- Craig: All right, I get it. You're ⁓ and three, or maybe you're one and two, and you feel like the season's over. Good news for you, it's not. We just need to make some changes. And today we're taking a look at some of my top trade targets. Welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. My name is Craig, and today we are looking at trade targets in fantasy football. We'll look at the running back, the wide receiver, and the tight end position. These are some guys that I think maybe are about to break out, and I think that you should go after. Starting at the running back position, we will take a look in Jacksonville. Beshaw Tootin has ⁓ kind of broke onto the scene. I mean not broke out of the scene. ⁓ I mean he was kind of predicted to be the lead back there in Jacksonville. I know there was a lot of talk about Chris Rodriguez. I wasn't really sure what to make of this backfield going into the season, but it appears that it is the Tootin show. I think that he's a very t very talented running back. I actually just went out and traded for him in my Dynasty League this week. ⁓ and I'm very excited about the the forecast for him. ⁓ you take a look at his season so far. He hasn't gone over more than 51% of the snaps in the running back position. ⁓ him and Chris Rodriguez still are kind of splitting those snaps, but Tootin is definitely dominating the carries so far. You look at his game so far this year: 15 for 66, ⁓ 13 for 65 and a touchdown. And then last week, week three against New England, he had 15 for 73 and a touchdown. Week three is a little misleading because Trevor Lawrence took that knee right at the goal line with eight minutes left in that game, and Tootin ended up getting in the end zone. So ⁓ Tootin's numbers maybe weren't going to be as good last week, but I still think that they are about to unleash this guy. ⁓ you look ahead at their schedule, they've got Cincinnati in week four, Philadelphia, and then Houston, and then that week seven bye. I think that these next three weeks are going to be very telling for Tootin and this Jacksonville offense. I could see them easing ⁓ or bumping that number up just a little bit over these next three weeks, going into that bye and then coming out and just unleashing Bayeshall Tutin against Indianapolis, a division opponent. ⁓ and then they have Baltimore, Tennessee, and the Giants. I could see him just going absolutely wild down the stretch for your fantasy football team. ⁓ and he is currently as the running back 16 right now. ⁓ he's priced. Pretty fair. I mean, I think that you could still get him for a pretty fair price. I don't think you have to break the bank for him. ⁓ but the the time is definitely closing on Base Shall Tutan. I think you need to act quickly on this one if you need a running back. It all depends on your team and your league, as do all of these trades. I mean, they all depend on what you need, what your league looks like. ⁓ and what kind of setup that you have. But I think that Beshall Tootin going forward is going to be a very, very valuable running back. The next guy on my list of trade targets is Chase Brown in Cincinnati. This is somebody that I was very, very high on coming into the season. I thought that his draft capital was low enough that he was going to really pay off ⁓ where you were taking him. And right now he's going as running back 19, so definitely not paying off yet. ⁓ but I think that that takeoff is coming. I mean, you look at his numbers with Joe Burrow in the lineup over his career, and he has absolutely dominated. ⁓ you look back at last year and his start ⁓ to the season, now that Joe Burrow wasn't in the lineup there for a while for Cincinnati, but down the stretch, Chase Brown exploded last year. And I think that the same could be true this year. Looking over at last year's numbers, I mean, you could see 13, 8, 6, 10, 11, 8, 12, 25. 19, then they go into that week 10 buy and he comes back out, goes 18, 15, 18, 18, 16, 32, 29, 19. I mean, those numbers right there in the playoffs, the fantasy football playoffs, I mean, really helped some teams out. ⁓ if you were able to trade for him at his lowest when he was back here before the buy, you probably won a championship ⁓ with him as maybe an RB two for you. And I think that the same could be true again this year. I mean, you look at His numbers so far through three games. He's got 18, 11, and 8 coming off his worst game so far. 13 carries for 61 yards and no touchdowns. He's only gotten into the end zone one time. ⁓ you could probably buy him for pretty cheap right now. And I really like the Cincinnati offense. I know that it hasn't necessarily worked out, but it never works out in Cincinnati in the beginning. Of the season. They always start slow and then they come on as the season goes. Give me the undisputed running back one in a very, very good offense all day long. He's got very little competition for touches. ⁓ I would go out and get Chase Brown if I needed a running back. The next guy that we're looking at is George Pickens for the Dallas Cowboys. ⁓ this is a guy that I wasn't super high on coming into the year, but I do think that the better days are coming for George Pickens. And for this Dallas Cowboys offense, ⁓ CeeDee Lamb has seen a lot of targets so far this year. I mean, he had a huge game in week two. ⁓ George Pickens only had six catches for 40 yards in week two. ⁓ but you can see, I mean, his targets so far six, eight, eleven, the big games are coming. He hasn't gotten into the end zone yet. ⁓ I believe he had a touchdown called back in week three. I can't remember exactly, but or maybe that was week two. ⁓ but anyway, the the touchdowns are coming. I mean, this is a passing offense that I want pieces of. I mean, Jake Ferguson is dominating right now. He had two touchdowns in week two. He had another touchdown in week three. George Pickens' touchdowns are coming. He is in a big year for his contract and he needs production. He is going to start getting louder and louder as the season goes, and that squeaky wheel is going to get the grease. ⁓ again, you look at his targets, six targets, eight targets, eleven targets. ⁓ hasn't gotten more than eighty-two yards in a game yet, hasn't scored a touchdown. This is probably the cheapest that you're going to be able to buy George Pickens. ⁓ and then obviously if anything happens to CeeDee Lamb, which you can't predict injuries, but ⁓ if anything h were to happen to Lamb, obviously the sky is the limit for George Pickens. ⁓ but even in his current role right now as the wide receiver two in Dallas, I want all those pieces of that Dallas offense right now. ⁓ he gets Houston, who has not really blown me away defensively this year. I mean, I think that they are a good defense, but certainly can pass on them, certainly can pass on Tampa Bay and Green Bay. And then Philadelphia, we just saw ⁓ the Chicago Bears kind of pick them apart with third string quarterback Case Keenum. So give me George Pickens right now in week or leading up to week four. I want every piece of that Dallas offense that I can get. Staying in the NFC East, we will look at the commander's wide receiver Terry McLaurin. This is a ⁓ kind of feeling ⁓ going out and trading for Terry McLaurin. But I think with Jaden Daniels being sidelined with that elbow injury, Marcus Mariota comes in and we already saw in one week of him and Terry McLaurin out there together. They have chemistry. ⁓ in the past we've seen it time and time again, Mariota looks for Terry McLaurin in just one game. I mean Terry already saw nine targets. ⁓ even in that game in week two against Dallas where Jaden Daniels went out. Terry McLaurin saw nine targets in that game as well. Hasn't been able to turn those into a lot of ⁓ receptions, ⁓ but he was able to get in the end zone in week three, and it helped his overall numbers. But you can see right now, I mean, he is listed as the wide receiver 34, so he's right there with Pickens. I think Pickens was number 33. both of these guys are very, very cheap right now. If you need a wide receiver two or even a high-end flex play, these are two guys that I would definitely go after. We'll see how long Daniels ends up being out for, but right now with Mariota in there as the quarterback, I really, really like Terry McLaurin. Looking over at the tight end position, we will go to Green Bay and Tucker Kraft, somebody that I was very, very high on in the pre-draft process. ⁓ I thought that he was gonna have a very big year, and I still think that he could have a very big year. ⁓ we've already seen injuries to Jaden Reed there in Green Bay. Christian Watson kind of came up limping a little bit or pulled up like a hamstring injury, maybe in week three. Haven't really heard anything else about that yet. So I'm not gonna bank on that yet. But obviously, there's a lot of injury history there with the Green Bay wide receivers. ⁓ and Tuckercraft, when he has been out there and healthy, he has shown that he is a dominant tight end. So far this season, he hasn't really done that. He was a little bit limited in week one. ⁓ they kind of told us that that was gonna be the case. ⁓ there was gonna be a ramp up period, and I think that we're seeing that maybe without limiting his snaps. I think that they're just maybe not looking his way right now and trying to limit him that way. ⁓ he's obviously a playmaker, so they need him out on the field. But you can see in week one, sixty-six percent of the snaps, that jumped up to ninety-eight percent in week two, ⁓ and then back down a little bit, kind of split the difference to seventy-six percent in week three. But with doing that, he still drew eight targets in that game. I think better days are definitely ahead for Tucker Kraft. He is currently Tight end number twenty seven. So you can get him fairly cheap. I think whoever it is in your league that ended up drafting him is probably panicking or they have already moved on to somebody else. I think you could go out and get Tucker Kraft for a fairly, fairly cheap price. Whatever that looks like, I wouldn't pay a super high price just because I'm still not fully sure that Tucker Kraft is back from his injury, but I do think better days are ahead for this Green Bay offense. Talk about better days and offenses. The Detroit Lions have a Dynamite offense. Once again, everything goes through Gibbs and St. Brown. They get all of the attention. They get all of the ⁓ notoriety. But Sam Laporta is putting together a very nice season as well. He currently leads all tight ends in route participation. He is out there on the field. ⁓ you can see right here, 81% of the snaps, 98%, 92%. When he's out there, he is just running routes, which is obviously a good thing. They're gonna get the ball to him more and more. A little dip in targets against the Jets this week, but they haven't really shown another wide receiver that has stepped up. Jamison Williams has been very quiet this year. And I think that the second best pass catching option behind St. Brown is Sam Laporta this year. And really he has been in the past. I mean, it was when Laporta went down with injury, is when Jamison Williams stepped up last year. And I think that going forward, Sam Laporta is going to just dominate the touches and the targets there in the pass game for Detroit. ⁓ somebody that is still fairly cheap because he's only gotten in the end zone one time. I mean he's ranked outside of the top ten tight ends. I still think that you could probably go out and get him fairly cheap ⁓ before the blowout comes. And it might even be this weekend against Carolina, Arizona next week. And then they have a buy. So I think right now is that window that you need to go out and buy him. Some very big games are coming from Sam Laporta. Well, that's what I've got for you guys today. Six of my top trade targets this week in fantasy football. Let me know down in the comments.
