- 0:02Speaker 1: you know, people on staff for all their various requirements,
- 0:06Speaker 1: and every now and then you get the opportunity to
- 0:09Speaker 1: be jealous of one.
- 0:11Speaker 2: And we're getting you are I am? I'm only human.
- 0:15Speaker 2: And Robbie Williams is, as I always say, as cute
- 0:18Speaker 2: as a.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Button and cheeky as a monkey, which is why you
- 0:21Speaker 1: know monkey.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Place, is why you just want to pop him in
- 0:23Speaker 3: your pocket.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Lisa, and Melville is on the line.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Hello, Lisa, Good morning, Lisa.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Good morning. How are you good?
- 0:31Speaker 1: Now? We heard the other day because you were speaking
- 0:33Speaker 1: to Huggy that you have indeed met Robbie Williams and
- 0:39Speaker 1: as we said, got quite up close and personal.
- 0:42Speaker 2: How what what?
- 0:43Speaker 4: What?
- 0:43Speaker 3: On?
- 0:43Speaker 2: What happened?
- 0:44Speaker 3: You copped a feel basically I did, But it was like.
- 0:49Speaker 4: People watching over you and making sure you weren't doing
- 0:52Speaker 4: anything inappropriate, which is quite funny considering for your massaging
- 0:57Speaker 4: on scenario.
- 0:58Speaker 1: But yeah, I know his reputation. Really so you were
- 1:04Speaker 1: employed to be a massage therapist for him on the
- 1:07Speaker 1: Millennium tour in Hong Kong.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it's actually it was at Millennium. I was wrong
- 1:11Speaker 4: because this was like twenty five years ago. Lace, it
- 1:14Speaker 4: was the it was Wedding's dumb It's was something like that,
- 1:17Speaker 4: and it was Asia Australasia Tour. Okay, it was two
- 1:21Speaker 4: thousand and one.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Well what was he like?
- 1:26Speaker 4: He was actually opposite of what you see in here.
- 1:29Speaker 4: He was really really quiet. He was, I guess psyching
- 1:33Speaker 4: him up self up for the concert. Yeah, and of
- 1:37Speaker 4: course I had so many instructions, don't talk to him,
- 1:40Speaker 4: don't look him in the eye. I'm like, oh, really,
- 1:44Speaker 4: yeah exactly, And then he had just eaten, so you know,
- 1:48Speaker 4: everyone fluffs around all these superstars and you see it
- 1:51Speaker 4: and it's quite extraordinary. So once we're in there and
- 1:54Speaker 4: he was like, look, can you just do my shoulders
- 1:56Speaker 4: and stuff like that, and I'm like, yeah, that's no problem.
- 1:59Speaker 4: So really on it was maybe ten fifteen minutes of
- 2:02Speaker 4: touching him, didn't get to see too much, and then
- 2:06Speaker 4: invited back to watch the rest of the entire show.
- 2:09Speaker 4: So yeah, it's pretty cool, right.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Was he was he was he feeling loose or was
- 2:14Speaker 3: he was he a bit tense before going on?
- 2:16Speaker 4: You had to you're funny, he was.
- 2:20Speaker 3: He was quite relaxed, that's a messive question, and I know.
- 2:26Speaker 4: The Massus question very relaxed, and he was, of course
- 2:30Speaker 4: inviting everyone back to his hotel afterwards, which I has
- 2:35Speaker 4: said to him that, you know, I'm married, so I'm
- 2:38Speaker 4: going to head on home to my husband, which can
- 2:41Speaker 4: kind of go. Oh, plenty of company, there.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Were, There were many other wannabe Massus is ready.
- 2:50Speaker 4: To go back to that twenty five years ago. He
- 2:52Speaker 4: had plenty of company. And he wasn't picky. Sorry Robbie,
- 2:56Speaker 4: but no.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I've heard that, but you know, twenty five years ago
- 3:00Speaker 2: he was. It was. It was a complicated kind of fellow.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And I don't know if you've watched his documentary, well
- 3:09Speaker 1: you aren't thinking you must have watched his documentary, like,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know, a sort of a different way to the
- 3:14Speaker 1: rest of us understanding you know what he was like.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that must have been really interesting for you to watch.
- 3:21Speaker 4: It was, and I really enjoyed it. And it made
- 3:23Speaker 4: a lot of sense because there's one persona behind and
- 3:27Speaker 4: then there's one persona in front of everyone else. So
- 3:30Speaker 4: there's the expectation from people that you've got to be
- 3:32Speaker 4: the same, you know, all the time, and you're not.
- 3:35Speaker 4: He was just it was just normal. He was actually okay.
- 3:37Speaker 4: He was a really nice guy.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I bet it was, yeah, very cheeky. And the reason
- 3:41Speaker 1: why a monkey did play him in the movie is
- 3:43Speaker 1: because he said he felt like he felt like he
- 3:46Speaker 1: was a performing monkey back in those days. All these
- 3:49Speaker 1: people pulling him in all these different directions, no wonder
- 3:52Speaker 1: he needed a good massage, so that's right.
- 3:55Speaker 4: He just couldn't get a decent one. It was like
- 3:58Speaker 4: visiting minutes that it's okay.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Well, not everyone has that story to tell. I'd lovely
- 4:05Speaker 2: to talk to you.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Thank you, thank you, Lisa, Bye bye, you too.
