- 0:00Speaker 1: The following content does not reflect the opinions of Fox
- 0:03Speaker 1: Sports Radio. The guy who picked up this show has
- 0:05Speaker 1: already been fired.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Alright, alright, Yo Yo Yo and Toyo live from Philly.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's the number one rated Paully and Tony.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Fools show, Yo Yo Yo as always, Polly Foosco here
- 0:24Speaker 2: with Tony Fosco and.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Tony Yo huge shouted, unbelievable show. We're gonna tell you.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Why we don't want the Eagles to have home field advance. No,
- 0:35Speaker 2: and a non MVP candidate Brock Party just said something
- 0:40Speaker 2: that should disturb every Niners fan.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So why the Broncos just made an absolutely bone headed.
- 0:48Speaker 1: These people have no idea what they're done.
- 0:50Speaker 2: First, bigger news, a breaking development on our show. You
- 0:54Speaker 2: know last week we told you this show is a
- 0:56Speaker 2: finalist in the Sports Podcast Awards Best Sports Comedy. Now,
- 1:03Speaker 2: this show is clearly not a comedy. So we've been
- 1:06Speaker 2: trying to figure out what's going on over here and here. Yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 2: we realized it was our idiot producer Jay who submitted it.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Of course, who else could it be?
- 1:17Speaker 3: No, I did it that way because there was no
- 1:19Speaker 3: category for most Embarrassing Podcast.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Oh well, you know what category you're going to be in, cadavers.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Frankly, I hope you win this award so you realize
- 1:33Speaker 3: what a joke the show is.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Oh yeah, well, if you want to see a joke,
- 1:38Speaker 4: just look inside your pants.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Oh, get out of here, get lost. And by the way,
- 1:44Speaker 1: what are you doing talking? Yeah, get out of here,
- 1:46Speaker 1: Get out of here. Get trying to do a show here? Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 1: nobody wants to see you. You know, sports podcast thing.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Look an awards an award, fine, you know we'll take it,
- 1:56Speaker 2: you know, just to totally own everyone else in that category.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I yes, you know.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Go to click the link in the bottom of the
- 2:02Speaker 2: description here, make sure you sign up and vote.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Okay, yep.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Anyway, you aren't going to let our producer ruin the
- 2:09Speaker 2: show because we have some very special business.
- 2:12Speaker 1: That is such an exciting show. My year End Awards.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Every forward to it all year when we present the
- 2:19Speaker 2: hardware to all the luminaries and the blogs. You know,
- 2:22Speaker 2: who shine the brightest this year? I mean not as
- 2:25Speaker 2: bright as we shined, of course, but you know they are.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Not even close. But you know, look, they're all runners
- 2:30Speaker 4: up when you think about it.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Great point that Tony, and you know, on the subject
- 2:35Speaker 2: of things to think about, it's time for an ad
- 2:38Speaker 2: for our good friends at crunch Fitness. Do you want
- 2:42Speaker 2: to get in shape this new year or do you
- 2:44Speaker 2: want to keep on being a lazy fuck? Well, the
- 2:47Speaker 2: answer is simple, then crunch Fitness.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 4: My aunt Marie and her boyfriend Nuncio love going to
- 2:54Speaker 4: Crunch Fitness, especially for the camaraderie. They love sitting up
- 2:59Speaker 4: in there and the sauna together. Nuncio even said, my
- 3:03Speaker 4: aunt loves being surrounded by so many pumped up hard members.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And actually, you know what, let's just finish another time
- 3:11Speaker 1: on there. Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Anyway, let's go to crunch fitness dot com. They use
- 3:15Speaker 2: the promo code fusco and get your first month free
- 3:18Speaker 2: when you sign a twenty year contract. Offer only valid
- 3:22Speaker 2: in Guam. Yeah, the check in the mail, Yeah, checks
- 3:26Speaker 2: in the mail. And you know what we going, Tony.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Our top story story, Yeah, first out the gate, the
- 3:34Speaker 2: forty nine Ers getting blown out by the Ravens, just
- 3:37Speaker 2: as we predicted. If you don't remember us saying that,
- 3:40Speaker 2: well that's on your tats on Uri. But the biggest
- 3:43Speaker 2: story here forty nine Ers quarterback Brock Purty came into
- 3:47Speaker 2: the game against the Ravens as the leading pick for MVP,
- 3:50Speaker 2: mainly by morons, and now after throwing four picks, he's
- 3:54Speaker 2: considered statistically one of the worst quarterbacks we call the NFL.
- 3:59Speaker 2: But this has made people see everything in a whole
- 4:03Speaker 2: different light.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Has in it one hundred percent. You know, people blamed
- 4:07Speaker 4: the Eagles last year when Brock Purdy got knocked out
- 4:10Speaker 4: of the NFC Championship, but now people are seeing that
- 4:13Speaker 4: the Eagles were actually trying to help the forty nine ers,
- 4:17Speaker 4: you know, just to keep the game somewhat competitive. As
- 4:21Speaker 4: officials spokespeople for the Eagles, we will say that if
- 4:24Speaker 4: the Niners want us to knock Rock Purty out of
- 4:27Speaker 4: any potential playoff game, we will be more than happy
- 4:31Speaker 4: to do so.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And by the way, you know, that wasn't Rock Perty's
- 4:36Speaker 2: only rough performance that day. You know, in the postgame presser,
- 4:39Speaker 2: Party told reporters that he knows he needs to improve
- 4:43Speaker 2: his play and said, quote, I have to look myself
- 4:46Speaker 2: in the mirror and.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Ask why or how that happened.
- 4:50Speaker 2: And Tony, this is very problematic, isn't it extremely?
- 4:55Speaker 4: Rock Party clearly doesn't realize that if he looks at
- 4:58Speaker 4: himself in the mirror, everything is gonna be backwards. Left
- 5:02Speaker 4: is gonna be right, right is gonna be left. That's
- 5:05Speaker 4: only gonna make running plays even more confusing. I think
- 5:09Speaker 4: this is a very poor leadership choice and truly shows
- 5:13Speaker 4: Perty is heading in the wrong direction if he even
- 5:16Speaker 4: knows what direction.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That is terrific optimetrical analysis that Tony, and also the
- 5:23Speaker 2: overrated pathetic forty nine is they now find themselves at
- 5:26Speaker 2: eleven and four, just like the Eagles and Lions.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But the San Francisco still has.
- 5:32Speaker 2: The one seed and home field advantage, Tony, we don't
- 5:36Speaker 2: care about that in the.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Slightest do we not at all? We don't want the
- 5:41Speaker 4: Eagles to have home field advantage. No, we want road
- 5:45Speaker 4: field advantage.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yep.
- 5:46Speaker 4: When you're at home, you have to deal with your
- 5:48Speaker 4: annoying family, you gotta run errands, do the dishes, all
- 5:53Speaker 4: that wasted time bullshit. But on the road, you're in
- 5:56Speaker 4: a cushy hotel. You got valets concierge's housekeeping HBO. We
- 6:04Speaker 4: don't want to help the forty nine ers with strategy,
- 6:07Speaker 4: but if I were them during the playoffs, I'd stay
- 6:10Speaker 4: in a hotel in San Francisco and do a staycation.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Such terrific advice, Tony. We hope they actually ignore it,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you know, thank you.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, We're going to the AFC Big Nose there where
- 6:22Speaker 2: the Broncos have benched Russell Wilson and are reportedly planning
- 6:26Speaker 2: to cut him in the offseason.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Tony.
- 6:30Speaker 2: This just shows that once again the Broncos franchise is
- 6:34Speaker 2: making a terrible decision.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Are at day Absolutely the Broncos are forgetting how their
- 6:40Speaker 4: franchise won in the past by having quarterbacks who were
- 6:44Speaker 4: extremely shity Yep, Tim tebowp Peyton Manning when he was
- 6:48Speaker 4: crippled and could barely walk, John Elway when he was
- 6:51Speaker 4: nearing fifty years old. Frankly, I think if the Broncos
- 6:55Speaker 4: could just hold on to Russell Wilson for another five
- 6:58Speaker 4: or six years, he will the right amount of to
- 7:02Speaker 4: win a Super Bowl. He's just not enough right now.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Such smart NFL analysis that Dony and staying in the
- 7:10Speaker 2: AFC U Joe Flacco has the Browns just playing lights
- 7:14Speaker 2: out football after he replaced the age DeShawn Watson. And
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know this is some people wondering if Flaco will
- 7:22Speaker 2: be the long term replacement for DeShawn and Tony. When
- 7:26Speaker 2: you lay it all out, it does seem to be
- 7:28Speaker 2: a slam dunk argument for Flacco, doesn't it.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Absolutely Flacco has Watson beat in every important statistical category
- 7:37Speaker 4: you put up that graphic pass yards PAG game, DeShawn
- 7:42Speaker 4: had one eighty five point eight Flaco has three. Twenty
- 7:45Speaker 4: three point two your touchdowns DeShawn had seven. Flaco has
- 7:51Speaker 4: thirteen sexual assault allegations. DeShawn has twenty three. Flaco Goosegg
- 7:59Speaker 4: zero YEP messuss Deshaun is on number two hundred and
- 8:03Speaker 4: forty eight, Flacco still.
- 8:06Speaker 1: On his first YEP, and.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Finally ger genital exposure rate. Flacco is at zero point
- 8:14Speaker 4: zero percent and DeShawn is at a whopping ninety nine
- 8:19Speaker 4: point seven percent.
- 8:21Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Can't argue with those numbers, don't. He's the one final
- 8:26Speaker 2: NFL story. Travis Kelsey is under fire after people are
- 8:30Speaker 2: saying his relationship with Taylor Swift is ruining his play
- 8:34Speaker 2: on the field and the Chiefs in dire season because
- 8:36Speaker 2: you know, he's only had one touchdown since they started dating,
- 8:39Speaker 2: and the Chiefs suck. But Tony, these people, they just
- 8:43Speaker 2: aren't seeing the bigger picture.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Here, aren't they.
- 8:46Speaker 4: No, there's one thing that's more important than football, and
- 8:51Speaker 4: that's true love. If Travis Kelcey wants to sacrifice his
- 8:56Speaker 4: entire career for Taylor Swift, then we hold heartedly support
- 9:01Speaker 4: that move, even if it means the Chiefs have a
- 9:04Speaker 4: first round playoff exit and both Travis and Patrick Mahomes
- 9:08Speaker 4: watched their entire careers go down in flames.
- 9:11Speaker 1: At least they'll have love.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Well, Mahomes still will, but not Travis, because Taylor will
- 9:18Speaker 4: have probably dumped him by den.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Such heartfelt words that Doney And Now moving to the NBA,
- 9:26Speaker 5: where Grizzly superstar Jean Morant made his longer way to
- 9:30Speaker 5: come back from suspension and took home Player of the
- 9:33Speaker 5: Week honors rafter nailing that buzzer beater to defeat the
- 9:36Speaker 5: Pelicans and Tony This is just a great lesson for
- 9:40Speaker 5: all NBA players, isn't it?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Totally?
- 9:43Speaker 4: People have been criticizing John Morant for fooling around with guns,
- 9:47Speaker 4: but look at how good his shooting is now.
- 9:50Speaker 1: His shooting is incredible.
- 9:52Speaker 4: He was never afraid to pull the trigger at any
- 9:54Speaker 4: point in the game, and at the end of the
- 9:57Speaker 4: game when he went in for that kills shot. The
- 10:00Speaker 4: Pelicans were dead game. Over All, players should take note.
- 10:05Speaker 4: If you want to learn shooting, you got to practice
- 10:08Speaker 4: without a basketball as much as with the basketball.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Terrific advice for all basketball players out that, Dony, and
- 10:17Speaker 2: what more basketball than you. The Detroit Pistons they broke
- 10:20Speaker 2: an NBA record held o as you know by the
- 10:23Speaker 2: Sixers by losing that twenty seventh consecutive game. Now you know,
- 10:27Speaker 2: people they're going on and on and saying this is
- 10:29Speaker 2: bad for the franchise, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 10:31Speaker 1: But Dony, that is not true at all, isn't it not?
- 10:35Speaker 4: Even a little losing streaks can be great for business.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Just look at the Washington Generals. They've lost two five
- 10:43Speaker 4: hundred and sixty seven games in a row and people
- 10:46Speaker 4: still go to the games and droves. In fact, they
- 10:49Speaker 4: continue to sell out arenas and high school gymnasiums all
- 10:54Speaker 4: across the country.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Just terrific perspective that downy should make every feel much better.
- 11:01Speaker 1: And absolutebject things that will make you feel better. You
- 11:04Speaker 1: know you wait time for this people as you are.
- 11:07Speaker 1: We do it at the end of every year where
- 11:09Speaker 1: we take.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Time in the show to bo ares who had great achievements,
- 11:15Speaker 2: of course, but you know they tried time to cure
- 11:21Speaker 2: the music and begin the FUSCO year and the.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Here we go the year and awards.
- 11:33Speaker 2: All right, Tony, so much hardware to pass out here,
- 11:36Speaker 2: and we're gonna start with one of the most prestigious awards,
- 11:41Speaker 2: the Excellence in Journalism Award, which this year goes to
- 11:45Speaker 2: none other than Carissa Thompson.
- 11:49Speaker 6: Wow, can gradulate a little controversial, Tony, because as you
- 11:53Speaker 6: all know, Carrissa Thompson admitted this year that when she
- 11:57Speaker 6: was a sideline reporter for Fox and couldn't get coaches
- 12:00Speaker 6: to do the interviews.
- 12:02Speaker 2: At halftime, well she would just make up what she
- 12:05Speaker 2: thought they were going to say.
- 12:06Speaker 1: So brave, well with these fools.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Don't realize exactly, Tony, that this was good for the game, right, exactly?
- 12:14Speaker 4: She was doing the coaches of favor by not making
- 12:17Speaker 4: them spend time and energy doing the interview. Instead, they
- 12:22Speaker 4: could spend those precious two minutes focusing on the x's
- 12:26Speaker 4: and o's of the game while Carissa took care of
- 12:29Speaker 4: the quotes for them.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yep, and you know I heard that the reason the
- 12:33Speaker 2: Seahawks lost Super Bowl forty to the Steelers was because
- 12:37Speaker 2: Melissa Stock stopped Mike Holgrin as he was rushing off
- 12:41Speaker 2: the field at.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Halftime, costing him precious time.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Onbelieving him to, you know, make the halftime adjustments that
- 12:47Speaker 2: would have won them the game.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Just terrible journalism there by Melissa Stark.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Absolutely, and there were congratulations to Carrissa Thompson fielding bravery
- 13:00Speaker 2: winning the Excellence Year Journalists.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Congrats Carisha.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And that moves to our second award of the show,
- 13:08Speaker 2: the best Deliberate Injury or a Great Award, and of
- 13:12Speaker 2: course that.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Goes to none other than Aaron Rodgers. Wow, what a
- 13:18Speaker 1: win for mister Rodgers. It's a few.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Minutes into his first game with the Jets. He looked
- 13:24Speaker 2: around and quickly realized this was all just a total
- 13:27Speaker 2: waste of.
- 13:28Speaker 1: His absolutely shish matter.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Off, just getting injured and just keeping it away playing
- 13:34Speaker 2: for the Jets.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And this was just such a smart move, wasn't it.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Dony Absolutely, And when you think about it, he's the
- 13:41Speaker 4: real MVP because he valued himself more than anyone else.
- 13:47Speaker 2: So well set Tony, and congratulations to Aaron Rodgers, not
- 13:51Speaker 2: just on the award but also the seventeen or eighteen
- 13:55Speaker 2: weeks vacation he took in the middle of the season.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Very smart, so so smart to.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Another prestigious award, Tony, This one is the Courage Award.
- 14:07Speaker 2: And you know, love, it's a lot to go against
- 14:09Speaker 2: the grain, and this does stand up steel belief for
- 14:12Speaker 2: what is right exactly indeed, and that's why this year's
- 14:16Speaker 2: winner of the Courage Award is someone who embodied that
- 14:20Speaker 2: spirit more than anyone else. Heroic Super Bowl groundskeeper George Thoma.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well deserved, mister Tooma.
- 14:29Speaker 2: As you all know, after the Super Bowl was wrongly
- 14:32Speaker 2: handed to the Chiefs, he came forward and blew the
- 14:36Speaker 2: whistle on NFL field Derec and Mangen, who improperly installed
- 14:42Speaker 2: and managed the grass for the Super Bowl, which are
- 14:45Speaker 2: clearly too slippery to play. Wait, and we all remember
- 14:49Speaker 2: what Thoma said about how mangan managed that grass soapballly.
- 14:54Speaker 2: He said, quote he had only one standing, He should
- 14:59Speaker 2: have had two, three standings, but he didn't do shot
- 15:04Speaker 2: And wow, Tony, that is that is why George Tooma
- 15:08Speaker 2: has won our current award, because he deserves the trophy
- 15:13Speaker 2: just as much as the Eagles.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Isn't that absolutely and at least we can right that
- 15:18Speaker 4: wrong a little bit here on this show.
- 15:21Speaker 1: There we go.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That's what we're doing, all right, And now moving on
- 15:24Speaker 2: to another big award, Coach of the Year.
- 15:28Speaker 1: This was a hard one. This was a hard one,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you know.
- 15:31Speaker 2: And actually there was a shocker in this category, Tony,
- 15:34Speaker 2: wasn't it, Because you know, all the pundits out there,
- 15:37Speaker 2: they said it was gonna be Nick siriont so too. Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 2: but you know, we finally had to decide that it
- 15:44Speaker 2: had to go to one coach who somehow just deserved
- 15:48Speaker 2: it more absolutely, of course, we're talking about none other
- 15:52Speaker 2: that now fired Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker. Congratulations
- 15:58Speaker 2: ninety five million grow up and.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Smoke over an alleged phone sex call.
- 16:05Speaker 2: But you know, as we discussed on this show several times, Tony,
- 16:09Speaker 2: there must have been some kind of misunderstanding here because
- 16:12Speaker 2: how do we even know he was talking sex exactly?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Just talking football?
- 16:17Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, I mean, how do we know he wasn't
- 16:21Speaker 4: just giving this woman football advice? And this wasn't all
- 16:25Speaker 4: just a big misunderstanding, you know, like you got to
- 16:28Speaker 4: chase those deep balls and hold on to those balls
- 16:33Speaker 4: nice and tight and get that penetration up the middle
- 16:37Speaker 4: and then go deep on those balls, or you know,
- 16:41Speaker 4: go for the sack, and when you get the sack,
- 16:44Speaker 4: give that guy a good licking and go deep on
- 16:46Speaker 4: his balls. And when you feel the rush because they're
- 16:50Speaker 4: coming in hot for those balls, you got to take
- 16:53Speaker 4: those balls deep and jam them down their throat. All
- 16:57Speaker 4: of that sounds like x's and o's to me.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Absolutely, Tony, just clearly when you lay it out like that,
- 17:04Speaker 2: melt Taka has been wronged here probably thus deserves our
- 17:09Speaker 2: Coach of the Year award, the just Mont except for
- 17:14Speaker 2: everything for him.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Absolutely, that's mister Tucker. Yeah, all right.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Then now to another major award here, Tony, the one
- 17:22Speaker 2: for most productive season.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And you have many great performances, so many great performances.
- 17:29Speaker 1: One name stood above all, didn't it, Dony. Just a giant,
- 17:33Speaker 1: truly above and behind among men. Yep, And that is Dolphin's.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Wide receiver Tyreek Hill, not only putting up monster numbers
- 17:43Speaker 2: on the field, but monster numbers off the field. To
- 17:47Speaker 2: listen to these numbers, Tony, he fathered three different children
- 17:52Speaker 2: with three different.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Women in the stun of just a few months.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Just unbelievable production, incredible performance scene and Tony. But like
- 18:02Speaker 2: usual Tony, this has garnered criticism, hasn't it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yep?
- 18:06Speaker 4: But just watch those fools who are criticizing Tyreek Hill
- 18:10Speaker 4: are going to be eating their words. Come to twenty
- 18:12Speaker 4: forty four NFL Draft, when we are now guaranteed, thanks
- 18:17Speaker 4: to Tyreek Hill, to have the best class of wide
- 18:20Speaker 4: receivers in NFL history. So we thank Tyreek Hill for
- 18:24Speaker 4: his contributions to the game of football.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Absolutely and that's why he's taken all the most productive
- 18:32Speaker 2: season grass Missio. Tony. This is it, what was the
- 18:37Speaker 2: big one, the culmination of this show and frankly the
- 18:42Speaker 2: whole year, Tony. It alsists the biggest award of the night,
- 18:47Speaker 2: the award for biggest failure.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Wow, this is it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: The big many names to choose from, so let's read
- 18:55Speaker 2: through all the nominees. Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Brandon Staley,
- 19:04Speaker 2: Josh McDaniels, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady Ye who retired but
- 19:12Speaker 2: you know.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Still get enough doing nothing but he sucks sack totally.
- 19:15Speaker 1: James Harden, the.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Entire Philadelphia Phillies for only getting to the NLCS, all
- 19:22Speaker 2: of Major League Baseball for footing.
- 19:24Speaker 1: The Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamond Dots in the World
- 19:27Speaker 1: Series Aster, the.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Entire NFL officiating system, Indiana Jones, and the dial of Destiny.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Terrible, horrible.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Joe Biden, of course said finally, Dak Prescott and here.
- 19:42Speaker 1: We go, Tony, It's time to reveal the winner. I
- 19:45Speaker 1: can't stand attention? Who is it?
