have this. Yeah, we're talking about and so it's just
- 15:59Speaker 1: a bummer that I never got to experience that for
- 16:01Speaker 1: my thirtieth birthday.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I think that's been pretty cool.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Didn't feel thirty flirty and thriving.
- 16:07Speaker 3: No, I sat at home and couldn't leave my house.
- 16:10Speaker 3: What's up? Bummer?
- 16:11Speaker 1: We also have got Renee on the phone, Renee, what
- 16:14Speaker 1: about you? What's something that was a bit of a bummer.
- 16:15Speaker 7: My job interview said fast paced, exciting environment, and that
- 16:19Speaker 7: turned out to me three people quit and now I
- 16:22Speaker 7: do all of their jobs.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, that's about how that goes.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, No, don't.
- 16:25Speaker 2: That's like the worst wording you could ever see on
- 16:27Speaker 2: it don't.
- 16:30Speaker 5: In the world of Rules in Gray Areas, one morning
- 16:33Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 16:35Speaker 3: We both know you're guilty. He's guilty. Is it legal?
- 16:39Speaker 1: You're guilty of the worst crime of all?
- 16:42Speaker 3: On Big ninety eight point seven, you know the rule?
- 16:47Speaker 1: You walk into work on Saint Patrick's Day or you're
- 16:50Speaker 1: enjoying the Saint Patrick's Day pub crawl Presented by bud Light,
- 16:53Speaker 1: This weekend, and do you forget to wear green and
- 16:57Speaker 1: suddenly Janet from Accounting turns into a tiny little pinching
- 17:03Speaker 1: leprechauny oh, I hate it well. According to the law
- 17:06Speaker 1: in North Dakota, pinching someone without their consent can actually
- 17:09Speaker 1: be considered.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Assault and battery.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I love this so technically that little Saint Patrick's Day
- 17:15Speaker 1: pinch could land you in more trouble than the person
- 17:19Speaker 1: who showed up wearing zero green. So on March seventeenth,
- 17:22Speaker 1: remember if someone forgets to wear green or chooses not
- 17:26Speaker 1: to wear green, just point and laugh at him like
- 17:29Speaker 1: a normal person. Okay, because the only thing worse than
- 17:32Speaker 1: getting pinched on Saint Patrick's Day is having to explain
- 17:34Speaker 1: to a police officer that you were defending Irish tradition.
- 17:40Speaker 4: I'm the color police.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You might see a lot of this on the Saint
- 17:44Speaker 1: Patrick Day pop call or on Saint Patrick's Day itself
- 17:47Speaker 1: at work.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Just keep your hands to yourself.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Yes, you know the thing that you're thinking about, but
- 17:54Speaker 5: you're too polite to say, we got you.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Who are you calling a coony queen?
- 17:59Speaker 5: Lesure tying on the hill of controversial opinion? So you
- 18:04Speaker 5: don't have to this is sorry, not sorry. On Big
- 18:11Speaker 5: ninety eight point.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Seven, I saw something on Instagram yesterday that I had
- 18:16Speaker 1: this has to be said, and it has to we
- 18:18Speaker 1: got to get it off our chest. This morning here
- 18:20Speaker 1: on Big ninety eight point seven, I saw this thing
- 18:23Speaker 1: on Instagram yesterday and it was a reel of this
- 18:26Speaker 1: you know, I'm sure wonderful young lady.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Okay, And the reel.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Said, who said sad people can't wear a tube top?
- 18:35Speaker 1: And it's her wearing a tube top, you know, in
- 18:37Speaker 1: this little short video. And I'm instead of thinking like, oh,
- 18:41Speaker 1: that's nice or whatever, my brain instantly goes, well, who
- 18:45Speaker 1: is in the history of life has ever said sad
- 18:47Speaker 1: people can't wear a tube top?
- 18:49Speaker 3: No, like, no, nobody has ever said that.
- 18:52Speaker 2: No one on planet Earth has ever said anything like that.
- 18:57Speaker 2: There's I just there's a lot of people who do
- 18:59Speaker 2: this thing where like they want to post something that
- 19:02Speaker 2: they're proud of, and they can't just.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Be happy about it.
- 19:07Speaker 2: They have to act like someone was hating on them first, right,
- 19:10Speaker 2: you know what I mean?
- 19:11Speaker 4: Who said sad people can't wear tutps?
- 19:13Speaker 6: No?
- 19:14Speaker 3: One literally never.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I know a lady she got a thank you
- 19:19Speaker 2: card from a student. Yeah, she supports staph out a
- 19:22Speaker 2: college or something. She posts to thank you know, and
- 19:25Speaker 2: she captions it. For all those who said this would
- 19:28Speaker 2: never happen, there were a bunch of people who said
- 19:31Speaker 2: a student would never give you a thank you note?
- 19:33Speaker 3: What are you talking about?
- 19:35Speaker 4: What are you saying to me?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Where was this meeting where a bunch of people decided,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know what, you are never going to get thank.
- 19:40Speaker 3: You card I. I don't get it.
- 19:43Speaker 4: This notion that I think maybe it's a social media thing.
- 19:47Speaker 4: If you have social.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Media, you think automatically you're an influencer, and you have haters.
- 19:51Speaker 4: I don't know what it is, but people love to
- 19:55Speaker 4: my haters.
- 19:56Speaker 2: This is for the teacher who told me I'd never
- 19:58Speaker 2: amount to anything. I highly out that a teacher went
- 20:02Speaker 2: to a kid and said you're never gonna amount to anything.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Maybe they said if you don't behave yourself, you're not
- 20:08Speaker 2: gonna do great in life, something like that.
- 20:10Speaker 4: But like that's taking it too far. Not everybody is
- 20:12Speaker 4: a hater.
- 20:13Speaker 2: You don't have haters, be so for real, you don't
- 20:16Speaker 2: have haters.
- 20:17Speaker 1: And speaking of speaking of a teacher, Angie, there's like
- 20:21Speaker 1: a teacher science influencer that you know, right, who kind
- 20:24Speaker 1: of does something like this with working out?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Oh, yes, this is crazy.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Who said a teacher couldn't get fit in their thirties?
- 20:32Speaker 3: No one, not a soul, has said that.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So if there is something that you want to post
- 20:38Speaker 1: on social media, and I'm not talking to you, I'm
- 20:41Speaker 1: talking to the person in the car next to you.
- 20:43Speaker 1: By the way, if you want to post something on
- 20:45Speaker 1: social media that you're proud of, it's totally fine. You'd
- 20:47Speaker 1: be like, hey, this was really cool and that's it
- 20:49Speaker 1: and we leave it at that.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have to say someone was hating on
- 20:53Speaker 2: you first.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Now we don't believe you.
- 20:55Speaker 1: And so for that, Angie and I are sorry, not
- 20:58Speaker 1: not sorry.
- 21:02Speaker 4: My luck tattooed.
- 21:05Speaker 1: If you had no choice, all right, you had to
- 21:07Speaker 1: do this. You had to get some song lyrics tattooed.
- 21:11Speaker 1: What's to your body? Of course, I don't know where
- 21:13Speaker 1: else you'd get them tattooed. But if you had to
- 21:14Speaker 1: get a tattoo song lyric on your body, what would
- 21:18Speaker 1: you get? Let us know it's seven oh one two
- 21:19Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven. I was talking to Angie.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I was like, Angie, know, I think I have an
- 21:23Speaker 1: idea of something i'd want to get for some song
- 21:26Speaker 1: lyrics tattooed to my body, which started this whole discussion.
- 21:31Speaker 3: And I don't know if you loved my first original idea.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I didn't. I hated it.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I kind of find it funny, like I do with
- 21:38Speaker 1: most my tattoos. To be honest, you wouldn't.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Be a fan of this. Who like the dog out?
- 21:45Speaker 3: I think that'd be perfect.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I think that is the most ridiculous tattoo idea I
- 21:52Speaker 2: have ever heard.
- 21:53Speaker 1: You get a nice picture of my dog or something,
- 21:55Speaker 1: and then you know a little who let the dogs out?
- 21:57Speaker 3: They don't.
- 21:58Speaker 4: I'm like, you know the answer, it's your.
- 22:00Speaker 1: You know what that tattoo would signal, Angie. You know
- 22:03Speaker 1: I might not be here for a long time. I'm
- 22:05Speaker 1: just here for a good time.
- 22:06Speaker 2: You know you did put this up on the big
- 22:09Speaker 2: ninety eight points up in Facebook.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Page, and we got a lot.
- 22:12Speaker 2: You know what I liked is that some people even
- 22:14Speaker 2: sent us pictures up their tattoo.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Aaron has matching tattoos.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Step that step is what that's I don't know what
- 22:23Speaker 2: that song that's from, but step that step that sounds
- 22:26Speaker 2: like you're just having like a good life.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yeah, like do the dance right exactly.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Emma has all you need is love on her
- 22:32Speaker 1: foot with some music notes.
- 22:33Speaker 3: She loves her some Beatles. I'm a big Beatles fan
- 22:36Speaker 3: as well.
- 22:36Speaker 1: There might be a Beatles lyric I could do, but see,
- 22:39Speaker 1: Brian is kind of more my style.
- 22:41Speaker 4: What did he say?
- 22:43Speaker 3: Brian said, fat bottom girls, you make the rock and
- 22:46Speaker 3: world go round.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Excellent song lyric.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I don't know that I would want that tattooed on me,
- 22:52Speaker 2: but I mean it's a conversation starter for sure.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Angie, what would you get?
- 22:58Speaker 2: You know, I was talking a lot of trash, but
- 23:00Speaker 2: I've given this some thought and this would be my
- 23:04Speaker 2: song lyric.
- 23:04Speaker 7: I don't cook, I don't clean, but let me tell you.
- 23:08Speaker 2: With an ellipsis after Yeah, oh that's what you'd get
- 23:11Speaker 2: on huh.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Here, I'm at least I'm going with the Baja man
- 23:15Speaker 1: you're giving me CARDI b h.
- 23:16Speaker 2: It's because I feel like it really speaks too I am.
- 23:20Speaker 4: If someone asks, I will give the answer.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Yeah, great conversation starter.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Uh, Stephanie has life ain't always beautiful, but it's a
- 23:29Speaker 1: beautiful ride. Tattooed on her arm so she'd get that
- 23:32Speaker 1: one that actually is a very sweet song lyric.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I like that.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I feel like you either go hilarious or something kind
- 23:39Speaker 2: of poignant, meaning.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, there's two types of people like, for example, here's
- 23:42Speaker 1: another one I would consider doing.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Again.
- 23:49Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. I'm saying I'm just here
- 23:51Speaker 3: to party.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Well, at that point, why to just get yolo tattooed
- 23:55Speaker 2: across your forehead. I wanted to rest this because I
- 24:02Speaker 2: got caught by Gabe doing something that I don't regret,
- 24:07Speaker 2: and I'm not ashamed. I just feel a little bit
- 24:10Speaker 2: embarrassed because I didn't realize I was being so obvious
- 24:13Speaker 2: about it.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it was the strangest thing when I looked over
- 24:16Speaker 1: and it's like your tongue was on the ground.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Dap, don't say that.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Oh I can't say that, my.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Bit I might well, Okay, So what happened was, you know,
- 24:25Speaker 2: we play songs obviously for your enjoyment here on Big
- 24:28Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven, and during those songs, will like
- 24:31Speaker 2: vibe out to the song, or we'll go get some
- 24:34Speaker 2: water or use the restroom, whatever we gotta do. Right,
- 24:37Speaker 2: I was just sitting hanging out and I noticed that Corey,
- 24:41Speaker 2: who's over on our sister station, Bob FMP, she was
- 24:47Speaker 2: coming out of I'm assuming the breakroom. She was walking out,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and so I would see her. We've got these big
- 24:54Speaker 2: windows so you can see everything that's happening in this
- 24:56Speaker 2: little lobby that we've got outside.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Of the studios.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I see her walking across and then turning to head
- 25:02Speaker 2: back to her studio, and I was really just drinking
- 25:08Speaker 2: in the vision that is Corey.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I I.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Guess I was ogling because I watched this entire thing transpire.
- 25:18Speaker 2: She walks all the way over and at this point,
- 25:20Speaker 2: now we have maybe like five seconds before the song
- 25:23Speaker 2: is finished and we got to crack open the mics
- 25:25Speaker 2: and put our headphones on. But Gabe, I noticed when
- 25:29Speaker 2: I turned back to my mic, is staring at me,
- 25:32Speaker 2: and he's about to put his headphones on, and.
- 25:36Speaker 4: He just quickly says, are you just checking out Corey?
- 25:41Speaker 3: And to Angie's in your defense, you were very honest.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, yeah I was. And then the song
- 25:51Speaker 2: was over and headphones on and we had to move
- 25:53Speaker 2: on with our lives. So I just want to say, yes,
- 25:57Speaker 2: I was checking Cory out.
- 25:59Speaker 1: It was one of the those scenes from like an
- 26:01Speaker 1: eighties or nineties movie where Angie was sitting in the
- 26:04Speaker 1: studio looking out of our windows watching Corey walk by,
- 26:07Speaker 1: and it was like the entire world was dark and
- 26:10Speaker 1: there was just a shining light on our wonderful, nice
- 26:13Speaker 1: coworker Corey going back to her studio. Yeah, and it
- 26:17Speaker 1: was like Angie viewed the world in slow motion for that.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like what fast times at Ridgemont High
- 26:23Speaker 2: or whatever when.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Phoebe Kate's and the Bathing City. Anyway, she just looked ethereal.
- 26:29Speaker 2: The thing behind it was she and I were talking
- 26:33Speaker 2: the other day about how we want to get in
- 26:34Speaker 2: a little bit better shaping on summer's coming. We kind
- 26:36Speaker 2: of look fine in a bikini, and so we had discussed,
- 26:39Speaker 2: you know, maybe hanging out and like working out together,
- 26:43Speaker 2: going on walks whatever.
- 26:45Speaker 4: And so when I saw.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Her, I was, you know, looking at her, and I thought,
- 26:48Speaker 2: she don't really have to do anything. This girl looks amazing,
- 26:51Speaker 2: but like cool, I'm down to work out and have
- 26:53Speaker 2: a workout buddy, But like she ain't got to do anything.
- 26:55Speaker 4: She looks dope.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Sure, well gave.
- 26:58Speaker 4: You snitched on me?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I had to tell her yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Which was nice because she actually appreciated it. And she
- 27:05Speaker 2: texted me this morning and said, want to go for
- 27:07Speaker 2: a walk tomorrow?
- 27:08Speaker 4: So all is well, I can check out Corey all
- 27:10Speaker 4: I want?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Wow, Corey s you out on a date, Hannah.
- 27:14Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 27:24Speaker 5: good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Now, normally during.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Gabe's Good News of the Day you hear these miraculous
- 27:32Speaker 1: stories of you know, people either donating their time or
- 27:35Speaker 1: some life saving surgery or what have you. And we
- 27:38Speaker 1: have kind of a different style of good news of
- 27:42Speaker 1: the day, which doesn't make it not as important. I
- 27:45Speaker 1: think this is absolutely wonderful and a big shout out
- 27:48Speaker 1: and kudos to this young lady who plays basketball for
- 27:52Speaker 1: the Bison. North Dakota State junior Avery Conan is getting
- 27:56Speaker 1: national recognition after being named one of five finalists for
- 28:02Speaker 1: the Becky Hammond Mid Major Player of the Year. She's
- 28:05Speaker 1: already been named the Summit League Player of the Year
- 28:08Speaker 1: and the Summit League Defensive Player of the Year, and
- 28:11Speaker 1: is the first player in North Dakota State Bison women's
- 28:15Speaker 1: basketball history to make the awards top five. She ranks
- 28:22Speaker 1: among the national leaders in several categories including free throw attempts,
- 28:27Speaker 1: field goal percentage, free throws made, double doubles, and total rebounds.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And she's also third all time for most points in
- 28:35Speaker 1: a season at NDSU with six hundred twenty four.
- 28:40Speaker 4: You know what, I call that a Bison batty.
- 28:43Speaker 3: That is right. Congratulations sir.
- 28:46Speaker 1: It's so cool, especially right here in our community, whether
- 28:48Speaker 1: it's you know, a more Head Spuds hockey team and
- 28:51Speaker 1: NDSU football player and NDSU basketball player, whatever it is,
- 28:54Speaker 1: it's always kind of cool when athletes right here in
- 28:57Speaker 1: our community get a little bit of that National Shy recognition.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And you got to be pretty good to do that.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So a huge congratulations to her. I think that's so cool.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I can't wait to see what happens with the award.
- 29:08Speaker 1: And this is one of those things, you know, actors
- 29:10Speaker 1: always say this, like it's just nice to be nominated.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I think this is one of those things. If she
- 29:14Speaker 1: wins it, obviously that'd be wonderrect. Yes, but to go
- 29:16Speaker 1: out or to go on throughout the rest of your
- 29:19Speaker 1: life and when you're sixty looking back and you can
- 29:21Speaker 1: be like, hey, I was one of five finalists. That's
- 29:23Speaker 1: right for Player of the Year. I think that's pretty special.
- 29:26Speaker 1: So the world is full of nice people. If you
- 29:28Speaker 1: can't find one, you gotta be one.
