  Acts chapter 3. Let us pray, oh Heavenly Father,

  here we are again, Lord. We are desirous for your
• 0:12
  teachings, Lord. We're desirous to please your
• 0:16
  holy heart, Lord. We are desirous to be vessels
• 0:19
  that you pour into so that we can be poured out into our
• 0:23
  families and neighborhoods. Lord, I pray in the name of
• 0:26
  Jesus God, that we will be laid down, sold out, lovers of the
• 0:31
  way. God, I pray that you'll empower
• 0:34
  us to love you more. I pray that you will be well
• 0:38
  pleased with the reading of your text today, with your words
• 0:43
  spoken into the atmosphere spoken over this generation.
• 0:49
  God, I pray that as we read your words, God, I pray that it
• 0:53
  changes the world. I pray that as these words get
• 0:58
  spoken, God, that they go deep down into the soil and produce
• 1:02
  much fruit. God, I pray that we can walk in
• 1:05
  our bridal identity. Lord, I pray that you, Father,
• 1:10
  will be the one who's in full control, That you, Lord, will
• 1:15
  have your will and have your way in our lives.
• 1:17
  God, let us get out of the way. Let us stop with our own futile
• 1:23
  efforts. God, I pray that we will succumb
• 1:27
  to the reality that you are in full control over all things
• 1:33
  everywhere that nothing is without your pre knowledge
• 1:40
  without your consent. And so God, we just say yes and
• 1:46
  Amen to all of your ways Lord, even the ways that we don't
• 1:51
  agree with or understand even the ways God that are hard for
• 1:56
  us and our carnal thinking. God, I pray that we will just
• 2:01
  say yes and Amen, and that we will believe in every single
• 2:06
  syllable, every single jot, every single title, all of your
• 2:11
  words from Genesis to Revelation.
• 2:14
  God, I pray in the name of Jesus for supernatural understanding.
• 2:19
  I pray in the name of Jesus for supernatural healing from on
• 2:22
  high. Heal our bodies, God, heal our
• 2:25
  minds. God, heal our families.
• 2:28
  God, I pray you'll heal our churches.
• 2:34
  Lord, I pray that they're full. I pray that people come in
• 2:39
  droves to learn about you, to study your holy Scriptures, to
• 2:45
  know more about the depths that are available to them.
• 2:48
  Lord, we've only scratched the surface of what you want to do.
• 2:53
  Father, I want to go to new heights.
• 2:56
  Lord, I want to go to new depths of your love, Lord.
• 3:01
  Lord, I want to see you on every page.
• 3:04
  I want to see you on every day, God, I want to see you in every
• 3:08
  conversation. Lord, we desire more of you,
• 3:12
  God. We have tasted and we have seen
• 3:14
  and we desire the fullness of what you have for us, God.
• 3:19
  So let us get out of the way, King Jesus, or you take your
• 3:23
  rightful seat on the throne of our hearts and minds.
• 3:27
  God, we sell everything. We lock eyes with you.
• 3:32
  God, we let go of all of our own understanding, all of our
• 3:37
  degrees and diplomas. God, we let go of all of our
• 3:43
  ways of how we think this life should go.
• 3:46
  And God, we just get in line with what the Holy Scriptures
• 3:49
  tell us. Lord, I thank you for these
• 3:53
  eternal words. Lord, I thank you that you were
• 3:56
  well pleased to give us the full counsel of Scripture.
• 4:01
  I thank you, God, that this is alive and active and it's
• 4:05
  reading us, Lord, and I just pray that it will draw out the
• 4:09
  things that don't belong in our lives, any of our own traditions
• 4:14
  and ceremony, any of our own bylaws, any of our own
• 4:20
  programmed thinking of how you operate.
• 4:24
  God, I pray that we can be emptied to be filled with the
• 4:28
  Holy Ghost. Fill us today from on high.
• 4:31
  God, empower us to take the whole word to the whole world.
• 4:35
  God give us sound doctrine. God give us our theology.
• 4:39
  God, give us divine counsel, Lord, and I just pray that
• 4:43
  people will get saved in the name of Jesus Christ by the
• 4:47
  reading of your word, not by power and not by might, but by
• 4:52
  the Spirit of God. Your Spirit.
• 4:54
  God breathed on us, Lord, and I just pray that you'll help us,
• 4:59
  Lord, too. Know our worth and know our
• 5:02
  dignity and know our inheritance and know that where you are, we
• 5:06
  will be. And we are more than conquerors,
• 5:09
  God, and we are peacemakers in the midst of this chaotic
• 5:13
  generation, Lord, I pray that we can silence all the accusations
• 5:17
  of the enemy, Lord, and we can sit in your presence and know
• 5:21
  that you're God. And listen for that still small
• 5:24
  voice today, Father, that's roaring, the lion of Judah
• 5:28
  roaring over our lives. Jesus Christ be magnified.
• 5:33
  Jesus Christ be lifted high over our emotions and circumstances,
• 5:38
  our feelings, our finances, our schools, our courtrooms.
• 5:44
  God, Jesus Christ be magnified and lifted up, exalted over the
• 5:48
  globe, Father, over the universe.
• 5:51
  You are the King of the universe and we love you.
• 5:54
  King Jesus, we serve you. King Jesus, we want more of you.
• 5:59
  King Jesus, we come into the throne room boldly today.
• 6:04
  Lord, we don't grovel as servants, we come in as friends.
• 6:09
  And Lord, we want to dine and Sup with you.
• 6:11
  We want to sit at the table. Lord, we want to see you face to
• 6:16
  face. Lord, we want to break bread and
• 6:18
  drink your blood and eat your flesh today, Father, your word
• 6:24
  became flesh. So we dine sumptuously, God, we,
• 6:30
  we don't go for crumbs today, Lord.
• 6:32
  We want the fullness, God. We want to be satiated, God, and
• 6:37
  saturated, Lord, we want you and we want you alone.
• 6:43
  We're pushing back on the systems of the world.
• 6:46
  We're pushing back on Mammon. We're pushing back on our own
• 6:50
  emotions. We're pushing back on all of the
• 6:53
  negative things that are coming our way, trying to drown us,
• 6:57
  Lord, and to choke out the fruitfulness that you have for
• 7:02
  us, Lord. We push back on all of that.
• 7:04
  God, we bind the enemy today in the name of Jesus Christ.
• 7:08
  We cast him into the judgment that you have awaiting for him
• 7:12
  and for all of the demonic hosts.
• 7:13
  God, in the name of Jesus, we tread on the head of the
• 7:18
  serpent. God, we crush the enemy in the
• 7:21
  name of Jesus. Lord, we put our heel on the
• 7:24
  neck of the enemy. God, we take every single
• 7:28
  thought captive, Lord, and we come up to new heights with you
• 7:31
  today, Lord, we ascend into the heavens with you today.
• 7:35
  God, we are able to walk on water today with you.
• 7:38
  Father, we come out of the boat today, Lord, and we say yes and
• 7:42
  Amen to all of your ways, to all of your thoughts.
• 7:46
  Lord, whatever you have desired for this little life that you
• 7:49
  have given us, Lord, help us be found doing all the things that
• 7:53
  you've called us into today. The fullness and the abundance
• 7:56
  that you have for us today, because it's all about you.
• 7:59
  Lord Jesus, we love you and it's in your holy and precious and
• 8:04
  righteous name that I pray. Amen.
• 8:10
  Let's start in verse one. Now Peter and John went up
• 8:15
  together into the temple at the hour of prayer being the 9th
• 8:19
  hour. So here goes Peter and John.
• 8:22
  These are two of the heavyweight champions of the gospels.
• 8:29
  You can see that they were part of Jesus's inner circle.
• 8:32
  They were got to witness all kinds of miraculous healings of
• 8:37
  dead people back to life. They got to see the Mount of
• 8:40
  Transfiguration. And here they are after his
• 8:43
  bodily ascension into heaven at the right hand of God.
• 8:46
  Here they are in Acts 3, and they're about to start stirring
• 8:50
  up the masses just like their master did.
• 8:55
  They're they're about to walk in obedience.
• 8:59
  And it's the same call that you and I have.
• 9:01
  We've got to be so incredibly childlike that we believe that
• 9:06
  God can do anything. And that's what you're going to
• 9:08
  see in this story is that Peter and John, they were just men
• 9:12
  like you and like me, but they saw him, they walked with him,
• 9:16
  they were with him. And I pray that that's your
• 9:18
  story today, two friends. I pray that you are with him.
• 9:22
  I pray that people identify you with him.
• 9:25
  I pray that that is your identity is the Lord Jesus
• 9:29
  Christ. And here Peter, and here John,
• 9:32
  they're walking up bold, they've left the upper room, they've
• 9:36
  been empowered from on high with the Holy Ghost, they're full of
• 9:39
  the Spirit, and they walk boldly into the temple here. 2 And a
• 9:45
  certain man, lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom
• 9:49
  they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called
• 9:52
  beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.
• 9:58
  So here was a common beggar. He would be laid there at the
• 10:02
  front of the gate. This was a 75 foot brass gate.
• 10:07
  This was double doored and it was unlike the rest of the gates
• 10:12
  around there. That is why it was called
• 10:15
  beautiful, made out of Corinthian brass.
• 10:18
  And here this beggar would sit and he would ask for any kind of
• 10:26
  blessings, any kind of handouts, as we would call in our day
• 10:31
  Three, who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the
• 10:35
  temple, asked in alms. He's asking for a little bit of
• 10:39
  change. Four.
• 10:41
  And Peter fastened his eyes upon him with John and said, look on
• 10:47
  us. So here is this man that is lame
• 10:51
  who's laid there daily so that he can beg for a little bit of
• 10:55
  money. And here you see Peter, and he
• 11:01
  tells him, look at us 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting
• 11:08
  to receive something of them. So here this man thinks that
• 11:13
  he's just dealing with normal people who have seared their
• 11:17
  conscience, who are just going in through the ritual tradition,
• 11:23
  that they're just going through all of the ceremonial rituals.
• 11:28
  And he didn't realize that he was looking at two men that were
• 11:32
  sold out to the way. 6 And Peter said, silver and gold, I have
• 11:41
  none, but such as I have, I give you in the name of Jesus Christ
• 11:47
  of Nazareth, rise up and walk. So it is the name that is above
• 11:53
  all names. It is the name of Jesus Christ
• 11:56
  that has the power to make lame men walk and leap like a
• 12:01
  gazelle. And it is still available to you
• 12:04
  and to me today. Friends, there is no section of
• 12:08
  the gifts. Friends, we have the name that
• 12:12
  is above all names. The only name that can save, the
• 12:17
  only name that can heal. It is the only power that we
• 12:22
  have available to us is through Jesus Christ name, Jesus of
• 12:27
  Nazareth. Friends, that is where all the
• 12:30
  power in the whole universe is contained.
• 12:33
  It is the name that makes darkness flee.
• 12:36
  It is the name that makes the demonic shake and tremble and
• 12:41
  leave your residence. Leave your temple, friends.
• 12:45
  Bring that name upon your lips today and be saved.
• 12:49
  Bring the name of Jesus Christ into the middle of the hospital
• 12:53
  room. Bring the name of Jesus Christ
• 12:56
  into the middle of the accident. Bring the name of Jesus Christ
• 13:01
  into the middle of the accident. Bring the name of Jesus Christ
• 13:06
  into the middle of the workplace.
• 13:08
  Bring the name of Jesus Christ into the middle of your office.
• 13:13
  Bring the name of Jesus Christ into the middle of your car.
• 13:17
  You bring that name upon your lips and watch all darkness
• 13:21
  flee. There is no power.
• 13:23
  There's no name that is greater than the name of Jesus Christ.
• 13:27
  And that is what Peter and John understood, that it was by that
• 13:31
  name that this man could be healed.
• 13:34
  And there are times where we believe with all of our heart,
• 13:37
  with all of our mind, with all of our strength that the name of
• 13:41
  Jesus Christ is enough. And we stretch out and we
• 13:45
  proclaim that name over somebodies life over there
• 13:49
  healing over their body. And the healing doesn't come.
• 13:53
  And we would do well to not be offended.
• 13:55
  We should always assume that Jesus Christ desires to heal
• 13:59
  somebody, but when he doesn't, we should not fall away or try
• 14:03
  to change our theology. It doesn't change the fact that
• 14:07
  that is the only name that can make a lame man walk.
• 14:11
  But if he desires to leave them in that situation, it is for
• 14:14
  more glory. And it is not for us to try to
• 14:17
  understand or to try to change any of our doctrine around,
• 14:24
  because Jesus didn't heal. We know that He can, and we know
• 14:27
  that He is willing. So all we have to do is call
• 14:30
  upon that name and watch the miracles happen. 7 And he took
• 14:37
  him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet
• 14:41
  and ankle bones receive strength.
• 14:43
  This was miraculous. Friends 8 And he leaping, stood
• 14:50
  and walked and entered with them into the temple, walking and
• 14:54
  leaping and praising God. Of course he praised God.
• 14:58
  This man was lame. He was 40 years old.
• 15:03
  This man sat daily. Everyone knew him and saw him.
• 15:08
  And here he is leaping and praising God.
• 15:10
  And that is our response whenever the healing comes.
• 15:13
  It's not the minister, it's not the administer, it's not the
• 15:19
  disciple who gets any credit. It's God and God and God alone.
• 15:24
  It is through the name of Jesus Christ that this person was
• 15:28
  healed. It's not because any man has any
• 15:32
  merit. It is just because we have
• 15:35
  emptied ourselves of ourselves and we're full of the Holy Ghost
• 15:39
  and full of the Lord Jesus Christ and full of God Almighty
• 15:43
  in our midst. And I, I pray that that is your
• 15:46
  story. I pray that you have that you
• 15:48
  have broken up the fallow ground, that you have invited
• 15:51
  him in, in the fullness, not just in your own understanding,
• 15:55
  but in the ways that he desires to come in and purify you, to
• 15:59
  come in and purge out the dross, to come in and put you in the
• 16:03
  refiners fire. But so many of us were not
• 16:06
  willing to go there. So many of us, we only want
• 16:09
  enough of him so that we do not have to go to hell.
• 16:12
  And we keep trading our birthright like Esau.
• 16:16
  We keep squandering and searing our conscience, and we keep
• 16:21
  going down these paths of the world and the systems of the
• 16:25
  world and the ways of Mammon, friends.
• 16:28
  And we are not truly accurately walking with Him in the fullness
• 16:34
  that He has available to us, friends.
• 16:41
  And they knew that it was He which sat for alms at the
• 16:44
  beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder
• 16:48
  and amazement at that which had happened unto Him.
• 16:52
  Of course they were. This was nothing that any man
• 16:57
  could ever do. No physician, no doctor.
• 16:59
  It was only by the name of Jesus Christ that this miracle
• 17:03
  happened. 11 And as the lame man, which was healed, he held
• 17:08
  Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the
• 17:13
  porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering, do you
• 17:18
  remember when Jesus was walking along this Solomon's porch, and
• 17:22
  he was goaded and prodded by the religious leaders?
• 17:27
  And here we are, we see a full circle.
• 17:30
  And here's Peter and John and this man's holding on to them.
• 17:35
  He is enamored by them, but they're going to make, they're
• 17:39
  going to set the stage and they're going to make everything
• 17:42
  clear to them that it is not about Peter and it is not about
• 17:46
  John. And they're going to give their
• 17:47
  master his due glory. And This is why they are called
• 17:51
  the apostles, because they were emboldened in their faith.
• 17:55
  They did not shrink back. They didn't stay shaken in their
• 17:58
  boots in the upper room once they had received the Holy
• 18:01
  Ghost. Here they go.
• 18:03
  They're going out. They can't help but to proclaim
• 18:06
  the name of Jesus Christ to the masses.
• 18:08
  No matter what happens to them. They count it all as joy.
• 18:13
  And I pray that's your story today.
• 18:15
  I pray that that's where you're at with the Lord today.
• 18:17
  I pray that you're not scared of getting fired from your job.
• 18:23
  I pray that you're not scared of a legal movement that somebody's
• 18:28
  going to sue you for the name of Jesus Christ or using Jesus
• 18:33
  Christ in a public manner. I pray that you're not afraid of
• 18:39
  them that can kill the body. I pray that you are only bowed
• 18:44
  down low and in reverent fear and wonder and awe over God
• 18:49
  Almighty, the one who can not only kill the body, but cast
• 18:53
  your soul into eternal damnation.
• 18:56
  I pray that we are sold out, lay down lovers willing to do
• 19:00
  whatever He calls us into, no matter the consequences.
• 19:05
  Friends, that is our marching orders.
• 19:08
  That is what we are called into. And so many people try to save
• 19:12
  their skin. So many people only want enough
• 19:15
  of Jesus that they do not have to suffer any kind of
• 19:20
  persecution, whether it's outright persecution, subtle
• 19:24
  persecution, financial persecution.
• 19:28
  And we need to know that he is worthy of our laid down lives,
• 19:33
  He's worthy of our sacrifice. He's worthy of any kind of
• 19:39
  martyrdom that he calls us into friends.
• 19:42
  And that's not a popular thought.
• 19:44
  That is not something that most people are comfortable with, and
• 19:48
  rightfully so, So friends, but we need to get to that place
• 19:51
  that whatever he calls us into, we are willing to go wherever
• 19:56
  that is to whatever people group that is the unreached people,
• 20:01
  groups that are hostile, the ones that are outright hostile
• 20:08
  towards Christianity, the ones that are in.
• 20:12
  Such sin that they will not listen.
• 20:16
  We need to know that God is calling out to the whole world
• 20:19
  and He desires to use you. He desires to use me.
• 20:23
  He desires to use this generation to reach all people
• 20:27
  groups over the entire globe. We need to be found doing the
• 20:31
  Lord's work today. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto
• 20:39
  the people. You men of Israel, why marvel
• 20:42
  you at this? Or why look so earnestly on us,
• 20:47
  as though by our own power or holiness we've made this man to
• 20:51
  walk? So he makes sure to give the
• 20:53
  Lord his due credit. They have not done anything but
• 20:58
  emptied themselves of themselves.
• 21:01
  These are just unlearned men, ignorant, and they're so
• 21:05
  ignorant that they actually believe the words on these
• 21:09
  pages. And I pray that's your story.
• 21:12
  I pray that you have not been so saturated by culture and so
• 21:20
  saturated by this world that you have talked yourself out of the
• 21:27
  childlike faith that it requires to enter into the Kingdom of
• 21:31
  God. This academia needs to go by the
• 21:35
  wayside. It is not by our understanding
• 21:41
  that we come to the Lord. It is by our childlike faith
• 21:45
  believing ABBA can do anything. 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac,
• 21:54
  and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son
• 21:58
  Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied him in the presence of
• 22:03
  Pilate when he was determined to let him go.
• 22:06
  So here Peter's about to wax eloquently.
• 22:10
  Peter's about to take them to the woodshed.
• 22:14
  He's about to take them to task friends, and he's about to show
• 22:18
  them their fault. Show them how they have acted
• 22:24
  ignorantly towards the Lord Jesus Christ.
• 22:28
  Pilate desired to let him go, but what did they say?
• 22:31
  This would have been recent. This would have been right after
• 22:35
  the recent events of Jesus's whole trial and execution and
• 22:41
  resurrection and His bodily appearance for 40 days, and then
• 22:47
  His ascension. This would have been right after
• 22:50
  all of that. This shows you that they were
• 22:53
  empowered from on high, because they go out and they go right
• 22:57
  into the temple, and they are speaking very boldly to all the
• 23:01
  religious leaders. Pilate wanted to let him go, but
• 23:05
  they delivered him to him. 14 But you denied the Holy One and
• 23:10
  the just, and desired A murderer to be granted unto you.
• 23:15
  So here Jesus Christ is called the Holy One.
• 23:18
  Here Jesus Christ is called the just and that is part of His
• 23:27
  identity, His facets of who he is.
• 23:30
  This multi faceted part of who Jesus Christ is.
• 23:34
  He is the Holy One and there is no justice outside of Jesus
• 23:39
  Christ. We get our justice system from
• 23:45
  Jesus Christ. We get all the laws of the land
• 23:48
  from Jesus Christ. He is the just.
• 23:52
  He's the holy. 115 and killed the Prince of life whom God has
• 23:59
  raised from the dead. Where we are witnesses, there's
• 24:02
  their apostleship. They're witnesses unto what has
• 24:05
  happened. God did raise him from the dead.
• 24:09
  Jesus is the Prince of life. Think about that.
• 24:13
  That's another name, the Prince of Life, the just, the Holy, 116
• 24:20
  and his name, through faith in his name, has made this man
• 24:27
  strong whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is by him
• 24:35
  has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you
• 24:39
  all. It is the name of Jesus Christ
• 24:41
  that only has the power to make the lame walk, the blind to see,
• 24:47
  the deaf to hear. It is only that name that can
• 24:51
  bring people back from the dead. It is only that name that can
• 24:54
  heal the cancer in your body. It is only that name that can
• 24:59
  make your mental illness into a sound mind.
• 25:02
  It is only that name that can cause the addiction to fall off
• 25:06
  of you, the alcoholism and the drug addiction and the pill
• 25:10
  popping to fall off of you friends.
• 25:13
  It is only that name that can make the wayward child come
• 25:16
  home. It is only that name that can
• 25:19
  bring the peace in your home that you desire.
• 25:21
  It is only that name, friends, that can get you out of all of
• 25:26
  the pit in the muck, in the mire that you find yourself in today.
• 25:31
  It is the name of Jesus Christ that can make us strong, and it
• 25:35
  is in our weakness that He has made strong. 17 And now,
• 25:39
  brothers, I want that through ignorance you did it, as did
• 25:46
  also your rulers, he says. I know that you were ignorant
• 25:50
  because you didn't take the time to actually come to him
• 25:54
  honestly. You were being ruled over by mob
• 25:59
  rule. You were scared that the Romans
• 26:01
  were going to take our land and take our temple and take all of
• 26:05
  our heritage away. 18 But those things which God before had
• 26:13
  showed by the mouth of all his prophets that Christ should
• 26:16
  suffer, he has so fulfilled. So they were looking for a
• 26:20
  political ruler, and they were not looking for the suffering
• 26:24
  servant. And that is where they erred,
• 26:28
  because he came in his first advent to take away the sin of
• 26:33
  the world. He's coming back in his second
• 26:36
  advent to do away with all evil, to throw the beast and the false
• 26:44
  prophet into the lake of fire, to take Satan and bind him for
• 26:48
  1000 years, and to implement the millennial reign on planet Earth
• 26:55
  where everyone will flow into Jerusalem to learn about Jesus
• 26:59
  Christ is what he's coming back in his second advent to do.
• 27:03
  And there's going to be the Battle of Armageddon where all
• 27:05
  the evil armies of the world are amassed and he destroys them
• 27:09
  with the breath of his mouth. It's easy for him friends, but
• 27:13
  they were looking for that 2nd advent and they missed him in
• 27:17
  his first advent. And if they would have been
• 27:19
  reading scripture, they would have been like Simeon and Anna.
• 27:24
  If they would have actually understood the words of God from
• 27:29
  Genesis all the way to Malachi, then they would have known that
• 27:32
  the Savior of the world must come and to suffer first and
• 27:38
  then be glorified. 19 Repent. You therefore be converted, that
• 27:48
  your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing
• 27:53
  shall come from the presence of the Lord.
• 27:56
  Praise God. Hallelujah.

  We all need to understand this is the Lord's plan for the ages.

  This is His will for our lives, for today, for this day, for
• 28:18
  such a time as this. Friends, He desires for times of
• 28:24
  refreshing to come and they can start now and they will be in
• 28:27
  that Millennium time. We need to confess our sins.
• 28:34
  We need to turn away from all of our sinful activities.
• 28:39
  We need to turn from our sinful thoughts.
• 28:43
  We need to turn from all of our sinful actions.
• 28:46
  We need to turn to Jesus Christ, receive the forgiveness that
• 28:51
  only comes from the blood that He shed on the cross.
• 28:55
  We need to be converted, friends.
• 28:58
  We need to be from death into life, from being blind into

  So he's coming back, friends, and we're closer today than we

  All of creation is groaning and waiting for him to come back and

  there was no death and decay. And he's saying that God spoke

  all of it, and he's been telling us ever since Adam and Eve, he's

  been telling us what his plan is.

  But we get so incredibly delusional because we Make Love

  decisions for this world and for Mammon.

  We Make Love decisions for evil. We Make Love decisions for self
• 31:23
  and vanity. And we operate in the spirit of
• 31:26
  fear and we try to save our skin and we have cowardice friends
• 31:30
  and lust in our hearts. And we satisfy the lust and then
• 31:35
  we fall away. And that is what he's warning US
• 31:38
  against. That ever since the world began,
• 31:41
  he's made it clear and plain, and we need to make sure that we
• 31:47
  come to him in that childlike faith and receive these words at
• 31:51
  face value. 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, a prophet
• 31:59
  shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brothers like
• 32:03
  unto me, Him shall you hear in all things, whatsoever he shall
• 32:08
  say unto you. 23 And it shall come to pass that every soul

  which will not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among

  the people. That is what happens whenever

  the gospel of Jesus Christ gets preached.

  And if you will not receive it by faith, you have sealed your

  fate for eternal separation from God Almighty.

  You have blasphemed the Spirit while the Spirit of God was

  moving amongst you. Why The Spirit of God was

  drawing you? Why God was drawing you unto

  himself? 24 Yeah, and all the prophets

  from Samuel, and those that follow after, as many as have

  spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

  So Peter here is showing them that they murdered their Messiah

  and all the Old Testament pointed to him and they refused

  to see him and they murdered all the prophets.

  And Jesus told them the parable of the landowner, and he showed

  them that they killed the Son because they wanted the
• 33:28
  inheritance of the land. And you can see here that Peter

  understood the Scriptures at this point, and he's walking

  them through all the Old Testament to show them that
• 33:41
  Jesus is the Christ, Jesus is the Messiah, and that they
• 33:46
  murdered him. But it must have been so because
• 33:49
  it was the plan of the ages for his blood to be spilled for you
• 33:54
  and for me. And if we were the only ones on
• 33:56
  planet earth that would have ever given our lives to him,
• 33:59
  he'd do it again. Friends 25 You are the children
• 34:04
  of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with our
• 34:07
  Father, saying unto Abraham, And in your seed shall all the
• 34:12
  kindreds of the earth be blessed.
• 34:16
  So the Jews here are getting their blessing through the
• 34:22
  father of faith, Abraham. And they thought that because of
• 34:26
  their connection and lineage to Abraham that they could not go
• 34:30
  to hell. And they thought through their
• 34:32
  lineage to Abraham that they were secure in the land, that no
• 34:38
  one could come against them. And that is where they erred,
• 34:41
  because God desired for them to be the priest for the whole
• 34:46
  world and to point the whole world unto him.
• 34:49
  And that is what will happen in the Millennium, is that
• 34:54
  Jerusalem will be the center of the world, the geopolitical
• 34:58
  center of the world. And that is why it is such a
• 35:02
  hotly contested geographical place today.
• 35:06
  That is why it is mainstream news today.
• 35:08
  That is why there is so many people who are blasphemously
• 35:13
  talking against God's holy people.
• 35:16
  And we need to do well to bless them, friends, to stand with
• 35:20
  them, friends. And just like in this day, at
• 35:23
  this time that we're reading about here in Acts 3, we do not
• 35:27
  have to agree with them, but just know that all of it is in
• 35:32
  God's eternal plan. And he knows what he's doing and
• 35:35
  he's moving everything along exactly in accordance with Holy
• 35:40
  Scriptures, with prophecies. And it does not mean that
• 35:43
  there's a moral approach to God's Word.

  And this calls for understanding that we just get out of the way
• 35:57
  and let God be God. And his ways are not our ways,
• 36:01
  friends. But we know that He's already
• 36:04
  written about it, and it pleased him to show us all the things
• 36:08
  that will happen. But we're ignorant of the word

  of God. We don't know the word of God.

  And So what do we do? We try to approach God from a

  human understanding of how we would operate.

  And it just shows the evil intent inside of our hearts

  whenever we black blasphemy against God, blasphemy against

  Jesus Christ, and whenever we kick down his chosen people,

  we'll end on 26 hunt to you first, God, having raised up his

  Son Jesus sent him to bless you in turning away every one of you

  from his iniquities. That was the whole purpose of

  the whole thing of the whole matter is that Jesus Christ came

  to turn them away from sin and self, to turn them away from

  their destruction and turn them to life and life abundant.

  And it's available to you and it's available to me.

  And if you are indwelled with the Holy Spirit, the prophets of

  old long to see this day and you have it available to you.

  And what are you doing with it? You've got the Lamborghini

  inside of you and you're taking it down the strip at 5 miles an

  hour. We need to get out on the open
• 37:33
  road and we need to make sure that we are found at full
• 37:40
  throttle through this life because it's going to be short.

  The brevity of life was the biggest surprise to Billy Graham

  at the end of his life. He couldn't believe how fast it

  went. And look at what he

  faithfully today, that you're in tune with Him today, that you're
