[SPEAKER_00]: As James Gladstone will tell you, but right now we're taking a look.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a pretty big number.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's 20 prospects that I think are good day to fits for the jag wars and the way I narrowed this down because it's like, well, which prospects do you include in this list that might go in the first round?

[SPEAKER_00]: So to be on this list, each of these 20 players is in between 32

[SPEAKER_00]: and 100 on the Consensus Bigboard.

[SPEAKER_00]: Are there players that are above 32 on the Consensus Bigboard that would obviously be good fits for the Jaguars?

[SPEAKER_00]: So, if you've been paying attention, I would really like the Jaguars to focus on the trenches, not just because I think that's a good thing to do generally speaking, but because I think they have some areas they can get better in the trenches.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, 12 of these 20 players are either on the offensive line,

[SPEAKER_00]: And no, I don't have a running back on this list, even though Jdary and Price is being rumored or reported to be very high on the Jaguar's board, even though they're also connected to Emmett Johnson and some other backs, Mike Washington.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is even if they don't need a starting linebacker right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they do with Ventral Miller.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think Ventral can be a very good starter this year for the Jaguars.

[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of pairs with what you've seen from the Jaguars and what they've targeted at edge.

[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, they didn't draft any edge players last year, but they brought in two undrafted free agents.

[SPEAKER_00]: They also had added last year to one, Smooth, Emmanuel Agua.

[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like they don't want to forsake the run game for the past Russia.

[SPEAKER_00]: To those undersized guys, and I've looked at the Rams, I think the smallest past wrestler they've drafted was by or any young, obviously James Ladsone, it's been a long time with the Rams, and he was like 250, so I'm just not really putting those guys on the list

[SPEAKER_00]: At number three here, Chris Johnson, the corner back out of San Diego State, great size, well, good size, great athleticism, great zone coverage corner.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just think he makes so much sense for the Jags, one of those players that, that the Jag war is need a corner right now, probably not, but he might just be too good if he's available to you to pass up on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably won't be available at 56, but if the Jack Wars are willing to trade up for a running back, they might be willing to trade up for something else as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: At four here, we've got Malachi Lawrence, the edge out of UCF, insane athlete.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the best upside edge rusher in the draft, who also has a lot of production, length

[SPEAKER_00]: It makes a lot of sense to me as like a third edge rusher.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you look at Malachi Lawrence, he came in at 253 pounds with over 33 inch arms.

[SPEAKER_00]: He would be on the lighter side for what the Jaguar is currently have, but I think he's well within the range of what they could be looking for there.

[SPEAKER_00]: At number five, Chase Basantis, I would love to see Chase Basantis in black and teal.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another offensive lineman that plays for Texas A and M, who I would also like, but he's not in the top 100, we'll talk about him a little bit later on.

[SPEAKER_00]: But Chase Basantis, I think he does have some experience playing tackle, and I know the Jaguar's value versatility on the offensive line.

[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have the link that you would typically describe to a tackle.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe if you had to, in a pinch, you could have some cross-training there.

[SPEAKER_00]: They like that versatility, Chase Basantis for sure, man, just really good athlete.

[SPEAKER_00]: Young prospect, he started a lot of games.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's got advanced hand usage, I think he's got that dog in him, I think he makes a ton of sense for the GI Course.

[SPEAKER_00]: At six, Caleb Banks, who is sliding down the board because of the foot injuries,

[SPEAKER_00]: Without the foot injuries, I think you're easily looking at a top 15 pick, but the fact of the matter is there are foot injuries that have been lingering over the last year or so, which is concerning for an almost 330-pound football player.

[SPEAKER_00]: people at his side should not be able to move the way they do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think that he's the type of guy, if you feel comfortable with the medicals, maybe you trade up for maybe you get aggressive.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jacob Rodriguez here at number seven, the linebacker at a Texas Tech.

[SPEAKER_00]: I personally don't think the Jaguars are probably going to take line back of that early, but the entire NFL world kind of does.

[SPEAKER_00]: Linebacker was on that list of things that would kind of surprise or be tendency breakers.

[SPEAKER_00]: James Ladson, the Rams, they've never taken a linebacker before around three.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, they didn't pay to have an Lloyd.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just would be surprised if they took linebacker this early, but Jacob Rodriguez and Anthony Hill Jr. back to back here at 7 and 8.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's just a great guy, too, that would fit the locker room.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Hill Jr, a little bit younger prospect, a little bit more raw, but great athleticism.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so people were saying, like, dearest Williams needed to play slot at the NFL level.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar was actually trying to put him in the slot, which was really not a good idea.

[SPEAKER_00]: They found that out pretty quickly, put him back outside, and he played excellent football for the Jags, while he was here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Williams is a little taller, willing to like 510, but Dan's low pawns at almost 5.9, just to hear under 5.9, 182 pounds, 43 inch vert, 4.3640 are attached.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think he needs to play inside corner, especially in a zone scheme.

[SPEAKER_00]: Christian Miller, the devins of tackle out of Georgia, one of my favorite prospects, the Jaguar's could potentially land because he's touted for his run defense and rightly so, excellent run defender.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't normally think about like a interior at events of Lyman being those things, but I think he just reads the game incredibly well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he is on the bigger side for sure, more and like the nose tackle body, but I think you just look at his past rush win rate as compared to all the other defensive tackles that could go in the top 100.

[SPEAKER_00]: At number 11, Keelen Rutledge, the interior offense of Lyman, guard, slash dinner prospect out of Georgia Tech, he plays through the whistle, he plays on the border line of being too aggressive, too physical, but you want to rain guys in instead of trying to draw that out of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think he has the type of mindset, jag wars, coaching staff would really like, he's a really good athlete as well, big hands, good length.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is could be looking for and when you talk about guard, like, is it a need for right now?

[SPEAKER_00]: I think the current top guards the Jaguar has have, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick McCary, who coming off of not a great year and after 2026, the Jack Wars have a big team out in his contract where they can save a ton of cap space if they decide to move on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then you have Wyatt Milim who you drafted last year did look pretty good when he got on the field.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just didn't get on the field all that much as a guard and then you have Walker Little that can play guard as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: But, yeah, I think Kelen Rutledge could project very well as a future starter for the Jaguars, upgrade their depth.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, one thing about him is, I don't think you're training him at Tackle, and all likelihood.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, like, if they drafted him, that would almost certainly spell Chuma Doga getting cut.

[SPEAKER_00]: Chuma Doga does have the ability to play some Tackle, so you're losing a little bit of versatility there.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I think you have plenty of versatility with the rest of the offensive line.

[SPEAKER_00]: And again, Rutledge can play center or guard.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jonah Monheim is probably the Jaguar starting center of the future, but that's not necessarily locked in at this point.

[SPEAKER_00]: So he could definitely be a future starter on the interior for the Jaguars and good depth right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: At 12 here we have Gabe Accus, the Illinois Defense Event, so physical.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just think he projects to be somebody that falls right in line with what you have and he can win with speed to power.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's six foot, basically six, four, two, 60, 33 inch arms, 10 inch hands, four, six, nine, 40 are dash at two, 60 is very impressive.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think that he's going to be a good run defender.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to just upgrade that talent level.

[SPEAKER_00]: The, I've talked about it this office, and the level of ask kicker needs to rise on the Jaguar's defensive line.

[SPEAKER_00]: Trave on Walker, Josh Hines, Allen, et cetera, but they need more.

[SPEAKER_00]: Next up is Jake Golday, another player who I think projects very similarly to a Devin Lloyd at the next level, just in terms of like what they were asked to do in the Jaguars defense.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jake Golday played Edge, switched over to linebacker in 2024.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's got so many athletic traits, good tape overall, makes sense out of Cincinnati.

[SPEAKER_00]: Derek Moore at 14, one of the ones that like, a little on the smaller side for what the Jaguar has might be looking for at Edge out of Michigan and not a great run to Fender, but he's 255, he's not a small guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember his name now, but he didn't test very well and it was just like, I really don't care.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you don't really have good testing or much testing at all from Derek Moore, a 30-inch vertical jump, not very impressive overall, but I just think he's a speed to power, Russia that plays really well and is going to upgrade

[SPEAKER_00]: Not a great run defender right now, but I don't think there's anything within his...

[SPEAKER_00]: his physical traits that suggests he can't be a better run to Fender if there's more of a focus on that at the NFL level.

[SPEAKER_00]: At 15, Jennings Dunker, the played offensive tackle at Iowa, project him inside to guard, but another one where the Jack Wars like that versatility.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a player that I think the Jaguar should be interested in.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another one, Caleb Tiernan, the offensive tackle, at a Northwestern who some people project at guard as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another one that I just think very solid player, the Jaguar's could potentially be interested in, that can have some versatility.

[SPEAKER_00]: Up next is Grace and Halton, offensive, excuse me, offensive, Oklahoma, interior, defensive lineman.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's projects very much as a three tech.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think he can play the run a little bit better than a lot of people give him credit for, but he's not a big guy, uh, for the interior, the defensive line, you're drafting him because you want to heat up the quarterback more and and because you think he can probably hold up, uh, as a team run defender, he's not going to be taking on doubles or anything like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's not going to be asking him to do, but somebody who I think can really heat up the quarterback from the interior, um, and a great athlete.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just kind of look at Skylar Bell and I'm like, is he just too good to pass up on if he's available at like 81 or something like that?

[SPEAKER_00]: He's got huge hands, he makes incredible contested catches, just like highlight real spectacular catches down the field.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, yak threat he's shown he can win as a downfield target did not drop the ball at all this year really improved in that regard.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, I just like everything about his profile.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think he brings that physicality that Britain's strange brings, but insane athlete, like truly insane athlete who I do think has shown in not a feature receiving role, but I think he has shown the ability to be a more,
