  Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer, and as always

  Speaker 1: I ask that you join along with me in prayer.

  Speaker 1: You know, I was somewhere recently and somewhat jokingly said

  Speaker 1: about restaurants that the worst patrons for a restaurant are
• 0:22
  Speaker 1: the Saints, the Christians, and everybody kind of laughed about it,

  Speaker 1: but for me, it was just kind of ouch. It
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: wasn't funny to me. It really wasn't. It was a
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: comedian telling the story, and I thought, Wow, what a
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: sad indictment on the church as we're supposed to be
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: representatives of Christ today. As we get ready to pray,
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: Do the people on your job know you're safe? Do
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: the people in your household want to know the Jesus
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: that you know? Heavenly Father, we come before you with
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: humble hearts, God, thanking you for the gift of life
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: and the opportunity, Please God that you give us each
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: and every day. Lord, we desire to represent you well,
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: not only in our church, God, but in our home,
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: in our workplace, and everywhere that we go. When people
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: see us, we want them to see You. We want
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: them to see that there's something different. About us. They want,
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: we want them to see Your light shining in us.

  Speaker 1: Help us, God, to be light in darkness, a reflection
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: of your love, your grace, and your truth. God. Let
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: our words be kind and seasoned with wisdom. Let our
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: actions speak of integrity, compassion, and humility, whether we're at work,
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: whether we're at the dinner table or in a casual conversation. God,
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: let us bring honor to your name, God our hearts.

  Speaker 1: God against frustration, against pride, against negativity. Fill us with
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: patience when we're tested, strength, God when we're weak, and

  Speaker 1: love when we're challenged. Let us serve others with joy,

  Speaker 1: working diligently as if unto you, and treat everyone with
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: respect and kindness, the same kindness God and respect that
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: you've shown to us. Lord, help us to be consistent
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: in our faith, not just in moments of worship, but
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: in the everyday routines of life. Let our character reflect
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: the fruit of the Spirit and God. Let those around
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: us see You through our lives. Forgive us God for
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: the times that we've miss represented you. Thank you for
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: your grace and for equipping us to be ambassadors of Christ.
