  Speaker 1: bit of progress today. It felt like things kind of

  Speaker 1: started to look a little bit more like we're used

  Speaker 1: to in the running games. Some open holes, some open lanes,

  Speaker 1: couple nice carries, maybe not you know, dominant passing performance

  Speaker 1: that we might have been hoping for. But overall, it

  Speaker 1: felt like the offense looked a little bit better today,

  Speaker 1: a little bit more rhythm and I thought it really

  Speaker 1: funny coming from me, But in the running game, which

  Speaker 1: I don't normally care for, I thought there was some

  Speaker 1: creases there. I thought, particularly Romandre Stevenson. I thought shot

  Speaker 1: through a couple of gaps. Late. I thought Tie Montgomer

  Speaker 1: he had one. They're still working on a lot of

  Speaker 1: you know, different situational stuff, so it's hard to tell,

  Speaker 1: you know, if they caught him and maybe in some

  Speaker 1: third down personnel but whatever. But I thought, no, Isaiah Win,

  Speaker 1: we saw Yadney could just out there at right tackle,

  Speaker 1: and I thought things were a little bit better. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: Yannika just got good feet. Right's athletic guy. He can

  Speaker 1: You mentioned the two form Andre, the second one in particular,

  Speaker 1: I was like, that's outside zone. Like, that's what that's

  Speaker 1: on the teach tape right there, that's what it's supposed

  Speaker 1: to look like. That was probably the smoothest looking outside

  Speaker 1: zone run play that we've seen the Patriots aft through

  Speaker 1: two and a half weeks of training camp. So that

  Speaker 1: was good to see Cole Strange also making a nice

  Speaker 1: reach block on the line of scrimmage to make that

  Speaker 1: happen initially for Mondre Stevenson, which is a good sign

  Speaker 1: that the rookie starting to make some plays. And I thought,

  Speaker 1: overall today just cleaner, crisper, cleaner, more what you expect

  Speaker 1: when you come out to see the Patriots practice. Well

  Speaker 1: it wasn't all clean though. There was a little bit

  Speaker 1: of a fight brewing there with David Andrews Christian Barmore

  Speaker 1: both thrown out of course. Yesterday David Andrews Rallied the
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: troops after practice, gave them a little talking to, came
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: up in his press availability, and you know, you could
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: tell the frustration was was boiling over a little bit.

  Speaker 1: He carried that energy over today. What do you guys

  Speaker 1: think of you know, Andrews and bringing a little bit
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: of fire to the offense, probably something they needed. I

  Speaker 1: liked it, And you know, it does go back to
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: Monday and the way practice ended in Monday may have
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: been the worst day overall offensively that we've seen. And
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: I think some of the frustration was spilling over with Andrews.

  Speaker 1: He talked to the guys after the practice and then
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: she spoke to us, you know, like this, it's got
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: to get better, you know, in no uncertain terms. And
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: I thought he came out today with I don't want
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: to say that like more effort, because I don't think
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: there was an effort problem. I don't think there's been
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: an effort problem. But I think there was a little
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: bit more intensity, uh, certainly on offense than we've seen.

  Speaker 1: We didn't see those breakdowns that we've seen from the
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: offensive line. There were no runaway rushers that have been
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: a big problem, and I think Andrews was part of that.

  Speaker 1: They did some pass protection pass rush work earlier in
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: practice that sort of ended a little bit with a
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: skirmission that I think Andrews was in the middle of,
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: and then you know, he and Barb. I think Barmore
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: was a little close to Mac on one of those
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: reps and you know, don't touch Mac, don't touch Mac,
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: don't touch the Mac. And I think Andrews I think
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: showed good leadership there. And I mean I kind of
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: liked it. I liked it. I loved it. I think
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: this is exactly what you love so much about David
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: Andrews is that he brings that edge and that leadership
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: quality to the table, and it was clear that they

  Speaker 1: really needed to set the tone and have a little

  Speaker 1: bit of a different attitude up front. You know, eleven
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: ten practices or whatever. It's been getting pushed around a

  Speaker 1: little bit by the defensive front and to see them
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: kind of stand up to them a little bit today
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: and say no, today is going to be a good
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: day for us and not the way it's been so far.

  Speaker 1: That that was David Andrews. I think it was the

  Speaker 1: one that really came out and set that tone. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: a couple of you know, just little personnel notes. And know,

  Speaker 1: yesterday we talked about Marcus Jones getting a little bit
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: of run in the slot. I think I think you
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: asked Evan, didn't you ask Bill about that? Today? And

  Speaker 1: it seemed like they continue to rotate. It seemed like
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: Miles Bryan getting a little bit of shot. But still
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: I think, you know a good sign for Marcus Jones.

  Speaker 1: Jonathan Jones continues to be on the outside, so it
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: seems like they're trying to find something there. Maybe you're
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: still kind of experimenting a little bit. Maybe I think
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: a lot of the offenses that you look at, especially
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: in the division with Miami and even Buffalo to a degree,
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: but the Jets as well. There's not a ton of
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: size anymore at the wide receiver position. There's a lot
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: of everybody wants separation, right, That's what everybody wants at
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: the receiver position as speed, separation, route running ability. So

  Speaker 1: we've seen it a few times in practice that DeVante
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: Parker has gotten matched up on Jonathan Jones and Max's
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: just kind of thrown a pop up in DeVante Parker's
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: direction and he's been able to go and win that
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: hYP mismatch. But how often are you really going to
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: see that sort of mismatch across the NFL nowadays where
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: all of it is about technicians and athletes and explosive
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: players and things like that. So at the end of
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: the day, maybe you can get Jaylen Mills onto that
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: matchup or something like that and make sure you're a
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: little bit more careful. But who Jonathan Jones is lined
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: up across from. But more speed on the field is
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: a good thing. That's what they need. Absolutely couldn't agree more.

  Speaker 1: I mean, those kinds of plays with park are great,
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: and it's a nice it's nice to have another element,

  Speaker 1: But that's not what you want to rely on. You

  Speaker 1: want to have some guys that you know can win
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: some matchups and move the ball a little bit more
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: conventionally too. Well. Taekwon Thorne continues to look pretty good
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: out there as well. That'll do it for us today
