- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity, no topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20Brothers and sisters and Christ, thank you so much for tuning in.
- 0:23Thank you for your prayers.
- 0:24I was just talking to today's guest.
- 0:26We need prayer for wisdom.
- 0:28I think we all do.
- 0:29And that's a prayer that God promises to answer generously when we ask him for wisdom.
- 0:34So we need to do that before I bring in today's guest, who is going to be a speaker
- 0:39at the World View Matters conference.
- 0:41Let's go to the website worldviewmattersconference.com.
- 0:44And I need to shout out to some new sponsors, Praise God.
- 0:50First of all, the major sponsors I want to mention, they go down to the bottom of the page,
- 0:54Harbinger's Daily, Legacy Church, they're in New Mexico, Creative Edge Productions, Freedom
- 1:02Project Academy, the Family Radio Network, his sword ministries, and a brand new one,
- 1:09major sponsor right under the family there is Alpha Omega Gold.
- 1:13Alpha Omega Gold, they're a Christian, unapologetically Christian investing company and just
- 1:21blessed to have them on board.
- 1:23And then I want to scroll down to the bottom and there's some brand new sponsors.
- 1:26Two of them, that's training godly warriors.
- 1:30That was a former guest we've had on the podcast, training godly warriors and also the Wisconsin
- 1:37Christian news.
- 1:39So we are continuing to get more sponsors.
- 1:41We're so blessed to have the support more coming.
- 1:45And right now, I just want to go to edensredemption.org and tell you about today's guest, Laura Perry
- 1:54Smaltz.
- 1:55We've had her on before, such a blessing to have her back.
- 1:57Sister, good to see you.
- 1:58Thanks for your time today.
- 2:00Oh, thank you so much for having me on.
- 2:02It's such a pleasure to be here.
- 2:04Thanks, Laura.
- 2:05It's great to connect to Oklahoma.
- 2:06Now, we're excited to have you in Green Bay in, I don't know, how many weeks, six weeks
- 2:11or something, whatever it is.
- 2:13It's crazy.
- 2:14Melissa and Closer saw our audience is going to be able to see you in Green Bay speaking
- 2:18out the world view matters conference.
- 2:20But before we dive into today's topic, get an update from you on just what's going on
- 2:24in our country and around the world, the craziness, the demonic agendas, particularly when it comes
- 2:31to transgendarism and that ideology, I want you to share so people can pray for you about
- 2:37your recent, it's not recent.
- 2:39This is an ongoing health battle that you've had and we've been talking about what's
- 2:44frustrating sometimes is you can be feeling better and then all of a sudden it gets
- 2:48the inconsistency can be just as stressful when you go from bad, good, bad.
- 2:53So tell our audience how they can pray for you and what you've been going through, please.
- 2:57Yeah, I've been going through some pretty severe neurological problems with my brain.
- 3:03We haven't figured it all out.
- 3:05I mentioned last time, I think I mentioned that I'm dealing with some inflammation, but I
- 3:08don't think that's the entire problem.
- 3:11I'm going to an upper cervical doctor right now, this doing some treatments to help a
- 3:15little, but he says that I have just had all kinds of head trauma and I didn't realize
- 3:21how many head injuries I'd had in my life until I started.
- 3:24He asked me to start listing them and I think that may be part of it.
- 3:29Part of it could be, I mean testosterone on girls, I know from experience with other
- 3:34girls from there's not a lot of long-term studies, but I know that I was having cognitive
- 3:38issues during those years.
- 3:40Did that affect me?
- 3:41I don't know.
- 3:42COVID.
- 3:43I mean, there could be so many different things and we thought of so many different angles
- 3:46that we just can't figure this out and we've just been praying and I really feel like
- 3:51the woman with the issue of blood that's been all her living on doctors.
- 3:55We just need wisdom from the Lord I get, you know, suggestions from well-meaning people
- 4:00all the time.
- 4:01Trust me, my parents have spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on
- 4:05every kind of therapy and doctors on every end of the spectrum and we need wisdom from
- 4:11the Lord.
- 4:12So as much as I appreciate well-meaning suggestions, I really just want people's prayers.
- 4:17We need wisdom from the Lord.
- 4:19This is what I want you to do.
- 4:21But also in that, like God has taught me so much through this experience, I've learned
- 4:27so much compassion and understanding for people with brain problems.
- 4:31I've learned, you know, because I didn't have a lot of grace for people, didn't realize
- 4:35that I didn't.
- 4:36But before it was like, if you were anxious or depressed or said, well, you just need
- 4:39to read your Bible more, you just need to pray more and sometimes there's real things
- 4:43going on.
- 4:44And I think it's a combination of warfare and real physical problems.
- 4:48And so I just need wisdom from the Lord, but also in that I'm learning just to rely
- 4:55on the Lord and relying on him to be my strength when I just have none in those days.
- 5:00Like, God, I can't do this.
- 5:02But seeing God strengthen me and be able to get up and talk in front of a crowd when
- 5:08I feel like I can barely put one foot in front of the other is amazing.
- 5:12And I know it's just the Lord.
- 5:14I remember, I don't know if we did talk about that on a previous podcast or in an email
- 5:17exchange that when you get to the speaking engagement, he gives you the strength to do
- 5:23it, but you could be feeling horrible up to that point.
- 5:26It really is amazing.
- 5:27And as you shared that scripture that Paul, Paul's response from God, my grace is sufficient
- 5:33from you actually God responding to Paul.
- 5:35My grace is sufficient for you.
- 5:37And I go to that one often because as you know, with Rosanna, what we went through a couple
- 5:42of years ago, all kinds of therapies and remedies and detoxes and so many different things
- 5:49we tried.
- 5:50And a lot of money.
- 5:51And then I got to the point where I'm going, Lord, I don't want to do this out of a lack
- 5:54of faith because I know you're the ultimate physician and you might be allowing this.
- 5:59But I believe that she can be healed and you can heal her.
- 6:02So yeah.
- 6:03So please, friends, pray for wisdom for Laura.
- 6:06And also for myself, I'll just say, I need it to care for my wife in the best way I can.
- 6:12And sometimes it's really hard, but God knows he's in this and thank God.
- 6:17This is all temporary, right, Laura?
- 6:21And for wisdom for my husband as well, I mean, you can relate to him, I'm sure.
- 6:26Yeah, my husband Perry, you know, he goes through a lot and he's, he's, it's been amazing
- 6:31though to see such unconditional love and he's so many, he's taught me so much about
- 6:35the love of the Lord.
- 6:37But I know it gets weary at times because there's times that, I mean, I'm, you, it's hard
- 6:42to explain to people what's really going on.
- 6:45Sometimes my brain really doesn't function very well.
- 6:48And I know that it's, it's tough, but, but God is still, you know, God is still good
- 6:54no matter what happens.
- 6:55He's still good.
- 6:56He still uses us.
- 6:58And we pray that that would continue that he will continue to use you.
- 7:01I'm going to give Laura's websites before we talk about some stories today, just what's
- 7:05going on in our culture and just get her, her take on where she sees the whole battle
- 7:12between male and female in the transgender ideology going in America, at least, Edens
- 7:18Redemption.org, Edens, Edens Redemption.org, she is also on Facebook.
- 7:25You can do a search for Edens Redemption on Facebook and pull up her Facebook page.
- 7:31And I want to make sure, mention her book that we talked to her many times about transgender
- 7:36to transformed, transgender to transformed.
- 7:41So people can get that on Amazon or through your website, Laura.
- 7:44Yes.
- 7:45Well, actually, we just, our website is in the process of getting a lot of products on
- 7:49there.
- 7:50We do have some merchandise available, which I'm getting right now.
- 7:53So yours is the first audience, but I don't have the books up yet.
- 7:57So Amazon, but hopefully the books will be available there soon.
- 8:00Okay.
- 8:01Well, I just clicked on shop at Edens Redemption.
- 8:04And look at that.
- 8:05There's shirts.
- 8:06Okay.
- 8:07Great.
- 8:08Wow.
- 8:09And my wife loves butterflies, especially the blue.
- 8:11She put a blue butterfly on one of her CD covers, 20 years ago, that just looks just like
- 8:17that same one.
- 8:18Anyway, I'm off topic already.
- 8:20Okay.
- 8:21Focus, David.
- 8:22Focus, focus.
- 8:23So let's talk about an article over at harbingersdaily.com.
- 8:26And this was from Decision Magazine just over a month ago, but I thought this is something
- 8:31I can talk with you about.
- 8:33It's titled Disfigured for Life in a landmark ruling detransitioner wins medical malpractice
- 8:43case.
- 8:44Laura, this, I hope this sets some sort of precedent if that could happen, but just share
- 8:50your overall thoughts on this.
- 8:52And then I'll read a little bit more to give the audience an idea of what the story is
- 8:55about and who it's about.
- 8:56Yeah.
- 8:57I'm thankful because these doctors, you know, I'm sure there's a spectrum.
- 9:04Of motivations.
- 9:05I'm sure some genuinely think they're helping people, but I think a lot of them are in
- 9:09it for the money.
- 9:10But regardless of what they think, this is going to make them think twice.
- 9:14You know, I know that doctors have a certain amount of malpractice insurance, but I've already
- 9:20heard there are a lot of doctors that are going to stop doing these procedures because
- 9:24they're afraid of these lawsuits.
- 9:26And this was massive, but it's also a huge.
- 9:28It brings to the forefront even more importantly than that it put in mainstream media that people
- 9:36really do regret this to the point that it is considered malpractice.
- 9:42And I can't remember in this specific case, but many of these girls that I have heard
- 9:47who have had the breasts removed and things like that.
- 9:50And they say, why did somebody let me, why did a doctor allow this, why did a doctor
- 9:56do this to me when I was 14, 15 years old?
- 10:00It's crazy and it should absolutely be malpractice.
- 10:03And so I'm grateful that these guys are being stopped.
- 10:06It's one thing as an adult and I still think that doctors should not be performing voluntary
- 10:13removal of tissue that is healthy, you know, but that's another thing.
- 10:19But if people want to do that as an adult, you know, I can't stop them legally.
- 10:24But for our children, for Myers, they absolutely need to be stopped.
- 10:28So I'm incredibly grateful for this ruling.
- 10:31It's just, when you hear this and this is a good outcome, but it's just how far have
- 10:35we fallen?
- 10:37It's just how far away from common sense, but also brings up Laura, I think the spiritual
- 10:42dynamic, the warfare involved.
- 10:45This is demonic to want to destroy the Amago Day, the image of God in mankind, human beings
- 10:51who are made in God's image, not it now, not everybody's a child of God if you want
- 10:55to get into theology, but we were all created in God's image.
- 10:59In fact, you were in that documentary that AFA put out in his image.
- 11:05So in this case, this person's lawyers argued that her psychologist, who was named in
- 11:11the article, was putting the idea in Fox's head that she needed gender transition surgery.
- 11:20So I think you shared in the past, you went to people for advice or counsel.
- 11:24You were probably given you the green light.
- 11:27Am I wrong in suggesting that?
- 11:29Well, it was a little bit different.
- 11:31I, back then, we were kind of at this place where transgenderism was beginning to gain
- 11:36a little more ground, but it wasn't mainstream culture.
- 11:40But I was not interested in therapy at all at the time.
- 11:43I, what I didn't want counseling, I didn't want to match the mind to the body.
- 11:49I felt this way.
- 11:51I didn't like being a girl.
- 11:52I didn't want to be a woman and I didn't realize it at the time.
- 11:54But I had so much trauma and pain as a woman that I wanted to be a man.
- 11:59And I really convinced myself that that's who I was, that I was born that way.
- 12:03I always felt that way since childhood.
- 12:06But really the truth is that I hated being a woman.
- 12:09So when I went to this therapist, it was only so I could get this diagnosis.
- 12:13And then I could start on the hormones.
- 12:15But in the, and I was required to go to three sessions.
- 12:18And in the third session, I'll never forget, like, I was just not paying attention
- 12:22really to the conversation.
- 12:23I'm just trying to fulfill this requirement.
- 12:26And she put down her notebook and looked over her glasses.
- 12:29She looked right in my eyes and it's like she just stopped for a minute and she said,
- 12:32wow, you really have issues with your mom.
- 12:36And I was stunned.
- 12:37I was like, well, wait a minute, how do we get from talking about me being a man
- 12:42to talking about my mother?
- 12:43And again, I've shared in many podcasts and videos that I don't blame my mom at all.
- 12:47I have a, I, children do not have the same perspective that their parents do.
- 12:53I couldn't understand all the stress she was under in a whole host of other things.
- 12:56I've shared in other videos.
- 12:57But at that time in my life, I did blame her for a lot.
- 13:01I was very angry at her.
- 13:03And so that wasn't the, that wasn't what caused my transgenderism.
- 13:07But it's where some of those early lies from the enemy begin to come in.
- 13:12And rejection of femininity.
- 13:14But it built on so many other things over my life.
- 13:16I had so much trauma from men and from my own sexual sin.
- 13:20But that was at least part of it.
- 13:22And when she hit on that, I got very angry.
- 13:25I said, I'm not here to talk about my mom.
- 13:26I blew up at her.
- 13:28And she said, so you're just here for the stagnosis?
- 13:30I said, yes, that's all I'm here for.
- 13:32And she said, okay.
- 13:34And she just gave me what I wanted.
- 13:36And I think she realized that I had deep emotional issues.
- 13:40But instead of being willing to deal with it,
- 13:42she just gave me this diagnosis I wanted.
- 13:44And that might have seemed kind at the time to announce that her.
- 13:48But nine years later, and while two surgeries,
- 13:52I had a hysterectomy and the ovaries removed, I had my breast removed.
- 13:55All of that later, and years of hormones and destroying my body,
- 13:59and losing nine years of my life, for what?
- 14:03So that you wouldn't upset me?
- 14:06And that makes me really mad.
- 14:08And I actually wrote her a letter.
- 14:09I never heard back from her, but I wrote her a letter later.
- 14:11I was very kind, but I just said, I just want you to know this was not true.
- 14:16And I know you were doing your best,
- 14:17but people that are struggling with this generally have deep emotional issues
- 14:21that need dealt with.
- 14:23So I never heard back.
- 14:24Yeah, I'm glad you mentioned that because I want to go back to this article briefly.
- 14:27By the way, this person was awarded $2 million.
- 14:30Yeah.
- 14:31And $400,000 of that was for future medical expenses.
- 14:36But anyway, so how common do you think this is then, Laura?
- 14:39It says, as a teen, this young girl,
- 14:43Varian, lived with depression, anxiety, anorexia, social phobia,
- 14:48and body image issues.
- 14:51And so do you think, not only is that common today,
- 14:54but do you think counselors or those that are trying to push transgendrum
- 14:59think, well, maybe this is the easy solution,
- 15:02or they want to direct them that way.
- 15:04It's wrong, but do you think that's what's happening a lot?
- 15:07Yeah, when I hear that, sometimes I want to go like ding, ding, ding, ding,
- 15:10like that is, it's so common that I think in almost every kid,
- 15:15in fact, the number one demographic IC of transgenders
- 15:19is 14 to 15 year old girls.
- 15:21Used to be a little bit different.
- 15:23It used to be more men, but what we currently see in this culture,
- 15:27and I think so much of it is because that's right around the age of puberty
- 15:31for girls, or maybe a little bit after,
- 15:34but they're in that age where not only are they going through puberty and body
- 15:39changes, but now boys are beginning to see them different.
- 15:42They're beginning to being objectified.
- 15:45They're being treated like sexual objects.
- 15:47Their body becomes something that's vulnerable and unsafe and uncomfortable
- 15:51because of all the things they're going through,
- 15:53but also how they're being treated.
- 15:54They're being compared to other girls.
- 15:56And I remember I struggled with my health on my life,
- 16:00but I have always struggled with my weight just up and down like a rollercoaster,
- 16:04and if I would work really, really hard, and I would eat healthy,
- 16:08and I would exercise a ton, and then I would lose weight,
- 16:11but then I would get burned out.
- 16:13My adrenals and thyroid would start having problems.
- 16:16And so it's just been this yo-yo, but every time that I was,
- 16:20if I could get thin, then I would have lots of attention from guys.
- 16:23And then as soon as I'd start getting away again,
- 16:25they wouldn't give me the time of day.
- 16:27And I just remember this trauma of feeling like the only worth of value
- 16:32that I had to give anyone was in what I looked like.
- 16:36And I was always comparing myself to other girls.
- 16:38And that's what started my anger at God as well.
- 16:41Because if God made me, then why did God made me like this
- 16:44and make me this girl that has all these problems?
- 16:47But I think for a lot of girls, there are so many body issues.
- 16:52But here's one thing the Lord reminded me.
- 16:54What was in the Garden of Eden, shame of the body
- 16:59was the very first response to sin, or the very first,
- 17:02maybe, consequence of sin.
- 17:04Before they're kicked out of the garden,
- 17:05before God pronounces the curse,
- 17:07there's an immediate shame of the body,
- 17:09and they realize they are naked.
- 17:11And their instinct was to cover up the parts that are given to a husband
- 17:18or a wife that connect, the intimate parts.
- 17:22The parts that are intended to be such an incredible gift
- 17:25to a husband or wife now became a source of shame.
- 17:27Wow.
- 17:29That's brilliant.
- 17:30That point right there.
- 17:31Just think about that, friends.
- 17:33Go back to Genesis.
- 17:34Back to Genesis.
- 17:36So this is what young people are dealing with.
- 17:39So can you give us the year?
- 17:41I don't want to date yourself or anything.
- 17:43But the year that you were in that counselor's office,
- 17:46what year was that?
- 17:48Was that 90s, 2000s?
- 17:50No, it was 2007.
- 17:51I don't know, it was 2005.
- 17:532007.
- 17:54So when did the movie, was it boys don't cry or something like that?
- 18:00Is that the right movie?
- 18:02When did that come out?
- 18:03I don't remember when it came out.
- 18:05I saw it after it had already been released.
- 18:07And I think it may have come out in the 90s.
- 18:09I'm not 100% sure.
- 18:11I know that Hillary Swank was a teenager.
- 18:13She played the girl that was living for boy.
- 18:16Sad story.
- 18:17But when I saw it, Tina Branden, Branden, Tina.
- 18:21Sad story.
- 18:22But the reason I asked that is so you started yours around 2007.
- 18:27Here we are almost 20 years later, almost.
- 18:30And think about the massive bombardment with this propaganda, this ideology from Hollywood,
- 18:39from social media, from the media, from at least most in the Democrat party, from corporations.
- 18:46And you're thinking, wow, kids cannot get away from this, justifying what is called
- 18:54good now, but evil is called good, good is called evil.
- 18:57Can you speak to that and what kids are dealing with now even more than when you were growing
- 19:02up?
- 19:03Yeah, I remember the day that I felt like I actually think there was something like a
- 19:09spiritual gate was opened because this is always, I mean, this is an ancient issue.
- 19:15You can find this an ancient paganism and God warns not only were we not to indulge
- 19:20in pagan practices, but we're not even to go and observe what the pagans do.
- 19:25And there were, so I have whole teachings on that, but anyway, but it wasn't prominent
- 19:31in our modern society until, you know, starting to gain a little more ground late 90s, early
- 19:372000s.
- 19:38But when Bruce Jenner came out as transgender and was on the cover of that magazine, it literally
- 19:44was like a floodgate open and you are, I began to see almost overnight, this snowball
- 19:50effect.
- 19:51And this is what I tell people all the time, we like to believe that our sin only affects
- 19:56ourselves.
- 19:57I hear that from so many young people who live in LGBT lifestyles, especially those that
- 20:02were raised in church and they'll say, well, my sin only affects myself and it doesn't
- 20:05matter what I do.
- 20:06I'm not hurting anybody, but that's not true.
- 20:08And I've heard many, many stories of people that were influenced by friends and family
- 20:14members into these lifestyles.
- 20:16So I'm glad you brought up Caitlin Jenner and I can call him Caitlin because he legally
- 20:22changed his name to Caitlin, but you know what I'm doing purposefully.
- 20:25I'm calling him a he because that's how God created him.
- 20:29But he is Caitlin, respectfully, someone changes their name, I'll call them whatever name
- 20:33they want to be called if it's legal.
- 20:36But what's astounding to me, Laura, is the pronoun battle, this pronoun, demanding to
- 20:43be called a certain pronoun and then some people are getting fired for using the wrong
- 20:48pronouns and we're just gotten into this just crazy delusion of culture.
- 20:54But I want to go back, that was April 2015 when he came out, Vanity Fair I think was
- 20:59the magazine.
- 21:00So put him on the cover, the former decathlon winner in the US Olympics on the, he's on
- 21:06the cover of Wheaties anyway.
- 21:09But 2008, I may be wrong within a couple of years.
- 21:14But Oprah Winfrey did a show with the so-called first pregnant man.
- 21:23First pregnant man.
- 21:24Was it Thomas Beatty or something like that?
- 21:26So first pregnant, it was a woman that had a beard or a goatee and hair on her face and
- 21:34she was pregnant and Oprah was setting the bar for happiness.
- 21:40Here's the delusion, call this person a man and he's pregnant and I'm thinking, okay.
- 21:45And then of course, what did the media do?
- 21:47They picked up the headline, hey, first pregnant man.
- 21:50So the delusion started about, I don't know, eight years, roughly eight to ten years
- 21:55or whatever before Bruce came out and then it just exploded.
- 22:00But to what kids are dealing with today, just share some more thoughts on that and I've
- 22:04got, you know, actually, I want to go to this real quick before run out of time.
- 22:10The rise of transgender suicide is at 40% now.
- 22:16And the number of trans homicides has doubled.
- 22:21So this is just a consequence of the rotten fruit that we've been seeing that these demonic
- 22:27agendas.
- 22:28Let's talk about that, Laura, your thoughts first, suicide.
- 22:31What we're doing is not working or what we've been doing as a culture as a country is
- 22:35not working.
- 22:36Go ahead and share your thoughts.
- 22:37Yeah.
- 22:38And there needs to be more studies on it, but their studies have shown that transgender people
- 22:45are far more likely to attempt to commit suicide or think about suicide.
- 22:50But the therapies and the medications and surgeries, none of this helps.
- 22:55And in fact, a lot of times it gets worse after that.
- 22:58And I can tell you as someone when you put all your eggs in this basket and you are totally
- 23:02convinced of this and you spend your entire every waking moment thinking about making this
- 23:07real.
- 23:08And then you realize it's not real.
- 23:09That's incredibly devastating.
- 23:12And so I was more suicidal after surgeries.
- 23:17And you know, people can say, oh, it's because their family is not affirming or whatever.
- 23:21And I don't know of any but like, especially when you're in your 20s, I didn't care that
- 23:25much what my parents thought to be honest.
- 23:27I knew they loved me.
- 23:29But you can find I had so many people around me affirming me and telling me this was wonderful
- 23:34and celebrating me.
- 23:35Yeah.
- 23:36It was not for lack of affirmation.
- 23:39But I also think there's, this is a demonic move of the enemy.
- 23:46Anything about when the children of Judah were taken captive, what is the first thing that
- 23:51they did to them?
- 23:53Do you remember the change their name?
- 23:56Change their name.
- 23:57Give them a Babylonian name and made them right.
- 24:00That's right.
- 24:01That is what the enemy is doing.
- 24:03And I think that's exactly this agenda.
- 24:05He wants to stop production of life.
- 24:08He hates human life.
- 24:10So if he can't get them through abortion, let's just cut them off even before this.
- 24:13They never have any kids.
- 24:15And they have no chance to.
- 24:17It not only marves the image of God, but this is really about destroying life anyway that
- 24:21he can.
- 24:22I'm glad you brought that up.
- 24:24It's so it's not just the transgender ideology.
- 24:27It's the population control cult that thinks human beings are the problem with all the
- 24:33climate change and all the stuff in the world.
- 24:35So there's more variables to come into this, but nonetheless, it is demonic.
- 24:40I just want to quote this one article I found says, people who transition are killing
- 24:45former loved ones, spouses, children, or random people at unprecedented rates.
- 24:50We've seen this since the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
- 24:53We've seen it at churches and schools in the last couple of years.
- 24:57The media will not talk about this.
- 25:00LGBTQ plus groups suggest the reason for the surge in homicides or suicides is due to
- 25:06lack of acceptance.
- 25:07But you say, and many transgender individuals will say that they get acceptance from friends
- 25:13or family or peers, but you've got to find someone to blame, right?
- 25:17Go ahead.
- 25:18Go ahead, Laura.
- 25:19Yeah.
- 25:20There's so much anger and the reason that people go into transgenderism and the first
- 25:25place.
- 25:26There could be all these surface reasons, you know, hundreds or, you know, many different
- 25:30reasons.
- 25:31But underneath all of that, really, I think the root of it is pride and then but self hatred
- 25:38at the same time.
- 25:39Like, I feel like I should be this amazing person that everybody loves and the world celebrates.
- 25:45But I hate myself.
- 25:46I hate my, the way I look, I hate my body, you know, whatever it is.
- 25:50And there is this desperation to recreate yourself and to somebody that everybody thinks
- 25:56is a hero.
- 25:57And they're, it breeds this incredible anger and bitterness and you have to have someone
- 26:03to blame.
- 26:04And a lot of times I think people blame Christians because they blame God.
- 26:08And Christians are the tangible representative of God that they can go after.
- 26:13And I think, honestly, like which said, it's demonic.
- 26:16But it's also the person's own angry, sinful heart that is mad at God.
- 26:21And I find that anger at God at the way he created them is really at the root of this.
- 26:27Yep.
- 26:28Because they're rebelling against God, their creator and the divine order of things.
- 26:34That's right.
- 26:35God is an orderly God, Satan is the author of confusion and the father of lies.
- 26:39And here we have the culture we're living with today with so much, so many lies and confusion.
- 26:44Another reason we need to all pray for wisdom in these days we're living in.
- 26:49But anyway, Alora Perry, smalls, edonsredemption.org, I'm going to look at a couple different shirts
- 26:54on your website.
- 26:55I love the one that says rebuilt by God with the hammer and the anvil.
- 26:59Love that.
- 27:00But I also love that blue butterfly.
- 27:01I'm going to get that for my wife.
- 27:02But thank you so much for all you do.
- 27:04And we're going to see you May 1st and 2nd in Green Bay at the World View Matters Conference.
- 27:09I'm excited about that.
- 27:11You're bringing your husband and your dog.
- 27:14Yes, I have a service talk.
- 27:17He's a golden retriever.
- 27:18He loves everybody, so he will enjoy meeting him.
- 27:21Awesome.
- 27:22I can't wait to meet, of course, Perry, to see you guys in person.
- 27:26But thanks for all you do.
- 27:28Friends, pray for Laura's health, her protection and the advancement of her ministry.
- 27:33We appreciate all you do, Laura.
- 27:34Thanks for your time.
- 27:35Thank you, God bless.
- 27:36God bless.
- 27:37Friends, thanks for watching, listening and sharing God bless you.
- 27:40And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
