  Providing for ourselves is a tough job. When we try to do it on our own,

  we never have all that we think we need.

  But God promised that he will supply all of our needs, and we must know that
• 1:14
  if God is the provider, we'll have exactly what he wants us to have.

  Hello and thanks for spending this time with us. We

  are going to look at a very familiar scripture to most
• 1:32
  people and it's very sad to me
• 1:36
  when I think about this because I think most Christians
• 1:39
  that I come encounter with and most people that I talk to that have anything
• 1:43
  to do with the church they have a somewhat familiarity with this verse and the
• 1:49
  verse is Philippians 4 19 and it says But my God shall supply all your need
• 1:55
  according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
• 1:59
  Yet many Christians today, and myself included, don't live this verse to its fullest.

  And many Christians today totally just ignore the power of this verse in their
• 2:11
  life. Because this is a promise of God. This is an attribute of Jesus Christ.

  This isn't someone's idea of what might happen. this
• 2:20
  isn't me just telling you some feel-good words that would
• 2:23
  make you get over the moment of crisis that you might be
• 2:26
  in this is the word of god this is
• 2:29
  the truth in all of its realness in all of its glory and praise be to his name
• 2:35
  in all of its power you see many of us at this moment in time are facing something
• 2:42
  that we just can't understand how we're going to get through it.
• 2:48
  Perhaps you're spending your
• 2:51
  day at a doctor's office and you're wondering, how am I going to make it?
• 2:56
  The news I just received is grave to me.
• 3:00
  How's my family going to survive if I'm going to be laid off or out of work
• 3:05
  or worse be it if I'm going to check out?
• 3:08
  Maybe you're sitting at a table or you're looking at your finances and you're
• 3:14
  thinking, where's the money for my next meal going to come?
• 3:20
  Maybe you've just walked away from a loan officer who said, I'm sorry,
• 3:25
  I'd like to help you, but I can't.
• 3:27
  Maybe you're sitting in the midst of a broken relationship because of mistakes that you've made,
• 3:34
  because of actions that you've
• 3:37
  done that you shouldn't perhaps you're just
• 3:40
  sitting in some sort of moment of despair and
• 3:43
  you're wondering what am i going to do
• 3:46
  my friend look up your redemption
• 3:50
  draweth nigh the promises of god
• 3:53
  are true the promises of god are real the
• 3:56
  problem is we don't have enough faith in our life
• 3:59
  to exercise the power of his words he
• 4:03
  says in philippians 4 19 and listen closely
• 4:07
  this is the word of god this isn't kim speaking this
• 4:11
  is what he had penned in his book of
• 4:14
  philippians in the fourth chapter and the
• 4:16
  19th verse he says but my god shall
• 4:20
  supply all your need according to his riches in glory by christ jesus hello
• 4:25
  it isn't about your riches it's about his it isn't about what you can do it's
• 4:32
  about who he is but my friend did you see it says but my god.
• 4:38
  Some of us listening to this are in trouble right after the second word, the but my part.
• 4:47
  You don't have a personal relationship with the God of the universe.
• 4:51
  And my friends, he doesn't know you in a personal way. But worse than that,
• 4:56
  you don't know him in a personal way.
• 4:58
  So this promise isn't available to you.
• 5:02
  But the promise that is available to you, that opens all of heaven to you,
• 5:05
  that opens life, and that you finally will live life and have life more abundantly
• 5:10
  is the promise that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
• 5:15
  My friend, that's the first thing we have to pull in to our lives as we begin
• 5:20
  to live in this wicked, sinful world of sin and debauchery, of wickedness, of trouble, of chaos.
• 5:27
  My friend, there is a peace that passeth all understanding, and it's found in
• 5:32
  Christ Jesus. But it all begins in a personal relationship with God.
• 5:37
  But my God shall supply all of your need.
• 5:42
  After we have that personal relationship with God, it's imperative that we take
• 5:48
  a close look at the circumstances in our lives.
• 5:53
  Sometimes we find ourselves in total financial ruin because we've made decisions that weren't of God.
• 6:00
  Sometimes we find ourselves in broken relationships because we have act out
• 6:04
  of actions that weren't instigated by God.
• 6:08
  Sometimes we find ourselves in lots of chaos and trouble because we weren't
• 6:14
  walking in the will of God. But listen carefully.
• 6:18
  My Bible says in 1 John 1, 9 that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and
• 6:23
  just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
• 6:29
  Think on that one a minute. My friend, it isn't hopeless. And listen very carefully.
• 6:35
  That problem you have in your life may not have anything to do with anything you've done.
• 6:43
  You may have just been picked by the God of the universe to have the stage unfold in your life,
• 6:49
  to have a front row seat of God being glorified and exalted,
• 6:54
  and that the God of the universe would be brought high and lifted up,
• 6:58
  that all glory would go to him,
• 7:00
  you may have just been chosen by the God of the universe to allow all the world
• 7:05
  to see that you can love him out of righteousness.
• 7:09
  My friend, don't be quick to judge your neighbor who's in trouble.
• 7:14
  My friend, they may be in the most glorious place of their life, an instrument that's.
• 7:20
  Of the Most High God, a vessel through which His glory and honor flows.
• 7:24
  My friends, the situation that you're in right now isn't too big for God, and it isn't too small.
• 7:33
  The situation that you're in right now, if you have a personal relationship
• 7:38
  with God, and it is a need, my friends, you should be very thankful,
• 7:43
  as I am myself, that I didn't get everything I wanted.
• 7:47
  You parents that are listening to me, I want you to think about it for a moment.
• 7:51
  If you got everything your kid asks you for, what kind of parent would you be?
• 7:56
  Sometimes they ask you for things that bring them harm and danger.
• 7:59
  Sometimes they ask you for things that aren't good for them.
• 8:03
  And it's your job as a parent to sift through those things out of the love you have for them,
• 8:08
  out of the responsibility to take care of them, and to only give them those
• 8:12
  things that they need and those things that will bring them the most effective
• 8:17
  happiness and that will take care of them in the best way.
• 8:21
  How much more then does the Heavenly Father love you?
• 8:25
  He knows the plan He has for you, and He's not going to give you all these things
• 8:29
  over here that are going to remove you from His plan.
• 8:32
  And my friend, don't forget, you cannot begin to want what's best for you compared to what God wants.
• 8:39
  He loves you, and he wants to bless you, and he wants a personal relationship with you.
• 8:44
  And I have that on his word because he says, if you love me,
• 8:48
  you'll keep my commandments.
• 8:49
  And he says that you're my friends, and he says that he knocks on your heart's
• 8:53
  door, and he wants to have a relationship with you.
• 8:56
  My friends, the but my God part, you must have right.
• 9:00
  You must also know that you need to be asking him for the things you have need
• 9:04
  of, and you need to be living your life in such a way that you're in the center
• 9:08
  of his will so that you're not bringing extraneous things on yourself.
• 9:13
  Because be not deceived.
• 9:15
  God is not mocked.
• 9:17
  Whatsoever man's soul, if that shall he also reap. He's not a puppet on your string.
• 9:20
  So that when you get over here in the horse weeds and you're having an affair
• 9:24
  on your wife and you're messing around in places you shouldn't be,
• 9:27
  that all of a sudden he's going to come sweep in and there's going to be no consequence.
• 9:32
  But my friend, if you walk the straight and narrow and you do the things in
• 9:35
  the relationship that you're supposed to do, then you're not going to be at
• 9:39
  fault and you're not going to be the person who destroys that and he's going
• 9:44
  to be able to bless those relationships.
• 9:47
  My friends, we have a responsibility to live as children of God.
• 9:54
  And then we have the promise that we'll never need anything.
• 9:59
  And then he says he'll supply your needs according to his riches.
• 10:05
  Do you know how many of us live so far below our privileges that it is even incomprehensible?
• 10:13
  We're living on our bank accounts. We're living on our intelligence.
• 10:17
  We're living on our strength we're living on the things that are ours and he said hey,
• 10:24
  if you're mine i love you and
• 10:28
  daily he loadeth us with his benefits and he said come follow me and guess what
• 10:32
  he knows the way and the way is the way of blessing and he said i come to give
• 10:37
  you life but not just life my friend that you might have it more abundantly
• 10:42
  he has an abundant life for you And that doesn't necessarily mean riches,
• 10:46
  but it means a rich life in Jesus Christ.
• 10:50
  Your needs being met, you're protected, you're loved, you're cared for,
• 10:54
  you have joy unspeakable and full of glory and a peace that passeth all understanding.

  The world didn't give it to you and the world can't take it away.

  It's because of him and who he is and he supplies it to you because of that
• 11:07
  relationship you have with him.
• 11:09
  And it's all wrapped up in Jesus Christ. Amen.

  My friends, where do you stand right now in your life?
• 11:18
  Do you have a need that isn't being met?
• 11:22
  Well, let me be the first to tell you it's not because God can't meet it.
• 11:26
  Let me be the first to tell you it's not because God doesn't know about it.
• 11:31
  But let's examine it for a second. Maybe you don't have the personal relationship with God.
• 11:36
  Perhaps you haven't heard his call and come to him and said,
• 11:40
  look God I surrender all I need your help perhaps you haven't walked in the fullness of life.
• 11:51
  Perhaps you're not turning everything over to God and
• 11:54
  letting him have his way in your life my friends you are not
• 11:57
  the master architect my friends
• 12:00
  you're not the one who built you and you don't know what tomorrow holds
• 12:03
  but praise be to God if you're a child of
• 12:06
  the most high God you know who holds tomorrow and if
• 12:09
  you align your footsteps in his center of his will.
• 12:12
  He will supply your every need and you
• 12:15
  my dear friend will walk through this life protected you may have problems but
• 12:20
  you'll never be alone and you will overcome because greater is he that is in
• 12:24
  you than he that is in the world my friend but my god shall supply all of your
• 12:28
  needs according to his riches, hallelujah, doesn't have anything to do with mine,
• 12:34
  through Christ Jesus.
• 12:36
  Oh, my friends, stop living below your privileges and walk in the center of his will.
