- 0:21Speaker 1: He crushed.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Tate Frasier is with us. He went to North Carolina,
- 0:25Speaker 2: they lost to Oklahoma and the College World Series last night,
- 0:28Speaker 2: Game three. The best two words in sports, and he's
- 0:31Speaker 2: hearing it from Sooner fans today. What are you hearing
- 0:33Speaker 2: from Oklahoma Sooner fans today on social media tape?
- 0:38Speaker 1: A lot of suck it, you know what I mean?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Like, I had no idea that this is kind of
- 0:42Speaker 3: the ethos of the Oklahoma fans. Congratulations to the Sooners.
- 0:46Speaker 3: You know, it was a tough fault series. I've never
- 0:47Speaker 3: seen bats get that hot in my life. I've never
- 0:49Speaker 3: seen exit velocity of one hundred and ten miles an
- 0:52Speaker 3: hour off every single bat. I don't know, maybe worth
- 0:55Speaker 3: looking into, and you know, ridiculous times. But congratulations of
- 1:00Speaker 3: the Sooners. The tar Hills will be back eventually.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Stu guts the Ringer tailgate check him out right there.
- 1:04Speaker 2: The NBA Draft is tonight. What'd you think of what
- 1:07Speaker 2: the Heat did by acquiring Yannis. We woke up to
- 1:10Speaker 2: that news and everyone down here at South Florida is
- 1:12Speaker 2: very excited. Me and Taylor sitting back as Nick fans
- 1:16Speaker 2: enjoying something we've never enjoyed before. Watching other teams play
- 1:19Speaker 2: catch up to the New York Knicks.
- 1:21Speaker 1: What do you think.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Yeah, really smart move by Jannis to get the Celtics
- 1:25Speaker 3: to basically sever ties with Jalen Brown before he decided
- 1:29Speaker 3: to go to Miami. I thought that was pretty genius,
- 1:31Speaker 3: you know, like, get some infighting happening with the Boston Celtics,
- 1:34Speaker 3: and yeah, this has been what eighteen months twenty months
- 1:37Speaker 3: of a saga that it felt like it never was
- 1:39Speaker 3: gonna end. Every single time that Shams went on TV,
- 1:42Speaker 3: He's like, Giannis is gonna get traded in the next
- 1:43Speaker 3: two weeks. I felt like Gianni's kept slow playing it
- 1:46Speaker 3: because of that, and then eventually it was gonna happen.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I think it's a win for Miami.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I think it'll be tough to build out a team
- 1:52Speaker 3: for next year, but I think, you know, twenty twenty seven,
- 1:55Speaker 3: that'll be the year that they figure it out. Norm Powell,
- 1:57Speaker 3: will we take less money to come back?
- 1:58Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 1:59Speaker 3: But right now it's kind of a barren situation there
- 2:02Speaker 3: in Miami.
- 2:02Speaker 1: But you got Bam, you got Giannis.
- 2:04Speaker 3: That's exciting and I know pat Riley's got to be
- 2:06Speaker 3: really happy about this.
- 2:07Speaker 4: I forget about Pela Larson enough of you, that's right, Tate.
- 2:13Speaker 4: If going into the draft tonight, it seems obvious de Bonsa, Peterson, Boozer,
- 2:18Speaker 4: Wilson top four. Is there anything that could change that?
- 2:22Speaker 4: Would you say?
- 2:23Speaker 3: It did feel like there was kind of a storm
- 2:25Speaker 3: happening where, you know, Carlos Boozer being involved with the
- 2:28Speaker 3: Utah Jazz. There was all this conversation about the ages
- 2:31Speaker 3: they kind of had Cam Boozer rated higher than most
- 2:34Speaker 3: people suspected. But then we got the not so secret
- 2:37Speaker 3: secret workout with Darren Peterson the other day where everyone's like, hell,
- 2:40Speaker 3: they had a secret workout and they loved Darren with
- 2:43Speaker 3: what he's got going on. So I've never I always
- 2:46Speaker 3: laugh at all these things. It's like it's always secret
- 2:48Speaker 3: until everybody knows about it. But it does feel like
- 2:50Speaker 3: it's gonna be chalk, It's gonna be aj Darren Boozer,
- 2:53Speaker 3: Kayla Wilson. So not much fanfair, not much fun, but
- 2:56Speaker 3: it makes sense.
- 2:57Speaker 2: At the end of the day, which team do you
- 2:59Speaker 2: think has enough assets to move up? Maybe it's Milwaukee
- 3:02Speaker 2: after the trade to move up to get themselves into
- 3:04Speaker 2: the top five.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say Brooklyn maybe is trying to call
- 3:09Speaker 3: around to move up. Maybe Brooklyn has some interest in
- 3:11Speaker 3: someone in the top four or top five, potentially Milwaukee,
- 3:15Speaker 3: like you said, with ten and thirteen, maybe they could
- 3:17Speaker 3: packageat with one of those guys and hero to get
- 3:20Speaker 3: up there in the top four. But I don't really
- 3:22Speaker 3: see anyone making a move of that kind of sort.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Maybe it's a seven to five if they're worried about
- 3:28Speaker 3: a cuff going number five. The Kings love Acuff, so
- 3:30Speaker 3: maybe they could do that. But what do the Kings
- 3:31Speaker 3: have to really offer you to get.
- 3:33Speaker 1: To number five if you're the Clippers?
- 3:34Speaker 3: So I think everybody kind of stands back for the
- 3:36Speaker 3: most part. Maybe some teams tried to trade down, maybe
- 3:38Speaker 3: Charlotte tries to trade up, But for the most part,
- 3:41Speaker 3: I think it's going to be settled.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What about and hear me out on this one.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Okay, the Oklahoma City Thunder decided to go new wage
- 3:48Speaker 4: splash brothers move up to five and get a cuff
- 3:52Speaker 4: team in with shape.
- 3:53Speaker 3: They could do it, Yeah, they could do it. I
- 3:55Speaker 3: mean I think that they were in love with Camboozer.
- 3:58Speaker 3: That seemed to be like kind of the prevailing narrative.
- 4:00Speaker 3: But I don't think they can get that high to
- 4:01Speaker 3: get him without giving up some more of you know,
- 4:04Speaker 3: their many assets that everybody talks about. We love the
- 4:06Speaker 3: assets they Okay See has right, But yeah, Acuff is
- 4:10Speaker 3: fascinating because it does feel like for some people he's
- 4:13Speaker 3: number five a sure thing.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Some people even have a number four.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I know Billis has him number four on his board
- 4:17Speaker 3: and as Caleb at number five. But you talk to
- 4:19Speaker 3: some of these other people, like the Clippers out here, MIKEL.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Brown and Wagner seem to be the guys that they're
- 4:24Speaker 3: in love with and not so much Acuff. So a
- 4:26Speaker 3: lot of different boards out there. It's funny, like I've
- 4:28Speaker 3: seen some boards that have Boozer one and Caleb Wilson
- 4:30Speaker 3: number two, and then Peterson three.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And Aj at four. Then aj is gonna be the
- 4:34Speaker 1: number one pick.
- 4:34Speaker 3: So a lot of different sort of perspectives on all
- 4:37Speaker 3: these guys. But I love Acuff. I think he's kind
- 4:40Speaker 3: of like a Marbury. I saw someone call him the
- 4:42Speaker 3: Midwest Marbury the other day. I think, I think that's
- 4:44Speaker 3: a pretty good conform But are you going to really
- 4:46Speaker 3: put Marbury next to a contending team, you know with Okay,
- 4:49Speaker 3: see I'm not quite.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Sure what the Midwest marbor Midwest? What's Midwest about him?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Detroit? I know, yeah, Detroit kid. Yeah, go ahead, Mike.
- 5:01Speaker 5: If you're a Bucks fan and you wake up tonight,
- 5:04Speaker 5: I'm sorry I lost Johnny.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I agree. What's kind of the best case scenario for
- 5:09Speaker 1: them tonight? With ten and thirteen? What can they do
- 5:12Speaker 1: tonight to make.
- 5:12Speaker 5: A big All?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Right? At least we got that.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like, as far as spitting a narrative,
- 5:17Speaker 3: maybe you try to steal this whole Villanova thunder and
- 5:19Speaker 3: you're just like, we won't championship DNA, and you take
- 5:21Speaker 3: two Michigan guys off Dusty May's team, you know, you
- 5:24Speaker 3: take like a Yaxel Linde borg and Mors Johnson at
- 5:27Speaker 3: ten and thirteen, and then you're like, we're just trying
- 5:29Speaker 3: to build championship qualities and championship players, and we got
- 5:33Speaker 3: these guys who have played together and like each other.
- 5:34Speaker 3: We're gonna bring them in to Milwaukee. But it does
- 5:38Speaker 3: feel like they're gonna take some upside swings. Maybe Nata
- 5:40Speaker 3: Mint seems to be a prevailing narrative at number ten,
- 5:42Speaker 3: even though all the Bucks people in my life are
- 5:44Speaker 3: just so upset that they're like, I'm done with the NBA.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Just get out of my face. I'll get back to
- 5:48Speaker 3: the Packers. So it's a tough time. I feel for him.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Ted, You're a UNC guy. Taylor's a UNC guy. I'm
- 5:56Speaker 4: a Caleb Wilson guy, and I've been a big fan
- 5:58Speaker 4: of it since he started at UNE at the beginning
- 6:00Speaker 4: of the season. I have seen some clips about maybe
- 6:03Speaker 4: uninterested in defense at times. I feel like you can
- 6:06Speaker 4: coach that out of somebody at a young age. I'm
- 6:08Speaker 4: wondering what you think his upside is how, because I mean,
- 6:12Speaker 4: I love him. I think he only needs two dribbles
- 6:14Speaker 4: in any half court situation. It can get any shot
- 6:16Speaker 4: he wants, and that's huge in the NBA. So just curious,
- 6:18Speaker 4: how far do you think his upside is.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Caleb personally told me to stop comparing him to
- 6:24Speaker 3: Hall of Fame players, So I'm going to do that
- 6:26Speaker 3: out of respect to him. He was like, I'm tired
- 6:28Speaker 3: of everyone calling me KG and Sean Kemp and all
- 6:31Speaker 3: these different guys. I think that's a very good perspective
- 6:34Speaker 3: to have on it. I think the best thing for
- 6:35Speaker 3: Caleb is to have a chip on his shoulder. And
- 6:37Speaker 3: if you see Aj kind of talk about this class,
- 6:40Speaker 3: he always talks about the top three and purposely kind
- 6:42Speaker 3: of leaves out, you know, Caleb Wilson. And I think
- 6:44Speaker 3: that the more that those three guys kind of try
- 6:47Speaker 3: to separate themselves from Caleb, the better for Caleb. And
- 6:50Speaker 3: he likes to play with that chip on his shoulder.
- 6:52Speaker 3: He has a little bit of that DNA where like
- 6:54Speaker 3: he's better. And at McDonald's game last year, like everybody
- 6:57Speaker 3: was trying to figure out who the fourth guy was,
- 6:58Speaker 3: or was it Mikel Brown, was it Native Men? And
- 7:00Speaker 3: Caleb Wilson was never in that conversation. He played all
- 7:03Speaker 3: three of those guys and busted their ass this year
- 7:05Speaker 3: and looked like the better player.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And it's funny that it's not really talked about as much.
- 7:08Speaker 3: And I think if he played at you know, let's
- 7:10Speaker 3: just say a Duke, if he did it at Duke,
- 7:12Speaker 3: it would be like, he's the number one pick, we
- 7:14Speaker 3: got to take this guy. Look what he did against
- 7:15Speaker 3: the other top three players. So I think he's in
- 7:17Speaker 3: a really good spot. I think he's got the right
- 7:19Speaker 3: mindset for it. And the only concern I have is Chicago.
- 7:22Speaker 3: You know, Ryan Storf has ruined plenty of talents throughout
- 7:24Speaker 3: the years. I do concern myself a little bit with that,
- 7:27Speaker 3: but I think he can superseded. He'll buy into Chicago
- 7:30Speaker 3: and it's a perfect runway in a big market to
- 7:32Speaker 3: become a superstar.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So I'm all the way in.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I think if he played in the NCAA tournament, we'd
- 7:37Speaker 3: have a different conversation right now. And I'm excited to
- 7:40Speaker 3: see what he looks like in Kevin Garnett got it.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You mentioned.
- 7:54Speaker 2: You mentioned Dusty May before. Were you surprised he left
- 7:57Speaker 2: Michigan to go to the Mavericks.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm not surprised.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I just was surprised at the timing because you know,
- 8:03Speaker 3: North Carolina was looking for a head coach this year.
- 8:05Speaker 1: They had some conversations with Dusty May.
- 8:07Speaker 3: There was a lot of kind of back channeling that
- 8:09Speaker 3: was happening that they were you know, they liked Dan Arbor,
- 8:11Speaker 3: but they were totally fine to maybe go to a Kansas,
- 8:14Speaker 3: maybe go to a North Carolina. After situation was right
- 8:17Speaker 3: and Dusty May seeming Lee was ready and willing to
- 8:20Speaker 3: make a move if the numbers made sense.
- 8:21Speaker 1: And then he decided to stay.
- 8:23Speaker 3: He didn't sign the extension with Michigan, which was very
- 8:25Speaker 3: strange at the time.
- 8:26Speaker 1: After winning the National Championship game, he.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Did the classic like this is what Dan Hurley did
- 8:30Speaker 3: the past couple of years. It's like, as soon as
- 8:31Speaker 3: you win, you complain about how much you know. It's like,
- 8:33Speaker 3: I don't even get to enjoy my championship. I'm on
- 8:36Speaker 3: the phone with these idiots in the transfer portal immediately.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So it was a weird conversation.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And then when I heard Dallas was reaching out to
- 8:43Speaker 3: Shire and Dusty May, I thought it was more of
- 8:46Speaker 3: a Hey, we're trying to do something different here, but
- 8:48Speaker 3: we're gonna end up with Terry Stotts and then we're
- 8:49Speaker 3: gonna at least get the credit of trying to do
- 8:51Speaker 3: something different. But Dusty got the phone called Dusty believed
- 8:54Speaker 3: in Cooper Flag and I think it's going to be
- 8:56Speaker 3: a fun fit. He's one of those basketball guys that
- 8:58Speaker 3: kind of transcends. And I know a lot of people
- 9:00Speaker 3: are like, is he Caliperry, Is he a Betino? I
- 9:02Speaker 3: think he's more like a Brad Stevens or even like
- 9:06Speaker 3: you know, Larry Brown was the last guy to leave
- 9:07Speaker 3: college after a championship, he had the NCAA coming to town,
- 9:10Speaker 3: you know, kind of like Harball did.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So there's a reason why he left. But I think
- 9:14Speaker 1: Dusty's gonna succeed.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I think he's gonna do a really good job and
- 9:16Speaker 3: he might end up in like a front office type
- 9:18Speaker 3: role eventually, but I think for coaching for now, he'll
- 9:20Speaker 3: do really well with Cooper Flagg in that team.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Tit if you were the Mavericks and you were picking
- 9:25Speaker 5: at nine, who would you pair with Cooper Flag?
- 9:29Speaker 3: I would take one of those guards depending on who
- 9:31Speaker 3: was there. Kingston Flemings, Brayden Burry's someone like that, I
- 9:34Speaker 3: think makes a lot of sense. But I think with
- 9:36Speaker 3: Dusty there, you're talking about a die Mara could be
- 9:39Speaker 3: In the conversation, I know, Jackson Lindeborg said that if
- 9:42Speaker 3: he doesn't get picked number nine, he's going to block
- 9:44Speaker 3: Dusty May, which is a very funny wrinkle. It kind
- 9:48Speaker 3: of reminds me of when Pete Carroll went to the
- 9:50Speaker 3: Seahawks and like Taylor Mays and Earl Thomas were in
- 9:52Speaker 3: that draft, and then you know, Taylor Mays is like, oh,
- 9:55Speaker 3: I'm a lock, you know, I'm definitely going to Seattle.
- 9:57Speaker 3: My coach is going to take me, and then he's like,
- 9:58Speaker 3: I'll take Earl Thomas to be my safety of the future.
- 10:02Speaker 3: So I could see that happening again, where like some
- 10:04Speaker 3: of those Michigan guys are a little bit, you know,
- 10:06Speaker 3: upset about that. But yeah, Burries to me would be
- 10:08Speaker 3: my pick there at number nine.
- 10:09Speaker 2: All right, Tay Taylor, and this is great as a
- 10:11Speaker 2: Nick fan, both of us. We get to sit back,
- 10:13Speaker 2: we're watching what other teams do because they're trying to
- 10:16Speaker 2: catch up with the world champion New York Knicks.
- 10:18Speaker 1: This is fantastic.
- 10:19Speaker 2: But Taylor has a big board of people he wants
- 10:21Speaker 2: the Knicks to draft at twenty four and thirty one.
- 10:25Speaker 1: So Taylor, taken.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Away, the fact that you have a big board twenty
- 10:29Speaker 2: four to thirty one is outstanding.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Take it away, run it by Tate here. So Tate,
- 10:33Speaker 5: I have four names on this big board. One has
- 10:36Speaker 5: an asterisk next to it, and I'll explain the asterisk.
- 10:38Speaker 5: And then I wanted I'm gonna.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Give you the name always a good start.
- 10:44Speaker 5: I'm gonna give you the names and say who you
- 10:45Speaker 5: would pick up twenty four if all of them were available,
- 10:48Speaker 5: Terras Reed Junior from Yukon, Isaiah Evans from Duke CoA
- 10:53Speaker 5: Pete from Arizona, and then my fourth name is Zubi
- 10:56Speaker 5: Edge four. But I think I only want Zubi Edge
- 10:59Speaker 5: of four because he played at Saint John's and he
- 11:01Speaker 5: has experience at Madison Square. G.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I love that. Yeah, it'd be a great name too.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I of those four, I mean, honestly, like
- 11:09Speaker 3: Terris Reid would probably be my pick. But I think
- 11:11Speaker 3: Zoobie you could get at thirty one. I really do
- 11:14Speaker 3: think that. And if I were the Knicks, I would
- 11:16Speaker 3: just take two centers, like I would take like Zuobi
- 11:18Speaker 3: Edge of four and Henry Vassar and you know, kind
- 11:20Speaker 3: of get a finesse big, get a physical, switchable big
- 11:23Speaker 3: and Zubi Edge of four, a guy who loves New
- 11:25Speaker 3: York City. It was gonna be a dog mentality for you.
- 11:27Speaker 3: You're probably gonna lose Mitchell Robinson. I would assume in
- 11:29Speaker 3: free agency, we'll see what happens with that. He feels
- 11:31Speaker 3: like a guy that's bound to go south, just based
- 11:34Speaker 3: on his personality and how he kind of lives his life.
- 11:37Speaker 1: But yeah, I think taking.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Two centers, taking a swing there, getting some you know,
- 11:40Speaker 3: protection behind Karl Anthony Towns is the right move. So yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 3: Zoobie Vassar, Zoobie, Terris Reid. I think that would be
- 11:47Speaker 3: my combo.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Tay, this has a chance to be what kind of draft,
- 11:50Speaker 2: like an all time special draft class? Does it have
- 11:52Speaker 2: a chance.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I think it has a chance.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I was actually going back, like, you know, trying to
- 11:57Speaker 3: figure out how many all stars are in each draft,
- 11:59Speaker 3: and like the most you can get is around four
- 12:01Speaker 3: All Stars in a draft that's pretty much like best
- 12:04Speaker 3: case scenario. The average is around two all stars. So
- 12:06Speaker 3: if I were going to try to you know, cap
- 12:08Speaker 3: this draft, I think we're looking at like three to
- 12:10Speaker 3: four All stars in this draft, and I think that's
- 12:12Speaker 3: a really good draft. I think the depth got it
- 12:14Speaker 3: a little bit, you know, kind of usurped by college
- 12:16Speaker 3: basketball this year. A lot of guys decided to go
- 12:18Speaker 3: back that would have helped with the depth of this class.
- 12:21Speaker 3: So yeah, give me three or four all stars. I
- 12:23Speaker 3: think there's a world in which Cooper Flag Dylan Harper
- 12:25Speaker 3: that you know, VJ. Edgecum that class might end up
- 12:28Speaker 3: being better than this draft. Even though this draft has
- 12:30Speaker 3: been kind of lauded by everybody, but yeah, I love
- 12:33Speaker 3: that top four, even though I have a little bit
- 12:35Speaker 3: of concern about AJ. I tought I called him the
- 12:38Speaker 3: six ten RJ. Barrett and people got mad at me.
- 12:40Speaker 3: So yeah, that's my only concern about him at number one.
- 12:44Speaker 2: That's an insult. They should get mad at you.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Hey, RJ is a good player. It could be.
- 12:50Speaker 5: A name that I had on my big board that
- 12:52Speaker 5: I've crossed off, but I'm considering adding him back to
- 12:55Speaker 5: my big.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Big board, just to be quick.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Four.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Yeah, Huka Akory from Stanford. He's six five. We watched
- 13:04Speaker 5: him a ton just how how he was such a
- 13:07Speaker 5: great scorer in the ACC. But are you a little
- 13:10Speaker 5: concerned with how his size is going to translate to
- 13:12Speaker 5: the NBA.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I'm concerned that his shots are fifty percent at the rim,
- 13:17Speaker 3: and I wonder.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I think it's a good thing that he gets downhill,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but I.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Wonder in the NBA does he is he able to
- 13:21Speaker 3: kind of get to the rim and finish at a
- 13:24Speaker 3: high level. I know that Jalen Brunson, your guy, has
- 13:26Speaker 3: been able to kind of figure out that mid range
- 13:28Speaker 3: sort of like space with the floaters as far as
- 13:31Speaker 3: like getting to the rim, and I think Abucah, Cory
- 13:33Speaker 3: might have to figure out some sort of shot like
- 13:35Speaker 3: that with his size. The three point shot was great
- 13:37Speaker 3: in high school, not so much at Stanford. He was
- 13:40Speaker 3: kind of hot and cold, so maybe that develops a
- 13:42Speaker 3: little bit as well.
- 13:42Speaker 1: But I think.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Abukah A Corey is gonna end up being one of
- 13:45Speaker 3: those guys that goes like eighteen to twenty four range,
- 13:48Speaker 3: you know what I mean. So he could be there
- 13:49Speaker 3: right at twenty four for the Knicks, but I think
- 13:51Speaker 3: they keep it big, stay in the front court. Just
- 13:53Speaker 3: fill out the front court as best you can there.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Tay just to be one hundred percent. You think that
- 13:58Speaker 4: because of the Trey Young re signing, Washing is definitely
- 14:00Speaker 4: going AJ. Or do you think there's any chance that
- 14:02Speaker 4: Darren Peterson sneaks in there?
- 14:04Speaker 1: I think it's definitely AJ at this point.
- 14:06Speaker 3: What's funny was like I heard from Washington that they
- 14:08Speaker 3: had their guy however many weeks ago, and then there
- 14:11Speaker 3: was kind of this storm that was happening that maybe
- 14:13Speaker 3: the whole time the guy was Darren Peterson, and then
- 14:15Speaker 3: I saw the Tray Young contract. Not to say that
- 14:17Speaker 3: they couldn't play together, but I know Darren wants to
- 14:20Speaker 3: be a point guard and he wants to be the
- 14:21Speaker 3: guy that has the ball in his hands. And if
- 14:23Speaker 3: there's anybody that's not going to give you the ball
- 14:25Speaker 3: unless he passes it late in the shot clock, it's
- 14:27Speaker 3: stray Young.
- 14:28Speaker 1: So it doesn't really make sense to me.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I honestly think he and Aj are going to have
- 14:31Speaker 3: a weird kind of you know situation there eventually with that,
- 14:36Speaker 3: with the way that they handle those two guys, especially
- 14:38Speaker 3: with his contract. But I think it's pretty short up
- 14:41Speaker 3: at this point that Aj will go one, Darren will
- 14:43Speaker 3: go to Camp, will go three, and Caleb will.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Go for And in terms of does that make that
- 14:46Speaker 4: number two spot that attractive when it comes to Utah
- 14:49Speaker 4: sitting there potentially making a move because you know, Danny
- 14:51Speaker 4: Ainge is always itching to make a move.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird because like Austin Ainge is in control allegedly,
- 14:57Speaker 3: but then everybody's like Danny Ainge does the Danny.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Ainge does that so exactly, Yes, is he actually a controller?
- 15:05Speaker 1: Is he just doing what his dad tells.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Him, which I respect at some level, But yeah, I
- 15:10Speaker 3: think that they're not afraid to take somebody that they
- 15:13Speaker 3: don't necessarily like some of the trades like they did
- 15:16Speaker 3: with Rondo. I think Rondo is the best example of
- 15:18Speaker 3: Danny Ainge. Like Tubby Smith hated Rondo, right, He's like,
- 15:21Speaker 3: this guy's terrible. He cusses me out in practice, like
- 15:24Speaker 3: he's mister Southern gentleman, you know, Tubby Smith. And then
- 15:26Speaker 3: he's got Rondo, who's just basically an a hole the
- 15:29Speaker 3: entire time he's there, and they're like, please, don't take
- 15:31Speaker 3: this guy, and Danny Ainge is like, I love him,
- 15:33Speaker 3: Let's get him in here.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So I think they'll do the same type of thing
- 15:35Speaker 1: with Darren Peterson.
- 15:37Speaker 2: The Ringer Tailgate.
- 15:38Speaker 1: That's where you can check him out.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Tate Frasier, we appreciate your time, sir, Sorry about your
- 15:42Speaker 2: tar heels, but enjoy the NBA. Enjoy the NBA draft tonight,
- 15:46Speaker 2: my friend.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Appreciate you guys, all right, man,
