- 0:01In 2020 week here, let's say 10 years old, eleven years old.
- 0:06He spends a year at home with unbelievable level of trauma,
- 0:11tension, fearful life. The sirens that pass out when
- 0:15they're telling you that you're hunkering down, you don't know
- 0:17what's coming. And then they wake up after the
- 0:20holiday and they hear all the memes and they give you a pile
- 0:22on the names of people assembly without No Longer Alive and the
- 0:26whole scene and the graveside funerals and all the talk.
- 0:30And it was a little bit dramatic.
- 0:31And the kids picked up on everything.
- 0:33Every kid had access to an iPhone.
- 0:35And every kid, I don't care what level of religious or what, they
- 0:39all have access to every detailed news.
- 0:40It does not pertain only to the community or only to the
- 0:44mainstream community. It pertains to every child.
- 0:46OK, unbelievable level of Trump. Then they come out of that and
- 0:50then you have whatever life brought along with the AIBLM,
- 0:54people moving to deal during the time, people hunking me down for
- 0:57months on him, their masks, attention, all that.
- 1:01Then he got a little while later of a few years later, yeah,
- 1:06October 7th. There was something in between.
- 1:07I forget 'cause it was October 7th, like I said, October 7th of
- 1:11you walking into your shoe. And that's what I remember, the
- 1:13scene of the security guard. I remember the tension in shoe.
- 1:17You were there. The fear, the unbelievable
- 1:22chaos, the anxiety it can build for a 1213 year old child have a
- 1:267-8 year old child is beyond. They dealt with that for years,
- 1:30two years, literally on and off. The idea of hostages, the fact
- 1:34that they're watching videos of hostages.
- 1:36Could you imagine what a kid thinks?
- 1:38The fact that they're seeing soldiers and they seem, like I
- 1:41said, these sharp, normal looking boys passing away one
- 1:45after the other. And you see the names and they
- 1:47see the ages and the seed, the Jewish names and they see where
- 1:50they came from. And we're adults.
- 1:51We can forget about the kids. OK, Why?
- 1:54And then they see the hostages get free and they see, they come
- 1:56out of skeletons and they see and talk about the horrors and
- 1:59the kids are picking up on this. I would delete on my WhatsApp
- 2:03any video of any of these things before my kids touch my phone.
- 2:07Imagine I had to be like a put on a screen or any video of
- 2:10these things because they'd pick up and they go straight to them.
- 2:14Then they had to deal with the elections right 24 and all the
- 2:21hysteria and the sense that if he would lose the world would go
- 2:26completely crazy. That was a sense right?
- 2:29And that was our feeling and that's emotion that we give over
- 2:32fair true great. Now you have this this for the
- 2:37kids the last month build up and looking at the guy like he
- 2:40literally is going to represent evil or his words evil.
- 2:44They therefore dangerous. Is it a scary for
- 2:47representation? Absolutely it is.
- 2:50There's a lot of realities that step in that can protect us.
- 2:54And one of the big ones is the fact that anything she says she
- 2:57can do, he can't do. And a bigger one is the fact
- 2:59that God exists. All right.
- 3:01And really we should have told our children the whole time we
- 3:04have to look at things with wise, you know, one eye open, I
- 3:07got it sleeve with one eye wide open.
- 3:09Have to be aware. You have to be on top of things.
- 3:11You have to be responsible that much.
- 3:13Yes, we can tell our children from COVID until now, but the
- 3:17tension that they live with is impossible.
- 3:21I do not expect any child to go without anxiety right now.
- 3:24I can't How they how is it possible?
- 3:26How can they not have anxiety? How can a child focus on school?
- 3:30How can they have a regular day where they just enjoy their
- 3:32family? I say this all the time.
- 3:34I grew up in the 90s right? In the 90s everything was easy.
- 3:38I don't remember any of this right.
- 3:40It's the same Hans Shamble as the world seem exact Hashem.
- 3:44You want to tell us he's telling us to go to Israel.
- 3:46Well, look, Israel's not a piece of cake.
- 3:48It's not that simple, not a basic cake.
- 3:50There are kids on the front line.
- 3:52There are sirens. There are fears.
- 3:54It's a life that the people there accept the chaos a little
- 3:57more and they can live with it. They can handle it.
- 3:59You can have as really cab drivers making jokes while
- 4:02they're, you know, dealing with whatever's going on.
- 4:04You can have people functioning while the kids are even on the
- 4:07front lines. It's a different head.
- 4:08Absolutely. It's.
- 4:10It's equally disturbing because they have the We're in the
- 4:12middle of the Civil War. You have both.
- 4:14Then you have that too. You have that.
- 4:15Sorry. I saw that million man walk.
- 4:17We have that too. And also I said the chaos.
- 4:19There's a lot there. We're fine.
- 4:21You want to say go there, are you?
- 4:23That's that part of the gallow that I hope is light really is.
- 4:26Attention that we're. Feeling the whole idea is to
- 4:29accept the galut and they recognize we are living in it.
- 4:33And at times we get pockets of outward calm and at times we
- 4:37don't get that luxury of outward calm.
- 4:39But at the same time, we are always able to have the inside
- 4:44calm. We're always able to have it.
- 4:46And the fear and the concern of what's going to happen tomorrow
- 4:51is not really something that's supposed to ruin today.
- 4:54Because ultimately all these things are really, in my humble
- 4:58opinion, they really all a very strong representation of the et
- 5:03cetera, et cetera. Says, I guess I got these
- 5:05beautiful Jewish people. They have a good mind, they have
- 5:09good families, they have good upbringing, even have good
- 5:12faith. The wonderful people.
- 5:14Let me do something to them. Let me upset their entire life.
- 5:18So let me show them a, a image of something that happens in, I
- 5:24don't know, in a different country, some sort of attack and
- 5:28let that be on there in front of their eyes.
- 5:30Let me show them something else happens in another side of this
- 5:32country. And then let me once in a while
- 5:33even show them something happens in that backyard like this just
- 5:35happened. And that's really, really scary.
- 5:38And let's put that together. And then people paint the
- 5:39picture and then you start having this mindset of tomorrow
- 5:42and the next day and what's going to be and what's going to
- 5:44come. And then you function with a
- 5:46light. Well, you can't really accept
- 5:48building your home and you can't really accept the idea that your
- 5:51children are going to set up shop over here and you really
- 5:54have a hard time moving forward. And you really have a difficult
- 5:57time thinking about the beauty of our Georgia getting married
- 6:01all the summertime, all the holidays coming, whatever it is
- 6:05as beauty in our lives. They have a little bit of a
- 6:07damper on that beauty because Allah, a little damper on the
- 6:11beauty because, oh, something's going to be tomorrow.
- 6:14I think it was tomorrow. We all live until 120 years,
- 6:17right? It's a very limited amount of
- 6:19time. It's not that long.
- 6:20And God gave us a beautiful life within them.
- 6:23And it is, in a certain sense a bubble life.
- 6:27It doesn't even have to live in a bubble.
- 6:29It means it's a bubble life now. Life is beautiful among this
- 6:32chaos. I went to a wedding last night
- 6:35and people are dancing by the wedding.
- 6:37And we already knew who won. And my mindset was at the time
- 6:40be myself. They're dancing.
- 6:41They might know too, but it's a funny thing.
- 6:43They're dancing. They're so excited.
- 6:45If you follow the words in the news and you follow our
- 6:48approach, there's no dancing. Follow our approach is the
- 6:52opposite. It should be very should be
- 6:54crying. It should be very upsetting.
- 6:56I said this morning, I have an emotion that only hits me a
- 6:59couple of times, OK? You know, honestly, it's a
- 7:01sports emotion. A double S loss to the Rangers
- 7:05in 1997. OK, He was 97.
- 7:08I remember this like yesterday. I was a teenager when I was a
- 7:12young, young teenager. I was a young kid and I was on a
- 7:16teenager before we under that and you lost.
- 7:19And I remember like yesterday, Messier cheated, OK, He ranged
- 7:24your fans. And why not agree with me?
- 7:26He cheated. He got into the crease and he
- 7:29scored a goal while being in the crease, which is a penalty.
- 7:32He was in the crease and he pushed the goalie around.
- 7:34He pushed the goalie around. I remember crying.
- 7:37I remember sitting there crying, all right, as a double face.
- 7:40It's not a fear. He was in the crease.
- 7:42He was in the crease. He's in the crease.
- 7:43And that emotion, that feeling of the morning after that has
- 7:48hit me a couple of times. It hit me then 97 in him when
- 7:52the Yankees lost the World Series, I believe in 2001.
- 7:55OK, that was also a very upsetting feeling when they had
- 7:59that the that they call it shock and awe with the I remember this
- 8:042 will it was against the Yankees.
- 8:06Barry, Arizona, yes, Arizona. I have only the feeling and they
- 8:11lost and then we had this feeling when in 2008 when he was
- 8:17Mitt Romney, he lost to Obama. Same feeling.
- 8:20Sorry, an emotion. All right, this emotion has been
- 8:23done a couple of times. And this morning I woke up.
- 8:27I think I woke up every hour. That's not actually maybe this
- 8:29is the reason why. And I woke up with the same pin
- 8:31on my son like like I'm not in the mood to go into the day.
- 8:33I'm not in the mood for this. That feeling like you usually
- 8:36have the bravado of the Trump bravado.
- 8:38Hey, I've like the oh, everything in the news is, you
- 8:40know, say things are going in. So oh wait, all that mindset.
- 8:42So we're uncomfortable feeling and then you pile on what
- 8:45happens you. Sounded like Hitler in this
- 8:47speech. Yeah, you're gonna get it.
- 8:49His under strong wasn't. We're not.
- 8:52Alert. So then how does a person in his
- 8:53life learn, right? So people always right?
- 8:57You have to remember, like what happened with Hitler was the
- 9:00real life, right? It wasn't propaganda, sure.
- 9:04Jews. Were you know so?
- 9:08But who's to say because we don't know.
- 9:10Hush 1 Shamain. Maybe this is a Dallas sign.
- 9:14Yeah, maybe this. Is the sign get out or or pay
- 9:16the price later like? First of all, there's two things
- 9:19it's very practical for. One is that, like I said, we're
- 9:23going to which will we saw some Israel because it's a Florida
- 9:26thing's a joke. Also Israel because anyway, we'd
- 9:28rather be in Israel. That one is super duper
- 9:31complicated in a lot of ways, right?
- 9:33And it will destroy in a certain sense.
- 9:36I know if everyone goes together, it won't destroy them.
- 9:38If everyone goes separate, which is very practical, some people
- 9:40go to you, shall I go to Rananas and we'll go to I.
- 9:46These are the places and we'll go to talk about the practical
- 9:49place people are going to today. These are the places people are
- 9:52going to and that right there that loosely can be.
- 9:55And I really firmly believe that nothing can penetrate is the key
- 10:00point. Nothing can penetrate our
- 10:03strength of total that we have today.
- 10:06And it's a bit special riding with M1 idea.
- 10:08The strength of total that we have today is stronger than
- 10:10ever. That you want to call a bubble
- 10:13doesn't mean that's a bubble where you ignore the world.
- 10:15It's a bubble where you build up this road and even as the world
- 10:20around you gets crazy, right, So it's still stronger than there.
- 10:25And the key difference is a very important point.
- 10:28The key difference between Germany and this world today,
- 10:32besides the fact that it's a democratic country and many of
- 10:35the things that people think they'd say they can do, they
- 10:36can't do. And all that's true, all right?
- 10:39And we are in a very heavily Jewish populated place.
- 10:42The big difference is, is that the Jewish people at that time
- 10:46were slipping terribly. And today we're not slipping at
- 10:51all. And that means in every area, it
- 10:53means religion, it means, it means and being together, it
- 10:57means and having one voice, all those things are slipping.
- 11:00So if they were slipping, the only thing that made the Jews
- 11:04know that they were Jews, most of them were the Nazis.
- 11:07We have so much going on for us. And again.
- 11:10They voted and then both voted as a blocking together and it.
- 11:14Does and the things, yeah, even whenever, right.
- 11:17So that's both a faith idea and it's also an encouraging idea.
- 11:21Tells us with not that type of structure where it's falling
- 11:25apart and the only thing that's vulnerable is them.
- 11:28We're quite vulnerable. We're actually more formal than
- 11:31these crazies. We have more money, we have more
- 11:33blessing, we have a lot more Hashem, and we have a much
- 11:37greater, stronger structure than these crazies do.
- 11:40Even within the situation and even though it's democratic and
- 11:44even though they're not, we're never going to win.
- 11:45And all that's correct, it doesn't take away from our
- 11:49current structure. So therefore you tell yourself,
- 11:52I have a beautiful life. The Itzada is very gifted and
- 11:56the Itzada decided, let me scare people.
- 11:59What is scaring people do it takes away your ability to
- 12:03enjoy. So you go to a waiting list.
- 12:04Now you're not so happy, you're happy for them.
- 12:06You're not, You're not have the same feeling like you might be
- 12:09if you're going with the etcetera, right?
- 12:11Your kids wake up in the morning and you look at the kids with a
- 12:14beautiful sight. All right, see your grandkids.
- 12:17What a unbelievable gift that we have.
- 12:18We have Torda, we have Shabbat, we have our marriages, we have
- 12:23our homes, we have our deal homes.
- 12:25We have everything going on. The only thing we don't have is
- 12:28that thing out there in the distance that we're watching on
- 12:31the news or maybe even our backyard this morning that's
- 12:34meant to scare us. You know, what that's trying to
- 12:36do is try to take away from your beauty.
- 12:38Accept, enjoy, live your beauty. Sure, there's one eye open.
- 12:42Yes, you have to double down on security.
- 12:44Let's have to be more careful a little bit, absolutely.
- 12:47But the tension, the fear, the cracking of our existence based
- 12:53on this, first of all, it's silly.
- 12:56Second of all, it's totally a representation of the Sahara.
- 13:00And you're feeding it to the animal.
- 13:02You're feeding it to the other side's animal.
- 13:03All they want is fear. All they're looking for is try
- 13:06to get us crazy. OK, I'll give you a classic
- 13:09example. Maybe it's an extreme example.
- 13:11The Shiba that I learned is right now some Benson has 80
- 13:14seconds, Champion Bay Parkway, one of the classic, and she was
- 13:18old fight for the last seven years.
- 13:21It's still going on. There's a building on the corner
- 13:24being built, a very big building.
- 13:26What is this building? Mosque.
- 13:28It's a future mosque. OK.
- 13:31Is that really a mosque? It's an Arab Medical Center,
- 13:33whatever you call it. But they all know it's gonna be
- 13:35a mosque. Now, are they hysterical?
- 13:38No. Did they try with all their
- 13:41might and all the lobbying to to discourage another religious
- 13:45center on the corner to try to use their legal right?
- 13:47This topic? They did.
- 13:48Did it work? Eventually.
- 13:50It didn't work. It failed.
- 13:51So now what does that mean? I look at them every day as I
- 13:54live in, you know, over here, I don't live there.
- 13:57I look at them. These guys are buying homes in
- 13:59the area or they're renting it. I say, what's wrong with like,
- 14:02what are you doing? First of all, it's taking this
- 14:04mosque a million years to build. Was it was.
- 14:07Every moth bed. Or no that their mind cities and
- 14:10their mind cities they cannot the.
- 14:12Good one. That's the good one.
- 14:14Exactly. So do you go buy a $4 million
- 14:16home now, right? Then my first of all, if you do,
- 14:19you can sell it. That one you do, you can sell
- 14:21it. And that's another value
- 14:22because. We're all the customers.
- 14:23It does because the Chinese are buying anyhow, right?
- 14:25They'll buy it for more. But their mindset is right, you
- 14:28know, especially over there. Their mindset is, I'm here, all
- 14:31right? I look at them and I say their
- 14:33mindset is, I don't know, I have tomorrow.
- 14:36This thing is not being built in.
- 14:37A year should take a long time for this to get through the
- 14:40ground. And somehow I'm watching him.
- 14:42I'm there. I'm watching this scene for I
- 14:43think it's seven years already. And they leave those seven years
- 14:47without that feeling. Every time I walk by that spot,
- 14:49I get a bit of my stomach. They don't and the kids are
- 14:52running right by it. So what does that mean That
- 14:54means you leave it to eyes 11 eye open absolutely go to sleep.
- 14:58You have one aisle that same time you function perfectly.
- 15:02You prepare somewhat you think about other places if you can
- 15:06afford it call a couple of get an apartment in Israel will have
- 15:09a plan. I'm with you, but at the same
- 15:11time, at the same time you living and enjoying and digging
- 15:16into this world and you got to because all the incident are
- 15:20trying to do is destroy our beautiful existence.
- 15:23It's a shame when I told you about those kids, 'cause these
- 15:25kids are growing up in a rich life.
- 15:27They're growing up in a life where they're protected, they're
- 15:29safe. They're going up a life with
- 15:31more Torah, more family, more fun, more Jewish beauty, better
- 15:37schools, everything they have better.
- 15:40The only thing they don't have is that the witness is going
- 15:42outside the roads. And that's a shame.
- 15:44And that's something you have to get rid of.
- 15:46And as you have to be able to create a feeling and a sense of
- 15:49calm to kings. None of this should matter for
- 15:52adults one eye open, but we still should enjoy our lives.
- 15:56That's really my opinion and I believe if you have faith and
- 15:59have and when others the approach and we do not compare
- 16:03it to 1930s Germany for a lot of reasons.
- 16:07The number one reason is, like I said, because the Jewish people
- 16:10at that time were broken. The Jewish people today are not
- 16:13broken. I'm never let that happen.
- 16:15X one, number one, number two, that's maybe that's the biggest
- 16:18thing. You never can say that baby.
- 16:20You never can say it fully because we don't know.
- 16:23Hashem allowed that when he got out, Hashem, when he got out of
- 16:25it, again, that we can say. But from our event point, like I
- 16:29said, the big difference is the Jewish people at that time were
- 16:31broken everywhere here. The Jewish people everywhere are
- 16:34strong in every sense. We may not control the outcome
- 16:39of the election or have the ability to vote enough to
- 16:41control that outcome. He may not have that sense of
- 16:45control. And the reality is, and I felt
- 16:48this the whole time Trump won the first time he came to visit
- 16:52the community. Remember when he came for the
- 16:55reelection, there was all sorts of jumping over yourself,
- 16:58excitement to get a seat to see him right?
- 17:01At the time, my humble opinion was, are we doing you guys?
- 17:06You know, we're doing it. He's a human being, wonderful
- 17:08guy. He's a lot of fun attainment
- 17:10every day gets his entertainment.
- 17:11I love it. It's very good.
- 17:13He makes us happy every day with his words.
- 17:15Be overdoing it. It's not to be or end off
- 17:18anybody. OK, fine.
- 17:21Then whatever happened with COVID and all these things that
- 17:23he lost and the sense that I had then when he lost was that this
- 17:27is so clearly the hand of Hashem.
- 17:29Hashem is telling us stop handing control to these people.
- 17:34And I think Hashem did it. Again, Trump won.
- 17:38He's great. By the way, not everything's
- 17:40great because they're tariffs. Let's be real.
- 17:42OK, keep that aside. Fine.
- 17:45A lot of fun again, very entertaining.
- 17:47Again, fight, fight, fight. Again.
- 17:49My kids can jump up at any point and they'll do this fist.
- 17:52And they know, I know exactly what they're talking about.
- 17:54All right, My son made an image, I think he made AI image of
- 17:57himself, and it looked like that.
- 17:58OK, fine, I got it. And then once again, him says
- 18:02round two. Once again, I'm in control.
- 18:06Chill out. Back to this situation, Chill
- 18:09out. That doesn't mean we're going to
- 18:10go through all this process again, but it does means, again,
- 18:13let's chill out with the control.
- 18:15It's not about us being control. It's about us being control of
- 18:17ourselves, us enjoying the light and the gift that we live.
- 18:21We need to step into our own zone.
- 18:24It's a humble opinion, all right.
