Speaker A: Welcome to Mini Meditations. I'm Jennifer James, co host of the Common Mystics podcast. In this series, we'll be taking a few moments out of our busy lives to dive into the transformative power of meditation. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting to explore the world of mindfulness, I'm here to guide you through quick and effective meditative practices that can help you manifest your ideal life one moment at a time. Today, we will embark on a journey to connect with a Spirit guide. Have you ever needed divine intercession but did not know where to turn? Many of us believe that spirit guides are part of our heavenly team. Some spirit guides may be assigned to us for our entire life. Others may be assigned to assist for short periods of time to help us navigate specific challenges in our lives. If you are looking for some guidance from Spirit, look no further. This mini guided meditation is for you. Let's begin with setting an intention. Ask yourself, what challenges am I currently facing in my life? Where do I need guidance? And what obstacles are hindering my path to my greatest good? Reflect on these questions and clarify what you are seeking help with. Ask for a Spirit Guide to meet you today in a form that is comforting and familiar to you on this meditative journey. Now, find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, and gently close your eyes.

Speaker B: A warm golden light streaming down from the heavens. It surrounds you, wrapping you in its peaceful embrace. This light brings love and protection, creating a safe space for you. With each breath, feel yourself become more relaxed, bathing in the golden light and letting go of any tension or worries. Now, in your mind's eye, imagine gazing up at the beautiful blue sky. And as you do, you notice an elevator gracefully descending. In an instant, it stops before you and the doors open to reveal an interior bathed in a heavenly golden glow. You step inside the elevator and you feel safe and protected. The doors close smoothly and you feel yourself ascending. And as you do, you feel lighter and lighter and more and more at peace. The elevator comes to a gentle stop and as the doors part, they reveal.

Speaker B: Stepping out, you notice a path stretching ahead. You proceed onto the path, gazing forward, and soon discern a familiar figure approaching. Instinctively, you recognize this presence as a spirit guide here to meet you. You feel their presence with you, offering support and wisdom. Take some time now to formulate questions in your mind, to share your troubles and to listen closely with your heart for any messages that your guide might convey.

Speaker B: Spend a few more moments here in this sacred space and as you do, absorb all the love and guidance offered by this connection. When you are ready, thank your spirit guide and turn towards the elevator waiting for you. Once again you enter the elevator car bathed in light. The doors close and you begin to descend slowly. With each breath you feel more and more grounded and connected to your physical body. Begin to bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings, gently wiggling your fingers and toes. When you feel ready, open your eyes, feeling grateful for the time spent with.
