- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know six o'clock here on
- 0:03Speaker 1: this Thursday morning. Excited it's Thursday. Thank you for starting
- 0:07Speaker 1: with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 2: The Songwriters Hall of Fame has picked their inductees. They've
- 0:13Speaker 2: chosen nine artists to be inducted, including Taylor Swift, Alanis Morissette,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and Gene Simmons from the band Kiss. Taylor submitted All
- 0:21Speaker 2: Too Well ten minute version, Blank Space, Love Story, the
- 0:26Speaker 2: Last Great American Dynasty. She submitted all of the ones
- 0:29Speaker 2: that she thought were going to be her best songs
- 0:32Speaker 2: to show off you know just how great she is
- 0:34Speaker 2: at songwriting. And now she is one of the youngest
- 0:37Speaker 2: people to be inducted.
- 0:39Speaker 3: At thirty six years old, and I.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Believe the youngest woman to be inducted into the Songwriters
- 0:43Speaker 2: Hall of Fame at thirty six years old.
- 0:45Speaker 3: So congratulations to her.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Common Ground Bar and Restaurant is set to close in
- 0:49Speaker 2: Sylvan Park at the end of the month. I hate
- 0:52Speaker 2: these stories so much. I hate to hear it. But
- 0:55Speaker 2: don't worry. Their Bury Hill location will remain open. They
- 0:58Speaker 2: noted that their lease is almost and they couldn't find
- 1:00Speaker 2: a resolution with the owners to stay in that location,
- 1:03Speaker 2: but they look forward to growing at their location in
- 1:06Speaker 2: Barry Hill. They also said that they're working with their
- 1:09Speaker 2: staff members who they couldn't keep to find new places
- 1:13Speaker 2: of employment. So if you're looking for anybody servers, bartenders,
- 1:17Speaker 2: things like that, people within the restaurant industry, maybe reach
- 1:19Speaker 2: out to common Ground and see if there's anybody that's
- 1:22Speaker 2: looking for anything.
- 1:23Speaker 3: I know it's hard out there right now to find
- 1:24Speaker 3: a job.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So any way that anybody can help each other, that's
- 1:27Speaker 2: where you know we're really gonna.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Benefit the entire community that way.
- 1:34Speaker 2: And new research shows that your fingernails are ten times
- 1:37Speaker 2: dirtier than a toilet seat after you work out at
- 1:40Speaker 2: the gym. Per pretty disgusting fingernail squabs from gym goers
- 1:45Speaker 2: who would finish an hour long workout showed bacteria levels
- 1:48Speaker 2: from a range of different germs including E.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Coli.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And I'm going to butcher this. I feel like staff
- 1:56Speaker 2: olcaucus as well. We're gonna go with it. So they
- 2:00Speaker 2: can cause like skin infections, rashes and other things. So
- 2:04Speaker 2: remember to wipe down your equipment, don't touch your face
- 2:06Speaker 2: while you're at the gym if you can avoid it,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and wash your hands because it is very important. You
- 2:11Speaker 2: should be washing your hands every day anyways, because everybody's
- 2:14Speaker 2: sick and disgusting right now. But wash your hands after
- 2:17Speaker 2: we're workout, for sure, Amrique Sanchez.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Thank you, Ricky.
- 2:22Speaker 1: A part of me is starting to wonder if toilet
- 2:23Speaker 1: seats are actually just really clean, because everything is always
- 2:26Speaker 1: compared to a toilet, right, Like your phone is three
- 2:28Speaker 1: hundred times dirtier than a toilet seed, Like, maybe we're
- 2:31Speaker 1: just clean, you know.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not wrong. That's a great right off it. Yeah,
- 2:36Speaker 3: way to look at it.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Yeah, well, thank you for that.
- 2:38Speaker 1: We do have juvenile tickets again this morning. We've had
- 2:41Speaker 1: them all week for the first caller of the day
- 2:44Speaker 1: within fifteen minutes.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Those can be your.
- 2:48Speaker 5: River, Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Saying good morning to Jessica in Manchester. Hi, Jessica, Hey, Hey,
- 2:56Speaker 1: what are you doing?
- 2:56Speaker 4: You have a way to work? If so, let us
- 2:58Speaker 4: know what you do.
- 2:59Speaker 6: I just got off work factory A.
- 3:02Speaker 7: What kind of factory?
- 3:03Speaker 8: An auto factory?
- 3:05Speaker 9: An auto factory. She's out here making cars? How that
- 3:07Speaker 9: can hardly tie my shoes? You're killing it, Sis.
- 3:12Speaker 3: That really is something that Zach struggles with, Jessica.
- 3:14Speaker 2: One of the things that he wanted to learn this
- 3:16Speaker 2: year is how to tie his shoes with his eyes closed.
- 3:18Speaker 7: I never tie my shoes.
- 3:19Speaker 9: I buy them and then I have my boyfriend tie
- 3:22Speaker 9: them once and then I slide them off and on.
- 3:25Speaker 6: My son always wears hey dudes, because he don't want
- 3:27Speaker 6: to his shoes.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Yeah, you just slide them on. Is your kind of shoes?
- 3:30Speaker 4: Is your son thirty four years old?
- 3:32Speaker 7: I'm not either, Kevin.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Zach is thirty three. Zach is thirty three. Do not
- 3:38Speaker 2: add the year. That's gonna be a problem for you, Jessica.
- 3:42Speaker 2: How old is your son?
- 3:43Speaker 6: Sixteen?
- 3:44Speaker 3: Sixteen?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Okay, so he's like driving now and stuff like that,
- 3:48Speaker 2: or learning how to drive?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Yeah, learning another driver on the road.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Guys, please teach him well, Jessica, because when I tell
- 3:55Speaker 2: you that nobody knows how to drive anymore, nobody knows
- 3:58Speaker 2: how to drive anymore.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I'm constantly yelling at myself in the car while I'm
- 4:06Speaker 2: driving because everyone around me is making me insane.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Zach and I are both admittedly terrible drivers.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys are the worst.
- 4:12Speaker 7: I'm a great driver.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Jessica, I don't know if you want to bring your
- 4:15Speaker 2: sixteen year old to this show, but you're getting tickets
- 4:18Speaker 2: to Juvenile because you're the first caller of the day
- 4:20Speaker 2: on one of seven five the River. You're gonna see
- 4:22Speaker 2: him at Marathon Music Works on May tenth.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I have fun. It's gonna be a really cool show.
- 4:27Speaker 1: We appreciate you starting your ending your day with us.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I guess, thank you, Thank you.
- 4:31Speaker 3: You guys have a great day, you too, Love hang
- 4:33Speaker 3: on the line. Okay, we got to get your info right, Jack.
- 4:36Speaker 4: How many car accidents you've been in that were my fault?
- 4:39Speaker 7: Zero?
- 4:40Speaker 4: How many cars nobody as you be your fault.
- 4:42Speaker 7: I actually have never been in a car.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Accident other than slamming into his own garage.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I can hear the accident.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I can hear the asterisk when he says that you
- 4:51Speaker 1: said car accident.
- 4:52Speaker 7: I've never been in a collision with another vehicle.
- 4:54Speaker 2: He has slammed his car into his garage multiple times.
- 4:57Speaker 7: I've multiple times.
- 5:00Speaker 3: The man cannot drive more.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Juvenile, take it some much, wake up happy with the
- 5:05Speaker 1: Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Officially wore down my fiance AJ and we have reached
- 5:13Speaker 2: a new level in our relationship.
- 5:15Speaker 7: He finally realizes that I come first.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I should have expected that to be the response to
- 5:19Speaker 2: Zach would give that has nothing to do with it.
- 5:22Speaker 2: But we have reached a new level, something that I've
- 5:24Speaker 2: been asking him for for quite a while, and it's
- 5:27Speaker 2: finally happens.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Is it wedding related?
- 5:29Speaker 3: It is not wedding related.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Guys are still together, though we are.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Okay, does everybody immediately think we're breaking?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Going on?
- 5:37Speaker 1: After this song, we'll find out what new level AJ
- 5:39Speaker 1: and Ricky have reached in their relationship.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Next down the river, the River, Ricky, Zach and manow
- 5:46Speaker 5: in the Mornicky.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And her fiance AJ have been together for a while,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I mean the better part of a decade.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Seven eight years.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah, long time.
- 5:53Speaker 4: And she just mentioned that she finally wore him down.
- 5:56Speaker 1: He's doing something now, He's given in to something you've
- 5:59Speaker 1: been wanting for a while.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Take this story, ladies, as evidence that you just gotta
- 6:04Speaker 2: wear them down sometimes and then they'll do whatever you want.
- 6:08Speaker 7: You have persist.
- 6:10Speaker 2: So I've been asking him for quite a while to
- 6:13Speaker 2: allow me to track him on our phones. Oh yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 2: not for any reason. Yeah, not for any reason that's sketchy.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I trust him. I believe him when he says where
- 6:23Speaker 2: he's gonna be. It's not like a weird, like controlling thing.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I just want to be able to track him for
- 6:28Speaker 2: reasons of like if he's stuck at work and he's
- 6:31Speaker 2: not answering my text messages because he's in meetings, but
- 6:33Speaker 2: I don't realize that, and then I get nervous because
- 6:35Speaker 2: he's not answering me, or if he's driving far away
- 6:38Speaker 2: or going hiking.
- 6:39Speaker 3: He loves to go hiking alone.
- 6:41Speaker 2: When he goes hiking alone, I get nervous because I'm like,
- 6:43Speaker 2: God forbid anything happens, I'm not gonna know for hours.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Because because you're hiking, yeah, by yourself.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So finally, the other day, because he was driving out
- 6:53Speaker 2: to Kentucky to go see a friend, and I had
- 6:55Speaker 2: asked him where in Kentucky are you going? And he
- 6:57Speaker 2: was like, I don't know, somewhere near Bowling Green. That
- 7:00Speaker 2: doesn't help me, sir, What does that mean? Exactly? What
- 7:05Speaker 2: does that mean? So he was like, all right, fine,
- 7:07Speaker 2: I'll let you track me. Because I was like, can
- 7:09Speaker 2: I please just for the day so I know that
- 7:11Speaker 2: you're safe and I know that you're okay, that you
- 7:12Speaker 2: got there.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Fine, I'm not gonna be like harassing you of like
- 7:15Speaker 3: did you get there? Are you okay? When are you leaving?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Let me know so that I can literally time out
- 7:19Speaker 2: when you're gonna be home, so that I know that
- 7:21Speaker 2: you're okay.
- 7:22Speaker 3: And he was like, you can just track me indefinitely.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Oh so, now I finally have his location forever forever.
- 7:29Speaker 7: Where is he right?
- 7:30Speaker 8: Now?
- 7:31Speaker 7: Track it?
- 7:31Speaker 3: Let's see, he's gotta be at work.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, he's at a hotel. He's at a CD hotel.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Kevin, could you imagine I just went on this whole
- 7:39Speaker 2: TI rde about how much I trust him, and I'm like,
- 7:41Speaker 2: it's not for any other reason than just to make
- 7:43Speaker 2: sure he's safe. I'd like a random place.
- 7:45Speaker 1: The word tracking you is aggressive. I think just sharing location.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You should share your.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Location when you're significant other for safety purposes.
- 7:52Speaker 2: It does sound way worse right when you say track
- 7:54Speaker 2: he's still at home, I feel like he should be
- 7:55Speaker 2: at work.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Get up and go to my God, you guys check
- 8:02Speaker 1: so many people you have.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Your friend's locations.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Always are little sims like.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Oh, Kate's here, Melissa's here, and I've never given you
- 8:08Speaker 1: my location.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, because you refuse to. You also think that it's
- 8:11Speaker 2: strange that we have our.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Partner's locations, not partner.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Ali and I track each other. It's the friend thing friends,
- 8:17Speaker 4: you know. I thought about giving you guys my location
- 8:19Speaker 4: for Christmas.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Why would have been a great game.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Maybe next Christmas.
- 8:27Speaker 7: You have to wait also, a whole year for this.
- 8:30Speaker 2: N I feel like this generation isn't as freaked out
- 8:32Speaker 2: by it as everybody else.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I think so too.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I'm a little bit older than you guys, and yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: that's weird to me, but we'll see.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Maybe you can wear me down to three things.
- 8:40Speaker 4: A bit past seven o'clock. You're on this Thursday morning,
- 8:43Speaker 4: Let's make it a great one. Ricky's got those three things,
- 8:46Speaker 4: all right.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Let's talk about the snow that we're supposed to get
- 8:48Speaker 2: this weekend. There are still a bunch of varying reports
- 8:52Speaker 2: about what we can expect. There's a possibility that we
- 8:54Speaker 2: get more ice than snow, which is really not great,
- 8:57Speaker 2: but that all depends on which way this storm moves,
- 9:00Speaker 2: which is being heavily monitored right now. What we do
- 9:02Speaker 2: know is that the storm is expected to hit Friday
- 9:04Speaker 2: night into Saturday and Sunday. It's going to be very
- 9:07Speaker 2: cold over the next few days, so prepare for that.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Prepare to be stuck in your house for a few days.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So that means making sure you got salt, shovels, batteries
- 9:16Speaker 2: for flashlights in case we lose power, make sure you
- 9:19Speaker 2: have food. Keep in mind when you're buying things not
- 9:22Speaker 2: to freak out entirely and buy an unlimited amount of
- 9:24Speaker 2: food or unlimited amount of batteries or every single flashlight
- 9:28Speaker 2: that you see. Make sure that there are still things
- 9:30Speaker 2: left for other people so that they can get what
- 9:31Speaker 2: they need. We are looking at being stuck inside of
- 9:34Speaker 2: our houses for a few days, but like this whole
- 9:37Speaker 2: apocalyptic thing that everybody does, I think we all just.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Need to take a deep breath and prepare ourselves.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Okay, limit leaving the house if you can this weekend,
- 9:45Speaker 2: because there's no reason to be out there on the roads,
- 9:47Speaker 2: especially if it's ice instead of snow. Starting tomorrow, the
- 9:50Speaker 2: city's going to start getting rid of abandoned cars along
- 9:53Speaker 2: roadways to make way for the plows.
- 9:55Speaker 3: To make sure that we can salt and try to
- 9:57Speaker 3: make this as painless as humanly possible.
- 10:00Speaker 2: We will keep you updated obviously about what's going on
- 10:03Speaker 2: tomorrow as well, and hopefully we get some more information.
- 10:07Speaker 2: This is all just depending on how the wind blows
- 10:10Speaker 2: right now, honestly, so we will keep you updated. The
- 10:13Speaker 2: Grammys has announced more of their performers. The entirety of
- 10:16Speaker 2: the nominees for Best New Artists are going to perform
- 10:19Speaker 2: a special segment, which is really cool. So that means
- 10:22Speaker 2: Alex Warren, Addison, Ray, Katzi, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia,
- 10:26Speaker 2: Dean Somber and the Marias will all have a moment
- 10:29Speaker 2: on the stage at the Grammys.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I love this idea. I think it's fantastic.
- 10:34Speaker 2: They should do this every single year, obviously show off
- 10:36Speaker 2: the new talent. It's fantastic. It's already been previously announced
- 10:40Speaker 2: that Sabrina Carpenter will also perform. They are slowly making
- 10:43Speaker 2: the announcements for everybody else, so I will also let
- 10:46Speaker 2: you know.
- 10:46Speaker 3: How that goes.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And eating out for lunch has hit a high for
- 10:50Speaker 2: the American worker. A new study by b Logic Systems
- 10:53Speaker 2: finds that the average office lunch now costs twenty three
- 10:57Speaker 2: dollars in sixty cents in major metro areas, which is
- 11:00Speaker 2: far more than the typical hourly wage, which is insane
- 11:04Speaker 2: when you actually think about it. So those who buy
- 11:06Speaker 2: lunch every day could spend more than five six hundred
- 11:09Speaker 2: dollars a year just on lunch, which is a huge
- 11:13Speaker 2: reason why a lot of people want to work from home.
- 11:14Speaker 2: They want to be able to make lunch at home.
- 11:16Speaker 2: This is your reminder, pack a lunch meal prep It's
- 11:20Speaker 2: going to help you save money. Twenty three sixty for
- 11:23Speaker 2: lunch is absolutely insane.
- 11:25Speaker 3: I'mrisanchez, and those are the three things you need to know.
- 11:27Speaker 5: One oh seven, five the river, Ricky Zach and minnow
- 11:31Speaker 5: in the morning.
- 11:32Speaker 9: Have you guys ever noticed that your nails grow faster
- 11:34Speaker 9: in the summer?
- 11:35Speaker 5: No?
- 11:36Speaker 7: So, apparently this is true.
- 11:37Speaker 9: According to research, it is due to increase blood supply
- 11:40Speaker 9: in the fingertips because it's warmer outside, so you like
- 11:43Speaker 9: your blood flow is a lot better, and so your
- 11:45Speaker 9: increased blood supply to your fingertips makes your nails grow
- 11:48Speaker 9: quicker in the summer.
- 11:49Speaker 1: No idea, And I would assume that applies to toenails
- 11:51Speaker 1: as well.
- 11:52Speaker 7: It does.
- 11:52Speaker 9: Indeed, Oh my god, I've met nail clungs are so
- 11:55Speaker 9: much busier in the summer.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Well, yeah, your toes are out in the summer well, and.
- 11:59Speaker 7: They're growing quicker. You gotta get him done more often.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Get those toesies out of the out of their cramped
- 12:04Speaker 2: little spaces for the summer.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I love wearing flip flops.
- 12:07Speaker 7: Okay, there's your fact of the day.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Got weird, It got weird?
- 12:10Speaker 5: Let him breathe, Ricky is Zach and manno in the
- 12:14Speaker 5: morning on.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's that cringe moment that just replays in a loop
- 12:19Speaker 1: on your head despite your best efforts.
- 12:21Speaker 4: You can't do anything to stop. But it's one o
- 12:23Speaker 4: seven five the river.
- 12:24Speaker 1: We all have this just as never ending loop of, like,
- 12:27Speaker 1: you know, our worst moments in life. I don't know
- 12:29Speaker 1: why we do. My son, he's seven years old. He
- 12:32Speaker 1: just walked up to a man that he thought was
- 12:33Speaker 1: me at a restaurant and like grabbed his arm and
- 12:35Speaker 1: like nuzzled up against him. And I know he was
- 12:38Speaker 1: so mortified. I know that's going to replay for years
- 12:41Speaker 1: to come.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's all so scary. As a kid, you're like,
- 12:45Speaker 2: oh my god, that's not my dad. Yeah yeah, six
- 12:50Speaker 2: seven through seven nine, one o seven. What's that cringey
- 12:53Speaker 2: moment that you just replay in.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Your head, maybe when you're laying down.
- 12:56Speaker 2: To go to bed and suddenly you're ready to drift
- 12:59Speaker 2: off to sleep, and that this moment pops up there.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Ricky Zach and Mannow in the morning, What.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Cringey moment just replays over and over and over into
- 13:09Speaker 2: your head. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 13:11Speaker 2: On one O seven five the River, Kevin's son Riley,
- 13:15Speaker 2: he walked up to a random man at a restaurant.
- 13:17Speaker 2: He thought it was Kevin, nuzzled up into him, realized
- 13:20Speaker 2: it wasn't him.
- 13:21Speaker 4: And I know that's going to haunt him for years.
- 13:22Speaker 4: He's mortified.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Guys, Sarah and nashall, what's that moment for you?
- 13:29Speaker 10: So but shortly after me and my now husband started dating,
- 13:33Speaker 10: we were sitting in the car late at night, disgusting
- 13:35Speaker 10: how much money we were spending. This man legit liked
- 13:39Speaker 10: the movies, pulled out his credit card and started cutting
- 13:42Speaker 10: it up and I said, what are you doing? And
- 13:44Speaker 10: he said something I should have done a long time ago.
- 13:47Speaker 10: And I was like, since then, I bring it up
- 13:51Speaker 10: to him all the time and I was like, do
- 13:52Speaker 10: you understand how disgusting that was?
- 13:56Speaker 7: And you still married the man.
- 14:00Speaker 10: He's a good man, but he's very crazy.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Cringe moment, wasn't about you? Your husband phenomenal? Ten out
- 14:09Speaker 2: of ten Sarah, no notes.
- 14:10Speaker 7: I love that.
- 14:12Speaker 10: I'm not playing myself, but that's one that just replaced.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, I love it.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's so funny, just straight out of a movie that
- 14:19Speaker 1: is so dramatic.
- 14:19Speaker 2: It really is, Sarah, Your cringey husband brought us a
- 14:24Speaker 2: lot of laughs this morning, So thank him for us.
- 14:26Speaker 11: Well do.
- 14:28Speaker 4: A long time ago the drama.
- 14:31Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, the drama.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Thanks for going in love. You have a great day
- 14:35Speaker 3: and be safe for this weekend.
- 14:36Speaker 10: Okay, Oh, thank you, y'all.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Love y'all.
- 14:40Speaker 4: Deck, Do you have one of these?
- 14:42Speaker 7: Well, of course I do. Have you met me before, Kevin,
- 14:44Speaker 7: That's fact.
- 14:45Speaker 9: We were on a road trip with my entire family,
- 14:47Speaker 9: and so we stopped at a Walmart to like grab
- 14:49Speaker 9: snacks and go to the bathroom and do whatever.
- 14:51Speaker 7: So I had to go to the bathroom.
- 14:53Speaker 9: So that's how I just ran into the bathroom, walk
- 14:55Speaker 9: into the saw and I like look down, and I looked,
- 14:58Speaker 9: and I'm like, why do those shoes looked so familiar?
- 15:01Speaker 9: There were my grandmother's shoes. I accidentally went into the
- 15:04Speaker 9: women's bathroom, and so I was in the walmart next
- 15:07Speaker 9: with my grandma and I just had to like run
- 15:11Speaker 9: out immediately and act like I didn't see his singular thing.
- 15:14Speaker 7: I was like, oh my god, hi, Grandma. I don't
- 15:17Speaker 7: know why.
- 15:18Speaker 1: This was six years I was probably like seven years old,
- 15:21Speaker 1: and I was at a basketball tournament. It was like
- 15:23Speaker 1: all these different courts out in a parking lot, and
- 15:25Speaker 1: I just wasn't paying attention.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I wandered onto a court while people were playing.
- 15:29Speaker 1: They were all these like at the time, they were huge,
- 15:31Speaker 1: grown men, and they all stopped their giving like, hey kid,
- 15:33Speaker 1: what Joe, what are you doing? I was so embarrassed,
- 15:35Speaker 1: and I still think about that sometimes.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Little Kevin. I could see him just standing there back.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno In the morning on.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Rember and Dixon Welcome to One.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I was seven five the river tell us about your
- 15:50Speaker 2: cringey moment that you replay over and over in your head.
- 15:53Speaker 8: Oh my gosh, this is terrible. So my friend's mom
- 15:58Speaker 8: tragically passed away, and as a funeral, not once but twice,
- 16:04Speaker 8: I was leaving and I said, well, got to get
- 16:06Speaker 8: out of here. And after the first time, I was like,
- 16:09Speaker 8: why did I say that? And then the second time
- 16:11Speaker 8: I was like, oh my god, I did it again.
- 16:13Speaker 8: I think about it every single night I go to bed.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It just pops into your head as you're like about
- 16:21Speaker 2: to fall asleep.
- 16:22Speaker 3: You're like, why did I do this?
- 16:24Speaker 8: Every free night? I cannot believe it.
- 16:27Speaker 7: You did it one.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Time and you were already like kicking yourself for it,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and then you did it again.
- 16:31Speaker 8: Double down, Yeah, double terrible, Like I'm the Google like
- 16:37Speaker 8: ways to uh leave a funeral from now on?
- 16:42Speaker 7: Did you ever just leave quietly?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Just walk right out, get away out here?
- 16:48Speaker 4: Thanks for calling.
- 16:49Speaker 7: We appreciate you sharing that with us.
- 16:51Speaker 8: Thanks love you guys.
- 16:53Speaker 3: You by oh Man.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Hopefully it's cathartic to share, to open up about these.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Absolutely and for other people to hear that they're not
- 17:02Speaker 2: the only cringey ones out there.
- 17:04Speaker 3: ISMR in Nashville.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Tell us your cringey moment that you replay over and
- 17:08Speaker 2: over again all the time.
- 17:10Speaker 12: Okay, yes, So we were at the beach, was a
- 17:12Speaker 12: family vacation and my son Okay, his name's Carter, and
- 17:16Speaker 12: it's me and his grandma and We're sitting on the
- 17:18Speaker 12: beach and I'm like, oh my god, where's Carter. She's like,
- 17:21Speaker 12: I have no idea where's he? And we're like looking
- 17:23Speaker 12: and we see somebody down like the way Okay.
- 17:26Speaker 6: We're like, oh my gosh, Jack, go.
- 17:28Speaker 12: Down there and go get him, Like why is he
- 17:29Speaker 12: with that other family? So so Jack runs and he's
- 17:31Speaker 12: like grabbing, like we can see him like grabbing this
- 17:35Speaker 12: kid okay, and he's like pulling them and dragging him
- 17:38Speaker 12: and I like see this like grandma or something. She's like,
- 17:41Speaker 12: looks frantic, what's going on? And then Jack comes over.
- 17:44Speaker 12: He's like, dude, Carter won't come with me. And Carter
- 17:47Speaker 12: comes up to us and he's like, what's up.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Oh no, So.
- 17:50Speaker 2: We tried to like kidnap another kid essentially, yes, wow.
- 17:54Speaker 12: So the grandma comes over to us with her grandkid
- 17:59Speaker 12: and like, hey, I don't really know what's going on,
- 18:02Speaker 12: you know, like that kid just trying to grab him, okay.
- 18:04Speaker 12: And the freaky part was this kid looked exactly like
- 18:07Speaker 12: my kid. That's what I was wearing the same same
- 18:09Speaker 12: swim trunks.
- 18:10Speaker 6: In His name is Carter no way?
- 18:14Speaker 12: Yes, the most I wish I had a picture. It
- 18:17Speaker 12: was the most freakiest thing. The whole thing was like
- 18:21Speaker 12: so bizarre.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I think you might win, you might win the day. Yeah, congratulations,
- 18:25Speaker 4: thank you for yes, thank you.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Not only is that cringey, that's just also mind blowingly insane,
- 18:32Speaker 1: that's like, yeah, supernatural or something that's very absolutely we're
- 18:36Speaker 1: playing the game of the day and just a couple
- 18:38Speaker 1: of minutes here for these Preds ticks. Mascot Mayhem, that's
- 18:42Speaker 1: the name of the game. Get ready next on the.
- 18:43Speaker 5: River Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Mascot Mayhem is the name of Kevin Manno's Game of
- 18:50Speaker 2: the Day this week on one O seven five the River.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Because we're playing for Pred's tickets for February second, they're
- 18:56Speaker 2: playing Saint Louis. It's smashal Jersey night. It's gonna be
- 18:59Speaker 2: a great time. So this is all about.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Mascots, all sorts of mascots. You know, there are mascots
- 19:05Speaker 1: who represent different food brands and restaurants and whatnot, like
- 19:07Speaker 1: Ronald McDonald is a mascot technically, you know, and then
- 19:10Speaker 1: also sports mascots and Ashley in Dixon. If you can
- 19:13Speaker 1: get two out of three of these questions, right, you
- 19:15Speaker 1: win the tickets?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Okay, good luck, good luck.
- 19:19Speaker 4: How are you feeling this morning? You're feeling sharp, I'm frozen.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's kind of gross outside and kind of cold.
- 19:28Speaker 6: Yeah, but I got this.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I got you got this. I like the positivity. Here
- 19:31Speaker 4: we go. Your game starts right now.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Ashley, who was the founder and still the face of KFC.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Colonel Sanders?
- 19:43Speaker 7: Okay, all right, nice.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Job the board kind of a softball that one. Yeah
- 19:48Speaker 1: he did found KFC, like he was the founder. But
- 19:51Speaker 1: while I was researching all this, not a real colonel.
- 19:54Speaker 1: That was an honorary title.
- 19:55Speaker 3: No way, Kevin, that's wild. I never would have assumed that.
- 19:59Speaker 1: More you, I'm shocked, like what blew my mind? I
- 20:02Speaker 1: assumed he was like a colonel in the war.
- 20:04Speaker 7: And then he went on, I.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Really thought that he was in the war.
- 20:07Speaker 4: And then he calls themselves colonel. If they're not a colonel,
- 20:10Speaker 4: it's stolen valor.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Oh my god. Can we do the next question?
- 20:14Speaker 1: Please call me a sergeant Kevin from No No, Who
- 20:21Speaker 1: is the baseball headed mascot of the New York Mets. Ashley, Oh,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I know that Ricky knows this one.
- 20:34Speaker 6: I don't know that one.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I don't know that one. It's mister Met, mister Met,
- 20:42Speaker 2: and there's as well.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Are they really married? Is that a real title? Or
- 20:48Speaker 1: is that stolen valor?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're stolen valor right now.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Okay, this could be tough.
- 20:55Speaker 6: You ready, I'm ready.
- 20:56Speaker 4: You get it, you win, you don't you lose.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Name the three little guys that you'd find on a
- 21:03Speaker 1: box of rice.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Crispies, nice.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Snap crack, and Papa is right. Congratulations, you're going to
- 21:15Speaker 1: see the preads.
- 21:16Speaker 10: I love it. Thank you so much.
- 21:18Speaker 2: You are so welcome. It was getting a little rough there,
- 21:21Speaker 2: but you pulled it out. We're so proud of you.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Congratulations again, Thank you so much.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Guys, hang on the line. Okay, we gotta get your info.
- 21:28Speaker 6: Okay, thank you.
- 21:29Speaker 9: All I'm picturing is this man learning how to make
- 21:31Speaker 9: fried chicken in the military.
- 21:33Speaker 4: That's not an insane thought.
- 21:35Speaker 7: That's insane, Kevin.
- 21:36Speaker 1: There are chefs and cooks in the army. There are
- 21:40Speaker 1: not just the army. It's okay, you're helping my point though.
- 21:49Speaker 2: He goes by, Colonel, this is getting more and more nuts.
- 21:53Speaker 4: We're playing again tomorrow if I don't quit.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Three things.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Past eight o'clock you're on this Thursday morning. Ricky's got
- 22:02Speaker 1: those three things.
- 22:03Speaker 2: We're getting a new season of Secret Lives of Mormon
- 22:06Speaker 2: Wives and very soon. They made the announcement yesterday that
- 22:09Speaker 2: season four will be on Hulu on March twelfth.
- 22:11Speaker 3: I am so excited.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I love when shows don't wait seven years for another season.
- 22:17Speaker 3: It makes me so happy.
- 22:18Speaker 2: The trailer looks good, guys, Okay, plenty of drama, lots
- 22:21Speaker 2: of talk about the Bachelorette, dancing with the Stars, everything
- 22:25Speaker 2: that has to happen in between all of that.
- 22:27Speaker 3: It's gonna be phenomenal.
- 22:29Speaker 2: So if anybody needs me March twelfth, don't, because I'll
- 22:31Speaker 2: be at home watching serciort Lives. James Beard Awards semifinalists
- 22:35Speaker 2: are out and we got some Nashville entries. The James
- 22:38Speaker 2: Beard a Wards recognize exceptional talent and achievement in the
- 22:41Speaker 2: culinary arts and hospitality. So there are three national entries
- 22:45Speaker 2: across the Chef Restaurant hospitality categories. The cat Bird Seat
- 22:50Speaker 2: is in the Outstanding Restaurant category, Taylor is in Outstanding Hospitality,
- 22:55Speaker 2: and Philip Kragiic of Rolf and Daughters is in the
- 22:59Speaker 2: category Best chef in the Southeast.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Congratulations.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yes, we love to see it. There's lots of amazing
- 23:05Speaker 2: places here in Nashville and we love to see.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Them get recognized.
- 23:08Speaker 2: And there's a new type of personality, guys. It's called
- 23:11Speaker 2: the outrovert. So if you've never related to the introvert
- 23:15Speaker 2: or extrovert vibes, that might be because you're an outrovert instead.
- 23:19Speaker 2: An otrovert is somebody who, uh, they're social, they're comfortable
- 23:23Speaker 2: in groups, they can enjoy the spotlight, but deep down they.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Recharge more like an introvert.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So they present outwardly as like energetic and excited, but
- 23:33Speaker 2: their nervous system works with low stimulation and plenty of downtime,
- 23:37Speaker 2: so basically they need some time to recharge. Quite often
- 23:41Speaker 2: social social noise drains them really fast. They can like
- 23:45Speaker 2: interact with ease, but actually internally they're screaming.
- 23:48Speaker 7: I feel like I'm antrovert.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, ye see, you guys.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Are the new type of personality. Now you know an outrovert.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Amrique Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 23:57Speaker 3: to know for.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Menno.
- 23:59Speaker 2: In the morning, we're all supposed to get hit with
- 24:03Speaker 2: snow and ice this weekend here in Nashville. And while
- 24:06Speaker 2: we're adults now and we don't look so forward to
- 24:09Speaker 2: snow anymore.
- 24:10Speaker 3: We don't sled anymore. Really, we don't play in the snow.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I'm not trying to break a bone the adults equivalent
- 24:16Speaker 2: of that, though. I feel like I've noticed, at least
- 24:19Speaker 2: between Zach and I is that we get really excited
- 24:22Speaker 2: to make specific meals when it's snowy out and cold.
- 24:26Speaker 9: Literally, as soon as I saw that it was gonna
- 24:27Speaker 9: snow this weekend, I was like, oh my god, I
- 24:29Speaker 9: cannot wait to make a pot roast.
- 24:31Speaker 7: I got so excited about it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: There's something nice and comforting about the idea of just
- 24:34Speaker 1: kind of being stuck at home, like nesting or something.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Just sleep.
- 24:37Speaker 4: You got nowhere to go, So what are you gonna cook?
- 24:39Speaker 2: Zach also said that he knows that his boyfriend David
- 24:42Speaker 2: is gonna want French toast.
- 24:44Speaker 7: Every morning snowy day meals.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah, you know that that's just the way it's gonna go.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So what's that meal that you look forward to making
- 24:50Speaker 2: this weekend with all the snow coming.
- 24:52Speaker 3: It's six seven three seven nine.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Seven Zack's house it's pot roast and French toast.
- 24:58Speaker 7: What is it for you?
- 24:58Speaker 4: What will you be cooking while this is though is fallen?
- 25:00Speaker 5: Let us snow, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Sing good morning to Jason and Nashville. How you doing, buddy?
- 25:08Speaker 11: Doing well yourself?
- 25:10Speaker 4: Good?
- 25:10Speaker 1: No complaints over here? You know everybody's uh thinking about
- 25:13Speaker 1: the weather. Heading toward Nashville. Zach was mentioning the things
- 25:16Speaker 1: that they'll be cooking at home over the weekend, if
- 25:19Speaker 1: you know, people are in fact snowed in.
- 25:20Speaker 4: So now we want to know what you will be making.
- 25:23Speaker 11: Oh there there is already meat getting ready to be
- 25:28Speaker 11: turned into just the best chili you can eat?
- 25:30Speaker 3: Oh yes, Jason.
- 25:32Speaker 2: There's something about a nice warm bowl of chili when
- 25:34Speaker 2: it's cold outside.
- 25:35Speaker 7: What makes it the best chili ever? Jason? What do
- 25:37Speaker 7: you do special?
- 25:39Speaker 11: It is a combination of multiple recipes. But you you've
- 25:43Speaker 11: got stewed meat, you've got ground meat, you've got fresh chilies,
- 25:48Speaker 11: dried chilies, and powder. So it's all about making sure
- 25:51Speaker 11: you got the right ingredient.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Mouth mouser is watering right now. We want that chili
- 25:58Speaker 2: this second?
- 25:59Speaker 5: Is it?
- 25:59Speaker 4: Vegeta chance?
- 26:01Speaker 3: He just said meets Kevin.
- 26:04Speaker 11: Unfortunately not okay. And it does depend on who it
- 26:08Speaker 11: gets served to. If there's anybody from Texas in the crowd,
- 26:11Speaker 11: it doesn't have beans. But if it's for my family
- 26:15Speaker 11: in the East, Aunt Mary Lou's chili had beans, so
- 26:18Speaker 11: you gotta put the beans in the chill where you're
- 26:20Speaker 11: cooking it.
- 26:21Speaker 3: You gotta have the beans in the chili. Chili without beans,
- 26:24Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. This sounds
- 26:26Speaker 3: really great, Jason.
- 26:28Speaker 2: We're very jealous about your weekend plants.
- 26:31Speaker 11: But I will say this, I'm in my mid to
- 26:34Speaker 11: late forties. My doctor just told me the other day
- 26:37Speaker 11: I need to schedule my first prostate exam and colonoscopy.
- 26:42Speaker 11: And I'm still going sledding with my kids, so no excuses,
- 26:46Speaker 11: I'm too old to go sledding.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Love it.
- 26:49Speaker 3: I love that, Jason. I love that you're taking care
- 26:51Speaker 3: of your health. That is very important.
- 26:53Speaker 2: That's a nice PSA for everybody else to take care
- 26:55Speaker 2: of their health.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Get checked when they need to.
- 26:57Speaker 2: And also, I'm really excited that you're going to have
- 26:59Speaker 2: such a great weekend with you your family.
- 27:00Speaker 11: Thanks. I hope you guys have great weekend too.
- 27:05Speaker 4: It's a nice guy.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, April and Hendersonville. What do you make in this weekend?
- 27:09Speaker 2: What's that snowy snow day related food that you love?
- 27:12Speaker 6: So it's not her favorites of drink. So when we
- 27:15Speaker 6: were kids, my mom would always make us hot chocolate
- 27:18Speaker 6: from scratch, and it was just something that she did
- 27:21Speaker 6: when it was like the snow days and we would
- 27:24Speaker 6: go outside and play, come in and we would have
- 27:26Speaker 6: fresh hot chocolate ready to go. And so now I
- 27:29Speaker 6: do it for my kids when they're outside playing and
- 27:32Speaker 6: then like as soon as they hit the door, I
- 27:34Speaker 6: start making it and it's ready by the time they
- 27:36Speaker 6: want to come in.
- 27:37Speaker 2: So do you like, do you melt down the chocolate
- 27:40Speaker 2: and everything?
- 27:40Speaker 3: Like you go all out? Is what you're saying.
- 27:42Speaker 6: You measure with measure with your heart is where milk, cocoa, powder, sugar,
- 27:49Speaker 6: and a splash of vanilla.
- 27:50Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna remember this. I don't think my
- 27:52Speaker 1: kids like my hot chocolate. They always want hot chocolate,
- 27:55Speaker 1: but then they just eat the marshmallows and the hot chocolate.
- 28:00Speaker 4: That checks out.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Yeah, you can try this now.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna try this recipe. Thank you for calling and
- 28:06Speaker 1: that sounds absolutely lovely. So we hope you guys have
- 28:09Speaker 1: the best weekend.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Yeah, all right, thank you guys, have a great week I.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Want that hot chocolate right now too.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I want a cup of chili from Jason, and I
- 28:16Speaker 2: want April's hot chocolate right now.
- 28:17Speaker 4: I feel like we.
- 28:18Speaker 9: Should have like a massive slumber party where we just
- 28:21Speaker 9: like all of the coolest listeners and we just have
- 28:23Speaker 9: like rent out of gymnasium and we hang out.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and we like what happens during a disasters. I'll
- 28:33Speaker 1: bring my hot.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Chocolate, Ricky, Zach and Meno.
- 28:36Speaker 5: In the morning, on.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Hillary Dove, she's doing music again. She's touring again. She's
- 28:43Speaker 2: playing her old music again and it's been a lot
- 28:45Speaker 2: of fun for the millennials.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's uh. Today's Daily double Tap is audio
- 28:50Speaker 4: from her. This was recent, right, I mean this this
- 28:52Speaker 4: just happened.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Yeah, this is like two days ago.
- 28:54Speaker 4: All right, here we go.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Hillary Duff is back and she's today's daily double tap
- 28:58Speaker 1: on the river.
- 29:24Speaker 4: They beautiful, Zach.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I like when people can embrace, you know, their younger
- 29:29Speaker 1: days and that stuff and they don't like look down
- 29:31Speaker 1: on it and think, oh, I'm not playing that.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I also read that that was the first time that
- 29:36Speaker 2: she ever performed that song no what for a full
- 29:39Speaker 2: crowd or anything like that. Yeah, cool, which is wild
- 29:42Speaker 2: to think about that she's never actually performed that.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I need to double check, but that's what I read.
- 29:46Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 29:47Speaker 1: We're gonna post that video if you want to see
- 29:49Speaker 1: it at one of seven five the River on Instagram.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Ricky zach and Mannow in the morning
