The Chinese Lantern Festival is back in Franklin Square with over 1,500 handmade lanterns lighting up the park in dazzling, world-inspired displays. This year, it’s celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with a replica of Independence Hall and a special sports-themed section for Philly’s big summer games. Beyond the lights, enjoy traditional performances, live folk art, and delicious food—all in a family-friendly, vibrant atmosphere.
