- 0:46SPEAKER_24: Good morning, and I love your show.
- 0:50SPEAKER_38: The best part of the way to get up is going to jump.
- 1:19SPEAKER_14: So we have subpoenas out now for Representative Ilhan Omar's family members.
- 1:28SPEAKER_14: We'll talk about that on the show today.
- 1:31SPEAKER_14: New York Post revealed something that we had already known, and we'll go back in time a bit on the show this morning.
- 1:38SPEAKER_14: But uh apparently Ilhan Omar's staff, we'll do the doing that thing with my fingers allegedly, allegedly uh changed her birth date upon her entering into Congress.
- 1:52SPEAKER_14: Now, why would they do that?
- 1:53SPEAKER_14: Well, they did that because she, based off of her actual birth date, according to the allegations, she would not have been of the legal age in order to gain citizenship status when she did as a kid.
- 2:11SPEAKER_14: She would have been over 18.
- 2:13SPEAKER_14: By changing the date of her birth date, it makes her 17 at that point in time.
- 2:17SPEAKER_14: So we're beginning to see the potential of what this investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar might be about.
- 2:27SPEAKER_14: Now, this is all speculation because we haven't seen the affidavit yet regarding the raid that took place on Monday.
- 2:33SPEAKER_14: So we're gonna get into all this on the show today.
- 2:35SPEAKER_14: We have a lot of other news to cover.
- 2:37SPEAKER_14: We'll be talking with the candidate who's actually running against Ilhan Omar in her district this year.
- 2:44SPEAKER_14: John Nagel will be joining us at 7:30, and uh we'll get his thoughts on the controversy and whether or not this may end up providing uh an opportunity for an individual like himself who's running in this upcoming uh election.
- 2:59SPEAKER_14: Also, joining us in the studio uh later on in the 8 o'clock hour.
- 3:02SPEAKER_14: Riley, not Riley Gaines.
- 3:04SPEAKER_14: Riley Gaines is coming to town later today.
- 3:05SPEAKER_14: She's gonna be speaking in in uh Minneapolis.
- 3:08SPEAKER_14: We'll have details on that, but we're gonna be joined by three uh members of Turning Point USA.
- 3:12SPEAKER_14: We've got a couple of field directors, an individual who uh is one of the field office directors here in Minnesota.
- 3:19SPEAKER_14: So they'll be joining us on the uh comfy sofas here at the Center of the American Experiment and our studios.
- 3:26SPEAKER_14: The question that I'm gonna raise in this first opening segment is um where the heck is Ilhan Omar?
- 3:32SPEAKER_14: Nobody seems to be asking this question yet.
- 3:34SPEAKER_14: I am I'm curious where is Ilhan right now?
- 3:38SPEAKER_14: So I'll give you uh all the latest.
- 3:39SPEAKER_14: We've got a lot of uh audio uh to uh share with you as well.
- 3:43SPEAKER_14: And of course, we want to hear from you.
- 3:44SPEAKER_14: It is the John Justice Show, and it is presented by American Experiment.
- 3:48SPEAKER_14: You can go to the website, americanexperiment.org, check out all of the fantastic recent uh pieces, articles, uh commentaries published by the policy fellows here.
- 3:58SPEAKER_14: Of course, all the details on how to listen to the show either at the website or on the MixLR app, which is completely free.
- 4:05SPEAKER_14: You can also watch the show at Center of the American Experiments, Facebook, and YouTube pages, mine as well, and on my exfeed at uh John Justice.
- 4:14SPEAKER_14: I am your host, John Justice, in case you hadn't figured that out yet.
- 4:17SPEAKER_14: Uh, joining me this morning and getting the studio all prepped is uh producer uh Devin.
- 4:22SPEAKER_14: Also want to remind you that uh it's it is uh golden turkey time.
- 4:27SPEAKER_14: We have the trophy right here uh in studio, and we need your help.
- 4:30SPEAKER_14: Golden Turkey season is upon us, and we need four bird-brained examples of waste in state government.
- 4:38SPEAKER_14: No idea is too big or too small.
- 4:40SPEAKER_14: And I had some details wrong about this yesterday.
- 4:42SPEAKER_14: So um, we're taking submissions um for the Golden Turkey Award, and these would be, you know, wastes of tax dollars.
- 4:51SPEAKER_14: So, like last year, Governor Dim Walls uh was the winner with his$430,000 legal bill to go testify in front of Congress.
- 5:00SPEAKER_14: The year before that, it was the millions wasted on the state flag and seal.
- 5:05SPEAKER_14: So we're looking for submissions for this year's Golden Turkey Award.
- 5:10SPEAKER_14: If you're watching online, you can see the trophy right there.
- 5:13SPEAKER_14: Um the finalists will be announced at the beginning of November with the winners announced uh right before Thanksgiving here on the John Justice Show.
- 5:21SPEAKER_14: So uh again, get your submissions in, head on over to American Experiment.org, and uh you can make your submissions.
- 5:29SPEAKER_14: We'll announce the finalists again, the beginning of November here on the show.
- 5:33SPEAKER_14: And then, of course, we will um announce the winner here on the show right before Thanksgiving.
- 5:39SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294.
- 5:42SPEAKER_14: That's the phone number.
- 5:43SPEAKER_14: If you want to leave a uh blast, a text or voice message at any point uh throughout the show this morning.
- 5:49SPEAKER_14: We already heard a few comments from some friends of the show.
- 5:52SPEAKER_14: Let's go back to the blaster line as we kick things off for a Wednesday.
- 5:55SPEAKER_48: Hey, good morning, John, Dennis of Southwest Minnesota.
- 5:58SPEAKER_48: Hey, great job on Newsmax here and I you both Liz Collin and your and yourself did a great job.
- 6:04SPEAKER_14: Oh, thank you.
- 6:05SPEAKER_48: And you have a great show.
- 6:06SPEAKER_48: Um back to where she came from.
- 6:12SPEAKER_48: And plus get all our money back, too.
- 6:14SPEAKER_48: Have a great day.
- 6:17SPEAKER_14: Well, thank you for the kind words, Dennis.
- 6:19SPEAKER_14: Um, yeah, I I wasn't very happy with my newsmax appearance the other night.
- 6:23SPEAKER_14: So that makes me uh that makes me pleased.
- 6:25SPEAKER_14: It was right before my bedtime.
- 6:26SPEAKER_14: It was like 7.15.
- 6:28SPEAKER_14: So like mentally I'm shifting into sleep mode.
- 6:31SPEAKER_14: I had already taken my mini leaf uh nightgummy, which you can find at minile minileaf.com, min-n-e-l-e-a-f dot com.
- 6:41SPEAKER_14: Fantastic products at uh minileaf.com.
- 6:44SPEAKER_14: As a matter of fact, I think um oh, I'll share this with you uh a little bit.
- 6:50SPEAKER_14: Oh no, here I got it.
- 6:51SPEAKER_14: Uh we have a brand new review for mini leaf.
- 6:53SPEAKER_14: Uh, this came in yesterday.
- 6:55SPEAKER_14: I absolutely love your products.
- 6:57SPEAKER_14: The night gummies, it has changed my way, my life in the way I sleep.
- 7:03SPEAKER_14: I have referred you to many of my boomer friends, and they are extremely happy as well.
- 7:09SPEAKER_14: Thanks for helping all of us worried 60 somethings out.
- 7:15SPEAKER_14: So, another um five-star review.
- 7:17SPEAKER_14: This one from Teresa at minileaf and minileaf.com.
- 7:20SPEAKER_14: So head on over to the website and check out uh all of their amazing products.
- 7:24SPEAKER_14: All right, let's go uh here.
- 7:25SPEAKER_14: Oh, and just getting back to the to the comment.
- 7:27SPEAKER_14: So, Dennis, thank you for the comment because I was not pleased with the way um with my appearance that night.
- 7:33SPEAKER_14: But as I told Melinda, I'm like, I'm my own worst critic.
- 7:36SPEAKER_14: So, you know, I I really do uh I appreciate that.
- 7:40SPEAKER_37: Hi, this is um nevermind.
- 7:42SPEAKER_14: Um Well, good morning, Nevermind.
- 7:44SPEAKER_14: Thank you so much for checking out the show this morning.
- 7:47SPEAKER_14: I I appreciate it.
- 7:48SPEAKER_14: It's a rather unique name.
- 7:49SPEAKER_14: Is it a nickname or did your parents name you that?
- 7:51SPEAKER_14: Or is your first name never and your last name mind?
- 7:55SPEAKER_14: I'm sorry, I'm just giving her a hard time.
- 7:56SPEAKER_14: I she actually has some legitimate comments to make here.
- 7:59SPEAKER_14: I don't want to hammer on the friend of the show.
- 8:02SPEAKER_37: I called uh Omar's office DC number.
- 8:08SPEAKER_37: Voice her voicemail and DC on her.
- 8:11SPEAKER_37: Her office and DC is cool.
- 8:14SPEAKER_37: And I hope it's all bad.
- 8:15SPEAKER_37: I wanted to leave a message and just say, how do you how do you like it?
- 8:20SPEAKER_37: Now you know how President Trump feels.
- 8:23SPEAKER_14: So let's get let's get into this, because nobody's mentioning this yet, and I'm curious at what point are people gonna start asking.
- 8:32SPEAKER_14: Where is she?
- 8:33SPEAKER_14: So I consulted my AI show prep companion uh Alex this morning.
- 8:39SPEAKER_14: And I just asked him, hey, has there been, you know, any public appearance of Ilhan Omar since the raid on Monday?
- 8:45SPEAKER_14: So this is what we got.
- 8:46SPEAKER_14: Uh Monday, Omar publicly responded on X saying she was okay and she would not be silenced.
- 8:51SPEAKER_14: We've talked about this on the show.
- 8:53SPEAKER_14: Uh the Minnesota Star Tribune reported that shortly after 11 a.m.
- 8:57SPEAKER_14: Monday.
- 8:58SPEAKER_14: So yesterday, Fox News reported that her husband Tim Minette, who for those that aren't aware, left his wife and children and ran off with Ilhan Omar in a shocking declaration of love.
- 9:11SPEAKER_14: True story.
- 9:12SPEAKER_14: We had a lot of fun with that on the on the show, right?
- 9:15SPEAKER_14: And my dear friend Drew, rest in peace.
- 9:17SPEAKER_14: That was probably one of the funniest things to him.
- 9:19SPEAKER_14: He loved the shocking declaration of love from Tim Minette.
- 9:24SPEAKER_14: Yeah.
- 9:24SPEAKER_14: Uh let's see.
- 9:26SPEAKER_14: Her congressional.
- 9:27SPEAKER_14: So, okay, so Tim Minette was seen outside their Washington, D.C.
- 9:30SPEAKER_14: residence yesterday.
- 9:32SPEAKER_14: So he was still in town.
- 9:34SPEAKER_14: Um, so no sighting of Ilhan Omar yet.
- 9:38SPEAKER_14: Uh her official congressional website, the lat the latest listed statement about the raid was dated on Monday.
- 9:46SPEAKER_14: There's been no confirmed public appearance by Omar herself either yesterday or anything scheduled for today.
- 9:53SPEAKER_14: Uh the Washington Post and Fox News have reported uh the subpoenas following Monday's search of Omar's DC home, and we're going to get into um a bit of that coming up in just a moment.
- 10:04SPEAKER_14: Like I said, I have a lot of audio to share uh regarding this.
- 10:06SPEAKER_14: And we do have other news items to dive into today as well.
- 10:10SPEAKER_14: Um Minneapolis has decided in the midst of this horrible, I'm just laughing because it's such a joke.
- 10:16SPEAKER_14: They've decided in the midst of this horrible uh public education Minneapolis public school uh funding issue that they they're not going to close down the schools in order to save money.
- 10:27SPEAKER_14: So what are you guys gonna do then?
- 10:30SPEAKER_14: Yeah, that's a good uh that's a good question.
- 10:33SPEAKER_14: So we'll talk about that a little bit uh later on.
- 10:35SPEAKER_14: Also, the uh ICE agent who was charged for simply brandishing his firearm in the middle of a tense situation where he felt like he was, or he thought he was being boxed in by on-the-street anti-ICE insurrectionists.
- 10:51SPEAKER_14: He was charged the same thing that uh Triple A, the 18-year-old, who drew his firearm and fired and shot people.
- 11:01SPEAKER_14: He was charged the same thing that he was, appeared in court yesterday.
- 11:05SPEAKER_14: So I'll give you some uh some details on that a little bit uh later on uh in the uh in the show.
- 11:10SPEAKER_14: Uh had a comment that rolled in.
- 11:12SPEAKER_14: Uh I lived in downtown Minneapolis and so glad you're having on John Nagel.
- 11:16SPEAKER_14: I'd like to know more about him.
- 11:17SPEAKER_14: We're all gonna find out more um about him.
- 11:21SPEAKER_14: Uh somebody else uh asked, uh Deb from Edina, looking for Ilhan, have they checked with the mental health facility in Ohio?
- 11:28SPEAKER_14: Maybe she got a referral with Taller Rico.
- 11:31SPEAKER_14: That's a whole other thing, by the way.
- 11:33SPEAKER_14: That Tallerico controversy is just insane.
- 11:37SPEAKER_14: So we've been talking about it this week, but the the left is saying that the whole situation has been debunked regarding whether or not he did or did not end up in that mental institution in Ohio.
- 11:51SPEAKER_14: They're basing that solely off of him saying no, I wasn't there.
- 11:56SPEAKER_14: And the change of story coming from the mental health facility.
- 12:01SPEAKER_14: I know we're covering a lot right now, but I just wanted to touch upon that based on the based on the comment that rolled in.
- 12:06SPEAKER_14: Um what's funny to me about this is that the initial phone call that was done by Nick Soder and the independent journalist and a part of his team, and I've met Nick before, a great guy.
- 12:17SPEAKER_14: These dudes do not put out this information falsely.
- 12:22SPEAKER_14: It is in it is in no way, shape, or form in the best interest of these independent journalists, your Nick Soders, your your Nick your Nick Shirley's, I mean, you name it, your Savannah Gonzalez.
- 12:33SPEAKER_14: These individuals are under so much scrutiny.
- 12:36SPEAKER_14: I have more faith and confidence in their reporting than I do almost anybody else's beyond American Experiment and like Alpha News.
- 12:43SPEAKER_14: Because they know that they're going to be held to a higher standard and level of scrutiny than anybody else's.
- 12:49SPEAKER_14: So to put out fake or false fabricated information, it is not worth it to them.
- 12:53SPEAKER_14: So, yeah, that's a good point there.
- 12:55SPEAKER_14: Uh, one more.
- 12:56SPEAKER_14: Uh somebody uh left a message.
- 12:57SPEAKER_14: Uh go John Nagel.
- 12:59SPEAKER_14: We really need a change in real representation in the fifth from someone who will work for us.
- 13:04SPEAKER_14: And that comes from uh Deb in Fridley.
- 13:07SPEAKER_14: I made my drive-through Fridley on the way into the show uh this morning.
- 13:11SPEAKER_14: All right, so let's go here.
- 13:13SPEAKER_14: Um, what we know about the family subpoenas, and then we'll look at a couple other news items before we revisit this issue with Ilhan Omar, because I did a timeline breakdown.
- 13:22SPEAKER_14: I did a deep dive on Ilhan, and her time from arrival here to the United States, her time in high school, what she did between high school before entering into the legislature is all incredibly revealing.
- 13:35SPEAKER_14: And it's important, in my view, as we await the specific details on what the federal government is looking into regarding this investigation, that we get into a bit of Ilhan Omar's background.
- 13:49SPEAKER_14: Because when you trace back her history, her time here when she left Somalia and what she's done with that time, it really is very relevant and revealing into the mindset of this individual.
- 14:04SPEAKER_14: You can easily see the picture that's painted and why Ilhan Omar is sort of the anti-American activist, activist Congresswoman that she that she is.
- 14:16SPEAKER_14: So, uh Washington Post, Fox News yesterday reported that um uh Sarah Noor, Ilhan Omar's sister, was served a subpoena yesterday.
- 14:27SPEAKER_14: Other family members were as well.
- 14:29SPEAKER_14: Fox News said the subpoenas were sent to multiple relatives, while the Washington Post reports that some family members received grand jury subpoenas.
- 14:37SPEAKER_14: The complete list of the recipients has not been publicly established as of as of late.
- 14:42SPEAKER_14: Now her late father, which is also under question based off of he's under question based off of the fact that he may never have legally established U.S.
- 14:54SPEAKER_14: residency, and therefore, by default, Ilhan Omar never did.
- 14:59SPEAKER_14: Again, and we're looking at this based off of speculation of what we are currently assuming this investigation is about.
- 15:06SPEAKER_14: When we get the relevant information on what the DC judge signed off on, this all could change.
- 15:11SPEAKER_14: This could be something completely different they're looking at.
- 15:15SPEAKER_14: Especially when you consider, and this is something I'll talk about next hour, when you consider what Ilhan Omar did in her time in the legislature and then in Congress and how it relates to Feeding Our Future, she was a critical component of getting legislation passed, which made it easy for the fraud to take place in Feeding Our Future.
- 15:37SPEAKER_14: Now, just because she got that legislation passed doesn't mean that she was involved in the fraud.
- 15:42SPEAKER_14: But what she did pass in lowering the barriers of entry and the waivers that were provided in the midst of COVID, led directly to the largest COVID fraud scandal that the country has seen in Feeding Our Future.
- 15:57SPEAKER_14: Now, her late father, Nur Omar Mohammed, central to the investigation, again, reportedly part of the focus, and they're examining whether he provided inaccurate information, as I mentioned, on immigration paperwork decades ago.
- 16:14SPEAKER_14: Including information about her birth date and past military service.
- 16:17SPEAKER_14: He died in 2020, so obviously he can't be questioned uh directly at this point in time.
- 16:23SPEAKER_14: Now, according to the Washington Post, the investigation is examining whether Omar was eligible to obtain U.S.
- 16:29SPEAKER_14: citizenship through her father's naturalization in 2000, on top of the fact that it looks like her staff allegedly went and changed her birth date, which would have retroactively made her legal at the time she got her status, when in all actuality she uh wasn't.
- 16:44SPEAKER_14: Let's go here.
- 16:46SPEAKER_14: U.S.
- 16:46SPEAKER_14: uh attorney uh judge Jean uh Piero was on Fox News yesterday.
- 16:51SPEAKER_14: Uh her thoughts on the raid in and of itself.
- 16:54SPEAKER_42: The big news from yesterday here in D.C., and that was the targeted raid by HSI of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's place.
- 17:02SPEAKER_42: What do you know about that?
- 17:03SPEAKER_42: Could it lead to an indictment, possible charges?
- 17:05SPEAKER_49: Well, look, what you have is Homeland Security.
- 17:08SPEAKER_49: Uh they do everything from narcotics to immigration.
- 17:11SPEAKER_49: They got a warrant signed by a federal judge.
- 17:14SPEAKER_49: So you've got the executive branch through HSI going to a federal judge who is cognizant of the Fourth Amendment rights of any target who said, You have the right to search this person's house.
- 17:25SPEAKER_49: Based upon that execution of that warrant, we will see what comes of it.
- 17:30SPEAKER_49: But I think the administration's no question that that judge would not have signed that warrant unless there was probable cause.
- 17:39SPEAKER_49: And probably more than that, given the individual who's involved, and given the fact that we're in the nation's capital with judges in the nation's capital.
- 17:48SPEAKER_49: But more than that, it is upon the execution of the warrant that we will see.
- 17:52SPEAKER_49: Are we dealing with civil uh immigration issues?
- 17:56SPEAKER_49: Because they've made it clear this is about immigration from the warrant itself.
- 17:59SPEAKER_49: Are we dealing with criminal immigration issues?
- 18:02SPEAKER_49: You know, there are several investigations going on, and I don't think there's any question.
- 18:06SPEAKER_49: But if there's a crime that was committed, it will be prosecuted.
- 18:09SPEAKER_14: So what about 651-964-0294.
- 18:14SPEAKER_14: If you want to add your comments at any point throughout the uh show this morning, again, 651-964-0294.
- 18:23SPEAKER_14: You can also email me, John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 18:27SPEAKER_14: Uh coming up, I do want to give you just a bit of the timeline of Ilhan Omar, because it is potentially revealing as we sort of set the stage for the conversation moving forward and into uh next hour.
- 18:41SPEAKER_14: Also, yesterday, uh not gonna lie, it was kind of a rough start for uh Trump's new White House press secretary.
- 18:48SPEAKER_14: I mean, hopefully she gets better, but speaking of being once one worst critic, uh her first time out there, so I think she needs to be cut a little bit of slack.
- 18:58SPEAKER_14: I will say my expectations were a little bit higher based off of her commentary um on uh news media shows, but this is a completely different ballgame.
- 19:05SPEAKER_14: I'll have an example to share with you and we'll get to some of uh your thoughts again on the blaster line here on the John Justice show.
- 19:11SPEAKER_14: I want to remind you that right now it may not seem like the best time to go and lose weight, but I'm telling you it absolutely is before the holidays arrive.
- 19:18SPEAKER_14: Set yourself up so you don't go through that routine where you hit January 2nd and suddenly you're like, oh, I need to drop weight because I put on a bunch of weight over the holidays.
- 19:28SPEAKER_14: No, within 40 days, you could be a brand new you and had developed, having developed the necessary healthy eating habits to keep the weight off.
- 19:38SPEAKER_14: That's certainly what I did.
- 19:39SPEAKER_14: We're not talking pills, we're not talking shots, we're talking no gimmicks whatsoever, just real food.
- 19:44SPEAKER_14: It is a smarter approach to weight loss wherein you can avoid the yo-yo dieting.
- 19:49SPEAKER_14: It's neutral waves, all natural 40-day program.
- 19:52SPEAKER_14: If you're overweight, if you're on medication, tired all the time, your body may be telling you a story that your scale is not revealing to you.
- 20:00SPEAKER_14: And this is where the completely free truth metabolic session from neutral wave for just calling them today comes into play.
- 20:07SPEAKER_14: You'll see your body fat, your muscle mask, your muscle mass, your metabolic age, and then the program is tailored directly to you.

- 20:19SPEAKER_14: It is real, I can't, it's a fantastic program.
- 20:21SPEAKER_14: It has absolutely changed my life.
- 20:23SPEAKER_14: Dr.
- 20:23SPEAKER_14: Bob has done that through this program.
- 20:25SPEAKER_14: He wants the same thing to happen for you.
- 20:27SPEAKER_14: I want the same thing to happen for you.
- 20:29SPEAKER_14: You get the free truth metabolic session and a free red light therapy session.
- 20:33SPEAKER_14: I've done it.
- 20:34SPEAKER_14: It's incredibly effective.
- 20:35SPEAKER_14: No obligation at all.
- 20:36SPEAKER_14: All you have to do is call today to find out more about the program.
- 20:40SPEAKER_14: It's that simple.

- 21:00SPEAKER_14: There's nothing else like it, and individual results may vary at neutrawave.us.
- 21:05SPEAKER_04: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 21:10SPEAKER_04: I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 21:14SPEAKER_04: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 21:20SPEAKER_04: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Pest scores for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 21:26SPEAKER_04: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: So how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 21:44SPEAKER_04: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of a school board and administrative accountability.
- 21:51SPEAKER_04: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 21:56SPEAKER_04: Go to the blog section of my website at reelectjoeescott.com.
- 22:00SPEAKER_04: And ECCSMCA scores.com.
- 22:03SPEAKER_04: The SAP was paid for by ReelectroScott.
- 22:06SPEAKER_14: If you need help for your home, you'll want to call a home service company you can trust.
- 22:10SPEAKER_14: That company is Ericsson Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical.
- 22:13SPEAKER_14: It's absolutely that simple.
- 22:16SPEAKER_14: You're talking about a local, a family-owned team, Zach and his team.
- 22:20SPEAKER_14: They're great people.
- 22:21SPEAKER_14: I actually pass by there quite often on the way home, and there are times when I just want to stop, pull over, walk in and say, hey guys, what's going on?
- 22:29SPEAKER_14: It's such a friendly office.
- 22:31SPEAKER_14: But their staff absolutely knows what they're doing.
- 22:34SPEAKER_14: Licensed experts across the trades of plumbing, HVAC, electrical gas, safety and security systems, they're all non-commissioned.
- 22:41SPEAKER_14: So they're not going to give you upsells.

- 23:02SPEAKER_14: This is a company that you can trust, wherein those companies you used to rely on that used to be local, they're not anymore.
- 23:09SPEAKER_14: They've been purchased by other companies outside the state, and they're no longer offering the localized service that Ericsson Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical are.
- 23:17SPEAKER_14: It's the team that I trust.
- 23:18SPEAKER_14: It's the team that uh Catherine Johnson here at American Experiment trusts, and you can trust them too.
- 23:22SPEAKER_14: iHeartexon.com, that's iHeartErickson.com, or call them today.

- 24:54SPEAKER_27: But unfortunately, there are a lot of dumb sick of fans that'll send her some money.
- 24:59SPEAKER_27: But it's crazy.
- 25:01SPEAKER_27: Anyway, have a good day.
- 25:03SPEAKER_14: That rally that took place for her was astonishing.
- 25:05SPEAKER_14: If you've seen the coverage online of the support Ilhan rally that took place, I think it was actually on Monday afternoon.
- 25:11SPEAKER_14: How in the Sam Heck did they get gear, signs and t-shirts, Stand with Ilhan so quickly?
- 25:17SPEAKER_14: Unless they had them pre-made from a different time, I have no idea how they ended up getting that gear so fast.
- 25:26SPEAKER_14: I mean, it could just be that the moment the raid took place, there was somebody somewhere who immediately got to work printing stuff up, but the crowd, it was nothing but a bunch of old white people.
- 25:39SPEAKER_14: Talking about how her constitutional rights have been violated.
- 25:42SPEAKER_14: It's like you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
- 25:45SPEAKER_21: Morning, John.
- 25:46SPEAKER_21: George in Brooklyn Park.
- 25:47SPEAKER_21: I'm gonna go ahead and call my shot that Gilhan Omar will be deported on Christmas Day.
- 25:55SPEAKER_21: Write it down.
- 25:57SPEAKER_21: Love the show.
- 25:58SPEAKER_21: Have a great day.
- 26:00SPEAKER_14: Thank you for that.
- 26:00SPEAKER_14: So I'll mark it down by Christmas Day.
- 26:04SPEAKER_14: I think let me uh I'll give you my prediction.
- 26:07SPEAKER_14: Uh, we're certainly going to see the indictment before.
- 26:10SPEAKER_14: Well, let me back up.
- 26:11SPEAKER_14: Let me not say certain.
- 26:12SPEAKER_14: I would venture a guess that we will see an indictment of Ilhan Omar, whatever it is that they're investigating, before the midterms.
- 26:22SPEAKER_14: I think this is moving rapidly.
- 26:24SPEAKER_14: I agree with others who have stated that um this was the end of the investigation, not the beginning of the uh investigation.
- 26:35SPEAKER_30: You know, as far as Ilhan Omar goes and people saying, is there any there there?
- 26:39SPEAKER_30: There has to be there there.
- 26:42SPEAKER_30: Because if they're not, she's gonna come back bigger, better, stronger, and more bulletproof than ever.
- 26:51SPEAKER_30: So I'm sure the third minister has a pile of evidence against her.
- 27:00SPEAKER_14: Yeah, no, I I believe they do too.
- 27:02SPEAKER_14: Uh listen, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
- 27:06SPEAKER_14: They would not have gone through what they've gone through if they weren't planning on putting forward an indictment.
- 27:10SPEAKER_14: Here's more of what Judge uh Pierot had to say on Fox News uh yesterday here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 27:17SPEAKER_49: Uh they do everything from narcotics to immigration.
- 27:21SPEAKER_49: They got a warrant signed by a federal judge.
- 27:23SPEAKER_49: So you've got the executive branch through HSI going to a federal judge who is cognizant of the Fourth Amendment rights of any target who said, You have the right to search this person's house.
- 27:35SPEAKER_49: Based upon that execution of that warrant, we will see what comes of it.
- 27:39SPEAKER_49: But I think the administration's no question that that judge would not have signed that warrant unless there was a probable cause.
- 27:48SPEAKER_49: And probably more than that, given the individual who's involved, and given the fact that we're in the nation's capital with judges in the nation's capital.
- 27:57SPEAKER_49: But more than that, it is upon the execution of the warrant that we will see.
- 28:01SPEAKER_49: Are we dealing with civil uh immigration issues?
- 28:05SPEAKER_49: Because they made it clear this is about immigration from the warrant itself.
- 28:09SPEAKER_49: Are we dealing with criminal immigration issues?
- 28:11SPEAKER_49: You know, there are several investigations going on, and I don't think there's any question.
- 28:16SPEAKER_49: But if there's a crime that was committed, it will be prosecuted.
- 28:19SPEAKER_42: So, what about these financial disclosures disclosures?
- 28:21SPEAKER_42: She was given a pass by the House ethics, but somehow$30 million magically appeared, then it magically disappeared.
- 28:30SPEAKER_49: I can tell you that is subject of an investigation as well.
- 28:32SPEAKER_49: And it doesn't matter.
- 28:34SPEAKER_49: It doesn't matter what the House does, it doesn't matter, you know, what this agency or that does.
- 28:39SPEAKER_49: We're looking at the facts based upon the facts.
- 28:41SPEAKER_49: We'll follow them wherever they take us.
- 28:43SPEAKER_42: All right, this is your office that's doing this.
- 28:45SPEAKER_42: Yep.
- 28:46SPEAKER_42: All right.
- 28:47SPEAKER_42: Judge, it's always great to see you.
- 28:48SPEAKER_42: Always great to see you.
- 28:49SPEAKER_26: Thank you for dropping by the course there wasn't very much diversity at the Ilana Omar rally.
- 28:56SPEAKER_26: All the tamales were uh running learning centers and daycares and uh making videos on how to uh get government dollars, take advantage of government programs.
- 29:07SPEAKER_26: Have a great day.
- 29:08SPEAKER_26: Bye now.
- 29:09SPEAKER_14: Uh thank you, Hans.
- 29:10SPEAKER_14: Always great to hear from you.
- 29:10SPEAKER_14: Again, 651-964-0294 is the blaster line for your voice and text messages.
- 29:17SPEAKER_14: So these subpoenas that went out yesterday, uh they could be, just to give you a little bit of what we're waiting on with these new with these new developments, uh, the subpoenas could seek documents or testimony that help establish the family's immigration history.
- 29:30SPEAKER_14: That's a reasonable explanation of their potential purpose, not confirmation, though, obviously, of what the investigators specifically went and requested.
- 29:39SPEAKER_14: Uh the actual subpoena language, the full scope of the investigation has yet to be revealed.
- 29:44SPEAKER_14: So these are the questions that we now have that have been raised in all of this.
- 29:50SPEAKER_14: So the records are testimony the investigators are seeking from her sister and the other relatives.
- 29:55SPEAKER_14: And I think a lot of the speculation swirling around this is immigration related, this could speak to that.
- 30:02SPEAKER_14: Also, before I before I get too far, there was this RICO aspect and the conspiracy.
- 30:10SPEAKER_14: That would make sense if this is focused on her congressional staff intentionally going and changing her birth date upon entering Congress.
- 30:21SPEAKER_14: Because now you're involving multiple people who are fully aware of what they're engaged in to essentially commit immigration fraud by making it look like she was in a she was underage when she received citizenship when in reality she wasn't.
- 30:38SPEAKER_14: And this is why I keep bringing up the where is Ilhan Omar thing.
- 30:42SPEAKER_14: Because if there is potential, I just want to put this out there.
- 30:46SPEAKER_14: If there is potential that this is cut and dry, and Ilhan Omar is aware of this, does she stick around?
- 30:55SPEAKER_14: I mean, when you get into the background of where she came from, her upbringing, her time here in America, the people that she surrounded herself by, there's a very, very interesting parallel to what we see with illegal aliens when they enter the country illegally, and then how that first lack of respect of the sovereignty of this country sets the baseline for everything they do moving forward.
- 31:22SPEAKER_14: Meaning you go all the way back to the beginning.
- 31:25SPEAKER_14: Well, I committed this act of fraud here, or I broke the law by coming into the country illegally.
- 31:30SPEAKER_14: So if I were to go and do other illegal things, it's just adding to the, you know, to the illegal activity that I've already engaged in.
- 31:39SPEAKER_14: So is it really any worse?
- 31:40SPEAKER_14: I mean, there's a lot of parallels here as you begin to break this down.
- 31:45SPEAKER_14: The questions being raised are the subpoenas seeking information about her age, her father's naturalization, or both?
- 31:53SPEAKER_14: Are any relatives themselves targets of the investigation, or are they being asked to provide information as witnesses?
- 32:00SPEAKER_14: So we won't know any of this until we actually have the opportunity to see the details of the uh subpoenas themselves.
- 32:07SPEAKER_14: All right, let's get back to uh a few of your thoughts from the blaster line uh this morning.
- 32:12SPEAKER_27: Hey, John, maybe she self-deported.
- 32:16SPEAKER_14: Well, you know, it's always a possibility, Lou.
- 32:18SPEAKER_14: You never know.
- 32:19SPEAKER_14: Very distinctive voice, that Lou.
- 32:22SPEAKER_14: I'm telling you.
- 32:24SPEAKER_19: Good morning, John.
- 32:25SPEAKER_19: Dave, St.
- 32:26SPEAKER_19: Louis Park.
- 32:28SPEAKER_19: I don't fully understand why they did not raid her home here in Minnesota as well.
- 32:37SPEAKER_19: Uh obviously, I don't know the whole scope of the matter, but you would think they would do both homes at the same time so evidence could not be destroyed.
- 32:48SPEAKER_14: So I would encourage you to go back and listen to the conversation that I had with Bill Glaun, policy fellow here at uh American Experiment, because we talked about this very issue.
- 32:59SPEAKER_14: First off, there may not have been anything um relevant for the federal government to need to get their hands on in her, you know, at her home, which apparently is an apartment.
- 33:12SPEAKER_14: She lives in D.C.
- 33:14SPEAKER_14: But the other aspect of it is my understanding is they would have had to have received a sign off from a judge here in Minnesota in order to conduct a raid here in Minnesota, in which case, um, HSI, uh Homeland Security Investigations, the DOJ, may not have wanted to go that route because they probably, I mean, this is in all likelihood, they would not have been able to get uh a judge to sign off on it here based on the activism of our judges.
- 33:46SPEAKER_14: So that's probably the reason why.
- 33:47SPEAKER_14: That raid that took place on Monday, the line of thinking is that it was more of a, hey, let's just make sure we get this part of it done and we'll get some other documents that we may need to get our hands on, but they already more than likely know what it is that they are going to be charging her with.
- 34:05SPEAKER_14: Uh, listen, even um, even MS now can't uh deny this anymore.
- 34:11SPEAKER_14: We'll get back to more of your comments here in uh just a moment.
- 34:13SPEAKER_14: I wanted to share this clip with you.
- 34:15SPEAKER_14: They even admitted that the federal judge signing off on the search warrant warrant means that DHS had the show's substantial evidence.
- 34:23SPEAKER_08: That we've been following, we're learning federal agents searched the Washington, D.C.
- 34:27SPEAKER_08: area home of Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar earlier this morning.
- 34:31SPEAKER_08: The Department of Justice said in a statement that the search was part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation.
- 34:37SPEAKER_08: Let's bring in MS Now's Ken Delanian, who has been following this story for us.
- 34:40SPEAKER_08: Ken, what more do we know at this point in the morning?
- 34:43SPEAKER_47: Good morning, Ariel.
- 34:44SPEAKER_47: As you mentioned, the Justice Department is confirming that this search was pursuant to a court order.
- 34:48SPEAKER_47: So that means that the Department of Homeland Security, which carried out the search, had to present evidence to a judge suggesting that there was evidence of a crime at this location at Representative Omar's home in Washington, D.C.
- 35:00SPEAKER_47: Uh, or at least that there's there was probable cause to believe that there was such evidence.
- 35:04SPEAKER_47: And so the agents came in and they've searched the home as we understand it.
- 35:08SPEAKER_47: Uh now, we've not been able to get any details on what exactly this criminal investigation is about.
- 35:13SPEAKER_47: Uh other outlets are reporting that investigators are examining paperwork pursuant to Omar's citizenship.
- 35:20SPEAKER_47: She acquired citizenship in 2000, and one of the questions it's been reported that investigators are examining is whether she was 18 at the time that that happened, because the law would be different whether she was a child or whether she was 18.
- 35:33SPEAKER_47: Uh that that seems like it would be an issue easily cleared up, but nonetheless, uh, you know, these federal agents are combing or were combing through her personal property in a very, very intrusive search.
- 35:43SPEAKER_47: Obviously, this raises a lot of questions because Representative Omar uh is a long-standing opponent of President Trump, uh, has been targeted uh on the right uh for a long period of time.
- 35:53SPEAKER_47: She's a sitting member of Congress uh uh with certain privileges around the speech and debate clause.
- 35:58SPEAKER_47: So there's a lot we don't know here.
- 36:00SPEAKER_47: A lot of questions have been raised.
- 36:02SPEAKER_47: What we do know is the Justice Department is saying that this was a search pursuant to a court order.
- 36:07SPEAKER_14: And the misinformation and straight-up lies that are being put out into the media right now are absolutely ridiculous.
- 36:14SPEAKER_14: There's an editorial in the Star Tribune this morning written by Taylor Schlitz for um uh to kind of give you some insight into this particular um editorial columnist for the Minnesota Star Tribune.
- 36:29SPEAKER_14: Uh Taylor Schlitz's previous article was Target's offensive Halloween costume is exactly what DEI was supposed to prevent.
- 36:38SPEAKER_14: So this was an individual who was buying into that ridiculous um Halloween costume controversy that popped up a couple of uh months back.
- 36:46SPEAKER_14: But in this piece, they say uh the raid on Ilhan Omar uh Ilhan Omar's home raises questions about a federal abuse of power.
- 36:54SPEAKER_14: For the record, just because someone you like is being investigated doesn't mean that it's an abuse of power.
- 36:59SPEAKER_14: And as even your left-wing media has been announcing, this judge would not have been able to sign off on this search warrant to go in and raid Ilhan Omar's home if the D if the department, uh if DHS hadn't provided the necessary evidence for him to do so.
- 37:16SPEAKER_14: But in this piece from Taylor, she writes the search uh occurred just weeks before the election, in which Omar is a candidate.
- 37:23SPEAKER_14: Senior administration officials had publicly discussed investigating her.
- 37:27SPEAKER_14: The Justice Department's own rules prohibit timing investigative actions with influence elections.
- 37:33SPEAKER_14: No, they don't.
- 37:34SPEAKER_14: There are no rules.
- 37:35SPEAKER_14: There's nothing on the books that talks about withholding an investigation or an indictment because an election is right around the corner.
- 37:44SPEAKER_14: That is nothing but fake news.
- 37:47SPEAKER_14: So let me get into the timeline here just briefly on the show as we continue to discuss uh World War 11.
- 38:01SPEAKER_51: World War 11.
- 38:04SPEAKER_14: So she was born in 82.
- 38:06SPEAKER_14: I'll move through this quickly, by the way.
- 38:07SPEAKER_14: I'm not gonna eyes are gonna start rolling over timelines and dates.
- 38:12SPEAKER_14: This is relevant, though.
- 38:13SPEAKER_14: So she's born in 82, according to the the data.
- 38:17SPEAKER_14: This is where the the date change may have changed, we may have taken place, right?
- 38:21SPEAKER_14: Uh this is according to the congressional biographical records.
- 38:25SPEAKER_14: So in 91, she and her family flee Somalia in the Civil War.
- 38:30SPEAKER_14: It's it's important to note that her father was a colonel under a dictator, a dictatorist regime in Somalia at the time.
- 38:43SPEAKER_14: Did I just make up a word dictatorist?
- 38:44SPEAKER_14: Under a dictator's regime.
- 38:45SPEAKER_14: That's what I wanted to go for.
- 38:48SPEAKER_14: And they lost.
- 38:51SPEAKER_14: So this dude was a full-on Marxist serving in the military under a dictator in the middle of a civil war.
- 38:58SPEAKER_14: That dictator fell and they had to flee.
- 39:01SPEAKER_14: She was not some down on her lucky immigrant.
- 39:04SPEAKER_14: And that's not to say that anybody has painted a picture that way, but it is to say she came from a family of means.
- 39:13SPEAKER_14: For as much as that is relatable to what it's like to be a family of means leaving Somalia.
- 39:20SPEAKER_14: She comes to the United States in 1995 at age twelve after their time spent in Kenya fleeing the Somali Civil War.
- 39:31SPEAKER_14: At age 14, she moves to Minneapolis.
- 39:33SPEAKER_14: Her family settles in Minneapolis in 97.
- 39:35SPEAKER_14: She attends Edison High School, graduates in 2004.
- 39:41SPEAKER_14: Now she became the biological, the biographical records state that she became a naturalized citizen in the U.S.
- 39:47SPEAKER_14: in 2000 at age 17, but this is where the changing of the birth date comes into play.
- 39:53SPEAKER_14: And all of this is important, potentially establishing how she has treated her rise to Congress.
- 40:04SPEAKER_14: So she becomes a citizen at age 17, more than likely based off of what we know now it was 18.
- 40:11SPEAKER_14: Okay, and then at age 33, August of 2016, she wins the Minnesota House DFL primary.
- 40:18SPEAKER_14: I'm gonna get into next hour what happened in between there because that's relevant.
- 40:22SPEAKER_14: She works a little bit at Target, but then she ends up working for all these nutrition programs, all these different nonprofit programs, some of them under her father.
- 40:31SPEAKER_14: So this whole time, right, she's still has contact with her father.
- 40:36SPEAKER_14: Her father is still the figurehead in the household, the Marxist is still guiding the ideology, in my opinion, potentially.
- 40:44SPEAKER_14: Okay, she's elected to the legislature, and then between uh let's see, she runs for Congress in 2018 and wins, and then at age 36, she began serving in Congress.
- 40:57SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 40:58SPEAKER_14: So all of this is relevant when you begin to look at the bigger picture of why Ilhan Omar is the way that she is.
- 41:03SPEAKER_14: She came out of a Marxist family, she was raised in a Marxist family with a father who served as a colonel working under a dictator.
- 41:13SPEAKER_14: And that, in my view, laid the baseline foundation for everything that she did moving forward.
- 41:20SPEAKER_14: And it's especially revealing and interesting when you get into her time in Congress and the legislation she passed that made it easier for individuals to defraud you and me and Devin and everybody else, underfeeding our future.
- 41:36SPEAKER_14: So we'll get to all that coming up uh again.
- 41:39SPEAKER_14: Next hour on the show, 651-964-0294.
- 41:42SPEAKER_14: We're gonna get back to more of uh your thoughts and then we'll move over to a couple other news items.
- 41:46SPEAKER_14: Uh Zachariah assumes role as the GOP, strives to secure Congress.
- 41:52SPEAKER_14: Also, just in time for Halloween, Alpha News has a bizarro story.
- 41:55SPEAKER_14: I'll give you a few of the few of the details.
- 41:57SPEAKER_14: Penny uh Peggy Flanagan's grandfather is suspected in serial killings.
- 42:02SPEAKER_14: I didn't have that one on my bingo card.
- 42:04SPEAKER_14: I'll give you the details coming up in just a moment here on the John Justice show.
- 42:08SPEAKER_14: Presented by American Experiment.
- 42:10SPEAKER_14: Don't go anywhere.
- 42:10SPEAKER_14: If a woman finds out she is pregnant and feels scared and alone, Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 42:18SPEAKER_14: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 42:28SPEAKER_14: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 42:35SPEAKER_14: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 42:42SPEAKER_14: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 42:46SPEAKER_14: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 42:51SPEAKER_34: Was that Ilhan Omar that said World War Eleven?
- 42:55SPEAKER_34: Maybe because of all the wars that the Democrats have waged against President Trump, she thinks that there have been 11 world wars.
- 43:09SPEAKER_14: What's the biggest fear you have about selling your home?
- 43:12SPEAKER_14: What if it doesn't sell, right?
- 43:14SPEAKER_14: That's why upfront cash offers can sound so appealing.
- 43:18SPEAKER_14: But what if you can sell your home without fear and without leaving equity on the table?
- 43:23SPEAKER_14: That's the advisor advantage from Hallway North real estate advisors.
- 43:27SPEAKER_14: Hallway North doesn't just put your home on the market, they help prepare your home, strategically position it, and launch it in a way designed to generate attention and create competition among buyers.

- 43:48SPEAKER_14: That's hallwaynorth.com, brokered by Bridge Realty.
- 43:55SPEAKER_14: Katie Zachariah stepped into her new role as the White House press secretary yesterday.
- 44:00SPEAKER_14: Making her briefing room debut just three weeks before the midterm elections.
- 44:05SPEAKER_14: She replaces Caroline Levitt, which is a tough act to follow.
- 44:12SPEAKER_14: At a crucial moment for the administration, with the White House working to bolster its messaging as Trump and Vice President J.D.
- 44:19SPEAKER_14: Vance campaign nationwide to help Republicans defend their House and Senate majorities.
- 44:24SPEAKER_14: Sources familiar with Zachariah's selection told the Washington Examiner that Trump wanted a strong television advocate who could aggressively defend his policies and help Republicans make their case to voters ahead of November.
- 44:38SPEAKER_14: There's no truth to the rumor that he might have been uh looking for a talk show host who'd recently switched gigs to help fulfill that role, but perhaps he was incredibly happy with the job that he has at a uh at an organization uh and uh therefore couldn't take on the role.
- 44:55SPEAKER_14: I just that's uh that's all made up.
- 44:57SPEAKER_14: None of that happened, by the way, before anybody starts thinking that suddenly I'm gonna be shadow running the Trump campaign.
- 45:02SPEAKER_14: Uh, here's a quick clip uh of uh Zachariah from uh yesterday.
- 45:05SPEAKER_12: But we are also protecting your tax dollars by addressing fraud head on.
- 45:10SPEAKER_12: Since taking office, the Trump administration has uncovered over$260 billion of fraud.
- 45:18SPEAKER_12: Stopped$72 billion of fraud annually through administrative actions, and recovered$58.9 billion through indictments, settlements, and civil monetary penalties.
- 45:33SPEAKER_14: So that was probably a better moment from her yesterday.
- 45:37SPEAKER_14: It was not a great debut.
- 45:38SPEAKER_14: I'm not gonna, you know, I can't.
- 45:40SPEAKER_14: I gotta be honest here.
- 45:42SPEAKER_14: It was not.
- 45:42SPEAKER_14: It was a it was a bit of a rough start.
- 45:44SPEAKER_14: But I also imagine that's a tough gig and a tough crowd, and one that would probably make you nervous.
- 45:49SPEAKER_14: I certainly don't think I could have done a better job than she did.
- 45:51SPEAKER_14: So hopefully they don't um immediately pitch her off because I think there's a lot of potential there.
- 45:57SPEAKER_14: I've seen her commentary.
- 45:58SPEAKER_14: We've played some of it on the show.
- 46:00SPEAKER_14: She's really good uh when it comes to doing the uh the hits um uh on uh on the major news channels.
- 46:06SPEAKER_14: So hopefully she'll do uh she'll do a little bit better.
- 46:09SPEAKER_14: But yesterday was kind of a uh kind of a rough start.
- 46:11SPEAKER_14: Speaking of rough, Cornell University, culture of fear drives this, by the way.
- 46:19SPEAKER_14: Purely a culture of fear.
- 46:20SPEAKER_14: There's no need for Cornell to go and do this in the wake of the Cornell 7 controversy, which is really interesting because it's kind of fallen by the wayside because the woman making the allegation, uh, the allegations as the truth continues to emerge and more people find out, yeah, they're beginning to realize she's she kind of made it all up.
- 46:38SPEAKER_14: At least that's what it seems like.
- 46:40SPEAKER_14: Cornell University, however, has gone and suspended all frat parties and social events for the rest of the academic year.
- 46:51SPEAKER_14: This is all following the allegations of the sexual assault at the fraternity in 2024.
- 46:55SPEAKER_14: The university is working with the New York State Police and the New York Attorney General's office to investigate the allegations, the case has sparked campus protests and calls for change.
- 47:03SPEAKER_14: Listen, if this was driven, um I don't think it was, but if this was if this was driven off of the totality of the story, meaning all the individuals involved engaging in this debauchery that they did, where it seems as if, based off of all the available evidence and the anecdotal stories coming from those surrounding the Cornell 7, it was all consensual, they all agreed to do this, but it ended up creating this nightmare situation that could have been avoided if the dudes could have kept it in their pants, obviously.
- 47:36SPEAKER_14: So if it was about addressing what's taking place and the, for lack of a better way to describe it, I'll use the word again, debauchery on these campuses, okay, I'll give you canceling these frat parties.
- 47:46SPEAKER_14: But if it's a more of a systemic issue, I hope that it's not.
- 47:49SPEAKER_14: That's really gross if it is.
- 47:53SPEAKER_14: But if it's a systemic issue of this group hookie-taw taking place, then yeah, I guess I can see, hey, can we get a grip on this?
- 48:00SPEAKER_14: Um, poor my bad.
- 48:03SPEAKER_14: That was a poor choice of words.
- 48:04SPEAKER_14: I apologize.
- 48:05SPEAKER_14: Let's do a palate cleanser with this uh voice message on the blaster line.
- 48:10SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294.
- 48:12SPEAKER_14: George on the subject Alon Omar.
- 48:14SPEAKER_14: Scott! I feel like we haven't heard from Scott in a while.
- 48:17SPEAKER_14: Friend of the show, Scott! What are we thinking?
- 48:19SPEAKER_14: I know we already heard it a little bit, but he sounds at a three and a half or a four.
- 48:23SPEAKER_14: I'm giving him a four.
- 48:24SPEAKER_14: I'm giving him a four, yeah.
- 48:24SPEAKER_14: He sounds like he's out of the gate.
- 48:25SPEAKER_14: I'll back it up here a little bit.
- 48:26SPEAKER_14: So always great to hear from you, Scott.
- 48:28SPEAKER_17: George on the subject Elon Omar when my son was U14 premier soccer player up to U18.
- 48:37SPEAKER_17: He was on a team that played a team that had some Liberian kids on it that were obviously much older than 14 years old.
- 48:44SPEAKER_17: And there's a huge difference between a 14-year-old abilities and an 18-year-old.
- 48:49SPEAKER_17: And we found that this individual in question had a driver's license and was a senior at South High School.
- 48:55SPEAKER_17: So we brought it to the authorities that would uh rule on he's not ineligible, and they somehow came up with a bogus birth certificate.
- 49:03SPEAKER_17: So everything that's going on with the Ohan is just old ass stuff for these people.
- 49:07SPEAKER_17: Anyway, they can cheat live.
- 49:09SPEAKER_17: It's because the end uh the means justify the end, and I hope to God that they sniff her out and she is kicked out of office.
- 49:16SPEAKER_17: What a joke.
- 49:19SPEAKER_14: It is a uh fascinating situation and one that uh I cannot wait to see what the results end up uh end up being.
- 49:28SPEAKER_14: When you talk about this frustration, and I get it, and I share in it, this frustration of people not being held accountable, especially in Congress, specifically in Congress, and the chance here that Ilhan Omar may have been engaged in criminal activity and she ends up getting held accountable.
- 49:49SPEAKER_14: I mean, you want to talk about just going for the going for the big one right out of the gate.
- 49:52SPEAKER_14: I this would this would be huge.
- 49:55SPEAKER_14: One of the one of the unintended consequences of this, it's not quite emerged yet, but I see it emerging.
- 50:03SPEAKER_14: So two things that you probably only hear on the show.
- 50:06SPEAKER_14: One, I'm gonna continue asking the question of where she is until she shows back up in public again.
- 50:11SPEAKER_14: Because, like I said, if this is a cut and dry case and she knows it, does she stick around?
- 50:15SPEAKER_14: I mean, honestly.
- 50:17SPEAKER_14: Is she gonna stick around the United States to face being denaturalized and booted out of Congress?
- 50:21SPEAKER_14: And then what happens then?
- 50:23SPEAKER_14: Okay, so just want to put that out there.
- 50:26SPEAKER_14: But the other part to this, I don't think she's that popular.
- 50:31SPEAKER_14: I think that's gonna be the the the secondary takeaway amid all of these allegations, the investigation, and whatever a potential indictment brings.
- 50:42SPEAKER_14: I don't think that people like her all that much.
- 50:45SPEAKER_14: Excuse me.
- 50:46SPEAKER_14: I don't think people like her all that much.
- 50:48SPEAKER_14: And I think that's what you're gonna end up seeing.
- 50:51SPEAKER_14: That she's not really all that popular.
- 50:53SPEAKER_14: She hasn't really done a whole heck of a lot.
- 50:56SPEAKER_14: Probably has caused more problems for Democrats and she has benefits for Democrats.
- 51:01SPEAKER_14: I mean, look at the base of supporters that showed up for her earlier this week.
- 51:06SPEAKER_14: Your typical who's a who of your, you know, your senior citizen hippies, you know, looking desperately to latch on to that in their youth.
- 51:18SPEAKER_14: I mean, much in the same way that I wear my Doc Martins and my DePesh mode t-shirts for crying out loud.
- 51:24SPEAKER_14: Just being honest.
- 51:26SPEAKER_14: I really don't think that she's all that popular.
- 51:29SPEAKER_14: Even though she wins in her district, I don't think she's all that popular in her district uh either.
- 51:34SPEAKER_20: Good morning, John.
- 51:35SPEAKER_20: Bob from Lake Elmo.
- 51:36SPEAKER_20: I'm actually in DC this morning.
- 51:38SPEAKER_20: Um doing math based on the date she put, 2004 graduation from high school.
- 51:44SPEAKER_20: If she was born in 81, that makes her 23 years old graduating from high school.
- 51:50SPEAKER_20: Just saying, that's a little old.
- 51:53SPEAKER_14: Well, again, according to the official records, it was 82.
- 51:58SPEAKER_14: But they may have gone and changed that.
- 52:02SPEAKER_14: So thank you for the comment.
- 52:03SPEAKER_14: I appreciate it.
- 52:04SPEAKER_14: All right.
- 52:05SPEAKER_14: Uh let's see.
- 52:07SPEAKER_14: Somebody wrote in debauchery on the woman's part two.
- 52:10SPEAKER_14: It sounds like she was more than willing to toss her legs up and into different uh zip codes.
- 52:14SPEAKER_14: No, absolutely, it was debauchery on all the Cornell Sevens part.
- 52:17SPEAKER_14: Don't misunderstand.
- 52:18SPEAKER_14: Wait, now I'm gonna get now I'm gonna catch heat for not being hard enough on the woman, where last time I caught heat for being too hard on the woman.
- 52:26SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 52:27SPEAKER_14: I know, I know you weren't.
- 52:28SPEAKER_14: Don't misunderstand.
- 52:30SPEAKER_14: Thank you for the comment.
- 52:32SPEAKER_14: All right, just briefly because it's weird, newly uncovered records reveal that Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan's maternal grandfather, John Jacob Hartman, spent over 30 years in mental hospitals and was suspected in four murders across multiple states.
- 52:52SPEAKER_14: Despite being labeled a mass murderer by a federal judge and escaping custody, Hartman was never charged with any murders.
- 52:59SPEAKER_14: His history included a threat against a federal judge, and that remained largely unknown until now.
- 53:05SPEAKER_14: Now, obviously, this has no direct connection apart from the lineage to Peggy Flanagan, her campaign, and her run against Michelle Tefoya.
- 53:15SPEAKER_14: I just find the story interesting since we're in the middle of the spooky season.
- 53:20unknown: Right?
- 53:21SPEAKER_14: You can get those spooky mini-leaf tonics.
- 53:23SPEAKER_14: There's no booze at minileaf.com, by the way.
- 53:26SPEAKER_14: It reminds me though, uh, Devin, uh, have you seen the movie A Hitch with Eva Mendez and Will Smith?
- 53:32SPEAKER_33: Yes, I have.
- 53:33SPEAKER_14: Okay, so remember when he goes on the first date and they get on the jet skis on the Hudson, and then he takes her over to Ellis Island, and then the book is there of individuals who came in and they sign the book and it's under glass, and he ends up finding the relative and thinking, oh, this is gonna be great.
- 53:49SPEAKER_14: She talked about this great, great relative who immigrated here to the country.
- 53:53SPEAKER_14: Uh, and uh, and now he's gonna show where she signed the book, and then she flips out because it turns out that uh she called him the butcher.
- 54:00SPEAKER_14: Will Smith thought that he just served deli meat in a in a in a in a in a butcher's office or a butcher store, but it turns out no, he was actually a serial, a serial killer.
- 54:10SPEAKER_14: Funny movie.
- 54:11SPEAKER_14: Yeah, last great one of the last great romantic comedies, by the way.
- 54:14SPEAKER_14: They kind of went downhill after that.
- 54:16SPEAKER_14: We just watched it recently.
- 54:17SPEAKER_14: That's what this reminds me of.
- 54:18SPEAKER_14: So I if you want to read the whole story, man, it's a fun read.
- 54:21SPEAKER_14: Over at uh alpha news uh.org.
- 54:24SPEAKER_14: Alphanews uh.org is where you can go and uh find that.
- 54:26SPEAKER_14: Again, Peggy Flanagan's grandfather, suspected in serial killings, ended up spending decades in mental hospitals.
- 54:33SPEAKER_14: Not a reflection on Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan.
- 54:37SPEAKER_14: Just want to point that out.
- 54:38SPEAKER_14: Uh let's see.
- 54:40SPEAKER_14: Uh somebody says, one question I have regarding Omar, if she's denaturalized and deported, or if she uh left the states and went into hiding, uh, did her current husband go with her?
- 54:50SPEAKER_14: No, as we start, as we talked about at the start of the show, Tim Minette was seen yesterday uh outside of her home.
- 54:56SPEAKER_14: Ilhan Omar has not been, I don't know when the last time she was actually seen.
- 55:01SPEAKER_14: Since the raid, she hasn't been seen in public at all.
- 55:03SPEAKER_14: There were some eyewitnesses who said they saw her speeding away from her home within like 20 minutes to a half hour before the raid began.
- 55:12SPEAKER_14: So potentially she might have been uh uh tipped uh tipped off.
- 55:17SPEAKER_14: Uh somebody wrote in uh when it comes to Peggy Flanagan, the rotten apple don't fall far from the tree.
- 55:21SPEAKER_14: Now again, that's a couple of people removed.
- 55:24SPEAKER_14: I just think the correlation there is rather is rather interesting.
- 55:27SPEAKER_14: All right, let's get back to some of your thoughts.
- 55:29SPEAKER_14: 651-964-02 uh 94.
- 55:35SPEAKER_14: And uh let's go to my apologies.
- 55:40SPEAKER_14: Uh let's go here.
- 55:43SPEAKER_38: Hi, Jen.
- 55:43SPEAKER_38: I've got a legit question here.
- 55:46SPEAKER_38: If Ilan Omar is found to be illegal and illegally here, which means she has been serving as a congressman illegally, how can everything that she signed or proposed, whatever, how can any of that be legal?
- 56:07SPEAKER_38: And what are the ramifications of that?
- 56:09SPEAKER_38: How do we reverse everything that she did if she's totally illegal?
- 56:15SPEAKER_14: So I don't know, I don't know the specific answers to your question regarding, let's just say, for the sake of argument, she's indicted, that she committed immigration fraud, that she's never officially been a citizen of the United States, and therefore she's removed from Congress and the impact that it has.
- 56:35SPEAKER_14: I don't know the specific details.
- 56:38SPEAKER_14: I will look into that.
- 56:39SPEAKER_14: I do have this clip, however, that might shed a little bit of light.
- 56:43SPEAKER_14: So, um, legal expert of whom I have a tremendous amount of respect for, uh, Jonathan Turley, uh, was on with Laura Ingram uh last uh last night and had uh this to say.
- 56:59SPEAKER_40: Uh, you know, the the the government has often repeats uh almost as a mantra that you can have an innocent mistake and still have a material uh misrepresentation that led to your getting citizenship uh when you shouldn't have had it.
- 57:17SPEAKER_40: So if if there is something in those forms where you would not have been given citizenship had it not been incorrectly stated or had been or information withheld, then yeah, you could be indeed naturalized.
- 57:30SPEAKER_40: So the standard is high, but also we're talking about very clear facts that are true or they are not.
- 57:36SPEAKER_40: The second ground, of course, is indeed yes, go ahead.
- 57:39SPEAKER_40: Go ahead.
- 57:39SPEAKER_40: No, go ahead.
- 57:40SPEAKER_40: Second ground, of course, is indeed concealment and yeah, a a material misr uh misrepresentation, it's a separate ground.
- 57:49SPEAKER_40: Um they are in addition to looking at immigration status, the warrant apparently refers also to a conspiracy, which is the darling of prosecutors, and that may be referring to what they allege to be uh a knowing effort to conceal these facts.
- 58:05SPEAKER_40: Now, Laura, the key here is that that Omar's actually greater at greater risk in terms of legal complications because she is uh a member of Congress and has been a candidate for office.
- 58:18SPEAKER_40: That status requires her to fill out forms on a regular basis that may make reference to uh some of these facts.
- 58:26SPEAKER_40: And so that exposes her to possible charges.
- 58:29SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I mean again, it's an extreme remedy, but we know the Trump administration is taking serious seriously the matter of examining the immigration status, usually focusing on visas, people who have visas or been here on visas.
- 58:45SPEAKER_05: But I mean they're they're serious about this.
- 58:48SPEAKER_05: And of course, everybody knows what I'm talking about.
- 58:51SPEAKER_05: The you know, the reports that you know she allegedly married her brother.
- 58:54SPEAKER_05: She she's essentially denied that, uh, but without you know a ton of specificity.
- 59:00SPEAKER_05: Um but then maybe there's something else completely different.
- 59:03SPEAKER_14: We don't thank you uh for the comments again, Jonathan Churley on Laura Ingram uh last night.
- 59:10SPEAKER_14: Continue to get your voice and text messages in to the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 59:17SPEAKER_14: All right, I want to spend a little bit of time talking about education.
- 59:20SPEAKER_14: We're gonna get back into this issue with Ilhan Omar, so don't worry, we're not gonna move too far from there.
- 59:24SPEAKER_14: We'll be talking with uh her challenger in her district here in Minneapolis.
- 59:30SPEAKER_14: Uh John Nagel will be joining us at 730 this morning.
- 59:33SPEAKER_14: I do have a couple of school-related items to get to.
- 59:36SPEAKER_14: Let me just start with this story.
- 59:37SPEAKER_14: I've had it for a few days, and I just wanted to share it with you because uh it's another great example of just the problems that we're faced with within our public education system.
- 59:46SPEAKER_14: A 23-year-old Amy Jones, who was reportedly bored, so she walked into the Rufus King High School in Wisconsin, told staff that she was a substitute.
- 59:56SPEAKER_14: The school believed her and then assigned her a class.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_11: This morning, a Wisconsin woman is accused of posing as a substitute teacher and making lewd and disturbing comments to students.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_11: Amy Jones is charged with six felonies after authorities say she walked into this Milwaukee high school and told the office staff she was a sub.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_11: She was then assigned to a class, where students say she used profane language, racial slurs, and organized students by race and gender in the class.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_11: According to the complaint, she told one boy he was fat, told others they were the types of people to have incest, and told one girl she would either become a stripper or a hooker.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_09: This case is very concerning as a parent.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_09: Um certainly, you know, we send our kids to school, expecting them to be um safe and not exposed to um harm.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_09: Jones was removed.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_14: Can I just just real quick, I know it we're entering into the second hour of the show for a Wednesday.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_14: Thank you so much for joining the John Justice show.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_14: We're gonna talk a little education, we're gonna get back to the issue of the Ilhan Omar investigation as we continue to continue our deep dive into what this all uh me uh may mean.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_14: But this story about this Wisconsin woman who pretended to be a schoolteacher, and then she would call the kids fat and separate them by race.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_14: Listen, it's all awful, don't misunderstand.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_14: But at the same time, I mean, this really isn't all that far removed from the propaganda and indoctrination that takes place from the, you know, LGBTQ mafia in the schools.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_14: And I mean, she's basically just playing the role as a teacher the way that unfortunately too many teachers are treating their positions legitimately.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_14: If you're a teacher and you do not fall into the category of what I'm talking about right now, I'm not talking about you.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_14: You're a good teacher.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_14: I'm talking about those other teachers and you know who they are.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_03: This Jones manages bipolar disorder and was experiencing an acute manic episode.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_11: The principal says the staff did not follow protocol, and the school is in the process of reviewing our safeguards.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_11: If convicted, Jones could face 20 years in prison.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_14: Oof.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_14: Who I doubt that's gonna happen.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_14: Got a text to the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_14: I think of School of Rock about faking being a sub.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_14: Yeah, it's a decent flip.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_14: We'll officially make it hour two for a Wednesday here on the John Justice Show at 7.30 this morning.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_14: We'll be joined online, and you can watch via Center of the American Experiments, Facebook, and YouTube.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_14: Also on my X feed as well.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_14: Listen live on the Mix LR app.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_14: John Nagel running against Ilhan Omar in her district will be joining us here on the show.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_14: Curious to get his thoughts on all this controversy surrounding her.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_14: Subpoenas went out for members of Ilhan Omar's family yesterday.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_14: We'll revisit that story later on this hour.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_14: As also, news broke overnight, New York Post reporting that allegations are that Ilhan Omar's staff, which may lend credibility to this potential RICO conspiracy charge that people have been talking about, her congressional staff may have changed her birth date to make her underage at the time when she gained her citizenship status when in reality she was an adult and could not legally become a citizen of the United States.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_14: And this, of course, would end up resulting in her being ineligible to have served in office.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_14: We had a uh comment, a question that rolled in asking okay, if she is denaturalized, deported, no longer serving in Congress, what does it mean for everything that she has signed off on?
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_14: I have a comment that came into the blaster line addressing that particular issue.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_24: Hey, good morning, John.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_24: Uh, regarding the one uh blaster, he's asking about all the laws that she helped pass.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_24: Well, you have to prove that she was the deciding vote.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_24: She's not the only voter in Congress.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_24: So not much could ever be done regarding those laws that were passed.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_14: That was my thought as well.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_14: I just didn't want to speak out of turn.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_14: My my assumption was that she wasn't the only individual that was voting on these particular issues, and therefore it's not like it's gonna go and and negate it.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_14: It's not like uh Joe Biden and the autopen, right?
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_14: Where it's just she's the singular one signing off on these particular uh issues.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_14: She's helped pass them.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_24: Simple enough.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_24: She'd have to be the deciding vote.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_14: Uh thank you so much for the comment.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_14: Uh greatly uh greatly appreciate it.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_14: Keep those comments uh rolling in to 651-964-0294.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_14: Somebody left a comment saying you can shoot up a high school football game and be released on bond, but face 20 years in prison for pretending to be a substitute teacher.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_14: Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_14: That ICE officer was in court yesterday explaining how he felt like he was under threat in the middle of Operation Surge as they were heading back to the Whipple Federal building.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_14: He ended up being boxed in by vehicles, didn't know what to expect, and brandished his firearm.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_14: Um Scary Moriarty, Hennepin County attorney and social justice religious zealot that she is, ended up charging him with the same charge.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_14: I should go the other way.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_14: The dude that pulled the firearm at Eden Prairie High School, part of the Somali gang issue, he got charged the same thing that the law enforcement officer, the ICE agent, did for just brandishing this weapon, but the other dude actually pulled this weapon out.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_14: Fired it.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_14: Yeah, so make that make sense.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_14: Also, um, now is a good time to uh let you know that Eden Prairie Schools is implementing heightened uh security safety measures ahead of the rescheduled uh homecoming game.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_14: Apparently, now you need an ID.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_14: And and and that and that convenient.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_14: Mm-hmm.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_14: Funny how that uh funny how that happens, huh?
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_14: All right.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_14: As I mentioned earlier, in a reversal, Minneapolis Public Schools superintendent says the district should not close schools.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_14: Dr.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_14: Lisa Sayles Adams announced a reversal of the district's recommendation to close the schools following overwhelming public opposition.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_14: Of course, there's going to be public opposition.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_14: People don't want to be inconvenienced, they don't want to have to send their kids to another school.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_14: Too bad, so sad.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_14: They need to get upset at the horrible education system, education Minnesota, and the fact that this the education the kids are getting is awful.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_14: They're not showing up to school, proficiency is down, chaos in the classroom, they can't rein things in.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_14: So they need to cut the budget.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_14: Some of these schools need to be combined.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_14: Oh, can't make the voters upset, especially before the midterms.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_14: Now the district is going to focus on enrollment growth.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_14: Good luck.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_14: Expanding early childhood programs.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_14: Again, good luck.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_14: And refining school choice policies.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_14: I'll believe it when I see it.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_14: The superintendent acknowledged the need to address the 40 million budget deficit, emphasize the importance of community involvement and enrollment in funding efforts.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_14: One of our economist fellows here, policy fellows at American Experiment, Martha Najola Mole, has a piece up regarding something we covered on Monday's show.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_14: So you will decide whether the state should draw more money from the permanent school fund to increase the per pupil aid to schools.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_14: Martha writes In addition to the general fund, the state's primary operating fund, the Minnesota Public Schools, have historically received funding from a trust fund.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_14: The trust, as Catherine Wigfall explains, is funded by revenue from mining and timber production on lands federally granted to the state in 1858.
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_14: If the constitutional amendment passes, annual distributions will rise to 4.5% of the fund's market valuation.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_14: The fund itself is valued to be at$2.3 billion.
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_14: So this would have been an increase in per pupil spending across the board.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_14: Now, so far the discussions around the amendment have largely ignored the state's deteriorating fiscal outlook, likely because, as currently structured, the trust is entirely separate from the general fund and operates as extra funding for public schools.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_14: Minnesota's general fund budget, however, has operated on a structural deficit each year since 2024.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_14: E through 12 education and health and human services are the state's two largest expenditures, taking up over 70% of the budget and the two areas likely to deliver the necessary savings to close the deficit.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_14: The permanent school fund could serve as a buffer for general fund spending cuts on E through 12 education in 2027.
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_14: But this will require that the trust remains solvent long term.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_14: And that's a difficult task to accomplish, writes Martha, if the constitutional amendment passes.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_14: For one, raising the annual distribution to 4.5% of the fund's valuation could eat into the principle, draining the trust over time more immediately.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_14: It means no reserve option, just as lawmakers head into what will likely be a brutal 2027 budget season.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_14: So, worst of all, the allure of the extra funds might stall necessary spending reforms required to achieve long-term fiscal stability for both schools and the state.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_14: So the headline reads to make it simple, the school funding amendment could put legislators in a budget bind.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_14: When I talked about it earlier in the week, this was the part where my spidey senses were tingling with concern over this.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_14: And that was what does this do to help the broader picture of the fiscal shortfalls that public education is currently dealing with here in Minnesota?
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_14: And as I suspected, it would basically be part of a stopgap that may temporarily go and fix doing that thing with my fingers.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_14: More appropriate, put a band-aid on the problem, but it may still continue to bleed out once that band-aid becomes saturated, to use a gross analogy.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_14: So all that is to say, use that information however you wish, regarding what you do in terms of voting for that particular uh ballot uh measure.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_14: All right.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_14: Uh coming up, Minneapolis City Councilors propose eliminating the Office of Community Safety.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_14: I'll give you details a little bit later on in the show on that.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_14: I do want to return back over to the big topic of the day ahead of my conversation with John Nagel uh running in CD5.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_14: Uh the Justice Department, as we mentioned, did issue subpoenas for members of Representative Ilhan Omar's family as part of the investigation into what we believe is her immigration history.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_14: I have more uh audio to share and audio from individuals who, going back to 2019, were laying out exactly what we believe and what the New York Post reported yesterday regarding the allegations that Ilhan Omar's staff changed her birth date to make her underage at the time she gained her citizenship, wherein she may not have been legally able to become a citizen.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_14: So we'll give you details on that coming up on the show.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_14: We'll get to more of your thoughts if you want to email john.justice at americanexperiment.org.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_14: I want to remind you that if you're carrying around the extra weight, right?
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_14: If you're on medication, tired all the time, listen up.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_14: That was the situation with me.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_14: I've gone through the yo-yo dieting, you know, ever since I started putting on weight as I got older.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_14: The problem has been solved for me with this amazing program from Nutrimost.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_14: It's just real food.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_14: There's no shots, there's no gimmicks, no pills.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_14: It is a smarter approach to weight loss.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_14: Dr.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_14: Bob, fantastic dude.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_14: Listen, it's worth it just to call and talk to Dr.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_14: Bob.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_14: The dude's amazing, right?
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_14: Your body may be telling you a story that the scale's not revealing to you.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_14: That's where this free truth metabolic scan comes into play.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_14: See your body fat, your metabolic age, your muscle mass.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_14: This helps tailor the program specifically for you.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_14: That's what happened for me.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_14: I lost 35 pounds.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_14: I finished my rounds on the program, and I am keeping the weight off.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_14: That scale has not budged.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_14: As a matter of fact, I've actually dropped a few more pounds because my eating habits have gotten better.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_14: Dr.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_14: Bob at NutraWave is tossing in a free red light therapy session as well.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_14: Do not wait.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_14: Take action now and call just to get in on the free metabolic session and the red light therapy session, just for finding out about the program.
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_14: It really is that simple.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_14: Give Dr.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_14: Bob a call today.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_14: Mention my name, John Justice, when you call 952-260-1965.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_14: That's 952-260-1965 for Neutrawave, NeutroWave, any dynamic, neutrawave.us.
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_14: No pills, no shots.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_14: There is nothing else like it.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_14: Neutrawave.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_14: Head on over and find it out for yourself.
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294 is a blaster line.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_14: We'll get back to more of your thoughts in just a moment here on the John Justice show.
- 1:13:43SPEAKER_04: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 1:13:49SPEAKER_04: I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_04: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_04: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Test scores for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_04: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 1:14:17SPEAKER_04: So, how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_04: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of school board and administrative accountability.
- 1:14:30SPEAKER_04: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_04: Go to the blog section of my website, reelectjoe scott.com and eccsmcascores.com.
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_14: If a woman finds out she is pregnant and feels scared and alone, Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_14: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_14: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_14: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_14: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_14: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_14: Six five one nine six four zero two nine four.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_14: That is the number for the blaster line.
- 1:15:31SPEAKER_14: If you'd like to leave us a comment at any point throughout the show uh this morning, I got a comment.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_14: This just rolled in.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_14: Uh good morning, John.
- 1:15:39SPEAKER_14: Great show as always.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_14: Thank you.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_14: Hey, I didn't get us so far.
- 1:15:43unknown: Cool.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_14: Must be doing better.
- 1:15:45SPEAKER_14: About Ilhan Omar, I had a thought.
- 1:15:47SPEAKER_14: It's always said that the worst thing is not a crime, it's the cover-up.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_14: It is probably likely that somebody in the Democrat leadership knew about her situation, the truth of it, and deliberately covered it up for the good of the Democrat Party.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_14: That would make this into a much larger investigation.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_14: It could even just be the tip of the iceberg.
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_14: It leads to signs of other corruption and bringing things to light.
- 1:16:09SPEAKER_14: And that's why I wanted to get into some of the details of the background of Ilhan Omar, what she did between her time in high school and entering into the legislature here, because it's all very revealing to me.
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_14: If this, again, a lot of speculation, a lot of ifs, okay, just making sure that we're clear on that.
- 1:16:29SPEAKER_14: But if it turns out that there was uh a crime committed here, immigration fraud, backdating of birthdays, and all of this, and she is denaturalized for some reason, it really does throw a wrench into the arguments that the left has been attempting to use when justifying the um allowing of illegal aliens in the country.
- 1:16:54SPEAKER_14: It throws that whole thing into light.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_14: Like obviously the no one is above the law aspect, but the left it the left wants to take advantage of illegal aliens being in the country, giving them eligibility to vote, and therefore continuing to win elections down the line.
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_14: That's the whole goal.
- 1:17:10SPEAKER_14: They're not even trying to hide it.
- 1:17:11SPEAKER_14: They've said as much for crying out loud.
- 1:17:14SPEAKER_14: So, because of that, I, you know, it's pretty clear to me the left's not gonna care if Ilhan Omar went and backdated anything to change that status, and she wasn't essentially uh legal in the position that she's in.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_14: They're not gonna give a rip.
- 1:17:27SPEAKER_14: However, it would go and expose it to a much bigger audience, this particular issue, and bringing it further into light.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_14: Another reason why you see so much downplaying of this and the attempts to go and say, oh, this is Trump just abusing his federal authority.
- 1:17:46SPEAKER_14: Yeah, there's a lot of dominoes that are going to fall that we haven't even considered yet, if she actually is held fully accountable uh to the law.
- 1:17:55SPEAKER_14: But again, that's a big if.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_14: You don't want any big ifs when it comes to getting service for your home.
- 1:18:02SPEAKER_14: You want to make sure you go with a company that you can trust.
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_14: You definitely uh do not want to go uh with a uh with a company like what we heard over the weekend with uh SNL and that amazing bit with uh Shane Gillis, who took heat for his commentary.
- 1:18:17SPEAKER_14: I didn't even watch it.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_14: There's so much other stuff going on.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_14: I haven't been able to consume a lot of pop culture as of late.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_14: Listen, Ericsson Plumbing, heating, air, and electrical, this is the group that you can go and absolutely trust.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_14: For 43 years, they've been proudly serving the community with friendly, professional, and first class service.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_14: Their experienced team handles everything from plumbing HVAC to electrical work, delivering dependable solutions that you can trust.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_14: When you need reliable local professionals, call the team that I trust, that your neighbors trust, that my uh potential lieutenant governor, if I ever ran for governor of Minnesota, which I won't, uh, Catherine Johnson, she trusted them as well.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_14: iHeartexon.com, that's the website, or give them a call today, 763-783-4545.
- 1:19:01SPEAKER_14: That's 763-783-4545 for Ericsson, plumbing, heating, air, and electrical.
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_14: More of your comments coming up in just a moment here on the John Justice Show.
- 1:19:10SPEAKER_14: What's the biggest fear you have about selling your home?
- 1:19:12SPEAKER_14: What if it doesn't sell, right?
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_14: That's why upfront cash offers can sound so appealing.
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_14: But what if you can sell your home without fear and without leaving equity on the table?
- 1:19:23SPEAKER_14: That's the advisor advantage from Hallway North real estate advisors.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_14: Hallway North doesn't just put your home on the market, they help prepare your home, strategically position it, and launch it in a way designed to generate attention and create competition among buyers.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_14: Now you have options like better offers, terms, and more equity for you.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_14: Get your free one-on-one consultation at hallwaynorth.com.
- 1:19:48SPEAKER_14: That's hallwaynorth.com, brokered by Bridge Realty.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_14: I want to play some audio as we dive into these subpoenas for Omar's relatives, an escalation of the long-running probe.
- 1:20:01SPEAKER_14: And again, this probe goes back to the Biden administration.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_14: Trump may not have even been aware of this.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_14: J.D.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_14: Vance said that he was not aware that HSI was going to go in and raid Ilhan Omar's home.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_14: So there is all the evidence pointing to the fact that this was not directed by President Donald Trump, which you cannot say about what was done to uh Trump when Joe Biden was in office.
- 1:20:25SPEAKER_14: Uh yesterday on Fox News, the House Oversight uh chairman James Comer uh talking about the possibility of Omar facing denaturalization.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_39: It's very impolite to talk about a woman's age.
- 1:20:36SPEAKER_39: Uh you've probably gotten in trouble for it.
- 1:20:38SPEAKER_39: I know I've gotten in trouble for it, but the age factor is an issue when it comes to could she have been a legit refugee, did she lie to the government?
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_39: And if she did, and she was overage, she could be denaturalized.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_39: Can a denaturalized person serve in Congress?
- 1:20:59SPEAKER_41: Absolutely not.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_41: And uh, you know, you she's trying to say she lied on her financial disclosure form.
- 1:21:05SPEAKER_41: And in a$30 million error, Jesse, that's not a common thing.
- 1:21:09SPEAKER_41: And now she's said they've made a mistake on her birth date.
- 1:21:13SPEAKER_41: I mean, none of this stuff makes sense.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_41: There's so much smoke with Representative Omar and her family and the congressional district that she represents.
- 1:21:22SPEAKER_41: Uh this is the biggest fraud scandal in Minnesota.
- 1:21:24SPEAKER_41: And the Minnesota uh oversight committee and the state legislature, they've been investigating this for a long time.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_41: They've passed information to us on the House Oversight Committee in Congress.
- 1:21:34SPEAKER_41: We pass it to the uh Department of Justice.
- 1:21:37SPEAKER_41: I think we're finally going to see some accountability here, and at the very least, we're gonna see a lot of questions answered about a woman who had a$30 million mistake on her financial disclosure form who went from$30 million to zero uh in one year.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_41: Also someone who's uh potentially lied on her birthday, and a lot of questions about how her brother came over here and became a citizen.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_41: So all of these questions that we've been asking for years, I think we're we're very near to getting answers.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_41: And I applaud uh Mark Wayne Mullen uh and I applaud uh the Todd Blanchett, the Department of Justice because uh no one's above the law, not even a member of Congress.
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_14: Yeah, as they said, no one's above Fox News last night and James Comer, foe of the show Phil, for those of you who are longtime listeners.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_14: Foe of the show, Phil's back, not on the blaster line yet.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_14: Maybe he doesn't have a phone right now.
- 1:22:27SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294 Phil.
- 1:22:30SPEAKER_14: Uh he does uh have an X account, though, and I'm looking at it right now.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_14: So uh in response to a post that I had regarding the latest news from the New York Post that her staff, Ilhan Omar, allegedly changed her birth date to make sure that it reflected she was underage at the time when she gained her citizenship status, as opposed to what most people believe, and I'll give you the evidence here in just a moment that she was actually an adult and ineligible to become a citizen.
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_14: That's what this whole controversy is uh is about.
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_14: Phil apparently has the inside track.
- 1:23:03SPEAKER_14: She is a citizen, rights Phil.
- 1:23:04SPEAKER_14: Oh, well, I guess this is all for nothing.
- 1:23:07SPEAKER_14: You should go and contact the federal government and HSI and the DOJ and let them know that they're just wasting their time.
- 1:23:12SPEAKER_14: She says her staff allegedly made a mistake.
- 1:23:15SPEAKER_14: Oh, they just made a mistake.
- 1:23:17SPEAKER_14: Phil has all the answers and they corrected it.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_14: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_14: I'm just wasting all my time here talking about it on the show.
- 1:23:23SPEAKER_14: Every single other news channel, news outlet, regardless of their bias or not, apparently all wasting their time because Phil has the inside track.
- 1:23:31SPEAKER_14: Talk about um depositing the Justice Department.
- 1:23:36SPEAKER_14: That's what it says, depositing the Justice Department.
- 1:23:39SPEAKER_14: Let's look at Melania's parents, M-A-L-A-N-I-A-S parents, and how they got here.
- 1:23:47SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 1:23:48SPEAKER_14: Melania, although he spells it right the second time.
- 1:23:51SPEAKER_14: He goes on to say, Melania herself has questions about her paperwork, remember?
- 1:23:55SPEAKER_14: Yeah, uh Melania is the first lady.
- 1:23:58SPEAKER_14: Uh I don't know about any questions regarding her citizenship, but she's also, you know, not serving in Congress, Phil.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_14: Just wanted to uh point that out.
- 1:24:07SPEAKER_14: But Phil apparently has all the answers, guys.
- 1:24:09SPEAKER_14: So, you know.
- 1:24:12SPEAKER_14: I guess we're all just wasting our time.
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_14: So Benny Johnson, uh, Liz Collin went on Benny Johnson's show yesterday.
- 1:24:19SPEAKER_14: I have some audio to share.
- 1:24:20SPEAKER_14: He also did a deep dive into this uh E Street Crew winery that there's been all this controversy about.
- 1:24:30SPEAKER_14: This is allegedly owned by Ilhan Omar and uh her husband who left his wife and kids after making a shocking declaration of love to Ilhan Omar.
- 1:24:40SPEAKER_14: Uh, he went to the winery's website and uh unsurprisingly, you can't even buy wine from there.
- 1:24:45SPEAKER_14: When you look at her financial records, like one year they made like no money.
- 1:24:49SPEAKER_14: It looks like they lost money.
- 1:24:50SPEAKER_14: She maybe made like a hundred bucks.
- 1:24:52SPEAKER_14: And then the following year, yeah, she's making like a hundred thousand.
- 1:24:57SPEAKER_14: The business itself was worth worth like thirty million, and yet when you go to the website, you can't even see where you would go and purchase any wine.
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_14: It all screamed the fraud that we've dealt with here in Minnesota, services billed for, but never provided, fake websites, false you know, documentation in order to receive Medicaid funding.
- 1:25:23SPEAKER_14: The mechanisms for the fraud are different.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_14: But I'm looking at Benny Johnson going through all this information, and I'm going, wow, this all just looks like the same way that the fraud was gamed out here in uh in Minnesota.
- 1:25:36SPEAKER_14: To that point, here's what Liz Collin uh had to say on uh with Benny Johnson yesterday.
- 1:25:43SPEAKER_14: And she's gonna be referencing, and I have the audio, a guest that she recently had on her show, AJ Kern.
- 1:25:48SPEAKER_14: AJ Kern, who's a friend of the show, is an individual who's tracked, going back to 2019, this very issue about the changing of the birth date that is now coming under scrutiny.
- 1:26:00SPEAKER_14: Here's Liz Collin uh yesterday from Alpha News on Benny Johnson's show.
- 1:26:04SPEAKER_06: But it very much appears, Benny, that Ilhan Omar changed her birth year.
- 1:26:09SPEAKER_06: And this is a story we've been tackling uh for quite some time at Alpha News as well.
- 1:26:12SPEAKER_06: So why would that be?
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_14: And again, I guess I should probably let Phil know.
- 1:26:17SPEAKER_14: Phil, you should reach out to Liz Collin and let her know she's wasting her time with this since you have all the answers.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_14: Just want to point that out.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_06: So months ago, uh, I interviewed a former congressional candidate.
- 1:26:25SPEAKER_06: Uh, she acted as kind of a whistleblower in all of this.
- 1:26:27SPEAKER_06: AJ Kern is her name.
- 1:26:29SPEAKER_06: She went into great detail how Omar has repeatedly claimed, and you'll see this in stories back in the day, that she became a citizen at the age of 17.
- 1:26:38SPEAKER_06: But based on public records, Omar was actually 18 in the year 2000 when her father became eligible to apply for citizenship.
- 1:26:47SPEAKER_06: So Omar would not have been a minor uh when her father applied to be a citizen.
- 1:26:52SPEAKER_06: So you have Representative Omar changing her birth year.
- 1:26:55SPEAKER_06: And again, this is all online uh on certain records.
- 1:26:58SPEAKER_06: You actually see it.
- 1:26:59SPEAKER_06: There's a video that goes out exposing all of this.
- 1:27:02SPEAKER_06: Two days later, her congressional staff contacted uh the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library, this is back in 2019, to change the congresswoman's date of birth from October 4th, 1981 to October 4th, 1982.
- 1:27:16SPEAKER_06: And we've reviewed those screenshots and records as well.
- 1:27:18SPEAKER_06: And and again, these are things that you can uh obtain uh online.
- 1:27:22SPEAKER_06: The question of is she even is she even a U.S.
- 1:27:24SPEAKER_06: citizen?
- 1:27:25SPEAKER_06: If she's if she's saying that all along she obtained her citizenship um as a minor, um that's how she was telling her her own citizenship story.
- 1:27:34SPEAKER_06: But if she's 18 at the time, she would not have been eligible because she would have been uh an adult um at that time and would not have been able to attain uh U.S.
- 1:27:41SPEAKER_06: citizenship under her her father.
- 1:27:43SPEAKER_06: And I think this is an even bigger uh issue as well.
- 1:27:46SPEAKER_06: And I think some people are are starting to kind of go there.
- 1:27:49SPEAKER_06: Um But we did a three part documentary.
- 1:27:52SPEAKER_06: Um I'll put that on my on my ex page as well.
- 1:27:54SPEAKER_06: It's three different parts that really that did a um, I think a really good job hearing from people kind.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_06: From all walks of life that have done this work.
- 1:28:01SPEAKER_06: This was really an independent media collaboration back in 2019.
- 1:28:06SPEAKER_06: And they're go through all the evidence, the social media posts, the documentation, and you can see it all there for yourself.
- 1:28:13SPEAKER_06: And this is what AJ Kern talks about.
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_06: She thinks that this is, you know, this bombshell.
- 1:28:17SPEAKER_06: I mean, we have a member of Congress that potentially is not a U.S.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_06: citizen.
- 1:28:21SPEAKER_06: And she's thinking, well, you know, this is this is going to be a huge story.
- 1:28:25SPEAKER_06: So imagine her shock when this is really all but ignored back then.
- 1:28:30SPEAKER_06: And so that's why, you know, just even hearing Mark Lane Willen basically say he married her her brother.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I mean, I think that that was uh uh something that that so many uh had had been doing the legwork here in in Minnesota to but I also believe back then that case was presented to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, um, from what I recall.
- 1:28:51SPEAKER_06: And you know, no charges were ever filed against her or anything along um those lines, and you know, in a very uh blue city uh of Minneapolis, of course.
- 1:29:00SPEAKER_14: So I've got I have an email that came in.
- 1:29:02SPEAKER_14: A friend of the show um did a deep dive into what would happen if Omar were to be found guilty of the crimes as they are alleged, right?
- 1:29:14SPEAKER_14: Denaturalized.
- 1:29:16SPEAKER_14: So according to what he's sharing, uh she does not automatically lose her seat.
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_14: The House would need to declare her seat vacant with two-thirds vote.
- 1:29:25SPEAKER_14: See, this is where so let me just stop here really quick.
- 1:29:30SPEAKER_14: Because this is where uh you can begin to game out just how ridiculous things are gonna get.
- 1:29:39SPEAKER_14: Because it's not gonna be cut and dry.
- 1:29:41SPEAKER_14: It's not like denaturalized, boo, you're gone.
- 1:29:43SPEAKER_14: No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_14: There's a then there's a good listen, there's a good thing there's a process involved here.
- 1:29:47SPEAKER_14: There needs to be.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_14: There has to be checks and balances, right?
- 1:29:50SPEAKER_14: Even if it ends up being cut and dry.
- 1:29:53SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 1:29:54SPEAKER_14: So the House would need to declare her seat vacant with two-thirds of vote, which also brings renewed importance on these midterm elections.
- 1:30:01SPEAKER_14: Which again, just want to point out my expectation that the indictment will come down before the midterms.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_14: October surprise anybody?
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_14: The House members would likely give her a chance to resign first, should she end up being removed from all committee positions and be removed from any position of power.
- 1:30:20SPEAKER_14: Once she is ousted and nothing changes with any past votes, as we mentioned, um, that she's made, any bills that she is currently signed on with would go forward with someone else taking her spot if uh needed.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_14: So uh they go on to say, take this all with a grain of thought uh salt, that they were doing a quick uh search for the AI overlords.
- 1:30:41SPEAKER_14: So thank you for uh for doing that, though, uh, in the midst of my not having time to dive into that particular piece of information.
- 1:30:47SPEAKER_14: All right, so uh we're waiting for our guest to uh join us here on the John Justice show.
- 1:30:51SPEAKER_14: While we are waiting for the guest, let me go ahead and play this uh clip from uh A.J.
- 1:30:55SPEAKER_14: Kern as mentioned.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_14: This goes back to 2019 when A.J.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_14: Kern went and posted this.
- 1:31:03SPEAKER_14: As it's been known since then that Ilhan Omar may not be a legitimate U.S.
- 1:31:07SPEAKER_14: citizen.
- 1:31:08SPEAKER_14: A.J.
- 1:31:08SPEAKER_14: Kern herself ran for Congress.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_14: Uh she was worthless calling on the podcast.
- 1:31:13SPEAKER_14: We actually talked about her a couple of weeks back to talk about the details in documents related to Omar's personal history and immigration status.
- 1:31:20SPEAKER_14: Omar has repeatedly claimed that she became a citizen at age 18.
- 1:31:24SPEAKER_14: This is where all the controversy is uh stemming from.
- 1:31:28SPEAKER_14: Here is what A.J.
- 1:31:29SPEAKER_14: Kern had to say, again, going back to 2019.
- 1:31:34SPEAKER_01: Hey, sports fans.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_01: Based on the limited information that we have, it appears that Ilhan Omar never obtained her U.S.
- 1:31:42SPEAKER_01: citizenship.
- 1:31:44SPEAKER_01: According to the U.S.
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_01: Constitution, Article 1, Section 2, Clause 2, uh a person who serves in the Congress has to have been seven years a citizen of the United States.
- 1:31:57SPEAKER_01: Now, the Omar family moved to the U.S.
- 1:31:59SPEAKER_01: in 1995, and by law, refugees must be a lawful permanent resident for five years to be eligible to apply for U.S.
- 1:32:07SPEAKER_01: citizenship.
- 1:32:08SPEAKER_01: That would have been the year 2000 for her father.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_01: The limited sources that we have show that she became a citizen in 2000 when she was 17.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_01: The New York Times, AP News show that she was uh 17 when she became a citizen in 2000.
- 1:32:25SPEAKER_01: The problem with that is that Ilhan Omar was not 17 in the U in the year 2000.
- 1:32:31SPEAKER_01: How do we know?
- 1:32:33SPEAKER_01: Well, because numerous sources and her Minnesota legislative page show that her birth date was October 4th, 1981.
- 1:32:43SPEAKER_01: Omar was not eligible to be in U.S.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_01: citizenship in 2000 as a minor.
- 1:32:48SPEAKER_01: She that is when she turned 19.
- 1:32:52SPEAKER_01: So uh the immigration laws provide for three main mechanisms that a U.S.
- 1:32:56SPEAKER_01: citizen or refugee parent can potentially use to seek citizenship for their child.
- 1:33:02SPEAKER_01: The first one, acquisition of citizenship.
- 1:33:05SPEAKER_01: If you or your spouse or both are United States citizens and your child was born abroad, this does not apply to Ilhan Omar because her sit her parents were not U.S.
- 1:33:15SPEAKER_01: citizens when she was born in Somalia.
- 1:33:18SPEAKER_01: Number two, derivation of citizenship for children of refugees whose child turned 18 years old on or after February 27, 2001.
- 1:33:28SPEAKER_01: And this does not apply.
- 1:33:30SPEAKER_01: Derivation of citizenship does not apply because she turned 19 in the year 2000.
- 1:33:35SPEAKER_01: Number three, application for citizenship under section 322 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act.
- 1:33:42SPEAKER_01: One parent is a U.S.
- 1:33:44SPEAKER_01: citizen, usually by naturalization.
- 1:33:46SPEAKER_01: Now, remember, her father could only apply for naturalization in the year 2000, and the child has to be under the age of 18, which she was not.
- 1:33:57SPEAKER_01: So, number three does not apply to Ilhan Omar.
- 1:34:01SPEAKER_01: It appears Ilhan Omar never obtained U.S.
- 1:34:04SPEAKER_01: citizenship as an adult in the year 2000 when she was 19, and then legally eligible to become to apply and become a U.S.
- 1:34:12SPEAKER_01: citizen.
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_01: Ilhan Omar has not corrected the record.
- 1:34:17SPEAKER_01: U.S.
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_01: citizenship is a requirement to serve in the U.S.
- 1:34:20SPEAKER_01: Congress, and the American people have a right to verify that U.S.
- 1:34:25SPEAKER_01: citizenship.
- 1:34:26SPEAKER_01: Naturalization records are only obtainable through a Freedom of Information Act request.
- 1:34:32SPEAKER_01: Here's the catch.
- 1:34:34SPEAKER_01: That request will not be answered unless Omar gives her permission for that request to be fulfilled.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_01: So until Ilhan Omar provides proof of her U.S.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_01: citizenship, rather than thinking of her as a dual citizen, we will think of her as a Somali nationalist.
- 1:34:57SPEAKER_01: Ilhan Omar, the American people have a right to know.
- 1:35:01SPEAKER_01: We need verification that you actually obtained U.S.
- 1:35:04SPEAKER_01: citizenship.
- 1:35:05SPEAKER_01: I'm A.J.
- 1:35:06SPEAKER_01: Kern, and I approve this message.
- 1:35:10SPEAKER_14: And again, uh that goes back to 2019, and it may very well be exactly what's being investigated and looked into uh right uh right now as we continue to follow the story here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:35:23SPEAKER_02: Hey, John, this is exactly why I don't think anything's gonna happen with Omar.
- 1:35:27SPEAKER_02: The Democrats do not care about law and order.
- 1:35:31SPEAKER_02: They're gonna find her guilty and they're gonna blame her dad because she was too young to know any better.
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_02: And nothing's going to change.
- 1:35:39SPEAKER_02: It never does.
- 1:35:40SPEAKER_02: Democrats never face the music.
- 1:35:44SPEAKER_14: Oh, okay.
- 1:35:45SPEAKER_14: I mean, if you want to have that attitude, uh we'll see.
- 1:35:48SPEAKER_14: If you end up being right, then feel free to uh to reach back out and say, hey, John, I was right.
- 1:35:53SPEAKER_14: I have absolutely no problem with that at all.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_14: I am remaining uh currently um uh cautiously optimistic.
- 1:36:01SPEAKER_14: I just want to say that.
- 1:36:02SPEAKER_14: Anna Paulina Luna uh was on uh Fox News, I believe, yesterday, her sharing her thoughts on the raid that took place.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_10: Members of Congress, it seems like for a long time have been held to a different standard.
- 1:36:15SPEAKER_10: And if these allegations are true, then it needs to be dealt with legally.
- 1:36:19SPEAKER_10: But ultimately, you know, well, this is exactly why myself, members like Kat Kamick, even Randy Fine have pushed for there to be um a disclosure, at least for people to know whether or not members of Congress are dual citizens.
- 1:36:31SPEAKER_10: We see that Al Said of Michigan is currently um apparently a citizen of Egypt as well, and that's something that I don't think many Americans realize is a very big national security threat in the House of Representatives.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_10: Um, but this also gets into bigger conversation on disclosures in general, specifically pertaining to Farah.
- 1:36:47SPEAKER_50: Yeah, I've it's crazy to me that a large portion of the population being Democrats don't see this type of stuff, such as with El Han Omar, as an attack for an invasion.
- 1:37:04SPEAKER_50: It's it's basically an attack on our government to uh lie to our government and then serve and try to serve in Congress.
- 1:37:14SPEAKER_50: It's an attack.
- 1:37:15SPEAKER_50: Why do we not see this?
- 1:37:17SPEAKER_50: We're pretending like we're Rhodes Island from St.
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_50: Olaf and we're completely naive, if you've ever watched Golden Girl.
- 1:37:25SPEAKER_14: I I I know that was a little hard to hear, but they make a really, really good point, and I and I I want to spend a moment on it.
- 1:37:33SPEAKER_14: Right?
- 1:37:34SPEAKER_14: It's she says it's crazy to me that a large portion of Democrats don't see this type of stuff as um like we do, as an attack on our government.
- 1:37:45SPEAKER_14: This is the great tragedy of where our politics are right now.
- 1:37:49SPEAKER_14: It wasn't all that long ago, and I remember I was a talk show host at the time.
- 1:37:54SPEAKER_14: It's incredible to me because I never imagined I always imagined doing this for my career, but you know, I never thought, you know, 25 years down the line, you know, going on now over 30 years down the line.
- 1:38:09SPEAKER_14: I never thought 15, 20 years ago that I would be in the spot I uh I'm in right now to having to have seen how the change has taken place.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 1:38:20SPEAKER_14: So what I mean by that is there was a time when you had the left care about these particular uh issues.
- 1:38:33SPEAKER_14: They cared about issues relating to uh immigration, they cared about the border.
- 1:38:39SPEAKER_14: This was something that crossed party lines and that all has changed.
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_14: She's absolutely right.
- 1:38:48SPEAKER_14: In a more sane, rational world, you would have Democrats that would be just as concerned that a member of Congress, regardless of party, may have lied in order to gain a position of power.
- 1:39:03SPEAKER_14: They used to care about this.
- 1:39:04SPEAKER_14: You can solve these problems, now it doesn't matter anymore.
- 1:39:08SPEAKER_14: That's the great tragedy in in all of this.
- 1:39:10SPEAKER_14: You would have Democrats who would actually care about election integrity, making sure that it was safe and fair for everybody, because if one side can cheat, then potentially the other side can cheat.
- 1:39:22SPEAKER_14: And yet now what's happened is you see the left has gone and taken issues like voting integrity, and they've treated it just like they have with illegal immigration.
- 1:39:31SPEAKER_14: They've gamed it out, and on a long enough timeline, they've created a scenario wherein it's more advantageous for them to push back on anything Republicans say or do, which means going back on things that they used to go and stand for.
- 1:39:46SPEAKER_14: You go back and listen to those clips from you know, former clips from Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, uh former President Barack Obama.
- 1:39:55SPEAKER_14: They sounded on so many of these issues like Republicans do today.
- 1:39:59SPEAKER_14: But the game has changed.
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_14: And unfortunately, in large part, because individuals like Ilhan Omar, who used to sort of be just a part of the squad, that aspect, that radical aspect of the party has now turned into the entirety of the party.
- 1:40:17SPEAKER_14: They're all a bunch of radicals now, tragically.
- 1:40:21SPEAKER_14: That's the that's the great frustration in all of this.
- 1:40:23SPEAKER_14: And it goes back to something that I've said so often on the show.
- 1:40:26SPEAKER_14: It doesn't have to be this way, and it shouldn't be this way.
- 1:40:30SPEAKER_15: To the uh black pill, nothing ever happens, uh guy.
- 1:40:36SPEAKER_15: First off, even if they were just to blame her dad, her dad lied on the immigration form, if that's the case, they can posthumously denaturalize him, seeing is how he's not alive anymore.
- 1:40:55SPEAKER_15: That would make her citizenship that he vouched for her age null and void.
- 1:41:03SPEAKER_15: That would still mean she would become denaturalized.
- 1:41:09SPEAKER_15: Like I I don't understand all this like big stuff is happening, and people are still, oh nothing's gonna happen.
- 1:41:17SPEAKER_15: Like, I don't know.
- 1:41:19SPEAKER_15: These are pretty big developments in the past few days to sit here and be like, nothing's happening.
- 1:41:25SPEAKER_15: Nothing happened.
- 1:41:27SPEAKER_15: You just sound silly.
- 1:41:30SPEAKER_14: 651-964-02 uh 94.
- 1:41:34SPEAKER_14: Let's get to another one of your uh thoughts this morning.
- 1:41:37SPEAKER_28: John, I really think Democrats would deeply care about this sort of thing if it was a Republican who was going to be hosted from Congress.
- 1:41:46SPEAKER_28: Who if uh all illegal voters miraculously just were oh you know, pledged their allegiance to the Republican Party and voided wholeheartedly towards Republicans, they would care.
- 1:41:57SPEAKER_28: They would kick them all out.
- 1:41:59SPEAKER_28: They'd be marching them out with a parade.
- 1:42:02SPEAKER_28: It's it's selective, it's it's like you always say, it's party over country.
- 1:42:08SPEAKER_28: It's it's disgusting.
- 1:42:10SPEAKER_28: I think the reason Ilhan might have married her brother was just to avoid having premarital sex, but that's just me.
- 1:42:16SPEAKER_28: Have a great day.
- 1:42:16SPEAKER_28: Bye.
- 1:42:17SPEAKER_14: Okay, that is completely uninformed uh speculation.
- 1:42:20SPEAKER_14: So you're entitled to your opinion, but we have no evidence of that uh whatsoever.
- 1:42:24SPEAKER_14: All right, here's what we're gonna do.
- 1:42:25SPEAKER_14: I want to get our uh our guest on.
- 1:42:27SPEAKER_14: Apparently, he's having some uh difficulty connecting through the system, so we're gonna try to get him on the uh phone line.
- 1:42:32SPEAKER_14: We'll get back to more of your thoughts.
- 1:42:33SPEAKER_14: And I want to remind you, do we do have guests joining us in studio just after eight o'clock uh this morning?
- 1:42:38SPEAKER_14: Uh uh members of Turning Point USA ahead of Riley Gaines' appearance in Minneapolis, of which we'll have all of the details.
- 1:42:46SPEAKER_14: So hopefully in just a few minutes here, we'll be talking with John Nagel running against Ilhan Omar in her district here on the John Justice show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:42:56SPEAKER_14: It's John Justice, and you've probably gone through the yo-yo dieting.
- 1:43:00SPEAKER_14: That was the case for me, but not anymore.
- 1:43:02SPEAKER_14: You lose a few pounds, it all comes back, and more.
- 1:43:05SPEAKER_14: You lose a few pounds and it all comes back, and even more.
- 1:43:08SPEAKER_14: If that's been your life, NeutroWave was built for you.
- 1:43:11SPEAKER_14: It certainly was for me.
- 1:43:13SPEAKER_14: I've lost over 25 pounds on this amazing program.
- 1:43:16SPEAKER_14: Neutrowave turns on the fat burning, reignites your energy, and it's all natural.
- 1:43:21SPEAKER_14: There's no pills, there's no shots, there's no excuses.
- 1:43:24SPEAKER_14: It actually helps you change your relationship with food just through the process of the program.
- 1:43:29SPEAKER_14: 31,000 people across the metro have tried everything else, and Neutrowave is where they got their life back.
- 1:43:35SPEAKER_14: And Neutrawave is accepting a limited number of new people.
- 1:43:39SPEAKER_14: So call and mention the word strike, and you get a$272 value truth metabolic scan and a red light therapy session.
- 1:43:48SPEAKER_14: I've done it, it's incredibly effective.
- 1:43:51SPEAKER_14: Nothing to lose and everything to gain, but you're gonna lose the weight and you're not gonna put it back on.
- 1:43:56SPEAKER_14: Individual results may vary.
- 1:43:57SPEAKER_14: So call today at 952-260-1965.
- 1:44:02SPEAKER_14: That's 952-260-1965.
- 1:44:05SPEAKER_14: Remember, no pills, no shots, just results.
- 1:44:08SPEAKER_14: Neutrawave, there's nothing else like it.
- 1:44:10SPEAKER_14: Results may vary.
- 1:44:11SPEAKER_14: Neutrawave is not a medical treatment.
- 1:44:13SPEAKER_14: Consult your physician before starting any weight loss program.
- 1:44:16SPEAKER_13: Think about it.
- 1:44:17SPEAKER_13: Black and Hispanic students in Mississippi perform better in reading and math than black and Hispanic students in Minnesota.
- 1:44:24SPEAKER_13: And Mississippi spends thousands of dollars less per student than Minnesota.
- 1:44:28SPEAKER_13: Mississippi spends less money, gets better results, and their achievement gaps are closing, while ours are getting worse.
- 1:44:35SPEAKER_13: Think about it.
- 1:44:36SPEAKER_13: It's time for real education reform so Minnesota can catch up to Mississippi.
- 1:44:41SPEAKER_13: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 1:44:46SPEAKER_14: It's John Justice, and when your home needs help, call the experts that you can trust, because I trust them too.

- 1:47:54SPEAKER_14: It's a John Justice show presented by American American Experiment.
- 1:47:58SPEAKER_14: John Nagel, do we have you on the line or no?
- 1:48:00SPEAKER_37: To erase and re-record press.
- 1:48:02SPEAKER_14: Apparently, we do not have John Nagel on the line like I thought that we uh like the thought that we did.
- 1:48:07SPEAKER_14: So uh unfortunately, I don't know why we are having uh technical difficulties uh this morning.
- 1:48:12SPEAKER_14: Let's go back to the blaster line while we sort things out.
- 1:48:14SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294.
- 1:48:18SPEAKER_18: You know, if all else fails and Ilhan is has to redo her citizenship, you know, if they even take it from her, you know, if it's a Democrat.
- 1:48:27SPEAKER_18: Uh but yeah, even if things fall apart, she's always got a spot in Maine.
- 1:48:32SPEAKER_18: She could be running on the ticket with the other uh Maine Democrat who's a fornicator and procreator with two kids with his first cousin.
- 1:48:42SPEAKER_18: So she's fit right over there.
- 1:48:46SPEAKER_14: All right, let's go ahead.
- 1:48:47SPEAKER_14: I'm gonna try to dial up uh John Nagel now and see if we can't bring him on uh live here on the uh on the show.
- 1:48:53SPEAKER_14: We'll try it this way.
- 1:48:55SPEAKER_14: Hello.
- 1:48:56SPEAKER_14: Uh John Nagel, uh welcome to uh the John Justice Show.
- 1:48:59SPEAKER_14: Do I got you?
- 1:49:01SPEAKER_16: You've got me, John.
- 1:49:02SPEAKER_16: Sorry about the delay and the gutch.
- 1:49:04SPEAKER_14: Yeah, sorry, yeah, I'm sorry for the technical problems.
- 1:49:06SPEAKER_14: Uh I appreciate you joining us and I appreciate your uh your patience.
- 1:49:10SPEAKER_14: So listen, with the time that we have, let's go ahead and get right into it.
- 1:49:13SPEAKER_14: For those that are not familiar with you and uh your run for office in the 5th congressional district against uh Ilhan Omar, give us uh a bit of your uh background, and then we can dive into all the controversy and what we've been talking about on the show the past couple of days.
- 1:49:29SPEAKER_16: Yeah, and we're gonna need uh weeks to talk about everything that's going on with Ilhan Omar.
- 1:49:33SPEAKER_16: So I'm a Minnesota guy.
- 1:49:35SPEAKER_16: Uh grew up here, born and raised here, bought the house my grandfather built, uh went to college, University of St.
- 1:49:41SPEAKER_16: Thomas, uh, got hired by the State Patrol 30 years with them, uh retired as a state patrol lieutenant.
- 1:49:46SPEAKER_16: Um best job I've ever had in the world.
- 1:49:48SPEAKER_16: I'd go back tomorrow uh if they'd let me.
- 1:49:51SPEAKER_16: Um after I retired, uh I went to work for the twins, I did security for them.
- 1:49:56SPEAKER_16: Uh I was hired by uh Globe University, I was a criminal justice chief.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_16: So I taught uh criminal justice classes, um, and I did some classes on terrorism and uh world government.
- 1:50:08SPEAKER_16: Uh, and then I was asked to do a I was asked to go out and do a caucus, and then it kind of all went downhill from there.
- 1:50:15SPEAKER_16: That's how I got to where we're talking.
- 1:50:17SPEAKER_14: So why challenge uh Ilhan Omar uh in this district?
- 1:50:21SPEAKER_14: It's obviously um relatively safe for her.
- 1:50:25SPEAKER_14: Uh she's been challenged before.
- 1:50:27SPEAKER_14: There have been individuals that have, you know, made some inroads uh in there, but she's still it's it's a pretty it's been a pretty safe bet for her so far.
- 1:50:35SPEAKER_14: So why take on this challenge, uh John Nagel?
- 1:50:38SPEAKER_16: There's a couple of things, John.
- 1:50:40SPEAKER_16: First off, this is my home.
- 1:50:42SPEAKER_16: Um, this isn't her home, this is my home.
- 1:50:44SPEAKER_16: I was born here, she came here, she's anti-American, she's an immigrant, and I'm really tired of not having anybody representing me in Congress.
- 1:50:53SPEAKER_16: And, you know, there's 700,000 people in this congressional district.
- 1:50:57SPEAKER_16: She is not representing all of us.
- 1:50:59SPEAKER_16: Uh I think it's pretty obvious by her comments uh and in where she goes and what she does.
- 1:51:04SPEAKER_16: Um, and as far as uh, I mean, you talked about it this morning, she's she's not that well liked.
- 1:51:10SPEAKER_16: I can't tell you how many Democrats that have come up to me and talked to me and said, we've had it, this is not the Democratic Party we grew up in.
- 1:51:18SPEAKER_16: I mean, it it's it's those are the same stories we hear over and over again.
- 1:51:22SPEAKER_16: Uh I even had somebody come up to me where uh they said, you know, our challenger didn't beat her again.
- 1:51:30SPEAKER_16: And we're tired of her, and since uh our guy didn't make it, we're gonna vote for you.
- 1:51:36SPEAKER_16: People want normalcy, people want to be able to be secure, they're tired of being lied to, and let's face it, she's just one controversy after another.
- 1:51:45SPEAKER_16: Um, so if if you want to continue to have all of this stuff that is going on with her, uh, you know, keep voting for her, and you're gonna have the same continual turmoil.
- 1:51:55SPEAKER_16: I don't understand if this is so important and she is so upset about them looking at her background.
- 1:52:03SPEAKER_16: You know, people uh like Liz Collins, I mean, there's all sorts of really great people who have come out and said, there are red flags, there are issues, there are problems.
- 1:52:11SPEAKER_16: If I was a sitting congressperson, I would come out and say, okay, I want my name cleared up.
- 1:52:15SPEAKER_16: Let's let's do this, let's investigate it, and uh, and then let's move on.
- 1:52:21SPEAKER_14: Yeah, it's really interesting, and we'll continue talking about this uh this morning, the fact that she hasn't been staying since the raid took place earlier uh this week.
- 1:52:30SPEAKER_14: Let's get into a bit of the this investigation.
- 1:52:33SPEAKER_14: And obviously, talking with John Nagel, he is uh running for the 5th Congressional District.
- 1:52:38SPEAKER_14: That would be Ilhan Omar's uh the Republican nominee taking her uh uh taking her on.
- 1:52:44SPEAKER_14: It's a lot of speculation at this point in time, right?
- 1:52:46SPEAKER_14: A lot of this is incredibly informed speculation based off of after reporting of individuals who have done the digging, uh wherein the frustration has been that nothing's been done until now, and there was a lot of um a collective sort of time when we saw that investigation of the rate of her home on Monday.
- 1:53:04SPEAKER_14: Um does this provide an opportunity uh now?
- 1:53:07SPEAKER_14: Do you think that this has the potential depending?
- 1:53:10SPEAKER_14: Let's just say for the sake of argument, it is where it is right now.
- 1:53:13SPEAKER_14: There's no indictment before election day.
- 1:53:15SPEAKER_14: Is there an opportunity now to perhaps mount a stronger challenge against her given the investigation that's ongoing?
- 1:53:23SPEAKER_16: Well, again, I think what you pointed out is is really accurate.
- 1:53:26SPEAKER_16: I mean, this this is the United States, and unlike Democrats, Republicans uh, you know, just don't find you guilty first and then try to figure out a reason why.
- 1:53:34SPEAKER_46: Right.
- 1:53:35SPEAKER_16: Um so so yeah, I mean, you know, here's what we've got this year that we've never had before.
- 1:53:41SPEAKER_16: The best thing that ever happens to Minnesota is Waltz was a nominee and we got uh national attention.
- 1:53:48SPEAKER_16: No longer can the media in the metro, and I'm not including, you know, you and Liz Collins and and other you know good reporting, but the media can't protect her anymore.
- 1:53:58SPEAKER_16: They can't protect the Democrats.
- 1:53:59SPEAKER_16: So many people have seen now who she is, where she's coming from.
- 1:54:03SPEAKER_16: Um, she has made so many comments, whether it's Charlie Kirk, anti-white, anti-Semitism.
- 1:54:09SPEAKER_16: I mean, she's publicly said these things.
- 1:54:11SPEAKER_16: Um, so you know, the Democrats, I think many of them see her as uh more of an anchor.
- 1:54:16SPEAKER_16: Uh now, let's let's face it, the Democratic Socialists, they love her, right?
- 1:54:21SPEAKER_16: I mean, if you want to go down the road of communism and that side, but the average person, you know, everybody doesn't eat, drink, and sleep, you know, Republican or Democrat.
- 1:54:31SPEAKER_16: There's people that go to work every day, they work hard, they're just trying to provide for their families, and they vote for the person that bet best fits, you know, their their uh their values, their morals.
- 1:54:43SPEAKER_16: And that's what we've got right now.
- 1:54:44SPEAKER_16: People are sitting back going, um, she's not really Minnesotan, she's pretty anti-American, and uh, my taxes are way too high.
- 1:54:52SPEAKER_16: And everything she votes on is basically trying to weaken the United States.
- 1:54:58SPEAKER_16: And why would a normal individual want to vote for somebody like that?
- 1:55:02SPEAKER_14: Talking with John Nagel, again, the Republican nominee taking on Representative Ilhan Omar in the 5th Congressional District.
- 1:55:08SPEAKER_14: As we continue our conversation, John, where can people go online to find out uh more about your uh about your campaign?
- 1:55:15SPEAKER_16: NagelforCongress.com.
- 1:55:17SPEAKER_16: Easy breezy.
- 1:55:18SPEAKER_14: All right, let's go here.
- 1:55:19SPEAKER_14: Uh you got you have 30 years um uh serving in in law enforcement.
- 1:55:24SPEAKER_14: Um we've been dealing with a number of different issues, obviously the fraud issue, uh, but also the rise in Somali gangs and really a Somali gang war that's been playing out on the streets and unfortunately in some of our uh high schools as well.
- 1:55:40SPEAKER_14: Uh your perspective on what we're dealing with in terms of the Somali gang issue, and is there anything that you're not seeing um that you want would like to see done?
- 1:55:51SPEAKER_14: Um, or are you, you know, are you pleased with what we've seen so far in the efforts to go and combat that?
- 1:55:57SPEAKER_14: I'm just really curious to get your perspective on what we've been dealing with in terms of these gang crimes that have been taking place.
- 1:56:03SPEAKER_16: Well, I think first off, everybody should understand that this is not any fault of your rank and file police officer.
- 1:56:11SPEAKER_16: The the the police are ready to go, they're ready to make arrests.
- 1:56:15SPEAKER_16: What we have is is we have politicians, we have weak mayors, uh, we have a we have got a terrible uh county attorney.
- 1:56:23SPEAKER_16: Uh so when you arrest somebody and they're immediately let go, um, it's not helping the situation.
- 1:56:29SPEAKER_16: What what has happened is is we have emboldened the gangs in Minnesota.
- 1:56:34SPEAKER_16: And this is why they come to Hennepin County, because they know that Mary Moriarty probably isn't gonna do anything.
- 1:56:40SPEAKER_16: So un until we have a focused group and we have officers that are allowed to go out and do their jobs, and that means that they have to have the support of their mayors, they have to have the support of their city uh prosecutors, their county prosecutors, and then we have to have judges, you know, that are also going to be working with it.
- 1:57:00SPEAKER_16: You you've got to have all of these people together to to do something.
- 1:57:04SPEAKER_16: Now, you know, go over to to Ramsey County with uh uh Sheriff Fletcher, you know, that guy's been telling everybody for a long time, hey, there's a problem, and he was called a racist.
- 1:57:14SPEAKER_16: And that seems to be, you know, what what we do here in in Minnesota lately is that if we catch somebody stealing an apple, oh you're a racist because you caught me stealing an apple.
- 1:57:24SPEAKER_16: No, it's not because it's racist, it's because we have crimes going on and people are sick and tired of bullets flying around.
- 1:57:32SPEAKER_16: Um we're really lucky that we've only had people you know injured, not killed.
- 1:57:38SPEAKER_16: John, those bullets go up, they gotta come down someplace.
- 1:57:41SPEAKER_16: And uh and you know what, and we have uh all sorts of laws on the books.
- 1:57:46SPEAKER_16: Start enforcing uh the people that are uh you know moving guns around, which seems to be part of what these gangs do.
- 1:57:53SPEAKER_16: They they trade in guns, you know, they're altering guns so that they're no longer you know single shot.
- 1:57:58SPEAKER_16: There are all sorts of laws, and all you gotta do is charge them and uh have somebody actually you know prosecute them.
- 1:58:04SPEAKER_16: So when I heard the Adina, uh there's a man and he had kids uh in the Adina schools, and he said, My kids come home and say, hey, you know, this certain group of people, they aren't even being held accountable in school.
- 1:58:17SPEAKER_16: And he said, I'm I'm tired of that.
- 1:58:19SPEAKER_16: And if everybody is afraid of being called a racist, uh, you're in the law, wrong line of business.
- 1:58:25SPEAKER_16: I mean, um, I've been called racist now I don't know how many times, and and that's fine because you know what?
- 1:58:31SPEAKER_16: Racism doesn't mean anything anymore because it's been used so often to try to get bad people off the hook that people are going, yeah, you know, whatever.
- 1:58:40SPEAKER_16: So I would like to see a specific uh gang task force, uh, and that would actually help alleviate any of the cities and the politicians having to worry about you know offending anybody.
- 1:58:53SPEAKER_16: If if you have you know one group of people, they go in, they move around, they do their thing, they leave, uh, you know, that that politically would would be a good thing.
- 1:59:01SPEAKER_16: To me, as a law enforcement officer, um, these cops know what to do.
- 1:59:05SPEAKER_16: I mean, as a state trooper, I walked a beat on Henipin Avenue, and I've told that you know frequently, and and people get really surprised, you know, why are why are troopers on Hennepin Avenue?
- 1:59:15SPEAKER_16: Well, myself and a really good friend of mine, both of us were lieutenants, and the and one of the very first nights, we went down there, walked a beat, knocked on all the doors, told everybody we're here.
- 1:59:24SPEAKER_16: You know, you call, we'll we'll be there.
- 1:59:26SPEAKER_16: Um, we made arrests, uh, ran into some of the dumbest uh uh thieves you're ever going to imagine.
- 1:59:33SPEAKER_16: I mean, I had a kid that uh, you know, was gonna, you know, we did the we did the Rudy Giuliani.
- 1:59:37SPEAKER_16: It's the it's the broken window.
- 1:59:39SPEAKER_16: You know, if you did something wrong, you got a ticket.
- 1:59:41SPEAKER_16: And uh from those tickets, we ended up finding gang members.
- 1:59:44SPEAKER_16: We arrested people.
- 1:59:46SPEAKER_16: I had a young lady at a bus stop.
- 1:59:48SPEAKER_16: Uh it was about midnight, and I felt so bad because she had this little tiny one, and she's taking the bus, and um, she looked at us and she says, I'm so glad that you guys are here.
- 1:59:57SPEAKER_16: She said, Since you guys have been down here walking around, the gang members are leaving me alone and they're melting away.
- 2:00:03SPEAKER_16: People need to realize, too, that it's it's not just uh a Somali gang problem.
- 2:00:08SPEAKER_16: And I would think too, with the Somali leadership, why aren't they coming forward instead of screaming, oh, you're being racist or it's a gun problem, why aren't they sitting down at the table and saying, Okay, we have a problem.
- 2:00:20SPEAKER_16: How do we help you so that the good, honest people in our community aren't affected by this?
- 2:00:26SPEAKER_16: And I don't see that.
- 2:00:27SPEAKER_14: Talking with John Nagel again, the Republican nominee, uh, taking on Ilhan Omar in the fifth congressional district, this of course took a dramatic turn in light of the raid that has taken place, the subpoenas going out to her family members.
- 2:00:41SPEAKER_14: How aware um have you been, John, to these uh controversies?
- 2:00:47SPEAKER_14: I mean, a lot of people have been covering the background of Ilhan Omar, wondering if the federal government was going to do anything.
- 2:00:53SPEAKER_14: Um, how aware um were you, have you been of these allegations against her?
- 2:00:58SPEAKER_16: So uh back in October, over a year ago, uh there's a guy by the name of uh Ben Weingartner, and he wrote this great book about Elon Omar and being it's called Ingrade.
- 2:01:10SPEAKER_16: So I read a great deal about her, and I look at her history, and I'm sitting here going, I can't believe that this person actually got elected in Minnesota if people would have known her entire background.
- 2:01:22SPEAKER_16: Now, uh I heard, you know, Tom Holman uh a year ago, they they said that there were investigators in Minnesota checking on uh the paperwork of people that were, you know, from Somalia, uh Somalis.
- 2:01:37SPEAKER_16: And it was interesting because we knew there was an investigation going on a year ago.
- 2:01:44SPEAKER_16: And I'm sitting here going, well, if there were so many people that came in that weren't vetted, and that's the problem.
- 2:01:52SPEAKER_16: The Department of Justice came out and said that there were I mean, half of the people that were brought into the uh to Minnesota uh from Somali uh from Somalia weren't vetted appropriately.
- 2:02:04SPEAKER_16: Okay.
- 2:02:04SPEAKER_16: I mean when you think about that, half of that population, thousands of people weren't vetted.
- 2:02:10SPEAKER_16: So paperwork and and things like that weren't done.
- 2:02:12SPEAKER_16: So now they're having to go back and literally, you know, go through every single piece of paper that they could possibly find.
- 2:02:20SPEAKER_16: And, you know, with Elon Omar's father and his background, and now with this age thing, um, I think we've got a really good chance because um even you know, you're talking about Jonathan Shirley.
- 2:02:31SPEAKER_16: They're they're saying that we had a Democrat judge, you know, Obama, I mean, he he couldn't get any bluer as a judge, okay the rate on her house, and generally there has to be some really good positive proof for that to happen.
- 2:02:49SPEAKER_14: Does this change uh your um your campaign uh tactics?
- 2:02:54SPEAKER_14: Did you go out and and talk to people in the fifth congressional uh district, or is it uh, you know, just uh continue with the message that you've been uh that you've been using?
- 2:03:04SPEAKER_16: Well, you know, I think people are gonna look at the fact that I am a retired police officer.
- 2:03:08SPEAKER_16: Uh I have 30 years of of service to the people of Minnesota.
- 2:03:12SPEAKER_16: Um I'm not a politician.
- 2:03:14SPEAKER_16: And uh, well, I mean, let's face it, I'm kind of a I'm kind of a walking term limit.
- 2:03:18SPEAKER_16: So uh I you know, I would I would think that people I would think that people would want to uh want somebody that doesn't have any kind of controversy on their background and and truly, you know, I I want to I want to fix the schools, I want to fix the business environment.
- 2:03:33SPEAKER_16: Um she's not doing any of those things.
- 2:03:35SPEAKER_16: I mean, what has she done for Minnesota?
- 2:03:37SPEAKER_46: Right.
- 2:03:37SPEAKER_16: Uh you know, and uh let's let let's face it, you know, if if you go to Italy and and you know you talk about you know the the mob there, go to Boston, you talk about the the the Boston, you know, Irish mob there.
- 2:03:54SPEAKER_16: People think this is you know racist that we're talking this way.
- 2:03:57SPEAKER_16: And you know, it it's not.
- 2:03:59SPEAKER_16: We have a problem.
- 2:04:00SPEAKER_16: And I don't care as a police officer, you know.
- 2:04:03SPEAKER_16: I wouldn't show up at a crash scene and go, gee, are you a Republican or a Democrat?
- 2:04:06SPEAKER_16: You know, I would show up at a crash scene and I'd go, okay, you know, I'm I'm here to help you.
- 2:04:11SPEAKER_16: Um and that's the other frustrating thing.
- 2:04:13SPEAKER_16: People will look at me and the first thing they'll say is, Well, are you a Republican or Democrat?
- 2:04:16SPEAKER_16: Or did you vote for Trump?
- 2:04:18SPEAKER_16: And I'm going, okay, first off, this has nothing to do with Trump.
- 2:04:21SPEAKER_16: And secondly, this has nothing to do with being a Republican or a Democrat.
- 2:04:25SPEAKER_16: This has everything to do about being a Minnesota.
- 2:04:27SPEAKER_16: I don't care who broke Minnesota, but we need to start electing people that are willing to fix it.
- 2:04:33SPEAKER_16: We've got great teachers, but we've got, you know, an absolute abomination for a Department of Education.
- 2:04:39SPEAKER_16: Um, and we've got good people, you know, people leaving.
- 2:04:41SPEAKER_16: We need to have school choice for our kids.
- 2:04:44SPEAKER_16: Um, all of these things that the teachers union fight us on.
- 2:04:47SPEAKER_16: Uh I think uh was it American Experiment uh came out and said that there are like six schools in Minnesota.
- 2:04:54SPEAKER_14: Yep.
- 2:04:55SPEAKER_16: And none of the and none of the kids are are learning anything.
- 2:04:58SPEAKER_16: And the reason they're not learning anything is because we're not teaching them anything, other than this is how you go out and protest.
- 2:05:04SPEAKER_16: This is how you go out and challenge authority.
- 2:05:07SPEAKER_16: I mean, our school systems are so messed up.
- 2:05:10SPEAKER_16: Uh and this is why businesses aren't gonna come here either.
- 2:05:14SPEAKER_16: You know, when I was growing up, and these are you know companies that probably people don't even remember anymore, but you know, you had Spurray, Univac, I mean, Honeywell was here.
- 2:05:21SPEAKER_16: People would come to Minnesota and build a business because it was a great business environment.
- 2:05:26SPEAKER_16: Taxes weren't sky high.
- 2:05:28SPEAKER_16: And here's the other key, too.
- 2:05:30SPEAKER_16: I'm gonna bring employees to Minnesota, they've got a great school system.
- 2:05:34SPEAKER_16: So not only are we gonna be able to find great employees because of the school system, but our kids are gonna get a great education.
- 2:05:41SPEAKER_16: Who wants to come to Minnesota now knowing that you can go to Mississippi and get a better education?
- 2:05:46SPEAKER_16: So we we're destroying Minnesota in just so many different areas.
- 2:05:50SPEAKER_16: And and the sad thing is, John, it's fixable.
- 2:05:53SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 2:05:53SPEAKER_16: It's all fixable.
- 2:05:55SPEAKER_14: That's the part of it that drive that I think drives me the most nuts.
- 2:05:58SPEAKER_14: And and I think for a lot of the audience too, is you're right, it's fixable.
- 2:06:01SPEAKER_14: We could be one of those turnaround stories that we've seen, you know, throughout the past 30 years.
- 2:06:07SPEAKER_14: When you whether you mentioned you know New Yorker earlier, or you talk about uh electric San Francisco, there's been a word coming up that they've actually been turning things around a bit in Detroit.
- 2:06:18SPEAKER_14: To your point earlier, John, uh talking with John Nagel, the Republican nominee, uh taking on Ilhan Omar in the fifth congressional district.
- 2:06:26SPEAKER_14: Um, yeah, that's a result.
- 2:06:32SPEAKER_14: Uh it's completely and totally unacceptable.
- 2:06:35SPEAKER_14: I know we had the news this morning that they were looking at closing schools in Minneapolis because of the budget shortfall and yet because the public is outraged.
- 2:06:43SPEAKER_14: And I understand why.
- 2:06:44SPEAKER_14: But decisions have to be made.
- 2:06:46SPEAKER_14: They're not gonna be closing.
- 2:06:47SPEAKER_14: I don't know where they're gonna find the money.
- 2:06:49SPEAKER_14: I mean the solutions aren't aren't they're not looking at the right solutions, and when they look at solutions that could potentially help the problem, they push them off to the wayside.
- 2:06:57SPEAKER_14: So it doesn't look like things are gonna be getting any uh better on that front uh either, John.
- 2:07:02SPEAKER_16: Well, maybe they can take some of that disruptor money that they were using and put it towards their education system.
- 2:07:08SPEAKER_14: You know, hey, next time one of the one time next time one of the national news media uh reached out to me to come on to talk about Ilhan Omar, I think I may just shoot them your information because I think uh your commentary about the uh the 5th Congressional District might be uh might be relevant to the current controversies surrounding uh the uh the congresswoman.
- 2:07:26SPEAKER_16: You know, and and like I said, um we need to be really careful, these are all you know accusations, but but the old saying, you know, where there's smoke, there's probably fire, and I'll tell you, there's a whole lot of smoke in this investigation.
- 2:07:39SPEAKER_16: And again, the people that are talking about this, um, these aren't conspiracy theorists people talking about it.
- 2:07:46SPEAKER_16: These are uh great people, they're well educated, they've got you know legal backgrounds, and they're just saying, hey, for this to happen, uh, this is pretty uh important.
- 2:07:56SPEAKER_16: I mean, there's got to be criminal activity for these things to be going forward.
- 2:08:01SPEAKER_16: And I think it's interesting because I think, John, every single day uh we're gonna start finding out a little bit more and a little bit more and a little bit more.
- 2:08:08SPEAKER_16: The fact that they've now brought in two of her family members for subpoenas, and there's something else too that that people were, you know, it's like, why hasn't she been charged or why hasn't anybody you know gone to jail yet?
- 2:08:18SPEAKER_16: And I'm going, well, you know, the FBI under Biden wasn't allowed to do anything.
- 2:08:22SPEAKER_16: This investigation actually started uh with the Biden administration and then it went nowhere.
- 2:08:28SPEAKER_16: Well, now we actually have, you know, with Cash Patel, we've got an FBI that is a true American FBI.
- 2:08:35SPEAKER_16: Uh we're not looking at uh parents at at uh you know home school meetings anymore.
- 2:08:40SPEAKER_16: We're actually going after bad guys and terrorists.
- 2:08:42SPEAKER_16: So we we have a law enforcement agency that's doing exactly what it's supposed to do.
- 2:08:47SPEAKER_16: And they have to go back and they have to literally go through everything with a fine-toothed comb to make sure that they have a boilerproof case against a sitting congressperson because this is unprecedented as far as I know.
- 2:09:01SPEAKER_16: And and if you're gonna do it, we want them to do it right.
- 2:09:04SPEAKER_16: You know, as a police officer, this is what's really important.
- 2:09:07SPEAKER_16: You know, I don't ever want anybody to go to jail that's innocent.
- 2:09:10SPEAKER_16: I can't think of anything more horrendous than than that.
- 2:09:14SPEAKER_16: So that's why for me as a police officer, do your homework, get the evidence, make sure that you know you've got all these people that are that are witnesses.
- 2:09:23SPEAKER_16: You don't think, John, that all of these people are going to jail that somewhere along the line somebody says, hey, you know, uh how much time can I get off if uh if I let you know that there's this person over here that you know you should go talk to?
- 2:09:36SPEAKER_16: Uh, you know, we we've had a lot of people go to jail, and uh, you know, it it's just a matter of time.
- 2:09:42SPEAKER_16: So again, my own humble personal opinion as a as a voter in Minnesota, Elon Omar is the last person on earth I want representing me.
- 2:09:54SPEAKER_16: Uh I want somebody that's gonna go to Congress and is gonna actually bring stuff back to Minnesota and love their country.
- 2:10:01SPEAKER_16: You know, I'm I'm sick and tired of these people that they hate America.
- 2:10:04SPEAKER_16: If you hate America so bad, go back to your home country, please.
- 2:10:09SPEAKER_14: The website NagelforCongress.com, that's N-A-G-E-L for Congress.com.
- 2:10:15SPEAKER_14: Thank you uh for sticking it out uh through some of our technical problems.
- 2:10:18SPEAKER_14: It was fantastic uh speaking with you.
- 2:10:20SPEAKER_14: Uh and uh continued good luck in your campaign, uh John.
- 2:10:24SPEAKER_14: Uh, thank you so much for joining us this morning on the show.
- 2:10:26SPEAKER_14: I greatly appreciate it.
- 2:10:27SPEAKER_16: Hey, John, thank you so much.
- 2:10:28SPEAKER_16: You know, you lost your calling with that last name of Justice.
- 2:10:31SPEAKER_16: Can you imagine having a nameplate that said, hey, I'm Officer Justice?
- 2:10:35SPEAKER_14: When I started off at the Academy of Radio Broadcasting, because my real last name is Lo Judice, but it's entirely too hard to pronounce, especially when you see it on paper, but it means justice in Italian.
- 2:10:46SPEAKER_14: I had an instructor at the Academy of Radio Broadcasting who thought I should use a a sheriff star and two six shooters as part of my uh as part of my logo.
- 2:10:54SPEAKER_16: So either that or you can either that or do a mountain and say I am on the mountain of justice.
- 2:11:01SPEAKER_14: Thank you so much for the time, John.
- 2:11:02SPEAKER_14: It was great speaking with you.
- 2:11:03SPEAKER_14: And uh we'll talk to you again before uh before it's time for everybody to head to the polls on election day.
- 2:11:08SPEAKER_16: And that's important.
- 2:11:09SPEAKER_16: People have got to vote.
- 2:11:10SPEAKER_16: That's what's gonna make a difference.
- 2:11:12SPEAKER_14: Uh NagelforCongress.com.
- 2:11:14SPEAKER_14: Thanks, John.
- 2:11:15SPEAKER_16: Thank you.
- 2:11:16SPEAKER_14: All right, coming up, I'm very pleased to welcome into uh studio.
- 2:11:19SPEAKER_14: We have members from Turning Point USA.
- 2:11:21SPEAKER_14: Riley Gaines is in town this evening, University of Minnesota, the Kaufman Memorial Union Center at uh 630, and we'll be talking with uh Dalton Nelson, Max Bieler, and Ashley Glasgow.
- 2:11:32SPEAKER_14: Next on the show, we'll get to some of your thoughts on the blaster line as well at 651-964-0294.
- 2:11:39SPEAKER_14: I want to remind you though, right now, with everything going on in the world, the last thing that you want to be doing is not getting a good night's sleep and carrying around a lot of weight that you don't need.
- 2:11:48SPEAKER_14: You might think that heading into the holidays, you don't want to go on a weight loss journey, but now is the perfect time to do so.
- 2:11:55SPEAKER_14: Think about it before you get to those amazing Thanksgiving meals and Christmas meals and time.
- 2:12:00SPEAKER_14: With friends and family, you could drop the weight through this smarter approach to weight loss.
- 2:12:05SPEAKER_14: I've lost 30 pounds on the program, no gimmicks, no shots, and no pills with Neutrowave and Nutrowave.us.
- 2:12:12SPEAKER_14: If you're overweight, you're on medication, you're tired all the time, your body may be telling you the story that the scale is not informing you about.
- 2:12:21SPEAKER_14: This is how and why you need the truth metabolic session from Neutrowave.
- 2:12:25SPEAKER_14: It's completely free, but you'll see the muscle mass, your metabolic age, your body fat.
- 2:12:31SPEAKER_14: I think my metabolic age was like 70 something or other.
- 2:12:34SPEAKER_14: It was ridiculous.
- 2:12:35SPEAKER_14: It's changed now because I've lost the weight and I've kept the weight off with this amazing program.
- 2:12:39SPEAKER_14: You make the phone call today and you get the truth metabolic session completely free, a free red light therapy session, completely free, just for finding out how the program works.
- 2:12:48SPEAKER_14: Call today, mention my name, John Justice to 952-260-1965.
- 2:12:53SPEAKER_14: That's 952-260-1965 for neutrawave.us, Neutrowave Indy Dynah.
- 2:13:00SPEAKER_14: Individual results may vary, but no pills, no shots, just Neutrowave.
- 2:13:04SPEAKER_14: There's nothing else like it.
- 2:13:06SPEAKER_04: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 2:13:11SPEAKER_04: I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 2:13:15SPEAKER_04: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 2:13:21SPEAKER_04: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Categories for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 2:13:27SPEAKER_04: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in design.
- 2:13:40SPEAKER_04: So how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 2:13:45SPEAKER_04: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of a school board and administrative accountability.
- 2:13:53SPEAKER_04: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 2:13:57SPEAKER_04: Go to the blog section of my website at reelectjoscott.com and ECCSMCA scores.com.
- 2:14:07SPEAKER_14: Selling your home is more than just putting a sign in the yard.
- 2:14:10SPEAKER_14: It's about making the right decisions before that sign ever goes up.
- 2:14:14SPEAKER_14: And that's the advisor advantage you get from Hallway North Real Estate Advisors.
- 2:14:18SPEAKER_14: When you talk to them about selling your home, instead of simply telling you what your home is worth and putting it on the market, Hallway North Real Estate Advisors help you maximize the value before it's listed.
- 2:14:31SPEAKER_14: Maybe there's a new remodeling project that makes sense or one that doesn't.
- 2:14:35SPEAKER_14: It's certainly worth giving them a call before you spend the money.
- 2:14:39SPEAKER_14: And when it's ready, they'll get it cleaned, staged, photographed, listed, and advocate for your best offer.
- 2:14:45SPEAKER_14: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors don't just sell your home, they put you in the best position to get the most of the investment that you've already made.
- 2:14:54SPEAKER_14: That's the advisor advantage.
- 2:14:56SPEAKER_14: Go to hallwayNorth.com to schedule your free one-on-one in-home consultation to see how you can get the most equity for your home.
- 2:15:04SPEAKER_14: That's hallwaynorth.com.
- 2:15:06SPEAKER_14: Hallway North real estate advisors.
- 2:15:09SPEAKER_14: They're more than just realtors, they're your personal advisors, brokered by Bridge Realty.
- 2:15:15SPEAKER_04: Hi, I'm Joe Scott, and I'm the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools Board.
- 2:15:21SPEAKER_04: I'm also the only incumbent who supports balanced budgets, key performance indicators in our superintendent's contract, and counting everyone's vote every time in school board elections.
- 2:15:34SPEAKER_04: Our enrollment has been declining since 2018, and we lose 1,300 of our resident students each year to neighboring districts.
- 2:15:44SPEAKER_04: I have solutions, but the majority of the school board and administration are stuck in the status quo.
- 2:15:51SPEAKER_04: You can vote as early as Friday, September 18th, and I'd appreciate your support.
- 2:15:56SPEAKER_04: To learn more about me and how I stand on other school board issues, visit reelectjoescott.com.
- 2:16:04SPEAKER_04: If you'd like to see our school district's Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Proficiency Scores, go to ECCSMCA scores.com.
- 2:16:17SPEAKER_14: If a woman finds out she is pregnant and feels scared and alone, Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 2:16:25SPEAKER_14: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 2:16:35SPEAKER_14: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 2:16:42SPEAKER_14: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 2:16:49SPEAKER_14: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 2:16:53SPEAKER_14: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 2:16:58SPEAKER_29: Hey, good morning, John.
- 2:17:00SPEAKER_29: Um regarding uh one of your callers who was kind of mocking another caller about being black pilled and being a downer, a real Eeyore here.
- 2:17:07SPEAKER_29: I can actually I've been definitely microdosing the blackpill.
- 2:17:12SPEAKER_29: Um there is no the other four.
- 2:17:17SPEAKER_29: Um be removed.
- 2:17:25SPEAKER_29: Um Republican um going after Omar.
- 2:17:50SPEAKER_29: Sounds awesome, super competent dude.
- 2:17:53SPEAKER_29: Uh so he for sure will not get in.
- 2:17:58SPEAKER_14: It's just a matter of mentality.
- 2:18:00SPEAKER_14: I listen, everybody's entitled to their opinion.
- 2:18:03SPEAKER_14: Uh I personally, and I appreciate your comments and leave them however you'd like, and I'm open to all the opinions that are left on the show to the blaster line at 651-964-0294 here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:18:16SPEAKER_14: I just don't find that talk productive.
- 2:18:18SPEAKER_14: That's all.
- 2:18:19SPEAKER_14: I I just I have a different mentality uh than that.
- 2:18:22SPEAKER_14: Uh I'd rather remain positive, keep up the energy, move forward in a positive way, and believe that anything is is possible.
- 2:18:30SPEAKER_14: You know, will things turn out the way that we expect?
- 2:18:33SPEAKER_14: Nobody knows until after election day.
- 2:18:35SPEAKER_14: But I just find that attitude to largely be unproductive.
- 2:18:38SPEAKER_14: You're entitled to have it, uh, and uh a lot of people do.
- 2:18:42SPEAKER_14: I just again I find it, I find it not productive when we're looking at uh turning things around for the for the better.
- 2:18:49SPEAKER_14: You know, a lot of times I think people just need to chill.
- 2:18:52SPEAKER_14: Put things in God's hands or get yourself some fun gummies or some spooky mini leaf tonics from mini leaf, by the way, M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 2:19:01SPEAKER_14: That's minileaf.com.
- 2:19:02SPEAKER_14: That's where I get my night gummies.
- 2:19:04SPEAKER_14: That's how I get my good night's sleep.
- 2:19:05SPEAKER_14: And not just me, Teresa left a five-star review.
- 2:19:09SPEAKER_14: Absolutely love your product.
- 2:19:10SPEAKER_14: It's changed my life in the way that I sleep.
- 2:19:12SPEAKER_14: I've referred you to many of my boomer friends, and they are extremely happy as well.
- 2:19:17SPEAKER_14: Thanks for helping all of us uh out.
- 2:19:20SPEAKER_14: M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 2:19:22SPEAKER_14: That's minileaf.com.
- 2:19:23SPEAKER_14: You'll taste happy at minileaf.com.
- 2:19:26SPEAKER_14: Right now, I am happy, and I'm very pleased to welcome into the studio.
- 2:19:29SPEAKER_14: We have uh a full house.
- 2:19:31SPEAKER_14: Uh Dalton Nelson is the Midwest Regional Director for Turning Point USA.
- 2:19:36SPEAKER_14: Max Bieler, the North Star field representative here in uh Minnesota, who I had no idea.
- 2:19:41SPEAKER_14: We follow each other on uh on X as I went looking for all your profiles.
- 2:19:45SPEAKER_14: And I think Dalton, I think I was, I think you were following me as well.
- 2:19:48SPEAKER_14: So also uh Ashley uh Glasgow, uh deputy director of Turning Point uh USA uh College.
- 2:19:54SPEAKER_14: Uh thank you so much for coming in uh to the studio this morning.
- 2:19:58SPEAKER_14: We have Riley Gaines uh coming to town, Kaufman Memorial Union Center this evening at 6 30.
- 2:20:03SPEAKER_14: Dalton, we'll start with you.
- 2:20:05SPEAKER_14: Um expectations for uh tonight's uh event for those that are planning on attending.
- 2:20:10SPEAKER_14: And thank you so much for coming in studio this morning.
- 2:20:12SPEAKER_23: Well thanks for having us.
- 2:20:12SPEAKER_23: It's gonna be a very fun event.
- 2:20:13SPEAKER_23: I'm super excited.
- 2:20:14SPEAKER_23: Riley Gaines obviously is one of the biggest voices in the space for protecting women's sports and keeping men out of women's sports, which is something that in Minnesota is still such a big problem, unfortunately.
- 2:20:24SPEAKER_23: One of the last states that still wants to push this issue, and it's it's sad to see.
- 2:20:28SPEAKER_23: I mean, just last year there was a a teenage girl softball team that lost because they competed against a male athlete in Minnesota, one of the last states still loving this topic.
- 2:20:38SPEAKER_23: So it's really important that she's coming here tonight.
- 2:20:40SPEAKER_23: I'm super excited for it.
- 2:20:41SPEAKER_23: I will say there's gonna be some uh a circus.
- 2:20:43SPEAKER_23: We already have planned protests.
- 2:20:44SPEAKER_23: They're excited to be there.
- 2:20:45SPEAKER_23: Of course there is.
- 2:20:46SPEAKER_23: And uh we have a guy that Max and I have seen at multiple events now.
- 2:20:49SPEAKER_23: He comes there, he uh I already know I already know who you're talking about.
- 2:20:53SPEAKER_23: Yeah, he's a known activist across Minneapolis.
- 2:20:56SPEAKER_23: And uh I'm excited to see him again.
- 2:20:57SPEAKER_23: It'll be fun.
- 2:20:58SPEAKER_23: Um, I believe this is it.
- 2:21:00SPEAKER_14: This is probably this is probably the individual who has abortion in his ex-handle.
- 2:21:04SPEAKER_14: Is it that?
- 2:21:05SPEAKER_14: Max Max Max knows who I'm who I'm talking about uh uh already.
- 2:21:08SPEAKER_14: Yeah, these people need professional help.
- 2:21:11SPEAKER_14: I'm not talking about like one individual, like they need a team.
- 2:21:14SPEAKER_14: Uh Max Bieler, uh Norse uh North Star field representative.
- 2:21:18SPEAKER_14: Um, you live currently here in Minnesota, right?
- 2:21:21SPEAKER_14: Uh where how far are you from uh from our neck of the woods here?
- 2:21:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm born and raised in Minnesota.
- 2:21:25SPEAKER_00: I'm about uh I'm just on the other side of the Twin Cities, about 40 minutes from here.
- 2:21:28SPEAKER_14: Never a dull moment, as uh as uh as you uh as you know.
- 2:21:32SPEAKER_14: When did you get started with Turning Point USA?
- 2:21:35SPEAKER_00: Uh I officially started working with Turning Point USA uh like a year and three months ago-ish now.
- 2:21:40SPEAKER_14: So what um what was the what was the impetus?
- 2:21:44SPEAKER_14: What what what had you join uh what had you go and join Turning Point USA?
- 2:21:47SPEAKER_00: Uh I was coming out of college, graduating with a political science degree, and uh those are kind of useless.
- 2:21:52SPEAKER_00: So figured I'd go do something in politics that was actually useful, uh saving college campuses where where the battleground is mostly nowadays for for the next generation of students.
- 2:22:03SPEAKER_14: Uh Ashley, uh the college deputy director at Turning Point uh USA.
- 2:22:07SPEAKER_14: Now, were you raised in Phoenix?
- 2:22:10SPEAKER_14: Is that where you call home?
- 2:22:11SPEAKER_14: Or I know you have a Phoenix connection.
- 2:22:13SPEAKER_14: I only mentioned that because I was in uh Tucson for uh almost uh almost a decade.
- 2:22:17SPEAKER_14: So talk a little bit about you, uh where you're from and what you do for a turning point USA.
- 2:22:22SPEAKER_45: Yeah, so I'm actually from Colorado.
- 2:22:25SPEAKER_45: So another kind of crazy state, a lot of issues there to solve.
- 2:22:28SPEAKER_45: Um, and that is where I still call home.
- 2:22:31SPEAKER_45: I'm in Phoenix a lot at headquarters, but I got my start with Turning Point pretty much fresh out of college.
- 2:22:38SPEAKER_45: Um, and I've been here for over four years now, and now I oversee all college staff personnel.
- 2:22:45SPEAKER_45: So it's been a blessing.
- 2:22:47SPEAKER_14: How have things, I'll I'll keep it with you, Ashley.
- 2:22:50SPEAKER_14: Um, how have the efforts been with Turning Point USA, uh, especially on com uh college campuses, uh, since we lost uh Charlie Kirk?
- 2:22:58SPEAKER_14: How have things been how have things been unfolding since then?
- 2:23:00SPEAKER_14: Obviously, it's a difficult situation with Turning Point losing its leader, especially the way uh that you did and how we all lost Charlie, but I'm curious how things have been going since then.
- 2:23:09SPEAKER_45: Yeah, I mean, it's more important than ever to be involved in Turning Point, and our mission has stayed the exact same since losing Charlie.
- 2:23:18SPEAKER_45: Um, today would have been his 33rd birthday.
- 2:23:22SPEAKER_45: Um, and so yeah, days like this are of course heavy and really hard.
- 2:23:26SPEAKER_45: Um, I was actually talking to one of our students at the University of Wyoming who's been involved for a long time, and uh I was asking him basically just how has it impacted you as a student a year later?
- 2:23:38SPEAKER_45: And he said that like being a part of Turning Point has always been fun, it's always been amazing, but it's so much more serious now.
- 2:23:46SPEAKER_45: Like things just got so much more real for our students and for our staff, and so it's been hard, but we remain the same.
- 2:23:54SPEAKER_14: 33.
- 2:23:55SPEAKER_14: I guess I didn't realize that he was that that he that he was so young, you know.
- 2:24:00SPEAKER_14: Um and I get you just don't think about that.
- 2:24:03SPEAKER_14: He uh Charlie Kirk had such a knowledge and and and carried with him such a level of wisdom while he went to go do what he did on the college uh campuses uh to be reminded of his age.
- 2:24:16SPEAKER_14: Um it takes me, it, you know, it it hits me, it strikes me hard.
- 2:24:20SPEAKER_14: He had a long, a long life ahead of him.
- 2:24:23SPEAKER_14: Um, you know, thankfully there's individuals like yourself that are carrying on with his uh with his mission.
- 2:24:28SPEAKER_14: Um Max, uh, you know, your uh your experience with Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, and um reflect a little bit on this, you know, being uh it would have been when you celebrated his 33rd birthday.
- 2:24:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Charlie played an incredible like Charlie had an incredible impact on my life as like in middle school.
- 2:24:45SPEAKER_00: That's how Charlie was one of my gateway people into politics.
- 2:24:48SPEAKER_00: So I he formed and shaped my political ideology, like in opinion, up through my whole entire life.
- 2:24:54SPEAKER_00: I had a turning point chapter when I was in high school, so I got I got involved with with Charlie uh in high school and I got to meet him, thankfully, a couple times here in Minnesota along the way.
- 2:25:04SPEAKER_00: Um and I was only only got to work under under Charlie for like a few months, and that was something um that everyone looked forward to working for Charlie.
- 2:25:16SPEAKER_00: That was an amazing opportunity, and it was sad to that it only we only got to last so long, but I'm so honored now that I get to keep his memory alive by doing the work that that he started.
- 2:25:29SPEAKER_14: Uh Dalton, how about you?
- 2:25:30SPEAKER_14: Um your um your time with uh with Charlie Kirk and um you know how how things changed for you in your in your mission with Turning Point USA since his passing.
- 2:25:40SPEAKER_23: I think like Ashley said, it went from just like a fun social club on campus to students actually wanting to be real activists and doing work.
- 2:25:47SPEAKER_23: Once you see the head guy get taken out so publicly like that, it changes the mentality for everybody like us stepping on the campuses every day.
- 2:25:55SPEAKER_23: And the students that we're trying to empower and encourage to go on their campus, because some students honestly they get scared right away.
- 2:26:01SPEAKER_23: But now after they see that people like Max and like Ashley and you know, like myself around the country being with them every day, we make sure that they continue to be empowered.
- 2:26:09SPEAKER_23: So I think for me personally, the last year, it's been tough because a lot of people are easy to it's like it's for me, it's hard to forgive.
- 2:26:15SPEAKER_23: It's hard to move on from that day.
- 2:26:18SPEAKER_23: I feel like I've never moved past that day in a lot of ways.
- 2:26:20SPEAKER_14: Um, if you guys don't mind my asking, how old how old are you guys?
- 2:26:23SPEAKER_14: You might go around the room?
- 2:26:24SPEAKER_14: Ashley, do you mind my asking?
- 2:26:25SPEAKER_45: Yeah, no, I'm 26.
- 2:26:27SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 2:26:27SPEAKER_14: Uh Max, how about you?
- 2:26:28SPEAKER_14: 23.
- 2:26:28SPEAKER_14: Okay, and Dalton?
- 2:26:29SPEAKER_14: I just turned 25.
- 2:26:30SPEAKER_14: Okay.
- 2:26:31SPEAKER_14: Um, I I I ask you all this for a reason.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_14: Uh it's not easy.
- 2:26:36SPEAKER_14: Uh I've been doing this for about 30 years now.
- 2:26:38SPEAKER_14: I spent the first uh eight eight and a half years.
- 2:26:42SPEAKER_14: I was doing rock radio before I moved into into into news talk.
- 2:26:47SPEAKER_14: Um it's not easy when you end up in the public spotlight and you have to deal with um irrational uh individuals.
- 2:26:57SPEAKER_14: It's not easy when you're called names for anybody.
- 2:27:00SPEAKER_14: Uh and if you're not used to that, it can be a very difficult uh thing to to handle.
- 2:27:06SPEAKER_14: Um how are you guys handling it?
- 2:27:08SPEAKER_14: And I say this because uh as I was prepping this morning, I didn't grab the audio, and I specifically didn't grab it uh because I didn't want to give the person any attention, and it's one of many that I saw.
- 2:27:18SPEAKER_14: Um and it must have been because of the of his birthday.
- 2:27:21SPEAKER_14: Um but I saw a video uh horrendous.
- 2:27:23SPEAKER_14: It was a young woman, um, you know, Ashley, probably your age, you know, I looks similar to you, honestly.
- 2:27:30SPEAKER_14: Uh and she was basically gloating over uh his passing once again, celebrating his death, uh talking about how she didn't care if she took the heat, she didn't care she got fired, and of course, you know, casting criticism upon Turning Point USA.
- 2:27:46SPEAKER_14: Um, you know, Ashley, we'll start with you.
- 2:27:48SPEAKER_14: I mean, uh what kind of opposition have you dealt with and what's it been like uh dealing with that?
- 2:27:53SPEAKER_14: Assuming I'm assuming that you all have in some way, shape, or form.
- 2:27:56SPEAKER_14: Um, so what's that been like for you?
- 2:27:58SPEAKER_14: And has that been a difficult thing to handle?
- 2:28:00SPEAKER_45: Mm-hmm.
- 2:28:01SPEAKER_45: Yeah.
- 2:28:02SPEAKER_45: I mean, like Dalton said, it is so difficult to look these people in the eye and take them seriously and think of them as another part of God's creation because the way that they treat us and the way that they speak about Charlie is absolutely mind-boggling.
- 2:28:18SPEAKER_45: I mean, it's the most disgusting, heinous things are said to all of our students, to all of us while we're on campus.
- 2:28:24SPEAKER_45: There was an event yesterday at Cal Poly Humboldt where people literally walked up to the microphone and were flashing their chest and their top scars and stuff like that, and just absolutely celebrating the death of Charlie, saying how glad that they are that he is dead and that they don't care, and it just doesn't seem to matter or affect these people the way that it should affect other human beings.
- 2:28:51SPEAKER_14: Uh Max, how about you?
- 2:28:52SPEAKER_14: What have you dealt with and uh has it been difficult for you?
- 2:28:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's absolutely been difficult.
- 2:28:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's it's hard to it can be hard at times to stay motivated going on campuses every day and working with these students.
- 2:29:04SPEAKER_00: I table at the University of Minnesota very often and on a very frequent basis on that campus, I get told to kill myself and to get off campus fascist, and the getting told to kill yourself is a very like real thing that happens on a very consistent basis at the University of Minnesota.
- 2:29:19SPEAKER_00: Um but it's it's easy to it's easy to keep going through prayer.
- 2:29:27SPEAKER_00: I have a very supportive wife, and I know what we are doing is is in a pursuit of truth and and it is righteous.
- 2:29:35SPEAKER_00: So it's it's easy to keep going with that in mind.
- 2:29:37SPEAKER_14: Uh Dalton, I want to go to you in just a moment.
- 2:29:39SPEAKER_14: I want to stick with Max for uh for a second.
- 2:29:41SPEAKER_14: Uh you're a field representative.
- 2:29:43SPEAKER_14: So talk a little bit about you know, sort of the ground game here in Minnesota, what you what you do, and what's the experience uh been like?
- 2:29:51SPEAKER_14: You're you're kind of in the belly of the beast, as you mentioned, uh especially with everything that's been going on here in the in the state.
- 2:29:59SPEAKER_14: You would think that these controversies would rally everybody together, but it doesn't.
- 2:30:03SPEAKER_14: It seems to drive us further apart.
- 2:30:05SPEAKER_14: So um what's it like to be the field director and how have the efforts been going with Turning Point USA, Max?
- 2:30:10SPEAKER_00: We've actually had a really solid showing here in Minnesota in the last um last couple years that I've been here.
- 2:30:16SPEAKER_00: Right now we're at uh 16 college can 16 colleges across the state of Minnesota.
- 2:30:21SPEAKER_00: Um I'm on campus Monday through Thursday, usually at at any given location from Mankato to the U of M up to Duluth.
- 2:30:28SPEAKER_00: So I'm all over the state, and and we definitely see a lot of some more disgusting things in some places than others.
- 2:30:35SPEAKER_00: Um the U of M and Duluth are probably two of the worst uh in the state, but we find we have many promising students and very many active students at at across all these campuses.
- 2:30:45SPEAKER_00: So the the hope is not lost and the movement is still is still growing and alive and well.
- 2:30:50SPEAKER_14: Uh we're talking with uh Ashley.
- 2:30:52SPEAKER_14: She's the uh deputy director of Turning Point USA uh college, uh Max Bieler uh here from Minnesota, the North Start Field Representative, and also uh Dalton, the Midwest uh regional manager.
- 2:31:02SPEAKER_14: Dalton, I have to suspect that you've uh had your fair share of uh of criticism in your uh in your role nationally, which obviously differs from from what Max does as well.
- 2:31:11SPEAKER_14: Talk a little bit about um what you've experienced and how do you how do you handle it personally?
- 2:31:15SPEAKER_14: Because as I mentioned before, I know firsthand um it's it's not easy.
- 2:31:19SPEAKER_14: It's not easy when you have people that are tossing you it you you aren't these things, but it's not easy to have anybody get in your face and say to you that they believe you are all these things.
- 2:31:27SPEAKER_14: So talk a little bit about your experience.
- 2:31:29SPEAKER_23: Well, I started with turning point as a field rep in North Dakota and South Dakota primarily.
- 2:31:33SPEAKER_23: So I'd go to NDSU most of the time or University of North Dakota, and and I live in Fargo, so very, very conservative area.
- 2:31:39SPEAKER_23: So then taking over the entire Midwest, going to Chicago campuses and coming to Minneapolis all the time.
- 2:31:43SPEAKER_23: I do think the University of Minnesota politically is my least favorite college in the entire country.
- 2:31:47SPEAKER_23: But there's a lot of potential there for events and sorry, Max.
- 2:31:51SPEAKER_23: I'm sorry.
- 2:31:51SPEAKER_23: But getting conservatives across Minneapolis, it's so important to continue to do events at places like this and places like in Denver, Colorado, or in Chicago, because we bring out the closeted conservatives who are too scared to be active.
- 2:32:02SPEAKER_23: We get them together.
- 2:32:02SPEAKER_23: But for me personally, I uh I mean on my own Facebook account, I had to take all the pictures of my family off there completely because I have people like DMing me on Instagram, like saying the name of my daughter and saying crazy, crazy things.
- 2:32:14SPEAKER_23: So I took all the pictures of her off there.
- 2:32:15SPEAKER_23: I'm like a private on Facebook now.
- 2:32:17SPEAKER_23: There's nothing of my wife or my kids or anything.
- 2:32:20SPEAKER_23: Um, and like my Instagram account, I went private as well.
- 2:32:22SPEAKER_23: Uh it it was hard to separate work from life when people are coming into your DMs directly all the time.
- 2:32:31SPEAKER_23: And even like on my Facebook messages too, like crazy things like that.
- 2:32:34SPEAKER_23: But the way, kind of like Max said, we're doing righteous work, the way that I handle it and deal with it is these are like the most sad and unhealthy and medicated people in the entire country that are coming at us every day.
- 2:32:45SPEAKER_23: We're we couldn't be further apart ideal ideologically, you know, physically, everything in between.
- 2:32:51SPEAKER_23: So I it's easy for me to go there, have these people say these things, then go back to a productive, normal lifestyle when I know these people are going back to their trans lovers and their furry friends, like in just a world that should not exist.
- 2:33:02SPEAKER_23: So that's how I I handle it all.
- 2:33:04SPEAKER_14: Why do you I I'm curious to get your to get your you know, uh for the for the trio, I'm curious to get your perspective.
- 2:33:12SPEAKER_14: Um why do you think people respond this way?
- 2:33:14SPEAKER_14: I uh you guys wouldn't.
- 2:33:17SPEAKER_14: I wouldn't, you know.
- 2:33:18SPEAKER_14: I don't uh you know I have foes of the show that listen uh to the show more than all the friends of the show do.
- 2:33:23SPEAKER_14: Usually you get people on average listening about 20 minutes and then they go about their daily life.
- 2:33:28SPEAKER_14: Uh the people that disagree with almost everything I say, they listen from from start at six till nine, um, and every single day.
- 2:33:35SPEAKER_14: And I don't understand that.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_14: Like I can't relate to it.
- 2:33:37SPEAKER_14: Why do you think um you face such resistance?
- 2:33:42SPEAKER_14: What do what do you think the threat is from those individuals?
- 2:33:44SPEAKER_23: Well, I think when you're doing the right thing or why they may feel threatened, they should say, sorry.
- 2:33:48SPEAKER_23: You know you're speaking for the truth, you know you're doing the right thing, you know you're acting in a biblical manner with the work you're doing.
- 2:33:54SPEAKER_23: It upsets a lot of people.
- 2:33:55SPEAKER_23: And I used to really disagree, and people would say it's good versus evil.
- 2:33:58SPEAKER_23: I hated that conversation.
- 2:34:00SPEAKER_23: Now I completely believe it and completely agree.
- 2:34:02SPEAKER_23: Because the people who are coming up to our faces and celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk or whatever it is, celebrating abortions and things like that, those really are the most evil people.
- 2:34:10SPEAKER_23: And I generally like to consider us good people.
- 2:34:12SPEAKER_23: So it really is good versus evil now.
- 2:34:14SPEAKER_23: And I can't really put myself in their mindset of how they're able to say these things.
- 2:34:19SPEAKER_23: Because I would never go up to an LGBTQ table or whatever it might be on campus and say anything.
- 2:34:23SPEAKER_23: I would just avoid it.
- 2:34:24SPEAKER_14: Right.
- 2:34:25SPEAKER_14: Max and Ashley, and Max, we'll start with you.
- 2:34:28SPEAKER_14: Um have you lost friendships because of your involvement with turning point uh turning point USA?
- 2:34:34SPEAKER_14: How has it impacted your your life?
- 2:34:36SPEAKER_14: I'm gonna turn this around and get some positive stuff going here in just a moment, just so you guys are aware.
- 2:34:40SPEAKER_14: I know we're hanging on some negatives, but don't worry.
- 2:34:42SPEAKER_14: I got a plan here.
- 2:34:43SPEAKER_14: We're on a we're on a ride.
- 2:34:44SPEAKER_14: But I'm curious, uh, you know, uh when it comes to maintaining, you know, friendships and relationships, you know, have you had has it been difficult being involved in Turning Point USA Max?
- 2:34:53SPEAKER_00: It might have been in high school, but I burned all the bridges in high school.
- 2:34:56SPEAKER_00: So um I only made good connections going forward, surrounded myself with the best people that that shared um my ideology, shared my values, and and I built a very good network of friends and and family that are very supportive of me.
- 2:35:10SPEAKER_00: So it's it's very easy when you surround yourself with with good people that share your values.
- 2:35:15SPEAKER_14: How about you, Ashley?
- 2:35:16SPEAKER_14: How's it uh has it been difficult in terms of friendships when it comes to being involved with Turning Point USA?
- 2:35:21SPEAKER_45: No, I'm not friends with losers, and uh I've never wanted to be friends with people who don't share the same values and ideology that I do.
- 2:35:29SPEAKER_14: Talk a little bit about your role.
- 2:35:31SPEAKER_14: I mean, what is it you do for the uh for the organization?
- 2:35:33SPEAKER_14: What's your goal?
- 2:35:34SPEAKER_45: Yeah.
- 2:35:34SPEAKER_45: So I started out as a field representative just like Max, and I was in all of Colorado, northern New Mexico, and southern Wyoming.
- 2:35:42SPEAKER_45: Then I became a regional manager just like Dalton, oversaw Texas, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, a bunch of other states.
- 2:35:49SPEAKER_45: Um and then I just transitioned into this role in January.
- 2:35:52SPEAKER_45: So now I oversee all personnel within the college department.
- 2:35:55SPEAKER_45: That's made up of 10 regional managers and 60 field representatives across the nation.
- 2:36:01SPEAKER_14: Again, we're talking with uh Ashley, Max, and Dalton.
- 2:36:04SPEAKER_14: Uh they are all with Turning Point USA.
- 2:36:06SPEAKER_14: Riley Gaines is in town this evening.
- 2:36:08SPEAKER_14: We're gonna talk more about this in just a moment.
- 2:36:10SPEAKER_14: Kaufman Memorial Union Center, uh, 630.
- 2:36:13SPEAKER_14: All right, let's talk uh, let's get into the positives.
- 2:36:15SPEAKER_14: And Ashley, we'll keep it on you and we'll go back across with uh with Max and uh and Dalton.
- 2:36:20SPEAKER_14: Um, what's been the most surprising aspect of being involved in Turning Point USA for for you?
- 2:36:26SPEAKER_14: Um anything unexpected in your time being with the uh with the group?
- 2:36:31SPEAKER_45: Hmm, that's a good question.
- 2:36:32SPEAKER_45: Um honestly, I think that when I started college and when I went through my first few years of young adulthood, I uh thought that the world was my oyster, and in many ways it kind of still is.
- 2:36:46SPEAKER_45: But now I cannot imagine working with people and for people that I do not align with in my faith and my values.
- 2:36:53SPEAKER_45: Like I I simply do not understand how some of my friends go to work and work with transgenders and serve transgenders and anyone that they disagree with so wholeheartedly.
- 2:37:06SPEAKER_45: I I just could not do it.
- 2:37:07SPEAKER_14: Well, and I, you know, and unfortunately, that that has, in my opinion, um a lot to do with how you are treated from those individuals.
- 2:37:16SPEAKER_14: There is not this live and let live mentality.
- 2:37:19SPEAKER_14: I've watched it morph throughout my career.
- 2:37:22SPEAKER_14: Um, when it came to the LGBTQ issues at an early age, it was more just about, hey, acceptance, we just want to be equal, you know.
- 2:37:31SPEAKER_14: And for the most part, conservatives were fine with that.
- 2:37:33SPEAKER_14: And it's changed throughout the years to you must now conform.
- 2:37:37SPEAKER_14: You must now affirm, you must now agree with us.
- 2:37:39SPEAKER_14: If not, you're you're against us.
- 2:37:41SPEAKER_14: So I can understand how difficult that might be.
- 2:37:43SPEAKER_14: Um, I am uh hesitant to ask you which field you plan on going into in the future to avoid all of that, but I feel like that's a big unknown unknown right now.
- 2:37:51SPEAKER_14: Yeah, that's what I thought.
- 2:37:52SPEAKER_14: Uh Max, how about you?
- 2:37:54SPEAKER_14: Anything unexpected about um or what you enjoy the most?
- 2:37:56SPEAKER_14: I should go this route as well, of being being involved in Turning Point USA.
- 2:38:00SPEAKER_00: I enjoy the most of seeing students come out of their shell, being those turning those closet of conservatives into very, very outspoken conservatives.
- 2:38:06SPEAKER_00: I've seen many of those transformations from throughout Minnesota College campuses where these students are so hesitant to even come up to the table at uh a fall org fair, and when they finally do, they come to their first meeting and they are so excited to meet friends who share their values and their beliefs, and they be some of those people turn out to be the most outspoken, amazing students that we have on our campuses.
- 2:38:29SPEAKER_14: Uh Dalton, how about you?
- 2:38:31SPEAKER_14: What do you enjoy most about working for Turning Point USA?
- 2:38:34SPEAKER_14: And has been anything that's really been unexpected about working for the organization?
- 2:38:38SPEAKER_23: I think something that was unexpected was I remember the first day I went to training in Phoenix back in 2020.
- 2:38:45SPEAKER_23: There was I I went into this building in Arizona, I didn't really know 100% what I was getting myself into, and quickly it turned into a family.
- 2:38:52SPEAKER_23: Like the organization is everyone's so close to each other at every department.
- 2:38:56SPEAKER_23: We all have we have a faith department, a high school department, all these different organizations that are still under the turning point USA name, but everyone's so close with them and has the same goal.
- 2:39:04SPEAKER_23: So I really like that aspect of it.
- 2:39:05SPEAKER_23: And something that I really, really that was that I like about it, I think kind of like what Max had said, like seeing the students come out of their shelves.
- 2:39:13SPEAKER_23: And I have some students in Chicago who it's obviously one of the hardest places to be an outspoken conservative in the entire country that are some of the greatest leaders in the whole country.
- 2:39:22SPEAKER_23: And they fly across the country for events whenever we have them, and they're you also get to see like those students, then students across the country connect with each other all the time.
- 2:39:30SPEAKER_23: Students in DC and California who are now great friends and talk all the time and want to do events together.
- 2:39:34SPEAKER_23: So there's no other organization like that that intentionally connects students that are all like-minded from across the country.
- 2:39:40SPEAKER_14: How is the organization doing right now?
- 2:39:42SPEAKER_14: I know in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, uh, there was some narratives.
- 2:39:48SPEAKER_14: They seem to have fallen by the wayside, but there were some narratives that the organization was going to struggle.
- 2:39:52SPEAKER_14: It's lost its leader, Erica Kirk can't handle doing this.
- 2:39:55SPEAKER_14: A lot of this was coming from detractors of Turning Point USA.
- 2:39:58SPEAKER_14: But I'd be interested to get the sort of the inside perspective of Turning Point USA's mission.
- 2:40:04SPEAKER_14: Is it staying on mission?
- 2:40:05SPEAKER_14: Has it been more difficult since losing uh Charlie Dalton?
- 2:40:08SPEAKER_14: What can you uh what can you tell us?
- 2:40:10SPEAKER_23: Well, obviously it's been more difficult since losing Charlie.
- 2:40:12SPEAKER_23: I mean, he's the absolute like in my eyes, he was like an actual political rock star.
- 2:40:16SPEAKER_23: Like I put him next to like Michael Jackson.
- 2:40:17SPEAKER_23: Like nobody was as good as or will be as good as Charlie was.
- 2:40:20SPEAKER_23: So losing him is obviously going to be hard to get back to that level in a lot of ways.
- 2:40:25SPEAKER_23: But since September 10th, we have so many students that joined.
- 2:40:28SPEAKER_23: I mean, on an average week, we would get what we call leads.
- 2:40:30SPEAKER_23: It's a new student wanting to join.
- 2:40:31SPEAKER_23: It would be like 15 to 20 a week, maybe.
- 2:40:33SPEAKER_23: And then in the following weeks into October, we got like 300,000, probably more than that, probably 500,000 by the end of it.
- 2:40:40SPEAKER_23: We had to get people from other departments to help us reach out to these leads because we had so many people wanting to join.
- 2:40:45SPEAKER_23: And I I see everything online.
- 2:40:47SPEAKER_23: We're all online all the time, way too much.
- 2:40:49SPEAKER_23: So we see what people are saying, and it's all from people who are outside of the company.
- 2:40:53SPEAKER_23: If you're actually in the office in Phoenix, in you know, the turning point action office in Wisconsin, if you're talking with people on your team, you realize all of that is just so loud and it's all the noise of the people who generally never liked us anyway.
- 2:41:06SPEAKER_23: Now without Charlie, they're just coming even harder and have way more things to say because they feel almost empowered now because the big guy's not here anymore to take them all down like he would have on any campus, any given day, and you know, 365 days a year, he would have done that.
- 2:41:20SPEAKER_23: So I I think things are things are going very, very well.
- 2:41:22SPEAKER_23: I mean, we just did four tour stops in a week, and I think that we last week alone had over 8,000 to 10,000 students come out to events across the entire country.
- 2:41:31SPEAKER_14: Max, do you do a lot of uh have you done a lot of traveling so far?
- 2:41:34SPEAKER_14: You've been basically, you know, here in Minnesota.
- 2:41:36SPEAKER_00: I've done I've done a good bit of traveling.
- 2:41:38SPEAKER_00: I was in Iowa helping out with that tour stop last week, like you said, we had our fantastic men's summit in in the mountains of California this past weekend where we got to uh shape and help grow the minds of some incredible almost 200 young men uh over the weekend, and it was an amazing experience.
- 2:41:53SPEAKER_14: Do you recall where you were there?
- 2:41:54SPEAKER_14: I was I'm I'm born and raised in Southern California, so I'm curious if you know the look the the location of where you were at.
- 2:41:59SPEAKER_00: Uh I flew into Burbang and just up in the mountains from there.
- 2:42:02SPEAKER_00: I forget what the forest is called.
- 2:42:03SPEAKER_14: But you can barely call them mountains there, but they're mountains.
- 2:42:06SPEAKER_14: Yeah.
- 2:42:06SPEAKER_14: Well, 6,000 feet up.
- 2:42:07SPEAKER_14: Yeah, it gets up there.
- 2:42:08SPEAKER_14: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:42:09SPEAKER_14: It's true.
- 2:42:09SPEAKER_14: I guess I shouldn't talk about it here.
- 2:42:10SPEAKER_14: It's mostly flat here in Minnesota for crying out loud.
- 2:42:13SPEAKER_14: Um Ashley, uh, I a lot of traveling for you, I have to assume.
- 2:42:17SPEAKER_14: Do you enjoy that?
- 2:42:18SPEAKER_45: Yeah, no, it's a ton of traveling, and it's so interesting across the country.
- 2:42:22SPEAKER_45: The campuses vary so drastically.
- 2:42:26SPEAKER_45: I mean, going from California to Florida to Alabama to Chicago, it's crazy.
- 2:42:32SPEAKER_45: I mean, you are dealing with a plethora of activists who are aligned with Turning Point, and then the protesters get crazier as you move west.
- 2:42:42SPEAKER_14: Yeah, yeah, and there's no doubt about that.
- 2:42:43SPEAKER_14: Although you get your fair share of crazies, uh crazies here, as you guys will experience tonight.
- 2:42:48SPEAKER_14: And let's go ahead and get to that.
- 2:42:49SPEAKER_14: Before we do, here on the John Justice show, I want to uh again uh let you know uh Dalton, the Midwest Regional Director, Max North, a star field representative here in Minnesota, and Ashley, the uh deputy director for Turning Point USA College, join me in studio ahead of Riley Gaines' appearance tonight.
- 2:43:05SPEAKER_14: Um, this story is relevant from Alpha News.
- 2:43:08SPEAKER_14: Supporters of the proposed change to Minnesota's high school sports eligibility rules are urging the Minnesota State High School League, the MSHSL, uh, to move forward with an amendment that would require participation in sex-separated athletics to be based on biological sex.
- 2:43:28SPEAKER_14: Now, the amendment is being advanced through the Make It Fair Minnesota initiative.
- 2:43:32SPEAKER_14: It would change the MSHSL eligibility rules by requiring students participating in sex-separated sports to compete based on biological sex rather than gender identity.
- 2:43:44SPEAKER_14: It is still stunning to me that we have to have this debate.
- 2:43:48SPEAKER_14: And it's unfortunate that we have to have this debate uh for one, because it does detract from other issues that we should be, you know, talking about.
- 2:43:56SPEAKER_14: However, this is an issue.
- 2:43:57SPEAKER_14: It is important.
- 2:43:58SPEAKER_14: Riley Gaines is going to be here speaking about it.
- 2:44:01SPEAKER_14: Hopefully, this amendment goes through.
- 2:44:03SPEAKER_14: Uh, and with that, let's go ahead and talk about uh Riley uh Gaines and her appearance this evening.
- 2:44:08SPEAKER_14: Uh Dalton, um, again, what can people expect?
- 2:44:10SPEAKER_14: Let's just go back to the beginning.
- 2:44:12SPEAKER_14: What can people expect tonight, apart from the protesters out in front, which hopefully will all be avoided?
- 2:44:17SPEAKER_14: I'm assuming they have some barricades to make sure everybody is separated.
- 2:44:20SPEAKER_14: But um, the Kaufman Memorial Union Center, uh, Riley Gaines is speaking.
- 2:44:24SPEAKER_14: And if people planning on going tonight, uh, what can they expect to hear from her?
- 2:44:27SPEAKER_23: Well, it touched on one thing you said.
- 2:44:28SPEAKER_23: It's gonna be very safe.
- 2:44:29SPEAKER_23: We have campus police who are gonna be there, there's gonna be some Minneapolis PD there, and then we have our own security team that's gonna be all over as well.
- 2:44:35SPEAKER_23: So it's gonna be very, very safe, despite all of the uh the clowns coming out to join in the circus tonight.
- 2:44:40SPEAKER_23: But I'll also say it, Riley is gonna call out people very directly in the state of Minnesota who are still actively pushing this men and women's sports thing.
- 2:44:47SPEAKER_23: And like you said, I cannot believe we're still talking about it.
- 2:44:50SPEAKER_23: Right.
- 2:44:50SPEAKER_23: Even today, in 2026, and I hate when people say that, but in 2026, we're still talking about men and women's sports and how it's supposed to be okay.
- 2:44:57SPEAKER_23: And where I live in Fargo, North Dakota, we have Moorhead right across the river.
- 2:45:01SPEAKER_23: It's such a problem over there, and Moorhead schools are trying to sue North Dakota because we won't let their trans athletes compete women's sports across the river.
- 2:45:08SPEAKER_23: So it's a big problem, not even just in Minneapolis and you know the suburbs, but surrounding states too, who are right on the border.
- 2:45:14SPEAKER_23: It's conflicting so many issues with sports connected to Minnesota and surrounding states.
- 2:45:18SPEAKER_23: But the event's gonna be great.
- 2:45:20SPEAKER_23: Riley loves to call people out, she's gonna be very direct in her messaging, and we'll see, you know, how many people can handle that.
- 2:45:25SPEAKER_14: Uh Bats, it's gotta be great to have uh to have Riley on uh on campus and to have such a noteworthy individual, especially in a place like the University of uh Minnesota.
- 2:45:34SPEAKER_14: Your thoughts on tonight's event?
- 2:45:35SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be absolutely amazing.
- 2:45:36SPEAKER_00: She is uh she's gonna crush the libs, she's gonna be a QA section, they are going to be certainly all mad.
- 2:45:42SPEAKER_00: Like we'll see how many, I'm sure there will be plenty of protesters that end up uh sneaking their way inside um to ask questions, which we welcome.
- 2:45:49SPEAKER_00: That's what we're here for.
- 2:45:50SPEAKER_00: Open open dialogue and diversity of thought.
- 2:45:53SPEAKER_00: But it is a shame that this problem is still as big as it is in Minnesota, and I think Riley is the perfect uh person to tackle it.
- 2:45:58SPEAKER_00: Um I hope the Minnesota State High School League does the right thing on that and makes that.
- 2:46:02SPEAKER_00: I was I was a high school athlete here in Minnesota as a wrestler.
- 2:46:05SPEAKER_00: Uh so I've dealt, I've had my opinion on the Minnesota State High School League for a long time, and it uh hasn't been very positive in my entire life.
- 2:46:11SPEAKER_14: Ashley, this issue, um, you know, even from a male perspective, it's uh it's stunning to see uh individuals who continue to argue uh allowing biological men and boys to compete in girl sports, especially when you've had the left for for you know for generations talking about you know feminism and equality, and yet what's been happening now is the complete stripping away of what they pretended to talk about and care about in the in the past.
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_14: Your perspective and uh thoughts on Riley Gaines uh appearing tonight at the University of Minnesota.
- 2:46:45SPEAKER_45: Yeah, I'm really excited.
- 2:46:46SPEAKER_45: I've uh been to quite a few Riley Gaines events, and uh just like Dalton and Max were saying, she's incredibly articulate, not not afraid of really anyone or anything, and she'll just call it how it is.
- 2:46:58SPEAKER_14: Um, you know, how closely, you know, when it comes to this issue of of uh boys competing in girl sports, I am curious to get your your perspective uh on this as a as a female.
- 2:47:08SPEAKER_14: Have you been involved in sports in the past?
- 2:47:09SPEAKER_45: Mm-hmm.
- 2:47:10SPEAKER_45: Yeah, I was a three-sport high school athlete.
- 2:47:12SPEAKER_45: I did volleyball, ran track, and played soccer.
- 2:47:15SPEAKER_45: Um, it's crazy.
- 2:47:17SPEAKER_45: I cannot imagine what it would have been like to compete against men.
- 2:47:21SPEAKER_45: I cannot imagine what my dad would have done.
- 2:47:24SPEAKER_45: I mean, my dad was at every single sporting event that I participated in and is such a staunch defender of his girls.
- 2:47:32SPEAKER_45: I mean, I have a sister too.
- 2:47:34SPEAKER_45: She was a three-sport athlete as well.
- 2:47:36SPEAKER_45: And yeah, I mean, it it's just insane.
- 2:47:38SPEAKER_45: Like you said, like I cannot believe that we're still talking about this.
- 2:47:40SPEAKER_14: Uh, one last thing for uh for the three of our guests uh this morning from Turning Point USA and Dalton, we'll start with you.
- 2:47:46SPEAKER_14: What would you like to share to the to anybody listening this morning about turning point USA, the organization?
- 2:47:53SPEAKER_14: Um, just anything that maybe doesn't get said enough or just something about turning point USA that you feel is important to to um to share with uh with those that are watching and listening this morning.
- 2:48:05SPEAKER_23: One thing that I I hear a lot online, I see it on social media, I've had friends ask me in person my thoughts on Erica and her taking over and her stepping into the role of Charlie.
- 2:48:13SPEAKER_23: And I always say, like, what is the alternative?
- 2:48:16SPEAKER_23: Obviously, all of us looked directly to her.
- 2:48:18SPEAKER_23: She saw Charlie build this up for so many years.
- 2:48:20SPEAKER_23: Nobody was closer to Charlie than Erica.
- 2:48:24SPEAKER_23: And she saw an entire field staff across the entire country wondering, like, are we still going to get paid?
- 2:48:29SPEAKER_23: And then she stepped in and was like, I'm here for you guys.
- 2:48:31SPEAKER_23: I'm gonna make sure this movement continues.
- 2:48:34SPEAKER_23: And it's only gotten bigger every day since September 10th.
- 2:48:36SPEAKER_23: And unfortunately, we don't have Charlie anymore, but we are on an amazing trajectory, and I'm so excited to see what's next for Turning Point USA all across the country, high school, college, the faith branch, and churches.
- 2:48:46SPEAKER_23: Turning point is doing very, very well.
- 2:48:49SPEAKER_14: Uh, thank you to all you guys.
- 2:48:50SPEAKER_14: And Max, thank you for you for uh keeping up the fight here in Minnesota.
- 2:48:53SPEAKER_14: Anything that you want to share uh to those listening and watching uh the uh this morning?
- 2:48:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, since Charlie's death, the the mission hasn't changed.
- 2:49:01SPEAKER_00: We're still gonna win and change the hearts and minds of college students.
- 2:49:04SPEAKER_00: The ground game has not changed.
- 2:49:05SPEAKER_00: It's in fact only gotten sizably bigger and better.
- 2:49:08SPEAKER_00: So we're here to stay and we're not going anywhere.
- 2:49:11SPEAKER_14: Well, Godspeed uh to you, uh sir, uh, for the work you're doing here.
- 2:49:14SPEAKER_14: Uh and uh for you as well, uh Ashley.
- 2:49:16SPEAKER_14: Anything you'd like to uh to share, maybe something that people don't uh don't know or doesn't get said enough about Turning Point USA.
- 2:49:23SPEAKER_45: Um Yeah, I mean I think as long as we're seeing the problems that we are seeing in America, we're not going anywhere.
- 2:49:30SPEAKER_45: We are very mission-driven, and it's been the same since day one.
- 2:49:34SPEAKER_14: Well, uh again, Ashley Glasgow, uh Max Bieler, uh Dalton Nelson, uh Turning Point USA.
- 2:49:39SPEAKER_14: Thank you so much for spending time uh here this morning and making the uh trip in.
- 2:49:43SPEAKER_14: Good luck uh tonight.
- 2:49:44SPEAKER_14: Uh I feel bad for the protesters outside.
- 2:49:47SPEAKER_14: I legitimately do.
- 2:49:48SPEAKER_14: I mean, these are individuals that need to have uh to have help uh and need to get help, and it's unfortunate that they get their dopamine hit um by going out there and protesting, what is going to be a fantastic event tonight.
- 2:49:58SPEAKER_14: Uh, I've had the opportunity to interview uh uh Riley Gaines a few times, so please tell her I said hello.
- 2:50:03SPEAKER_14: And uh thank you to the three of you for joining the show this morning.
- 2:50:06SPEAKER_14: I greatly appreciate it.
- 2:50:07SPEAKER_14: Thank you.
- 2:50:08SPEAKER_14: All right, 651-964-0294 is the number for the blaster line.
- 2:50:14SPEAKER_14: We've got a few minutes left before we wrap up uh the show this morning.
- 2:50:16SPEAKER_14: If you want to get your calls and voice uh texts uh in, I do have a couple of things that I want to dive into.
- 2:50:22SPEAKER_14: Uh specifically, what I mentioned as we bookend the show with the controversies surrounding uh the investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar and her career before she got elected to office, I want to dive into.
- 2:50:34SPEAKER_14: First, uh let's go back to the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 2:50:40SPEAKER_31: For the deputy owners, I think we are in uncharted territory.
- 2:50:44SPEAKER_31: I think even the Democrats at some point are starting to second their support for Ilhan Omar.
- 2:50:50SPEAKER_31: So depending on what comes out, these people may scramble to throw her under the buttons big time.
- 2:50:58SPEAKER_31: I am hopeful nothing guaranteed until we see the end result.
- 2:51:04SPEAKER_31: So don't get your black tail Debbie donor right now.
- 2:51:07SPEAKER_31: Wait until you see what comes out.
- 2:51:10SPEAKER_31: We are here for the infant stages of the information and what they have on her.
- 2:51:18SPEAKER_14: Say the good words of encouragement from a friend of the show.
- 2:51:22SPEAKER_14: I appreciate it.
- 2:51:23SPEAKER_14: So we were getting into the timeline earlier this morning.
- 2:51:27SPEAKER_14: We mentioned the developments from uh overnight, and that would be that subpoenas have gone out for members of Ilhan Omar's family.
- 2:51:35SPEAKER_14: Um, New York Post reporting, what others have been reporting for a long time.
- 2:51:38SPEAKER_14: We uh shared audio from Liz Collin from Alpha News and AJ Kern, who's been documenting uh the potential change that Ilhan Omar's staff may have allegedly made in order to make sure that it looked as if she was underage at the time when she gained her citizenship, as opposed to being an adult, which is what people um assume.
- 2:51:59SPEAKER_14: And this might be what the investigation is about, or it might be um something else that we haven't um heard from yet.
- 2:52:06SPEAKER_14: And we won't know until the affidavits uh are released, and we won't know until we see uh what the uh subpoenas detailed as well.
- 2:52:14SPEAKER_14: As I was going through and doing a bit of a deep dive on Ilhan Omar, though, I thought it was really interesting when you get into uh the timeline of her time spent here and specifically her career before she got into elected office.
- 2:52:27SPEAKER_14: So she comes here to America at age twelve.
- 2:52:30SPEAKER_14: According to the congressional records, she becomes a citizen uh at age 17.
- 2:52:37SPEAKER_14: That's where the the the change might have been made, where she may have been 18 years old, in which case she never became a citizen and she could be denaturalized.
- 2:52:46SPEAKER_14: We went broke down earlier in the show, uh courtesy of friend of the show, Joe, exactly what would have to transpire to have her removed from Congress if she was denaturalized.
- 2:52:54SPEAKER_14: And so we wait to see how that plays out.
- 2:52:56SPEAKER_14: Uh she uh went to high school here, uh, spent some time uh working out of high school before entering into the legislature here in Minnesota and then becoming a member of Congress.
- 2:53:08SPEAKER_14: It's that time before elected office I want to I want to I want to dive into for just a moment.
- 2:53:12SPEAKER_14: So she graduated from Edison High School in Minneapolis in 2001.
- 2:53:16SPEAKER_14: Omar said her grandfather helped introduce her to politics by bringing her to Democratic caucuses, where she interpreted for him in an interview published by her congressional office.
- 2:53:28SPEAKER_14: She recalled becoming interested in democracy as a teenager.
- 2:53:32SPEAKER_14: But remember, she fled a civil war in Somalia where her father served under the rule of a dictator and they lost.
- 2:53:42SPEAKER_14: So her baseline belief in ideology is stemming from an individual who was serving under a tyrannical regime at the time.
- 2:53:52SPEAKER_14: From 2001 to 2011, she attended North Dakota State University in Fargo.
- 2:53:57SPEAKER_14: We actually talked a bit about this with Bill Glon from Center of the American Experimental Policy Fellow yesterday when he joined us in studio.
- 2:54:04SPEAKER_14: Be sure to check out the podcast if you missed that interview.
- 2:54:06SPEAKER_14: It was fantastic.
- 2:54:07SPEAKER_14: She earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 2011.
- 2:54:11SPEAKER_14: She described working at Target at age 16 and later on the night shift at a post office with her father.
- 2:54:18SPEAKER_14: Okay, so she had some a bit of private sector work.
- 2:54:22SPEAKER_14: So, and then in 2006 to 2009, this is where things got interesting, at least in my opinion.
- 2:54:27SPEAKER_14: She served as a community nutrition educator.
- 2:54:30SPEAKER_14: She worked for the University of Minnesota as a community nutrition educator in the Twin Cities area.
- 2:54:36SPEAKER_14: From 2012 to 2013, she worked as a child nutrition outreach coordinator for the Minnesota Department of Education.
- 2:54:44SPEAKER_14: From 2013 to 2015.
- 2:54:48SPEAKER_14: Omar managed Andrew Johnson's successful 2013 campaign for Minneapolis City Council.
- 2:54:55SPEAKER_14: She then worked as his senior policy aide through 2015, gaining experience inside municipal government.
- 2:55:03SPEAKER_14: There is a documented connection between Ilhan Omar and the federal policy changes affecting the meals program used in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme.
- 2:55:12SPEAKER_14: Everything that I'm sharing with you right now is just the fact-based information, and I'm not drawing any conclusions.
- 2:55:19SPEAKER_14: I'm not saying that she was complicit in Feeding Our Future and the fraud.
- 2:55:23SPEAKER_14: That's not what I'm saying here.
- 2:55:24SPEAKER_14: I'm simply giving you the facts of her background because depending on what this inevitable, we believe, indictment will reveal, this could be relevant information.
- 2:55:34SPEAKER_14: I find it really curious that she worked with nutrition and these nutrition programs spent very little time in the private sector and obviously has been surrounded by left wing politics this entire time.
- 2:55:46SPEAKER_14: I'm fascinated by this because it gets into the mind of an individual like Ilhan Omar who has expressed her you know, I say hatred for the country, but really that's what it comes down to.
- 2:55:57SPEAKER_14: She's constantly been out there talking.
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_14: And pledging her allegiance to Somalia.
- 2:56:02SPEAKER_14: I'm a Somali girl.
- 2:56:03SPEAKER_14: I hope to go back there someday.
- 2:56:05SPEAKER_14: And then talking about how horrible, awful, and racist and white supremacist systemic racism and all the garbage in her time serving as an activist more than a leader within Congress.
- 2:56:17SPEAKER_14: As I mentioned yesterday, one of the things that I find f so frustrating is that here's an individual who could have served as the example for immigrants coming from the place where she came from, as how America is the greatest country on the face of the planet and how you should assimilate and adopt its values, respect its laws.
- 2:56:38SPEAKER_14: And she's done everything to the opposite of that.
- 2:56:43SPEAKER_14: So in March of 2020, Omar was the lead author for the Federal Maintaining Essential Access Lunch for Student or the MEALS Act.
- 2:56:53SPEAKER_14: They come up with the acronym first, right?
- 2:56:55SPEAKER_14: We're going to call it MELES, but we've got to come up with words to go and make that make sense.
- 2:56:59SPEAKER_14: Anyway.
- 2:57:00SPEAKER_14: So the legislation gave the U.S.
- 2:57:02SPEAKER_14: Department of Agriculture greater flexibility to waive certain requirements for child nutrition programs during the COVID-19 emergency, including rules related to where and how the meals would be distributed.
- 2:57:16SPEAKER_14: So her being the lead author on the Meals Act, while it doesn't mean that she's complicit in or involved in any fraud, this Meals Act did kick open the door for the fraudulent activity to happen, whether or not that was her intention or not.
- 2:57:34SPEAKER_14: So Feeding Our Future and its network of meal sites operated through the federally funded child nutrition programs, resulting in the largest COVID-19 fraud scandal in the country of some$250 million.
- 2:57:47SPEAKER_14: The expanded emergency arrangements formed part of the policy environment in which the scheme grew.
- 2:57:52SPEAKER_14: Now the Meals Act was federal legislation, of course, not Minnesota state law.
- 2:57:57SPEAKER_14: Minnesota has its own oversight responsibilities, but again, it was a part of the mechanism that drove the fraud.
- 2:58:07SPEAKER_14: So the Minnesota Department of Education administered the federal meal program in the state.
- 2:58:13SPEAKER_14: In a 2024 report, the nonpartisan Office of Legislative Auditor found that MDE failed to adequately investigate the complaints, follow up on serious deficiencies, and properly verify some of the program applications.
- 2:58:26SPEAKER_14: They basically allowed it to happen.
- 2:58:32SPEAKER_14: Now, but how much did those emergency changes to the meal program rules create vulnerabilities that the fraudsters exploited?
- 2:58:39SPEAKER_14: I would argue a lot.
- 2:58:41SPEAKER_14: Minnesota House Republicans have raised questions about Omar's connections to the peoples and businesses associated with Feeding Our Future, the Safari restaurant in particular.
- 2:58:51SPEAKER_14: Legislative committee material cited Omar's 2018 election night party at the restaurant and a video in which she promoted the meals program there.
- 2:59:00SPEAKER_14: They were conducting fraud.
- 2:59:02SPEAKER_14: Trial exhibits in the federal case reportedly included communications from uh between Omar's congressional office and individuals who became defendants.
- 2:59:11SPEAKER_14: In 2026, the Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee invited Omar to testify about the Meals Act and her connections to the defendants.
- 2:59:21SPEAKER_14: An effort to subpoena her documents failed in a split committee vote.
- 2:59:27SPEAKER_14: So, you know, you've got a restaurant appearance, you have communications with somebody later convicted of a crime.
- 2:59:32SPEAKER_14: They do not by themselves obviously establish any criminal wrongdoing for Ilhan Omar, but they are noteworthy, especially regarding her time in office and potentially the current investigations that she is now facing.
- 2:59:50SPEAKER_14: We'll continue to stay on top of this as more news is revealed uh throughout uh the day and a week.
- 2:59:57SPEAKER_14: And again, my expectation is that more than likely there will be an indictment coming down before we get to uh the uh the midterm and election day here in a couple of weeks.
- 3:00:09SPEAKER_25: Thank God for turning point USA.
- 3:00:12SPEAKER_25: The truth shall set you free.
- 3:00:13SPEAKER_25: Uh everybody's uh human and deserves respect.
- 3:00:17SPEAKER_25: That includes uh everyone with turning point USA and males who are comfortable being males, and males who prefer to be uh female.
- 3:00:29SPEAKER_25: Um, you can want to be a female if you're a male, but you're still a male.
- 3:00:35SPEAKER_25: So if you want to compete against other males who want to be females, have added.
- 3:00:40SPEAKER_25: But when you compete against an actual female, it's not compared to the female.
- 3:00:48SPEAKER_14: That felt a little bit like the Avid and Scopsello routine of who's on first, I don't know, third base.
- 3:00:53SPEAKER_14: Your points are well received.
- 3:00:56SPEAKER_14: That was a fun little uh comment there.
- 3:00:59SPEAKER_14: Uh thank you.
- 3:00:59SPEAKER_14: A friend of the show.
- 3:01:00SPEAKER_14: 651-964-0294.
- 3:01:03SPEAKER_14: All right.
- 3:01:03SPEAKER_14: We gotta wrap things up.
- 3:01:04SPEAKER_14: We'll end on this.
- 3:01:06SPEAKER_14: Provides me an opportunity here that I can take advantage of uh of something.
- 3:01:09SPEAKER_14: So a story I did not uh have a chance to get into earlier on the show, but I will now.
- 3:01:13SPEAKER_14: So our car, H-O-U-R-CAR, our car, this is a nonprofit ride sharing service.
- 3:01:20SPEAKER_14: It operates the EV car shared program.
- 3:01:23SPEAKER_14: Are you familiar with our car, Devin?
- 3:01:25SPEAKER_14: Have you heard our H O?
- 3:01:26SPEAKER_14: Never heard of it.
- 3:01:27SPEAKER_14: Okay, yeah.
- 3:01:28SPEAKER_14: So again, a nonprofit car share program in the Twin Cities.
- 3:01:31SPEAKER_14: It will be ceasing operations on October 15th due to a$625,000 funding gap.
- 3:01:39SPEAKER_14: Rising costs and reduced federal funding contributed to the decision despite efforts to close uh the gap.
- 3:01:47SPEAKER_14: Our car's announcement in the article that I have here in uh front of me uh from uh Channel 5 uh marks another change in what transportation looks like for the metro.
- 3:01:58SPEAKER_14: Again, I'd never heard of our car.
- 3:02:01SPEAKER_14: Uh like Waymo last month, uh something the company argued would effectively act as a ban.
- 3:02:07SPEAKER_14: The council did pass, excuse me, council, an ordinance requiring a monitor inside the autonomous vehicles like Waymo, Minneapolis Man, Baby Mayor, Mom, Jeans, Jacob Fry, uh broken clock being right twice a day, correctly went and vetoed that.
- 3:02:23SPEAKER_14: And as you remember, a few years ago, Uber and Lyft almost left after rideshare driver uh pay was increased with the Minneapolis City Council.
- 3:02:31SPEAKER_14: So for anybody who was using our car, I don't know who was, it's no longer going to be available.
- 3:02:36SPEAKER_14: So good luck.
- 3:02:37SPEAKER_14: But you might have some Waymo's that are showing up soon.
- 3:02:40SPEAKER_14: So as we get ready to close things out, thank you so much for hanging out on the show uh this morning.
- 3:02:44SPEAKER_14: Tomorrow on the show, uh, we'll have Bill Walsh in studio.
- 3:02:47SPEAKER_14: We'll be talking about the Golden Turkey Award.
- 3:02:49SPEAKER_14: You can get your nominations in now for wasteful expenditures here in the state of uh Minnesota.
- 3:02:56SPEAKER_14: We'll announce the uh finalists coming up uh at the beginning of uh next month, and then the winner will be announced right here on the John Justice show, right around uh Thanksgiving.
- 3:03:05SPEAKER_14: But uh Bill Walsh will be joining us in studio uh tomorrow morning to talk a bit uh about that.
- 3:03:09SPEAKER_14: And of course, we will hear from you as well on the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 3:03:16SPEAKER_14: You can email me overnight if you'd like.

- 3:03:28SPEAKER_14: That'll be available up on the Mix LR app.
- 3:03:30SPEAKER_14: And of course, wherever you go and listen to podcasts, you can do a rewatch of the show on Facebook and YouTube at Center of the American Experiment and Rumble as well.
- 3:03:39SPEAKER_14: I hope you have yourself a fantastic Wednesday.
- 3:03:42SPEAKER_14: God bless, and I'll talk to you guys on Thursday morning, 6 a.m.
- 3:03:46SPEAKER_14: uh 6 a.m.
- 3:03:47SPEAKER_14: I hope you'll join me once again.
- 3:03:48SPEAKER_14: And let's go out uh with a little Waymo is a no-go here on the John Justice show, presented by American Experiment.
- 3:03:54SPEAKER_14: Talk to you guys tomorrow.
- 3:03:55SPEAKER_14: Bye.
- 3:03:56SPEAKER_08: Wait, this is a self-driving car?
- 3:03:58SPEAKER_08: How does it even know what to do?
- 3:04:01SPEAKER_32: You know, and then you can use the Waymo.
- 3:04:04SPEAKER_32: You don't know which way they may go or may not go.
- 3:04:07SPEAKER_32: Just get in, okay?
- 3:04:09SPEAKER_32: There's way more ways than the way that you got.
- 3:04:12SPEAKER_32: So let's go with those ways.
- 3:04:14SPEAKER_32: The end.
- 3:04:20SPEAKER_36: Since they grip the steel.
- 3:04:24SPEAKER_36: Here they come the autonomous vehicles driven by the ghosts of the digital realm.
- 3:04:31SPEAKER_35: The humans cry out, no driverless machine hell.
- 3:04:34SPEAKER_35: And I'm gonna need for the sake of the second, you can use the way you don't know which way they make up, or maybe not go to stay.
- 3:04:43SPEAKER_35: There's a way more ways than the way that you got.
- 3:04:46SPEAKER_35: So let's go.
- 3:05:10SPEAKER_33: The salary of a minimum wage goes to be paid.
- 3:05:14SPEAKER_35: The danger is the space to be able to be free from the badge.
- 3:06:04SPEAKER_33: It's only with the dress.
- 3:07:05SPEAKER_32: You know, and then you can use the way mode.
- 3:07:08SPEAKER_32: You don't know which way they may go or may not go.
- 3:07:11SPEAKER_32: Just get in, okay?
- 3:07:13SPEAKER_32: There's way more ways than the way that you got.
- 3:07:16SPEAKER_32: So let's go with those ways.
