- 0:02>> Speaker B: Jasmine, oolong, green
- 0:05and white. Long ago, these four
- 0:08teas were skillfully brewed at the blissful brew.
- 0:11Then everything changed when the shops
- 0:14popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:16All Mister Okaron, the shops owner and tea
- 0:19master, could do was to recruit four teenage
- 0:22orphans to learn his trade and staff his
- 0:25shop. A year has passed since the orphans were
- 0:28hired, and although their skills have progressed, they
- 0:30still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
- 0:34But I believe that they have the potential to make the
- 0:36blissful brew the greatest tea shop in the
- 0:39world. Last time
- 0:42on benders and brews in avatar legends.
- 0:45>> Speaker A: You guys are currently inside the big open
- 0:47cavern. For the third trial. You successfully make it to the other
- 0:50side. The next challenge, the tunnel
- 0:53finally opens up into a room. The wind is
- 0:56shooting down the staircase and it is so
- 0:59incredibly intense to the point where it's keeping
- 1:01you from even moving forward.
- 1:04>> Speaker C: So while he's climbing up, I'm basically like,
- 1:07putting my shoulder into him and I'm,
- 1:09like, shoving him forward.
- 1:11>> Speaker A: Brock, Mika, on your back. Sure enough, you guys make it to the
- 1:14other side safely.
- 1:15>> Speaker C: Sick.
- 1:16>> Speaker A: As you guys walk into the next room, you
- 1:19see a wide couch filled with water.
- 1:22So remember how when you first arrived and
- 1:25you asked if this place was haunted, then I
- 1:27mentioned there was a flesh eating spirit? So this is where
- 1:30that spirit resides.
- 1:32>> Speaker D: Guo hops into the boat and
- 1:34starts looking for a hat. All hands
- 1:37on deck.
- 1:38>> Speaker A: Miga, that fear causes you to go a little bit more
- 1:41intense than you'd want to. And the waves start to kick up a
- 1:44little bit harder as you. As you move the boat a little
- 1:47faster. Over the next probably
- 1:491015 minutes, you guys finally
- 1:52reach the other side, the door starts to
- 1:54open. You guys look inside this room.
- 1:57Around the middle pedestal
- 2:00is Madame Yang.
- 2:08Welcome back, everybody, to benders and brews season
- 2:11three, episode five. We left off
- 2:14last episode with quite the cliffhanger, but before, well,
- 2:17actually, we would have already had, like, a little what happened last time,
- 2:20that you would have already heard up until this point. But we'll get to a
- 2:23quick verbal reminder for everybody
- 2:26of the very basics after
- 2:29we introduce or reintroduce the players and
- 2:32their characters.
- 2:33>> Speaker D: Dave, I'm playing Guo Han
- 2:35Guohan the adamant. And
- 2:38as established last episode, Guo
- 2:41has smooth cheeks.
- 2:43>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 2:43>> Speaker D: No facial hair so far, not even a
- 2:46peach fuzz. At 14 years of age,
- 2:49he has been experimenting with,
- 2:52different tea, maybe tinctures, you would
- 2:55call them tinctures. Just, rubbing tea on his face.
- 2:58>> Speaker A: Basically to try to get facial, to.
- 3:00>> Speaker D: Try to have some
- 3:03sort of reaction.
- 3:06>> Speaker A: Well, prefer the desired reaction, I
- 3:09was gonna say. I mean, I'm sure he's experienced a couple of negative
- 3:12reactions. He got some rashes. Rashes
- 3:15and acne and.
- 3:19>> Speaker D: Some light burns.
- 3:21>> Speaker A: I like to think that there have been a couple of leaves that, like, at the
- 3:24very least, like, left kind of a, faded,
- 3:26you know, dark. So it kind of looked like you had, like, a
- 3:2905:00 shadow. Like you came out into the blissful
- 3:32brew one day, ready for a day at work, and everyone's like,
- 3:35whoa, whoa, what's up? What's with your
- 3:37face? And you just look like a dude that hasn't shaved in a
- 3:40day. Really stressed out. Maybe you had
- 3:43bags under your eyes cause you were tired.
- 3:46>> Speaker D: No, I had tea bags.
- 3:51>> Speaker C: it is good. All right, I got one.
- 3:53>> Speaker A: All right. Go for it.
- 3:55>> Speaker C: So, who brought you? I am con, and I am playing
- 3:57broccoli. And, little to Guo's
- 4:00knowledge, occasionally he'll pluck a
- 4:03hair off his beard and, like, put it next to his pillow while
- 4:06he's sleeping to give Guo a sense of,
- 4:09oh, I'm growing.
- 4:10>> Speaker A: A beard, but it's falling out as quick as falling
- 4:12out.
- 4:13>> Speaker C: I gotta keep rubbing this leaves on
- 4:16my face.
- 4:17>> Speaker A: I thought. I thought you were just saying that that's
- 4:20what Brock did for his own. He takes his own beard
- 4:23hair, and he puts it under his own pillow. And then every
- 4:26night, the beard fairy stops by and gives some
- 4:29of yuan under his pillow kiss, and it
- 4:31turns out just mister okra.
- 4:36That.
- 4:37>> Speaker C: That, would have been amazing.
- 4:38>> Speaker A: He just reaches under there, and he's like, oh, he's at
- 4:41it again. Brock, if you needed
- 4:44more money, you could just ask slip.
- 4:47The yuan underneath, runs off and
- 4:50puts Brock's beard hair in. Mister
- 4:53Okaron's beard hair. Jari's collecting?
- 4:55>> Speaker C: No, it's just given glow. False hope that.
- 4:58>> Speaker A: Oh, it's working.
- 5:01Oh, sorry. I should have said the beard
- 5:03hair. Fair or spirit? There we go.
- 5:06>> Speaker C: The beard hair spews.
- 5:07>> Speaker A: They don't have fairies in the avatar last air. But,
- 5:10Mikayla, you look like you're ready.
- 5:13>> Speaker E: Sure.
- 5:14>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 5:15>> Speaker E: I'm Mikayla. I play Micah.
- 5:17And Mika's fun fact is
- 5:20that she really loves
- 5:23flowers.
- 5:24>> Speaker A: Oh, okay.
- 5:26>> Speaker E: And, she has a goal to see some of the most
- 5:29rare flowers in her lifetime. Like, kind of like a
- 5:32bucket list.
- 5:32>> Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:35>> Speaker A: She was probably really excited in that cave with all the plants and
- 5:38stuff growing there. Yeah. Right on. And a tea shop's a good
- 5:41place because I like to think I'm pretty sure. I mean, there's some
- 5:43flowers that are used in teas.
- 5:46>> Speaker E: Probably not the white lotus flower or something.
- 5:48>> Speaker A: Ooh, that sounds fancy. Very cool. Does she grow them
- 5:51or just admire them?
- 5:53>> Speaker E: Just admires them.
- 5:54>> Speaker A: Right on. Right on.
- 5:54>> Speaker E: You know, where they naturally grow.
- 5:57>> Speaker A: Very cool. Very cool. All right, well, we'll have to integrate some
- 6:00flower viewing opportunity, maybe.
- 6:03last but not least, got Cameron.
- 6:06>> Speaker C: So these facts are supposed to be fun.
- 6:08>> Speaker A: they can be more fun. Tell me a different category
- 6:11they could fall under.
- 6:12>> Speaker C: Mine's kind of dark.
- 6:14>> Speaker A: That's fair. yeah, we do that.
- 6:15>> Speaker C: So last episode, we talked about spirits, and you
- 6:18said Guo and Mika. I've seen a spirit.
- 6:21Well, Bill has a frequent.
- 6:24He doesn't dream, but rather has
- 6:27a nightmare. And it's the same one every
- 6:29time. And I, won't say much,
- 6:32but the nightmare consists of a trapped spirit,
- 6:35and he had these nightmares a lot
- 6:39more often when he was at home, and that's played
- 6:41a fact and part of the reason he ran away. And ever since he
- 6:44ran away, these nightmares have been way less
- 6:47frequent. Probably because he's just not around at
- 6:50home anymore.
- 6:51>> Speaker A: Right.
- 6:52>> Speaker C: but they will. Once in
- 6:55a blue moon, this same nightmare will show up,
- 6:57and Bill will usually
- 7:00take a moment before showing back up to everyone just
- 7:03because he has to
- 7:06compose himself, basically after it.
- 7:08>> Speaker A: It kind of helps not being around the things that remind
- 7:11you of what, that spirit,
- 7:14basically. Yep, exactly. So being away from
- 7:17it definitely would ideally minimize it a little
- 7:20bit. For sure. So, interesting. Interesting. Well, if, I
- 7:23assume if people are interested in learning a little bit more, they
- 7:26can check out the prequels. I feel like it's related to that.
- 7:28>> Speaker C: It is related to that.
- 7:29>> Speaker A: That makes sense. Yeah. So definitely make sure to check out, Bill?
- 7:32Well, make sure to check out all the prequel episodes. I know I say
- 7:35this every time they get brought up, but I'm really proud with how they
- 7:38turned out. I think it was pretty epic. Really cool, like,
- 7:41story all kind of, partially
- 7:44pre enacted and written while also mixing
- 7:47the roleplay. So, anyway, yeah, it's really cool. So definitely go check those out,
- 7:50especially if you're curious about what the heck Cameron's, talking
- 7:53about. So awesome. All right, jumping
- 7:56back in for season three,
- 7:58episode five,
- 8:04madame M. Yang.
- 8:06And before you stands, sure
- 8:09enough, the aforementioned madam yang inside
- 8:12of this, this chamber where all these
- 8:15fancy, air nation relics and so on
- 8:18and so forth, this sort of inner sanctum in the back of the
- 8:21room, you can see what looks like sort of an open, pretty,
- 8:24pretty wide opening in the mountain where,
- 8:27some ropes kind of hang from, suggesting that maybe
- 8:30they had scaled the walls of this mountain all
- 8:33the way up so that they could get inside before the rest
- 8:36of you. whatever the case, madam Yang stands there. She's holding
- 8:39what seems to be a case, and there's a couple.
- 8:42There's like a letter on it, and, you know, with a
- 8:45beam line view of it. You can see that it
- 8:47has, Brock's name on it.
- 8:50suggesting that this is obviously the last or the
- 8:53not last clue, but the next clue that Mister Okaran had left
- 8:56behind here. it probably even features the case
- 8:59itself. Probably features the blissful brew logo. I don't know why I'm kind of beating
- 9:02around the bush there, but whatever the case, in addition to
- 9:05that, in her hand, she holds what looks like a
- 9:08small clay turtle, something that she
- 9:10must have grabbed off of one of the pedestals, something that obviously
- 9:13has apparently some kind of value. But whatever the
- 9:16case, accompanying Madame Yang is four
- 9:19hot leaf juice cronies, four of her
- 9:21elite operatives that have kind of caused you guys
- 9:24issues along some certain
- 9:27points. Mostly. Mostly back at the tea party back in season
- 9:30one.
- 9:30>> Speaker E: Can I use a little
- 9:33tiny blast of water, like a
- 9:36bb gun pellet? Add the turtle and just break
- 9:39it.
- 9:39>> Speaker B: You're gonna break the air nation relic that she's
- 9:42stealing?
- 9:44>> Speaker E: Well, what I would. I know it's an
- 9:47air relic nation or just. I'm just mad at it.
- 9:49>> Speaker A: I would say that she's picking it up off a pedestal.
- 9:52>> Speaker E: Oh, she's not holding it. I thought you said she was holding it.
- 9:54>> Speaker A: Oh, well, yeah. I mean, she's picking it up, so it's like, in her
- 9:57hand, it's not very big.
- 9:58>> Speaker C: I drop her into the ground again.
- 9:59>> Speaker A: Well, I mean, you could, She doesn't
- 10:02seem super startled by you guys. She kind of gives you a bit of a
- 10:05smirk, and she's like, well.
- 10:07>> Speaker F: Well, I
- 10:10was wondering if I'd managed to get in and out
- 10:13without you seeing me,
- 10:16but here we are.
- 10:20It's been quite some time since I last saw
- 10:23you. Or rather, since
- 10:26you saw me.
- 10:30After all, I've been keeping a
- 10:33close eye on the four of you ever since
- 10:35the funeral back in gaoling.
- 10:38>> Speaker C: That's hot.
- 10:40>> Speaker E: Ew.
- 10:41>> Speaker C: What?
- 10:42>> Speaker A: Disgusting.
- 10:45>> Speaker D: What's she doing here?
- 10:47>> Speaker A: Guru Topek. What? We've been tricked. We've been
- 10:50hoodwinked. He looks just as surprised and he.
- 10:52>> Speaker C: Goes, let us try.
- 10:54>> Speaker E: I'm gonna run towards her and punch her.
- 10:56>> Speaker A: Hold on. Not even wanna see that's my
- 10:59thing.
- 11:00>> Speaker C: I run blindly into physical
- 11:03altercations. That's my thing.
- 11:04>> Speaker A: in reference to Guo Han's concern, you all turn to look at
- 11:07guru tapiq, and he looks absolutely
- 11:10horrified. He says, please, mom. I don't
- 11:13know who you are, but the relic in your
- 11:16hand is very old and very important.
- 11:19Please, I beg you, put it back
- 11:22on the pedestal where you found it. And she
- 11:25just kind of looks at, and she goes, what?
- 11:28>> Speaker F: This whole thing?
- 11:30No, I think I'll keep
- 11:33it.
- 11:34>> Speaker A: And she puts it into her robe. She has, like, a
- 11:37pocket.
- 11:38>> Speaker E: I really want to punch her.
- 11:39>> Speaker A: You really want to punch her?
- 11:40>> Speaker C: That's my. I'll run with her.
- 11:43>> Speaker A: All right, the two of you guys, tabular.
- 11:45>> Speaker E: I'll punch her.
- 11:46>> Speaker C: I can't let her nut. But there's also four other guys there,
- 11:49too.
- 11:50>> Speaker E: I'm still gonna punch her.
- 11:52>> Speaker C: I would imagine we're gonna have to go through some of the other guys first, so
- 11:55maybe we pump the brakes.
- 11:56>> Speaker A: You know, it's a little.
- 11:58>> Speaker E: I'm a little in wily. I can.
- 12:01>> Speaker C: Let's not be too hasty. You know, it's weird when
- 12:03I'm saying that, but it is kind of
- 12:06weird.
- 12:07>> Speaker E: Brock. You're boring.
- 12:08>> Speaker C: I'm boring.
- 12:09>> Speaker E: I'm literally full of rage.
- 12:10>> Speaker C: I'm just going, you're full of rage?
- 12:13>> Speaker A: What's.
- 12:14>> Speaker C: You said that was such a giddy voice.
- 12:16>> Speaker D: What's the facial hair situation on
- 12:19these leaf juice employees?
- 12:21>> Speaker A: they were like, masks, so you can't even see their face.
- 12:23>> Speaker C: Not a fair fight. They look like they can fight.
- 12:26>> Speaker A: Yeah, they all take stances.
- 12:30>> Speaker D: I bet they got some beards under those masks,
- 12:34but, you know, it's a pretty rock.
- 12:36>> Speaker C: They don't have. They don't have a captain. Yeah, they don't have a
- 12:39hat. They don't got a cat.
- 12:41>> Speaker A: That's right, Brock.
- 12:43>> Speaker C: Exact.
- 12:44>> Speaker A: Captain.
- 12:45>> Speaker D: Captain's gotta be brave. Captain's gotta
- 12:48lead the charge.
- 12:49>> Speaker A: That's right. Yes.
- 12:50>> Speaker C: That's right. We're all going in. Right?
- 12:52>> Speaker A: I've got your back.
- 12:54>> Speaker D: Walking towards him, strutting, puffing
- 12:57out my whole chest.
- 12:59>> Speaker C: Bill's gonna walk behind you, and he's gonna whisper, do we
- 13:02start snapping again like last time?
- 13:04>> Speaker A: That was pretty effective, all things
- 13:07considered. All right, so I,
- 13:09Zamika just sprinted ahead. I was
- 13:12gonna say, so it sounds like everybody's moving in. It's just
- 13:15a matter of, like, well, Mika and
- 13:18Brock.
- 13:19>> Speaker C: I think whoa's strutting, and
- 13:22Bill's strutting alongside. So he's doing like, the Conor
- 13:25McGregor, like, with the arms,
- 13:29I'm more like, yeah, guo
- 13:31definitely not prepped for this situation, so
- 13:34Bill's gonna protect him and be
- 13:37like, ah, ah, you did it yourself.
- 13:40>> Speaker A: Whatever the case, this sounds like a combat experience, so
- 13:43that's what we're gonna jump into. So get your. Your little cards
- 13:46ready. look at your moves and so on and so
- 13:49forth. so you guys are gonna pick out the
- 13:52approaches. There we go. Yes, pick out
- 13:54your approach.
- 13:57>> Speaker E: Well, one of mine. Just fall under. Advance and attack.
- 13:59>> Speaker C: Okay, I will. Even though I'm sprinting, I will evade
- 14:02and observe.
- 14:03>> Speaker A: All right, is anyone taking defend and
- 14:06maneuver?
- 14:06>> Speaker C: I am taking defend, and you are taking defendant maneuver. I
- 14:09am also taking defendant maneuver.
- 14:11>> Speaker A: Okay, I'll let you guys go first.
- 14:14So you guys are going to be rolling with focus.
- 14:16>> Speaker C: I will assess the situation for the
- 14:19punch. Where it matters.
- 14:22Is that defendant maneuver, is that.
- 14:24>> Speaker A: Like, one of your special moves?
- 14:25>> Speaker C: Yeah, it's one of my special moves, yeah.
- 14:27>> Speaker A: Then, yes.
- 14:27>> Speaker C: When you assess the situation, you can always ask who or what here is most
- 14:30vulnerable to me, even on a mission. remember to take
- 14:33plus one ongoing to act in
- 14:36accordance with the answer.
- 14:38>> Speaker A: It technically isn't a combat move, but you
- 14:41don't have to be in combat. Like, you can
- 14:44interchange between the basic
- 14:47moves and the combat moves. But whatever the case. Yeah, you're rolling. Assess the
- 14:50situation well, yeah.
- 14:53Ooh.
- 14:53>> Speaker C: 1111.
- 14:54>> Speaker A: Okay, so what does that do for that particular ability?
- 14:57Not the assess the situation, the punch, where it
- 15:00matters, or whatever the case.
- 15:02>> Speaker C: I can always ask who or what here is
- 15:05most vulnerable to me. So on any
- 15:08turn after this, I can ask who or what's
- 15:11most vulnerable, and then if I act on
- 15:14that, I get a plus one to my role.
- 15:17>> Speaker A: Okay. Awesome.
- 15:19>> Speaker C: So I guess it doesn't count as,
- 15:22like, a move, right?
- 15:24>> Speaker A: But since. So it tells you to do assess a situation,
- 15:28right, like, that's part of the ability. So
- 15:31you got an eleven.
- 15:31>> Speaker B: So you actually asked two.
- 15:32>> Speaker A: So one of those questions can be the one that comes
- 15:35with your ability, and then you also have the other
- 15:38questions on assess a situation. So you could ask one of those
- 15:41as well.
- 15:42>> Speaker C: Okay, so I already know
- 15:45who or I know that's gonna be a given.
- 15:48>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 15:49>> Speaker C: okay, I'll ask who is the biggest. Well, I guess if I ask the biggest
- 15:52threat, it might be Madame Yang. So who
- 15:54amongst the
- 15:57grunts, okay. Is the biggest
- 16:01threat?
- 16:01>> Speaker A: Oh, man. I mean, they all seem pretty
- 16:04equally geared
- 16:07up.
- 16:08>> Speaker C: do any of them have weapons, or are they bear?
- 16:10>> Speaker A: Oh, yeah, let's say they all
- 16:13have, man, I was trying to think of, like, a really
- 16:15intimidating tea making utensil
- 16:19that they would have as weapons. Like, that's what they have equipped with
- 16:22them, but I think they would water, I think. Yeah,
- 16:24that's true. I think they all have, like, climbing
- 16:27stakes in their hands.
- 16:30And so those are kind of sharp. But, you notice that
- 16:33they also seem to probably all be vendors
- 16:36of some kind. I would actually probably argue
- 16:39that they are all earthbenders. they all kind of take
- 16:42a stance. And you, especially as an earthbender, you
- 16:45can recognize earthbending stances when you
- 16:48see them. and they all take a stance that you recognize.
- 16:52And then what was the question that comes with your ability? It was like something
- 16:55about weaknesses.
- 16:58>> Speaker C: Who or what is most vulnerable to me?
- 17:01>> Speaker A: Okay. Okay. let's see here.
- 17:04>> Speaker C: They're all sort of equally.
- 17:06Equally yoked, right?
- 17:08>> Speaker A: Right.
- 17:09>> Speaker E: Who's the pretty lady? He can.
- 17:12>> Speaker A: Well, I was gonna say you can obviously turn around and
- 17:15start attacking your friends. They would all be obviously
- 17:18unexpected to that idea. But, no, more
- 17:21importantly, madam Yang has, has both of her hands full
- 17:24right now. Well, I guess she did put the turtle in one of them, but
- 17:27otherwise, you know, she doesn't have anything. No weapons or
- 17:30anything like that. Like that. So, in theory, she's
- 17:32weakest. If you were to say, I
- 17:35would charge her right
- 17:38now. Technically, you'd have to get past the people.
- 17:41So maybe she's not quite like the weak linked
- 17:44person.
- 17:44>> Speaker E: Let me see if I get my punch in.
- 17:46>> Speaker C: You gotta get through the grunts first.
- 17:48>> Speaker E: I'm small and wily.
- 17:50>> Speaker A: I'm gonna say that one of them seems to have what looks
- 17:53like maybe a little bit of a limp. He takes a stance, and
- 17:56his, his leg looks a little weak.
- 18:00So I'm gonna, I'm gonna give that. That's, you know, I'm supposed to use your
- 18:03guys's abilities and moves to help me develop the story,
- 18:06so that's how I'm gonna do it. Okay, so one of them, seems a little
- 18:09bit. Maybe he's injured himself on the way here, or
- 18:12herself. It's really kind of hard to tell when they're wearing masks and everything.
- 18:15>> Speaker E: Madam Yang probably kicked her.
- 18:17>> Speaker A: Oh, geez. I mean, that's entirely
- 18:20possible. She is rude. She is rude. That's true.
- 18:23>> Speaker E: She doesn't care about her staff.
- 18:24>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 18:25>> Speaker D: Hot leaf juice doesn't have any short term disability.
- 18:29>> Speaker A: Okay, so, I'm gonna say that. So that was your,
- 18:32your combat attempt. And then, Bill, you're also taking defendant maneuver.
- 18:35What are you doing? I mean, I guess you're divert.
- 18:38Divert? Okay, tell me about divert. That must be one of your
- 18:41moves.
- 18:41>> Speaker C: Just if one of my allies is about to get attacked, I jump
- 18:44in their way.
- 18:45>> Speaker A: Oh, okay.
- 18:46>> Speaker C: Defend them and also take the damage itself and then
- 18:49retaliate.
- 18:50>> Speaker A: Nice. Okay, very cool. so that's kind of at the. Well, did you
- 18:52roll for that? Yeah, I just did.
- 18:54>> Speaker C: 1313.
- 18:55>> Speaker A: Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. so
- 18:57actually, as I'm trying to remember on a ten
- 19:00plus, you choose one for the list. that's one of your
- 19:03practiced techniques. So, yeah, you're good to
- 19:05go. Learn.
- 19:06>> Speaker C: Practice handmastered.
- 19:08>> Speaker A: Oh, nice, nice. Okay, so, yeah, you're good to
- 19:11go to easily do that. So, okay, so you take
- 19:14that stance up, ready to go. Oh,
- 19:17okay. Oh, you have to pick somebody.
- 19:18>> Speaker C: Yeah, I pick an ally to defend.
- 19:20>> Speaker A: All right.
- 19:21>> Speaker C: If they don't get attacked, then I just spend the
- 19:23turn doing nothing.
- 19:25>> Speaker A: Well, yeah, yeah, no, that's fair. okay,
- 19:28so you prepare. You kind of, like, step towards guo side.
- 19:31Ready?
- 19:32>> Speaker C: Like I said, I'm following him.
- 19:33>> Speaker A: And.
- 19:33>> Speaker C: Yeah, snap and stride.
- 19:37>> Speaker A: You've got your staff at the ready in one hand, you're snapping on the other
- 19:40hand. Awesome. okay, madame Yang is also taking
- 19:42defend and maneuver. She technically
- 19:45takes, a couple of different moves, all things
- 19:48considered. she shouts out.
- 19:50>> Speaker F: She says, it seems you have no
- 19:53wish to hear the tales of how
- 19:56I followed and stalked your
- 19:59every move ever since
- 20:02leaving gowling up
- 20:05until this point.
- 20:07>> Speaker C: Well, what if we get her monologuing?
- 20:10>> Speaker A: I added monologue.
- 20:13>> Speaker F: Maybe you can stop by, my
- 20:16up and coming hot leaf
- 20:19juice gowling shop
- 20:22once we're open, and I'll,
- 20:24dish all the details.
- 20:27>> Speaker A: She's using defendant maneuver. She's using seize position.
- 20:29Position. And she bolts for
- 20:32the opening, grabs one of the ropes and
- 20:35hops out the door.
- 20:37>> Speaker E: Excuse me?
- 20:38>> Speaker A: Or the window or whatever you want to call it.
- 20:42>> Speaker E: Absolutely not.
- 20:43>> Speaker A: You, see, guru Topek, he was
- 20:46probably going to also defend a maneuver.
- 20:49he was going to do something to
- 20:52protect you guys, but as soon as he sees her fly.
- 20:55Fly or jump out the proverbial
- 20:57window, with one of the rare air nation
- 21:00artifacts that obviously has some sort of importance to him, he
- 21:03also goes running and leaps out the
- 21:05window, leaving you guys here with
- 21:08just the hot leaf juice employees.
- 21:10>> Speaker C: Why did she even come on this trip?
- 21:13>> Speaker E: I was running.
- 21:13>> Speaker A: She was here to get something, obviously.
- 21:17>> Speaker E: Yes.
- 21:18>> Speaker A: and then that takes me to a advance and attack. And Mika, you took
- 21:21it. did Gohan also take it.
- 21:23No. Okay. You're doing a bit of it. Okay. Mika, what are
- 21:26you doing with your advance and attack? Or actually, you roll with passion
- 21:29first, and then you can tell me what you're doing, because we have to
- 21:32find out whether or not you get to do anything.
- 21:35>> Speaker E: Apparently not, because. Madme, just
- 21:38do it out of here.
- 21:39>> Speaker C: I got a plan eight.
- 21:42>> Speaker A: Okay, perfect. So you can use one basic or master
- 21:45technique.
- 21:45>> Speaker C: I'm excited for this idea, or
- 21:48she's.
- 21:49>> Speaker A: Not gonna get far.
- 21:49>> Speaker C: I got an idea. I've got an
- 21:52idea. I may not have a plan, gentlemen.
- 21:55>> Speaker E: Well, I was gonna strike, but
- 21:58since I can't strike, I may not have a smash.
- 22:00>> Speaker C: You can strike.
- 22:01>> Speaker E: Well, why can't you strike?
- 22:02>> Speaker C: I may not have a brain.
- 22:03>> Speaker A: Oh, well, you can strike one of.
- 22:05>> Speaker E: The others, so I'm gonna smash something.
- 22:08>> Speaker A: Okay, you're just upset. Freaking
- 22:11balls. Okay, wait.
- 22:13>> Speaker E: I don't want to smash something.
- 22:15>> Speaker A: Okay, never mind. She does not want to smash everybody.
- 22:18>> Speaker E: Hold on a second.
- 22:19>> Speaker A: She's too fatigued. She's too
- 22:22tired.
- 22:22>> Speaker E: All of my things are.
- 22:26>> Speaker A: Well, you can strike instead.
- 22:29>> Speaker C: Just punch one of the guys, teach him a
- 22:32lesson.
- 22:33>> Speaker E: I'm gonna smash something. I don't care.
- 22:37>> Speaker A: Okay, tell me what you are doing.
- 22:40>> Speaker E: I am gonna use
- 22:43the, one of the empty pedestals.
- 22:46Yeah, I'm just gonna shove it
- 22:49towards somebody or something.
- 22:50>> Speaker A: Wow, Mika's using physical force.
- 22:54Okay, sounds good. You shove
- 22:56a. I'm a teenage girl.
- 22:58>> Speaker E: You know, I have a lot of emotion right now.
- 23:00>> Speaker A: Okay, totally fair, I think.
- 23:03awesome. So you grab one of these pedestals that's sitting in the
- 23:06room, and you just hurl it at one of the
- 23:09hot, leaf juice employees. Maybe probably one of them closest to the window,
- 23:12as if you were trying to, like, hurl it out the window after Madam Yang, whatever the
- 23:15case, it slams into this hot leaf juice employee,
- 23:18and they are now impaired. They've been
- 23:21hit with this giant rock kind of unexpectedly, so
- 23:24I'm going to mark them on that. Whoa,
- 23:27you're taking the. Oh, actually, no, sorry. They're all
- 23:30doing advancement attack. I forgot
- 23:33about that. Awesome. So they're going to do, two
- 23:36moves, so they attend to commands. they get
- 23:38a additional fatigue on all
- 23:41attacks made next exchange. So not this
- 23:44exchange currently, but, they're all essentially inspired
- 23:47by, madam Yanks words, which was to stop them at any
- 23:50cost. I don't know if I said that.
- 23:51>> Speaker E: I don't think you did.
- 23:52>> Speaker A: Okay, well, that was for.
- 23:54>> Speaker C: So I guess that's not really their objective.
- 23:56>> Speaker A: Now, whatever the case, that's their primary
- 23:59one. Otherwise, they're going to three of them that are. Well, actually,
- 24:02the one that's impaired will also. No, the one that's impaired doesn't
- 24:05do it. I'm gonna say he's, he's unable to as he
- 24:08picks himself up from the
- 24:10pedestal that was thrown at him. But whatever the case, the other
- 24:13three go to attack. one of them swings a
- 24:16punch at Brock. Brock, you
- 24:19have an option here. You can either mark to fatigue,
- 24:22a condition, or shift your balance away from
- 24:25center. Your choice.
- 24:29>> Speaker C: I can't try and just block it? No,
- 24:32to fatigue.
- 24:34>> Speaker A: Mark a condition or shift your balance away from
- 24:37center.
- 24:38>> Speaker C: well, let's see if I shift, bounce away from center. I'm at force
- 24:41plus three.
- 24:42>> Speaker A: Ooh. Getting on this edge there.
- 24:44>> Speaker C: And that's right where I want to live.
- 24:46>> Speaker A: I'm going on these. Oh, my gosh. He's going towards the
- 24:49edge.
- 24:50>> Speaker C: Balance is now force plus three.
- 24:52>> Speaker A: Holy cow. All right, sounds good. one of
- 24:55them strikes at Guo, which is therefore
- 24:58blocked by,
- 25:01Bill. So what happens in that situation,
- 25:03Bill?
- 25:05>> Speaker C: I, take a fatigue.
- 25:06>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 25:07>> Speaker C: Then I return whatever damage they. We're gonna
- 25:10do back at them.
- 25:12>> Speaker A: Nice. Okay. So they would do two
- 25:15fatigues. You are dealing fatigue back
- 25:18at them. Yeah. Fantastic. Awesome. So
- 25:21describe to me what happens. This guy comes over. I'm
- 25:24gonna say that he, like, jams his fist into the ground
- 25:27as he's walking. He kind of, like, leans over and just kind of
- 25:30scrapes his hand against the ground. And as mentioned before, I would
- 25:33argue that they are all earth. I say I argue. I don't think I make it
- 25:36the story here. They're all earthbenders. So he, like,
- 25:38scoops up stone as he goes, and he
- 25:41forms it into, like, a stone fist and goes to
- 25:44lunge towards. Whoa. You quickly step
- 25:46out to deal with this. How are you doing that? Like, what's,
- 25:49what's. Gimme this. The visual.
- 25:53>> Speaker C: I like to imagine that as he, like, is raising
- 25:56his hand to, like, hulk smash.
- 25:58>> Speaker A: Nice.
- 25:58>> Speaker C: Wohan. Bill just kind of steps in. He,
- 26:01like, slides in mid snow.
- 26:03>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 26:04>> Speaker C: And he, like, redirects his, his bo staff
- 26:06right to, like, alongside his wrist as he's
- 26:09swinging. And he redirects it so it goes straight down.
- 26:12>> Speaker A: Oh, cool.
- 26:12>> Speaker C: So that basically throw his body straight
- 26:15down. He just lands, smashing into the ground. He slams into
- 26:18the face first. Yeah.
- 26:19>> Speaker A: Awesome. I love it. And he just, you just see his kind of head kind
- 26:22of bounce a little bit as it hits the ground. Yeah.
- 26:24>> Speaker C: and then Bill snaps again, very
- 26:27intimidatingly, right in his face.
- 26:29>> Speaker A: All right, the last one, sees Micah hurl
- 26:32that. That column over at the other buddy
- 26:35and runs.
- 26:35>> Speaker E: He's very scared.
- 26:37>> Speaker A: He's a little scared.
- 26:39>> Speaker C: His knees are buckling, and he thinks.
- 26:41>> Speaker A: Wow, she's obviously the strongest person of this
- 26:43group. I need to take her down. So he, too,
- 26:46rushes forward, and he does, like, a spin
- 26:49kick and kicks a stone at you.
- 26:52just as I mentioned before to Brock, you need
- 26:55to take either to fatigue, mark a condition, or
- 26:58shift your balance away from center.
- 27:02Which would you prefer?
- 27:05>> Speaker E: definitely not the fatigue.
- 27:07>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 27:11>> Speaker E: I'll shift it away from center.
- 27:13>> Speaker A: Oh, all right. More towards survival.
- 27:15>> Speaker E: Yep.
- 27:16>> Speaker A: Deeper she goes into survival. you block
- 27:19this chunk of my.
- 27:19>> Speaker E: Friends, try to stay. Stop me from going to punch Madame Yang, you
- 27:22know?
- 27:23>> Speaker A: Mm Yeah, that's fair.
- 27:24>> Speaker E: I don't want to lean towards them.
- 27:25>> Speaker A: Yeah. All right, sounds good.
- 27:27>> Speaker C: I got Madam Yang for you. I got it.
- 27:29>> Speaker A: Okay. You managed to block this chunk of rock,
- 27:32but your survival instinct, this desire
- 27:35to just kind of block out your friends, you sort of
- 27:38horse blind. You don't even see your friends kind of in the
- 27:41background.
- 27:41>> Speaker E: I'm rage blind.
- 27:42>> Speaker A: Rage? Yes. You're furious. You're focused as
- 27:45you angrily stalk towards this enemy that just hurled
- 27:48a rock at you.
- 27:50>> Speaker C: Whoa.
- 27:50>> Speaker A: You are evading and observing. What are you doing? Or actually roll
- 27:53with? Oh. You clear one fatigue, and then you roll
- 27:56with creativity or harmony.
- 27:58>> Speaker D: All right, I'm going to do a
- 28:01fighting technique called eat dirt. And so
- 28:04the guy who just was attacking
- 28:07Micah, I'm going to
- 28:10lift up a small segment of dirt at his
- 28:12feet and push his ankle out so
- 28:15he, trips him up.
- 28:17>> Speaker A: Nice. Okay, so roll with either creativity
- 28:19or harmony. It's up to you. And if you have a
- 28:22fatigue, you can clear a fatigue. That's kind of another
- 28:25one of the added benefits of vade.
- 28:27>> Speaker C: And observe.
- 28:28>> Speaker A: Create.
- 28:32>> Speaker D: that's a seven.
- 28:33>> Speaker A: Seven. Okay, so, yeah, you still get to do either a
- 28:36basic or master technique, which this would fall under that.
- 28:39Okay, so you slide this little bit of rock
- 28:42out from under this guy that's attacking your friend Mika.
- 28:45What does it do?
- 28:45>> Speaker D: Again, your target is impaired and unable to
- 28:48choose. Defend and maneuver in the next exchange.
- 28:51>> Speaker A: Okay. All right, sounds good. So you slide this
- 28:54chunk of rock out from under his foot, causing him to kind of stumble a little
- 28:57bit. And he is now impaired. He maybe, like, twisted his ankle a little
- 29:00bit. you know how, like, when you step wrong and it
- 29:03kind of, like, twists your foot as you come down. It kind of does that
- 29:06now. He's kind of sore. Whatever. the case, he cannot take
- 29:09defend and maneuver next turn. And he also
- 29:12has a minus two to all physical actions.
- 29:15And so that's moving. That's, that's where we got there. So we're
- 29:18moving into the next round of the exchange. So everybody pick a
- 29:21move that you would like to do,
- 29:23or an approach, rather.
- 29:25>> Speaker C: I will advance an attack.
- 29:26>> Speaker A: Is anyone taking defend and maneuver, since that's the first?
- 29:29>> Speaker C: I am. You're taking.
- 29:30>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 29:31>> Speaker E: No.
- 29:31>> Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. All right.
- 29:34So, Bill, what are you doing
- 29:37with defendant maneuver? Or actually, rather roll of focus. And then. Then you
- 29:40do it. Sorry, I always forget that.
- 29:42>> Speaker C: I'll roll 14.
- 29:45>> Speaker A: Holy cow.
- 29:47>> Speaker C: so I figured I stepped in front of Gohan when
- 29:50I defended him the last turn. So now I'm just walking forward
- 29:53over this dude.
- 29:54>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 29:55>> Speaker C: And if another guy comes to, like, defend him as I'm standing
- 29:57above him, I'm ready to retaliate.
- 30:00>> Speaker A: Okay, sounds good. And you actually, if you're doing basic
- 30:03moves, you can actually take two since you rolled a 14.
- 30:06>> Speaker C: Oh, I can take a second one?
- 30:07>> Speaker A: Yeah. So you can retaliate, and you can also do one
- 30:10of the other two.
- 30:11>> Speaker C: Oh, okay. Then I'll seize a position. Okay. As my second
- 30:14one, since I can't. And the position I'm seizing, it
- 30:17says, I can see establish an advantage position.
- 30:20Basically, the advantage position would be
- 30:23over the guy I'm above.
- 30:24>> Speaker A: The guy that you just knocked over? Yeah.
- 30:26>> Speaker C: So I'm standing above him. So I have an advantage against him.
- 30:29>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 30:30>> Speaker C: Probably not anyone else, but I have an advantage where, like, he's
- 30:32underneath me, and I have my bo staff above him. And, like, if he tries
- 30:35to attack me, like.
- 30:36>> Speaker A: Oh, okay. I was gonna say.
- 30:38>> Speaker C: So he has to take in a fatigue if he was to attack me,
- 30:41basically.
- 30:41>> Speaker A: Oh, okay.
- 30:43>> Speaker C: On top of whatever he does.
- 30:45>> Speaker A: Oh, it says, any foe engaged, you can
- 30:48mark one fatigue to block this technique. I would say he doesn't.
- 30:51>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 30:51>> Speaker A: but whatever the case, so it says, engage, disengage with a
- 30:54foe overcoming negative status. Effect
- 30:56established. Okay, so, yeah. Okay, so in order
- 30:59to attack you, because you kind of have an advantage,
- 31:02this is the guy that's on the ground. You basically, like, step on
- 31:05him. You're like him on the ground. If he wants to
- 31:08do anything, he's gonna exist, have to exert himself a
- 31:11little extra in order to, do any kind of attack against
- 31:14you.
- 31:14>> Speaker C: Okay, awesome.
- 31:15>> Speaker A: I like it. And then otherwise, you are retracted.
- 31:17>> Speaker C: Retaliating anyone else attacks me.
- 31:19>> Speaker A: Yeah. Yes. Perfect. Okay, sounds good.
- 31:32>> Speaker B: hey, everyone. Skylar here. Are you a fan of session zero
- 31:35heroes and the shows we produce or the characters involved?

- 32:14>> Speaker A: Whoa. You're doing an advance or, sorry, defended maneuver?
- 32:17>> Speaker D: Yep.
- 32:17>> Speaker A: Okay, so roll with focus. And then based on that,
- 32:20you tell me what you are up, to eight. Eight.
- 32:23Okay, sounds good. So you can either use a basic or
- 32:26master technique.
- 32:28>> Speaker D: I'm going to use master, technique, pinpoint
- 32:31aim.
- 32:31>> Speaker C: So take time then.
- 32:33>> Speaker D: Take the time you need to line up a perfect shot.
- 32:35Become prepared in the next exchange.
- 32:38If you have. If you advance an attack,
- 32:41yada, yada.
- 32:42>> Speaker A: yeah, yeah. Awesome. So you are now prepared.
- 32:45You, is there someone in particular that you are lining up a shot
- 32:48with?
- 32:48>> Speaker D: So Madame Yang has kind of exited the scene?
- 32:51>> Speaker A: Yeah, a little bit, or at least she's flown.
- 32:53>> Speaker C: The way I keep my eye out.
- 32:55>> Speaker D: For her to come back in case Brock flushes her
- 32:58out.
- 32:58>> Speaker C: Sorry, not if I have anything to say about it.
- 33:01>> Speaker A: And I'd say that, you know, you kind of take a step back to kind
- 33:03of observe the scene in front of you and prep your
- 33:06attack. So I'm not gonna say that, like, you have to necessarily
- 33:09pinpoint on one specific person. if it comes
- 33:12back around to the next exchange, you can kind of alter
- 33:15that. It's not like Hunter's mark and D and D, right?
- 33:18>> Speaker D: I get a. So I reach into my pouch and pull
- 33:21out a small rock.
- 33:22>> Speaker C: Nice.
- 33:23>> Speaker D: Kind of get that ready in my hand
- 33:25to fling out the classic
- 33:28guo's pouch of pebbles.
- 33:30>> Speaker C: Yes.
- 33:31>> Speaker A: Awesome. All right. Jumping over to advance and
- 33:33attack. Who is taking advance and attack?
- 33:36>> Speaker C: I am taking advance and attack.
- 33:38>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 33:39>> Speaker C: All right, so first, can you describe the scene
- 33:41in front of me all the way to those ropes that are
- 33:44hanging from. From my point of view
- 33:47to them ropes. What is the scene looking like?
- 33:50>> Speaker A: All right, sounds good. So in total, in this room, there
- 33:52are five different little pedestals
- 33:55each with a. Well, three of
- 33:58them with a relic of some kind on
- 34:01them, some sort of air nation relic. One of them was the
- 34:04one that Mika threw at one of the other, hot leaf
- 34:06juice employees, which is across the
- 34:09room, closest by the window. he's kind of picking himself
- 34:12up. He's pushing this, pedestal or whatever off he could
- 34:15just. You watched. She just, like, picked it up and threw it
- 34:18at him. I'm sure there's a little bit of pride rising up
- 34:21in your heart as you. As you saw this.
- 34:23>> Speaker C: That's my dishwasher.
- 34:24>> Speaker A: That's my dishwasher. Aka, that's
- 34:27my fake wife.
- 34:28>> Speaker C: That's my sister wife.
- 34:30>> Speaker A: Whoa. This is kind of weird.
- 34:33>> Speaker C: I mean, if we're going off of last episode
- 34:36or two episodes ago, I.
- 34:37>> Speaker E: Did say I was his sister.
- 34:39>> Speaker A: His sister and my wife.
- 34:42>> Speaker C: My wife.
- 34:43>> Speaker A: There's an empty, pedestal that's, like, kind of directly in
- 34:46front of you. That was the one that, madam Yang had taken.
- 34:49Whatever Mister Okaran had left behind for you guys came off of that
- 34:52pedestal. obviously, she took the turtle one as well, but that was on
- 34:55the one that Mika threw. Moving on. There is one
- 34:58hot leaf juice employee that is currently being stood
- 35:01on by Bill. he is standing next
- 35:03to Guo and is confronting another one. And then
- 35:06the third one that's not kind of picking himself up off the ground
- 35:09is the one that's directly challenging Mika.
- 35:12Gotcha.
- 35:13>> Speaker C: And, what's the rope situation
- 35:16looking like that Madame Yang escaped on?
- 35:18>> Speaker A: Yeah. there are
- 35:21two ropes that are hanging out of this sort
- 35:24of open gap in the mountain's
- 35:27wall, and so you can just. I mean, it's like, just
- 35:30outside, right? Like, open air outside
- 35:33of it.
- 35:33>> Speaker C: Okay.
- 35:34>> Speaker A: And you can see, obviously, that one of them is kind of taught that's the one
- 35:36that she grabbed onto. And it's like.
- 35:41>> Speaker C: I may not have a plan, gents, but I've got an
- 35:43idea. Okay, my
- 35:46plan. I would like to
- 35:48invoke Brock's ability to Bugs
- 35:51Bunny. So I, In
- 35:54my head, this is the plan.
- 35:57Brock runs,
- 36:00dives into the ground like bugs Bunny
- 36:02under all the action
- 36:05towards where Madame Yang escapes.
- 36:07>> Speaker A: Okay, hoping that you can, like, burst out.
- 36:10>> Speaker C: Hoping that I can. Well, I'm gonna pop up at the
- 36:12ropes, to which
- 36:15I then plan to either
- 36:18hoist or, like, I either want
- 36:21to cut the rope that Yang is on just to send her to her
- 36:24death, depending on how high.
- 36:27>> Speaker A: Oh, so you're not even planning on going under and popping out of the mountain.
- 36:30You're just trying to get under the enemies currently
- 36:33and then try to get to the rope.
- 36:34>> Speaker C: Trying to get to the rope.
- 36:35>> Speaker A: Because then I was like, man, you're asking a little bit much, but
- 36:38that's.
- 36:38>> Speaker C: A lot more reasonable to get to the ropes because then I plan
- 36:41to, depending on if she's far enough
- 36:44down.
- 36:45>> Speaker C: I can try and just jump down, confront
- 36:48her or try and pull her up.
- 36:50>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 36:50>> Speaker C: Because I feel like she's a frail old woman. I feel it. And Brock's a
- 36:53little, she's like middle aged.
- 36:54>> Speaker A: She's about, you gotta keep in mind, her and Okaran like went
- 36:57to school together.
- 36:58>> Speaker E: She's probably within your age limit.
- 37:00>> Speaker C: Oh yeah, she's in my ballpark. To all the older ladies,
- 37:03she's in my ballpark. But I'm just thinking like, would
- 37:05Brock be able to realistically
- 37:08pull her back up? Or if she's high enough
- 37:11off the ground, I can cut the rope, right, and then
- 37:14send her plummeting to her inevitable
- 37:16death. Or I can jump down and try and confront her.
- 37:19But I plan to just at this point, bugs bunny
- 37:22my way to the ropes, right.
- 37:25And do that.
- 37:26>> Speaker A: Okay, so you can absolutely do that. But
- 37:29I, I will say I think this falls under seize
- 37:32a position. Okay, which would be a defendant maneuver, which is fine,
- 37:35we can do that.
- 37:36>> Speaker C: So I will seize a position.
- 37:37>> Speaker A: Yes. So you are rolling with focus in order to do
- 37:40a defended maneuver.
- 37:42>> Speaker C: Yikes.
- 37:43>> Speaker A: That's.
- 37:43>> Speaker C: Well, with my plus, it's a seven.
- 37:46>> Speaker A: Hey, that's still a basic move. You can still do a basic move with
- 37:48that. All right, so you leap
- 37:51into the air and comically dive into the
- 37:54dirt and stone below you and you begin to
- 37:57tunnel over, popping out over by
- 38:00the sort of window opening of this
- 38:03chamber. And you take a peek outside
- 38:05and you can see, in fact, madame ying sort of just
- 38:08like free. What do they call that? Free fall.
- 38:11I mean basically free falling. Falling.
- 38:13>> Speaker C: Free scaling.
- 38:14>> Speaker A: Yeah, free scaling. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ah, free scaling. down the
- 38:17mountain, kind of holding the rope as she kind
- 38:19of just drops down. She's about, let's say halfway.
- 38:22You see guru tapik, he's on an air
- 38:25glider. he's kind of soaring after her.
- 38:28Pretty, pretty straight down. he's not far behind her.
- 38:31>> Speaker C: How? Approx. How long is this
- 38:33road?
- 38:34>> Speaker A: it is long enough to reach all the way down to where you can see
- 38:37a pathway that kind of like must curve
- 38:40around the mountain. so it's maybe, let's
- 38:43say 200ft.
- 38:44>> Speaker C: Okay.
- 38:45>> Speaker A: And there's a cart sitting down there with a hot leaf juice
- 38:48logo on it. And it's tethered to a couple of,
- 38:51ostrich horses. Oh, you don't say. Yeah, she had a
- 38:54prepared escape. There's also a hot leaf juice employee in
- 38:57there who's like, like the driver.
- 39:00>> Speaker C: You don't say.
- 39:01>> Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, well, I've got stuff to think about. All right,
- 39:04sounds good. Well, that's perfect. Okay.
- 39:05>> Speaker C: How far down is she?
- 39:06>> Speaker A: She's about 100ft. Yeah.
- 39:08>> Speaker C: So she's halfway.
- 39:10>> Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. obviously, all the hot leaf
- 39:12juice employees are continuing their advance
- 39:15and attack. They're each going to
- 39:18strike as best as they can, to try to
- 39:21hurt all of you, essentially. let's start
- 39:24with, the one under bill, who's gonna have to
- 39:27mark a fatigue in order to,
- 39:30get up at all. Okay.
- 39:33So the wonder to Bill, he sort of struggles and
- 39:36manages to roll out from under your foot. He takes a
- 39:38fatigue from the exhaustion of doing so. And then he
- 39:41hops up and he just takes a couple of like basic
- 39:44punch strikes at Bill. so
- 39:47you choose either to fatigue mark a condition or
- 39:50shift your balance weight from center.
- 39:52>> Speaker C: Me?
- 39:52>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 39:53>> Speaker C: I take a fatigue and turn the damage back with my
- 39:56retaliate.
- 39:56>> Speaker A: Okay, sounds good.
- 39:58>> Speaker C: All right.
- 39:59>> Speaker A: he goes to throw a second punch, but you, or
- 40:02he goes to throw a punch, and you retaliate, you
- 40:05dodge punch at him or strike at him,
- 40:07probably with your bo staff. and he goes down.
- 40:10>> Speaker C: Yeah, he jumps up and he
- 40:14turns to roll under my feet. And Bill just kind of
- 40:17sidesteps as he does this. And as he rises
- 40:20to punch from his knee, Bill just kind of like
- 40:23waxes bo staff on top of his head. He just hear like a
- 40:25coconut sound effect. And he goes straight back down.
- 40:28>> Speaker A: Nice. Oh, I get awesome. The one
- 40:31that was over in the corner who had the pillar thrown at him,
- 40:34he's back up. He turns, he sees Brock
- 40:37standing there by this open window sill and
- 40:40he turns to go take a swing at him. So, Brock,
- 40:42once again, do you have the choice? Take two, fatigue, market
- 40:45condition, or shift your. Now, again, just to reiterate with you guys,
- 40:48if you hit the end of your fatigue, it's not the end of the world. It's
- 40:51once you hit full fatigue and all your
- 40:54conditions are marked that you are out
- 40:57like dead. Well, no, it's, you're
- 41:00removed from the scene is the way they put it. So you're basically
- 41:02unconscious.
- 41:04>> Speaker C: I'm gonna be angry.
- 41:07Minus two to guide and comfort in assess situation.
- 41:10>> Speaker A: That fits rock pretty well.
- 41:11>> Speaker C: That really does. He
- 41:14he never assesses.
- 41:15>> Speaker A: All right. But because he is attending to commands, you
- 41:18do take one fatigue.
- 41:21>> Speaker C: And killing me here.
- 41:23>> Speaker A: Because he is a group, he gets an
- 41:26additional, attack. So he's going to do
- 41:28another strike against you. Ooh.
- 41:31So take a second of the options.
- 41:33Previously.
- 41:35>> Speaker C: All right, I guess I'll be. I'm
- 41:38not going to be afraid. You can't scare me.
- 41:40>> Speaker A: Brock doesn't scare easily.
- 41:41>> Speaker C: Fine. I'll be insecure.
- 41:44>> Speaker A: You're like, how is this guy punching me?
- 41:45>> Speaker C: So why'd he punch me twice? Usually we take
- 41:48turns. I punch, you punch. I punch, you
- 41:50punch.
- 41:51>> Speaker A: micah jumping over to you and the guy that you are taking
- 41:54on, it also is doing a
- 41:58strike.
- 41:59>> Speaker E: He's striking me.
- 42:00>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 42:01>> Speaker E: You can't hit a woman. It's a
- 42:04sloth.
- 42:05>> Speaker A: You look at the curvatures of this
- 42:07person's body and realize it's a woman. Oof.
- 42:11You've lost your defense.
- 42:15So she is
- 42:18striking you. So you get to.
- 42:20>> Speaker E: I'm not used to just stand there and take it.
- 42:22>> Speaker A: Okay, that's good. But you do have
- 42:25to mark either. Well, it would be, too
- 42:28fatigue. Mark a condition or shift your balance away
- 42:31from center. You, will take a fatigue either
- 42:33way.
- 42:35>> Speaker E: Well, I only have one fatigue to get.
- 42:37>> Speaker A: Okay. So you have to either
- 42:40mark a condition or shift your balance away from
- 42:43center.
- 42:43>> Speaker E: I'm going to
- 42:47mark a condition. Just one?
- 42:49>> Speaker A: Yep.
- 42:49>> Speaker E: I'm going to be angry because I am angry.
- 42:51>> Speaker A: That's fair. And then you take that fatigue as well.
- 42:54>> Speaker E: Yeah, I did.
- 42:54>> Speaker A: I. Perfect. And then she's gonna strike a second
- 42:57time.
- 42:58>> Speaker E: Are you frickin kidding?
- 42:59>> Speaker A: That's how it's supposed to work. This is the thing that I learned that I was
- 43:02doing wrong in the combat situations.
- 43:05Yeah. Was they get one plus,
- 43:08what they're supposed to or what they're shown as, which I'm like, why don't they just
- 43:11mark that? Why don't they just say, plus, whatever? But
- 43:13that's just how the game is apparently
- 43:16set up, so you have to choose another one of those options, as
- 43:19previously mentioned.
- 43:22>> Speaker E: So market condition, basically, or move
- 43:25my.
- 43:25>> Speaker A: Or move your. Yeah. Balance. Bo's doing fine.
- 43:28>> Speaker C: Aren't you, Ko?
- 43:29>> Speaker A: Yep.
- 43:31>> Speaker D: Doing just peachy.
- 43:34>> Speaker C: I'm angry and insecure. One guy left.
- 43:36>> Speaker A: Yeah. Cause there were. I'll move.
- 43:38>> Speaker C: Jeez.
- 43:40>> Speaker E: So I'm farthest away currently.
- 43:42>> Speaker A: You're at the edge.
- 43:43>> Speaker E: I missed.
- 43:45>> Speaker A: She might go off the edge. Awesome.
- 43:47Okay. And then finally, there's one left.
- 43:50it's going to approach Guo han. Are you.
- 43:52You're not defending him anymore. Right.
- 43:54>> Speaker C: I'm in front of him.
- 43:55>> Speaker A: I don't know.
- 43:56>> Speaker C: It's up to you. As the.
- 43:58>> Speaker A: I like to think that, he.
- 43:59>> Speaker C: Does draw of this mental map.
- 44:01>> Speaker A: You know what? So I'll, say he rushes up to
- 44:04Bill. Then since Bill is standing in front,
- 44:07and he's going to also, he's going to pressure
- 44:10you from advance and
- 44:12attacking.
- 44:13>> Speaker C: Okay.
- 44:14>> Speaker A: basically, he starts swinging at whoa. And you kind of step
- 44:17in front, and you're looking at two guys now,
- 44:20and they're swinging at, you know, you and Guo,
- 44:23and you're just focusing on keeping them from hitting Guo. I would
- 44:26assume, since you were kind of, you know, in that moment of protecting
- 44:29him. And then, in that moment, he's also
- 44:32striking. So, you choose to, do
- 44:34two fatigue, market condition or shift your balance.
- 44:37>> Speaker C: Would my retaliate carry over to this one, or did I use it on the
- 44:40other guy?
- 44:40>> Speaker A: Yeah, it says each time a foam clicks.
- 44:42>> Speaker C: Yeah, I do it again. Okay, sounds good.
- 44:45But since I don't have a fatigue.
- 44:47>> Speaker A: Oh, I guess that one guy's down. So technically it's just this guy. But whatever
- 44:50the case, same concept.
- 44:53>> Speaker C: I am out of fatigue, so I have to take a status.
- 44:55>> Speaker A: Okay, sounds good. But you do inflict a fatigue bat.
- 44:58>> Speaker C: Bill is insecure. Now, why are you gonna
- 45:01keep hitting me, man?
- 45:03>> Speaker A: I think, I would think that you're insecure about the idea of being
- 45:06able to protect glow.
- 45:07>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 45:07>> Speaker A: because these guys are starting to feel it. Yeah, you're starting to feel it. You're
- 45:10getting tired. You're like, I can't protect my friends
- 45:14like me.
- 45:16>> Speaker C: He stopped snapping.
- 45:19>> Speaker E: Did I do mine?
- 45:20>> Speaker A: Oh, yeah. What was your. Oh, sorry. Yeah. Are you doing evade
- 45:23and observe?
- 45:24>> Speaker E: Yeah.
- 45:24>> Speaker A: Okay. What are you doing one day? Are you proud of it?
- 45:26>> Speaker E: Well, I was going to,
- 45:29either bolster
- 45:32or hinder.
- 45:33>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 45:34>> Speaker E: Yeah, I think that's what I wanted to do.
- 45:36>> Speaker A: To clear one fatigue. Yeah. You get to clear one fatigue and
- 45:39then roll with either creativity or harmony.
- 45:41>> Speaker E: Creativity.
- 45:42>> Speaker A: So you use a moment to kind of take a step back
- 45:45and breathe, letting kind of the oxygen fill your lungs,
- 45:48feeling refreshed. So you get that fatigue back, you start to feel a little
- 45:51bit more focused, and refreshed for the
- 45:54battle 1010. All right. So you can
- 45:57actually take, if you wanted to, you can take two
- 45:59basic techniques, and if I
- 46:02remember correctly, and people
- 46:05might say things about it when they listen, but I
- 46:08believe you can, in fact, take the same
- 46:11move twice.
- 46:13>> Speaker E: Which means I can hinder.
- 46:14>> Speaker A: Hm.
- 46:14>> Speaker E: The guy I threw something at.
- 46:15>> Speaker C: Ah, sure.
- 46:17>> Speaker E: Okay.
- 46:18>> Speaker A: How are you doing that? Just for the
- 46:20purposes of, I'll take.
- 46:22>> Speaker E: An intimidating step forward
- 46:24towards, another
- 46:27thing in between me and him.
- 46:29>> Speaker A: Oh, okay. So you reach over like you're
- 46:32gonna grab another of the, pillars, and
- 46:35he kind of, like, flinches. So he's stunned. He's caught
- 46:38off guard. He's a little bit nervous about what you just
- 46:41did. he can't act or respond until he
- 46:44steadies himself, so that's what he will do
- 46:46on his next move. And then again, you can take a
- 46:49second action as well. From the evade and observe. It
- 46:52can be bolster and hinder. It can be something else. It's
- 46:55totally up to you. but don't forget that you also have the person that's
- 46:58actually in front of you attacking.
- 47:00>> Speaker E: Can I see what Brock's doing?
- 47:02>> Speaker A: Yeah, I would say.
- 47:03>> Speaker E: Well, then I would like to aid him, because that is also. There's still.
- 47:06My goal is mad me.
- 47:07>> Speaker A: Okay, sounds good. So, you see him over there?
- 47:10he's dealing. He's right next to the rope, but he's got this dude that's
- 47:13fighting him and attacking him. Brock, what were your conditions that you
- 47:16have right now?
- 47:16>> Speaker C: I am angry and insecure.
- 47:18>> Speaker A: Okay, so what are you. You shout something to
- 47:21him to help him clear. Angry or
- 47:23secure insecure? Which. What are you shouting
- 47:26to him? Nice pecks.
- 47:31Be the boulder, bro.
- 47:33>> Speaker E: The boulder is be the man
- 47:36I know you can be.
- 47:39>> Speaker A: That's such a wife thing to say,
- 47:42sister. Wife thing to say.
- 47:43>> Speaker C: I am so secure in myself.
- 47:46>> Speaker A: Brock, you suddenly feel that you can, in fact,
- 47:49be the man that you can be.
- 47:51>> Speaker E: You know, I'm implying that you should lie
- 47:54on your psycho tendencies.
- 47:56>> Speaker A: You know, what makes you think
- 48:00that.
- 48:00>> Speaker C: Brock is so scared? excited.
- 48:02>> Speaker E: He literally buried mad under
- 48:05the part.
- 48:06>> Speaker C: Of the three seasons of
- 48:09Broccoli's existence lead you to
- 48:12believe that he's psychopath. Was it burying
- 48:15a human alive?
- 48:15>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 48:16>> Speaker C: Was it punching another human through a wall and then blocking
- 48:19off another guy's escape?
- 48:21>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 48:22>> Speaker C: Wanting to kill soul rest day.
- 48:24>> Speaker A: Yeah.
- 48:26>> Speaker C: What was it? Souls day. Souls day.
- 48:28>> Speaker A: I think it was soul rest day.
- 48:29>> Speaker C: But I did like, I haven't killed anyone, but
- 48:31I know of.
- 48:32>> Speaker A: That's the key thing.
- 48:33>> Speaker E: Well, I'm just saying what happens to Madame
- 48:36Yang happens to Madame Yang.
- 48:39>> Speaker A: Be the man that you can be.
- 48:41>> Speaker C: Well, I got.
- 48:43>> Speaker A: She knows you.
- 48:44>> Speaker C: I've got options, though, for my next move.
- 48:46>> Speaker A: M. And Mika has dark thoughts, so what she
- 48:49knows you can be is a dark version of yourself.
- 48:52>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 48:52>> Speaker A: See that?
- 48:52>> Speaker C: So, like, I.
- 48:53>> Speaker E: It goes with my whole angry thing.
- 48:55>> Speaker C: It does.
- 48:56>> Speaker A: She's angry.
- 48:57>> Speaker E: I did breathe, but now I can just, like, be
- 49:00maybe a little bit clearly.
- 49:02>> Speaker C: I can just drop a giant boulder on her like Wile E.
- 49:04Coyote do it.
- 49:07>> Speaker A: Maybe I could do that.
- 49:08>> Speaker E: She'll probably just break it. No, she got
- 49:11out of the earth somehow.
- 49:12>> Speaker C: She wouldn't. We still haven't addressed.
- 49:14>> Speaker E: Anyway. Moving on.
- 49:16>> Speaker A: I was gonna say moving on. yeah, so we're moving into
- 49:19the third section of combat exchange. the
- 49:21guys in front of you look like crap. They look like
- 49:24they've gotten real beat to heck. Whatever the case, everybody
- 49:27decide what combat approach you're taking this round.
- 49:30And within that is anyone taking defend and
- 49:33maneuver.
- 49:34>> Speaker C: I will maneuver. And I will maneuver, not
- 49:36defend. Okay, so I will
- 49:39maneuver and all.
- 49:40>> Speaker A: Part of it all. But nevertheless, okay, you sound real
- 49:43eager.
- 49:44>> Speaker C: Brock, let me let.
- 49:46>> Speaker A: Oh, you want Bill to go first? Okay, Bill, what are you
- 49:48doing?
- 49:49>> Speaker C: Nine.
- 49:49>> Speaker A: Nine. Okay, so you can do, one basic or one
- 49:52mastered. Which would you prefer?
- 49:55>> Speaker C: Retaliate.
- 49:56>> Speaker A: Retaliate. Okay, sounds good. You're still blocking guo.
- 49:59You're making sure that glow doesn't take a single poke.
- 50:02>> Speaker C: There's one thing Bill's good at. Defending people.
- 50:04>> Speaker A: That is true. That is true.
- 50:05>> Speaker C: That's like, you haven't learned that now, Bill,
- 50:08defense.
- 50:09>> Speaker A: Brock's unhinged and you've taken out
- 50:12one guy so far. Yeah, Bob, take out a second
- 50:15fully down.
- 50:16>> Speaker C: I have not a Brock. I will be seizing a position.
- 50:19>> Speaker A: Okay, what is this?
- 50:19>> Speaker C: We're gonna ring a ding ding the old rock
- 50:22elevator. And I'm going down
- 50:25about 100ft to Madame Yang
- 50:28and. Cause she's like on the
- 50:31cliff. Right, right.
- 50:32>> Speaker A: So my plan, I mean, she's actively moving down.
- 50:35Yeah.
- 50:35>> Speaker C: Okay, so I'll go down. My plan is to have Brock
- 50:39elevator. So we're essentially going to jump and
- 50:41just tear through on
- 50:44this little rock elevator down. And he's going to
- 50:47meet, he's.
- 50:48>> Speaker A: Turning himself into a brock slide, if you
- 50:51will.
- 50:53>> Speaker C: So he's going to go down and meet Madame Yang where
- 50:56she's at on the rope. Okay,
- 50:59I'm going to pop out like, what's
- 51:02it like an attack on Titan when the guy just jumps out of the
- 51:04wall?
- 51:05>> Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. okay. Give yourself an
- 51:08appropriately appropriate,
- 51:11status effect. I'm guessing either prepared or
- 51:13empowered.
- 51:14>> Speaker C: Well, I did get pretty inspired, I could say.
- 51:17>> Speaker A: I suppose you could say that I was inspired.
- 51:20>> Speaker C: Yeah, I'll go empowered.
- 51:21>> Speaker A: Wait.
- 51:22>> Speaker C: Yeah, empowered. So I clear one fatigue at the end
- 51:25of each.
- 51:25>> Speaker A: The. Each exchange.
- 51:26>> Speaker C: That's at the round. At the end of the round. Okay. And I rolled a
- 51:29ten on that.
- 51:31>> Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So you can take an additional, basic move
- 51:34there from the maneuver.
- 51:36>> Speaker C: Wait, just go down twice.
- 51:38>> Speaker A: Continue to seize a position.
- 51:40>> Speaker C: I mean, I'm already where I need to be. Like, I
- 51:42can. I guess I can use the additional move to pop
- 51:45out and be, like, under Madame Gang.
- 51:48>> Speaker A: Here's what you could do. You could ready
- 51:50yourself, given that you're moving downwards,
- 51:54to try to meet up with Madame Yang. you
- 51:56could ready yourself and inflict a
- 51:59status effect on her.
- 52:02>> Speaker C: I think she would be stunned
- 52:05because she probably wouldn't
- 52:08imagine someone's gonna pop out of
- 52:11the wall.
- 52:12>> Speaker A: Oh, hey, I just realized something. You seized a position first,
- 52:14right?
- 52:15>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 52:15>> Speaker B: Oh, sorry.
- 52:16>> Speaker A: Okay. Okay. So you establish an advantageous
- 52:19position. That's you using season,
- 52:21then. Sorry, I was misreading the.
- 52:24The, You get it. What was it that you took? Empowered.
- 52:27>> Speaker C: Yeah.
- 52:27>> Speaker A: Okay, so you get empowered through being ready. Okay, sorry.
- 52:30That's my bad. But, yeah, basically that that encompasses everything.
- 52:33So you start shooting down, you ready yourself
- 52:36to pop out and hopefully stop Madam Yang.
- 52:39>> Speaker C: Well, would she be stuck? Because she can also feel
- 52:42trapped, because she's literally stuck between a brock
- 52:45and a hard place.
- 52:49>> Speaker A: Okay, so it's up to you. It's up to you. Do you want to feel empowered or
- 52:52do you want to make her trapped?
- 52:55>> Speaker C: Me, empowered, or her trapped.
- 52:58So my abilities will be naturally stronger and I clear fatigue at the end
- 53:01of the exchange. Or she feels completely helpless.
- 53:04Must mark a combination of three conditions or
- 53:07three fatigue to a escape.
- 53:08>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 53:11>> Speaker C: So she would. So then she would.
- 53:14So if she's trapped, then she would also feel,
- 53:17like, angry, afraid, guilty, insecure. One of
- 53:20those. Like, three of those.
- 53:21>> Speaker A: Right. Or three fatigue. Yep.
- 53:24>> Speaker E: She'll probably go three fatigue.
- 53:26>> Speaker C: So I can either mark three fatigue on her. I'm gonna mark three
- 53:29fatigue on her. She feels.
- 53:31>> Speaker A: She. I think she decides. Yeah.
- 53:33>> Speaker C: Oh, she agree. Yeah. But she's taking
- 53:36three effects.
- 53:37>> Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
- 53:38>> Speaker C: So negatives, three. I will trap Madame Yang.
- 53:41She feels trapped. She's like, oh, this strapping young man who
- 53:44buried me alive.
- 53:45>> Speaker A: She's coming.
- 53:45>> Speaker E: I'm dangling on a rope.
- 53:47>> Speaker A: I was gonna say she's coming down the mountain. She's holding
- 53:50on to a rope as she slides down, and
- 53:53she's got an airbender that's chasing after. And then
- 53:56she starts to feel this rumble underneath the
- 53:58mountain. Something seems to be headed her
- 54:01way. She can feel it in the rocks as
- 54:04she's going down on.
- 54:07Going down this road. Awesome. Fantastic.
- 54:10We will jump back to that here shortly. Fantastic. we
- 54:13will move on to advance and attack. Yes.
- 54:15>> Speaker E: Yes.
- 54:16>> Speaker A: Okay. What are you doing?
- 54:17>> Speaker E: I'm, striking a person who's striking me.
- 54:19>> Speaker A: Okay, sounds good. Roll a passion. Roll with
- 54:22passion.
- 54:26>> Speaker E: I got a seven.
- 54:28>> Speaker A: A seven. Okay, you can take a basic move, then. All right, so you're
- 54:31striking. What are you doing to strike out at this person?
- 54:34>> Speaker E: I'm a kicker.
- 54:35>> Speaker A: Okay, sounds good. Just in the jaw. You got
- 54:38water, Brandon. So you kick up. She's pretty much out
- 54:41at this point anyway. She's taking a whole bunch of hit as it is.
- 54:44>> Speaker C: You.
- 54:45>> Speaker E: We're in a cave, Brock.
- 54:47>> Speaker A: You kick your foot around and slam it into her
- 54:50face, and she falls down. She is out. She is
- 54:52done. Nice. Awesome. So that's
- 54:55good. Oh, actually. So, whoa, you're not doing advance
- 54:58on attack, right?
- 54:59>> Speaker D: I am doing.
- 55:00>> Speaker A: Oh, you are doing it. Yeah. Oh, yeah. That's right. Because you were, you were all
- 55:03prepared. You pinpointed. Okay, so who are you,
- 55:05attacking, then?
- 55:07>> Speaker C: So there's two guys left, right?
- 55:08>> Speaker A: Yes.
- 55:09>> Speaker D: Where are they at?
- 55:10>> Speaker A: one is in the back of the room, kind of where? Nearby
- 55:13where Brock just kind of dove under, and the other one's pretty not too far
- 55:16from you, and, well, actually fighting with.
- 55:20>> Speaker D: 1010.
- 55:21>> Speaker A: All right, so you actually can do two,
- 55:24both of which could be strike if you wanted to.
- 55:27>> Speaker D: So I am gonna do strike, and with my
- 55:30pinpoint aim, it says, I do not have to mark
- 55:33fatigue to choose what you inflict.
- 55:35>> Speaker A: Ah. okay. Okay.
- 55:36>> Speaker D: I'll do the guy over by
- 55:39Brock.
- 55:39>> Speaker A: Okay.
- 55:40>> Speaker D: What is he doing over there?
- 55:41>> Speaker A: he was punching on Brock, but then all of a sudden, Brock
- 55:44kind of dove under the floor. So this actually is kind of
- 55:47funny, because as soon as he dives under the floor, the guy's just kind of
- 55:50standing there. And then he looks up, and there's guo,
- 55:53like, ready to flick a pebble at him.
- 55:58And with pinpoint accuracy, you fire. This
- 56:01pebble over, strikes him dead in the
- 56:03forehead like a David and Goliath situation.
- 56:06And the man topples down.
- 56:09Nice. And then you have one more advance and
- 56:11attack.
- 56:12>> Speaker D: I'll, aim up on the guy by bill and
- 56:15do the same thing.
- 56:16>> Speaker A: All right, perfect. you turn to this other
- 56:19individual, and you pull another pebble,
- 56:21maybe bend the pebble out of your bag,
- 56:25fire. That one goes flying over, hits them. I'm gonna
- 56:28say in the shoulder, maybe something like that. knocks them
- 56:30back. They are, the last one there they're
- 56:33incredibly, exhausted, and they are
- 56:36afraid. He falls to the ground. he pulls
- 56:39his own mask off, and he starts
- 56:42to kind of back away from you all. And he says,
- 56:44where am I?
- 56:46>> Speaker B: What's happening here?
- 56:47>> Speaker A: Who are you people? And with that,
- 56:50you guys have essentially pulled yourself out of combat because this
- 56:53guy's no longer engaged with you. I'm going to cut over
- 56:56to, Brock. So,
- 56:59Brock, as you are tunneling
- 57:02under the ground, you suddenly burst
- 57:05forth from the mountain, nearly hitting Madame
- 57:07Yang. She is going to be marking
- 57:10three fatigue in response to
- 57:12this. Yes. As she
- 57:15lets go of the rope and sort of kicks
- 57:18off of the mountain, falling dead air
- 57:21straight towards the ground. But at the
- 57:24very last second, you see out of her
- 57:27hands and feet small flames as
- 57:30she slows her descent.
- 57:32>> Speaker C: This still doesn't explain how she escaped.
- 57:34>> Speaker A: Out of the ground. I'm just gonna
- 57:37say, is she the avatar to give you
- 57:40closure?
- 57:41>> Speaker C: Yes.
- 57:42>> Speaker A: That she has assistants
- 57:45that are earth and employees that are earth. Been.
- 57:47>> Speaker E: But how did they know?
- 57:49>> Speaker A: Well, she probably
- 57:51in the area.
- 57:53>> Speaker C: No, the two lackeys were
- 57:55lured away.
- 57:56>> Speaker A: Right, right.
- 57:57>> Speaker C: And she was alone. So I like, that's why she
- 58:00buried her alive.
- 58:01>> Speaker A: They obviously got out and then they helped her.
- 58:04Or maybe somebody at the party. I don't know.
- 58:06>> Speaker C: Hey, maybe there was a person next to.
- 58:09>> Speaker A: Yeah, Minecraft die like some people.
- 58:12>> Speaker C: Well, speaking of Minecraft,
- 58:15let's. All right, so what is my position as of right
- 58:18now?
- 58:19>> Speaker A: I guess flying through the air.
- 58:22>> Speaker C: Okay. All right. Am I good to keep advancing and
- 58:24attacking?
- 58:25>> Speaker A: sure.
- 58:26>> Speaker C: Okay, but we're out of combat. You guys are
- 58:29all right. So Brock.
- 58:32>> Speaker A: Brock is plummeting to the ground.
- 58:33>> Speaker C: He's actually plummeting to the ground.
- 58:34>> Speaker A: Yeah. As Brock is plummeting towards the ground
- 58:37where Madam Yang is hopping into this hot,
- 58:40leaf juice cart.
- 58:42>> Speaker C: Don't you dare tell me the guru comes and gets me
- 58:44and Guru Tupiq.
- 58:46>> Speaker A: Is sort of flying alongside of you at this point
- 58:49on his air glider as you guys are plowing towards,
- 58:52Madame Yang.
- 58:53>> Speaker C: Yup.
- 58:54>> Speaker A: We're gonna close out.
- 58:55>> Speaker C: No, I am going.
- 58:58I'm gonna tell you the plan anyways. I'm pulling a piece of the
- 59:01mountain out and
- 59:04just hugging it at Madame Yang.
- 59:07There is no shot. She deflects
- 59:10that.
- 59:10>> Speaker B: She can't.
- 59:11>> Speaker C: She can't.
