- 0:00Speaker 1: Someone on Reddit asked what societal norm did you decide
- 0:05Speaker 1: to stop abiding?
- 0:06Speaker 2: Body?
- 0:07Speaker 1: And apparently people are done doing what's expected of them.
- 0:10Speaker 1: This is what's on on on Reddit. Are you guys
- 0:12Speaker 1: ready payton? You started off?
- 0:14Speaker 3: I don't know what I would what I would try
- 0:17Speaker 3: to like, that's so hard.
- 0:19Speaker 4: I need an example, I know.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I'm like, that's such a hard question.
- 0:22Speaker 1: This person that I stop thinking. I can only eat
- 0:24Speaker 1: breakfast food for breakfast.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, that's good, Okay.
- 0:28Speaker 5: I have one.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I don't have to wear heels to the club.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Well, that's good.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I don't want to wear heels. I' gonna wear my
- 0:35Speaker 3: slides in my hoodie.
- 0:37Speaker 1: This person said, I am very much a man and
- 0:40Speaker 1: I sit when I pee. Why because I stand all
- 0:42Speaker 1: day and that's my time. I mean, I mean way,
- 0:49Speaker 1: that's dying on that hill. I'm all for that. This
- 0:51Speaker 1: person says there are lots of online tutorials about folding
- 0:54Speaker 1: fitted sheets.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I don't do that. I do not care if my
- 0:57Speaker 2: fitted sheet is wrinkled.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Same they're probably the fish though, is that you don't
- 1:00Speaker 1: want to pop up off the heat.
- 1:02Speaker 5: But when you fold it for me, no matter what
- 1:04Speaker 5: I do, it always ends up in a ball some
- 1:05Speaker 5: type anyway, George, Well, then what you do is you
- 1:09Speaker 5: fold the non fitghed sheet nicely and then you stick
- 1:12Speaker 5: that on top of your messy.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And so these are societal norms that people are ditching.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Uh this is I get this person's point of view,
- 1:23Speaker 1: but I have to do this or it's bad luck
- 1:25Speaker 1: in my opinion, saying bless you when people sneeze, Like,
- 1:28Speaker 1: what are we doing?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Does it really need to be acknowledged?
- 1:31Speaker 4: Why do we only say that for sneezing? Like why
- 1:34Speaker 4: not coughing?
- 1:35Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:35Speaker 4: Coughing? Are you okay? That's what you do when people.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Sho, I'm going to bless you. I wonder if sneezing,
- 1:41Speaker 1: if you google sneezing, why they say bless you? Is
- 1:43Speaker 1: it because of some spiritual things in the Bible?
- 1:46Speaker 3: For sure, stop breathing when you sneeze, that's why you
- 1:48Speaker 3: say bless you. At least that's what I always thought
- 1:50Speaker 3: it would.
- 1:50Speaker 2: It may be like in the Book of Odessa.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Some somebody like a text.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Is there a Book of Odessa? I don't think that
- 1:56Speaker 2: feels like that should be a Bible.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Maybe it's because when you sneeze maybe perhaps you allow
- 2:00Speaker 5: room for some kind of spirit to get inside you.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Are you Google Cale?
- 2:04Speaker 3: Why do we say bless you? Mine says, Saying bless
- 2:07Speaker 3: you after sneeze originated as a protective or compassionate response,
- 2:11Speaker 3: rooted in ancient superstitious religious practices and historical health concerns. Okay,
- 2:18Speaker 3: one of my mine says, it was the first back
- 2:21Speaker 3: in the bubonic plague.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It was the first sign of having the deadly plague.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So people say bless you. Oh, so you're dying sneeze,
- 2:28Speaker 2: You're dying, good luck, see later. See you wouldn't want to.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Be okay, So this person is I often sit on
- 2:37Speaker 1: the train with my phone in my pocket with no AirPods,
- 2:39Speaker 1: just staring out the window. I firmly believe boredom is
- 2:42Speaker 1: an enriching experience. This weekend I came up with I
- 2:46Speaker 1: was calling be boord hashtag be board. I told my
- 2:49Speaker 1: wife to go ahead this. I think kids need to be bored. Nowadays,
- 2:52Speaker 1: nobody's bored. I was bored today and I freaking loved
- 2:54Speaker 1: it hashtag be board. And I already saw me at
- 2:57Speaker 1: conventions speaking to crowds of people tell them to be bored.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I wanted to start an Instagram. I even went
- 3:02Speaker 1: so far as to look at Instagram account called b
- 3:04Speaker 1: board and someone I already took it, but they don't
- 3:06Speaker 1: have anything posted on it, because I wanted to p
- 3:10Speaker 1: people posting like you're just on the couch or you're reading,
- 3:13Speaker 1: like I think the problem Like if you're a kid
- 3:14Speaker 1: on the couch, most likely you're scrolling through TikTok. So
- 3:17Speaker 1: I was like, I just want to be bored. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: think being bored is healthy for you. That's my campaign.
- 3:22Speaker 1: This person. My husband and I have separate bedrooms. We
- 3:24Speaker 1: have for years, and we get the best sleep. Talked
- 3:26Speaker 1: about that before.
- 3:27Speaker 4: That's popular.
- 3:28Speaker 1: This is societal norms that people are ditching. Peyton, this
- 3:31Speaker 1: is for you. We're not having an expensive wedding. We
- 3:34Speaker 1: bought a house instead.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Yep.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I no longer eat three meals a day at standard times.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Now I just eat when I'm actually hungry without calling
- 3:42Speaker 1: it a specific name.
- 3:43Speaker 2: That's interesting except when there's other people involved.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I know, yeah, like I could easily eat at four
- 3:48Speaker 1: thirty and that's it, but everybody always wants the Oh, so.
- 3:52Speaker 4: What would you say, you want to go get a snack? Yeah,
